Waching daily Oct 29 2018

they're super hot and like what's not to love.

their music and all that.

Fandoms get made fun of a lot. Sure their behavior can be a little over the top

but most of the time they don't deserve the bad rep

we've all been there

a little too obsessed with something that has caused us to act out of the

ordinary besides fans are just people who are

deeply interested in loyal about a hobby celebrity or subject. They're people who

aren't embarrassed to be themselves and no one should be discouraged for that.

Right?

Well there is one type of fandom that should be discouraged and it's on the dark side of Tumblr

Can you tell everyone what Tumblr is?

Tumblr is sort of like a blog that people treat as their virtual diary and there are also

communities that you can get part of

Oh yeah. You've Tumbled before right?

Yes...

Read one your post everyone. Sometimes the hardest choices are the right ones

Or the wrong ones. I don't know yet...

Welcome to Psych IRL my name is Donna

and today we're gonna be looking at the true-crime community on tumblr now I've

seen a lot of videos investigating and exploring this community so I thought

I'd see it for myself I've heard there are a lot of

inappropriate crushes on school shooters

Hey this guy's not too bad-looking I

mean he's kind of hot...Jesus Christ oh my god this is disgusting okay well we

have to throw the whole body away

one disclaimer that I forgot to mention is that not everyone in the true-crime community is like this

Some people are just genuinely interested in learning about the mentality of serial killers

and murderers. Also I do not support the bullying and harassment of others so

please don't go after anyone in this video. I will not be showing any faces

naming any names of these mass shooters because I do not want to glorify that or

bring more attention to them so they will be blurred out and bleeped out but

I will be sharing names of criminals that have already committed crimes so

long ago and their names have already been commercialized because I think that

it helps tell the story a little bit more.

On tumblr the true crime community is a place for people who are interested in

criminology and the history/psychology of serial killers

this interest in deviance is perfectly normal

it's natural to want to know the motives of why someone did a horrendous act but

for some individuals in the true crime community their obsession is taken to an

inappropriate level. A level where school shooters are idolized and even romanticized

Just say no to sawed offs

Bad. No no no.

Many in the community make drawings of these shooters and portray them

in a heroic way. Some drawings also portray them as sad lonely

and misunderstood. The artist of this drawing for instance wrote phrases like

I am a horrible son. If there was a god, he wouldn't let me feel. I destroy

everything I touch. This one has a goodbye letter to his parents and has

the words wrath and vodka in bold letters but of course it's captioned how

could I ever forget about loverboy and this is where things get weird.

I really want to send D letters but I'm scared that they won't give them to him or he

won't write back. I really want to send him my art of him. I could see how one

would feel sympathy for a criminal after learning the childhood trauma this

person has gone through but creating fan art is essentially rewarding them for their actions

Some in the community have even gone too far by creating fantasy relationships

between two mass murderers A lot of these profiles say "I do not condone"

meaning they don't condone the actions of these shooters but these

images say otherwise

Me and my sister are here at the Museum of Death and

we're trying to understand how people like this stuff

You see it on the internet but what about in real life and I think this is a perfect example of that.

The Museum of Death in Hollywood is a

place dedicated to death education but their more controversial displays are

composed of serial killer artwork, Manson family memorabilia, and crime scene photographs

Maybe this place was the real-life version of the true crime community on Tumblr

that would help me get into the mindset of understanding the community better

after all some of their merchandise does bear resemblance

to the artwork we saw online. Maybe the kinds of people in the museum

would give me insight into what kind of people are in this tumblr fandom.

What exactly motivates someone to create an edit of a mass shooting with happy music

or even weirder memes

Me...

Mildly attractive white boys that have killed people

I wanted love. I never got it.

He inflate He deflate

A school with a bunch of people in it

(sighs) that one went too far

My babies: The baby baby, the autistic baby, the surprised baby,

the racist baby, the btchy baby, the angry baby, the large kinky baby

P.S. this was made to be funny don't get a stick up your ass about it you've been

visited by the godlike police no mass shooting today but you better quit your btching

Please don't kill me I didn't do anything to you

Sarcastic: please don't kill me I didn't do anything to you. GET THE F OUT! Poor SpongeBob

This one is self-explanatory.

He says do you love me. I tell him only partly.

I only love true crime and serial killers. I'm sorry.

After touring the museum I found that there was a vast difference between it

and tumblr everything was said in an objective and detached way. We weren't

sympathizing with the serial killers we were examining their motives

I mean there are a lot of serial killer things. There was the black dahlia, there

was Gacy, there was Charles Manson and this cult.

did you feel weird to like look at those things and glorify them sort of?

I don't feel like it's really glorifying death

I feel like you're just learning about it.

and that's why I like this stuff. because I want to know why. I like knowing why

that morning you decided to dress a little more provocatively than usual you

you found yourself flaunting a denim skirt as you strode into school that was

perhaps three or four inches above your knees obviously you weren't completely

daft you were aware of the dress code and so you progress through most of your

day with a jacket bound around your waist until the last period of your day

English which took place in a sweltering oven of a classroom. You sat down

cursing the name of whoever invented assigned seats since you were forced to

share the table with absolute asshats. Of course it was only an hour you had to

spend by their side but it piled up over several weeks and the toil you received

eventually became intolerable as the professor rambled on about Macbeth. Your

eyes roamed around every nook and cranny of the classroom before finally landing

on E. You quickly perk up realizing his gaze was also situated on you or rather

your thighs and the abyss between them that your skirt managed to cover.

And I'm not reading the rest.

Perhaps many of these individuals are hybristophiliacs

Hybristophilia is a paraphilia where one is sexually aroused or attracted to

people who have committed horrendous crimes such as murder

this is sometimes also referred to as the Bonnie and Clyde syndrome

For instance a lot of fan mail is sent to serial killers who have received a lot of media publicity

Cult leader Charles Manson who convinced his followers to commit a series of nine

murders and was convicted of first-degree murder for two other deaths

himself got a 25 year old girlfriend

Because I love him.

somehow I've got half a brain that I can see that he is the one that knows what's

going on. He's the one that is in the truth whenever nobody else is and...

what is it about him compared to other people you've met in your lifetime

that makes him so unique and different

Charlie always tells the truth no matter what

Ted Bundy known for kidnapping, sexually assaulting, and then murdering 30 women

had a courtroom filled with women attempting to catch his attention

The trial has drawn women from as far away as Seattle where Bundy is suspected of other sex murders

why is this happening

According to one psychiatrist, it is a mixture of fear, intrigue, and in particular sexual attraction

and so yes I do think this is an underlying sense a

sexual attraction using that word very broadly for the moment but there is no

question but what violence does quicken the pulse of many people and certainly of young women

You try to imagine yourself in his place and to see how he's feeling

looking at the pillows with bloodstains and everything if he really did it or not

he even asked one of his admirers to marry him in court

Carol.

Do you want to marry me?

Yes.

And I want to Marry You? Yes.

And I do want to Marry You.

Though there is psychological explanation creating memes and fantasizing over normal videos of

these mass shooters still seems wrong

My love he was a goofy kid I hate to see that fade

you're of course free to feel those feelings after all you can't

really help them but glorifying them especially when the tragic events

happened so recently motivates copycats, people who believe this is the only way

they will get attention.

Location is Stonewood Douglas.

And Parkland Florida.

It's going to be a big event.

And when you see me on the news, you will all know who I am

but the true crime community has responded to such criticisms in the best way the know how, memes

What some of the TCC says: you should be able to feel empathy for the

killer too because they are still a person and just because they did

horrible things doesn't mean they weren't going through a lot. I'm not

saying it excuses their actions just that one person being a victim doesn't

mean another can't be one as well.

What some Antis hear: UwU N did nothing wrong

and could F me sideways. My poor innocent baby UwU

well the memes that a lot of the TCC post counter this. I don't get why people

think I condone what N did. Sad Face. Anyways here's my fifth flower crown

edit for today. I hope N is doing okay in prison. He doesn't deserve any of this

N is daddy. Need i say more?

i genuinely want to know if you think there's a

difference between making artwork of charles manson and making artwork of a

recent school shooter. Also if you guys ever visit the death museum i wrote in

their book of how you die and if you find it tag me on instagram. Also my

sister wrote in it. Yours is funny? Yeah but i think no one's gonna find it.

Did you put your name? I didn't put my name. AWWW how are they gonna know it's you?

Because I'm the only one who wrote about Shrek

As usual i post a Q&A about the video on my instagram stories 24 hours

after the video is posted so follow me there that's the end of the video i'll

see you guys next time stay psyched

"hot mess" with luka sabbat: episode 1 | freeform - Duration: 3:45.

Hot Mess is a company of me and my friends

that like to make stuff with more of my friends.

Hot Mess is Luka and I.

I'm the photographer and he styles and creative directs.

Noah is the other half of Hot Mess.

He takes the photos.

He understands my brain.

I think I was like, "This dude's a f*cking weirdo."

But, sometimes it takes two of the opposite people to have good chemistry.

Luka Sabbat is a kid that I met on the internet who happens to influence a lot of people.

He's the master, without even knowing what he's doing.

He's the master of convincing people who are easily swayed,

which is most of the population, that what he's saying is important, or relevant, or cool.

And crucial for their existence going forward.

And crucial for you to believe.

And if you don't believe what he's believing, then you're irrelevant.

You don't got the juice.

Some people are born for things. He didn't ask to be this at all.

He said, not in Colorado is where he's at.

It was just this culture clash.

High-end Luka coming from New York and Paris, and Noah coming from the middle of nowhere in Colorado.

Country boy kind of thing.

If he was like me I would have f*cking hated him.

Curtis is the writer, a poet.

He writes all the blurbs for Hot Mess and the stuff for the book.

Hot Mess would be impossible without me, but it would also be impossible without Noah.

And it wouldn't be as good without Curtis.

We each have our own thing.

And I'm the "No" man. I'm like no, no, no.

You've heard me say no a lot. Because I hate a lot of shit.

Because a lot of things suck.

Dream about it, bitch.

He literally hit the genetic lottery.

He literally doesn't shower. And he doesn't smell bad either.

His body odor just smells fine.

He just rolls out of bed and puts on a 'fit.

He's all, I woke up like this.

Literally.

What'd you get? Rainbow bagel?

Can I have a bite?

What the hell.

I wish it tasted rainbow. I wish that was a flavor.

It's not good, though.

It's like a rainbow, but with no sun or rain.

Yeah.

I didn't want to be an influencer, nor mean to be an influencer.

All I've ever done was post pictures of my outfits.

And then people just caught on, and liked it. And that's how I got a bunch of followers.

You never witness yourself growing, because you're the one growing.

But everyone's like, "Oh my God, you got so tall." That's how I look at it.

I'm overwhelmed. This is me, Noah and Curtis' first big show.

I was mad nervous. I was scared nobody was gonna show up.

Know that means I'll have to leave

I want to see you smile but

I wanna raise your spirits

'Cause this just don't feel right to me

I want to change my mind

Then only for a minute

I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier

Lately, I've been, I've been thinking

I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier

Lately, I've been, I've been thinking

Know that means I'll have to leave

I want to see you smile but

I wanna raise your spirits

'Cause this just don't feel right to me

I want to change my mind

Then only for a minute

Far away from the wreck we made

Now if we jump together, at least we can swing

But we ran our course, we pretended we're okay

Well, it's eating me up inside

And the image of you being with someone else

And I'm left there with my thoughts

When evening falls

I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier

Lately, I've been, I've been thinking

I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier

Lately, I've been, I've been thinking

Know that means I'll have to leave

I want to see you smile but

I wanna raise your spirits

'Cause this just don't feel right to me

I want to change my mind

Then only for a minute

I think that we both know the way that this story ends

'Cause with all that has happened

EVery argument, every word we can't take back

Not the fire that we've begun

In the cold light of day, we're a flame in the wind

When we see what we've become

When the morning comes

Look at this cowboy boot. I didn't come all the way from Colorado—

Is that your outfit?

I didn't come from Colorado to hear you liberals.

Is that your outfit?

Hell yeah.

You're wearing those boots with the— I like the crop top with the ...

Oh, I put the pants over the boots. It looks fire, trust me. Hold up.

Aren't those boots a bit too ...

Trust me, it works.

It's definitely not going to work.

I usually do it, and it works.

If that fits, that's crazy.

Wow.

I'm obsessed with— That I look good at all times.

Because I'm just attractive enough to where sometimes I can look good.

So I was all, "I'm gonna be in photos, maybe. I might look bad. I might **** it up."

So, yeah, I was definitely more stressed out than I'll admit.

My guy, my guy, my guy, eh, eh.

Thanks for coming through.

Luka, you're all grown up and shit.

Wow. This means everything, bro.

I'm overwhelmed. I don't know how to talk about Hot Mess much.

We shot this at 5:00 AM, so it was a five-second exposure.

Because it was super dark. But, with the five-second exposure,

we got the actual lighting of the ****ing sunrise. Insane.

There's so many people here.

It's crazy.

Nothing felt better. The first night was super overwhelming.

We didn't know whether we were gonna cry and shit.

People have wanted to do something this big.

But they want to work, and they want to do this, but they don't know how to go about it.

This is my inspiration.

You can be this young and actually do this shit if you really put in the work.

You know what I mean?

And I want people to do this.

I want to see more young kids ****ing pull shit off like this.

You know what I'm saying?

And it's just— That's what we're working on.

That's the whole thing. We're trying to shift the culture, slowly but surely.

It exceeded my expectations.

All I know, is that it worked out.

All our work really paid off, and ...

I don't know, nothing felt better.

So, that's it.

Cut.

The Geneva Conventions & the 2 Witnesses of Revelation! - Duration: 8:16.

.

[Music]

.

The Geneva Conventions

and the 2 Witnesses of Revelation

.

Rules of Engagement are military directives that outline

which actions are acceptable and which are not during war.

The Geneva Conventions

were designed to provide protection during war

for both civilians and sick wounded or captured soldiers.

The purpose of both

the Geneva Conventions and Rules of Engagement

is to ensure both sides in any conflict

are treated with equal fairness and justice.

In the long-running war between heaven and hell,

the creator and Satan,

there are rules of engagement too.

What one side is allowed to do, the other side can as well,

what one side is prohibited from doing the other cannot either.

The Rules of Engagement guarantee each individual

the right to decide for himself who he shall serve,

the Creator or Satan.

.

The Creator constricted?

.

Some may be offended

at the idea of the divine father Yahuwah

being bound to a set of specific rules

limiting what he can and cannot do,

but the point is justice.

The Father sets boundaries

and he ensures Satan and his forces abide by them.

Yahuwah voluntarily works within the same parameters

to guarantee fairness.

The devil of course lies while the Father does not,

but none can be deceived against their will.

Scripture reveals that eventually Satan himself

will kneel and admit the fairness

and justice of the Father.

At the name of [Yahushua] every knee should bow,

of things in heaven, and things in earth,

and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess

that [Yahushua the Anointed] is Lord,

to the glory of [Yahuwah] the Father.

(Philippians 2:10-11, KJV)

But there is another reason for Yahuwah

enforcing divine rules of engagement,

that is protection, specifically your protection.

The Father is not going to allow you to be deceived and coerced

against your will.

Yahuwah's rules of engagement

ensure that you will not be overwhelmed

when you witness miracles and lying wonders

performed by the devil and those he inspires.

Yahuwah's set boundaries provide divine protection

against these satanic deceptions.

He does this by commissioning two people

for a special work.

These individuals will be his witnesses,

they will counteract the work Satan does

through the beast and the false prophet.

.

THE TWO WITNESSES

.

The rules of engagement

are clearly seen in the Ministry of the two witnesses

described in Revelation Chapter 11.

I will give power unto my two witnesses,

and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred

and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

... And if any man will hurt them,

fire proceedeth out of their mouth,

and devoureth their enemies,

and if any man will hurt them,

he must in this manner be killed.

These have power to shut heaven,

that it rain not in the days of their prophecy:

and have power over waters to turn them to blood,

and to smite the earth with all plagues,

as often as they will.

(Revelation 11:3, 5-6, KJV)

Revelation refers to these two individuals as prophets.

They play an extremely important role

because their work will in a very real sense

counterbalance the evil devices of Satan.

The two witnesses will be empowered

to perform the same miracles

as done by the apostles and prophets of old.

They will heal the sick, raise the dead

and teach truths essential for salvation,

and yet in their humble hearts

they will perfectly reflect the divine image.

Their lives will be a testimony

to the transformative power of divine love.

The Beast, the false prophet and everyone else

Satan empowers to cooperate with his agenda

will also be allowed to work with great power.

They will perform what to all appearances are real miracles,

multitudes who find obeying the truth too inconvenience

will be deceived.

However, Yahuwah will never desert those

who hunger after holiness and truth.

The work of the two witnesses will unmask Error,

reveal the truth and instruct many in righteousness.

.

THE FINAL CONFLICT

.

The Saviour's Second Coming is preceded

by a time of trouble

when divine wrath is poured out upon evildoers.

Many sincere believers fear this time period,

believing that Satan's power

will be fully unleashed upon hapless humanity

and certainly the Bible's descriptions of a beast

that has power to kill everyone

who does not worship as prescribed

is shocking and horrifying.

This fear has led many to assume believers

will be miraculously raptured out of the world

prior to that time but scripture is clear,

believers will still be alive and living upon the earth

through the great tribulation

that precedes the Second Coming.

However, they will not be left to stand and face

Satan's wrath alone and unprotected.

This is where the counterbalancing work

of the two witnesses comes in.

They unmask Satan's deceptions.

.

UNDER THE SHADOW OF HIS WINGS

.

The devil himself has perpetrated the belief

that he will be allowed full and total control over everyone

and everything on earth during the Great Tribulation,

but this is not true.

In the vision of Revelation Chapter 6,

John was shown a book sealed with seven seals.

As each seal is opened an events or a series of events

is set in motion.

The Saviour himself opens each seal

that triggers the next event.

Clearly, heaven always remains in total control.

The prophecies of Revelation can be very frightening,

but it is wrong to conclude

that Yahuwah will abandon his children

during their final conflicts.

All who love Yahuwah and the truth will be preserved,

their minds strengthened,

their spiritual discernment heightened,

heaven is even now preparing the two witnesses

to do their special work.

It is unknown who these individuals will be,

but it's clear

that Satan will not be allowed

to take advantage of the weakness of humanity

during the final battle between truth and error.

Yahuwah's rules of engagement guarantee

that everyone from the most intelligent and well-educated

down to the simplest and most disadvantaged,

will have equal opportunities to exercise their free will

and make knowledgeable decisions

without being deceived against their will.

6 Great Ways to Make Money Shopping This Holiday Season (or anytime!) - Duration: 12:18.

- Hey Angie Nelson here from theworkathomewife.com.

In today's video,

we are going to talk about some great ways

that you can monetize your holiday shopping.

While many people are thinking about shopping

this time of year,

we here at The Work at Home Wife

are always thinking about how we can make more money

doing the things that we're doing anyway,

and that includes holiday shopping.

So today I am going to give you six steps

that you can take in order to make money

while you're shopping this holiday season.

Make sure you stay until the end of the video

to find out how you can learn more

about the great opportunities

I'm talking about in this video,

in addition to some others.

Now, step one in our series here

is going to be signing up for Ebates.

Now, there's a good chance

that you're already familiar with Ebates;

this is a site that will allow you to earn cash back

when you are doing your online shopping

at some of their partner stores.

To date, Ebates has helped members earn over $1 billion

in cash back.

This is a great opportunity.

And if you're like me,

you're signed up for Ebates already,

but you don't always remember to use it.

That was certainly the case for me for several years

until I installed their Ebates button.

This is a little button that goes on your browser,

it's an extension.

Now, once you've installed the Ebates cash back button,

it'll just kind of live in the background of your browser,

until you start shopping.

If you're on one of their partner merchants,

a little button'll pop up in the top of your screen

that will let you know that,

hey, if you click our Ebates button

you can earn some cash back

while you're shopping on this site.

It'll also let you know, sometimes,

if there's a coupon available,

and, like I said,

it just kind of lives in the background.

You really aren't going to notice it at all

until you start your shopping.

In some cases,

it will even give you a little alert up there in the button

if you're not on a merchant site.

Sometimes it'll let you know

if the product that you're looking at

is available at a lower price somewhere else,

or if a coupon is available,

or if cash back is available.

So there are some benefits

to installing that button as well,

in addition to that cash back.

Now Ebates sends out checks quarterly.

As long as you meet their threshold,

they will go ahead and send you a check through the mail.

That happens once a quarter.

Now, it's really easy to get started with Ebates.

It is a free program,

it isn't going to cost you anything

to shop through those links,

but it is going to allow you to earn some of that cash back,

without really having to do anything extra.

Now step two is to sign up for Shopkick.

Shopkick can be used online,

just as you would Ebates,

by shopping through their links and their partner shops.

But one great thing that I do like about is

is for those of us

that do a lot of in-person shopping as well.

Shopkick will allow you to earn Kicks

at many of their partner stores.

And some of these stores,

all you have to do is just walk into the store

and it earn a Kick.

In some cases they may want you to check a price.

And because of that,

it's just a really simple way to start earning

a little bit of extra money

by doing things that you're going to be doing anyway.

These points, or Kicks as they're called,

can be redeemed for free gift cards

at stores like Amazon, Starbucks, and more.

And to date, Shopkick says that they've helped their users

earn more than $68 million in free gift cards.

I'm sure you could use a little bit of that

when it comes time for you to do your holiday shopping

this year.

Now, step three is going to be signing up for a program

called Paribus.

Paribus has been around for several years now.

A couples years back it was acquired by Capital One,

and since then it is totally free to use.

They don't charge you anything

for helping you with their service,

it's 100% free.

And the way that the Paribus program works

is that you link up your email address.

The email that you receive

most of your shopping receipts for

when you're shopping online.

This is a good one.

They only work with about 30 stores,

so this isn't going to be one

that's going to allow you to learn a lot of cash back,

but it does work with some big retailers

like Amazon or Walmart.

Now as I said,

this service links up to your email address,

and it has a little software program

that watches for incoming email receipts

from their partner stores.

Now once it spots one of those receipts,

what this program is going to do

is watch for price drops on the products that you purchased.

If it spots a price drop on something that you purchased

that's within the guarantee window,

Paribus is going to go ahead and reach out to that merchant

and request that difference in price.

If it's granted,

that will be sent right back to the card that you purchased

the product with.

So it won't be Paribus that's sending you cash back,

it will be the merchant

that's just refunding that difference in price

should there be a price drop.

Now, a lot of people are worried about giving Paribus

access to their email,

but as I said,

one thing to keep in mind is this is a company

that was acquired by Capital One back in 2016,

so it does have a big name behind it that you can trust.

Paribus also ensures that they do not open any email

other than the receipts from their partner stores,

and they also guarantee

that they're not going to share your data.

Now, if price matching is something

that you're really interested in,

but maybe you do a lot of your shopping in the store

as opposed to online,

one app that you are going to want to check in to

is the Walmart Savings Catcher,

if you are a Walmart shopper.

This one's really simple to use,

whenever you shop at Walmart just go ahead

and scan that QR code that's at the bottom of your receipt

with the smartphone app that's on your phone.

And then Walmart will go to work,

and as far as price checking,

they will look through the other sales fliers

from their competitors in your area.

And if any of the items that you purchased that day

are available at a lower price

in one of those sales fliers,

Walmart's going to give you the difference,

there in their Savings Catcher app.

So that's definitely one to check out

if you do in store shopping,

and if you're a Walmart shopper.

It's a free program,

so go ahead and put that one to good use as well.

Now, step four is signing up for Acorns.

If you're already going to be spending money

this shopping season,

what's a few more cents?

Now what Acorns does,

is there are a service that I started using

What they do is watch you,

when you sign up you're going to link up a credit card

or a debit card of your choosing.

And Acorns is then going to start watching for purchases.

You can set it up so that when you make a purchase,

Acorns will round it up to the next dollar,

and it will take those cents and it will invest them.

So this isn't one

that's going to be necessarily a savings account,

it's going to be an investment account.

And they actually have quite a few different ways

that you can start investing with that service,

in addition to those round-ups,

they do have the opportunity to go ahead

and set up a certain amount to be invested

on a recurring schedule;

maybe that's $20 a month for you,

or a couple dollars a week.

It will go ahead and start investing that money

on a regular basis.

Now, as of May 2018,

over 3.5 million people were using the Acorns service.

And most of those were millennials.

Now, Acorns does cost you $1 per month

for accounts with balances less than $5,000.

It does go to a certain percentage

once you do reach that $5,000 mark.

Now, the lest step we're going to talk about today

is Receipt Hog.

If you're already doing things

like scanning receipts for Ibotta,

or scanning those Walmart receipts for the Savings Catcher,

you can go ahead and start scanning them

with Receipt Hog as well.

This is another app that's going to go on your phone.

Unlike many of the opportunities

we're talking about today,

this one isn't going to be tied to any specific merchant.

Instead what it is going to give you credit

is based on the categories that you're shopping.

Now, this one allows you to earn in three different ways.

You can earn coins, which is going to be money.

You can earn spins, which is a chance to win coins.

Or sweepstakes, which is another chance to win some coins.

Now, the coins are always going to equal cash.

And the other two are just going to be,

kind of entries, and a game of chance,

in order to give you the opportunity to earn cash.

Coins, you can redeem them for PayPal cash,

gift cards, or some of the other rewards

that are offered by Receipt Hog.

Now, at the time of filming this video,

the receipt rewards kind of worked in the following ways.

You could earn coins from retailers

that primarily sell consumer products,

like groceries, pharmacies, convenience stores.

And those coins are based on the receipt's total.

Now, the spin receipts are from all other stores,

like clothing stores, auto parts, home improvement,

office supplies, things like that.

Now, currently,

each of these receipts will earn you one spin,

and that spin will give you the chance to earn coins.

Now, their sweepstake-only receipts

are going to be a lot of things in the other categories;

we're talking about restaurants, bakeries,

maybe you stop and just got gas at the convenience store

as opposed to buying anything inside.

You can go ahead and scan those receipts,

but what they're going to do is give you entries

into their monthly sweepstakes.

You aren't going to earn any spins or coins off the bat.

This'll just give you an entry into a sweepstakes,

that's an opportunity to earn some more coins.

Now, Receipt Hog only accepts receipts

that are less than 14 days old,

and there are going to be some receipts

that aren't going to earn you anything.

Those are going to be things like credit card bills,

ticket stubs, service invoice, handwritten receipts,

things like that.

Now, occasionally there is a wait list for Receipt Hog,

so I'll go ahead and leave you a link

in the description below,

and you can get that app downloaded now,

or get on the wait list.

Now, those are just a few of the great ways

that you can monetize your holiday shopping.

And you don't have to just use these

during the holiday season,

you can use them year 'round as well.

Whenever you can earn some extra cash

by doing things you're doing anyway,

it's a good day in my book.

Now, you aren't going to get rich,

you're probably not going to be able to shop for free,

but every little bit counts.

Now I'm going to leave you some links

in the description below to these opportunities,

along with some others.

Go ahead and check those out.

As always, if you know of any other great opportunities,

go ahead and share them in the comments.

My viewers always love learning about other opportunities

that are available.

And before you leave today,

please make sure that you are subscribed to my channel

so you'll get notification of the next video.

And if you like today's video,

please give it a like and a share as well.

Until next time,

I wish you best of luck

in finding some great money making opportunities.

How You Can Make Money Without Starting Your Own Company - Duration: 6:29.

Hi guys! This is Matt here in Dubai. So let's say you are not an entrepreneur and you

don't want to be. Let's say that this is something that is just not for you. Let's

say that you just enjoy working within certain time frames and you enjoy

someone telling you what to do. Some people like it! Right? Like I just you

know, Matt, two of my friends back from you know ten years ago when I was you

know make from childhood basically and you know they finish their universities

and they are starting their careers or started their careers and they say that

they like what entrepreneurs do these days in terms of traveling the world

being you know free location dependent but also free to be able to work on your

computer etc but they don't like this idea of like starting your own company

they don't like the idea of taking the responsibility and risk they just want

to take care of one thing that they are good at and they don't want to you know

make sure that they don't want everything on their shoulders and this

is normal for some people some people just don't like this entrepreneurial

path this is that for me but there is a lot of people a lot of my friends back

from my high school back from when I was young who tell me they don't like to

take so much responsibility and they ask is there a way for them to get this

freedom the same entrepreneurial freedom of traveling the world, working on a

computer but without starting their own company, without doing everything by

themselves. You know they just like entrepreneurs right? just like online

entrepreneurs they don't want to stay at the office they don't want to stay in

rainy England, rainy Poland, rainy Netherlands, Germany, United States

during the winter work in a cubicle they don't want it they want something

creative something cool something you know somehow entrepreneurial in terms of

being creative while they are creating whatever they are producing but they

don't want to take all this responsibility and this is cool this is

okay there is a way for those guys to achieve that - so what they need what

you need if you just you if you're this kind of person is

three things specifically three things it's really not that hard the

first thing you need is to realize that you need to work with the market just

like entrepreneurs and the way that entrepreneurs work with the market is

that they understand that customers are looking for specific solutions to your

problems so you have to forget about the idea "I will finish University" for you

know like marketing or economy or like something general because nobody cares

like companies that are potentially buying your services or in your case

your time your projects they will not care about like whatever university you

finished anything general they will one chief to offer them something very very

specific so for example you want to offer them let's say Photoshop editing

you want to be the best and bought the shop you want to have this skill you

want to offer to companies there is a lot of companies who need this as they

process in their company to edit their pictures there could be another specific

skill like for example you know if they're posting a lot on Facebook or if

they are publishing anything out there they need people to write the text write

that write the copy so this is a another specific skill you learn how to write

the copy you offer this to companies you could learn coding you could learn

Facebook ads you could learn you know specific 3d modeling anything that you

did before but you have to focus in one very specific skill and you have to

offer this very specific thing so forget about like being in general like no more

general stuff so that's the first thing - so entrepreneurs think so you can

think like this as a freelancer as a contractor is a you know person work

with them individually you can do it too but you need to offer a specific skill

second thing that you have to do like intrapreneurs do you need to sell it so

you need to learn basic of sales but I'm not talking about like wolf of Wall

Street sales you need to learn how to get those customers how to find them and

this is a struggle for many people who are not entrepreneurial or who or not

like willing to turn your own companies because they just didn't like this idea

of sales they don't like this idea of like pushing your product or service

they just like to get projects and just do them and I understand that but you

don't need to learn any like crazy sales you just need to learn basic ways to get

customers so you should check my other videos there is all those explained but

basically you should find out how to get customers from upwork from Fiverr from

Facebook from YouTube from LinkedIn in your social network all those options

are available out there so you just need to learn how to find them and you need

to learn how to offer something to them and then there is not gonna be any crazy

sales for you there is just going to be finding them that's the most important

thing so at the beginning it's hard to sell something for you if you're not you

know like willing to go into sales and welcome holstered kind of stuff you just

have a skill you have a good specific skill and you just want to offer this so

what you can do is offer like really cheap services for your customers like

one hour of your work or like a test project or something for free and this

way you can win their trust they can see you work well and this way

you can sell to them after so that's the way to acquire them so just to summarize

what we went through so far make sure you offer something very specific and

second thing is make sure you know how to get those customers then the third

thing if you don't know how to sell to them once you get them offering them

something for free at the beginning or something very cheap to win their trust

and this is how you become a freelancer this is how you become a person who it's

not really a business owner and not really a you know like big FA and

sharpener with all these responsibilities but you get all these

benefits that entrepreneurs get like for example being location dependent or for

example you know being able to just have this freedom of creation. Thanks for

watching the video and I see you guys tomorrow in Vietnam.

How to Make Chocolate Mirror Glaze | The Great Canadian Baking Show - Duration: 2:02.

BRUNO: Today I'm gonna show you how to make a beautiful

and shiny chocolate mirror glaze.

We call it a mirror glaze because if you look at it,

you can fix your hair, and look how beautiful you are.

First put the gelatin leaves into cold water.

You're gonna use cold water because if it's a bit too warm,

it will melt and dissolve the gelatin.

I'm gonna add the cream

into my warm water and glucose

and then the cocoa powder.

We're gonna use a spatula and gently stir it.

If I use a hand whisk

we're going to incorporate a lot of air bubbles.

That's gonna take away the shine of the whole chocolate glaze.

So now it's simmering.

I'm gonna remove it from the stove for a minute.

Gonna start to work on my gelatin.

Be sure to remove all the water

and then add the gelatin into the chocolate glaze.

Once the gelatin is dissolved,

I'm gonna pass the whole mixture

through a very fine strainer.

You have to pour with confidence.

Pour all at once in one motion.

Notice the consistency

and how shiny the glaze is.

Give a very slight tapping.

The cake is glazed perfectly.

It's shiny.

It has this beautiful gloss.

I can see myself in the mirror and more importantly,

there are no bubbles.

And from there you can decide to decorate it the want.

Add some berries, and your cake becomes a rock star.

Reading Wrap Up | October 2018 - Duration: 12:01.

Hi everyone it's Lauren and today I'm going to be talking you through and

reviewing all of the books that I read in the month of October. As always

there's going to be a list and links to each of the books in the description box

below if you're particularly interested in any of them and what to look into

them a little bit more for yourself. I've read some pretty good books this month

but there's one that really stands out for me and they need to be quite careful

that I don't just turn this whole video into an appreciation of this one

singular book I think it's my favorite book that I've read so far this year and

that's Delusions of Gender by Cordelia Fine. Now, I did think I was going to like

this book before I read it to be fair because it's all about picking apart

preconceptions about gender and it's looking into really is gender something

from society and that we're socialized into or is it about differences in a

male and female brain? What she's doing in this book is really really

examining this hypothesis that men and women are different because their brains

are different or because their minds are different and they work in a different

way, so she looks socially at this idea that women are more empathetic and

better at multitasking and men are better at honing in on a specific task and

becoming experts in certain things like science, and she kind of comes at it from

all angles. She looks at lots of different studies that have looked at

infants and kind of the kind of toys that children are interested in and kind

of anecdotal studies about men and women and how they behave and she also looks

at studies that have focused in specifically on the brain itself, how

different brains are structured, how they operate and it's just fascinating

because there are so many different studies, this is so well researched and

as she goes through them she sees that all these studies and the scientists

themselves are coming at it with a preconception as to how men and women

behave. So for example one study might show that women use both half of their

brains to do a certain task or to think a certain thing and whereas men are more

likely to use one side of their brains and the scientists will immediately snap

to 'oh this is why women are better at empathizing or multitasking because

they're using both halves of their brain and the man is better at just using one

part of his brain' and yet another study will show

completely the opposite thing and say 'well this is why men are better at being

professionals and being experts and things because they use more parts of

their brain' and it's just these things don't add up and people are just jumping

to conclusions which they've been socialized to believe and they're not

looking at the actual scientific facts and it's just amazing how systematically

she goes through all of these different studies. I mean it's...I can't even give

you examples as to all the things that she goes through because I will just be

reading the book back to you but she goes through so many different studies

and she comes at it from all these different angles and almost every time

she looked at the result of these studies and says 'well how does this show

that at birth a male mind and a female mind are different?' like how did this

show that women are better suited to household labor and men are better

suited to being president and prime minister from birth, how does

any of this show that? Other than when babies are born they have been

socialized to behave a certain way. She's trying to unpick this idea

that gender is innate, for example she looks at studies that

have been done of groups of monkeys where the females in these groups are

more likely to do the nurturing of the infants and then she says okay that's

great but this exact same group of monkeys in a different part of the world

exactly the same species the same relation to us in that society of

monkeys, the males are more likely to do the

nurturing. So she's saying even within animal societies it's more about what's

learned than it is an innate thing and that women are more programmed to

nurture. It's like she's trying to argue that men are equally programmed to

nurture as a baby, it's just the way that we grow up and the way we're socialized

oh I don't know if I'm even explaining this properly! But it's just absolutely

fascinating and she just has so much evidence like an overwhelming amount of

evidence which shows that children are just very, very keen to socialize

themselves. They're categorized from such young age as being a boy or a girl so

when they see other boys or other girls doing certain things and men and women

doing certain things they want to align themselves to that. I said this whole

video wasn't gonna be about this book I'm so sorry, but the other thing that I

really loved about it was her tone and her voice. It was very

much like being in a lecture I felt and she was very calm and systematic and

just going through the data but it did have elements of her own personality in

there and she didn't talk about herself and her own experiences that much just

when it was relevant and considering this is a very complex thing she's

really looking at the science of the brain like neuroscience

things that I have no idea about I felt like it was really easy to understand

and in fact I mean if you are into reading kind of feminist,

Gender Studies, equality-based literature, I actually felt that this was easier to

understand than a lot of other books such as Feminism is for Everybody by

bell hooks, because those books rely on definitions of societal structures such

as the patriarchy and oppression and things like that, which if you don't

really know what that means it could be quite difficult to access and she's not

really looking at society here she's just looking at the science of gender

let the pure science of it she's not talking about oppression and

patriarchy and intersectionality and how people experience sexism and gender

difference, she's looking at but is gender actually a thing? Does

gender difference actually exist on a scientific biological form or is it that

as we grow up into adults we are socialized in a certain way and

therefore because brains are so plastic they do change over time? I just, I just

loved it I probably should do a whole video on

this which is less rambley and more to the point where I talk about everything

I love about it or you could all just read it yourselves which is actually

what is you should do! Next I read To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf and yeah

this was okay, I quite enjoyed the reading experience because I quite liked

her writing. As a plot, as a book to read I didn't enjoy it as much as I have some

of her other work. This is about a family, the Ramsey family who have eight

children and the first part of the book takes place when they're all at their

summer house with some friends as well and most of this section of the

book is taking place over one day and mostly one dinner. The second part of the

book then shows the passage of time and how the house changes and

the third section we have the family returning as adults and making a trip to

the lighthouse which they didn't get to do all those years before, so it's really

about time and life and death we spend time in each of the characters minds and

we really see how they feel about themselves and how they interpret other

people and it's it's quite interesting to see how that's then interpreted by

other characters and it's kind of about moments in life and whether they're

important and kind of how moments are so fleeting it's about memory and kind of

what our lives mean further down the further down the road like after we've

died, that's what I've taken from it and I did really enjoy certain passages

where she was inside the mind of Mrs. Ramsey and the women maybe it's just me

but the women I found kind of easier to tell apart and understand what was going

on there were quite a few male characters in this book

who I couldn't, I couldn't really quite work out who they were and I couldn't

work out the difference between them because she's jumping between characters

so much and it's not, you know, a typical traditional narrative which is like 'and

then Mr. Smith walked in' it's just, you're sort of jumping around trying to

piece it all together in typical Woolf fashion. It's one of

those books where it's quite short and technically there's not a

great deal of plot but the prose does take quite a long time to read so it's

quite slow and by the end of it I was kind of like 'ok I'm done now' by

the third section of the book I was a bit bored. And finally a brand new novel

that I picked up which was Melmoth by Sarah Perry. Sarah Perry wrote The Essex

Serpent which was one of my favorite books a couple of years ago, so I was

really excited to pick up her new one. This is very different and I'm going to

try and consciously not compare this to The Essex Serpent during this review

because they are just very different books on balance I think I preferred The

Essex Serpent but there's elements in this which I absolutely loved as well. So

in this book we follow this woman Helen Franklin who is living in Prague,

one of her friends comes up to her very distressed saying he's heard about this

woman Melmoth who is this kind of biblical / mythological figure and he's

been reading lots of different accounts about her and what she is, is this woman

who witnesses what people do. So it's got some elements of the supernatural in

there and he's worried that Melmoth has been watching him and he gives all of

his files over to Helen he's like 'you need to read this you need to understand'

and she's the kind of character which watches people since she's been

wandering the earth for thousands of years she's so lonely and she finds

people in their most loneliest and at their most desperate and asks them to

come with her. So Helen's friend is very scared that she's gonna ask him to come

with her and then we see Helen reading these journals these different kind of

source material I suppose, different points in history what other people have

claimed they've seen Melmoth and so you're reading all of these different

accounts and you're also following Helen on her journey and trying to work out

why she's in Prague because she has a history which she is feeling very guilty

for and something that she's keeping secret as well. So as a narrative it's

quite choppy and quite busy because we're spending time with Helen and

we're also reading all of these different, I guess source material

there's some diaries, they're mostly diaries to be fair and some letters, all

from different parts of history and to be honest I actually really enjoyed the

letters. There's a section set in Prague during the Second World War which I really

enjoyed I found that very interesting, which is all about the kind of native

Germans who were living in Czechoslovakia at the time and you know

all the horrors that went on there. All of the different stories are really

about how awful human beings can be to each other and Melmoth is there as the

witness to us in like in our most disgusting and vile.

I really liked those sections, I'm not sure I really was interested in Helen

particularly as a character or that interested in her story but I really

liked how it all kind of came together at the end, so it depends

what you're interested in reading I guess. I really liked the historical

nature of this novel I really liked the supernatural elements of it. I did think

this is a really good time of year to read this book

because it is quite spooky in places and I actually think it would make a really

good movie or perhaps like a TV series, if it was adapted, I can

really visualize it working well in that sense. But you know, if you're someone

who wants to stay with one character and just read a plot about them then this

won't be for you, there's lots of moving around, but if you like your idea of kind

of getting lots of different characters perspectives and reading about lots of

different things, you know if you like short story collections then this might

be more for you. So only three this month but I kind of like it when I have fewer

books per video really because it gives me more of a chance to really get into

them and discuss them properly. I'd love to hear from you what you've been

reading this month, I would love to hear from you if you've read any of these

books before and I will see you in my next video, bye!

you

Pocztówka (karta litografowana) z ok. 1920 r. o tematyce żołnierskiej - Duration: 1:12.

We present a satirical postcard today from about 1920 about soldiers' themes.

We really like the story written in small, charming postcards from a century ago.

This postcard, with really nice, saturated colors, is a testimony of the times,

when the struggle for Poland's independence continued, even though the country was independent for two years.

Pride of brave soldiers probably mixed with fatigue,

and the war effort and subordination of life to the needs of the army caused a desire to liberate laughter.

As you can see, the soldiers in the attached picture represented features that are characteristic of the wars since ancient times:

a mixture of self-complacency with a slightly unstable stride and drink-burned faces.

The inscription under the picture reads, with slightly ironic doubt intent: "Hey! Hi! Uhlans, painted children,

Many a lady will recommend you. "

In an antiqueshop we have a whole series of this type of military period postcards.

Please visit www.atticus.pl

to the old postcards department.
