Let's Discover ON - The Chefs' House in Toronto - Duration: 3:47.
Hi everybody it's Tony and Petula. We're heading to dinner tonight at The Chefs' House, which is the
George Brown College student-run restaurant. Fantastic. Buon Appettito!
So The Chefs' House is probably the most unique dining experience certainly for the Greater
Toronto Area and if not in Canada. The entire space is staffed by the students; the cooks, the pastry cooks, the server's the bartenders and
the opportunity is to give them an idea of what a real world restaurant works like. One lamb! One chicken! Yes Chef!
We teach them the fundamentals from fine dining and fine dining service so it gives them that opportunity with the guests
to really put what we've taught them in a classroom into practice.
The reason it's unique and different is because you're supporting students,
you're supporting the next generation of talent. Plus we use a lot of local ingredients. We're one of the
Culinary Tourism Ontario destinations. We use 60% of the produce we use is from Ontario.
This has been very very popular and the little flowers you see on all the different dishes that you're gonna see today
All those are from the George Brown
Garden, so all those are edible flowers and it comes right from the college, so it's a great little fact
you can add and your guests would love to know that. Okay moving on....
So what's it like being in the George Brown culinary program?
Actually really exciting, I mean you really dont know what's going to happen. Everything is new, you meet a whole bunch of people from all around the world.
You learn from everybody.
The other thing is, while it's low pressure, it's low key. But they get to see the action, and you get to those TV screens as well
So do you really see what's happening in the kitchen. What is this? It's a firing order?
What does that mean? Basically after an ordering comes in,
They'll start cooking the meat right away, but they won't cook it fully, they'll let it rest afterward.
And then a fire order comes in and then we put it in the salamander heat it up to the correct temperature.
Another thing about the ordering of what they do is they send all the prep right here of the veg
And I'll call it firing out to them, and then they'll start cooking the veg
And then they'll bring it over to our station, chef of the day,
And we'll plate it and send it out. Guys, I need you to fire table 14, firing table 14.

Some of the students that I've seen in the last 18 months have gone from
meek, introverted individuals over the space of a couple of months.
They really believed in their talents, really believed in their abilities so in the food
I see getting put that up here by the chefs and the service as well from the front of house staff is second to none.

SuperXE ROM For Nexus 6P|Android Oreo - Duration: 7:03.
Hey what's up guys shark jungle is here with a New ROM review for Nexus 6P ,This ROM Called
Super XE and it's running android Oreo , the Review is 7 parts make sure to watch all of
it to know every thing about this ROM , you can also use the timeline in the video description
to watch any part you need, If you like my reviews plz don't forget the like button and

Installation If this is your first time to install a custom
ROM then make sure to watch my tutorial on how to install TWRP custom recovery on your
device Now Boot into TWRP
make sure to do a backup and if you don't know how just check the video description
and you will find all the tutorials you need to get the job done
hit wipe then advanced wipe select every thing except internal storage and swipe to wipe
now hit install and select the ROM zip file then swipe to flash
follow the Aroma installation instructions and choose every thing carefully ,
and after finishing the installation Now time to flash the vendor image which is
important if your device running android Nougat or any ROM with a different build number
Hit install then choose flash image and navigate to the vendor file location, select vendor
image then swipe to flash , now hit reboot and wait for the boot animation
logo to show up , the ROM installation will take about 5 minutes
Performance The overall performance is acceptable , This
includes gaming performance and user experience and I've noticed some lag while using the
device on applications like Google Maps , substratum and I think those are incomparability issues
and it should be fixed soon ,and as you see here I've done a bench marking test with Antutu
and the score is 57k which is below Nougat Score I remember that it was about 80k which
is much more than this , but keep in mind that we are talking here about early builds
for Android Oreo and I hope to be better on the upcoming releases
Sensors It's very important to check the device sensors
after installing any custom ROM cos if there is any bugged sensor this will lead to a various
problems according to which sensors is bugged , and as you see all the sensors responding
nicely no problems at all Gps antenna cached a 3D fix while indoor in
less than 30 seconds and I've used the device for navigation without any problem
Battery After the first use for this ROM I decided
to check the SOT with Geekbench battery test and the results was awesome as you see I've
got 5 hours SOT which is amazing compared to Nougat but keep in mind that I've done
the test on a dimmed screen, After that I've used the device out door while adaptive brightness
is activated and the brightness slider in the middle , most of the time I was playing
Cash of clans game , watching youtube videos and connected to wifi , As you see I've got
3 hours and half SOT and 1 day on battery which in my opinion is a very good battery
life for a heavy usage.
Gaming performance Gaming performance is good and I didn't feel
any difference compared to Nougat ROMs , The Game is running smoothly , no glitches or
stutters
Features This ROM based On Android open source project
, so every thing in here is pretty much stock , All Android Oreo feature are available except
the ones that Google removed until now Like picture in picture and navigation bar customization
, but I managed to get those features up and running using a very helpful App called custom
navigation bar , So if you want to enable those feature go ahead and follow my tutorial
and I will leave a link in the video description The ROM has Aroma installer so you can choose
what ever you want to install ,as you see I've got all of this preinstalled like pixel
lancher , magisk , viper for arise which is not working and I'm gonna talk about that
in the Bugs Part , I also have substratum which is amazing tool if you like to change
your device appearance but keep in mind that Oreo support still in the early stages , so
you might find some awkward stuff while using substratum but it is still cool to have it
on your device So I think that's all the feature you have
beside Stock android Oreo features Bugs
every thing is working flawlessly on this ROM except viper for arise , I've tried to
install the driver couple times but still no luck I also tried to set the kernel to
permissive then install the driver but still no luck , I flashed viper 4 arise again in
TWRP and still couldn't get the driver to be installed
there are some users claimed that they got no sim problem and to be able to solve this
problem just clean flash the ROM and the vendor image as I did in the installation part and
every thing should work fine I've also noticed that ADaway is not working
at all ,as you see it said that it is enabled but every time I play a video I got ads , anyway
those bugs are not a big deal for daily usage .

Ways to see or hear the Faery. Sharon Ramel hear from the humble couch. One way
that we can look at seeing the faery is with a stone found at the water's
edge. You are looking for one that has been worn away by the years with water
rushing over it until it is smooth, pick it up and see if there is a small little
hole that is been pushed right through. If you cannot find this how about trying
to hear our faery friends with a seashell. Pick it up put it to your ear
and yes you can hear the sounds of the sea but if you are looking and feeling
and hearing right you may also hear our fae friends. Hold it up look , walk
around three times in the circle after you've heard or with your stone walk
around three times whispering, "Oh faeries peek when they see me a faeries peek
when they hear me, and now I will peek and I will hear and I will see". Again "Oh
faeries peek when they see me and faeries peek when they hear me and I will peek
when you see me and I will hear when you see me". And third time for good luck "oh
faeries peek when they see me oh faeries here when they hear me and I
will peek when I see thee and I will hear when they see me. Now you must
believe it for this simple spell to work so once more with a stone or with
the shell this is a way of feeling hearing and seeing our faery friends
