you've probably heard this many times
before you have the potential to do
anything you want and to become whoever
you decide to become you are capable of
fulfilling all of your dreams and
desires every single one of them you're
the only one who can stop yourself from
succeeding in life now that you have
been told it is possible you can achieve
whatever you want in life
do you believe do you believe that it's
possible for you to create your own
dream life not the life that you were
given when you were born but your own
dream life what's stopping you from
achieving it what's stopping you from
turning your dreams into reality
a recent study reported that over 50% of
Americans hates their job over 50% hates
what they do for the majority of their
time on planet earth they wake up in the
morning knowing that they have to go to
a job that they hate this is not only
happening in America it's happening all
around the world I think deep down all
of these people know they are capable of
living a better life
capable of earning better money and
doing things they enjoy in they are
willing to work for you but what stop
these people from living their dream
life think about a balloon filled with
helium there's absolutely no limits for
a balloon filled with helium unless it
were tied to something if the balloon is
tied to something then it's impossible
for it to reach the sky it is impossible
for it to reach its highest possible
level that's the only limitation of
aloneness the same thing can be compared
to you and your life you are limitless
just like the balloon your limitation is
not visible you're not tied down like
the balloon the only thing that ever
stops you from reaching the sky is
yourself
if you've limit yourself if you sell for
less than your work if you listen to
others and downgrade your expectations
to fit into this world then you will
never reach the heights you know you
deserve you are not born with
limitations you develop them through
your life experience but you can decide
now to develop new beliefs a belief that
you can have whatever you want in life
if you are prepared to work for it that
you can have whatever you want in life
if you are prepared to learn what is
required to happen
imagine what you could achieve if you
believe you were limitless imagine what
you could do if you just ignored that
voice in your head that tells you that
you can't do it I don't think failure as
E and I refuse to let setbacks or
mistakes stop me from reaching my goals
in life
I know responsible for my dream
responsible for my results because I am
the only one who can stop me from
turning my dreams into a reality I have
the power to make my dream
I have the choice to decide if I will
work hard full or just set have the
choice to see our back you go life those
who succeed don't believe in limits they
study until they understand they don't
give up when they experience depth they
don't give up when it's hard they do not
give up full stop and they keep working
hard even if they've been rejected they
keep at it
they keep searching for new
opportunities that's exactly how you
have to be life is hard and you'll never
get far if you limit yourself in
anything you do I have the power to make
my dream happy I have a choice to decide
if I will work hard for or just said
this is your life live it to your
fullest potential you can't change your
past but you do have the power to change
your future

as epictetus said he is a wise man who
does not grieve for things which he has
not but rejoices for those which he has
and that's gratitude isn't it it's the
very base decision that we all have to
make are you grateful for the things you
have in your life or are you always
wanting more and trust me I get it I
understand people that strive for more I
understand people that want something
bigger and better but at the same time
if you allow yourself to only think
about what you don't have to only be
striving for something more that that
obsession will begin to overtake you it
will begin to corrode you but ultimately
it's a choice ultimately at any time
right now in this moment you can stop
and think about what you have you can
put your attention on the things you're
grateful for and watch what it does
watch what it does in that instance the
way that it changes you the way that it
changes your chemistry your feelings in
a moment can shift from negative and
dark to beautiful with nothing else
changing around you nothing but you
deciding that you're gonna focus on the
things you're grateful for nothing but
deciding that there are things in your
life to be grateful for and that is a
decision no matter what is happening in
your life at any moment right now in the
depths of a depression in something
going on terribly in your life you can
choose right now to think about the
things you're grateful for the breeze a
smile from somebody kind a stranger who
holds open a door for you anything but
it's a choice and as Einstein said there
are only two ways to live your life one
is as though nothing is a miracle the
other is as though everything is a
miracle and what choice are you making
what are you choosing to focus on right
now do you let gratitude fill you up or
not and here's the critical part and I
want you to listen to this really well
whatever you decide whether you decide
we lived in a
of miracles or whether you decide to
live in a world devoid of miracles you
are choosing one thing to the exclusion
of the other and when you focus on
something that you're grateful for when
you look at those little moments in your
life and choose to see them as grand
miracles even when it is only a gentle
hand on your shoulder easing then it's
only a kiss from somebody who you've
kissed a thousand times before even when
it is only holding the hand of somebody
who needed their hand held even when
it's something that simple

it really is a miracle that it really is
something that can fill you it really is
something that will change your
chemistry bring a connection between two
people allow you to see a grander Vista
or even just open a window and look out
at the world and realize that you're
alive that this is all a miracle that
none of this is guaranteed that every
breath you take could be your last and
in that you can choose to cherish what
you have in that you can decide to focus
on that you have a breath to take and
even when it's something that simple
when you train your mind to do that when
you train yourself to decide to see the
beauty in that that nobody can ever take
it away from you and matter where you
are no matter what's going on in your
life you'll be able to rise up and feel
the beauty that is being alive so take a
minute at the worst times in your life
and focus on the things you're grateful
