Hello everybody, I am Disha and I'm here to transform your house into a home.
And today I'm sharing some Diwali DIYs since 18% of you voted for it.
and this Diwali you can decorate your home without worrying about your walls
without hurting and torturing them.
because this video is in association with 3M Command
and together we bring you some amazing stuff.
So let's begin!!
For this DIY, I have taken one clay plate and a clay diya
and then I stuck this diya to the plate using hot glue
but that idea was not feasible. The diya came off after the glue dried.
So I used shilpkar clay/M-seal to fix it
and in a same way I used shilpkar to fix the hook at the back of this plate.
and then I drew some Rangoli pattern on the tawa(Plate)
and then applied glue
and then I used Rangoli powder
my Rangoli powder has some shine in it so it looks quite magical.
so this way I kept filling the color, one side at a time.
so that color doesn't mix or smudge
I kept filling the colors until the Rangoli was complete.
and in the end I used this golden color
and to finish it off, I used glitter pens.
The plate sconce is ready. Now time to hang it on the wall.
I have already stuck this hook at the back of this plate.
So I'm gonna use this Command universal picture hanger
this is the picture hanger.
All the instructions are given on the back of every pack
How to apply and how to remove it.
So this is the adhesive strip, I'll just remove the red liner
stick it to the back of picture hanger
press it gently for few seconds.
I'll remove this black liner
and fix it on the wall. First, I'll wipe the wall and
then I'll fix it on the wall.
press it for few seconds and then I'll leave it for one hour
and after that it's ready to use.
This is the stabilizer strip
I'll remove the liner and then I'll stick it to the lower end of the plate
and here's how it looks!
And to remove it just pull this tab downwards not towards you
Keep pulling it downwards until the hanger comes off.
So as you can see it removes clean
and there are no marks on the wall.
in case you want to reuse it, you can buy another adhesive strip.
For this DIY, you'll need a brown paper or any thick paper,
a bottle cap and some pistachio shells.
Put the bottle cap on the paper and cut out circles
You need to make a hole in the center as well.
and then using hot glue, stick pistachio shells
like so
making a flower.
and then cut off the extra paper.
and your flower is ready.
So here's where I'm gonna install this fairy light
and for that I'm using these tiny Command clips.
and every clip comes with these adhesive strips.
So first, I'll remove the blue liner and stick it to the back of Command clip.
press it gently for few seconds
and then remove the black liner
and stick it on any surface where you want to hang fairy light
So I'm sticking it here.
press it gently for few seconds
and leave it just like that for one hour.
after that it is ready to use. I'm hanging
the flower string light, I just made.
Now to install the flower what I'm gonna do is
just insert the bulb in the center and its ready.
and how lovely it looks.
This lotus tealight holder is inspired by
a little kid Ishaan's origami baskets
I've already added the link to his channel in the description box
so do check out
So first, take 3 papers. 3 square papers of
8x8, 6x6 and 4x4 inches
fold them in half and again in two halves
and then turn it over
fold it diagonally from both the sides
and then
bring all the four corners together
just like so
so the paper forms a square shape not the triangular one
and then fold it like so. So that the open ends
face each other.
turn it over and do the same.
open ends are facing each other here.
and then
open the open end and press it like so
making triangle at the lower end
and then fold it like this.
turn it over and do the same.
Now the petals are ready.
fold them like this
and then just open it up
Ina same way, make two more origami lotuses
and then once the lotuses are ready.
put the smaller ones inside the bigger ones.
and this is how you should do it.
and the lotus tealight holder is ready
You can either hang it or just place it on the coffee table.
It looks truly amazing.
Here I'm using Command hook again
and this is how I hung it
and then placed tealight inside it.
and this truly looks amazing.
and this is how you can place it on the coffee table as well.
And for this DIY, you can check out one of my previous videos
that I have already posted a year ago
I've added the link in the description and in the card above as well
and I'm gonna use this stained bottle in my kitchen
because your kitchen needs to be glammed up during this festive season
So I'm using this huge Command hook here
First, I'll remove the blue liner, stick it to the back of Command hook
and then remove the black liner
clean the surface and then stick it on the back-splash
I'm hanging this mason jar stained glass bottle
And I've already filled some fairy lights inside it. It looks magical.
The same way, you can stain different glass bottles
in various colors. Club them together
and place flowers in them
and your centerpiece is ready.
jewel tone added by these stained bottles adds a perfect festive touch.
For this DIY you'll need
a craft paper or card stock
pencil
and a craft knife
draw a flower on the paper
and cut it using craft knife
like I've shown here
cut out the entire flower
and it'll look like this
in a same way, create 4-5 flowers in different colors
and different sizes
and then using glue gun stick them on any paper lamp.
and this is how it'll going to look.
Isn't it amazing.
And using Command clips I have the liberty to hang it anywhere I want
So here I'm hanging it in my son's room.
and whenever I wish I can remove it.
So that's all for today. I hope you guys enjoyed this video
and will be trying these DIYs this Diwali
and I'll see you super soon
till then watch either this video or this.
Wish you all Love, Luck & Sunshine. Bye
