what's up guys my name is Alex Creed and today I just really wanted to have a
quick discussion about the many problems that small creators like me have and why
most people quit and you know my experience so far in the YouTube
community so whenever you start off you really look at all these other youtubers
and most people that when they start off they look they compare themselves to
these other bigger youtubers and when they see how they're doing
they really get discouraged now most people quit because you know they don't
get the growth that they expect from YouTube and they expect to grow like
this or whatever right and I think that most people have to understand is that
there is no secret there is no there is no way to grow I mean most channels that
are small get discouraged because they feel like they're not growing fast
enough or because they're not good enough other things get in the way of
their life basically most people really quit YouTube basically because all
they're looking for is just basically money they just do it for the money or
fame or whatever that's freaking called I don't I don't I don't really see it as
Fame in a way I don't know why but in my perspective it just doesn't seem like
thing you know what I mean it just looks like something totally different in my
opinion it's just it's more like of a a number I guess in my eyes these are
basically the main things that kind of shut a person off and then makes them
not what I do YouTube if I didn't like doing any of this stuff honestly I would
have been gone a long time ago I don't really focus on the numbers I
would honestly be a hypocrite if I said that I didn't obsess over the numbers at
some point but like you know like anything everyone wants to better
themselves and that's and that's what I'm really trying to do I'm really
trying to make myself a better person but you know I just I just want to
better myself and really leave it in the past something I've noticed is that I've
really limited my creativity if you notice back in the day I used to make a
ton of those Minecraft videos you know but it just kind of happened like I
stayed in my comfort zone and I never really tried to do anything
you I would just like one of those kids that one of those millions of kids that
did Minecraft videos just like everybody else my creativity started to decrease
because I noticed that I wasn't really I wasn't really trying anything because it
was the same cookie cutter platform or a content that I would always make you
know make a video about hunger games posted 30 times or make a video about
skywars 30 times those are all those are different minecraft games by the way so
I would just basically play the same minigames over and over and over and
over and that has no creativity put into it you know what I mean in my point of
view I want to try out different games different and different everything you
know what I mean I mean I'm still a kid I'm 16 I'm still
learning you know but I do know that I want to make youtube my main thing I'm
not gonna stop doing it honestly like I might be gone for a
month once or I might be gone for all a long time one one day but I'm always
gonna keep coming back to YouTube like I remember back in my sophomore year I
really let a lot of things affect me and that really led me towards not you know
posting videos so I basically took a year off I would post like once a month
let's say but that's only so I don't seem like I'm completely dead but in
reality I basically took a break from YouTube my entire sophomore year I'm
about to be a junior but I'm hoping that I can really continue to do YouTube but
as a kid I'm pretty pretty limited at this point I do hope that maybe when I'm
older living on my own or you know I don't know I have my own little schedule
right or I can really arrange my own times I can really focus on YouTube
completely right now I'm trying to learn trying to post whatever I can but as a
kid you know we all have our limitations especially with like strict rules or
whatever or school but I just wanted to just really step back and like really
thank for that awesome experience that first experience
back in the Minecraft the Minecraft era the Minecraft there so back in my
minecraft era of my channel I really want to thank those people who like
those few people that you know still are with me today like
a few people that are in my discord or the few months that I have honestly it
means the world to me that there's still some people out there that really do
support me and you know really you know help me out and encourage me I
appreciate that so much so the experience has been amazing and I
hope that I continue to learn and I hope you guys enjoy the new type of content
I'm trying to make I'm trying to experiment like I said I've been saying
this a million times turn an experiment do new things I'm not dead I sort of got
I'm still here I'm always constantly thinking about YouTube constantly
thinking about what I want to make because it's so fun I don't know is it
fun for you I don't know if there's any other youtubers that I actually find
that fun is that weird now I swear I'm gonna try to keep these discussion
videos at a at a limited amount because I noticed I've been doing these a few
too many times and I really need focus on actually making the videos rather
than just talking about it so yeah but I just really wanted to you know get that
point across to you I hope I didn't blow my Chuck before so yeah I just wanted to
talk oh that's it I just wanted to talk about
all of this stuff so I can get it out of the way and just start making videos
because I just wanted to let everyone know how I feel so thank you so much for
