Hello guys this is Doronsmovies and today I will be talking

about Malfurion Stormrage and how powerful he is.

Going through his history very briefly and then covering his abilities.

So without further ado, let's get into the lore!

Malfurion grew up in Suramar together with his twin brother Illidan.

He was the first druid of the demigod Cenarius and the oldest mortal practitioner.

Stomrage was one of the first to realize that their Queen Azshara started becoming more

secretive.

He also saw a vision in the Emerald Dream that the night elven use of magic would lead

them to destruction.

Soon enough this turned out to be true and the War of the Ancients had begun.

Malfurion was one of the leaders of the resistance and possibly the most important figure of

the entire war.

Realizing that the only way to get rid of the Legion for good was to destroy the Well

of Eternity, this would cause a massive change in the history of Azeroth.

After the event known as the Sundering, the continents we have today were formed, Azshara

and her followers were defeated and the Burning Legion was vanquished.

Now as the threat was over, the Archdruid would become the new leader of the night elves.

Subsequently, he would banish most magic users, the Highborne and promote druidism, making

it a key component of their culture.

From that point forth Malfurion would then venture into the Emerald Dream to serve nature

while his partner Tyrande would lead.

For almost ten thousand years with minor breaks, Stormrage hibernated.

With the second Burning Legion invasion some twenty years back, Malfurion was once again

awoken.

After many battles the Shan'do would play possibly the most important role in the Third

War.

Luring Archimonde into Nordrassil, the world tree exploded destroying the demon as well

as putting an end to the invasion.

From that point forth the night elves would once again start rebuilding.

Then there would be many troubles with Malfurion being comatose due to Emerald Nightmare issues

and would only awaken prior to the Shattering.

Becoming a co-ruler of the night elves, he would now not only lead his people but also

greatly assist the world of Azeroth.

Malfurion with his own power kept Dakshore together with a massive swirling vortex of

air.

He then stopped the naga and the twilight hammer threat, subsequently venturing into

the Firelands, defeating the elemental lord Ragnaros.

Now during the Legion invasion he would play a very important role in once again fighting

the Emerald Nightmare as well as helping Cenarius, nature and us in the defeat of the Burning

Legion.

In battle for Azeroth the Archdruid is a crucial figure in the new conflict.

He led an army against the Horde invasion and even duelled Varok Saurfang, quickly defeating

him.

He would then fight against Sylvanas and the Horde forces, nearly killing the Warchief.

Subsequently Saurfang would heavily wound Malfurion but in the end sparing his life.

After that conflict, the Archdruid would recover in Stormwind and would now play a key role

in the Battle for Azeroth.

So with all this story how powerful is Malfurion Stomrage exactly?

Well in my opinion possibly one of the strongest entities currently on Azeroth.

Not only is he over ten thousand years old but there are just so, so many feats that

the Archdruid has accomplished, making him a seriously seasoned veteran.

It is worth noting that Malfurion was taught directly by Cenarius and was the first night

elven druid.

It was said that he learned everything there is to learn about druidism and that not even

the Dragon aspects could teach him anything.

This definitely makes sense as he had spent so many millennia within the Emerald Dream

connecting with the nature, becoming one of its greatest servants.

The power that he possesses is unlike any other druid currently alive.

Malfurion played a massive part in the War of the the Ancients.

He struck down Hakkar the Houndmaster with a lighting storm, drowned an army and then

in the last battle casted a massive wind that ripped all demons from the ground and sent

them on a one way trip into the Well of Eternity.

Then he participated in the actual destruction of the Well of Eternity leading to the Sundering,

the defeat of Sargeras as well as the change of the entire planet.

A few thousand years later he experimented with the feral worgen form, subsequently banning

it and exiling druids that practiced it.

Then in the second Burning Legion invasion he very easily rooted Illidan and in the end

defeated Archimonde by manipulating nature, spirits and the world tree to cause a massive

explosion.

Then in the Emerald Nightmare Malfurion defeated many foes and subsequently utilized the energy

of the material plane and the Emerald Dream to cleanse Azeroth from the Nightmare which

was a massive, massive achievement.

As Malfurion got back to regular life and the Cataclysm began, Darkshore was hit very

hard.

So the druid got into the epicenter and using his power managed to contain the entire zone

through a vortex, which in itself shows how ridiculously powerful Malfurion is.

In Legion he helps us against corrupted Cenarius, ultimately assisting in the defeat of the

Nightmare once again and the Burning Legion.

Now in Battle for Azeroth we have seen his power first-hand.

He easily deals with Saurfang rooting him then blinds Sylvanas and her forces with Sunfire.

Later he duels against Sylvanas and nearly kills her only to be struck in the back by

Saurfang.

This lead him closest to death then he ever was but in the end the orc spares him as he

saw what he did as a dishonourable act.

Still in a nature settings, Malfurion is nearing demigod strength.

He is the strongest druid on Azeroth and the oldest one as well and has immense power at

his disposal as nature is all around.

He can summon thunderstorms, hurricanes, root enemies, summon treants, drown enemies, instantly

grow trees to spike through foes and various other abilities.

It is without a doubt that Malfurion Stormrage is not only one of the strongest members of

the Alliance but one of the strongest 'mortals' on the entirety of Azeroth.

Historically in my life, I have noticed that when it looked the furthest away, and the

least possible and there was a greatest adversity that was the very moment that God got ready

to bless me, it's not when it looks like it's gonna happen, it's when it looks like there's

no way in the world that it can happen that God does it.

For instance I could see how God could merge these two cultures between the Israelites

and the Egyptians when Joseph was alive.

After all Joseph was favored by the Egyptians, he was preferred by the Pharaoh, he had risen

to power, he had solved the famine issue,

he was responsible for the growth, the national growth of the Egyptian people.

Had it not been for Joseph, keep that in the back of your mind, had not been for Joseph,

Egypt would have gone bankrupt in the famine and died, but because of a strategy that Joseph

gave the nation they were able to persevere so that the gross national economy was dependent

and predicated

upon that that the man of God had done.

Isn't that funny?

How you can go from an inmate someday, to a position of power the next day.

You, you can't let where you start define where you're going.

Joseph ended up in a position of power.

But there's something that you have to understand about blessing people, when you bless people

they have a short memory.

You have to understand that if you're gonna be philanthropic, people are grateful for

about 24 hours and then after that they forget you the moment you stop doing exactly what

they want you to do, you could have done it five times before,

but the very time you have to say no they it's like amnesia comes on it's like a narcotic

gets out of it's like they have Alzheimer's, they forget all that, the Bible said that

they did good until there was a pharaoh who rose up, who did not know Joseph nor his God.

And all of a sudden they forgot everything that Joseph had done and all of a sudden the

children of Israel have become slaves.

And that doesn't look like greatness, and they're being beaten and they're being raped,

and they're being abused, and that doesn't look like greatness.

And now a person has been positioned into power who has no respect for their culture,

for their people or their God.

They couldn't have been farther away from becoming

what God had promised them to become.

And in fact the Bible says, that the Egyptians who had enslaved Hebrews, are now afraid of

their own slaves.

And yet God allowed them to go through this crazy situation, because in the middle of

their affliction, the more the children of Egypt afflicted them, the more the children

of Israel grew.

Now the only people I have to preach this to, is people who have not been afflicted.

Because if you have never been afflicted in any way, you already understand that there's

some crazy principle that operates that when life gets hard and tough and you feel like

you're at the breaking point, and you're all bent over and you're about to die,

there's something about being at that point that instead of going under you go over, instead

of going weaker, you get stronger.

Instead of fainting you start fighting, instead of giving up, you start going forward.

My God, my God, my God, never fight anybody who's been through hell and high, because

it make them tough and it makes them tenacious.

it makes them radical, are there any radical people in this place this morning?

How do you know you're going well?

When the thing that used to bother me, doesn't bother me anymore.

And the thing that used to throw me, doesn't throw me anymore.

That means I'm growing.

Well, what they meant, what they designed, to oppress the people, empowered the people.

So instead of getting lesser, they were increasing and becoming stronger.

The more they afflicted them, the more they grew.

So since that didn't work, this is why you go from one test to another.

When you pass a test, the sign of passing the test, is facing another test.

Because when you face another test, it is a sign that your adversary is running out

of tricks.

He says since that didn't work, I'm gonna try something else on you.

So he made a deal with the midwives, and said to the midwives, okay afflicting them ain't

working.

See because, here's the problem, when we pressured them on the outside, they huddled together

on the inside.

The more pressure mounts externally, the more they draw strength from each other.

Which made them intimate, which made them pregnant.

Which made children's church grow, because when things are tough on the outside, you

automatically run to where it is not tough to receive strength.

It'll make you connect on another level.

They didn't get it.

External pressure increases internal strength.

So when God gets ready to build you up, He allows things to happen on the outside, so

that you can rely on the strength on the inside.

And you start getting strong because you don't need outside help anymore.

People say you're acting funny but you're not acting funny, you are just getting to

the place that the things that you used to need,

you don't have to help me I'm not looking for somebody to carry me, I'll carry myself.

If I made it through January, I could make through February.

I've made it to March, I can make it through April.

If made it to April, I can make it to May.

And if you don't come by June, I ain't think about you in July,

because the same God that brought me through back then...

August 28, 2018 | Tuesdays With Terry | Orphan's Promise - Duration: 6:43.

I know that so many of you are kind enough to join us weekly to find out

what's going on with Orphan's Promise from week to week day to day, but there

are many of you who follow us now that might not know the why behind what we do

and so I'd like to take you back for just a moment to the beginning to tell

you how all of this started and came to the place that it's at today.

People often ask me "How did you start Orphan's Promise?" I just smile and say it

was God I'd be crazy to do anything this big on

my own. I've met children all around the world as I've traveled with our camera

crews how can you be with these children and not want to help them but you know

they need more than just food clothing and shelter every child wants to know

that they're wanted and that they have somewhere to belong. But my Orphan's

Promise adventure really started back home in Virginia Beach, Virginia. During a

television interview a couple told me about three sisters they'd met in a

Ukrainian orphanage. The couple was approved to adopt only two children, so

the oldest sister said she would stay behind so her two younger sisters would

have the opportunity to have a real family. Tears filled my eyes as I heard

this. What type of child is willing to make such a sacrifice? I couldn't get it

out of my thoughts. I prayed God bring a family to adopt those girls. Little did I

know, it would be my own. But our willingness

to embrace another adoption didn't happen overnight. I already had four

children, two of whom are adopted. Imagine the chaos of seven! My husband Andy and I

clearly felt God calling us to become parents to these three little girls, but

to be honest I was looking for someone who would say 'Terry, are you insane? Go

drink a strong cup of coffee and forget about it!' but everyone I confided in

believed God was giving us an incredible opportunity. Still, I struggled with God's

calling. God I don't think I can do this. I just thought I'm not big enough for

this. This is a huge job and I... it's too important

You know? If I blow this, I mean, are they suffering in the orphanage? Yes, but Wow

God I mean I don't know how to do this. I don't know how to how to be everything

they probably need us to be...and we're not perfect parents in any way and

I felt like God kind of chuckled and said, 'You're not gonna do this. I'm gonna

do this and you're just, you're gonna come with me.'

So with God's promise to help, we added three wonderful Ukrainian girls to our

family. Sophia age 9, Zoya 11, and Alysa 12. Alysa came up and

gave me a big hug and she whispered something in Russian in my ear and the

translator happened to be standing and she said, 'Thank you for coming.'

because I think she gets it, you know? She understands that they were,

they were in a dark place without light, and there was redemption for them, not

because of us, but because God has a plan and purpose for their lives. While it has

been fulfilling I won't tell you that it's always been easy. At first there

were language and cultural barriers and later, profound emotional healing as we

dealt with the traumas of their past. Rejection, abuse, violence and death. I

slowly realized why God asked us to rescue these girls and I'm so glad we

said yes. And still God had more on the horizon.

Three years after the adoption, I took the girls back to the orphanage in

Ukraine to see their friends. It was a grand reunion for all of us, but

in a few short days it was time for tearful goodbyes. What about all these

children who are left behind? God deposited something new in my heart

that day. I knew this God adventure was about more than just saving three girls

in an orphanage... "It was about having a vision for Ukraine. It was about

seeing things from an eternal perspective through God's eyes and

putting aside my convenience and my comfort to grab hold of what God was

doing. When you grab hold of God, you never know where he might take you. Fast

forward my vision for Ukraine has exploded into God's infinitely larger

plan. A ministry called Orphan's Promise, that now reaches

children in 61 countries and counting. Orphan's Promise grew out of a

willingness to first listen to God and then say "yes"

each time he expanded the adventure and brought new opportunities along.

I want to invite you to be a God-adventurer too.

It may mean being inconvenienced. You might have to put your plans and your

comforts aside for a while, but can I tell you today that you and I were

created for this? So don't just stand by and watch. Please join me through Orphan's Promise,

because these beautiful children need you.

So that was then and this is

now and sometimes it's hard for me to even realize how much time has gone by.

But my three youngest daughters are now 25, 27 and 29 and the time that we have

had together as family has been so wonderful, but it's also made me realize

how much bigger the problem is than we even realized when we set out to begin

Orphan's Promise. In the beginning it was just training centers for kids aging out

of orphanages in Ukraine....today we have more than 200 projects in 60+

countries helping hundreds of thousands of kids every year. I want to

say thank you for making that possible. It was a God adventure for sure from the

beginning, but it's been God's provision through you that's allowed it to thrive

and to grow and to continue to where it is today. Let's continue to make it

bigger. Let's continue to reach out to more kids, to teach them to hope, to dream

and that there really is a place for them to belong. I appreciate you all so
