Elsewhere around the world, an older, wiser leader is chosen by the people of Mexico fed

up with corruption.

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador beat his two main rivals in the official "quick count" from

a national sampling of ballots.

Hong Yoo gets us better acquainted with the man set to be the country's first left-wing

president in almost a century.

After 89 years of rule, Mexico's conservative PRI party is expected to relinquish the presidency

to left-wing politician from the PT party, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

An official "quick count" from a national sampling of ballots showed about 53 percent

of the vote cast went to Lopez Obrador.

After running for president twice in the past, he finally won a resounding victory Sunday

night in Mexico's presidential election.

This marks the first time that a left-wing candidate will become president of Mexico

since the country started transitioning to democracy.

One local polling agency Parametria, expects Obrador to take 53 to 59 percent of the votes

and another local poll, Consulta Mitofsky, expects 43 to 49 percent of votes to go to

Obrador.

His main opponent, Ricardo Anaya, a moderate candidate, is expected to take 19 to 25 percent

of the votes.

Anaya, and ruling party candidate Jose Antonia Meade, who came third in the polls, accepted

their defeat and offered their congratulations.

The shift of political power from the conservatives to liberals comes after Mexicans' disappointment

over corruption, violence, and inequality.

Obrador was the former mayor of Mexico City, but his promises to put an end to corruption,

establish a Ministry of Public Safety, and renegotiate NAFTA, helped him earn the people's

votes.

He emphasized 'honest poverty and sharing' by declaring that he will reduce his presidential

salary to half its normal amount and offering to live in his own house instead of the presidential

palace.

U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted his congratulations to Lopez Obrador on Sunday night, saying "I

look very much forward to working with him.

There is much to be done that will benefit both the United States and Mexico "

A total of three thousand, four hundred positions were contested and 89 million people voted.

The new president is to be inaugurated on December 1st.

Kim Jong-un visits factories near border with China - Duration: 2:00.

Kim Jong-un visited a number of sites in Sindo-gun and Sinuiju... areas near the North Korean

border with China.

This follows his visit to Beijing in June,.... where the regime's leader toured a number

of major industrial facilities.

For more on the significance of the inspections, we turn to our Kan Hyeong-woo.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un made his first public appearances after his trip to Beijing.

He visited Sindo-gun County and Sinuiju in North Korea's northwestern Pyonganbuk-do Province,...

near the border with China.

According to the North's state-run Korean Central News Agency ,Kim looked around a large-scale

reed farm in Sindo-gun County and made on-site inspections of two textile plants... and a

cosmetics factory in Sinuiju.

It's reported that Kim expressed dissatisfaction about the plants and the workers.

He said that they're not living up to Sinuiju's (QUOTE UNQUOTE)"proud tradition" and urged

them to increase productivity.

His constant message in all three places he visited was "modernization."

"So, mass production is what North Korea considers as 'modernization'.

But you need to first check the facilities of old factories in North Korea to modernize.

In other words, Kim Jong-un is going to put all-out efforts into economic development."

There's also speculation that Kim Jong-un's visit can be interpreted as a move aimed at

developing economic ties with China... as his recent on-site inspections follow his

visit to Beijing in June and these areas all share borders with China.

His tour included a stop at Hwangkumpyong, an island where the North and China had agreed

to develop a special economic zone back in 2011 before the project was stalled following

the execution of Kim's uncle Jang Song-thaek in 2013.

China has been implementing the United Nations' sanctions on North Korea, but after the North

Korea-U.S. summit and Kim's visit to China, Beijing recently raised the need to ease sanctions.

Nước Nào đang Chia Sẻ Dữ Liệu Tình Báo với Trung Quốc? | Trung Quốc Không Kiểm Duyệt - Duration: 6:08.

On this episode of China Uncensored,

when sharing high-level government intelligence,

keep your friends close,

but your enemies closer.

Wait, that's a terrible idea.

Who came up with that?

Hi, welcome to China Uncensored,

I'm your host Chris Chappell.

In our top story,

there could be major ongoing intelligence leaks

among English-speaking countries.

And guess who's to blame?

There's something called the Five Eyes.

No, it's not a group of exotic Batman villains from the 1970s.

Or a terrible '90s boy band.

It's actually an intelligence network that was set up in 1955

between the United States, Canada,

the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

These five countries routinely share sensitive intelligence—

on everything from [BLEEP] to [BLEEP]

What'd you expect?

It's highly sensitive information!

But there could be a leak...

from within New Zealand.

And I'm not talking about it's delicious dairy.

The leak is what former CIA China expert Peter Mattis

talked about when he testified last month

before the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission.

He suggest that maybe New Zealand

ought to be kicked out of the boy band

formerly known as the Five Eyes.

Then terrorists and evil regimes would be left to tremble

before the might...of the intelligence network - Four Eyes.

Just try and take our lunch money.

So what's the possible leak within New Zealand intelligence?

Well, this is China Uncensored, so you guessed it:

It's Russia.

Haha, no, it's the Chinese Communist Party.

They've gotten very close to

or inside New Zealand's political core.

One example is Jian Yang,

a New Zealand Member of Parliament.

He's a New Zealand citizen now,

but when he lived in China,

he just so happened to train Chinese spies

at a top military university.

Don't worry, he's totally not a spy himself.

Now when that story broke last year...

well, the New Zealand government did nothing.

Jian Yang remained a member of parliament.

And China expert Peter Mattis is concerned

New Zealand's former prime minister Bill English

routinely briefed Jian Yang

on sensitive China-related intelligence—

intel that may have ended up on the desks

of Chinese Communist Party officials.

As for current Prime Minister,

her party has accepted donations that may be

linked to the Communist Party.

Mattis points out the level of Communist Party

infiltration in Australia is also similar to New Zealand.

But he did not recommend Australia be kicked out.

That's because Australia has been responding to the problem,

while New Zealand has denied there's any problem at all.

Don't worry,

we might not be stuck with four-eyed intelligence.

Mattis suggests that New Zealand could be replaced by Japan.

And they'd bring to the table giant robots.

And tentacles.

Hmmm...maybe let's skip the tentacles.

Speaking of giving sensitive information

to the Chinese Communist Party—

Facebook.

At this point it should come as no surprise that

Facebook sells an incredible amount of user data.

But it may surprise you that Facebook even went so far

as sharing that data with at least four Chinese companies.

One of them is Huawei, the Chinese telecommunications firm

owned by a former engineer in the People's Liberation Army,

and that gets billions of dollars from the Chinese Communist Party.

US Intelligence agencies have been very concerned

about Huawei and the security risk they pose.

Since at least 2012 in fact.

Facebook, though: Not very concerned.

Their data sharing agreements with Chinese companies

have been in place since at least 2010.

And apparently, are still in place.

"The four partnerships remain in effect,

but Facebook officials said in an interview

that the company would wind down the Huawei deal

by the end of the week."

Well that's good.

You got to commend Facebook

for doing what's right...after getting caught.

And it's time for another fan question!

Jordan Laramore asks:

"I have a question in regard to the South China Sea.

We know that the dispute has soured the view of China

in some countries but how about relations with Taiwan,

seeing as they claim the same area

and occupy an island in the sea?"

Great question, Jordan.

You're right.

This is one of those weird things that both

the People's Republic of China and Taiwan agree on:

that everything within the Nine-Dash Line belongs to China.

Though obviously they don't agree on which China that is.

As you pointed out,

Taiwan has had its own small island

in the South China Sea for decades.

It's called Itu Aba.

But Taiwan's Coast Guard uses it mainly

for search and rescue in the area—

like to help a fishing boat that capsizes,

no matter what country it's from.

See, when you build hospitals instead of missile silos,

your neighbors react a little differently.

Basically, the problem other countries have

isn't China's historical claims to the South China Sea.

It's the Chinese Communist Party being extremely aggressive

about building up islands for military use.

Also, of course, we trust Taiwan because it's everyone's ally.

Whereas the PRC is, at best, a frenemy.

So what do you think?

Leave your comments below.

Once again I'm Chris Chappell.

See you next time.

Former U.S. nuclear negotiator, North Korea's Vice Foreign Minister resume denuclearization... - Duration: 2:32.

America's top diplomat is expected to pay a visit to Pyongyang this week.

Ahead of his trip, working-level officials from the two sides reportedly met at the inter-Korean

border over the weekend.

Lee Ji-won zooms in on what they may have discussed.

It seems as though talks to work out the process of North Korea's denuclearization have kicked

off.

A senior U.S. State Department official on Sunday confirmed that U.S. ambassador to the

Philippines and former nuclear negotiator, Sung Kim and North Korea's Vice Foreign Minister

Choe Son-hui met again on Sunday at the truce village of Panmunjom on the inter-Korean border.

This comes 19 days after the Pyongyang-Washington summit was held last month and is the first

face-to-face meeting between the two sides since Singapore.

While not much is known about the details, the South Korean daily Chosun Ilbo reports

that the two exchanged views on the current situation for about an hour.

And with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo expected to visit Pyongyang this week, Sunday's

meeting is thought to have covered the agenda for Pompeo's visit, mainly, North Korea's

denuclearization.

Ambassador Kim and Choe were at the forefront of negotiations between Pyongyang and Washington

in the lead up to the Singapore summit.

The two held a series of pre-summit meetings in Panmunjom,... and continued their talks

in Singapore, right up until the first meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and

U.S. President Donald Trump.

An expert on North Korea expects these follow-up talks to center around ways to carry out North

Korea's denuclearization in a speedy manner.

"The specific timeline and plan can be made once the U.S. has an understanding of the

size of North Korea's nuclear weapons program.

So to start off, the U.S. is likely to first require North Korea to submit a list of its

nuclear programs, which will be followed by the verification of the list, possibly by

forming an international consortium centered around the U.S."

The expert said, once the two sides settle on the speed and the intensity of the denuclearization

steps, Washington can then work on easing its economic sanctions on North Korea.

He also added that the shutdown of the large missile engine test site in Tongchang-ri,

and the repatriation of the remains of some 200 American soldiers are also expected to

be discussed at Pompeo's upcoming visit to the North.

10 Differences between a Relationship Partner and a Life Mate - Duration: 4:49.

10 Differences between a Relationship Partner and a Life Mate.

Everyone in life wants to have a best relationship with someone else.

Who doesn't want to have someone who understand almost everything in your life?

However, there are differences in making a relationship with someone, like between a

relationship partner and a life mate.

Here are the 10 differences.

Please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video until the end to know the complete

information.

#1 - A relationship partner cannot live without you, a life partner knows it impossible to

live without you.

A relationship partner will say that he or she can't live without you, in which he

or she wants you to be in his or her life.

Otherwise, a life partner just knows that living without you is something he or she

can do.

He will try everything whatever it takes to live with you.

#2 - A relationship partner tries to understand your feelings, a life partner feels it.

A relationship partner will be good at listening to understand your feeling, but a life partner

doesn't need you to talk.

They already knew it.

If you are hurt, they will be hurt and if you are happy, they are happy too.

#3 - A relationship partner comes if you need, a life partner is always by your side.

If you need someone at your difficult time for example, you maybe ask your relationship

partner to help you and to be with you, but a life partner will always be by your side

no matter what.

#4 - A relationship partner wants to know your thought, a life partner already know

it.

A relationship partner maybe ask you to hear what you think about something like music,

food or so on, but a life partner doesn't need to hear that.

They know which is you like the most and they feel it as you do.

#5 - A relationship partner encourage you to reach your goal, a life partner will not

let anything distract you to reach it.

A relationship partner wants to see you to be happy by reaching your goal in life, so

that they will support and encourage you as long as they can.

In other hand, a life partner doesn't only support you, they will do whatever it takes

to help you reaching the goal and makes sure you are on the right path.

#6 - A relationship partner hides some of their personality, a life partner shows everything.

A relationship partner sometimes doesn't want you to know their past or personality,

but a life partner will show you everything about them whether the past and the real personality

honestly.

#7 - A relationship partner supports your struggle, a life partner struggles with you.

When you are struggling something, a relationship partner will support you very much.

But on the other side, a life partner will join to struggle together.

#8 - A relationship partner gives you what you want, a life partner gives you what you

need.

When you ask something to your partner, they probably will accept what you asked whatever

it is.

But a life partner will give you what you need for your good, because they know what

you want doesn't mean it is good.

#9 - A relationship partner criticizes you, a life partner guides you.

When you are in a wrong path, a life partner will tell you are wrong, yet they guide you

to return to the good one.

#10 - A relationship partner finds you are special, a life partner finds you are everything.

From their point of view you're the special one, so they want you to be a partner.

But a life partner finds that you're everything to them.

Well, those are the 10 differences between a relationship partner and a life mate.

So really cool information isn't it?

HOW TO LEARN ANY LANGUAGE?|| ΠΩΣ ΝΑ ΜΑΘΕΙΣ ΟΠΟΙΑΔΗΠΟΤΕ ΓΛΩΣΣΑ|| w/ subs - Duration: 5:48.

How are you?

Welcome to another video

I am Nicky and today I will talk about

how to learn any language

I have been asked many times

if it's possible to learn one, two, five languages at the same time

how can you learn them , if you can learn them on your own

today I will answer all these questions

and I hope it helps all of you who want to learn

a language on your own

So imagine that you have chosen the language you want to learn..

GREAT!

First and foremost you have to realize why you want to learn that language

If you realize why, then you also have the motivation to move on

You have to have a sentimental bond with the language

If you have, you will learn fast and joyfully

For instance, why am I learning Turkish?

To understand all the turkish series and communicate with my favorite actors

so for me that is a boost to keep learning Turkish without getting upset

If you find a reason to learn a language then you have covered a huge part of your learning journey

Second, invest on notebooks and stationary, whatever inspires you yo start writing

Generally, the more you like the stuff you use, the more chances you have to study more

Third, let's go to try outs

meaning, to see if you just like a language or if you really want to learn it

Your best friends for that are apps and internet

go to youtube and write

find apps on app store and play store

and start writing basic phrases, the alphabet, if you have different alphabets

and see how it works for you, if you truly like it or if you just like how it sounds

Fourth, find the webpage that works for you

For me it is TalkToMeInKoreaan.com for Korean and Duolingo for French

which btw I have to change it doesn't really work for me

but yes if you search

Athena (my friend) found a free pdf book for japanese, when she had to pay 75$

whoever wants, will find a way, that's what I have realized

There are so many websites out there, see what works for you the best

because, okay, we all learn differently

Five, realize that classes aren't necessary

I know people who in one or two years have become fluent in any language they want

For example, "O Filellinas" on youtube, he is self-learning Greek, he is German

And he Greek is amazing.. Sometimes better than mine..

Don't think that if you don't take classes, then you can't do anything

Korean women earned 67% of what men earned in 2017 - Duration: 1:42.

More and more women are active contributors of the nation's workforce.

Over fifty percent of them are employed with a growing number of mothers returning to work.

However, according to our Kim Hye-sung, there still lies a big wage gap between men and

women.

Data from Statistics Korea show women's average monthly wages came to about 2-thousand-50

U.S. dollars last year, up four-point-three percent from the year before.

Still, that's only two-thirds of what was earned by Korean men, who made on average

about 3-thousand-50 U.S. dollars a month.

In 2013, Korean women earned 68 cents on the dollar compared to men.

That fell to around 66 cents in 2015, and then went up slightly in 2016 and 2017.

Statsitics Korea attributed the gender pay gap to women working irregular jobs... and

to interruptions to their careers caused by marriage, childbirth and childrearing.

In August 2017, 3-point-six million women, or 4 out of ten women in the labor force,

were employed on a temporary basis.

This is much higher than the rate for men, of whom 26 percent are irregular workers.

At the same time, the average continuous working years for women was four-point-seven years,

two-point five years shorter than that for men.

Yet data show the areas women work in have become more diverse.

For the first time last year, women accounted for more than half of the public servants

employed by Korea's interior ministry.

The ratio of women in law and medicine also went up compared to the previous year, coming

to 26 percent, 25-point-four percent, respectively.
