My Disability, Gender, And Fashion | Annie Elainey & Jessica Kellgren-Fozard Response - Duration: 8:55.
(MARKER SCRATCHING)
(ELECTRONIC VIDEO GAME CHIME)
Hello.
So, I want to talk about my disabilities, gender and fashion.
This is actually a video that is inspired by Annie Elainey and Jessica Kellgren-Fozard.
A couple of months ago, when they were at VidCon,
they did a video about disability and gender presentation
and then, pretty recently,
Annie kind of made a video adding onto that about her disabilities
and why she dresses the way she does and it also has to do with her gender identity.
And I just thought, "Well, why not?"
I kinda want to talk about it a little bit,
and it's still Disability Awareness Month and I need a video, so...
So, actually, let's backtrack a little bit.
Years ago, so, probably from when I was 18 up to, like, really, two or three years ago,
I used to want to get as fancy as possible.
And not, like, wear really fancy suits and dresses on a regular basis
but I really put effort into what I was wearing.
So, jeans and really nice shoes
and then the top, maybe a blazer, occasionally.
And even if I was just going out and running errands,
that's what I would wear.
And this was kind of the same when I was doing make-up on YouTube.
I was wearing make-up regularly and I just wanted to look really dressed up.
Now, a couple of years ago, I was also going to the bookstore,
to the cafe regularly, so I just wanted to look, like, really put together and look professional.
But now I've really been laidback on that type of thing
and I don't think it's just because of disabilities
but it does kinda play a role, I guess.
So, when it comes to disabilities, I'm deaf and I have chronic pain.
Deafness doesn't really have much to do with my fashion, at all,
so let's just ignore that part, but the chronic pain part.
A lot of back pain, a lot of shoulder pain.
Head stuff.
You know, really big migraines.
So, I don't like wearing tight clothing anymore.
So, like, bras, the tightness of bras...
I don't really have a whole lot going up here anyways.
That's one big reason why I never really worried about that, to be honest.
But, if I'm wearing tank tops, and I typically wear, like, men's tank tops
because they're looser,
you know there's that big hole that happens in the sleeve area here?
So, you know, I would be wearing really, like, somewhat tight sports bras
because, well, they are on the tighter side, no matter what,
and that really does hurt, so I don't wear them as often.
So, I've also just really moved on to, like, big T-shirts like this.
And, you know, it's really loose and it's easy to get on.
I've had problems with putting things on or...
Actually, you know what?
Putting things on seems to be somewhat easy
but then taking it off is a struggle for some reason.
I don't really understand it.
And it just makes things hurt really, really badly.
And then, when things just get too tight
and it's difficult to move around, I just don't like it.
With jeans, my legs get all messed up and I don't like it.
I don't really like wearing shoes, like sneakers and socks, anymore
because I banged up my foot last year and, ever since, it's been considerably swollen.
It goes up and down, depending on how much salt I eat.
Oops.
And, well, I have a permanent fat foot that doesn't really fit into my shoes much anymore
and that makes it very uncomfortable and difficult to walk,
so I've been wearing more flip-flops than ever
and, now that it's getting colder, I am not happy.
So, yeah, really loose clothing that's like...
I'm, like, this size, right?
Really, if you pull this all the way back.
I'm that size but I wear...
Like, this is a large so it's much looser.
There's, like, this much extra room right here.
It's just... It feels better.
Like, I can freely move my arms,
and I don't have to worry about potentially triggering any pain because of that.
Gender.
So, woman...
Cisgender, woman - pretty much feeling that way.
I grew up as a tomboy and so I would just wear a lot of, like, big shirts.
Some gym shorts.
I still have a pair of gym shorts from when I was 11, believe it or not.
That was pretty much it, and then, as I started growing older,
I started getting more into fashion but it was still more on the boyish side.
I was really into Britpop, so I got the blazers and I got the ties and the jeans
and, you know, the little sweat wristbands
that a lot of people wore during the emo days, right?
So, that was that, but then, after I graduated,
I started getting more feminine and really liking the nice tops and whatnot.
However, when it comes to dresses, I'm not a dress person.
I really like the look of these fancy dresses.
You see 'em on the red carpet and whatnot.
But, every time I put 'em on, so I'll go to a mall
and I'll find a dress I think looks absolutely gorgeous
and I want to have it, but, when I try it on, I almost kind of feel disgusted with myself.
I don't feel like it's really me
and I just feel awkward being in a dress or in a skirt.
I do own a skirt... I used to be really into skirts, actually.
Skirts and high heels.
But then I eventually stopped 'cause, one, they hurt,
and, two, with skirts, I was constantly afraid of, like, lifting up.
I have nothing up here but I got a lot going on down there,
so skirts were kind of a pain in the butt.
But, yeah, whenever I would try on a dress for, like, fancy events,
I... something felt so off about me,
and I just wanted to take it right off and I wanted to get a suit on
or at least, like, maybe a nice feminine top
but get a blazer on because that felt better, and pants.
I do have two dresses, or I have one dress that I have and one, like, really long skirt.
I do like those.
The skirt is leopard print, which I used to be obsessed with when I was younger,
so, and it's long, so it's nice to have when I just want to throw something on and go,
and a dress is more the "I really don't feel like getting dressed,
"so let me just throw this on and go run my errands real quick."
It was a great lounging summer dress to just get things done.
But, when I'm going out, I do... I prefer to wear jeans,
or, if I'm wearing leggings, like a dark leggings, or maybe even jeggings,
so that it looks a little more put together,
and feminine top, blazer, or just the nice top and go.
But, yeah, I've also just been really lazy with my fashion, I think,
which kind of bums me out because, as I look at my friends,
like Stevie and Stef Sanjati,
and looking at all these other, like, fashion YouTubers, like Jenn Im or...
Actually, Jenn Im is probably the only person that I ever really followed in terms of fashion.
But they look so awesome with all these fancy pieces.
And I kind of miss that.
But I keep end up gravitating toward things like this.
And, OK, let's be honest, this is a really cute shirt.
It's cats in a ramen bowl and I love it and I adore it, OK?
So, I have no problems with this.
But I do miss just getting really together.
But I also think part of it is just because I'm at home all the time.
I don't go out very often.
I don't go out to events that often.
So, I feel like, why bother putting in the time to, really, get together?
Even if it's, like, filming for a video.
Like, I'll do this, but, then, I'm pretty much wearing the YouTube uniform.
Put on a shirt and then...
Well, let's be honest, sometimes I just film in my underwear
and sometimes I actually put on pants,
but a lot of the times, it's just in my underwear. (LAUGHS)
But that's the YouTube uniform.
Put something decent up here and then below is pyjamas or anything else.
So, yeah, hopefully, you learned a little bit about, like, disability fashion, gender fashion,
how they kind of merge together.
I really didn't even think about this until I was watching those two videos.

We Have Already Seen The 9 Shadows From The Prophecy - One Piece Chapter 923+ - Duration: 5:01.
"You are like the moon who knows not of the dawn.
If there is one ardent wish that can be fulfilled.
Then it shall be the one where nine shadows are cast, woven together through 20 years
of moonlit nights.
Only then shall you know the radiance of Dawn".
Who are the people that she is talking about?
Who are the 9 shadows?
The simple answer would be the 9 shadows are the 9 samurais that did work for Oden.
But since when prophecies are simple.
If the 9 shadows are the 9 samurais then this is not a prophecy but a spoiler.
First, I will talk about why I think that the 9 shadows are not the 9 Samurais and then
who I do think are the 9 shadows.
After lord Oden was executed Kinemon and the others went to the castle to protect Oden's
family, but Kaido did set it on fire and they were surrounded.
There was no way out for them.
Toki, the wife of Oden had the power of Time Time Devil Fruit so after seeing that there
is no other way out of this, she did send Momonosuke and the others 20 years into the
future.
But here's the thing, why exactly 20 years?
Is there a reason why she did choose this particular date?
Logically speaking it would make more sense if she did send them in the near future, like
6 months or a year.
This would be enough to gather an army and come up with strategies on how to fight back
against Orochi and take control of Wano.
Because the more time that it passes the more powerful Orochi will become, he will complete
his coup detat without any problem and consolidate his power in Wano.
A new government is at its weakest point at the beginning.
After 20 years even the people who did not like Orochi would get used to him being the
King.
And we saw the children in Wano being taught that Oden was evil and Orochi is the hero
who did save this country.
When the war will start these children will take Orochi's side.
These are just some of the reasons why it does not make sense for Toki to send them
20 years into the future.
So, did she make a mistake?
No, she did not.
Because the reason why I think she did send them 20 years into the future it has nothing
to do with Orochi and Kaido.
But 20 years in the future the 9 shadows that she is talking about will come in Wano.
The 9 shadows that Toki is talking about are the 9 Straw Hats that did come in Wano.
And that's why I think she did choose this specific date, because she knew the future
and she saw that the Straw Hats will fight against Kaido and Orochi for their own purpose.
So, this was the best option that she had.
When Luffy and Law were talking about taking down Kaido and Kinemon did hear them, he was
shocked.
What are the odds that they are not just talking about fighting his enemy but also the fact
that Kinemon did go out in search for people to help him fight against Kaido?
And right in front of him, they are talking about fighting Kaido.
Well, this was not a coincidence, this is the exact reason why Toki did send Kinemon
and the others 20 years into the future.
So, they can join forces with the Straw Hats because this is the only option for them to
win this war, otherwise, things will end up in the same way as they did the last time.
If Kinemon and the samurais who did work for Oden could not win against Kaido and Orochi
the first time they did fight?
Why will things be different in the future?
Having more men, they can defeat Orochi but not Kaido and his army.
Yonkos themselves cannot defeat each other and even the World Government does not go
after the Yonkos in the New World.
And they have more than one hundred and seventy countries under them.
So it is not about having more men.
What they need is a miracle, and the Straw Hats specialize in miracles, that's what
Law said.
He is a doctor, so he has to be right.
Now, let's talk about 1the writer's perspective.
One of the reasons why I think that the 9 shadows are the 9 Straw Hats that they did
come in Wano, is because Oda will not give the spotlight to other characters than the
Straw Hats.
This prophecy was mentioned a couple of times in only a few chapters from the people in
Wano so far.
The people there they expect the 9 people from the prophecy to save them from this situation
that they are in.
The Straw Hats did save several countries in the past and I think they will do the same
thing in Wano as well.
They are the ones who the people of Wano will see them as heroes who did save them.
Anyway, what do you guys think?
Do you agree with this theory or disagree or you have something else to add?

Top 10 Scary Road Trip Stories - Part 3 - Duration: 12:42.
Hello and welcome back to the Most Amazing Channel on the internet.
I am your host Rebecca Felgate and today we are talking the Top 10 Scary Road Trip Stories
Part 3! 3!
You guys love a spooky road trip!
If you want to check out parts one and two, then check out the description box and the
links in the cards.
Before we get deep into our road trip journey – I want to ask if you guys have been on
a road trip this year?
At the end of last year I went on an awesome one from Arizona to Nevada, to California
and then up the Great Pacific Highway!
Like & Share!
10 - Tarantulas This story comes from a trucker and honestly
I am horrified!
The trucker's daughter took to reddit to explain what her mum had experience during
her life on the road.
She said that one day she was driving through Arizona and she saw a whole load od leaves
blowing across the road in the distance.
She said she was confused as the road was surrounded by pine trees.
When she got closer, she realized that the leaves were actually tarantulas.
Thousands of migrating tarantulas.
She was unable to stop her truck suddenly, so she had to drive over them.
She stopped at the first opportunity and found guts and legs caking the inside wheel well
of the truck.
Grim.
And terrifying.
9 - The Woodsy Road Mountains Sometimes when you are on a road trip, you
come across scary things – sometimes you stop to find out what the frog is going on,
other times you just drive on.
Personally, I would recommend driving on, because you never know what could happen.
This driver did exactly that, but they did capture a photograph first.
They posted the horrifying image on Imgur with the caption – I was driving down a
woodsy back road in the mountains when I saw something out of the corner of my eye.
One commenter wrote: So you stopped to take a picture and now you are dead.
This is what I mean, never stop!
Their image has 3,814 upvotes and we are all still none the wise as to what is going on…but
it honestly can't be good.
8 - The Green and White Truck This story was shared on Dazed digital magazine
by writer Emma Sutton.
Emma wrote of a road trip that she, her mother and sister went on across Wyoming when she
was 8.
She remembered fondly that her mum loved piling her kids in the car and driving.
One time, though, Emma remembers the drive being truly terrifying.
The trio of girls were driving on some small and lesser known roads in Wyoming and at one
point they turned into a gas station that a truck in front of them also pulled into.
As the two young girls and their mum were in the gas station, they used the rest room
and filled up their car.
The truck driver must have seen them in the gas station and seemingly decided to start
following them.
The mum suspected as much and started feeling nervous.
Emma recalled her mum making a plan to pull over and then pretend to get out of the car
at the next gas station.
She told the kids to sit tight with their seatbelts on.
The truck followed their car as they pulled into the station and the driver of the truck
got out.
Emma's mum opened her car door, then slammed it shut and drove full speed away.
The truck driver was startled and watching the family the whole time.
Emma's mum sped down a road and turned quickly at the next junction, hiding her car and her
family down a small road.
From the car, they watched as minutes later, the green and white tuck came speeding down
the road seemingly after them.
He didn't notice their car hidden down a side road.
Emma's sister said she needed to pee, and their mum agreed that she did too…although
Emma recalls her saying "I'd rather piss my pants in this car than be murdered on the
side of this road."
Atta mum!
7 - The Time Travellers In 1988, two businessmen were driving along
Highway 167 near Lafayette in Louisiana when they came across a vintage car going really
slowly… like…really slowly.
In the Unites States, old cars are restricted to as when they are allowed to drive on the
road, so the guy driving, who later gave his name to a magazine as L.C, thought maybe it
was part of a weird mid week ceremonial parade.
When he drove by the car, he noticed that the woman driving was wearing 1940s style
clothing and was looking very stressed and confused.
L.C stopped to see if she needed help and she nodded, looking like she was about to
cry.
As he drove up down the road to park his car safely, when he turned back, her car was miraculously
gone.
L.C and his business partner kept driving and saw another really old car with a newer
car parked in front.
That car also seemed to vanish, and LC decided to talk to the driver of the newer car, who
seemed to have a very similar experience to LC.
The trio of men were baffled and a little afraid – the genuinely think they came across
time travellers.
6 -Port Perry The small Canadian town of Port Perry is located
Near Route 12, that runs up to Cottage Country and the Kawartha Lakes, as well as laying
near the routes to Toronto in one direction and Ottawa in another . Basically – a lot
of road trippers pass by or through this town.
It seems that in the 1960s a young man was testing the limits of a motorbike on an old
road leading to Scugog Island.
Sadly, he pushed too hard and lost control of his bike.
The story goes that he came off his bike and hit his head on a rock – others say he was
decapitated on a barbed wire fence…either way, there is a rock in the area that has
ghost rock graffitied on it.
The legend goes that those who drive down the road after dark are likely to see a phantom
motorbike, or even a headless motorcyclist.
Some report seeing phantom headlights.
These days people often take a roadtrips to specifically see the ghost rock and try and
catch a glimpse.
This is one road you DO NOT want to take a trip on, we have The Death Road of Bolivia
– 5 The North Yungas Rd in Bolivia has been nicknamed
as Death Road.
In 1995 the road was voted the World's Most Dangerous Road and in the past 20 plus years
it has certainly lived up to that accolade.
Want to have a little look at it?
Here are a few pictures.
There are varying reports on the danger of this road, with some suggesting the yearly
death toll is around 300 people a year, but other reports suggest the road sees around
1,300 fatalities in a year!
On July 24, 1983 around 100 people in a bus were killed as their bus plummeted down the
canyon.
The road is a death trap – it is narrow, on a sheer cliff face, pot holed, has hairpin
bends, is dusty and is susceptible to poor weather conditions, such as fog tropical downpours
and landslides.
On top of that, the nearest ambulance crews are a two hour drive away.
4 - The Ghosts of The Tsunami Japanese cab drivers in Ishinomaki have been
complaining of hauntings in their cars since 2011.
It seems that following the devastating tsunami of that year a lot of drivers, especially
cabbies, have reported seeing people by the side of the road looking for a ride.
Cab drivers who have stopped have reported taking passengers, only for them to disappear
a short way into the journey.
It seems the phenomenon was caught on camera in 2012, as CCTV at a taxi rank in Japan showed
a woman approaching and passing through a car.
It seems that the Tsnunami was so sudden that many people on foot were swept away and killed.
6,000 people were killed in the Ishinomaki area of the country.
3 - Fresh Blood In a reddit thread drivers answered a post
that asked what the weirdest, scariest thing was that had happened while they were driving.
Redditor Eolond wrote that they were driving with their friend in the middle of nowhere
and at around 1 in the morning they drove over a huge swath of blood.
They said a few seconds later there was another patch.
They wrote that at the time they figured someone must have hit a deer, although they were weirded
out that their didn't seem to be any car damage or sign of a carcass.
In their teenage imaginations, they freaked out that something was bleeding in the woods.
Honestly, If I saw fresh blood while driving, I would be super freaked out.
2 - New Jersey's Route 23 Is it me, or is New Jersey the weirdest and
most haunted state in the whole of America?
Maybe the locals are used to all the spooks, but you do not want to drive along route 23
ever… let alone at night.
The stretch in question is Clinton Road, a ten mile run between Newfoundland New Jersey
and Upper Greenwood Lake.
Along this piece of road, drivers have spotted everything from ghosts, ghouls, witches, demons,
Satanists and members of the Klu Klux Klan.
Most popular are the legends of ghost vehicles – a camaro from a fatal car crash, and a
phantom truck.
It was also along this road that the body of a man was found in 1983 by a passing cyclist.
An autopsy of the man showed that he had died of foul play and that there were ice crystals
in the blood vessels near his heart.
The death led to the arrest of a member of the mafia, Richard Kuklinski, in 1986.
The killer was a local and was said to have chosen this stretch of road to dump bodies.
The road seemingly runs through the middle of nowhere and is home to America's longest
traffic light wait – which means you could be stuck on this road, stationary for a full
five minutes – exposed to all manner of spooks wanting to hitch a lift.
1 - The Kuwait Creep A video was uploaded to youtube in January
2015 from a cars dashcam in Kuwait.
I can't speak Arabic so I am not too sure what is being said in the video, but basically
the driver sounds truly and utterly terrified.
The driver starts the footage as he sees a white figure in the road…check it out.
Editors roll clip.
The driver starts getting really terrified with the figure – what looks like a hunchbacked
old woman with long black hair – starts running towards him as he is trying to reverse
away.
Have a look…
Honestly, if this is fake, then the guys behind the wheel is a great actor!
Honestly, this looks like a road witch.
Is a road witch a thing?

I got mine for only $10, and it's literally like the ten dollars I ever spent.
But, here's the thing.
It came with all of these letters to spell out your message but sometimes there aren't
enough letters to spell out the message that I want to say.
Or sometimes I just want to get creative with other fonts or other shapes.
So today I'm going to show you how to make your own message board letters.
I have a bunch of different ideas for how we could go about doing this, so let's experiment
and find out which one works the best.
So as I said, I'm making these letters for my message board.
If you're not familiar with these, each letter is on a different clear rectangle and
the board has an on and off switch to light up.
So the secret for this project is Clear Craft Plastic.
The sheets that I have are 12 inches by 12 inches that have a film on top where once
you peel it up, you end up with perfectly clear plastic.
To cut it down, instead of bothering with measuring it out, I'm just going to use
one of my existing letters and mark the height with a marker.
We're doing this on the film that'll be peeled off, so you can draw all over it without
worrying about seeing the marks on the final product.
Then use either a craft knife or scissors to cut it down.
A craft knife gives you a more precise line, but scissors are definitely faster.
After that, mark the width of the letters and cut them out the same way.
Now is the fun part - peeling off all of the film.
Once you've done that, you have a bunch of blank plastic rectangles ready to put your
letters on.
But, before I do that, I also just wanted to mention that if you don't have plastic
sheets like these, you can also use any clean, flat plastic container from your recycling.
Just trace the rectangles the same way and cut them out, and that works just as well.
So, let's talk about that marker I'm using.
This is an oil-based paint pen.
You can see how it leaves a rich, opaque layer of paint on the plastic, whereas every other
marker that I tried is kind of transparent or kind of purple - definitely not as nice
as the paint pen.
So to use a paint pen to copy an existing letter, you can just tape it down on your
table and simply start tracing.
Once you have the shape on there, place it onto the message board with the light turned
on to fill in any areas that you missed.
One downside to the paint pen is that it is hard to get precise corners - for this letter
I tried masking off the entire thing with washi tape, which worked, but it definitely
took a while to do.
However, the paint pens work really well to do more organic shapes, like the heart that
I'm tracing here with a pink paint pen.
I also used the paint pens to trace this text in the font Cooper Black, which worked really
well and it's definitely a more unique look for the lightbox than using the standard letters.
The thing that I love about the paint pens is that you get a bunch of colors in one box
so you can trace literally anything that you can print from the computer or pull up on
your phone.
Here I'm tracing some emojis and they add a really fun pop of color to the message board
and they're really quick to make.
Speaking of quick, the fastest method to make your own letters is to use letter stickers.
Since the letters are already cut out for you, you just have to press them down and
then you're done.
However, the downside to this is that you're limited to the stickers that you have, so
if you need more of a certain letter, you have to go buy a whole new pack of stickers.
And buying stickers can get expensive if you want to make a bunch of different types of
letters.
But, you can mix and match them to get a playful effect, or you can add some sparkle super
quickly with glitter letter stickers.
Alright, finally, the third method I want to show you uses black contact paper.
It has a backing, so you can print and cut out your letters to trace onto the back and
then cut them out from the contact paper.
And it's much easier to get sharp corners than it is with the markers.
If you don't have contact paper, you could also use chalkboard tape, which is similar
in that it also has a backing.
However, I found that the chalkboard tape that I was using was a little more gray than
the black original letters.
So it's kind of obvious if you tried to mix them in, but if you make a whole set out
of just the chalkboard tape, then you can use those with each other and it'll look
totally fine.
But another method to use the contact paper is to print out your design backwards, scribble
on the back with a pencil, and then go over all of the outlines with a ballpoint pen.
When you pick up the paper, you can see that you'll have transferred your design.
Just use a craft knife or scissors to cut it out and place the letters onto the plastic.
And of course, if you have a die cutting machine like a Cricut or a Silhouette, you can run
the contact paper through that to get perfectly precise letters cut out by a machine.
I just prefer not to use those because I know that they're expensive and I know that not
everyone has access to one.
So, one downside of the contact paper is that if you want to add color, you have to buy
a whole new roll, which can get expensive.
I also found that cutting out complicated letters by hand took longer than drawing them
with the markers, but if you really want those precise corners for a font like this, contact
paper is probably the best way to do it.
So I hope you all liked seeing all of those ideas for how to make your own message board
letters, whether you just need to make some extras of existing letters or if you want
to experiment with other fonts and colors and illustrations.
I feel like this opens up a whole new world, where you can make unlimited amounts of fonts
and emojis and shapes out of anything you can cut out or draw.
If you want to make your own message board, Marianne actually posted a DIY video a little
while back showing you how to do that, so I'm going to link that right down below.
I would love to know in a comment if you have jumped on board the message board train or
what is the best thing you've ever seen written on a message board?
