Waching daily Aug 1 2018

(Episode 4)

Green light!

I've been talking too much, haven't I?

But it's rude to sit shotgun and not say anything.

It's right up front.

Okay.

Thank you very much.

Drive safely.

Did I do something wrong?

No.

Then did you see something you shouldn't have?

Why are you suddenly acting this way?

It's because I have a bad temper.

Oh, you don't want to tell me?

Okay.

Have a nice day.

He's so weird.

Hello.

This is my sister.

Hello.

You bought these down the street, right?

I saw you from the car just now.

Yes.

What are you doing here?

Exactly.

It isn't even urgent but look at him.

Are you doing this intentionally?

After calling over someone else's precious child?

I clearly said not to come.

If she wants to wait or leave,

that's up to her.

Dad!

Fine. There's no need to stall.

Let's put an end to this.

Let's sit.

Let me introduce her.

It's nice to meet you.

I'm Kang Sena.

I'll be very straightforward.

I'm against you two dating.

Dad.

Our dad is a bit rash.

That's not how you talk things out.

Fine. Let's start from the beginning.

I said I didn't want to meet you...

- So why did you come? / - Dad!

Knowing how Duyeong is, I thought he'd be upset

if you were opposed to us seeing each other.

I came to get your permission.

You know him so well.

My brother can't lie

and is quite naive.

Dad, they're not trying to do anything right this instant.

They just want to date.

Why are you opposing?

People say this is common

in this day and age.

But my son and I are both very old-fashioned...

So I can't let it happen.

Do your parents know their daughter is doing this...

- Dad! / - Dad!

I only have a father.

My mother passed away.

Oh...

It's difficult to talk about...

But I'm an illegitimate child.

I'm sorry.

Well...

You don't need to be sorry to us.

You don't need to tell us something

that's difficult to talk about.

Duyeong needs to know too.

It's a common story.

My mom fell in love when she was only 22.

When she found out that he had a family,

they broke up.

That's right.

She went to the U.S. to study...

And found out she was pregnant.

She gave up everything

and devoted her life to raising me.

But then...

Did you live alone with your mother

in the U.S.? What about your father?

He found out later on,

sent child support

and put me in his family registry.

He did everything he could for me.

That's good.

I don't resent my parents whatsoever.

I think I understand.

We are also a broken family.

That tickles.

I'll go now.

Okay.

You should take her home.

What does your father do?

My father also makes cosmetics.

He does?

I'm sure it isn't YB, which we humiliated.

Which company?

That is it. YB.

What?

Why are you shocked?

You didn't know either?

No.

I don't consider myself a part of YB.

I don't have any of their shares or anything either.

I see.

Did I say too much?

I don't know what your father must think of me.

Didn't you see my dad earlier?

He's totally smitten with you, just as I am.

Really?

I'm so glad.

Then is it my turn now?

My dad will like you, no doubt.

Do you feel burdened?

No.

I have a lot to learn, so it's great for me.

This is like a dream.

I can't believe we've gotten so close already.

We crossed paths in New York

and were on the same flight.

It's like a miracle.

I thought it was just you

but your father and sister are really nice too.

They're warm, cheerful and very understanding.

And easy to fool.

You're home early.

Is dad home?

That's so strange.

She went in this morning and again.

She didn't come home the first night she moved in

but he didn't scold her.

Why do they have so much to talk about?

Isn't it strange?

Anyway,

she came in with some man at the airport.

Do you know who this is?

I'm sure I've seen him in the papers before.

Don't drag it out.

Set a wedding date.

Even if we rush it,

I guess the families should meet.

I'll do that for you.

After you add me to your family registry.

The chairman came and

threw a fit while you were out.

I think it'll take some time...

I won't do anything until then.

What?

What's the big deal about the family registry?

It's important to me.

Because it's something my mom wanted

until the moment she died.

You decide.

How will you become in-laws with them with

a daughter who isn't even on your family registry?

What do you think you're doing?

Become in-laws?

With Cells Beauty?

I'll go up now.

You were flipping out about them just yesterday.

How could you change your tune in just a day?

You're incredible.

She's one thing.

What's going on?

Don't be too concerned even if

I add her to our family registry.

She'll be getting married soon,

so it doesn't matter.

That's not what I'm talking about!

My only son stabs me in the back!

I need to find a way to survive.

So,

you ally with your abandoned daughter

to wage war against me?

Fine. I understand.

Hello?

I'm coming.

I'm home.

Hey. Where were you all this time?

Jeonghan,

I hired a housekeeper to start tomorrow.

Is that bad?

Mom,

how many times must we tell you?

We still have a mountain of debt.

Honey,

I'll work harder, okay?

Let's hire a housekeeper later.

You don't even make much money.

Father.

How much should I quote?

It's such a large volume.

I'll ask around to find out what the market's like.

I'll start looking for raw materials.

The decolorant is the problem since it's all imported.

It won't be easy to obtain quality material.

Well, I'll have to do some legwork.

Dad was won over in an instant.

What?

So was I.

It was awesome.

Tell me in detail.

You'll like her too.

Do you want to meet her?

Why should I?

Of course, you should meet your daughter-in-law.

I'll try to set something up.

What do you think you're doing?

Why are you telling that woman about me?

Duyeong.

Bye.

Mom!

How could you refer to mom as "that woman?"

Duyeong!

Duyeong!

I know you hate mom.

That's why I never mentioned her.

But still, she's family.

Even if you hate her and we don't live with her,

you can't escape blood.

That's exactly why.

Just what happened?

I don't see my car keys.

The car isn't here.

Someone brought you home last night.

Where did I put that?

Yes, sir.

Yes, your car's here.

I'll call a designated driver and send it over.

Okay.

Why are you dumping that expensive car anywhere?

Where will I find a driver at this hour?

Should I go?

I'm a really good driver.

- Will you? / - Yes.

Park it in the company parking lot

and leave the key with the guard.

Okay.

Drive carefully.

Not a single scratch. Got it?

Yes, sir.

Expensive cars really are nice.

What's his problem? Why is he so slow?

How annoying.

Seriously...

Oh, no.

Don't you know how to drive?

Do you know how expensive this car is?

I'll submit it.

I'll see you in 2 weeks.

There will be a new person in charge...

Excuse me.

My little brother was in a car accident.

- Was he hurt? / - Jaedong.

Is anyone hurt?

It's okay, then. I'll call insurance...

No license?

What were you thinking?

Fine. Send me the number.

I'm sorry. What were you about to say?

You should go.

Hello?

What?

What about my car?

Hello?

Is this Kang Hyeongi?

Your car is license plate number 9048?

Yes, it is.

I'm sorry,

but my little brother caused a minor accident,

so you'll need to come out.

Darn it.

Geez.

What's this?

- I'm sorry. / - I'm sorry.

Where's the person who called me?

My sister?

There...

Mr. Shin, what are you doing here?

This is a friend's car.

He was busy, so I came in his place.

- You're close to Mr. Kang Hyeongi? / - Yes.

He's a really great guy.

Thank goodness.

Where's the damage?

It's hardly even noticeable.

What are you talking about? That'll cost $5,000 easy.

$5,000?

You said he's a great guy.

Can't you talk to him for me...

What should I say for you?

That my mom runs a tiny little restaurant

but she hurt her back.

That's why my brother went to buy the cabbage

and got into this accident.

Things are really tough for us.

This is so humiliating.

In Oksu-dong,

there's an artisan. He's a painting master.

He's a total human cultural asset.

He'll do it for $500.

I'm speechless.

Let's just call our insurance companies.

I'll speak with Mr. Kang Hyeongi myself.

Okay.

I know about the artisan in Oksu-dong.

Just give me $500 and go.

Thank you.

I don't have cash on me,

so I'll transfer it to your account.

Okay. Go ahead.

You can't even drive.

You were being snotty with someone else's car?

You should talk. You don't even have a license.

You know you have to pay for the paint job, right?

- Give me a break. / - Hey!

Hey!

Hey! Jaedong!

Stop right there.

I'm sending this bike to the junkyard, got that?

No. You can't do that.

Call the cops on him.

He has no license.

No license.

That's a fine of up to $3,000 and

up to 1 year in prison...

Fine. Fine.

I'll do as you say.

Thank you.

Yes, he's here.

It's Cells Beauty.

Dad. It's them.

Hello?

Has the decision been made?

Thank you.

Thank you very much.

Dad, these terms are too favorable just to us.

What? That's how you negotiate.

You have to start out strong.

But this is too much.

Are you dating the bottle factory guy?

Dad!

I've got you.

I knew something was off ever since you said

you wanted to help because of the bottle caps.

That manager is hitting on you,

knowing you're my daughter, right?

Not at all.

He saw me at mom's restaurant,

so he thinks I'm poor.

And why are you even saying that?

You're being suspicious.

You're wrong.

He thinks I'm a total low-life.

Why?

He saw me sell my things to a pawn shop

and get kicked out by mom.

Serves you right.

Why can't I even do this?

What am I doing this

because of that ill-tempered guy?

Business is business.

I'm not trying to impress him.

Hello.

I came instead.

Okay.

Thank you for choosing us to be your partner.

Let me take you out for a meal.

Your quote and terms were the best.

I'll give you a copy of the contract

for you to review.

Okay.

Is Mr. Yun busy?

- Uncle! / - Hey.

What took you so long?

Uncle? Give me a break.

Get over here now.

How could you make the kids stand in this hot sun?

I'm being nice by not calling the police.

What did they do?

This kid...

Brought all of these

and asked to exchange them for money.

I know their family situation.

They had no money to buy these.

He obviously stole them from somewhere.

What? Stole them?

I bought them when your husband was here.

Check your credit card receipts. It was 2 days ago.

If you paid by card,

we don't refund it in cash.

You punk.

What were you going to do with the cash?

To play video games?

To pay the electricity bill.

What?

The lights won't turn on at home.

We can't turn on the fan.

You were hurt because of Duyeong, weren't you?

Oh, that?

Don't worry about it.

Did something happen between you two

that I don't know about?

Of course, not.

Then why is someone as kind as he is

so mean to you?

I guess he can't forgive me for betraying his dad

and leaving you all.

That was because of us.

Even I understand.

How could he not?

Sons are always on their dad's side.

He must resent me.

Okay. I'll protect you, mom.

Let's go in, Lady Seo.

I bought you a massager.

They say it's the best for back pain.

You are incredible, miss.

You really got your name on the family registry.

(Family registry)

(Kang Jehyeok's children, Kang Hyeongi, Kang Sena)

If the chairman finds out,

it'll be murder.

How will you handle it?

You may go.

Father.

I'll set a date now.

What? They want the families to meet?

You're surprised, right?

It's so fast for me too.

What did Sena say?

She's flustered too.

So why?

Her father is so busy.

What? As in, you're not good enough?

Do as you wish?

True, I was all upset too.

It goes without saying, how her family must feel.

That's not it.

He already gave his permission for us to get married.

Is there something going on in that family

I don't know about?

Think about it rationally.

They're a conglomerate family. They'd be so picky.

Even if they don't demand an arranged marriage,

how could they be so...

To be blunt, they don't do that

unless the girl is pregnant or something.

Wait!

Is this fraud?

Dad, what do you mean fraud?

Maybe she's faking being from that family.

We only heard what she said.

Who knows if she's really his illegitimate child?

Yes. There's no rush.

Tell them we'll follow the proper process.

- Ask for a copy of her family registry. / - Dad.

Was your father very offended?

That's not it.

I think he's very confused.

I don't blame him.

This isn't right.

My father is thinking only of himself.

I was surprised too.

My father still hasn't given us permission to date yet.

May I come over today?

I want to see your father.

Of course.

What does he like?

He likes sweets.

But he can't eat them because of Gayeong.

Okay.

How is Gayeong so cheerful?

She's so carefree.

Right?

She went through so much hardship.

Even before our parents got divorced,

they never got along.

They always fought about money.

There was a time when she and I

starved for 2 days straight.

My dad went bankrupt and ran away

and my mom went out to look for money,

but couldn't come home.

Gayeong isn't...

Just a sister to me.

I think I understand what you mean.

Don't we have any customers?

I served one table.

You should stay there until the customer leaves.

No.

Why? Did something happen with the customers?

You know the kids who live above the pharmacy?

Yes, I do.

Did their mom come back?

As if.

They look like total beggars.

Their power was cut off too.

It's so annoying.

I'll go out.

I work in a hot oven.

The temperature of the oven is 1,600 degrees.

- For real? / - Totally.

You can't even breathe.

When that happens, I recite something to myself.

It'll all pass. It'll all pass.

Once I walk outside during my break,

I feel cool all over, and forget how it felt inside.

Doesn't that make sense?

That's how life is too.

No matter how difficult the times are, it'll all pass.

So if you hang in there,

it'll all get better.

Just as glass gets stronger because of the hot fire...

People get stronger through their sufferings.

- Do you understand? / - Yes.

Duyeong.

I'm hungry.

I'm hungry.

Gayeong, isn't it good?

It's good.

Still, I'm hungry.

Wait a little bit.

Mommy will be home soon.

Okay.

I'll get some drinks. Eat.

Goodness.

Sorry. I'm sorry.

Excuse me...

(Love to the End)

I like her.

She works hard and has a great personality.

This is my family registry record.

I can't say it now

but there's a big plan.

What is Sena like?

She makes me curious about her.

Do you wonder if I got myself a sugar daddy?

We're meeting his girlfriend's family this weekend.

Father, this is him.

I met someone

but he's different every time I see him.

I think I finally understand what he's like.

topic you chose

using a survey in a group VC.

Thanks for the active vote, this gives

opportunity to understand what it is interesting to you and

what is it worth to shoot new

video.

By the way, similar surveys the group will now have each

a week.

After all, I am sincerely Important then what you want.

And so let's start directly to our

a lesson of choice

subjects for your YouTube channel.

We created the channel, did quality

registration, filled the name, tags, description and has come

the moment when

it's time to choose a topic in which we will create

and advance on YouTube.

And here it just rises up question?

What to shoot?

What topics are relevant?

Where there is more competition but where is the least?

And on what subject can I

to earn more money?

Important for questions about selection of topics for the channel

given in

comments for this video I will produce separate

video from

detailed answers.

So do not be lazy ask interested in you

questions and they are compulsory will be announced with answers

in separate videos.

Well, let's analyze and discuss with you the main

themes, their

pluses and minuses, as well as the relevance of the

other category

viewers.

First place in my video take perhaps the subject matter

- Cars.

Yes, yes, not

be surprised but it's extremely in demand, profitable

and interesting

subjects that entice viewers absolutely

different ages,

status and religion.

Here no only owners

expensive cars but and students, ordinary hard workers,

women and teenagers.

Everyone is interested in news from the world of the automotive industry,

various

car competitions, show, tuning projects and of course

same repair

cars in the home.

Pros:

Subjects in a constant trend.

The solvent audience.

Actively investing in advertising money, large

advertisers.

Extensive coverage of various layers of the audience.

Vastness of rubrics and opportunities for creativity.

Minuses:

Enormous competition.

Complexity of output to tops search for SEO optimization.

The complexity of creating content (Mostly expensive

equipment and

filming)

Very tasty and interesting subjects for those who live

automotive

peace, takes part in motorsport, builds interesting

projects,

engaged in car repair, monitors the car

news and trends.

On

Russian-language traffic you can earn on average

from 4 to 5 dollars for

1000 views.

Is it tasty?

Write your opinion about of this subject

in the comments of Friends.

Second place, I think perhaps give the theme of the game

character and direction.

After all, in fact, games took possession of the hearts of millions

of people.

Here you can

do streaming and show to your viewers what you are

cool player, or

to shoot with the original and cool voice acting behind the scenes,

you can saw

reviews on game updates or same modifications to the old

favorite games.

Generally

a huge field for creativity, everyone can find rubrics

in its

tastes, interests and that closer to the heart.

Pros:

Subjects in a constant trend.

Huge traffic to game content.

The huge polygon for flight of fantasy and creativity.

A pleasant waste of time with a good income.

During a live event communication with spectators.

An endless stream of ideas for new content.

Minuses:

Huge competition.

Low solvency audience.

Low ad rates from advertisers.

Streams do not fall into the search, traffic is one-time.

Long development of the channel.

The complexity of editing and voice acting to create really steep

content.

Yes, yes, it's cool to play, interesting and exciting.

If you are very cool

play or understand in the trends of games, or maybe you

an orator from God and yours

the elements of streaming, or you can sound cool

walkthrough?

Then

this topic is for you.

This subject is extremely in demand but also

is extremely difficult in connection with competition, low pay

advertising and labor-intensive

the process of creating a new content.

But how many stocks are there ideas for

new videos, never-ending flow.

You can earn from 0.5 up to 1 dollar

for 1000 views, by the way not much compared to

with many

other subjects.

And how do you feel about the game topics

Friends?

Write in the comments.

Third, I'd probably like to dismantle such an eternal

subjects like Humor.

Well where

without humor, then Friends.

Humor saves our tired soul and warm hearts,

letting you forget for a minute about extremely heavy and gray

reality.

Humor

can be completely different, parodies, humor shows, serials,

fagots

and much more.

This taematic is extremely diverse in its essence.

Here

everyone can find the format for themselves and in their

style.

And also what

not a little important this topic can conquer the hearts absolutely

of various

layers of the audience from small and to great, from youngster to

old man.

Plus this

subject enough exhaust in the forefront of finance.

Pros:

Subjects in a constant trend.

Huge traffic on views.

Excellent activity on new videos.

Wide range of formats for creative

ambitions.

Wide coverage of all segments and layers of the audience.

Not a bad profit on views.

Minuses:

Again, huge competition.

The complexity of creating content with the orientation to mass.

The complexity of creating live video in the style of humor.

Extremely interesting subjects for those who live with humor,

knows how to humor or

can think of something humorous.

Subjects for those whose creativity

aimed at good the mood of other people.

By the way in this subject

quite good incomes from advertising at a price from 1.5 to

2.5 dollars for

1000 views.

Not bad, after all?

Write in the comments how you love

rubrics in the subject of humor.

The fourth I choose subjects in the category of entertainment.

Here

so many friends.

Beauty bloggers, unpacking, reviews, opinions, reactions,

taxes and much more.

In truth, the most extensive topics that

includes millions ideas for creating steep

and interesting content

aimed at maximizing coverage of all segments, layers

and ages

audience.

In this area, each find a heading for yourself

which will be

him in high.

Also not bad rates on advertising, but it's nice

bonus for

my job.

Pros:

Subjects in a constant trend.

High income.

Maximum flight for creativity.

Huge selection of formats and headings.

A fairly easy process to create new videos.

Coverage of the widest segment audience.

Minuses:

Competition, if it is not good.

On the competition perhaps and dwell on the minuses.

Really the most extensive and cool subjects in vplane

creativity.

Here everyone

will find in what format turn around and catch

your own HYIP.

Earnings by the way

very good at the rate from 1 to 4 dollars for 1000 views.

Love

content entertainment subjects?

If so then we write in the comments, although

if not then write, too.

Well, the fifth I put the teaching or business subjects.

Why the fifth ask

you, but because it is the most complex and time-consuming subjects.

It's not easy here

to entertain society, but to benefit and become a teacher

for

a huge number of people.

The truth in this topic audience segment will be

older than in others, but this brings more

income compared to

other subjects due to the loyalty of advertisers

to a similar

content.

Here everyone can find your theme for creativity

in formats

learning.

Pros:

The topic is very in demand.

Great advertising revenue.

Extensive scope for creativity and submission of the correct content.

Diverse enough segment viewer.

Important format.

Average competition.

Minuses:

Difficult to create content.

Long preparation for each release.

The need to know the amount of information.

Skill correctly and competently build a script for each

video.

If you are wise, literate, understanding and understanding

in different

subjects a person.

You found your format.

Here you can not only

earn, you can be a good example

others and give people something

so is not enough.

Knowledge.

And the audience will be extremely I am grateful for this and

is loyal to you.

Plus a good opportunity make money on a similar

content,

because from 2 to 4 dollars of income for 1000 views this is not

few.

What do you

Think about the topic training and business Friends?

Click in

comments.

Well, here we come, we by the time it's time to fail

results.

Each

the subject matter is good, but in each subject there is

a lot of its nuances.

Pros and Cons, Simplicity and complexity, profitability

and unclaimedness

advertisers.

Choose themes for your channel should be based on the

than you live, that you can, what are you dreaming about and what are you

do you want.

Remember, that

Youub is first of all hobby and playground for creativity

and only then it

business and earnings.

Coming to the world of YouTube and choosing

channel, you should choose something closer to you

all in spirit and

your way of life.

Do not be afraid to experiment, if you chose

one topic and she did not go, you should not leave everything and go

with yutuba,

It's worth trying in a different format.

Remember that under a bed a rock

Water does not flow if it does not work then do not throw everything,

go to bed and

to shed tears, it is worth trying again and again and again in another

subject and

other ideas.

All good luck in choosing Friends.

I'm sure that each of you

find exactly what he can do best in the world.

Thanks if

watched the video to the end.

Thanks for the subscriptions, husky and comments, because

they motivate me continue to shoot my

video in this

chosen subject.

I do not say goodbye, I say to new meetings in new

video Friends.

you have such great handwriting.

-Oh, thank you. -Isn't that beautiful?

-Yeah, it's really -- I do --

well, usually, it's chicken scratch,

but for you, I tried to really get --

-Well, you used your penmanship beautifully.

-Thank you. [ Laughter ]

-Yeah. -You know what?

I think this is our 715th show.

You're the first person to mention my penmanship,

so thank you. Thank you.

[ Cheers and applause ] -All right.

-Do you like being back in New York?

You grew up in New York.

-Here it is -- I've said this before.

My heart is here in New York.

My body lives in L.A.

My heart and my soul is in Montana.

-Oh, wow, interesting. -Yeah.

-And you used to ride the bus, obviously.

-I did. I rode the Broadway bus, the 104.

-And You had the performer gene at a very young age.

-I did. I would get on the bus,

and I would sit down, and there would be an empty seat,

and we would stop along the way

before we got to McBurney's School for Boys.

-Uh-huh. -No longer exists.

I have no history. [ Laughter ]

And someone would try to sit down next to me,

and I'd go, "No, wait a minute! Hold it."

And I would -- "My pet horse, George, just..."

[ Laughter ]

"He didn't make, so it's all right."

[ Laughter ]

And then, once, I actually asked the bus,

"Anybody have to get off between 78th Street and 64th?

'Cause I'm late for my midterm exams.

I'm the future of America,

and they're going to kill me if I'm late."

[ Laughter ]

Everybody said no, and I made the bus an express.

-Wow! [ Laughter and applause ]

That is incredible.

You had, uh...

-I failed the test.

-You failed the test. -Yes.

-All those people sacrificed for you, and you failed the test.

-I actually took geometry for four years.

[ Laughter ]

Yes. -Nominated for an Emmy.

Congratulations. Very excited for you.

And it's a wonderful, wonderful role

on a wonderful show.

You've been nominated before. -I have.

-You were nominated for "Happy Days."

-Yes. And I've lost before.

-Well, this is interesting. So you're going into it

having eyes wide open as to what the experience is like.

-That's true. -Are you excited?

-You know what? I'm very proud.

'Cause what I know is this.

When HBO called and said, "Oh, congratulations,"

they also said, "We won 13 nominations."

-Yeah.

-And Bill Hader and Alec Berg and the cinematographer.

And it never happens for comedies in the first year.

-It's really impressive.

-I am out-of-my-mind thrilled.

I totally understand how it works.

So I might win, I might not.

And I am so proud to be in this category

with all of these other actors.

And that thought lasts... -Uh-huh.

-...until... [ Laughter ]

...your tush hits the seat in the theater,

at which time, you want to win!

[ Laughter and applause ]

Let's be honest. -Yeah.

-I don't even remember who else is in the category!

[ Laughter ]

I saw Mr. Shalhoub here the other night.

-Yes, Tony Shalhoub. Nominated in your category.

-I saw him on Broadway. -Yeah.

-He already won a statue. -He won a Tony this year.

-Come on! -Come on. Don't be greedy, Tony.

-Share! [ Laughter ]

-Give a little something to Henry here.

The part is fantastic. -Thank you.

-You play an acting coach.

And you and Bill Hader discussed your own history.

And did you borrow from other acting coaches

or acting teachers? -You know what?

Gene Cousineau -- this is how I really got into my character.

In the set of the theater where I teach,

there are posters.

And they took pictures of me. And there is all of the plays

that I've produced, directed, and wrote --

"Hamlet," "Macbeth," "Peter Pan."

And they put me in a harness, and I flew as Peter.

[ Laughter ]

And I realized that it is starring Gene Cousineau,

my character, except I didn't dye my hair.

I played Peter Pan with gray hair.

[ Laughter ]

I knew exactly who this guy was. -Yeah, there you go.

That is a very good character description.

-Yeah.

The Three Dimensions Of Mind - Duration: 17:19.

Have you ever wondered about the difference between people who win

consistently and people who lose consistently?

Some of it relates to the talent they have (or don't have).

Some of it relates to how well they planned and prepared to win.

But much of the difference relates to how convinced they become about their ability

to win.

To be really clear about this, winners expect to win, they expect victory,

and they expect success!

Expecting to win is not just a matter of thinking you will win and willing it to

happen (although that is important).

Expecting to win is a right that must be earned, and there are some things you must

do to earn that right.

There is a significant difference between people who do great things and

people who don't.

People who accomplish great things work toward their

objectives every day.

You see, planning, preparing, and expecting, all three

work together to create winning results.

Expecting is not the ending, it's simply the third ingredient in winning.

And it's something you must do and improve on constantly.

Stop planning, stop preparing, and you stop winning.

Very simply put, a competitive weight lifter who chose to lie on the beach for

six months could not show up at a competition and legitimately expect to

win.

No, they must plan to win by setting their goals and getting a plan of

action.

They must prepare to win by following that plan and working daily to

strengthen and build their muscles.

Then they can legitimately expect to have a shot at winning.

A parent cannot ignore the behavior of their children, fail

to discipline them or fail to reward them, and expect to produce a disciplined,

loving, responsible adult.

A daily investment must be made in the child's life

to prepare them by teaching them and guiding them into becoming all they

can be.

To earn the right to expect success (in anything you do), you must

have a daily objective to make an honest effort to continue to plan better and

be better prepared for today than you were yesterday.

If you pay that price daily by planning and preparing and working

to become the right kind of person, then you can legitimately expect to

have all that life has to offer.

The three dimension of life.

There are three dimensions in every person's life that must be nurtured and

disciplined daily if you hope to earn the right to expect success.

The first dimension is spiritual, the second dimension

is mental, and the third dimension is physical.

Each dimension is separate from the others, but they

all work together to make up the total person.

If any of these dimensions is neglected in the planning and preparing, the

right to expect success will be limited.

The Mental Dimension.

The human mind is an amazing machine, but it must be cared for and given a

lot of attention.

As a matter of fact, you are what you think, and you become

what you think.

If you want to change your life, you have to change what

goes into your mind!

In other words, if you want to be a winner, you have to

think like a winner.

Our mental abilities are housed in our brains, and if you think of your

brain as a muscle, you can see the importance of exercising it daily to keep it

in top condition.

The best exercise for the brain (and your mind) is to force it

to think!

Thinking may sound like something that is easy, but the kind of

thinking I'm talking about requires effort.

Let's go back to the muscle concept, and I believe you will completely

understand what I'm talking about.

When you go to the gym to exercise your body, a good trainer will tell

you that your exercise program should be designed to build up your

cardiovascular system and to build muscle.

Cardiovascular improvement comes by way of elevating the

heart rate for longer and longer periods of time.

Each day, the goal is to go a little longer on the treadmill or

the stair-climbing machine.

You may start out with a ten-minute routine before you are exhausted, but before long

you can easily go thirty minutes or even an hour at faster and faster paces.

If you have ever done cardio work, you also know that it is uncomfortable when

you begin to reach your point of exhaustion, but when you push through the

pain, you always achieve a higher level of endurance.

Muscle building also requires some pain and exhaustion, because muscle

tissue builds through repetitive lifting of increasingly heavy weights.

The interesting thing about muscle building is

that it doesn't hurt while you are doing it.

The soreness is an after-effect, as the muscles actually tear a little in

response to the exercise and begin to rebuild even stronger new muscle.

In this case, the time-worn saying "no pain,

no gain" certainly holds true.

Exercising your brain muscle is much the same from the standpoint of the

daily need to exercise.

The pain of exercising your brain comes in the form of

being forced to think in ways that might be a bit uncomfortable.

To exercise your brain and challenge it to think, there are two things you

need to do daily to be successful.

The first is to continually add new information that your brain can process.

New information comes by way of listening and observing.

It also comes by way of reading.

So the first step of brain exercise is to spend a little time each

day soaking up new information through reading some good material or listening

to audio messages by people who have knowledge you don't have.

This is why "Automobile University" (listening to audio material while commuting)

is such an effective way to get new information.

The second objective in brain exercise is processing all the new

information you gain and applying it to your life.

This happens as you think about all you have learned and force yourself

to use that information to set goals that cause you to stretch out of your

comfort zone and take new actions that will make a difference in the way you

live.

Because information today is literally at our fingertips, lots of people

believe they suffer from information overload.

They have a lot more information than they can possibly use, and

they invest too little time and effort in the thought process of how to apply

what they have gleaned in their lives.

For this reason we need step two in our brain exercise program: spending quiet time

with yourself solely for the purpose of thinking and meditating.

It is during this quiet time that you should focus on new, creative ideas and solutions

to the problems you may encounter.

Take this time to clearly visualize the desired outcome and results

you want in all areas of your business and personal life.

My friend and mentor, the late Fred Smith, planted this thought in my

mind (the need for daily quiet time), and as a result I made a significant

change in my daily routine.

Interestingly, it involved my daily exercise regimen.

Before Fred Smith planted the idea of having some daily time to just think and

meditate, I listened to cassette recordings while running or walking.

After Fred's suggestion, it occurred to me that I could turn my walking and running

into a time of focused thinking.

I can tell you that once I started doing this I began to develop some of my

most creative ideas.

However, no matter how you find and allocate the time,

just be sure to set aside time daily to be quiet and think.

It can be early in the morning, during the day, or late at night.

You can be walking, sitting, or lying down, but you need a specific thinking agenda.

Think about projects or problems you are working on and explore how

the new information you have acquired can be applied to those situations.

You will be amazed at the immediate increase in not only your creativity,

but in your productivity as well.

The Physical Dimension.

It probably seems like I covered much of the physical dimension during the

segment that discussed exercising the brain, and I did.

But there is more to the physical dimension than just exercise.

While it is the mind and spirit that make human beings unique in creation, they

require a biological container in which to live.

You can have the greatest mind in the world and you can be

spiritually fit, but neglect of the physical body can cut short or limit your

effectiveness and your success.

I'm not saying that people who have physical limitations won't be successful.

Countless thousands of physically impaired people do extraordinary things

every day and serve as an inspiration to others.

What I am saying is that care of your physical equipment is a choice, and

if you choose to care for your body and keep it healthy, you will be in a much

better position to maximize your potential and therefore your success.

The person who makes a million dollars and ruins

his health along the way is not a success.

How important is your health to you?

If you've always had good health, it is far more important than you might know!

You've probably heard it said that our health is our greatest wealth.

Many people give up their health to gain wealth.

Having done so, they quickly realize that they would gladly

exchange all their wealth to regain even some of their health.

When we are young and vigorous, we frequently take our

good health for granted and believe we will never face serious illness,

injury, or some other debilitating condition.

When many people think of success, they think of money and the

things that money can buy.

Well, money can buy you a bed, but it won't buy

you a good night's sleep.

Money can buy you a house but not a home.

Money can buy pleasure but not happiness.

Money won't buy you good health either, but is good health a priority in your life?

Would you trade places with a person who was severely injured in an accident,

lost their legs, and received a $1 million insurance settlement?

If you answered "no," then you obviously value your health more than money!

When I was a younger man, I weighed well over two hundred pounds and

was really out of shape.

When the day came that I fully embraced the need to

lose weight and start taking care of myself, it was hard to change the way I

had been living but well worth the effort.

In 2010, I celebrated eighty-four years of life and I was still traveling and

speaking to large audiences.

My short-term memory failed me, and my body failed

me too at times, but I still enjoyed my life and the things I was doing.

Even though I no longer travel and speak publicly, I am still able to do

much of what I do as the direct result of the diet and exercise program I have followed

for the past forty years.

The aging process is unstoppable, and someday

we will all pass from this world and meet our Maker, but the quality of life

for an aging person is directly related to how well they cared for their bodies

in their younger years.

I am so grateful I am now reaping the benefits of

my decision all those decades ago to change my lifestyle.

Do you have a good eating and weight control plan?

Do you do some physical exercise every day?

If you want to provide your spirit and your mind

a top-notch house to live in, you will do both!

I urge you to set some goals today to give your body the attention and

care it deserves.

The Spiritual Dimension.

The spiritual dimension of your life is the most important, but it is frequently

the most neglected.

It is so important I can state with confidence that your

spiritual condition is the controlling factor behind all that you will be or

become.

For it is out of our souls that our attitude flows, and your attitude will

determine your altitude in life.

The depth of your spirit will determine the height of your success.

How do I know this is true?

Before I began to concentrate on my own spiritual condition,

I was broke and in debt.

I had periods of limited success but could not sustain

them and build anything meaningful.

After I discovered my spiritual needs and began to take my faith

seriously, everything changed.

My speaking career took off and everything in

my life took on a deeper, more meaningful purpose.

Why is your spirituality so important?

It's really simple.

You are a spiritual creature at the core of your being,

and there are specific guidelines for operating your equipment - your life.

Many people believe that humans are just a more intelligent form of animal

life, but that isn't very logical, based on the observable facts and the track

record of human beings.

The difference between human beings and animal

life is profound.

Animals are driven and motivated by two things: survival

and reproduction.

Human beings break the mold of this model because

our behavior is driven as much by what we believe as what we need.

The things we believe drive our thinking; our thoughts produce emotions that

influence our choices; and our choices determine what we do and how we live.

In this respect, people are primarily driven and motivated by faith (what

they believe).

Human beings have a deep, basic need for hope and love.

Human beings will give their lives for intangible ideas

and principles.

Human beings spend their lives seeking things that will make

them "happy" and provide a state of internal peace and serenity.

Animals don't behave that way.

These intangible qualities and needs move the human being out of the

animal kingdom and add another dimension to existence.

These are spiritual qualities, not biological traits.

A biological organism will not live forever.

All biological creatures die, because the physical body eventually wears

out or is destroyed.

Only the spiritual part of a person has the potential

to transcend death of the physical body.

If you believe you are a spiritual creature and are more than an animal,

it's pretty important that you begin to nurture your spiritual dimension and

operate your spiritual equipment the way it is supposed to be operated.

That's just basic common sense.

When you buy a new car, you get an owner's manual with it that explains in detail how

to take care of the car, keep it in top condition, and what to do when it breaks down.

If you follow the maintenance schedule in the manual, your car

will operate smoothly and efficiently for many years.

In much the same way, we need to understand how to take care of and

nurture our spiritual equipment.

Since our spirituality is the most central component of our existence, it's easy to

see that a well-maintained spiritual life will produce a better life overall.

Otherwise, you will wind up living and thinking like an animal!

The right to expect to win.

I promise that you will have earned the right to expect to win if you

understand the tridimensional nature of your life.

Daily attention to the spiritual, mental, and physical areas of your

life will pay huge dividends over the long haul.

You will be more confident.

You will be at peace with yourself and with others.

You will have boundless energy to tackle the challenges of

life and overcome them.

With all that going for you, it is no wonder that you

will have earned the right to expect to win!

Henry Winkler's Son Coached Him for His Barry Audition - Duration: 3:41.

-Your lovely wife is backstage. -Stacey.

-We were talking. And you and Stacey --

-Oh, I have to mention my daughter Zoe.

She demanded that I talk about Z-- she is a mother of three.

An incredible teacher.

And went down to the border and delivered wonderful items

to the children who were being incarcerated there.

-That's fantastic.

A round of applause for Zoe. That's wonderful.

[ Cheers and applause ]

-Yeah, I got a text.

When you have children, you get a text.

That's all you get.

You never get them on the phone.

We also have two sons.

-Henry, she was delivering food on the border.

[ Laughter ]

She didn't have time to call you this time.

-That's exactly what she said.

[ Laughter ]

"I'm busy. I'm gonna call you back."

Jed and Max say the same thing. -Yeah.

Your son Max is a director.

-Yes, he is. He's in Boston now directing his third movie.

-That's very exciting. [ Cheers and applause ]

And is it true that he actually helped you

audition for this role?

-He did. He did. He directed me in the audition.

First time at home, he read the script.

And he would go over it with me.

He would say, "Dad, respect the text."

-Wow. -Because I'm a little dyslexic.

Reading is not so easy, so I improvise.

"Dad, that's not what he wrote."

-Oh, wow.

-"Dad, there's an exclamation point.

Let's do it again."

I think I've got it.

"Let's do it again!" Okay, Max.

-Wow. [ Laughter ]

-The second time, we -- I e-mailed him the scenes.

And we did it over the phone.

He was strict on the phone also.

-Wow. -Yeah.

[ Laughter ]

-Well, it obviously paid off because you got the part.

So I tip my cap to Max.

-Jed, our oldest son, is much more phone-friendly.

-Okay, that's good.

I feel like everyone deserves to have one phone-friendly child.

-Please. -Yeah.

[ Laughter ]

I wanted to ask you about this last time

and we didn't get time to it.

So there is -- you have your own statue in Milwaukee.

-I do.

-It's a Fonzie statue.

-It is. [ Laughter ]

-And here's a photo of you with it.

-Yes. -So, how many times --

[ Cheers and applause ]

Was there anyone --

-You know what? I'll tell you something.

You know, I dreamt of doing this since I was seven.

And that is -- I say that and it's true.

And here I am at 72,

and I have a statue in a wonderful city in America.

I'm not sure why I'm here.

[ Laughter ]

Do you have a statue? -No.

-No, okay. [ Laughter ]

-Hey, wait, come on.

[ Cheers and applause ]

Were there other people around

when you walked up and took a picture with your own statue?

-You know what I do?

I go to visit it every time I'm in Milwaukee.

-Okay, how often is that?

-Well, you know, I like to do it once a year.

-Okay, gotcha. Great.

-And, you know, I touch it up.

[ Laughter ]

And sometimes, I say, "Oh, excuse me.

Would you like me to take a picture of you with the statue?"

And they go, "Yes, thank --" [ Laughter ]

And then, I take a picture with them.

Then they take a picture of me and then they send it to me.

-That's really wonderful.

And that's a very rarely -- when you think about statues,

like, that never happens at the Lincoln Memorial.

You never -- [ Laughter ]

This is a very rare opportunity.

-I want to tell you something.

I don't think that he likes his statue a lot.

I have never seen him there.

-I've never seen him there either.

[ Laughter ]

Very picky when it came to statues.

-Wow. -Famously picky.

Thank you for being here.

Best of luck with the Emmys. Always a pleasure.

Simon Rich Wrote a Story from the Perspective of Paul Revere's Horse - Duration: 6:06.

-We met at "SNL."

We wrote there together.

You wrote with two people

most of the time, Marika Sawyer and John Mulaney.

And then John Mulaney went back and hosted,

and I thought it was lovely.

You and Marika went back and wrote there all week.

-Yeah, it was so fun. It was my first time writing

for the show in a while.

I wrote for the show in my 20s, and now I was in my 30s.

And I was worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up

with the -- the pace and the late nights.

But it was really exciting and fun,

and I felt like I had a handle on it.

And I even went to the party at the end.

And then I went home and I was unconscious

for basically a month. -Yeah.

[ Laughter ]

-It was like my body

had been hit by a train.

I woke up. It was a different season.

And I don't know -- I don't know how we did more than 20 a year.

It seems completely insane.

-Yeah, it's far -- it's a far better job

for a younger person who rebounds quicker

than it is for -- as you get older.

-And also, it was like our -- for a lot of us,

it was our first TV job.

And then you go on to other TV shows and you realize,

it doesn't have to be live. -Yeah, right.

[ Laughter ] -Like, they can film.

They can record it and film it.

-Yeah. You know, that way,

you wouldn't have to stay up so late.

-Yeah. -And do it in the afternoon

and then -- -Do it the next day.

-Yeah. You -- since last time you were here,

you have a beautiful baby girl.

It was 14 months, right? -15 months now.

-15 months. Congratulations. -Thank you very much.

-That's so awesome. [ Cheers and applause ]

-Thanks so much. Congrats to you.

-Thank you. How do you -- how do you find parenthood so far?

-It's -- it's amazing, as you know.

It's incredible. It's also, you know,

you're always worried you're going to mess it up.

People talk a lot now about fake news,

and I always think, like, nobody has more fake news

than our 1-year-old girl. -Uh-huh.

-'Cause her only source for information is me and my wife.

-Uh-huh. -And we're, like, her Fox News.

Like -- we're the only information she gets.

It's wildly misleading and insane sometimes.

[ Laughter ]

But, like, we sing to her a lot,

and she thinks the lyrics to every song

is "something, something, nah, nah, nah."

[ Laughter ]

But it's -- but it's also fun 'cause --

and it's tempting sometimes to lie to her,

'cause you have that power.

Like, we have this big ceramic pig that somebody gave us.

It's, like, on a high shelf.

And sometimes, my wife and I will be like,

"Should we tell her that's God?"

[ Laughter ]

-'Cause she would take it. -Yeah.

-And then, I mean, I -- you know,

I don't know what it would do to her,

but it would be a fascinating thing.

[ Laughter ]

-Yeah. We lie all the time.

I -- my wife doesn't like when I lie to my son.

But I -- any time he asks for anyone that isn't in the room,

I just say they're sleeping. -That's great.

-He's like -- he's like, "Where's Mama?"

"Mama's sleeping. Everyone's sleeping.

Let's go to bed."

-He's gonna become a narcolepsy doctor.

-Yeah. [ Laughter ]

-Just like, "I need to fix this nightmare problem."

-This awful, awful problem. -Yeah.

-Congratulations on your seventh book,

which is incredible. -Thank you.

-And there are so many great short stories in here.

There was one that was printed in the "New Yorker"

that I actually texted you about, 'cause I love it so much.

Written from the perspective of Paul Revere's horse.

[ Light laughter ]

When did you get this idea,

and how quickly were you delighted by the logic

that that would follow out?

-I saw a statue of Paul Revere somewhere

and he was on this horse.

And Paul Revere looked very stately and dignified.

And the horse looked very unhappy.

[ Laughter ]

And I just started to think,

"Wouldn't it be fun to write a bitter,

tell-all celebrity memoir from the perspective of this horse?"

[ Laughter ] And he's justly upset

because, you know, Paul Revere, you know, "Midnight Ride,"

really famous.

But the horse, whose name is Oatsy,

really deserves more credit for the ride,

since he physically did all of the riding.

-Yeah. -And then in the end,

Paul just kind of yelled a thing.

And now, Paul Revere is -- has high schools named after him

and statues, and the horse has been turned into glue.

So, it seems completely unfair. -Yeah. It seems very unfair.

It was nice to read that story.

I really -- I took Oatsy's side hardcore on that one.

-Thank you. Thank you. -This is very exciting, as well.

You have a television show coming that's based on

one of your books, "Miracle Workers."

And Steve Buscemi plays God.

-Yes. -That's fantastic.

[ Laughter ]

-He's great. I can't wait for people to see it.

He's so funny on the show.

Yeah. He plays God as a -- a guy in a midst

of a full-blown midlife crisis.

He's the founder and CEO of Heaven Incorporated,

which is the gigantic corporation in the sky

that runs Earth, and it's a total mess.

He's got an inbox full of unanswered prayers

that are so messed up and weird

he can't even bear to look at them.

And, so, in the first episode,

he decides he's not gonna throw good money after bad,

he's going to blow up the Earth

and then open up a theme restaurant.

[ Laughter ]

And then Daniel Radcliffe plays one of the angels

who has to try to convince him not to do it.

-That's fantastic. What a wonderful premise.

And religion has always been something that I feel like

you've always found ripe for a comedy premise.

-Yes. That comes from growing up going to Hebrew school

and reading the Bible at a very early age,

which, if you actually read it,

it's -- it's pretty screwed up and violent and crazy.

But it is also -- it's also, through the right lens,

it can also be very funny.

For example, my -- my favorite story in the Bible

is when God appears to Abraham.

Abraham, according to the Bible, is 99 years old.

And God appears and says, "I'm the Lord, thy God."

So, Abraham is like "Whoa, okay."

And then the very next thing, God says,

without missing a beat is, "Circumcise your penis."

[ Laughter ]

He goes straight to it.

So, there's this 99-year-old man.

He's just met God, and now he's got to --

gotta do this thing.

And so, the whole Bible is just full of madness.

[ Laughter ] And I always thought, you know,

isn't it funny, you imagine somebody with all this power

who is a little bit irrational. -Yeah.

-And that's -- and that's why I'm so excited

we got to cast Steve Buscemi.

-That is a -- a perfect person to encapsulate that.

Thank you so much for being here, buddy.

Types of Nuts (Hardware) - Different Types of Nuts - Duration: 4:26.

A nut is a type of fastener with a threaded hole.

Nuts are almost always used in conjunction with a mating bolt to fasten multiple parts

together.

The two partners are kept together by a combination of their threads, friction with slight elastic

deformation, a slight stretching of the bolt, and compression of the parts to be held together.

In this video, I will going to discuss about Different types of Nuts and their applications.

Acorn Nuts or Cap Nuts.

An acorn nut or cap nut, also referred to as crown hex nut, blind nut, domed cap nut,

or dome nut , is a nut that has a domed end on one side.

When used together with a threaded fastener with an external male thread, the domed end

encloses the external thread of the threaded fastener, either to protect the thread itself

or to protect nearby objects from contact with the thread.

In addition, the dome gives a more finished appearance.

Flange Nuts.

A flange nut is a nut that has a wide flange at one end that acts as an integrated, non-spinning

washer.

This serves to distribute the pressure of the nut over the part being secured, reducing

the chance of damage to the part and making it less likely to loosen as a result of an

uneven fastening surface.

Castle Nuts.

A castellated nut, sometimes referred to as a castle nut, is a nut Used with cotter pins

to prevent loosening, a castellated nut, also called a castle or slotted nut, is a not with

slots cut into the top.

Used in low-torque applications such as holding a wheel bearing in place.

Coupling Nuts.

A coupling nut, also known as extension nut, is a threaded fastener for joining two male

threads, most commonly a threaded rod, but also pipes.

. The outside of the fastener is a hex so it can be driven with a wrench.

Hex Nuts.

Hex Nut is the most common hexagonal fastener with internal threads that screws on to the

shank of a bolt or a hex cap screw.

Keps-K Lock Nuts.

Also known as a keps nut, a k-nut or a washer nut, a keps-k lock nut has an attached free

spinning lock washer.

Keps nuts are designed to make assembly more convenient.

T-Nuts.

A t-nut or tee nut is used to fasten wood, particle or composite board leaving a flush

surface.

A long thin body with a flange at one end resembles a T in profile.

T-nuts often have 3 or 4 prongs that sink into the surface providing better retention.

Square Nuts.

A square nut is a four-sided nut.

Compared to standard hex nuts, square nuts have a greater surface in contact with the

part being fastened, and therefore provide greater resistance to loosening.

They are also much less likely to become rounded-off after repeated loosening or tightening cycles.

Square nuts are typically mated with square-headed bolts.

Knurled Thumb Nuts.

A knurled head thumb nut or thumb nut has a knurled outside surface rather than a hex,

which facilitates tightening by hand.

Often used in decorative finishes or applications.

Nylon Hex Lock Nuts.

A low profile lock nut is hex shaped, internally threaded with a nylon insert.

The nylon material prevents loosening from vibration and cross threads to stop the nut

from backing off of the fastener.

Wing Nuts.

Wing nuts are threaded nuts with wings on each side of the body allowing for manual

turning and installation.

Easy hand assembly and used when the nut needs to be removed often.
