Panama Canal Cruise Vlog - Day 3 Sea Day - Duration: 12:13.Today's vlog is brought to you by CruiseLine.com where you can compare prices
from several sites with easy to use cruise search
we're headed to a tour of the bridge nobody allowed but we'll bring you some
stills thanks guys
here is the new menu at slice you can see they've added California toast two
different types their traditional thin crust pizza and then they have Stromboli
which is what husband wanted to try and that's why we're here
and since achacha all right in the back is the Stromboli and then the deep-dish
keeps it right there hello how's it going good alright this is the finished
California toast it looks so good I can't wait to try it
hey cruisers welcome to our first sea day it's actually kind of exciting to
have a port day first princess keys yesterday was so beyond expectations the
weather the beauty of the island the Cabana the friendly staff the white sand
I could go on and on all day it was just heaven on earth so kind of nice to have
a sea day to relax afterward wanted to tell you guys a little bit about what we
are up to today it's been kind of a mellow day so far we've been sleeping
pretty good those princess beds are really really nice and comfortable the
pillows are amazing so we kind of had a slow start to the day I actually did two
loads of laundry before 9 a.m. this morning
I missed a zumba because I was doing laundry we had a wonderful time it had
lunch as a family in the newly renovated buffet which is gorgeous by the way I
really like the way that it's laid out the different little stations that they
have set up up there are just really conducive to filling a little bit less
crowded when you're in a buffet so anyway they don't really fun day my mom
and I actually went to a port talk which I don't normally do all of that often so
we went and learned all about Cartagena learned all about from the shore
excursion desk what types of Tours are offered a little bit about the history
of Cartagena and then we learned a little bit about Panama
we're gonna learn a little more about Panama later but it was kind of a nice
start and they really weren't trying to sell anything at all it wasn't a
shopping talk this is a really nicely paced quick 30-minute port talks I'm
really glad that we did that I feel like I have a little bit more knowledge about
what to expect in Cartagena from the vendors kind of being aggressive to the
fact that it's a really big trafficking city that you don't have to exchange
money there was just so much to learn from that so I'm really glad that we did
it so today is for tonight in this afternoon some things that we have to
look forward to would be the captain's welcome aboard party and the champagne
waterfall which starts at 7:00 well start 7:15 to 8:00 but the captain's
speech is at 7:45 there's also a production show tonight born to be wild
and listen to this you guys in the princess theater they have three
showings of born to be wild so they have one at 6:45 for all the either for the
people who are late diners that want to go to the show beforehand or the people
who went to early dining and are done second showing is at 8:15 and the third
showing is at 10:15 so we're looking forward to formal night tonight
definitely try to get used to this humidity this is definitely different my
hair is loving it but for some reason my skin is not loving it or that or I had a
weird reaction to my sunscreen or something yesterday I'm princess keys
because I'm killing on them Italy gotta blotchy here but a couple of
things that we're really excited about that we wanted to share so far on this
trip will be number one I am so stoked about the carry-on only packing it is so
liberating I do not feel like I have a shortage of items at all I think it was
the best decision we've made I don't know how I'll ever go back it was so
much easier for us and having less stuff is really it's just this really positive
freeing experience so far no yes I did you laundry I had to do laundry because
we went through basically a whole entire load or two laundry in the first few
days but it still just been such a blessing and I think that it's something
we're gonna do again and we'll talk a little bit more about when we get home
from this trip another couple of things that I've found
to be kind of different or important here in this muggy hot weather is having
a hat has been essential for me because I've the sensitive eyes polarized
sunglasses sunscreen all of those things we always talk about for sun protection
have been really critical so that's all I have to say for right now thanks for
joining me on our beautiful balcony with Cuba behind me by the way I don't think
you can see it because it's really far off in the distance but it's there
definitely interesting I didn't expect Cuba to be so mountainous looking but it
really is it's quite dramatic so I'm gonna pop open this beautiful little
bottle of bubbly right now and have my first little drink of the day and we'll
see you a little bit later this afternoon in the ring all right we are
going to the pool for a little afternoon swim and maybe even a cocktail before
formal nights just kind of waited until the Sun was a little bit less intense so
we didn't have to like slather up with massive amounts of sunscreen so we're
gonna go see if it's a little bit less crowded than it was earlier today which
I do Cosmo cosmopolitan so yeah the apt bar back here by the terrace pool is
really shady and nice it's not as hot and human as the center pools right now
so we're kind of finding a little sanctuary here thank you
oh that looks so good goofy Donald I really appreciate it thank you
Donald makes a mean ah smell kind of citrusy Donald it's so good
yeah all right you guys this bear is repeating the asked of the ship on
really hot days is the place to be the breeze back here takes all of that
discomfort of the humidity way and there's just a lot to see and do in a
really mellow quiet environment so right behind me over this way is the terraced
pool down there and that one is adults only and then over to the left is a hot
tub right over here cameramen do you see the hot tub and then just below me is a
plunge pool that my son and I tested out and it is for raising there's also a
little teeny tiny kiddie pool over there which we'll show you in just a second it
looks like it's really cold is it cold son is it cold to the kiddie pool no
it's not really cold so anyway it's just beautiful back here you guys it's um I
just can't emphasize it enough and the bar waiter Donald down there is a real
sweetheart and it's just more tranquil there's not as many people around and
you can tell that this is one of those secrets that if it gets out it's
probably gonna get really crowded different with the cruise but we're
telling you our insiders for now Cheers
a lot we had a great pre-dinner swim in one of
the center pools and met some nice people in the hot tub and now we're up
at Skywalker's having a cocktail and some snacks before our formal night
dinner so hopefully we will catch the champagne waterfall you go see our
dining staff again and see what then I told me but we'll give him catch a show
tonight Oh where's my cocktail oh it's coming it's coming
thank you yes easy sweet all right thank you Julius all right this is the Tito's
old Tito's lemon drop with a video of lemon drop guys is that what it was I
think it was so I asked him I'm just starting to ask people to make things a
little bit less sweet so they've ease up on the simple syrup give it a taste
mmm perfect it's kind of like a combination between a vodka martini and
a lemon drop so it's kind of sweet but kind of strong delicious I love it Oh
and today's drink of the day is the Tito's Lemon Drop I don't know what this
is when I ordered it because $3 and I get to pick my color it's not limoncello
for those of you who saw my live on jello vlog it's some other strong thing
let's see if we can identify it I don't know it tastes like Irish cream mixed
with something stronger like whiskey it's pretty tasty pretty kilo glass - so
anyway welcome to formal night you guys we are enjoying our dinner tonight they
has shrimp and steak and all that good stuff and the head waiter David is
slumping Bananas Foster right in the middle of the dining room so we got to
see that it smells so good in here it smells like flambe bananas everywhere we
are totally enjoying ourselves and guess what tomorrow is tomorrow is
Thanksgiving so we will see you all tomorrow to experience our first ever
Thanksgiving on the high seas
well it's first ba and I already got two loads of laundry Joey
here is how we hamper smirks to my larger bag a little detergent and the
outside wrap it and here is my little pouch that I usually put right in here
your laundry that little token for the washer and dryer in here how you I
wonder just like every other position
$3.00 per wash cycle and dry cycle and a dollar fifty you need detergent our
softeners so when you're ready you just touch the screen you select however many
loads want to do so the token to the same for the Washington dry so if you're
gonna do two loads you're going to need four coins and then you just click on
purchase and then you can swipe their card and you be done with the
transaction and then they have these beautiful products available for washing
so this is already happening guys here's a little look at wonderful clients and
the available cycles of their watch and
so you don't really get to pick like hot water or cold water you just have to go
with whatever's available and hope that is the right one

Was Walt Disney a Nazi? - Duration: 10:53.Walt Disney, the man of a thousand stories.
I'm sure you've heard your share of things about this cartoon mogul from him being a
closeted Nazi, to a currently frozen head in a tank of liquid nitrogen right now.
For just one person, he certainly made a mark in the world.
Let's talk about…
Disney.
Hi, I'm Tristan Johnson, and this is Step Back History.
Be sure to click the subscribe button as well as the bell notification to never miss a new
Step Back video or live stream.
Remember a few videos back when I said this? *clip from Swastika video*
Well, I wanted to follow up on my thrown shade, and for good or ill Walt Disney's a key
figure in cultural history.
He was actually born in Chicago in 1901, but his family moved around a lot throughout his
youth as his father made stabs at farming, delivering newspapers, and working in a jelly
and fruit juice factory.
Walt himself was more of an artist than a student dropped out of high school at age
16, and with a forged birth certificate managed to join the Red Cross Ambulance Corps to aid
the US army in the first World War.
Hey, that rhymes! Disney magic!
He arrived in France to help out… in late 1918, shortly after the signing of the armistice
that ended the First World War.
He helped out with some random tasks before eventually getting a discharge the next year.
He moved to Kansas City after that, hoping to become a newspaper cartoonist.
He quickly became an illustrator for magazine ads, as they didn't use photos all that
much in magazines back then, and did some drawings for movie theatres.
He reportedly enjoyed it but was more interested in animation.
Enter into his life making cartoons.
The most famous mouse in history was born early in the Disney timeline.
After a few successful cartoons based on Alice in Wonderland, he developed an original character
he called Mortimer Mouse.
He eventually decided Mickey would be a better name.
His debut was in the 1928 short film Steamboat Willie and was one of the first cartoons ever
made to have synchronised sound effects.
He was the late 20s version of a viral sensation.
There were Mickey mouse clubs for children, and in the truly American fashion the success
quickly followed up with merchandising and comic strips.
The first voice over for Mickey premiered in 1929 The Karnival Kid.
Mickey's first words were hot dog.
Eventually, Disney decided to voice Mickey himself, which he did until 1947.
His animation company became a massive empire.
He got into feature films with Snow White, and during his life collecting something like
22 Oscars and another 59 nominations.
But Old Walt wanted more.
Disney wanted to start a little theme park near his studio in Burbank, but these plans
became more and more ambitious.
It got to the point where in 1953, he had to hire a team of researchers to find the
perfect place to build a theme park, factoring population growth, weather patterns, and transportation
routes.
They eventually found the home of Disneyland, a 160-acre grove of Orange trees in Anaheim
California.
They broke ground in 1954, and on July 17 a year later Disneyland opened and it was
a… disaster.
There was a surge of counterfeit tickets, leading to too many guests.
Rides broke, the park was unfinished, oh and there was a gas leak that forced part of the
park to close.
The TV broadcast celebrating the park opening even had technical difficulties.
Early jitters aside, Walt Disney loved his park.
He even kept an apartment there.
One of his projects was a utopian city concept.
There was a terrifying angle to what he considered Utopia, but we will talk about that later.
Now, we should discuss how Disney was not some magical creature divorced from his dark
side, nor from historical context.
As many of you have likely heard, the Disney company was involved in creating propaganda
for the United States during the Second World War.
It began with some short educational films, such as a 1942 film "The New Spirit" which
taught people how to file their taxes to support the war effort.
Many of the propaganda films starred Donald Duck and were in thousands of movie theatres.
One even got an academy award nomination.
The education videos turned into military training videos, and Disney also designed
a lot of military insignias.
Disney was initially hesitant to get involved in such a way.
He had built a reputation for himself in such politically divisive times as a non-political
maker of cartoons.
However, he began to come around, producing blatant works of propaganda for the US army
like the probably famous film "Der Fuhrer's Face", a film making fun of Nazis starring
Donald Duck.
He started to take this seriously, producing some pretty terrifying films such as Education
for Death: The Making of a Nazi.
He also became obsessed with a book called Victory Through Air Power and adapted it to
drum up support of the use of long-range strategic bombing.
It apparently worked, getting the attention of both President Roosevelt and British Prime-Minister
Winston Churchill.
I can't show these in this video due to copyright, something else we can blame Disney
for.
If you can go find these wartime Disney films they're quite a surreal watch, and with
no more than a little blatant racism when depicting the Japanese.
Either way, they are quite a fascinating blip in American cultural history.
Here's where we start to see an infamous side of Disney, however.
He criticised a lot of parts of the Nazi ideology through these propaganda films, but one thing
he never criticised was the Nazi regime's antisemitism.
Disney was a very socially conservative man.
He was a staunch capitalist, and despite criticising a lot of Nazi ideology in films like Education
for Death, embodied many of the very things he railed against.
Rumours are still commonplace that Disney was a Nazi, and while it would be unfair without
evidence to call him a Nazi with a capital N, he definitely had aspects of their ideology
in his politics.
The better term would probably be Nazi-sympathizer.
Before the war, there were meetings of people openly supporting and interested in the Nazi
form of government.
These groups were small, but reportedly fiercely loyal and were open to the public.
On a few occasions, Disney and his lawyer Gunther Lessig were spotted in attendance
along with a lot of other of the Nazi-aligned Hollywood elite.
This organisation was the German American Bund, which would eventually become the American
Nazi Party of today.
More on them in my Neo-Nazi video, or my video on hate groups.
I'm getting so sick of Nazis… why did they have to become relevant again?
He also hosted a visit from the Nazi filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl when she came to America
to promote her film Olympia in 1938.
You might remember her if you ever took a film class as the director behind the infamous
Triumph of the Will Nazi propaganda film.
This was only about a month after the notorious Kristallnacht, a night of brutal assaults
on German Jewish businesses and homes.
You could write this off as the west's all too comfortable relationship with the Nazi
regime that we try hard to forget happened, but his peers even criticised Disney for this
act.
Even after the war, this whiff of antisemitism spilt over into his 50s politics.
Amongst the hardcore anti-communists of the red scare, there was a common association
between Jews and communists, which might have fuelled their… enthusiasm for destroying
the lives of anyone a little too far left of centre, but I don't wanna spoil too much
of next week's video… oops! Disney was a full and happy player in Mccarthy's
purges.
He was a member of many of the 50s witch hunting organisations like the Motion Picture Alliance
for the Preservation of American Ideals, which was associated with the infamous House Un-American
Activities Committee.
The former being notorious for it being quietly a very anti semitic organisation.
Some folks like Disney's own grand-niece Meryl Streep have confirmed the Alliance was
an anti semitic industry lobbying group.
Not too surprisingly then, Disney also had… opinions about organised labour.
That utopic city EPCOT he imagined?
It was a place where unions would be illegal, democracy nonexistent, and of course no social
safety net.
All enforced by his own written laws, and a proto-police security force.
It was like a prototype of the gated community.
And this ethos followed into the corporation he created.
In the 1960s, the Disney corporation lobbied to create the Reedy Creek Improvement District,
and the government gave broad authority over it to the Disney corporation.
They to this day have pretty much complete control over the land and do whatever they
want with it.
It's political insulation to protect them from labour regulations and competition.
A true model for the corporatist worldview.
Walt Disney was a longtime smoker, and in 1966 he was diagnosed with lung cancer.
Only a month later, on December 15th he died.
Not long after he died, there was a rumour that he had been cryogenically frozen.
This is actually a myth.
He was cremated, and his ashes are in a mausoleum in California.
The rumour probably persists because the first person to be cryogenically frozen was put
on ice in January of 1967, just a month after Disney's death.
A history of cryogenic freezing that might be a fun video.
If only I had a know your sci-fi series…
Today, Disney is a massive corporation, and frequently lobbies governments to change policy
to their will.
The US's extremely long-term for copyright being an example, or the fact that Disney
just flat out bought up a ton of Fox's properties in the not too distant past without the word
antitrust flying anywhere.
In many ways, the corporation Disney made with his values is responsible for a lot of
the corporate dominance in the United States today.
It's also responsible for a lot, and I mean like a METRIC FUCKTON of our cultural masonry.
It's as ingrained a part of America as apple pie, burgers, and for-profit medicine.
Welcome to the end!
I wanna thank Cody from the Alternate History Hub for making the Disney voices for this

Pike the Markhor | Buzzly's Buddies | Everest VBS - Duration: 2:15.Thanks for watching Lifetree Kids!
It's another day at Everest VBS.
That means you get to meet another buddy: me!
I'm Pike, king of the mountain.
I'm a marvelous mountain goat called a markhor.
High mountains?
Rocky peaks?
That's nothing for our sturdy feet.
Markhors are right at home way up on the rocky Himalayan cliffs.
But I'm sure you're not admiring my fabulous feet.
It's these gorgeous, curly, majestic horns that get attention.
These spiraling spectacles can grow nearly as tall as you.
Our horns come in handy when we need to fight for home and territory.
If you get too close, these could really hurt you.
Now, you may not have amazing weaponry like a
markhor, but sadly people do knock heads.
Sometimes people hurt each other.
They say mean words.
They do wrong things.
Those wrong things hurt God's heart.
They keep you from having a friendship with him.
But God loves you, and his love is mighty.
He sent his son, Jesus, to pay for all the sharp, mean, wrong things you do.
In the Bible, the book of Nehemiah chapter 9, verse 17 says, "But you are a God of
forgiveness."
God's love is so powerful. God will forgive those hurtful, wrong things.
All you have to do is ask.
You can trust that God has the power to forgive.

5 creepy haunted locations around the world - Duration: 7:04.Doll possession. Vengeful ghosts. Nazis. And portals that lead straight to hell.
All that and more coming up on five creepy haunted locations around the world.
Fans of the show Supernatural might remember this Kansas cemetery from the explosive season five finale.
But many don't realize it's a real place and allegedly the home of a portal to hell.
According to legend, the portal is located inside the ruins of an old church inside the cemetery grounds.
If you go to the church ruins at midnight on Halloween, you can enter the portal and might even come face to face with the devil himself.
This abandoned mining town in Chile takes things a step up from ordinary ghosts (though there are plenty of those as well).
The ruins of the local cemetery are so desecrated, the coffins lay in the open, exposing skeletons to the elements.
Legend has it the corpses rise from their graves every night to wander the town. Most of the La Nori's dead were too poor in life to justify robbing their graves.
Do their bodies lay open due to erosion and bad weather? Or is the real explanation more sinister?
Most castles have been around long enough to develop some sort of legend or haunting.
But when Houska Castle was built in the Czech Republic in the 1200's, it was allegedly to cover up…that's right, another portal to hell.
This supposed portal was a bottomless pit that locals said demonic creatures climbed out of at night to terrorize the living. Reports of otherworldly creatures continue on the castle grounds today.
To add some real world horror, the castle was used by Hitler and the Nazis during World War II.
Whatever they did there is left up to speculation, though unless they fell into the portal and got a head start to hell, the results can't be good.
If you were traumatized by Chucky as a child, you may want to avoid this Mexican island.
In the 1950's, Don Julian Santana Barrera abandoned his family and moved to the island, becoming its sole inhabitant.
One day, he discovered the body of a girl on the shore and, a few days later, a doll washed up next to where her body had been.
He thought the doll belonged to the girl and hung it on a tree branch to honor her spirit…or perhaps to appease it.
Barrera continued to collect dolls salvaged from debris around the island, stringing them up in trees and using them to barter with visitors, many of whom thought Barrera was possessed by the dolls.
Barrera died in 2001 under mysterious circumstances, and to this day legends persist that the dolls lure people to the island, looking for new bodies to possess.
In the 1300's, this island off the coast of northern Italy was used as a quarantine for dying plague victims.
In the 1920's, a mental hospital was built on the grounds. Patients reported seeing and hearing strange things, but their claims were ignored by their doctors.
But the doctors of Poveglia Island were more than just dismissive.
One particular one performed lobotomies and other gruesome experiments in the hospital's bell tower, until he fell to his death in the grass below. Fell…or was pushed by vengeful spirits.
Today, the island is property of the Italian government, who are looking for someone to lease it to but have so far failed.
Fishermen avoid the area around the island for fear of scooping up human bones in their nets.
And, while access is banned to the public, those who do sneak onto the island report hearing disembodied voices, strange knocks, and the ringing of the tower bell that was removed years ago.
So those are some of my favorite haunted locations from around the globe, but what are yours?
Let me know in the comments below, and have a creepy day!

Dirty Bomb: Phantom's Rework - Duration: 3:42.It's time for Phantom, to get some changes.
ooooOOOOooOOooOOOOO
We know you wanna know, so here's Faraleth
to give you a run down on what's happening to our boy Phantom.
Phantom has always been one of our more polarising Mercs, often being fun to play as, but frustrating
to play against and limited in viability compared to other Mercs.
With these changes we aim to keep Phantom's core characteristics and gameplay, but improve
his tool-set to be more effective in utility and team-play.
Firstly, his EMP is no longer a constant aura.
Instead, Phantom can activate a pulse while cloaked once it has fully charged, giving
him have the element of surprise.
However, if he doesn't activate the EMP while cloaked, it will automatically trigger
upon decloaking.
He is now also completely invisible while cloaked, allowing him get behind enemy lines
much easier.
To ensure his invisibility isn't annoying to be on the receiving end of, he has a short
decloaking period before he can attack, giving enemies a chance to respond.
He's also received small adjustments across-the-board, such as the removal of his Refractive Suit's
armour due to his now total invisibility and a small base health increase.
These changes should see Phantom become a much more viable pick to successfully get
behind enemy lines and disrupt their positioning.
Ranked is going to see a lot of refreshing going forward.
We want to swap things up in there regularly so week on week it's fresh and new.
This is kicking off in the next update where we'll be:
Adding two Ranked Weapon Skin Cases which will initially be available for two weeks
Making Javelin available to play Removing Terminal
And removing Phantom Both Phantom and Terminal are being removed
due to their re-works coming to the game.
And they'll be added back to Ranked once it's confirmed they're performing well.
Threads pop up now and then discussing Server Browser match balance, so we decided to ask
you how you'd like us to improve it.
There was two options available, each with their upsides and downsides.
First off pre-match shuffling which would balance the teams just before loading the
map, but wouldn't let you know what team you are on until after selecting your Mercs, and
post-match shuffling which balances the teams before the Merc selection step.
So far pre-match shuffling has been winning since the poll was created and we'll continue
to see how the votes go over the next few days.
Once there are a good number of votes we'll let you know our plans going forward.
This week we're taking a look at Ryhon as they've been putting DB under the microscope.
Those of you who are eagle eyed may have noticed a few easter eggs in the game, and they've
managed to find a ton of them. Enjoy
For these reported issues, we want to start getting a bit more granular with the issues
you've been reporting across our social channels, forums and reddit.
Reported issues this week included Server Browser Balance, Explosives vs Proxy Mines
and Communication For Server Browser Balance we've had a look
at ways to improve it and we're putting it to you to decide so please, head to the forums
and cast your vote.
For Explosives vs Proxy Mines we know this is a proper pain and we're gonna see if we
can get it fixed up for you.
And for Communication, we would love to tell you everything we're working on, but plans
can and often do change.
We've learned from the past the best option is to wait until features are finalised before
announcing the full details.
We're going to continue using this method for now, but at the same time try and give
you more insights into what's going on.
Go on, give us a sub.
Hunter information is just around the corner.

Luffy's New Gear Fourth Form: SnakeMan - One Piece Manga Chapter 894 Review - Duration: 7:22.You know that the chapter will be great when Rayleigh is in it.
I am really happy with this chapter, Oda did answer some of the questions and now things
have started to make more sense.
Especially about this fight between Luffy and Katakuri.
So, Rayleigh did spend a lot of time teaching Luffy about Haki, after the timeskip he said
that I only taught you the basic levels of Haki.
But with the information that we got in this chapter and also in that previous flashback
now we know what Rayleigh really meant.
You cannot develop your Haki in training, but you can learn the basics of it.
The other thing that Rayleigh did reveal in this chapter is that you can sense even people's
feelings and this is also part of observation Haki.
I always said in my previous videos that there is a lot more to Haki than what we already
know, and now little by little, we are learning new stuff.
I think that Rayleigh just confirmed that the reason why Roger and Luffy were able to
hear the voices of the seakings is due to their Observation Haki.
So, hearing the voices of all things is not some kind of special ability but just a type
of advanced observation Haki.
I said earlier that Oda did answer some of the questions about this fight between Luffy
and Katakuri and I am really glad that he did so.
Because it did seem like Luffy will win this fight and the reason why he will win it will
be because he is the main character.
But now Oda went into more details and things are making more sense.
In this chapter, Luffy was able to see a little bit into the future but he is still not on
Katakuri's level.
Luffy was able to dodge Katakuri's attack but Katakuri saw that he will dodge that attack
and when Luffy was charging at him Katakuri did attack him again and this time his attack
did manage to hit Luffy.
And the other thing that we can understand that Luffy is not on Katakuri's level is
that Luffy can see into the future only when he is staying still.
The moment that Luffy did charge at Katakuri he could not see the second attack and that
why he got hit.
So, right now the difference between Luffy and Katakuri when it comes to observation
haki is that Katakuri can use it all time during the battle while Luffy cannot.
But to understand better how hard is to use your observation haki to see a little bit
into the future during the battle without a practicing a lot.
We just need to look at Katakuri.
A few chapters ago when he was not calm he could not use his observation Haki, even though
he has experience.
Katakuri is 48 years old.
So, this is why Luffy could not see that second attack, but with time he will get better.
If you have watched my previous reviews I said that Oda cannot give Luffy the same observation
Haki as Katakuri's just like that.
So, now the question is what did change?
Why I am happy with this now!
Well, there are a couple of reasons.
First of all, Luffy is not getting the same observation haki as Katakuri as we saw in
this chapter.
Second: Luffy did train his haki for two years, this is what Rayleigh said in this chapter.
Because prior to this it did seem like Luffy has no idea what advanced observation Haki
is.
But this was not the case, Rayleigh told him about observation haki and did try to teach.
Third: we know that the rarest of haki is the King's haki and Luffy has that, but
not just that Luffy goes beyond that.
As Rayleigh said that he is able to sense people's feelings which is a lot harder
than trying to predict your opponent's attacks.
So, the potential was there, to begin with, but Luffy did not know how to utilize it.
And Rayleigh said that the more intense the battle the more your haki will get better.
So, Luffy is not getting this new power up out of nowhere or he is getting just because
his opponent has it and Oda is trying to make the battle more even.
The process of Luffy having advanced Haki has started before the timeskip and this is
why I am totally ok with this and it does make sense.
One other thing that caught my attention is when Rayleigh said: "Among the most powerful
people in the world, there are those who can see a small glimpse of the future".
So based on what Rayleigh said it seems like Katakuri is one of the strongest people in
the world?
This was very interesting but not surprising to me if you did watch that theory about Katakuri
you know what I am talking about.
If you did not, I will put the link in the description.
Besides learning about Haki in this chapter we also did learn about the power of the devil
fruits.
Katakuri did use his arm as a rocket and he was able to regenerate instantly.
We know that he has awakened his devil fruit but this seems quite impressive and I don't
know if any other paramecia devil fruit can do this even if they are awakened.
Perospero did the same but his arm did look like candy and not flesh and blood.
But Katakuri's arm looks like his real arm.
But there could be a reason for this, a few chapters ago Katakuri told Luffy that the
reason why your attacks have no effect on my body.
Is because I can see the future and I know where that attack will land so I turn that
part of my body to mochi.
And what you are hitting is not my body but the mochi that I can create with my devil
fruit.
So, it could be that Katakuri did turn his arm to mochi and then launch it towards Luffy.
And that's why Perospero did lose his arm because he did not know what will happen and
that's why he did not turn his arm into candy before the explosion did hit him.
And then go to Capone's ship, and we did learn that Capone does not plan to kill Big
Mom but just to send the cake on that Island.
And escape while Big Mom will forget about them and go after the cake.
In the previous chapter, it seems like they still want to kill Big Mom and I was wondering
if they plan to do that then how will they escape.
But that question was answered in this chapter.
And the other thing that Oda did explain was why Big Mom does ride on Zeus, so the bigger
the Prometheus gets the slower he is.
And I don't think this is the case with Zeus.
And then we see that Pudding is still helping the Straw Hats, if they can find a way into
the mirror world and take Luffy with them and go to the sunny then things will get a
lot easier for them.
But what about Katakuri will Luffy be able to defeat him?
Luffy thinks that he can, and the reason why he does think so, is Gear Fourth SnakeMan.
So, in this arc, we will get to see the third form of Gear Fourth.
The name sounds really weird, but one thing that we can get out of the name is that it
will not be a defensive form like it was the Tank-Man.
I think it will be an offensive form and that's why Luffy does think that he can end this
fight.
But what will Luffy look like in this form?
Will he resemble a snake?
I think Luffy will use the techniques of the snake and this way he maybe can eliminate
the advantage that Katakuri has on him.
Here's how: A snake kills his opponent by wrapping his
body around their opponent's body.
If Luffy will do the same to Katakuri, then his observation Haki will become useless.
Because he cannot do anything to free himself and this is how Luffy can win this fight.
Katakuri probably will lose consciousness and Luffy will go.
It could be that at that time Sanji will come and will take Luffy and go to the sunny
But do you guys think will happen?
And what did you think about this chapter?

Mortgage Rundown: February 8, 2018 - Duration: 3:09.Hello everyone and welcome back to the Mortgage Rundown.
Today we are going to talk what's happening with interest rates.
As you've seen over the past month interest rates have gone up over 40bps and there has
been a lot of volatility in the stock market as well.
It might feel like there is no end to the rise in interest rates as they are now up
almost 75bps since July.
Recall the Fed raised interest rates 3 times in 2017 and are expected to raise rates three
more times in 2018.
You combine that with the passage of the Trump tax cuts and it created an environment very
bullish for stocks and very bearish for bonds.
What has happened in the stock and bond markets was very predictable.
In the past 12 months, major stock indices are up at least 25-30% without any sort of
correction.
This week however has been a very different story with stocks dropping 8-10% from their
highs and the volatility intraday at its highest level in the past three years.
However it's important to take a step back and look at the broader market historically
that even with the recent downturn the Dow Jones Industrial Average is still up 40% over
the past 2 years.
As far as rates are concerned take a look at the following graph which shows the 10yr
Treasury over the past 25 years.
This has become a very popular chart for some analysts to show that the 10yr has broken
through the long term trend line in red and therefore rates are going to rise rapidly.
This simply is not the case.
First off you can draw a trend line just about wherever you want and pick whatever time period
you want.
In terms of breaking the trend the answer is 'absolutely yes'.
Interest rates are no longer continuing to fall, that trend is very likely over.
But that doesn't mean they are going to rise back to levels not seen in decades.
It's important to remember that inflation is still very low and we are not in an environment
of rising interest rates.
What you may and likely will see however is volatility.
Remember that one of the big drivers of the stock market has been low interest rates.
Low bond yields generally chase investors into the stock market.
With bond yields rising, money will likely flow from stocks to bonds, which will keep
bond yields from rising further.
With the 10yr near 2.80% today it's still very possible that it can move up to 3.0%
but I wouldn't bet it will rise much higher.
In the coming weeks you should keep an eye on the following items:
What will be the new range on the 10yr be (perhaps 2.60 to 3.00%)?
More inflation data, will it catapult rates higher or ground them back below 2.50%
And last, the impact of tax reform.
How much will it impact the economy?

Thanks for watching and have a great day.

PHANTOM THREAD Without Spoilers | OSCARS 2018 - Duration: 4:10.Welcome Brave! I'm Noah from the Ice Room.
Continuing with the candidates for the best film for the 2018 Oscars,
this time we are going to analyze ... 'Phantom Thread'.
You can sew almost anything in the interlining of a coat. You are beautiful ... beautiful!
There are things I want to do and I can not do them without you ...
Film directed and written by Paul Thomas Anderson, with music by Jonny Greenwood and with
Photograph by Paul Thomas Anderson. Therefore, we are
before a very personal, authentically special work. In the cast
we found the great Daniel Day-Lewis, winner of 3 Oscars:
'My left foot: The story of Christy Brown', 'Lincoln' and 'There will be blood'.
We continue with the beautiful Vicky Krieps and, with the magnificent, Lesley Manville.
And, in the synopsis I will tell you always without spoilers, that we move to
London 1950, in which Reynolds Woodcock and his sister Cyril, dress the
royalty, to the highest sphere, why? because they are the ones in charge of the
Woodcock clothing firm. Let's say you have a very very life
square, very systematized, has as a shell made on it to
that nobody knows how it is. This happens to many people in today's society
day and it's very funny because you can extrapolate a bit. It's a kind of
satire too. Then I will tell you a very important curiosity. But hey, you
I comment because, with this life so so planned that nothing can come out ...
they do not escape their control, from Reynolds Woodcock.
We talk about that he suddenly meets Vicky Krieps who plays Alma, and
he becomes his muse, apart from his ... good becomes something,
a very important piece. Remind you that I'm not doing spoilers.
From here life will change to a few levels quite a lot
different to which he was accustomed. And I like it a lot because I
I consider it: "Perversely Beautiful". Stay with this expression,
"Perversely Beautiful", really, I think it's a very interesting movie.
Maybe it's slow, with a very slow rhythm, but with the interpretations
we enjoy, and they take us by the hand, and they take us to a ... the truth is that the path that
we travel in the 2 hours that lasts the movie is pleasant and we see things
very interesting. As curiosities I'll tell you several.
The first is that it is based on the life of the famous Spanish designer Balenciaga.
The second is that all the garments that
they are seen in the film are handmade ... and one of them was taken out of one piece
of flamenco lace ... of flamenco lace from the 18th century ... very curious! Good...
What did you think about this movie? to know that this one ... for the Golden Globes was
nominated for best film and best actor. Well tell me, please, if you have
seen, tell me if you think you can be the winner for best movie in these Oscars 2018.
If not, as I always tell you, leave me in comments your ranking with the 3
better than you consider. If you do not win a better movie, do you think you can win a band?
sound or better actor? Because the truth that the 2 things are
amazing The soundtrack I say because during the footage, I think 90%
from the movie, they are telling us with beautiful piano music. Really
pretty. Well ... I recommend you see it, it has
liked the movie I understand that it is a slow movie, which is not for
everybody because there are people who look for things more ... let's say more ... easier
to digest. But this is very very interesting. That said, thank you very much. Leave me
everything you want in comments and ... we see each other, or we hear each other, as long as
you want Braves. Ciao Ciao! Mua! xxx

Bill Warner PhD: A Refresher Talk on Political Islam - Duration: 6:19.(ominous music)
Hello, I would like to talk to you about Islam,
but in particular,
I would like to talk to you about political Islam
and explain to you why the religion of Islam
is of no concern to you, unless you're a Muslim.
But let's ask a more basic question,
is there some way that we can use
rational, fact-based reasoning on Islam?
Because notice carefully that the current methods
are very subjective.
How do people learn about Islam?
Well, they go to an expert
and this expert hopefully is a Muslim
and then they tell 'em what Islam is,
but notice something, you get the answer
about what Islam is, depending on who you ask,
if you ask a Jihadist, you get one answer,
if you ask a professional engineer at work,
you get another answer, so this method is subjective
and I want to propose to you,
that there is a completely objective way
to answer all questions about Islam.
Now then, the most important question
to ask about Islam is, what is Islam?
No, it is not a religion found in the Quran,
well, a little of that's true,
but actually, Islam is a complete way of life,
it is a complete civilization, it is a religion,
it's a political system, it's a culture,
it's a civilization
and there's no act so small as a human being,
that Islam doesn't have something to say about it.
So, what is Islam?
Well, let's begin with what every Muslim knows,
there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger,
this is called the Shahada
and where do we find Allah?
Well, we find Allah in the Quran,
but there's something peculiar about the Quran,
it does not contain enough information
to practice the Five Pillars of Islam.
However, there's a trapdoor built into the Quran
and it's the 91 verses, that say that Muhammad
is the perfect pattern of a divine life.
So, where do we find Muhammad?
Because if we're going to imitate Muhammad,
we need to know Muhammad.
Muhammad is found in The Sira, his biography
and in the Hadith, his traditions.
So, Islam is the doctrine found in the Quran,
the Sira and the Hadith,
if it is in the Quran, the Sira and the Hadith, it is Islam,
equally important, if something is said to be Islam,
but it can't be found inside the Quran,
the Sira, and the Hadith, it is not Islam.
So, Islam is Muhammad and the Quran or Muhammad and Allah,
so if you're speaking with the voice of Muhammad
or the voice of Allah, then you're talking about Islam.
Now there's something sort of peculiar about this,
the Quran and the Sira, the Hadith
are mostly about the non-Muslim, the kafir,
someone like myself and possibly you,
the part that deals with the kafir is,
I call it, political Islam, why?
Because the Quran is defined
as being completely outside of the religion,
so if you're not a Muslim
and the Quran is concerned with you,
it is not because you're a Muslim,
but because you're just a human being.
Now then, ways to talk about religious Islam,
you'll notice that it involves Paradise and Hell,
whereas the political Islam
is about how to treat the kafir
and what does the Quran say about the kafir?
That the kafir is lower than an animal,
filthy, cursed, mocked,
can be enslaved, tortured and deceived
and, yes, even raped.
My most unfavorite part of the Quran
is the part, 12 verses that say
that a Muslim is never the true friend to the kafir.
Now then, if you're going to talk about Islam,
we have to talk about the tricky part,
which is the confusion, because everyone's heard this,
everyone's heard a good thing about Islam
and a bad thing about Islam
and so the question comes up, what is the real Islam?
Well, the clue is this, it's found in Muhammad's career,
after he became the messenger of Allah,
he preached the religion of Islam
for 13 years in Mecca and converted about 150 people,
then he went on to Medina,
where he became a politician and a Jihadist.
Now then, Muhammad preached the religion of peace
and converted 150 people,
but as a Jihadist and a politician,
he was a complete triumph, so what is Islam?
Well, it is the religion of peace and the verses of Jihad,
so that's what it is,
it is both items,
there's two Qurans,
the Meccan Quran, which is very religious
and the Medinan Quran, written later,
which is all about Jihad and politics,
let's be clear, there is no Jihad in Mecca,
but 24% of the Quran written in Medina is about Jihad,
Jihad is a systemic doctrine, it's not about a verse or two,
so Islam always has two meanings
and this is very convenient, because it gets what it wants.
Now then, let's talk about Jihad a bit,
because it's confusing,
Jihad is not Holy War, Jihad comes in four flavors,
Jihad of the Sword, Speech, Writing and Money,
now let's be clear, Jihad is not meaning war,
it means struggle.
Jihad uses pressure in all areas,
food, migration, headscarves, education
and the fact that you're not allowed to criticize Islam,
so Jihad is pure political Islam,
Jihad is political action,
designed to install a new civilization,
based on Islamic principles, Sharia principles.
So there is an objective way to talk about Islam,
as long as you're listening to one of two experts,
Muhammad or Allah,
Islam is both a religion of peace
and the politics of Jihad,
which one is the real one?
They're both equally real.
The religion of Islam is only important to Muslims,
but the politics of Islam are important to all peoples,
my advice to you is don't discuss Muslims,
but instead, talk about Muhammad and Allah.
We're involved in a civilizational war,
our civilization is based on critical thought
and a unitary ethic, the unitary ethic
is that all people should be treated as equal,
Islam does not have those two principles,
it has the authoritative thought,
instead of critical thought
and it practices dualistic ethics,
instead of unitary ethics,
the ethical system depends on who you are
as to how you're treated.
We can and must defeat political Islam,
the religion of Islam is of no consequences to you,
unless you're a Muslim,
this is a war of ideas and civilizations
and there can be no compromise,
our very existence depends
on us asserting our ideas and our ideals.
Thank you.

People Learn The Splits In Two Weeks - Duration: 6:46.- It seems like you would be able
to do the splits in just a few weeks
but it's really not that simple.
(upbeat music)
- Full disclosure, I am not very flexible at all.
These are, like, skinny stretch jeans.
I feel like I'm about as stiff as they come.
(grunting)
This is about as far as I can go right now.
- I feel like flexible people can save lives
'cause they can, like, flexibly move into little spaces.
All right, this hurts right here.
- I want to be able to do the splits
because I want that flexibility back.
(chuckles) Honestly, I think this is as far as I can go.
I wanna feel those muscles stretch.
(laughs)
Oh, okay, no that hurts. Yup, right there.
- My goal is to do better than this.
And to actually hit this down here.
- Each morning and each night we're gonna be
doing some stretches to increase our flexibility
so that at the end of this challenge--
- I can do the dream splits that I've always wanted to do.
- Okay, guys, let's do some stretches.
- We have to do ten minutes of stretching every morning.
- Today's the first day where I'm going to try
and use these bands so I can learn how to do the splits.
This smells so weird.
- So I have to do a lunge, a leg stretch,
a standing stretch, and then try for the split.
Slide your front foot forward, lean back,
and slowly lower yourself to the ground.
We're supposed to be doing ten minutes of stretching.
I'm trying to hold it, but I'm gonna tell you what,
it hurts a lot.
- Stretching kind of hurts sometimes
and they always tell you in stretching videos,
like, "Stretch into the pain, breath into the pain."
Flexibility is hard, man. Uh!
But sometimes you're just, like, this pain...
Feel the burn, breathe into it.
...is, like, a lot and I don't wanna do this anymore.
- You can tell how out of shape I am
when, literally, just a stretch hurts.
A lot of spreading of the legs,
a lot of bending over,
a lot of putting your legs on top of things.
At first, it hurt a lot to stretch as much
as it needed you to, for like, every single morning
but, the more and more I got into it,
the better and easier it was.
- One of the funny stretches that I really like
is, like, doing it up against the wall.
And then you put your butt as close to the wall as possible.
Mom, are you proud of me?
- I also went to Barre class.
So you do the workout, you do a stretch at the end,
and the stretch feels incredible after a workout.
I'm gonna go home and I'm gonna see if I can do
the split with my muscles super toasty.
I can't go any farther. All right!
We're supposed to be doing a split in the next week
and I still feel like I barely made progress.
- I think it's just, like, kind of midway was
a little bit of a mental challenge and a mental hurdle.
It's early and I'm supposed to do these stretches,
but I don't want to.
But you gotta push through,
you gotta make yourself as flexible as possible.
I don't wanna do the stretches.
- Keep the post for 25 to 35 seconds,
all the time focusing on your breathing.
We have, like, one more week and I've gotta be able
to do that split in the next week.
I imagine some day soon
I'll be able to move my knee to my nose.
- It feels good to stretch.
There's something to it.
I feel like I can touch my toes a little bit easier now,
which is a good sign.
I used to not be able to touch my toes at all.
- These stretches, I kind of did it as a way,
almost like meditation, so it was kind of, like,
my morning wake up, kind of stretch.
Send help.
- My fiance was definitely a little annoyed
at my stretching because I kept doing it while
we were watching TV and I'd, like,
kick my leg in front of the TV.
Stretch.
That was the best time to stretch for me!
I might as well make some use out of my time.
- A big set back for me was an injury.
I had a knee injury.
I actually ran the New York City Marathon
and halfway through the marathon my knee kind of gave out.
Mile 12, my knee hurts.
And there's no one cheering, and my knee hurts still.
Geez!
This is not exactly going the way I wanted it to
but I'm gonna finish this damn marathon.
It was a little bit painful for about a week
but it also affected my stretching for splits.
My knees hurt really bad, so I'm a have to ice 'em.
If you have an injury it's always good to, like,
stretch it out, loosen it up,
and kind of makes it heal quicker.
- Okay, now, less pressure.
Oh my God, I still got, like, six inches to go down.
- [Man] You're pretty close though.
- You think so?
- [Man] Yeah.
- I definitely think I became more flexible, yeah.
I know I can reach my toes a lot better now.
- I think there's probably a 25% chance
of success for me to do the split.
- Maybe, like, the performance pressure
will help me do a split.
Oh! Where's that at?
It's better already.
The stretching I've done has made me more flexible.
I guess let's try that dream split
that I've never been able to do, ever, in my life.
♪ Come on, let's do it ♪
I think this just goes to show that
I need to more fully commit to things.
I think I should've been stretching more.
- [Hal] Ready?
(grunting)
- [Woman] Oh my god!
- [Hal] Yes!
- [Woman] You did it!
- Flexibility man!
Feels good to improve by three inches.
I wanna be lower to the ground
and I want to have straighter legs.
So that's what I'm going for.
(grunting) Oh, God.
That's about as low as I can go,
but I feel strong and I feel better.
- But I definitely think I can at least push past this time.
- [Woman] Yeah.
- 22? I kicked this thing's ass!
I don't know about doing the splits, still.
Stretching over is a little bit different
than, like, spreading your legs apart.
Now I know the proper form.
So you kind of have to go into a lunge
and then slowly and gradually make your way down,
instead of just, like, popping right into it.
So let's try.
(laughs)
- [Woman] Oh my God! You, wow!
- Wow! Yeah, I just surprised myself.
(happy piano and guitar music)
This feels so weird.
(exhales) Oh, yeah. (laughs)
It gave me the confidence to feel a lot more flexible.
Like, I can definitely do it.
I can kick the face if I really need to (chuckles).
So I think that's the best takeaway from this.
- If you're trying to do a split, be diligent.
Like, you actually have to do the stretches
to gain some flexibility.
- Seeing my progress, like, in numbers
has helped me be, like,
"You know what I think I can actually do this."
- If you're starting out from kind of an
inflexible standpoint, it'll probably take you,
like, a good three or four months
before you'll be able to do a split.
But I do see improvement!
- So stretching consistently does make you more flexible.
It's just about how consistent you are with the stretching.
- Yeah, check my social media.
I'll post if I'm able to do a split in the next few months.
(happy piano and guitar music)
