At least...that's how it was during the day

At night, Margaret becomes someone else entirely

She goes to her computer and frequents her favorite website

One you might've heard whispers of...

Margaret was on tumblr pretty often. VERY often

None of the people who knew her in her regular life knew about it

But she was on it a lot. Every single night

Sometimes even during the day when she could spare a moment

But tumblr wasn't the only place she spent her time

Margaret fancied herself a bit of a writer

She liked to write a lot of....let's call them 'stories'

Based on her favorite shows and movies

She liked to put them in an archive

An archive...of her own?

But that's not weird, right?

It's not like a 45 year old woman having fun on the Internet is a bad thing

It's actually kind of nice that the older generation be more aware of the world the way the internet helps us to be

Maybe Margaret reads the news or maybe watches some informative videos

Maybe she uses her tumblr blog to write about important social issues or when she writes her stories

She does it whenever a show that she likes makes a moral misstep

And so she uses her powers as a writer to retcon it so that it never happened

She tries to make the world a little kinder with her internet powers

'WROW, Margaret's really cool!' you must be thinking

Well too bad. 'Cause Margaret isn't cool.

She doesn't use the boundless information the Internet provides us to do anything good or productive

She uses it to fight teenagers

YEAH. Yeah, you heard me

Margaret -- a grown-ass woman with a goddamn mortgage -- yells at teenagers online

Usually these kids in question are just people who have had the misfortune of

Finding her fiction and then telling her that they find it super weird that she likes to write pages and pages of porn

Starring people their age

Because Margaret writes literal child pornography and these kids are like:

"YOOOOOOO what the FUCK???"

But Margaret...

She doesn't take that well

She calls them 'brats' who need to get over themselves

And understand that her porn isn't about them

That when she writes teenagers FUCKING in EXCRUCIATING DETAIL

She's not writing about ACTUAL TEENAGERS

Nooooooo

What???

No, that would be WEIRD

They're FICTIONAL teenagers

That's totally different. It is!

I mean, it has to be Margaret's practically frothing at the mouth about it

She is FORTY-FIVE-----

When Margaret's all done telling kids to stop bullying her

She likes to unwind by watching her favorite cartoons

Yeah, Margaret likes a show that's mainly for kids. That's not that weird. I mean adults make the show, right?

At least that's what Margaret says before she digs into her daily bowl of dog food

Which is also made by adults, so get off her back about it

When the episode is over, she goes back to tumblr and discusses it

She especially gushes about two characters who are brothers

But you know not in blood SO IT DOESN'T COUNT [the Voltron fandom hates foster kids]

And how they're totally in love and have frequent athletic sex.

That's right, folks

Margaret's into incest

She loves the idea of family members fuckin each other's brains out and it's even better -- so much better --

When one or more of the characters are underage

Maybe Margaret's troubled

Maybe she had some kind of incident or trauma in her life that made her like this

She certainly likes to bring up that possibility with zero provocation

and we just assume that it's true cuz we give her the benefit of the doubt and we're nice people even though she continues to

Use it as a weapon to fight away the people who tell her that constantly engaging with the thing that relates to your trauma is

Horrifically unhealthy and to silence people who don't have experience with that specific trauma

But who have the decency to think that perhaps incestuous statutory rape is bad

I mean, it's it's it's bad

Oh, look at that! Margaret just donated $50K to that archive of hers!

She probably needed that to pay for food, but you know what?

She'd rather give money to a site that both protects and enables horrific stories about child abuse and gang rape

And if you think those stories are written mindfully and not to sexualize monstrous things

then you would be wrong and you should run

NASA's Kepler space telescope found thousands

of planets outside our solar system.

With its mission completed, the telescope will remain

94 million miles away in an orbit trailing Earth.

What will happen to the Kepler telescope now?

Kepler is traveling in a somewhat larger,

slower orbit than Earth.

Over time it will trail father and farther behind.

By 2060, Kepler will fall so far behind

that Earth will almost catch up to it.

As Earth approaches, its gravity will tug at

the telescope and send Kepler into a closer,

faster orbit around the Sun.

In its closer, faster orbit, Kepler will

slowly speed ahead of our planet.

In 2117, the telescope will almost catch up to Earth from behind.

Earth's gravity will tug on the telescope as before,

but this time, pull it back into the wider, slower orbit.

For the foreseeable future, the pattern repeats

as Kepler is tugged inside and outside of Earth's orbit.

The telescope never comes closer than a million miles

to the Earth - more than four times the distance from Earth to the Moon.

people who like to watch him if you said that

in the pursuit of some abstract ideal of equality,

we're not going to let Muhammad Ali

get more for one night's fight

than the lowest man on the totem-pole can

get for a days unskilled work on the docks?

You can do that but the result of that would

be to deny people the opportunity

to watch Muhammad Ali.

I doubt very much he would be willing to

subject himself to the kind of fights he's

gone through if he were to get the

pay of an unskilled docker.

Yesterday, 137,000 people escaped from extreme poverty.

That could have been the headline in the New York Times

everyday for the last 25 years.

Why wasn't it?

My name is Steven Pinker, and that's one of the questions

that I raise in my book Enlightenment Now:

The Case for Reason, Science, Humanism, and Progress.

Everyday, when we click on the news,

we read stories of terrorism, war, inequality, crime,

racism, pollution, the proliferation of nuclear weapons.

It can feel crushing.

It can feel that the world is spiraling out of control.

Journalism gives us our picture of the world,

but there are certain biases that are built

into the journalistic enterprise.

News is about what happens, not what doesn't happen.

When something goes wrong, it's gripping.

Bad is psychologically stronger than good.

When something goes right, often it's nothing.

It is a city that has not been shot at by terrorists.

It's a country that's been at peace.

Since they never count as news,

no one will learn about them.

If you think that the news has been getting more

negative over time, you're right.

The major news outlets across the world

have been getting steadily more negative over time,

even as the objective state of the world has been improving.

Let's go to the data,

starting with the most precious thing of all, life.

For most of human history,

life expectancy at birth hovered around 30 years,

but today it is more 70 years in the world as a whole,

more than 80 years in the more fortunate,

developed parts of the world.

200 years ago no more than 10% of people in the world

lived above the line for extreme poverty.

Today, more than 90% do.

For most of human history everyone was illiterate.

Today, more than 80% of the population is literate.

Fewer people are dying in wars.

Fewer people are starving to death.

Fewer people are dying of infectious diseases.

So as the world gets better and better,

the coverage gets more and more negative.

Of course there are problems,

and many of them are horrendous,

but acknowledging the world's progress

is not a matter of having sunny a disposition

or wearing rose-colored glasses,

or seeing the glasses half full.

It's paying attention to the data,

paying attention to the hard, cold, objective facts.

My biggest hope in writing Enlightenment Now

is nothing short than changing people's

view of the human condition.

Recognizing human progress changes your view of the world.

If you want to improve the world,

there are a few steps to take.

First of all, be humble.

None of us is infallible, none of us is omniscient.

We've got to learn from our mistakes.

Second, have some rational confidence.

Many things have gotten better

thanks to the confidence of people in the past.

That should embolden us to try to solve

the formidable problems facing us now.

Third, have a problem-solving mindset.

Don't begin by looking at who to blame,

who the evildoers are, whose fault it is.

Things naturally fall apart.

Problems are inevitable, but problems are solvable.

If we understand the world,

if we set as our goal improving human welfare,

we can gradually succeed.

Applying human brain power and human sympathy

to making people better off is not futile.

maybe this might work so guys this video I'm calling it 5 ridiculous characters

that will put jump forces over the edge and I think these 5 characters if we

input them into the game will make the game jet just much better now we already

know we don't have no more support characters so if you haven't seen that

video it should be jumping up on the screen right about now you should check

that out it's a good watch so for me when I think about somebody outlandish

I'm thinking about planet buster and people I'm thinking about gag character

but not just guy catches people that you just like why are you in the game why

are you here these three come to mind all the time

Taro, Arale and Luckyman. Now, I already DON'T like taro

but everybody loves Arale I think I Arale would definitely be in a game

anyway but I'm just gonna put her in this list just for fun Arale just

doesn't fit this jump force style but of course she's one of Akira Toriyama's first

creations she will be in the game I don't understand everybody keep crying on

Twitter about her not possibly making a cut she will be in the game guys and I

think adding her to the list will put it over the edge because we had somebody

who's unrealistic

now I love lucky man everything about lucky man was so awesome to me

was just so fun to play with and so different and funny that if you add him

to the game I think he'll just make it that much better

number three we're going with Taro Yamada I'm not really a big fan of him I mean

he was pretty cool to play with in J-stars he was different and disgusting I

just really want to see a Bandai Namco can pull off his art style for Jump

Force I just think it'll be amazing I think he would look super cool and

creepy cuz I originally when I have my replacement draft video which we come up

right now I actually had him out

hey speaking of transformations why not give a transformation pick up for Lambo

I think Lambo be a good addition to the game I strongly strongly doubt he'll

make it it's so many more people in front of him that it's way better pigs

to be the game but I mean if you're gonna put somebody in the game to make

the game ridiculous I would definitely add Lambo add a

guardian you know you have Tsuna and then add Lambo to the mix like I said guys

it's for fun but if you do add Lambo to the mix I think I'd be awesome Plus

Lambo can go from is his baby form to his adult form so it means him go from a

kid to young adult to adult form and I think it'd be awesome if you add into

the game but hey whatever now we're going from there and my number

one pick and I know you guys are gonna give me hell for it I'm picking no not

Kaiba but Blue-Eyes White Dragon yeah what the hell I'm talking about

listen to me real quick you just how you have Charizard in Super Smash

Brothers you can have blue-eyes White Dragon be that type of character like

we see you got kuma and Tekken and stuff like that you got Ridley in Smash Bros

like come on guys it can be done I think having a playable blue-eyes White Dragon

would be amazing and it'd be like sick but I can't believe I'm actually playing

on blue-eyes I don't see Kaiba doing the same kind of movement that you he does

Kaiba summoning cards like Yugi doesn't

work it will work for Jaden because he has elemental heroes but it would not

work for Kaiba anyway guys if you liked this video make

Ministering to Those Struggling With Cancer: Cassandra's Story - Duration: 4:14.

Friday my husband was emceeing a pep rally, Saturday he was coaching my

daughter in a soccer game, and Sunday he woke up with vertigo.

I asked him to go to the hospital because we were really worried, and as you

know all guys, they are "tough," and he said no. I ended up going to church that

morning, and it was a blessing that I did because a friend of mine, she ended up

being at church and she saw that there was some concern in my eyes and she was

an ER nurse, and she came up and asked me what was wrong and I said "I'm really

worried about my husband" and she said "Well then, you know what, let me just go

over and check him out." And within about five minutes they said you need to go to

the hospital now. He is, he was a teacher and a coach and we have five children,

and by that night we found out that he had stage four colon cancer. And that

rocked our world. I kind of turned everybody, tuned everybody out,

and that's how I kind of deal with stuff, I just kind of need to be alone and I ran

to the bathroom and I locked the door, and all I could say was "Heavenly Father,

whatever is they will. I can't change it, even though I want to, but I will do

whatever you need me to do. And that was really hard because this is my best

friend. We had been married for 21 years at that time. We ended up spending about

30 days in the hospital with everything that he had to go through.

It was amazing to see the help that we received. Not only did we not have to worry

about my kids, because they were being taken care of, but a community came

together. Our church community and my husband's work community, his school and

they worked together. They talked and got meals put together. Now one of the things

that touched my heart the most, and it helped me go through some of the hardest

trials, was there were many times that I woke up thinking I needed to go to the

store and get things, and I had to get up and drive after not having that much

sleep because of different episodes my husband have, and I would open up the

door, and everything I needed was there off my doorstep. I don't know how it got

there, and I truly believe that Heavenly Father touched someone's heart, and said

that we needed that at that time. You never know what you do, and how it will

help someone. Even the smallest things: someone cleaning our front yard, or our

house, someone staying with our kids, someone getting the band together to

come to our house and play for my husband because he missed all of his students

so much. That is his world, and for them to take the time out and march down our

street, and play the fighting song for him and telling him he was a fighter,

and doing different things at school to show him that they loved him.

Those are small ways to minister to people, small ways to serve people that

mean the world.

Hey, it's your girl ally welcome back to my channel! so today I'm in Los

Angeles with my friend - Toshiko! so we are doing a really fun collaboration

Toshiko is a really amazing stylist and blogger from well San Francisco we

met so her blog Itsnotheritsme so what you don't know is Toshiko takes

a lot of her own photos by herself so she really goes to show that you don't

need to have an Instagram boyfriend or a husband or a friend like she is a

one-woman show and she's the perfect person to show you guys how to take your

own photos at home by yourself you know if you only have a phone or DSLR

whatever type of photography you like to do she has so many tips and tricks for

you guys she can show you all the way so we're just heading over to - she goes

living room and then she's going to set this up is this usually where you like

to take pictures I got my tripod on Amazon so it's super affordable very

okay I want to see you set it up so - chica how many times it does it usually

take for you to get the right shot it can go for like fifty to a hundred

photos oh wow yeah for me to tell what she looks like

until I jump in front of the camera so that's true so at the beginning it's

like a lot of back and forth and then after I have like the position set up

then it's easier than is more like my posing so this has become my new best

friend because before I use this I used to just set it on timer and then just go

back and forth and that takes like three times longer so this is pretty good also

an Amazon no sponsor see so this is just like a test because

I have no idea what I look like right now so so yes even someone who's done

this for a really long time first try does not work Wow but the

focus is off so I have to focus on that instead of that but I'm getting the

framing

you make it look so effortless yeah you got your poses down center

all right so now it's my turn to see if I could take my own photos over here in

this corner because usually I do have some help when it comes to taking

pictures and I'm not a pro at using a tripod or remote but let's give it a try

I think I could do it you can good look so easy

well see it feels kind of awkward because where are we gonna put this

remote and I'm scared it's gonna be in the shot I feel like you're pretty close

to the mirror yeah Oh shouldn't have done that too soon too

soon

am I supposed to look out it actually looks pretty good okay how did I do

actually was really good but thank because I already have everything set up

I know you make it so easy

since Paul has a really hit California yet why not try to fake some cute fall

group pictures with some fake leaves and your remote

so we have our tripod set up right here on the street and then we're just going

to sit on the stair ball here I think the one biggest fear about this is what

if someone steals your stop or takes your camera so definitely be careful

when you're doing this and be aware of your surroundings show you guys a behind

the scenes of how we take

when it comes to take the overhead food shots IV is always important to

accessorize and today I'm gonna have a sleeper doc to bring my matches and

rings and I just feel like I'm missing a little something something

definitely remember to accessorize the next time you come to a good French pop

Welcome back to Painting With Yovette.

I am so excited today!

I have something new to share with you, do you want to know what it is?

It's called Youtube Premiere, and I was selected to be able to use it!

And so now, I can post a video and you can watch me paint, and at the same time, you

and I can chat together.

I think that is so so fun, and I have been waiting for this for such a long time!

And I'll be so surprised if anybody shows up, but if they don't, that's ok, I'll just

have a great painting all by myself!

Well remember I'm a slow teacher when it comes to painting, but I'm even a slower typer,

so please be patient with me.

a great deal because then I could pick it out a lot easier.
