Waching daily Aug 5 2018

The world is a dirty place to live in.

No, we are not referring to the sins, but we are talking about the diseases.

Billions of bacteria, virus, fungi and protozoa exist on earth.

There is a high probability that we could get infected by them.

These disease causing germs are found in unclean places.

But what comes as a surprise, though, is that they are also found on objects and places

we use every day!

Here are the 10 of the dirtiest things you touch every day!

Number 10.

Door Knobs It is one of the filthiest of places, yet

you were clueless about it, right?

Have a look at the size of the door knob.

That space is enough for millions of pathogens to party!

Modern knobs usually have bacteria resistant surfaces, but with the passage of time the

protection wears off.

Now you can easily imagine how grimy the older non-resistant door knobs must be.

But where do these germs come from?

From the millions of hands that touch it!

The public bathroom doors are the worst ones… ewww!

In fact, door handles are one of the most common places for harmful germs and bacteria.

E.coli, Staphylococcus, Aureas, plus innumerable fungi and viruses, you name it and these knobs

have it!

Number 9.

Fridge Handles Just like the door knobs have been touched

by many people, fridge handles also experience contact by multiple persons.

However, this is not the only case of infestation.

Moreover, let's be honest with ourselves.

How often do we clean the fridge?

Not many times.

And what about the handles?

Probably never!

The handles are often contaminated with the bacteria that live off on poultry, pork and

vegetables.

Several areas in the fridge are also infected with rhinovirus.

These germs thrive more when you touch the handles without rinsing your hand.

It would be advisable to clean them once in a while.

Number 8.

ATM Machines Researches conducted by various universities

have made a shocking discovery.

They have found that ATM machines have high levels of bacteria.

These are – bacillus, salmonella and pseudomonads.

These pathogens are notorious for causing sickness and diarrhea.

But that's not all.

These are the same bacteria that infest public toilets.

So next time you reach to punch in your PIN number on the electronic dial, remember that

the surface is as crappy as toilet rim!

Clean your hands with a sanitizer after you have used an ATM.

Number 7.

Remote Controls Of All Kinds Be it your TV remote, home theater remote,

AC remote or the remote to the garage, each of these objects is loaded with disease causing

micro-organisms.

But remember, the cleanliness of your remote control depends directly upon your own personal

hygiene.

Their cracks and crevices are ideal breeding grounds for microbes, spores, and bodily fluids.

But the worst ones are the public remotes, the ones that are found in hospitals, hotels

and restaurants.

Studies have shown that the public remotes contain traces of semen, urine, and even SARS.

Oh God!

That's so gross!

Don't forget to wash your hands with an antiseptic after you have touched one of these

items.

Number 6.

Toilet Seat Now this one needs no explanation.

It is by far one of the most disgusting and nastiest places to come in contact with.

It is even more dangerous to sit on a public toilet to do your business.

In fact, you will be shocked to find out what types of microbes reside on it.

Strains of antibiotic-resistant staphylococcus or flesh-eating bacteria, norovirus or the

cruise ship bug, E. coli, shigella and streptococcus are found on this damn seat!

You could even catch the deadly Ebola virus from this sick critter.

So if you want to save yourself from dying a painful death, just use those antiseptic

wipes.

They are the easiest and the cheapest way to cut the risk by 50 percent.

Number 5.

Cell Phone Yes, it's hard to believe, but it's true.

Your cellphone or your smartphone is dirtier than your toilet seat.

Not that you place your ass on your phone, but they are excellent habitats for disease

causing microbes.

Why?

One of the reasons is that your phones are generally warm.

These microscopic organisms require a comfortable temperature to multiply and the moderate amount

of heat is apt for them.

Moreover, the crevices act as excellent residual sites for treptococcus, Staphylococcus, and

Corynebacterium families.

Recent studies in the United Kingdom have revealed that some cell phones can cause anything

from skin infections to meningitis.

Number 4.

Money Ever heard of the saying, Capitalism is a

disease?

Well, that may not be the case here.

But the root cause of capitalism, money, can most certainly cause a disease.

In fact, the smaller the denomination, the dirtier you can expect it to be.

The one dollar bills carry the most infectious of germs.

How often they change hands!

No wonder, they are so toxic!

Researchers examined a random sample stash of paper money at the Wright Patterson Medical

Center in Ohio.

They contain organisms in extreme number that can cause HIV or cancer patients some deadly

issues.

What would be the wisest way out of this situation?

Go cashless!

Number 3.The Computer's Keyboard Didn't wash your hands after playing Call

of Duty?

Then you might as well just never wash your hands after visiting an internet café.

Make sure you don't do this; otherwise you are compromising your immune system big time.

When it comes to germ infestations, those keyboards are the most culpable of the hardware.

The germs live grandly in the crevices of the keys.

They can even find their way to the keyboard processors and circuitry.

Bacteria like staph and E. coli flourish on these surfaces.

Number 2.

Swings In Neighborhood Playgrounds Nothing, and we mean, nothing on this planet

is dirtier than a kindergartner's school or neighborhood playground.

All the pathogens that we have mentioned up till now in this video are found on the playground.

It could be more toxic if any surface, be it the swings or the grass, has animal pee

or poop.

Now you can easily comprehend the situation, isn't it?

The deadly cocktail of germs that could come in contact of your toddler could kill him

or her.

Isn't it terrifying?

Better give the kid a warm antiseptic bath after they return home.

Number 1.Your Mouth Yes, you heard that right!

These germs that we have come across in this list, came from one single place.

The human mouth!

Millions of bacteria exist in here per square inch.

Over 700 different species of bacteria reside in your own mouth.

But all of them are not bad.

In fact, some of these dudes are "good" bacteria that aid the biochemical processes

in the body.

They help you to digest your food.

They assist in fighting off all the bad germs by strengthening your immunity.

Still, it would be wise to maintain the optimum level of oral hygiene, if you want to lead

a healthy life.

The bad bacteria can cause anything from a toothache to gingivitis.

So, are there any dirty daily use objects that you feel should be included on this list?

Refreshing FREE vocabulary lesson: 'petrichor' /ˈpɛtrɪkɔːr/ (captions / subtitles) - Duration: 1:00.

Hello, everyone. My name is Chris. I'm the teacher on Learn British English Free on

YouTube and the British English Page on Facebook. New vocabulary - 'petrichor'

'petrichor' - we're having heat waves in the UK this summer; also in Spain and

Portugal especially right now. Petrichor is the name for the smell of rain on dry,

hot ground. It's unusual vocabulary - we are fascinated with it and I'm sure

we'll all be smelling it at some point in the near future I hope. 'petrichor'

example: 'I love the smell of petrichor in the morning' - it's a sort of joke of a

famous quote. Anyway, thanks for watching. 'petrichor' - I hope to smell it soon.

Take care. Cheers

How to Become a Billionaire - Duration: 11:06.

(singing) I wanna be a billionaire...

(singing, technically) So freaking baaad

And maybe you do too.

The idea of becoming richer is so ingrained in US culture

that it's actually the central theme of the American dream.

The idea of the American Dream is of course that anyone

from any background can get to the top of American society.

But you don't have to take his word for it. Listen to these politicians try to sell you on it.

The condition of your birth does not determine the outcome of your life in this country.

We have never been a nation of haves and have-nots.

We are a nation of haves and soon-to-haves.

Or look at music and movies from literally any decade.

(singing) And if I had a million dollars

(singing) If I had a million dollars

Show me the money!

Show me the moneeeey!

Bling bling. Every time I buy a new ride -- Bling bling.

Hey, fam. I'm Imaeyen, and this Sunday we're explaining how to become a billionaire,

Your odds of becoming the next Jeff Bezos,

And how you can acquire so much wealth, you'll never ever have to worry about saving money

by filling your gas tank only half way so you can drive to work to film a video all about becoming a billionaire.

Yaaaaaay, let's do this!

If you're watching this video, then you're probably in the top 100% of all income earners.

And you want to get into an even more exclusive tier.

There was a time when a million dollars was big money.

Like that time there was a show dedicated to that premise.

Okay, you ready?

Yes.

Ok, here we go, let's play "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?"

(dramatic music)

Now a million bucks is just something a billionaire feels like when he's sick.

The sad truth is that from the perspective of very rich people today, a million dollars is not a lot of money.

That's venture capitalist and early Amazon investor Nick Hanauer.

And he's one of the more than 1,500 billionaires globally.

It's a very exclusive and elusive club that includes these names:

Cue money music!

(baller music plays)

The billionaire crew is a group where right now there are 8 people who have as much money

as 3.6 billion of the world's poorest people.

Hanauer says that type of income disparity is bad for the wealthy and the poor

The challenge for business owners of wealth inequality

is that if most people have no money, then who will buy the stuff?

Sometimes it can be difficult to visualize just how big the financial discrepancy is.

Trigger Warning!

I'm about to break down just how much money you'd have to have to be a billionaire.

The average income for the top 1% is more than 1.1 million dollars.

It's about 554 dollars per hour for a typical work week.

And that's just the 1 percent's earnings.

Billionaires are the top .00001%

They're making way more than that petty 554 dollars an hour.

Let me give you some examples.

Legendary investor Warren Buffett made what averaged out to be about $25,694 per minute in 2013.

If that was your hourly rate, you could retire a millionaire in just...

40 minutes.

Hashtag retirement goals.

Here's president Donald Trump's favorite billionaire campaign callout in 2016.

I have Carl Icahn's already endorsed me.

Well, he made a lot less than Buffett -- just 14,492 dollars per minute, which makes him -- wait for it...

Still a billionaire.

Meanwhile, the federal minimum wage is 7 dollars and 25 cents per hour.

It'll probably take less than 25 years for the world to get its first trillionaire,

And it'll likely be either this guy or that guy

Economist Mark Blyth says that's a problem.

If I'm a trillionaire and I can buy politics, and we live in a democracy?

That's a problem.

Before you get to trillions, you have to make a pitstop at billions

How easy is it for you to meet Bezos in the billionaire baller bracket?

Well, wikiHow says it's as simple as a 3-part plan,

which includes creating opportunities,

investing in a business,

and maintaining wealth.

What the article seems to imply is that everyone working on being in the 3-comma club

is already in the 2-comma club

But most people aren't.

And the real very first step to being a billionaire

is taking a look at where you're starting

according to Richard Wilkinson, who's spent his entire career studying wealth.

In countries of bigger income difference,

a father's income is a much more important determinant of how well children do.

So the tendency for rich fathers to have rich sons and poor fathers to have poor sons

is much stronger in more unequal societies.

Got it.

Classic life hack:

Have wealthy parents.

And certainly if you take a look at the life paths of the wealthiest people in our country,

not a one of them started at the bottom.

From Bill Gates to Jeff Bezos to Sergey Brin to Larry Page

You know, these are people who came from families with resources, stability, and privilege.

There are so many ways it's easy for wealthier people to make money versus their less rich counterparts

They have the benefits of financial safety nets if investments fail.

And they sometimes decide their own salary.

Think powerful CEOs

The average CEO makes 271 times what the average worker earns.

The gap between CEOs at the top and the average worker in the same company

has increased enormously over time.

And it looks as if CEOs' incomes are not related to company performance.

A discussion about acquiring vast, golden, diamond-encrusted mountains of wealth

is also a conversation about income inequality.

And good display of how this wealth gap has developed starts in the post-World War 2 era.

(1940s radio voice) And the return of happier days.

(back to Imaeyen's voice) Earnings grew fast.

And at the same rate on all rungs of the income ladder.

If you adjust for inflation, the money doubled.

The gap between people higher and lower on the income ladder

was still substantial, but the disparity didn't actually change much during those decades.

Then the economic slowdown of the 1970s happened.

(1970s news anchor voice) A long line because the recession here has caused a 10 percent jump

each month in the number of those needing help.

Those at the top continued to see their dollars grow,

but the middle and lower income households saw their gains drop sharply.

The disparity between the groups got bigger,

which means you'll need to have stronger thighs to jump across that wage gap.

There's basically been a slowdown to complete halt in terms of mobility between classes in the United States.

It's as if the social ladder was much steeper or the rungs on the ladder further apart.

Check out this chart.

It shows just how much and how quickly

in the last 40 years the divide between the haves

and Marco Rubio's so-called "soon-to-haves"

has ballooned.

The data basically says the easiest and most recommended way to become a billionaire...

Is to be a multimillionaire.

The American Dream is based upon the idea that everyone and anyone in the US

has an equal opportunity to gain success and prosperity.

It's code for "You too can be rich!"

But for regular people, how much do the stats support the implication of the American Dream?

How realistic is the American Dream? Wow, well, most dreams are not very realistic, are they?

The US is behind countries like Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Spain when it comes to social mobility.

Our Northern neighbor, Canada, is better at seeing people rise in wealth and class.

Even the developing nation of Pakistan is beating us in this department.

The US has many obstacles that disproportionately keep the poor from gaining wealth.

There are payday lenders targeting the less financially flexible,

And charging them interest rates as high as 1,900 percent;

credit card companies wooing applicants who aren't fiscally stable enough to pay on time,

and charging them higher interest rates;

and banks charging late fees and overdraft fees that can bleed already anemic accounts.

It is extraordinarily expensive to be poor.

It is expensive and difficult, for instance, not to own your own car.

It is expensive to need to live far from your job because housing prices near your job are prohibitively expensive.

The poor often regard themselves as poor because they didn't have what it took.

People don't understand the wider social, environmental impact of inequality and social status.

Now impoverished people are 20 times less likely than they were in 2001

to believe that hard work will get them ahead,

and only 38 percent of Americans believe that their children will have a better life than they've had.

There are so many other statistics we could include,

like how race and gender affect people's average income earnings and chances of moving up.

That literally could be an entirely separate video,

and luckily we've already made those videos and have linked to them below.

And by the way, we tried to get commentary from literally all the minority women billionaires in America,

but we couldn't get ahold of Oprah.

But one thing you should know is that your quest to become a billionaire

may be affected by your political leanings.

66 percent of Republicans and those who lean right say hard work,

instead of a person's advantages,

have more to do with why they're rich.

Democrats and those that lean left feel the exact opposite.

60 percent say a person is rich because they've had more advantages than others

as opposed to just working hard.

There are a bunch of extraordinarily hardworking people in our society that are desperately poor

and kept that way for structural reasons, and there are a ton of people in our society who are enormously rich

who are lazy, good-for-nothing clowns and got rich because they were in the way of some

tidal wave of money, or they inherited, or got lucky.

The truth is that making the move to billionaire status isn't easy

unless you or your family are already multimillionaires.

And if you're not in the upper class, what you'll need to make it to the next stage of wealth

is much more than those above you.

We've spent so much time in this video talking about how to become a billionaire,

but the real question may be if you should become one.

Bigger income differences damages the health of the whole population.

You also see much higher rates of violence.

I think that it's very unethical to have these enormously inflated salaries at the top.

In the context of our economy today,

having people who are worth that much money is almost certainly a failure of policy and morality.

THE GREATEST DRUMMERS EP 1 - CHAD SMITH - REYNALDRUMS - Duration: 4:19.

hey I'm Reynaldrums and today on greatest drummers episode number one what

makes Chad Smith one of the greatest

Born October 25 1961 this American drummer best known for being the

drummer for the funk band Red Hot Chili Peppers he has also worked with artists

such as Kid Rock Johnny Cash and Joe Satriani

but what makes Chad Smith one of the greatest drummers here are five things

that makes him one of the greatest

number one the feel Chad Smith Playing is all about the perfect feel for the

perfect song no matter if it is a slow song or if it's a really powerful and energetic one

number two he doesn't overdo it we've heard a lot of drummers trying to fit as many

notes as possible or just trying to show off when a certain part comes but then

Chad Smith plays just the right amount of notes the right amount of techniques

in order to feel the Song either is the snare displacement on soul to squeeze

or the ghost notes on Californication

number three he is a team player he once said that he listens to his bandmates

and then he listens what his bandmates are doing accenting the parts they're doing

creating these unique Chad Smith Red Hot Chili Peppers sound but being a team

player doesn't mean he plays all the time number four he gives enough space to

his band members he gives a space for the songs to breath so the song sounds

balance and not overwhelmed with techniques of drum riffs or just a lot

of drumming parts on their songs he's able to combine perfectly the intensity

of the riffs for the songs and that doesn't mean he always has to play

and finally number five he keeps the beat

he holds the groove it's really complicated for a drummer to just play in

time and just give this sense of continuity for the song also while he

is playing who keeps rocking his left foot which is really complicated to do

when you play and that is one of the hardest things to do while playing drums

this is why I think Chad Smith is one of the greatest drummers playing out there

can you play one of the Red Hot Chili Pepper songs comment and send me a video

of you playing and I'll show you on the next video also follow the subreddit and let

me know who you think is one of the greatest drummers out there I'm Reynaldrums

and this is The Greatest Drummer goodbye

LEGO Suicide Squad...Kinda - Duration: 5:21.

Yeesh. And I thought Arkham was a dump.

Remember, we get in, get the target, and get out.

Well, easier said than done.

We lost enough of the team as it is, I don't wanna be next.

I do not fear for our safety.

No mere mortal could contend with my Soultaker blade.

Just as long as I get to kill somebody, I'm game.

Well, hello there!

Mr. J?

Harley. Long time no see.

Hate to break up the reunion, but we've got a job to do.

Yeah, so sorry Mister J, but we're gonna have to take you in.

Oh yes, I understand,

but before that, let me introduce you to my friends.

I'll leave you guys to get acquainted with each other.

[Maniacal Joker Laughter]

Let's play.

Yeah, this is what I'm talking about.

Thanks for the help boss.

Hey!

Perhaps we should stop bickering and go after the Joker.

I don't usually say this, but the sheila's right.

Sorry.

Well, well. It looks like you and your team of losers actually did something right for once.

Hey! Who you callin' a loser?!

You know what? You're right, that was a cheap shot.

And so's this!

Oh, come on, that's not fair.

It's over, Joker.

Oh really? That's a good one.

You think I'm joking?

Well, of course.

I mean come on, do you really think you can just take me in?

No, of course not.

Because I'm sure you're all aware that every time someone puts me away,

I always break out again.

It's life's greatest joke.

No.

The only way you'll ever be able to stop me is if you kill me.

And we both know that's never going to happen.

I mean, even Batman has never killed me.

Wait a minute.

Batman never killed you?

Hasn't he been killing people left right and center?

Yeah.

In fact, just last week my buddy Bob and I were doing a job,

when suddenly Batman came over in his Batmobile,

and started shooting at our car!

I got out, but then he blew up the car!

Bob was still inside, and then he just started dragging it around!

If he kills regular thugs, then why wouldn't he kill the guy who's murdered like 500 people?

Oh please, 500?

Those are amateur numbers, buddy.

Yeah, so why hasn't he killed you yet.

He could've done it years ago.

Beats me. But you know what? It's pretty funny.

The Batman kills every criminal in his path, except the one who does nothing but kill.

[Maniacal Joker Laughter]

I'm Batman.

You killed him.

Yeah. That's what you wanted, right?

No, no, no. No one wants you to kill people.

But it makes me cool and edgy.

That's what the fans want.

No, the fans want a Batman who stays true to the nature of Batman.

Who doesn't kill unless he has to.

But Zack Snyder thinks it's cool.

I got this, guys.

Hey B-Man.

Martha.

Why did you say that name?!

Why did you say that name?!

Ha! Works every time.

You know, I was promised that I'd get to kill someone.

If it's not The Joker...

Well, I think we've learned something here today.

It's that no one likes a Batman who kills.
