If you want to introduce a successful work of art to be popularized
you have to undergo one of these two poits
Whether to introduce a very powerful subject that can impress people
or introduce something that can provoke them.
Due to this you will be very famous and you will be seen by many and you will be insulted as well
and that's exactly what happened with Sabaa Gar series.
From a while "Sabaa Gar" has been introduced to us
and it's one of the serials that have been evolved outside Ramdan's race -Ramdan: the holy month for Islamic people-
like "Abou El-Arosa" or "El-Tofan"
we can't say that this is the most successful one among other serials and controversial of them allwatching it.
,but it's the most attention grabbing
In the beginning the series has been shown in a frame of a social series and introduce itself as a family series
that everyone can enjoy
The series has gathered us as a family once again to watch it every evening at 07:00 pm.
In my opinion, "Sabaa Gar" is very down to earth,
everything that happens in the series exits in our society
everyone's personal life to every little detail like clothes
from how the mother behaves with her children, the relations between neighbors,
random talks and families relations. Everything is so real.
What makes people so connected with the characters and
is that the majority of the staff is unknown people who haven't a real acting career.
People are feded up from some actors who their great concern is not acting ,
but it's how they look like,act or wear in front of the camera.
By the progression of the episodes, the series started to present ideas
that the target audience aren't used to
like conditional marriage, pre-marital relations and marital boredom
that leads to cheating.
And others of characters and cases that we can discuss for a whole another season.
Finally, we can say that it reveals what is behind doors.
Although, the society is presented as an open-minded source through the social media;
however, it's open-minded in an superficial way.
Even though there's artificial reality and social media but people still don't get the point
So there is no small category of people who are enclosed on themselves
and they see that the events of the series are far from reality.
Why there are some viewers refuse these examples?
for two reasons. Firstly, because people make these
mistakes secretly, but when you reveal what they're doing on the screen, now you
are disgracing them. Secondly, many of the presented examples in the series is related
to girls ;for instance, how can a girl say that she wants to smoke
Weeds or Mariguana?
How can a girl live by her own?
However, if one-third of these stuff man does the whole issue will be accepted under the term of being cool.
How many male actors had a role of a character that smokes Cigarretes?
or Weeds?
but of-course it's regarded as a way of being cool in comedy scenes.
A big part of the problem is our use of the word or the term, for we are an Eastern society,
but why we don't say that we are a religious society?!
Whatever your religion is, that's not enough and i'm telling you why.
but the question is
do religion call for something else than the Eastern society?!
the answer is yes,
However the prophet Mohamed (pbuh) who is better than me and you,
all his wives names are known for all of us
Moreover, the Virgin Mary is called Mary not " Jesus's Mother" or "Om Essa".
In addition to this, there is a specific Surah in the holly Quraan which is named after her.
So, don't use the term of Eastern society as, obviously it has no meaning
as it's you, who's making it up and has nothing to do with religion.
we're a society that does whatever it wants
from a while at the beginning of the 19th century there was a foreign series that is presented on the channel two that all people supposed to have on their T.V and on the recall of this issue, Do the dramatic works that involve intimate scenes or inappropriate scenes for families is something intruder or not?
so we're neither a religious society nor an eastern one.

Another point is that back in 19th century and maybe before, intimate or inappropriate scenes were ok
but now it's totally unacceptable.

People who were in that period of this time will remember it's trailer very well.
The Bold and the Beautiful series had been watched by many people in Egypt
and it was from the same category of Sabaa Gar which is Soup Opera.
which is about family relations.
The Bold and The Beautiful has more than 9k episodes and still counting.
Furthermore, it was full of nakedness, intimate relations,
incest and delusions which are not related to our Eastern society,
but the whole issue was to accept other cultures with pleasure ,
you can ask your parents about that series and they will be still remembering every second of it
I, personally, used to watch it with my Grandpa
Well that was at the time when this kind of scenes were unacceptable in our eastern society
but the ugly truth is we had no problem with showing and introducing these "western culture" as we call.
Anyway the whole issue was to accept other cultures with pleasure, as claimed by the Censorship of Artistic Works.
so why we can't accept ours!
In every place in the world,
reality is discussed through serials and films, sometimes there's imagination, fantasy or reality
it depends on the writer .
so why here we give it more than it deserves?
Moreover, they have replaced the role of the instructor, father and mother by these serials and films.
As a result, serials start to instruct and teach people without anyone that direct and correct misconceptions in children.
Do drama makers want to carry this heavy burden?
Should they try to beautify our lives?
what do you think of people's opinion?
if we stop showing the bad side of everything
would that help in solving the problem or not?
Do you think that if we stopped showing the bad side in our society in serials and movies?
Would it help?
no
yes, of-course it's a solution
no, it won't help
no, it's not a solution as in real life there's a bad side. it's not fiction in movies.
we need that side to make a work more realistic
if the writer decided to delete it then he's transforming it into SCI-FI.
what would make a good solution is, if the writer create a solution too.
it's not about the solution
it's about framing Egypt in a bad way.
In western movies, they always show the good side
here we just show the bad one
We should give more attention to religious serials, the ones that are filled with morals and Holy Quraan
in which people can learn from
we can watch too football and sports and people should do sports, it's something they can make use of.
on the other hand, Serials and weeds and all of these things are nonsense and trigger bad habits.
Generally, there is no specific thing that we can call it right or wrong in drama and media,
yet there are different points of views all of them have to contradict with each other
There is a point of view or some who say if there is a problem it has to be revealed through drama to not be exaggerated secretly.
And there is another point of view which says that you are not allowed to show these abnormal manners to people.
end if someone says an inappropriate word in a bus station,
how many people would hear him? 10, 100 or 1000?! Ok, it will be a limited number.
So, why should I say this to million of people on the screen? that's how you see it.
Others say that they inform the suitable age classification for watching,
to convey that inappropriate content will be presented subject!
others say children can open these things without the noticing of their parents ,
at this point don't be afraid from Sabaa Gar, be afraid from other inappropriate things
that they may be able to watch on the internet or on TV behind your back.
Just don't be afraid of Sabaa Gar
you should be afraid from terrorism, sexual thoughts and many other things
that they can face and eventually will lead them to major obstacles.
