penny welcome back to my channel so today it's not an unboxing but it is a

haul so I have a whole bunch of jewelry from aliexpress.com if you'd like to see

what I got my first impressions of the website quality stuff like that then

please keep on watching make sure that you also subscribe to my channel if that

notification balle upload a video every single day of the week and I don't want

you to miss any so it's going to get started so Aliexpress is kind of like a

wish calm but it's cheaper I've seen a couple of people do videos on Aliexpress

but it's always fake makeup I haven't seen on jewelry so some of these

products are items I've already have worn but I kinda want to show you guys

how it comes packaged and all that so first thing I'm going to show you guys

is a really really beautiful pair of earrings all the stuff comes in the

little white envelopes like on wish they come in a little plastic baggie okay and

these gorgeous earrings beautiful tassel earrings really really pretty guys these

were like 20 20 cents with free shipping ok so I'm gonna go ahead and insert what

the picture on the website looked like a lot of times with you know websites even

just Amazon or you know Sephora or whatever they don't look the same as

what you get so I'm gonna go ahead and insert that now

looks the same I mean they are really really pretty I like the gold hardware

I like the link they are gorgeous that a whole bunch different colors and for 20

cents guys killer killer delt love these so so pretty

tassels are in guys and I'm glad I was able to get some for super cheap okay so

the next thing I have for you guys is a pair of little silver leaf earrings I

haven't even opened these yet but once again guys like I said it comes with

nice little plastic baggies and these are actually really really cute I think

these were like 18 cents they were like really really cheap very very pretty I

like the details on these so let's go ahead and insert the picture of what

they look like on the website and see if they look the same

- I mean these look exactly the same as what they put on the website so I think

that is awesome but really really beautiful little leaf

earrings I love leaf earrings okay and then I've seen people wear these a lot

and they are like those little double little earrings where it has the bigger

piece in the back and I think these were like everything was pretty much like

under 20 cents I think these were like 21 or 22 cents but you got a small pearl

and then you have a large pearl and then they just kind of come apart and

you just play it like you would a regular earring with an earring back and

then a whole bunch of different colors but yeah so that's the effect that you

get but these are really really comfortable I think they're really

really cute so let's go ahead and see what they look like online and see if

they look the same I mean 3 4 3 that is a really really great percentage I mean

hundred percent so far like that is awesome so yeah super pleased with it so

far so I have one more item to show you guys and this was the most expensive

item guys and this was 68 cents and it's a little pair of owl earrings with a

matching necklace and we even opened these yet but but it's like almost like

that laser cut steel it's just like a black silk cord yeah and that's really

really pretty really really nice and

then just the matching earrings those are so so cute too

I love owls obviously but these are so cute so let's go and look at the website

and see what these look like online as I mean these looked exactly the same it

came with the two pieces came with the necklace and the earrings set so yeah

super impressed so guys a little bit about Aliexpress calm so this stuff is

shipped from let me see this stuff is shipped to from Vietnam takes about a

month to get here it's some of the items came a little bit faster than others I'm

still waiting on a silicone brush cleanser like the little cleaning map I

haven't gotten that yet and it's been almost a month and a half buyers kind of

like on you know like Amazon they have different sellers and stuff and some of

them will have zero stars four stars whatever so their little app is awesome

but yeah guys I am extremely pleased with the Aliexpress jewelry so I would

definitely reorder I actually have reordered but you guys I spent like a

dollar 25 on a whole bunch of jewelry they're comfortable obviously guys if

you have sensitive skin sensitive ears and you can't wear cheap jewelry

obviously guys this stuff is cheap jewelry okay but it's nice looking cheap

jewelry which I'm all about I love jewelry I like having lots of choices

and yeah I think that the Aliexpress yeah I think that they really are very

careful about making sure they show you what you are actually buying which is

amazing to me so yeah I would definitely recommend Aliexpress calm or buying

jewelry I have about anything else off there like I said I'm not a huge fake a

fake makeup person and obviously you know they're probably not gonna have

clothes my size but for jewelry wise heck yeah I think it's really really

nice jewelry guys I think this would be perfect for holidays for birthdays

anniversaries or whatever just make sure you give yourself enough time to get it

here to the States but anyway you guys I hope you enjoyed this a little bit

Fr Legge #8: Does the Holy Spirit work apart from Christ? (I, 43) - Duration: 4:07.

Does the Holy Spirit work apart from Christ? (I, 43)

This is a very important question, that a lot of people ask today.

Sometimes it is asked, because people are trying to find a way to appreciate

how God might be working outside of the visible bounds of the Catholic Church or even of the Christian Faith.

And, they might try to say:

Well, perhaps the Holy Spirit works through Christ for Christians,

and then, apart from Christ, is at work in these other religions to bring people to God.

Is this a good or helpful way of thinking about the relationship between the Holy Spirit and Christ?

I think, it is a dangerous way to talk about it and a problematic way.

And, I am not alone in saying this.

In 2000, the Vatican released a very important declaration, a clarification on exactly this question, called "Dominus Jesus,"

which says, that there is no economy of the Holy Spirit apart from Christ and the Church.

What that means, is that: yes, God can be at work outside of the visible bounds of the Catholic Church.

When he does work outside of those visible bounds,

he is always still working through Christ,

and bringing people, whether they are aware of it or not, into a relationship with Christ.

There is no salvation apart from Christ.

So, Christ is the only Savior.

And, all who are saved, are saved in virtue of Christ and through him.

So, Aquinas gives us some very important resources to understand how this works, as well.

And, for Aquinas, it is inconceivable to think of the Holy Spirit working apart from the Son and the Father.

Why? Because they are one God.

There is only one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit always work together: they can never be separated.

If we could posit,

that the Holy Spirit were working over here and the Father and Son were not working there with him,

then, we would have destroyed the belief in the Trinity.

We would, in effect, be positing, that the Holy Spirit is a separate God.

And, that is false.

So, how do we understand the Holy Spirit in relation to Christ?

Well, the Father speaks his Word, the Son, and the Father and the Son breathe forth the Holy Spirit.

So, wherever the Holy Spirit is and is at work, he is there as from the Father and the Son.

And, in the world, in the economy of our Redemption,

the Father sends the Son to become man, in order to breathe forth the Holy Spirit on the world.

That means, wherever the Holy Spirit is at work, he is at work as the Spirit of Christ.

He is at work to draw us back to Christ, to conform us to Christ,

and therefore to make us adopted sons and daughters of the Father,

conformed to Christ, who is the perfect Son, the natural Son of God, we could say.

So, does God work outside of the visible bounds of the Catholic Church?

Yes, that is certainly possible and we know it does happen in some cases, at least.

In every one of those cases, it is the Spirit of Christ which is at work.

And, that Holy Spirit is drawing all those, that it aides, towards God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

"curiosity killed the cat" means if we ask too many

questions or if we get involved in other people's business

sometimes bad things happen.

Or else.

We don't know exactly what will happen if George sticks around,

but it's probably something similar to what happened to the dead guy on the floor.

Tom might just be crazy!

If I was George, I would get the heck out of there

and run like crazy!

Let's do some similar and opposite expressions to "curiosity killed the cat".

Here are some similar expressions.

I will say them out loud.

I need you to repeat after me, out loud, and improve your pronunciation.

be careful

let sleeping dogs lie

don't get involved

avoid the situation

All of these expressions mean you probably want

to get out of there.

Don't get involved.

Don't mess with the situation.

Something bad could happen.

"Let sleeping dogs lie" is another idiom.

Imagine you're walking and there are a few dogs that are sleeping.

They're sleeping very well and you go up and you kick them.

It's very common for a dog or anybody not to be too happy if they're suddenly

forced to be awake.

So maybe the dog would bite you.

Who knows.

Either way, let sleeping dogs lie.

Don't bother the situation.

Don't get involved.

Here are some expressions with the opposite meaning.

Repeat after me.

don't be chicken

you only live once

don't be afraid

seize the moment

All of these expressions, in red, mean you need to get involved.

You need to move forward and get more information.

Make things happen.

These are the opposite of what "curiosity killed the cat" means.

Let's do another example.

Shall we?

I think so!

Fred decided not to follow the hungry, angry bear into its cave because curiosity killed the cat.

However, he did try to pet the lions.

We should not emulate Fred.

Fred is probably not the smartest man on earth.

He stayed away from the bear but when he saw the lions, he's like, "Oh, how cute."

I got to pet them."

However, the lions had a different idea...

Roaaar!

And they attacked him.

Fred went to the hospital and hopefully he learned something from the situation.

Don't get involved.

Don't move into the situation.

Be smart.

Stay away!

Another example!

We got the toilet paper guy and a very serious man who is almost bald.

"I'm stuck in this roll of toilet paper.

I guess I should have listened to you."

"You silly, silly little man.

"Thanks for making me laugh though.

It sounds like these guys had a conversation before and the guy on the right

told the guy on the left, "Don't go in the toilet paper."

But, he didn't listen and he got stuck inside the giant roll of toilet paper.

At least, one of them was able to laugh though.

But, hopefully they learned from the situation.

Let's review the meaning of "curiosity killed the cat".

union now it could also be that some of you may you know be o play marital

oh my goodness I'm having so many problems with my camera so I I hope it

doesn't cut out because it has been doing it I hope you had a beautiful

you're waiting to hear an answer from a higher up or if you're the higher up you

you may be waiting to gather more information before you you know have an

answer come in but I do feel travel there may be a delay in travel I also

feel like it's important with passports that you've got I don't know I get like

being accountable so make sure that nothing's expired I also feel like being

financially accountable you might be meeting with an accountant or a
