Hello everyone this is Christina Wallis and welcome to my channel if it's your

first time I do weekly tutorials on flowers out of gum paste and cold

porcelain so you consider subscribing! This is my second season of our TIP

TUESDAY and I'm going to be talking about gum paste, gum paste, and nothing

but gum paste, and today I'm going to cover some common questions about gum paste that

I get on a regular basis on my social media and in general .

First Q. Gumpaste and Sugarpaste is it the same thing? Yes! It is the same thing and

sometimes people confuse sugar paste with fondant because...well, it's kind of

logical but it's two different things ( they are wrong we are right :)!) gum paste and sugar paste

like exactly the same!

Q2. Now the next question is about shop bought gum paste

versus self-made gum paste and this is a very good question

and I would say that shop bought one is expensive, it's whiter and it lasts

longer. However, for the most part, I find that as per Nicholas Lodge's recipe

self-made gum paste brings about better results it's less fragile, not to mention it's a lot

cheaper even if you add a little bit of edible white paint to whiten it up, so I would

say that self-made gum paste takes my vote here. I'd MADE a VIDEO on the difference

between the two , the LINK is in DESCRIPTION below.

Q3. Fondant Vc gum paste I already made the full video on that see the LINK in DESCRIPTION ,

but I would say, that gum paste is great for flowers and fondant is fantastic , and the only thing

(unless you go 'naked' ) for covering cakes, pretty much, and you do it the other way around.

And with it, you can't really make nice flowers out of fondant, because it doesn't dry

FIRM enough, it doesn't roll THIN enough. You can just do it for cupcakes, esp. kids' cupcakes.

Q4. How long does it take to dry gum paste? Now this is a million dollar question!

I would say that if you roll it thin enough and your humidity is about

average, then it would probably dry very nicely overnight or at least with

average humidity as the one where I live and I live ( UK ) I roll my gum paste quite thin and for me it dries like this

perfectly for 'next day' , but the best way for you to gage it in your own environment is to

run a test, but yes about 12 to 24 hours sometimes a little bit more is about average.

Q5. Is gum paste good to use on cupcakes? it's not very good to use to

cover cupcakes to give them this little flat 'covers', you have to use fondant for

that but you could make flowers out of gum paste, they would look very beautiful

just like they would on cakes but you have to consider choking hazard. Gum

paste is really quite a 'chokey' , hard thing, hard crunchy texture, it's not as edible so people,

most likely, are not going to eat it and it's going to be a waste on the side. I would

say that from my experience people choose to I decorate their cupcakes with

fondant a lot more often than with gum paste.

Q6 The next question: Can you keep gum paste flowers in the fridge?

I would say that yes you can but you have to do it

really really carefully and pack your flowers really well so that the

condensation does not get your flowers! Personally I would avoid it at any

cost and leave my cake to the last minute to

decorate ( using buttercream helps) but if impossible seek particular guidelines do the test and be

careful the same goes for freezer, although I don't have personal

experience because I never really tried to freeze my flowers in the freezer!

GAINER - How to JUMP #24 [ENG. SUB.] - Duration: 10:52.

What's up? Howdy!

[HOW TO: GAINER]

Welcome. Today I've decided to change something.

I wanted to talk about a double screw,

but I thought that you can manage that by yourselves.

If you've mastered a single screw and know how to spin,

all you have to do is boost your rotation to do a double one.

There is one more trick that we haven't talked about and that you've asked for – gainer.

We're talking about the gainer flash kick on a trampoline.

We'll add gainer switch and something like this as well.

[STEP BY STEP]

Here's our trampoline,

now let's go step by step.

Step 1: choose the side on which you will be doing the gainer.

If I kick with my left leg, I go right here, and do this to the right.

As if in reverse.

Left leg, right side.

I will be doing my screw rightwise.

When I make a kick with my right leg, I'll be doing this leftwise.

I get pulled to the left.

I chose the right side, since it's easier for me to make a kick with my left leg.

Let's start.

I stand on my right leg, left one is free.

I'll be trying to do the back flip.

Starting with light rocking or from standing.

I'd recommend you to ask an instructor for help,

since a flip from one leg standing is not that easy,

and if you're not able to do this from standing on both feet

it wouldbe worth asking for help from a person who will provide you with altitude and some additional rotation.

This is all about understanding the sequence of gainer and overcoming oneself.

This is not a trick by itself.

Standing on one leg,

I'll be trying to do some ordinary flip.

It's working.

It does not have to be high, all you need is a start.

Now we can try to do the same thing,

only using our left leg that will be doing the kick.

I stand on my right leg and try to use the left one.

I make a strong kick.

I even managed a landing.

Of course, this was not that strong.

Now we can try a little bit harder.

Standing on one leg, I kick as strongly as I can.

Now I felt it.

If we're not moving, our hips might be quite blocked,

especially on a trampoline where our leg might fall in.

That's why it will be harder to make a kick, so an upgrade is necessary.

If I make a kick with my left leg, I make a pass from here.

If I jump right here,

I'll have some space for a harder swing.

I jump, doing a 90-degree turn rightwise,

pull back my leg, and am ready for a gainer.

Let's take it easy first.

I turn on my foot, catch the spot and make a kick.

Spot, kick and it's working.

One more time.

Right leg.

[CORRECT START]

[CORRECT POSITION]

Kick, and there's our flash.

One important thing.

If you make a greater swing,

try not to aim forward,

because when you do this, you will be turned to the side.

I'd recommend to aim slightly to the left.

If I make a kick with my left leg, I do this rightwise and aim slightly to the left.

Now our gainer is a beauty and we can keep on jumping.

That's important.

[BASIC MISTAKES]

I'm sure you've all mastered the gainer and must be ready for the gainer switch and cork.

I'm sure you've managed this, sitting at home in front of the screen.

Now for the important stuff before we get on with gainer switches and corks.

Two mistakes you might be prone to make.

Or two questions.

The first thing is the beginning.

Try to find your favourite.

My favourite one looks like this: I stand on a mattress,

jump on a trampoline on one leg with a 90-degree turn.

When I'm making a jump, I withdraw my arms

and prepare myself for a huge kick and swing.

This is my beginning.

I used to do this like this.

When you're used to doing this or it makes things easier for you,

removing the stress for instance, you might do so.

I aim with the right leg and make a kick.

Almost as on hard ground.

The other thing is the kick itself.

Right at the start, try to make it as hard as possible.

If you're doing the gainer switch

which involves a change of legs,

the first leg should lift you up,

and the change must be smooth.

The same thing with the cork.

The kicking leg must initiate the turn.

You should not crouch, but make a good swing.

That's it.

Now for the gainer switch and cork.

Now you know what your favourite start of the gainer is.

You also know that the kick is crucial.

Now we can do the other kick.

We switch legs to get the gainer switch.

See what it looks like.

I'll do the kicks and see what will happen.

A little too slow.

It has to be much quicker.

We must make the first kick shorter.

This leg does not have to lift us up.

We make a quick kick so as to switch the legs.

Remember that we're on a trampoline,

and it's different here than on some hard ground.

See this one more time.

Kick, switch, and I'm ready for the second gainer.

The first kick is shorter, but strong.

The second one is longer so that we can land in a starting position for another gainer.

Let's try doing two, to see if it works.

It does.

Now for the cork.

How to do this?

As in a gainer, only we don't have to land facing the spot right there.

We let our kicking leg carry us.

See me do this.

My leg will make me turn after I land.

My hips will open and once I land,

rotation will be no problem for me,

and I will fall facing this spot right there.

Now we can try to close the rotation in the air.

As in a screw or an a-twist.

I make a kick,

lift my arms and do the turn.

Let's see what happens.

I might fall on my hip.

It fell out, again.

I must take this off or it's going to fall off,

and Marcin is going to kill me.

Here he comes.

Going unplugged now.

One more cork to finish with,

and then we'll try to join gainer switch and cork.

I leave you to it.

Have fun doing your combinations.

Try to do as many gainers or corks in a row as you can.

That's what it's all about.

As you can see, both gainer, flash kick and cork are manageable,

especially after so many episodes

from which you've learned a great deal of interesting tricks.

Try to combine tricks together.

If you have any problems, ask an instructor for help,

they will provide some advice, whether it's your legs or arms.

100 Push-ups Every Day for a Month! | Push-Up Challenge Results - Duration: 6:11.

Gonna talk about the push-up challenge that I gave to myself about a month ago,

right after this. Hey guys, welcome to A.D. Keto! My name is Aaron. This is the channel

where I talk about the ketogenic diet. I do some keto food vlogs, I do some

push-ups, and to do some keto recipes. If this is your first time here, please

a month ago, in fact Christmas Day 2017, I told myself, "You know what? I'm not gonna

wait until New Year's to start my resolution. I'm gonna start doing a

hundred push-ups a day... starting tomorrow." So on the 26th of [December], I started doing a

hundred push-ups a day. A couple of my pals on Instagram really inspired me to

do this challenge. One of them is Greg Whyut. He's pretty awesome.

He has been really encouraging, as it pertains to my taking up strength

training, and has been just a cool guy all around. The other dude who inspired

me to do this is @AntiGravityGains, whose YouTube channel you can see right up

there. He's actually going to be on this channel in the coming weeks, talking a

little bit about endurance training. But he did this thing over the holidays

starting on Thanksgiving going through Christmas, and I think New Year's, called the

Holiday Streakers Challenge. It's basically working out everyday between

Thanksgiving and Christmas. And then he did this supplemental challenge, which

was to do as many pushups in a day as you possibly could, and that was New

Year's... I believe, if I recall correctly, New Year's Eve. So I gave myself a

challenge of doing a hundred push-ups a day, starting on the day after Christmas

2017. At first, I thought, "I'm just gonna train and try to get as many done as I

can, and get myself ready to do as many pushups as I can on New Year's Eve." But I

enjoyed it so much that I have continued doing this push-up challenge, and then it

was bolstered again by Keto Connect's little habit-forming worksheet that they

put out in the beginning of the year. So I grabbed that. I've been doing 100

push-ups a day for over a month now. It was a month on the 26th of January. So

when I started this challenge, I thought I was doing really well in the few days

prior to New Year's Eve 2017, because I was getting... I was like, "Oh

my god, I can do 20 or 25 at a time?!" But my form was completely jacked. Like, look

at my form. It was bad. Like arm, elbows, way out to the sides. Just not... not, not

textbook, as they say. So I watched some YouTube videos, looked up some stuff

about proper push-up form, and as it turns out, I could do FOUR in a row!

It's tough, and over the past month or so, I've been documenting. So for the each of

the last 30 days, I have some push-ups on camera, and I'm gonna roll a little

montage, right now!

Hey guys. Just wanted to pop on here quick. I'm about halfway through this

push-up challenge that I gave to myself, 30 days of... or a month of doing a hundred

push-ups, and I definitely feel like I'm getting stronger. I...when I started, I

couldn't do five with proper form, and now I'm ripping through... I just did a set

of 19. I was so close to getting to 20, but I am regularly doing sets of 10, and

often pushing it to 15. So definitely getting stronger. And I will see you at

the end of this thing!

So that's 100 pushups a day for the last 30-plus days. I took some pictures before

I started, and again, beware there is some major dadbod coming up. Here's me on the day

after Christmas, when I started, and then here is me a couple days ago, after doing

a hundred push-ups a day for a month. I was hoping to see some results, some more

noticeable results. There's not a ton of difference in these two pictures. In this

side picture, I can see a lot of difference in my upper arm and tricep

area, and this one didn't look all that different when I first looked at it, but

then I took a look at my shoulder. There's definitely something going on

there with my shoulder, adding a little bit more muscle to the shoulders. So I

like doing these. I've got it set up, where I get up in the morning, get my

kids on the bus, I do 3 sets of 10, go back upstairs, shower, get ready for work,

get my daughter on the bus, do another 2 sets of 10, and then throughout the day

at work, I'm either sneaking push-ups -- sets of 10 in my office, or I'm -- as Greg

Whyut will ridicule me for -- doing some bathroom push-ups, in the privacy of the

bathroom. I DO wash my hands thoroughly, but it's very private in there. It's a

nice bathroom. And I do sets of 10. So 100 pushups a day requires NO equipment. You can

do it kind of anywhere. I'm seeing a very modest results, so I'm going to stick to

it, and maybe I'll update this later on in the year. So that's it for this video!

Let me know if you guys are doing pushups, what else you might be doing for

working out, especially working out without any sort of equipment or weights.

Calisthenics kind of stuff. This has really worked for me over the past month.

I am going to be adding some weight training over the coming months, but I feel

like this is a good start for me. So that's gonna wrap it up for this video,

Why Do Some People Prefer To Be Alone Most of The Time

You may be wondering why your friend does not want to go with you.

You probably also expect that he talks to you, but he doesn't.

You also may think that he will share ideas in an important meeting, but he doesn't.

You probably notice that they have different behaviors just like other people.

These curiosity is frequently addressed in any social setting because there is always

someone who loves doing different things including staying away from people and remaining quiet.

If you are wondering why, there are some good reasons why people prefer their time to themselves.

Here is some of the reason, but before we jump to the lists, If you're new to our channel,

#1 - Lacking of social skills

Believe it or not, people have different natural social skills from the day they were born.

They get them from their parents, determining their basic social skills.

However, as the time passes by, they learn many things from people around them.

Obviously, people have different approach and result from any learning progress.

That also includes learning social skills.

Sometimes they even think themselves that their social skills are not good enough to

talk to others, making them reluctant to be around with people.

#2 - Lacking of social interest

Social interest requires a communication or interaction between human beings.

People who prefer being alone just does not have any interest to such interaction.

They prefer having interaction with inanimate objects.

Some even prefer engagement with plants and animals instead.

It seems like people only make them frustrated, and that is why they choose to interact with

other things.

#3 - Protective walls

People who prefer staying alone usually have dramatic motives on why they do so.

One of them is because they have experienced painful or hurtful interaction with others.

Staying low by avoiding people will keep them safe and sound mentally.

This helps them a lot to perform better in their life.

It is true that past problems can be the real trouble.

It creates wall that separates individuals.

However, it is also a matter of choice to break the walls.

#4 - Introversion

Another element that may affect this behavior is introversion.

Before moving further, it is worth noting that introversion is not a social defect.

In fact, it is just a preference to stay low because of possible exhaustion from social

interaction.

Being introvert can be a great reason for making someone alone at his, or her home.

Introverts prefer withdrawing from social interaction because of the stimulation that

they may get.

The more exposure to the social interaction, the more they start to feel uncomfortable.

In an interaction, introverts must listen, focus, and understand before they respond.

This can take a great deal of mind processing energy which makes introverts exhausted.

The exhaustion can pose several side effect ranging from stutter, speech impairment, losing

vocabularies, and ungrammatical utterance.

This is what makes introverts prefer staying low, alone in their favorite places.

Otherwise, they feel guilty and regret for not being able to contribute.

#5 - Mental health

The last thing that makes people feel safe to be alone is mental health such as depression,

stress, and confusion.

There are so many things that make such condition happen.

However, it is important to realize that this condition requires self-recharging method

for curing the effect.

That is why people who have problem with their mental health must withdraw from society for

recovery.

All in all, that's some of the reasons why do some people prefer to be alone most of

the time.

My name is Isabel Jiménez.

I am the owner of Transformados Ruiz.

We are a family company that works with sheet metal laser cutting, bending

and punching in different materials.

In 1997, this company was founded by Juan Carlos Ruiz

and, sadly, in February 2006 my husband died.

I had to take over

and take responsibility of the family and the 19 workers we had here in our company.

and well,

We were mainly focused in construction sector.

When the crisis began, we realized that sector was exponentially falling down.

And we decided to take a first step to the machine

we were needing the most at that time - a punching machine.

We started having a look at the market and we got

all the pre-established brands out of our heads

and visited the different machinery deals throughout Europe.

One of the trips we made to have a look at some machinery

was to England to see the AMADA punching machine.

We visited the UK Technical Centre,

where we could see the machine producing our parts.

The technology was much better than the other brands

we had visited previously, and regarding functionality and versatility

it was the ideal for us to be the most competents.

Also, 2 years ago

we started working with the Lean production method.

and we saw that the new machine we had just add into the company,

the HG ATC pressbrake with automatic tool changer,

was very focused on the Lean method,

because it economises on waste.

This machine is good because you can

make a program either from the technical office or directly from production workshop.

It's the same with the operators, it doesn't matter if they are skilled or not.

Precisely, one of the things we value the most

Is the service vocation that AMADA has.

We have obtained

answer to all the technical needs emerging around.

As I said, We have been growing

learning,

and providing our customers

with the technical solutions they needed.

Certainly, that's one of the most valuable aspects of Amada

to give such a technical support and to count with their commitment to growth and service they have with us.

The incorporation of the HG ATC was more than justified because

It has 2 strengths speaking technologically .

Obviously, one is the automatic tool changeing which allows us reducing up

times and maximizing the value.

On the other hand, the high

quality of construction it has and the repeatibility offered by this machine.

It's truly fantastic when you have to start a job by only scanning the

work order on the CNC scan and you see how everything gets ready

in seconds.

The truth is that we've started to have many parts in our

library and tool changes are very fast,

and as I said, with minimum preparation.

At this point, we've reached such a close relationship with Amada

that any consideration regarding New equipment or new products

that we have to put on sale to the market,

they offer us a complete assesment either technical or

and I'm wheel addict , the Video that I'm about to do right now it might take more

doesn't matter because I really need to do it and the reason why I need to make

this video and what we are going to talk about this video is Salomon skates in

2018 I'm gonna give you my opinion about what happened with Solomon

even if my opinion is just an opinion and that's what it is so let's go a

little bit back in time in 1997 that's when the industry first start hearing

about Solomon getting in the aggressive skate market I remember my first year in

Lausanne was in 1998 and Solomon was there presenting the two new skates with

a like super amazing team the team was and farmer you consider Matt Andrews

chiaki to and the skates were the Salomon st8 in the Salomon st-9 was one

was like navy blue and white and the other one was like kind of like a beach

dark brown white they were like super amazing

skates and for the rest of the industry back then it was hard to compete with

Solomon because they had a lot of background from producing really quality

products like shoes like all these things that need a lot of money to

produce and they had all that background competing event against brands that came

that just from skating all they need they knew how to do was like boots they

had no proper competition so at first when the Salomon skates came out is just

like it was amazing the amount of technology that they could they could

put in a product was awesome but right now it's been 20 yeah it's been 20 21

years since Salomon boot I'm not saying that the boot is not quality because

they were the first brand in fact these was the first ufs skate ever the iron

fabric Pro Morrow was the first-ever ufs skate for those of you who don't know

the ufs was a system created to make the frames Universal basically ufs means

Universal frames system before these most of the frames used to be riveted to

the boot and there was no way to change frames there were a few companies trying

to do different things like Senate and 50-50 but no one really made like a

universal frame so Salomon they didn't create it it was like the whole industry

was working on it but Salomon at the first skate this man Solomon Hart father

but a few years later just like most of you know the skating industry went down

a bit so the numbers start going down there was less people starting and

obviously there will affect the companies wallets there like less gates

being sold there's less revenue some brands state some brands left Salomon

was one of those there's a lot of people saying they left for different reasons

which for me again it's just an opinion all I see is the numbers went down they

left people still buy these skates in 2018 where is the money going to

I don't know it's not going for the industry for sure it's not going in

between any brands it's not going for development it's not going for anything

else I don't know and then when you see some

of the best skaters out there skating with these profits I can't complain

about it again this is just an opinion and I know like most of the people want

the best skates they can find but I truly believe there's other brands out

there making like really really quality skates and the technology on these ones

again it was awesome but nowadays a lot more brands can do stuff like that my

feet liners use the exact same not the exact it's even more advanced foam on

them on the liner than the old Salomon liner that used to be the top of the

thing of Salomon escapes we all know that intuition does good liners too

probably my feet and intuition are way better than this so one of the main

features of this skate was the liner then yes it's a Slean feet but we know

that what the value of v 13 is as clean it's a slim fit skate

we know that the USDA a slim fit skate ufs I guess like 95 97 99 percent other

than the am skates are ufs so what does this skate is so special I guess it's

just like because they left just like the artists when they died that's when

the whole thing gets valuable but the problem with that happening is with

killing our industry when we're putting money on things like this we're not

helping it for sure like I'm gonna give you an example I got paid by a skate

brand to do marketing for them but if I'm a pro skater if I'm Rich Eisen if I

was organ and if I was Alex Brosco if the brands that produce their states if

they're not selling how do you expect them to get paid and let me complain

about things like yeah Alex Brosco is working in a warehouse we know that is

one of the best skaters since forever but let me buy things like these when we

buy things like this we're taking the jobs of skate there's

Alex Brosco like organ and you like it is what it is so I just have to give my

opinion I don't like again it's an opinion it is

what it is you might not like what I'm saying and I do have lots of friends

rocking these boots and they love it and I respect that but if you think a little

bit deeper in it if you think a little bit about it is my passion that's why

I'm talking about it I guess that's that's why I'm talking and I'm sharing

this opinion with you now I do know that a lot of people love these and I've seen

Claudia Antonio Lee from Switzerland is making like a soleplate for days and

it's amazing it's seriously awesome he loves the schedule why is no one

doing stuff like that for other brands we need that that's what we need if our

industry it's for a lot of people it's like it the lowers that it has mean I

don't believe in that but if you think that's what's happening man make it grow

what are you doing to help it this is one of the ways that I have to help it I

share my opinions I make my own content I try to teach kids how to get back into

skating I share those good moments trying to make you motivate it but what

are you doing like men I don't know what else to say I just want to tell you to

do more like stop buying these stop putting money to the black hole that no

one knows where that black hole is put some money now the industry support

support the ones out there like I said I don't pay that much for skates because

I'm lucky enough to get skates from companies but I still buy my stuff I'll

still buy frames from wish I'll still buy the DVDs when they come out and put

money in our industry it's the only way that we can make this grow so with that

so after this episode guys we are on a 9 week break from super go so this episode

revealed is so much massive of plot point and yes we did kinda find out what

villain on all the CW shows period at the moment because they're giving you an

emotional attachment to Samantha you've finished sois panther Samantha's leaves

in time she's got no idea what's up with her allies crashing down and then

secretly she's the big bad villain that nearly killed super go so I really do

think the actress playing rain and Samantha she is awesome her angry

her angry face is absolutely legendary it's pretty scary so guys let me know in
