Nat Reviews: Imagine Dragons' Lost Cause - Duration: 12:43.
Greetings everyone and welcome to the lair of the Nattie for this week I bring you a
Nat Reviews 'special' of sorts for the Halloween season.
This is the series where I take a look at a random piece of media and give my thoughts
on it.
This week around we will be taking a look at a rather early
song by the group Imagine Dragons, that being their song from 2012, Lost Cause.
Let us dive in, muahahaha.
Okay, so what is Lost Cause?
It is a song I feel may be a bit forgotten now and it was released just weeks after It's
Time.
So it's a fair bit of an early one for them.
It was also released just weeks after Night Visions originally
came out in September 2012.
So that is the era we are going to be experiencing here.
Just before they hit it big with Radioactive and
the other tracks from Night Visions.
Okay, so why would I be taking a look at a song I feel may be forgotten?
Well, it's this song that actually introduced me to Imagine Dragons in the first place.
Yes, a song that is very obscure in their discography is what introduced
me to them, strange isn't it?
But yes, this song came from the soundtrack to a movie I was very much interested in at
the time, that being Frankenweenie.
Yup, I talk so much about Imagine Dragons' soundtrack work and it's a soundtrack song
that helped me discover them, fun.
But yes, how many people actually remember Frankenweenie?
I fear it's become a forgotten movie, but I found it fascinating and I love it's visual
style and everything.
It also may catch your attention but yes, sort of Halloween themed song and movie, what
are the odds I review it so close to Halloween and it be my Halloween 'Special'?
I didn't even plan that one out haha, but yup!
Halloween-ish themes all around this week!
I won't spoil what happens in Frankenweenie but I have a connection to the movie still
thanks to this song, I still enjoy the movie!
But does the song still hold up?
I haven't heard it in so long, but let's find out!
Alrighty, so first things first, this song doesn't have an official music video, so I
am unable to take a look at that.
The group weren't big at the time, so it's understandably so.
Plus, yknow, soundtrack songs didn't tend to be as big then as they are now, so likely
something there too.
Compared to others on the soundtrack Imagine Dragons were not a big name, for
the time being that is.
Many of the names big on the album were ones big during the early to mid-2010s indie wave.
Names like Awolnation, Plain White T's, Passion Pit, Mark Foster, Neon
Trees, Skylar Gray, and Robert Smith.
Imagine Dragons hadn't even really made a name for themselves mainstream at the time
but they had been growing in their name with their many year
long concert tours, eventually signing with Alex da Kid.
But yes, Imagine Dragons at this time were growing their name amongst the indie rock
community at the time, known for blending their sound by mixing many genres together.
Night Visions was a sign of those years of developing their
sound.
That album had a vast array of sounds as they produced the album for years.
It's Time even was from before Platz joined the group.
But the early years of Imagine Dragons I hope to cover in a future review, I wanna focus
on the story around this song for now.
Like I did on my previous September reviews.
The makers of the album, Disney (Odd, my last two reviews for Imagine Dragons involve them
doing a song for Disney, huh), had gathered many artists together, I believe in an attempt
to be 'with the times' since they saw the trend
was facing towards indie musicians.
Imagine Dragons were in reach as Skylar Grey was around, so there could be that as a reason.
This song isn't talked about often so info on it is scarce.
But I notice something with the music titles on the album, they seem to be a bit angsty
and aimed towards young adults of the time.
Eh, I don't know what the other songs are like, it's been ages since I've heard them,
but eh, who knows.
Just working off titles.
But alright, let's move onto the song now!
Alright, so the song itself starts with a bit of a spooky sound, as to be expected for
the movie's theme.
It starts slow and spooky with a contorted bit of audio.
There is something that is immediately obvious to me and that is what the song sounds like.
It is very much of the vein of Alex's work around the time, he was in his prime at the
time doing songs for many groups including ones
that got extremely successful.
This song has a strong similarity to one of Alex's songs around the time, which coincidentally
included Skylar Grey, that being I Need A Doctor.
Like, listen to each song back to back (Links in description) and you'll notice that instrumentally
the songs are eerily similar.
Okay, so instrumentally the song doesn't entirely resemble a song from Night Visions, likely
why it wasn't included on anything for that album.
But yes there is the dark sound that Night Visions had, but as for things aside
the dark sound, it doesn't sound like the music Imagine Dragons were doing at the time.
It is definitely a Imagine Dragons song of the time
just in the lyrical department.
Lyrically it's very 2012 Imagine Dragons, instrumentally it's I Need A Doctor and Alex
da Kid's style of the time.
Heavy in drums/drum machines, heavy industrial sound and dark rock.
It was the industrial rock of the time I was beginning to discover by the way and I was
interested, so this song went really well into it.
What is the song lyrically like?
Well, it is very inspired by the movie from my memory of it.
The parts of burying someone and saying they are all that person has, yes.
It relates to the movie very well in that sense.
The dark sound blends with the movie too for what it was trying to do.
I do note a comparison of my own of this song to Blue October's Hate Me, as in
the protagonist wants the other person to be rid of the protagonist for their own good.
There isn't the suicidal themes of Zero or Hate Me, but it's still suggesting of it.
The protagonist feels they are deep in depression and can't be freed or raised back to positivity.
They feel hopeless and feel they are hurting their friends and loved ones by sticking
around.
The shallow grave part suggests that to me that they feel they are worthless.
They find comfort in a certain friend and value them highly however as a note there.
The lyrics to me suggest this, but you can have any other view on it yourself.
I am sure there are many ways the lyrics can be taken, this is just my thoughts.
I will give one little side note before moving onto the conclusion, but I notice that the
way one is being buried and in a shallow grave, this really reminds me of Natural's music
video, where Dan Reynolds did this exact thing.
So maybe that bit was a call back to this song?
Who knows.
But yes, onto the conclusion.
Well, the song is certainly of it's time.
It is perhaps the darkest song the group has ever made, dealing with death and hopelessness.
The song has never been performed live and it is
not found on any streaming platforms, it appears the song is extremely mysterious and is almost
like it's trying to be covered up by the group or the label.
There is surprisingly scarce information on this song even on the internet.
The song is a forgotten gem of the band and it appears that is how it will stay.
But I am glad to share it with you, videos for it are
scarce but one is linked below.
The song holds a very special place for me being the one that introduced me to the group.
It's dark themes also work well for this time of year, being
Halloween and all, so certainly do check it out as it really goes well with the season's
themes!
You definitely should check it out if you enjoy Alex da Kid's work and the early 2010s
era of alt rock music/indie rock/rock music.
Okay, so what would I rate it if I had to?
Well, it's a gem of a song buried by the sands of time and it is very much forgotten about
or unknown to many it seems.
It deserves a listen for the curious, but as a song overall aside
the mystery...
I think the song probably gets a A- from me, the special place it has just swings it to
the A range, the mystery is interesting to me as well.
But yes, overall the song is very of it's time and goes neatly with the movie soundtrack
songs Imagine Dragons did at the time, even if at the same time it stands out for
being such an oddity.
Check it out if curious, but yes, the song gets my recommendation.
I don't even need to answer this if you've been around my channel or seen my other Imagine
Dragons reviews, but the answer is most certainly yes!
This was the song that introduced me to them in general.
Now, six years later, that continues!
My enjoyment of their stuff has went through period of ups and downs but I still look forward
to their new stuff even so.
Origins, their follow up to Evolve, will be coming out November 9th and I am very much
looking forward to it, though I would like some more singles released first to get a
feel for the album more.
But as for their work aside albums, I think they have mostly stopped doing music directly
for movies, compared to how they were years ago, but their music is still used
very widely among many medias.
This is getting a bit off topic, but yes, the answer is certainly!
As for the movie?
It is definitely one I feel people should check out more, it's a very odd movie from
the time and it's interesting to me.
Odd how I remember it still so much even this long after seeing it the one time.
Definitely worth checking out for the curious.
I won't spoil what happens in it, so don't worry.
It's a movie I still hold dear from my childhood for
all it was.
Do give it a look if you wish, but yes, appears we've reached the end.
Alright, so that just about does us this week for the spooky nature of the holiday!
Hope you all have a wonderfully spooky time this Halloween, just... don't try reanimating
the dead like in the movie.
This has been your hostess Nattie, thank you for spending some time with me in my lair.
Now go flee before the monsters begin rising from the night.
Oh, dig my shallow grave 'Cause it's not me you'll save
'Cause I'm a lost cause I'm a lost cause
A lost, lost cause

Florida Roofing Leads Hire a Canvasser - Duration: 7:45.
hey James Webb here I just wanted to make a quick video just I see a lot of
stuff about you know marketing and you know the construction industry and
roofing and being in the construction industry for about Oh 18 years I got a
lot to say about it and I just wanted to show you know this is actual building
I'm getting ready to put the roof on you know and sorry if it's a little windy
you know I've got my construction site here I live out in the country so it
tends to get a little windy and I've got some of my house wrap is still hanging
out that I have yet staple up and I put blocks up you know cuz I've got quite a
quite a big pitch and I'm getting ready to to jump up there and do the roofing
like I say being in the in the contracting industry I'm more
concentrated I was contractor mostly in the flooring so I did a lot of the the
cleanup you know when there was a leaky roof when it wasn't installed properly
it wasn't repaired properly or just from like a hail storm out here in Texas
where I'm at you know there's a lot of area for these storms to build up across
we get here a little bit and better in the Sun or you can see and so I ended up
fixing a lot of the stuff you know cleaning up at a carpet cleaning
business as well you know cleaning up the damage that happens you know after a
storm and you know it's important for any business you know to be able to get
the leads that you need to be able to sustain you know it's approaching winter
time right now at this moment and I know from working construction you know that
can be a harder time you need to be able to to rely on a system that can get you
you know those leads you know especially you know roofing leads you know and I
know areas you know I like Florida needs roofing leads you know after Hurricane
Michael that will date this video a little bit but there's always storms
and there's always eight to say opportunity in the madness you know not
to exploit something like that but people really need help they need the
roof fix they need the houses fixed they need the flooring fixed they need
everything big so I'm trying to make you sick going around here in a circle but
you know I see a lot of these marketing videos where people are sitting with a
green screen behind them talking about getting roofing leads and getting
construction leads and what's better and what's not they're hidden they never see
any construction site never been on a construction site I've been on tens of
thousands these days I I still build but I build websites and I still love
looking a little scraggly from time to time a lot getting out and building
things like this so you know that qualifies me a little bit better you
know I see people talking about getting roofing leads you know sitting in their
kitchen or sitting on the couch with a sweater on and no pretty girls are fun
and all but you know that's not gonna get you leads I know for a fact I work
with Hire a Canvasser and I've done you know work through them and I know from
personal experience that having boots on the ground
always always beats any telemarketing any Facebook advertising anything that
you can do it's the personal one-on-one connection even if it's just like this
right here you know a one-on-one consultation that's what I do in my
business that's why I'm successful in what I do and I can build that trust
because it's not that I'm a great speaker but I'm willing to get
one-on-one and give real with somebody and say I either can or I can't do this
for you and if I can I'll let you know like if I was going to come bid this
roof I would say yes absolutely we've got a roofing company if I'm a
canvasser like I know canvassing works hundred percent if I ever opened up my
carpet cleaning business again 100 percent I'd have canvasers was going
around everywhere because everywhere I guarantee you at least one person on
each block is gonna need their carpet clean guaranteed and you can sell them a
good quality canvas or can pre-sell that for you and I can have my guys in there
15 minutes ready to clean a couch or sofa
Scotchgard anything and it's the same for roofing sorry my hands getting a
little shaky now it's exactly the same for roofing in every other country
contracting industry so you can see my pops is getting home that's my truck
right there I love that baby but it's the same in any industry especially
roofing I know that having a canvasser versus a telemarketer to get you roofing
leads is the way to go because there's nothing like a personal one-on-one
connection there's nothing that could possibly could possibly compare that's
why word-of-mouth referrals are so good because you've got your friend telling
you hey this guy over here did a good job this guy made me the greatest sales
funnel in the world you know and that's what I do I make some of the best sales
files in the world and you know I can speak from experience working with
Shawn Meredith and hire a canvasser and their free book even if you just got that
sorry for each other even if you just got that over it leads higher a
canvasser calm was a free ebook the description will be in any of the links
you can get it free just if you want to do canvassing on your own it's much so
powerful even if you don't hire Sean or any other canvasser the tips that he
gives you in this free ebook are incredibly compelling because there's
there's a little ninja tactics that you can use you know I don't want to give
any of it away but you know some of it was contrary to what I used to think and
once I realized I was like yeah you know I could approach anybody's door and sell
them something you know based on these techniques that he gives you so that's
my spiel on it you know if you if you want roofing leads and you want to go
with the marketer you know go with somebody like Sean over it hire
canvasser because I can't stress enough the importance of being one-on-one these
other videos with with girls and their sweaters on the couch and the green
screens guys with the green screens in the back you know that's not something
that I would listen to and I would recommend definitely clicking the link
below get you a free consultation with Sean and Hire a canvas or you know see
what they can do for you and you know definitely was roofing Lee that's the
way to go and there's no other two ways about it
and that's my recommendation for you being a professional marketer myself and
having spent 18 years in the construction industry I know what I'm
talking about so uh take care have a good day

EVENING CLEAN WITH ME 2018 ~ COOKING & CLEANING ~ CLEANING MOTIVATION - Duration: 12:48.
hey guys welcome back to my channel if you guys are new here my name is Amanda
welcome I do a bunch of like mommy videos and cooking cleaning basically
anything that has to do with being a mom and just trying to survive everyday life
as a mom now today is a day where I just spent literally the whole day at the
rink so I have my home chef delivery that just came in the other day
I ordered the meals that I needed to make because I knew we were gonna have a
busy weekend so I ordered the meals and now I have them ready well they're not
quite ready yet but they are in my fridge and I just have to assemble them
and put them together so today I'm gonna be doing a cooking clean with me I'm
gonna show you guys what I'm going to be making from home chef and I'm gonna be
doing the cleanup afterwards thank you to home chef for sponsoring this video
this meal service was honestly a lifesaver tonight after our long busy
day at the rink the kids are starving and so am I so I'm gonna get started
with preparing our meal now I just put that whole box in my fridge downstairs
and it stayed cold actually the ice packs are still cold from the delivery
two days ago which is super awesome and everything in this box was so so fresh
it was fresh like probably even more fresh than I would have gotten it from
the grocery store honestly I was really really impressed you guys have to go
over to home chefs website and check out the variety of delicious meals they have
there honestly there are so many and if you click the link down below in my
description box it'll take you right to their website and you will automatically
get $30 off of your first order so this first meal was steak strip
chimichangas and honestly you guys these turned out dynamite like my husband was
raving about them the kids loved them they were so tasty
and they were so easy to make I actually ordered two meals this one is honey
mustard chicken salad sandwiches and we are actually gonna have that tomorrow
because we have another somewhat busy day tomorrow so those will be perfect
for our lunch tomorrow also I wanted to tell you guys that home chef has great
portion sizes I really wasn't sure what to expect when I placed my first order
we do have big eaters in our house with five guys in the house so got my hubby
and my four boys we tend to go through a lot of food and there are never any
leftovers really so I wasn't quite sure how it was gonna work out with not being
able to decide how much I'm making but there was more than enough honestly it
was so so good the food tasted great and there was plenty of food to go around I
was just trying to give you guys a little close-up of the red peppers there
because honestly those were the crispiest
and freshest red peppers that I have seen lately in the grocery store when
I've been buying produce especially peppers they will be like soft and like
almost soggy and I'm like really why like I just want fresh vegetables
and I am so so impressed that a meal service that came in a box has
vegetables that are fresh within the grocery store
I can't tell you guys how happy I am to have this meal kit tonight because it
took all of the thinking and the legwork out of preparing a home-cooked meal
sometimes after an exhausting day like my brain is just completely fried and I
cannot think anymore and then right away the first thing that I think is like oh
just grab a couple of pizzas so this is so so great because you are not just
grabbing some quick fast food you've got this all in your fridge it is ready to
go it's laid out for you all you're gonna do is assemble it and you have an
amazing meal for home
all right so while the chimichangas are baking in the oven I'm just gonna get
started with a little bit of the cleanup here I'm just gonna put away some of the
stuff that I used to prepare them and that way it'll just give me a little
head start on the after cleanup for my countertops I'm just gonna be using my
cal drea rosewater driftwood spray now I was using the Cal drea
sea salt neroli spray from my countertops and it smells amazing
now the rosewater driftwood smells really really nice also but I do think
my favorite is still the sea salt neroli
all right so I just baked the chimichangas long enough to get them all
toasty on the outside now they are ready so I'm gonna go call the kids and get
everybody down to the kitchen island for some dinner today's been really hectic
we've had friends in and out of the house ever since we got home from hockey
including the neighbors and whatnot so tonight's dinner is really informal I
just have the chimichangas on the sheet pan here ready for whenever they're
ready to eat so I've got my other little guy upstairs at the Buddy so I'm not
really gonna be worried about calling everybody down to eat all at once I'll
just kind of let them eat whenever they're ready
tonight after dinner cleanup really isn't that bad I've only got a few
dishes and a few dishes from the prep work that I have to get cleaned up
so right now I'm just going to unload the dishwasher because I do have some
clean dishes in there and I'm going to clear the plates from any food that got
left on them and put those in the kitchen sink our kitchen literally never
closes the second somebody finishes eating somebody else is coming down
looking for a snack so Chandan came downstairs looking for an apple because
he really loves to eat apples so of course there's some apples in the corner
over there he came down and he grabbed one for a little bit of dessert
no words only Pete I will break like a bride under your feet don't you say that
you didn't want me turn me upside down and then you
skin and if I let it bake it so big sweet you know life's too short so let's
not waste another minute
I can't take another call
you have to decide you gotta tell me what's on your mind wait a little while
you gotta take a deep I can make you smile when I let you into my face
my skin where will it end if I let it begin it's true
go tree you know life's too short so let's not wait till I turn me in
I do have a little bit left over because my oldest boy decided to sleep out
tonight at his friend's house so I am gonna set this aside so he can have that
tomorrow for lunch before his game
the only ones a really
it's alright this
such a beautiful sound
tomorrow is another really busy day for us so I am so happy that tonight was
really productive I made a delicious healthy meal for my hubby and the kids
and I am going to bed with a clean kitchen because there is nothing worse
than getting up in the morning to a messy kitchen when you have to rush out
the door
I hope you guys enjoyed coming along with me for my cook and clean with me
and spending the evening with me if you guys are interested in trying out home
chef's I highly highly recommend it go ahead and use that link in my
description box down below because that link will give you an automatic $30 off
of your first order take care guys and I will see you guys next time bye
I wake up feeling even small me

Baby Names You Won't Regret In 10 Years - Duration: 6:30.
Trying to come up with a name but want to stick with something timeless?
While we can't be completely certain which names will be stylish in the next decade,
we can pinpoint some tried and true names that have withstood the test of time.
Here are some choices you'll never regret!
Amelia The root word of the name Amelia is "amal,"
which means "work," but you don't have to put in any effort at all to adore this lovely
name.
Amelia came to the attention of the English speaking world in the 18th century, and it
has been going strong ever since.
There are also plenty of famous people to have borne the name, most notably Amelia Earhart
who was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
The name has been on the rise in the United States in recent years, and entered the top
10 baby names for girls in 2017, so Amelia isn't going anywhere any time soon.
Charles If you're looking for regal name for your
little prince, look no further than Charles.
A favorite among rulers throughout the ages, the name's popularity with royals can be traced
to Charles the Great, who is better known to us as Charlemagne.
The name is still used for royals today, notably in the British royal family whose heir to
the throne, Prince Charles, bears the name.
In spite of its powerful legacy, the name Charles is remarkably accessible - particularly
because of its common nickname, Charlie, and its affiliation with loveable pop culture
icons such as Charlie Chaplin, and of course Charlie of the Chocolate Factory fame.
Elizabeth Just like the iconic Elizabeth Taylor who
bears the name, Elizabeth is one of the most cherished names of all time.
It has long dominated the American charts and has never fallen out of the top 30 names
for girls.
It has also been the name of many royals, including two of the most famous monarchs
in history: Britain's Elizabeth I and Elizabeth II.
With so many Elizabeths over the years, your baby will be in good company.
Edward Long before Edward Cullen became the daydream
of Twilight fans, Edward was a beloved English name with ancient roots.
It was borne by many kings throughout history and became so popular around the world that
it has many variations.
Edward comes with several adorable nicknames, including Ed, Eddie, Ned, and Teddy.
Its abundance of variations, combined with its long and royal history, have made it a
favorite with English-speaking parents for centuries.
Julia Whether you're a big fan of actresses Julia
Roberts and Julia Louis-Dreyfus or just a fan of Julia Child's cooking, there's a lot
to love about this name.
"That's so sweet."
Julia has been around for a long time, but it took awhile for it to become common in
the English-speaking world.
Shakespeare used it for a character in his play The Two Gentlemen of Verona in 1594,
but the name didn't really catch on until the 18th century.
Since then, Julia has been going strong.
The name has been in the top 100 list for girls since 1980, making it a safe bet to
put at the top of your list of potential baby names.
William Prince William isn't the only royal to have
borne this name throughout history.
William has long been a mainstay among European royals and nobles, including William the Conqueror,
England's first Norman king.
The name was also borne by several saints, but the most famous bearer of the name is
probably playwright William Shakespeare who, more than 400 years after his death, is still
regarded as one of the most influential writers in history.
With centuries of history under its belt, the name William is positively brimming with
a long legacy that you can pass on to your little one with pride.
Anna With Anna Kendrick ruling the silver screen
for the foreseeable future, it's highly unlikely that this treasured name will be falling off
of top baby name charts this century, let alone within the next ten years.
This traditional name has been beloved throughout history and the world.
It has long been a top 100 girls name in the United States and this classic feminine name
will surely endure for years to come.
Henry You probably remember Henry from history class
as the name of the English monarch who had more than one of his six wives executed, but
the name's history isn't all bad.
English versions of the name include Hank and Harry, both of which are also used as
nicknames for Henry.
In fact, Henry is the full name of the British royal more commonly known as Prince Harry.
With a royal pedigree and a noble meaning, it's no surprise that that this name has survived
for so long.
It fell out of the top 100 names for boys in the late 20th century, but even at its
lowest ranking remained in the top 150.
It has been back in the top 100 names since 2006, and has been rising in popularity ever
since.
Henry is one of those names that never really falls out of fashion, and is the most popular
it has been in decades, thanks to pop culture icons like Henry Cavill and Henry Winkler.
"Ayyyy, whoa!"
Olivia When you hear the name Olivia, you may think
of Grease actress Olivia Newton-John, but we actually have William Shakespeare to thank
for the name Olivia, which he first used in 1602 in his play Twelfth Night.
Given the long-lasting influence of Shakespeare's work, we can be sure that this is a name that
will stick with us for many years to come.
While the name's roots date back centuries, it didn't become very popular until the latter
half of the 20th century.
Perhaps we have actresses like Olivia Wilde to thank for its continued popularity in the
21st century.
Matthew Since 1956, Matthew has steadily remained
in the top 100 names for little boys.
The name Matthew is also held dear in other English-speaking countries, and is also widely
used in France.
Other parts of the world use different versions of the name, including Mateo in Spanish-speaking
countries, Makaio in Hawaii, and Mattia in Italy.
This is one name that isn't going anywhere soon.
'To that I say, alright, alright, alright."

Sunny Again Tomorrow | 내일도 맑음 - Ep.114 [SUB : ENG,CHN,IND / 2018.10.31] - Duration: 33:39.
(Episode 114)
Jinhui.
You decided not to move?
Why are you so fickle?
You came to work, so work.
It's not 9:00 yet.
Shouldn't you take Ji-eun's comfort into account?
Doesn't it occur to you how uncomfortable
she might be, sharing a bathroom
with her father-in-law in that shoebox of a house?
She was so excited to be moving.
Why demoralize her like this?
She was all packed to go,
so how can you blindside her like this, Jinhui?
Say something. Seriously.
Ji-eun,
for how long do you plan on tattling to your mom?
Where did you pick up such a nasty habit?
If you have something to say, say it to my face.
Don't hide behind your mom.
Jinhui, what are you doing?
Lash out at me if you're angry.
Don't bite poor Ji-eun's head off.
"Lash out"?
Did you just say "lash out"?
Should I really lash out?
Jinhui, you're scaring me.
Did I do something else wrong, Jinhui?
If this is about the company funds I embezzled,
I explained to you that it was for Sujeong.
You should let it go, since you agreed to forgive me.
How long will you hound me about it?
Shut your trap and get out!
I don't want to talk to you anymore.
Jinhui.
Didn't I tell you to leave, Ms. Yun?
Yun Seonhui, how long will you keep deceiving me?
Unbelievable.
Hi, Ji-eun.
Your aunt's call caught you off guard, right?
What were you thinking?
How could you
tell Aunt Jinhui what I vented to you?
I did it for you.
You threw a fit because you weren't moving.
So in your place, I...
Don't do things like that for my sake.
It doesn't do me any good, Mom.
Do you think I went along because I agreed?
You and I must lie low
and be careful right now.
Why don't you know that?
Then why did you vent to me?
You shouldn't have done that.
I told you because you're my mom.
If I can't vent to you, I'll suffocate and die.
Every night is a nightmare,
and every moment is hell.
Do you know how often I think
I'd rather come clean than live like this?
You're nuts.
Fine.
I understand where you're coming from,
so work instead of getting riled up.
And don't even think about confessing.
I have to go.
Come clean about what?
You...
Why are you here this early?
I'm starting my workday here since I have a meeting.
Mr. Lee isn't here yet?
No.
What do you often consider
coming clean about so often?
Kang Hanui, you're a piece of work.
Do you think I'll tell you because you asked?
Ridiculous.
Jinguk, you canceled the move?
But why, all of sudden?
It's a long story.
How can you do this
after getting everyone excited?
Ms. Im.
I'm so sorry about the position I put you in.
I got you excited over nothing.
You don't say.
You shouldn't make promises you can't keep.
Why not? I'm glad the promise coudn't be kept.
I'd much rather you stayed living on the first floor
than for us to move in there.
Frankly, I was very sad when you said you were moving.
We were like family for 20 years.
So I felt empty inside
when you said you were moving.
You did?
Of course.
But you must've been okay about leaving us.
Of course not.
I'm more attached to that house than anyone else.
Jinhui and Ji-eun seemed uncomfortable,
which is why I'd agreed to the move.
You have no idea how happy I am
that things turned out like this.
Truth is, although I feel bad for Ji-eun,
I must say your two families are blessed.
Where can you meet such caring neighbors?
You're closer than most family.
That's right.
When the husband
I had so depended on died,
I was terrified of the world.
Without Mr. Park and Dogyeong on the first floor,
my girls and I would've felt more alone and distraught.
It went both ways.
While Dogyeong was reserved,
Hanui and Sarang were so affectionate to me.
Without them, I would've had no cause to smile.
So they were like daughters to you.
Of course. They're like my daughters.
You should walk Hanui down the aisle when she marries.
M-Me?
Me?
Really?
Hanui Apparel will be on during primetime?
Yes.
Congratulations, Kang Hanui.
This is all thanks to your mother,
President Yun Jinhui.
What do you mean?
Sujeong Boutique had that time slot,
but she gave it to us.
Really?
Yes, I agreed to it. Why?
This is absurd, Aunt Jinhui.
You should take a hard-line approach.
Tell them you're leaving K1
if you can't keep the primetime spot.
What?
I'm not saying you should leave.
That's how hard-line you should be
to keep K1 from taking you for a pushover.
Hwang Ji-eun, do you think I lost the primetime spot
because I was taken for a pushover?
Pardon? It's not that...
How little must you think of me
to say such a thing?
Aunt Jinhui.
President Yun.
You're at your vendor firm, not at home.
Understood?
If we're done here, you should go, Ms. Hwang.
I'm expecting a guest.
Yes?
Welcome, Hanui.
Am I interrupting something important?
No.
I was just about to have coffee.
Just a moment.
Tell Ms. Choi Yura to bring us coffee.
Ms. Choi is on an outside work call, Jinhui,
I mean, President Yun.
Then you could get it, Ms. Yun.
I'll get it if you don't want to.
No, I'll get it.
Thank you.
Did she eat something funny?
What's gotten into her?
I came to say thank you.
What's there to thank me for?
It's all because you've done well.
But I heard it wouldn't have happened
if you hadn't given up your time slot.
There's no giving anything up in business.
Hanui Apparel has the best customer reviews,
and your products sold out every time.
Anyway, congratulations on your entry into primetime.
Thank you.
Here. I'll do it.
It's fine.
Are you nuts?
J-Jinhui...
Good grief.
Why are you just standing there?
Bring her paper towels or something.
I'm fine.
What's keeping you? Go on.
Okay.
- Are you okay? / - I'm fine.
Geez.
I can do it myself.
The burn is worse than expected.
This won't do.
We should go get you an ointment.
I'll go buy it.
Will you?
Yes.
Wait.
You got a lot of coffee on your shoes.
Take these off.
It's okay. I can clean them at home.
Just take them off.
But it's really okay...
Ji-eun, get these cleaned
at a shoe repair shop on your way to the pharmacy.
You want me to get Kang Hanui's shoes cleaned?
Should I go then?
No.
No, you stay here.
I'll go. I will.
No, Mom. I'll do it.
The coffee was scalding, so it could've been worse.
I'm sorry about what happened.
Drop your nice-girl act.
Manager Yun.
Haven't you heard?
I'm no longer the manager.
I'm just a lowly staffer,
so why don't you just call me Yun Seonhui too?
- Manager Yun... / - I'm not the manager.
I'm going to lose it because of you,
so will you please get out of my sight?
Seriously.
Thanks.
What? Do I have to put them on you too?
No.
Ms. Kang, get in.
It's okay. I can sit in the back.
Get in. You hurt your hand.
Come on.
Yes, go ahead.
I'll take the backseat.
Thank you.
Should we go out for dinner?
Would you like to? Then it's my treat.
What does it matter who pays?
Ji-eun, you're coming too, right?
No, she can't.
Ji-eun has a Sujeong Boutique show today.
Why aren't you getting off?
Pardon?
Don't you have to get back to the office?
Yes.
Then why don't we drop her off at work, President Yun?
We'll be late for our reservation.
I already booked us a table.
Here. Take a cab.
Did Aunt Jinhui find out?
No.
If she did, why wouldn't she have said so?
Hanui didn't seem to know anything.
- Ms. Hwang. / - Yes?
What are you thinking about?
Nothing.
What is it?
Sujeong Boutique called.
They resent the inventory figures.
They'd miscalculated the first time, so enter
the new figures into the system.
Okay.
We seem be low on the black ones,
so keep that in mind. Bye then.
Good night.
This product captivating your attention
is Ace Steak, which has sold out on every show
on K1 Home Shopping's Food Channel.
There's a reason why it is so beloved.
I'm home.
Hi.
What are you so engrossed in?
Home shopping.
Hangyeol, how are those food actors chosen?
There's an agency that sends them to us.
An agency?
How do I get my foot in the door?
Do I have to pay?
I don't know. I don't know the details.
Why? Are you interested in doing that?
Couldn't you get me in touch with someone?
I could do that,
but Dad, that's not easy work.
Of course not. There's no such thing as easy work.
Anyway, get me in touch with someone.
I'll ask someone in the food division.
You promise?
Promise you what?
It's nothing.
What about dinner?
I ate.
Mom, here you go.
What's this?
They're cosmetics.
I don't need this.
All the female employees loved and bought them,
so I thought of you and got them.
But if you don't want them, I'll give them to Hanui.
Give them back.
I'd rather toss them than let her have them.
Good grief. She's going to use them
but is being a sourpuss.
If I disapprove of Hanui,
will you get me presents too?
Dad.
Okay, squirt.
We'll call it even, if you get me into an agency.
Thank you for today.
Go on up and unwind.
President Yun,
did Ji-eun do something wrong?
Why?
You didn't seem like yourself around her.
Did it make you uncomfortable?
A bit.
I don't know what it is,
but I wish you'd forgive her.
Ji-eun seems to be very stressed these days.
Did she say something?
No, it's just the feeling I got.
Oh, good timing.
Oh, no. Is there a wake?
I just heard my father's cousin passed away.
Hang on.
Let me go and get changed.
You're coming too?
But of course. It's Jinguk's father's cousin.
You don't have to come.
But that's not right.
Just stay home.
We'll be up all night.
It will be too tiring for you.
Are you sure you don't mind?
Of course not.
But Ji-eun has a show and will be very late.
Will you be okay alone?
Alas, what can we do?
Hanui,
could you sleep down here with Jinhui?
Pardon? Me?
Oh, no.
It'll be uncomfortable for Ms. Kang.
No can do?
I can,
but won't you be uncomfortable, President Yun?
I would be thrilled if you came to stay with me.
I'll do that then.
Thank you so much.
I feel much better now.
We'll get going then.
- Okay. See you. / - Bye.
- Drive safe. / - See you, Mom.
Thank you.
Shower and come down.
I'll get the futons out.
Okay.
With President Yun?
Yes.
But why don't you look happy?
You like President Yun.
But I'm uncomfortable sleeping next to her.
Why would you feel uncomfortable?
Just consider her your mom and sleep.
Yura, what a thing to say in front of our mom.
Our mom is right here.
Right, Mom?
She didn't mean anything by it.
I'm not upset, so go down and turn in.
Okay. See you tomorrow, Mom.
You girls turn in too.
Okay.
- Mom, good night. / - You too.
This is like a dream.
I never thought this day would come.
I never thought I'd get to sleep with you by my side.
Me neither.
Could you just call me "Hanui" from now on?
It'll be more comfortable for me.
Should I start now?
Yes.
How far back do you remember of your childhood?
I think around age seven.
What were you like then, Hanui?
I think I was quite smart.
I'd even memorized the multiplication table.
When I was asked what 6 times 8 was,
I would count from 6 times 6
and say 6 times 8 is 48.
You started doing that at age six, Sujeong.
Mom always had me do multiplications
in front of the neighborhood ladies.
She was proud when I did well.
I would have been proud too.
What else?
Oh. Mom and I colored our nails with garden balsam,
and we also played the rice-barley game.
My Sujeong loved to play that game too.
She did?
Then would you like to play with me?
Really?
You go first, Hanui.
Okay then. Here I go.
Barley. Barley. Rice.
- I'll do it slowly. / - Okay.
Barley. Barley. Rice.
Doesn't it feel awkward since it's been so long?
Rice.
Again, again, again.
Rice.
You went first.
You're cheating.
I'll go again.
How could she make Ji-eun clean Kang Hanui's shoes?
Unbelievable.
Geez. You startled me.
What are you doing here?
Can't you see? I'm drinking.
Exactly. Why are you drinking instead of sleeping?
How can I sleep when I'm not sleepy?
Something's up with you lately, right?
Nothing's up. What are you talking about?
Don't be like that and tell your mom.
What is it? Did you embezzle company funds again?
Geez.
So what is it?
Is Jinhui being mean because of what happened?
Geez. It's not that.
Mom, please just look away.
How can I look away?
You barely eat,
and you can't sleep.
Since when
have you been so concerned about me?
Seonhui.
I don't need anyone.
I don't need you, Jinhui, or Dongseok.
I just need my Ji-eun.
All I need is my Ji-eun,
so no matter what happens,
I'm going to keep Ji-eun safe.
I swear I will.
Good grief. Why will you keep her safe?
Has something happened to her?
Hi.
Why are you here?
President Yun was scared to sleep alone.
Jinguk and Dogyeong went to a wake.
Kang Hanui, are you bent on seeing me go mad?
Ji-eun.
Get out right now.
I'm home now, so get out.
You're home, Ji-eun?
Yes, I'm home.
Ji-eun's back, so I'll go back up.
Everyone's probably asleep.
Just stay here instead of waking them up.
You must be tired too, so turn in.
Come on.
Seonhui's not having breakfast?
She said she wasn't hungry and went to work.
I had the housekeeper make her hangover soup.
Why couldn't she have just a little?
Why? Did Seonhui drink last night?
You sleep in the same bed.
How couldn't you know she drank?
Be more attentive to Seonhui.
Yes, Mother.
But why did she drink?
I don't know either.
She said she only needed Ji-eun and no one else.
She said she'd keep Ji-eun safe,
but I've no idea what she meant.
Did something happen to Ji-eun?
I told you I don't know.
By the way, is there any news from Ji-eun?
News about what?
What else but baby news would I be waiting on from her?
Baby news?
I'm waiting for that myself,
but alas.
I'd like a niece or nephew too.
But maybe Ji-eun can't have babies.
- What? / - Why can't your sister have babies?
She's too skinny.
Can a woman that skinny have babies, Grandma?
Of course.
Stop your nonsense and eat.
Okay.
But Ji-eun is rather skinny, isn't she?
Okay.
You didn't revise the inventory numbers yesterday?
Pardon?
Are you kidding me?
I gave you the revised numbers
after the initial miscalculation.
Didn't you enter them into the system?
I'm sorry.
Why are you so distracted?
So did something go wrong?
We sold 300 more black ones than we have in stock.
What do we do now?
I'll re-order from Sujeong Boutique.
I'll ask for a quick turnaround
and inform the customers there will be a 10-day delay.
That should do it.
There will be complaints,
but I don't think it's a huge problem.
Sujeong Boutique will be happy.
Fine. That's what I'll tell the higher-ups,
so make sure it goes smoothly.
Otherwise, be prepared to submit an apology.
Okay.
I'll email you the customer list.
Could you let them know individually?
Wouldn't it be better to confirm the re-order first?
It might not work out.
Don't worry about that.
I'm going to Sujeong Boutique.
What? Place another order?
Yes. Please have the plant make another
300 black coats from yesterday's show.
As soon as possible.
They can be ready in a week, right?
We posted a notice that they'd ship in 10 days.
Ms. Hwang Ji-eun,
I thought you only thought little of me,
but you must think little of my work too.
What are you talking about?
We can't take the order.
Aunt Jinhui,
I mean, President Yun.
Who are you to tell me to get more coats made?
Do you think I make cheap designs worth a few bucks?
You misunderstand.
Of course I don't think that of your designs.
I'm just desperate. I'm sorry, Aunt Jinhui.
I don't want to hear it.
We can't accept a re-order, so please go.
Jinhui, please help her out just this once.
If she fails to resolve this,
she'll have to submit an apology.
You help her out if you can then.
If this goes awry, it won't do much good
for Sujeong Boutique's reputation either.
Ms. Yun Seonhui, are you blackmailing me?
Blackmailing you?
Jinhui, why are you acting like a complete stranger?
I'm sorry, but I have an outside work meeting.
Whoa, Jinhui. Jinhui... Jinhui...
What do I do, Mom?
I'll be in big trouble if this isn't resolved.
Hang on. Hang on. Let's think.
Okay. The coat's sold at our stores,
so if we collect all of them nationwide,
we should be able to manage.
What? Is this it?
Not even 100?
Yes.
Did you call our Jejudo store too?
Call all the stores yourself if you doubt me.
Geez. I'm in a bind here,
and that's all you can say?
I'm sorry you're in a bind,
but you left me no other choice.
Out. I got it, so get out!
What am I going to do?
You should be thankful if someone helps you.
Shame on you.
Good grief.
What do I do? What do I do?
Mom. Mom, Mom,
was that really the right number?
Probably.
"Probably"?
Didn't you call to check?
Why would I go to the trouble?
I had Yura do it.
She never follows orders.
She volunteered.
But what of it? Is something wrong?
It's just that the number was so low.
I thought there would be around 300 in stock.
Really?
You wanted to see me?
Call all Sujeong Boutique stores nationwide
and buy up 80% of the W235 black coat.
Yes, President Yun.
Hey, what are you thinking about?
Nothing. Nothing at all.
How is Manager Yun?
What do you think?
She's terrified because the stock level is so low.
But did you do a thorough check on the inventory?
Do it yourself if you doubt me.
Is that all you can say?
You left me no other choice.
You should be thankful if someone helps you.
Shame on you.
Did she overhear me?
Really?
Okay. Good job.
Yun Seonhui, this is nothing compared to
what you did to my daughter.
Hello, Director.
Could I see you if you're free today?
Okay. I'll come to you.
Okay.
Hangyeol, did you contact the customers?
I did. That's what you asked me to do.
Why? It didn't work out?
They won't accept a re-order?
No.
How can you be so sloppy?
You asked him to notify the customers
before confirming the re-order?
I'm sorry.
Isn't the president of Sujeong Boutique your aunt?
Yet she still said no?
Yes.
This is bad.
Yes, Director.
Right now?
Okay.
Ms. Hwang, the director wants to see you.
Okay.
Aunt Jinhui.
Go on in.
What did you just say, Director?
Sujeong Boutique is pulling out of K1?
That's right.
They're pulling out because your blunder tarnished
Sujeong Boutique's reputation.
What will you do now?
Aunt Jinhui.
Ji-eun, are you okay?
Let go.
Ji-eun.
This is all your fault.
This is all your fault!
I know of a good way to find Sujeong.
My cousin is a TV producer, and he's planning
a documentary on finding missing children.
Did you get a job?
It's a part-time gig, not a full-time job.
You're pulling Sujeong Boutique out of K1?
Rescind that.
Do what?
Ji-eun is pregnant.
Ji-eun.

Are You Outsourcing Your Life? - Duration: 5:07.
Hun, I think someone's stealing our trashcans.
Oh no, that's just the guy from Curbit.com.
It's an online service that rolls your cans to the curb on garbage day.
Only $14.99 a month!
That seems kinda pricey…
Babe, everyone knows that time is money.
So we're actually saving money by not doing chores ourselves!
That's why I've got Instacart delivering our groceries, Rover walking the dog, Washio
doing our laundry and Taskrabbit cleaning the gutters.
Well, I guess that'll give us more time to write this episode.
No need!
I already hired Writey-O to finish the episode for us!
Wow… that's really… meta.
The convenience economy is nothing new.
Ever since the industrial revolution, first-world families have been willing to cough up hard-earned
dough to spend less time on household chores.
"The confining hours around the washtub are a thing of the past."
Until recently, that meant gadgets and appliances, but the internet has ushered in a new kind
of convenience: "on-demand" services that quickly match clients with freelancers who
will do… just about anything.
The on-demand industry is one of the fastest growing in the world.
Transportation and food delivery are still the biggest sectors, but new services in areas
like home and pet care are popping up all the time.
There's even a service that matches you with goats in your area who will come by and
trim your lawn!
Goats?
Oh, we're totally doing that.
It's an economy driven not just by technology, but changing social demographics.
Not too long ago, it was standard for every household to have one full-time employee who
took care of the vast majority of household chores, and all for free!
(Thanks, Mom.)
But unpaid work is still work, and since more women have entered the workforce, it makes
sense that we're starting to assign dollar values to the tasks that most of us got to
take for granted.
So how do you know whether you can afford to outsource your chores?
When considering one of these on-demand services, the first question you need to ask is whether
this is leverage or luxury.
Leverage is more like an investment.
Let's say that by hiring a lawn service, you save yourself two hours of yardwork, and
you invest that time into your side business screenprinting T-shirts to sell on Etsy.
Like the responsible side-hustler you are, you've already calculated that you make
about $25 profit for every hour you put in, and since the lawn service costs $40… congratulations!
You've successfully leveraged your money to make more money.
In other words, as long as you're able to make MORE per hour than what you're paying
someone else, you're coming out ahead.
But let's say that's not an option for you.
Maybe you work 40 hours a week with no overtime and no side hustle.
Then you're likely outsourcing chores for a different reason, to free up personal time
to do stuff you actually like.
That puts this service into the luxury category.
Luxuries are not necessarily bad things--but they are harder to judge economically, because
you can't really put a dollar value on "me" time.
But one thing's for sure: no luxury is worth going into debt over.
So that's why you've got to "mind the gap!".
If any outsourcing service pushes your monthly expenses above your monthly income, you'll
either have to forego it, or find somewhere else to cut back.
That means you'll need a clear idea of how much these services actually cost, and some
of them aren't very transparent.
Grocery delivery services like Instacart are clear about their delivery fees, but they
also charge hidden markups on many items that are constantly fluctuating.
There's no way to know how much extra you're paying without going down to the store to
price check, but that kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
One instacart user actually did the math and posted his results on reddit: turns out he
paid an average 42.8% markup, including some items that cost well more than double their
in-store price.
When you factor in the service and delivery fees, he spent almost $70 to not have to go
to the supermarket.
That might be on the high end of the spectrum, but the point is: the easier these services
are to use, the less likely we are to keep track of the costs.
When you pay a cab driver in cash, you're very aware of the value of that ride.
But with Uber, you just get out of the car and walk away.
Depending on how you approach it, the on-demand economy can be a solid investment, a path
to more freedom, or, if you're not careful, a financial ball and chain that could drag
you deeper into debt.
We often recommend that saving for retirement should take priority over present comfort,
because there will come a day when you really won't be able to mow your own lawn or shop
for your own groceries, and you'll want to be able to afford those services then.
And that's our two cents!

GTM Quick Tip: Test Your Matches CSS Selectors beforehand - Duration: 6:14.
Hey there and welcome back to another video of measureschool.com teaching you the data-driven
way of digital marketing.
My name is Julian, and I'm back with another quick tip video for Google Tag Manager.
This time, we want to talk about how you can test your CSS selector quickly before you
deploy your tracking.
Now, you might be aware of the very powerful matches CSS selector option that lets you
target certain elements that were clicked on.
So for example, it works very well with the click trigger together if you wanted to, for
example, track all of the buttons or the link clicks that happened on the menu point here.
Be aware that the CSS selector option only works if you really have an HTML element.
So for example, if I click here, and I look into my GTM link click under the variables,
you need to utilize the click element that is then displaying an HTML object.
So if you look into the data layer, we have here our GTA element with our object.
Now to utilize the CSS selector option, you will need to know a little bit of CSS.
And then you can look into the elements pane of the developer tools and figure out the
CSS selector.
I find this pretty laborious because it puts me into a loop of writing a little bit of
the selector, for example, okay, I have here an ahref element, I could put it in here,
save this, go back, see if my tag fires if I click on the element and repeat if it doesn't
work as intended.
Again, pretty laborious to go back and forth between the preview debug mode and your changes.
So a quick little tip that I have for you today is to actually try this out inside of
the developer tools.
All you need for this is, first of all, you would have the need to click on the element
that you want to track, for example, this album button.
And then you open up your developer tools.
In the console, you put in a command that will actually access the internal data model
of Google Tag Manager, and this command is Google_TagManager.
And then in square brackets, you put your GTM ID.
Now you get your GTM ID from the container that you have deployed.
So that would be this ID here.
And you put that into your quotation marks, then you write a dot, and we want to access
the data layer.
We want to get a special key, which in our case, would be the GTM element.
If we press enter, we get exactly the element that is also displayed here in the data layer.
And this is the element that Google Tag Manager would try to use the CSS selector option.
A great thing about this is that we can now test against this element directly in the
developer tools by simply write matches, and then parentheses, and we can put in quotation
marks our CSS selector option that we want to test against.
When you press enter here, return as an error.
Well, this is because I didn't type anything in a true or false.
So we have here and link element a, and it would match that up.
Unfortunately, if I click on any other element here would obviously or an element down here,
it would also match this up.
Because these are all links.
Now, we want to utilize the CSS selector option.
So we want to look into the elements pane and see how our links actually marked up.
So let's go and inspect here and inspect our element.
And we can see these are all part of the primary navigation div element.
Down here we have a little bit of a mock-up of how a CSS selector could look like.
Now, you need to know a little bit of CSS in order to try this actually out.
I'm going to press the Escape key, this will open up the console and the elements pane
in the same window.
And here, we can try out our CSS selector.
So in our case, it would be primary navigation.
We could put that in,
see if that works.
No, it's false.
So this would not match up as our CSS selector.
I've done some basic mistakes.
The primary navigation is actually a class.
So I need to put in a dot here, but still, and here we go, we see that our CSS selector
option now turns true.
Now if I click on any of these other elements, this will push a new GTM element in the data
layer.
And we can test it right away by just clicking the up arrow here and pressing Enter again,
and see if it turns true again.
So for this element that I just clicked, or if I click on this element, it would turn
true.
Now if I click on any other element on the page itself.
This is not part of the primary navigation and therefore it's false.
So it's safe to assume that this CSS selector would suffice to track all the menu clicks
on our page.
So we can copy this and go over to Google Tag Manager then do our final test.
This will be our menu click and we'll put in the some links.
We filter down on the click element where the matches CSS selector option is the primary
navigation and eight.
Let's saved this and refresh.
Refresh our page here.
And its second one, and we see our event click fires, our tag files on these events.
And if I click on any other link on our page, it should not fire.
Although was a link like because our CSS selector didn't turn true.
So simply use this line of code to quickly go through and test out your CSS selectors
beforehand.
Hey, there it's me again.

Dead Wrong® with Johan Norberg - No Relief from Debt Relief - Duration: 1:29.
Thank you, Bono, thank you, Bob Geldof,
thank you, IMF, World Bank- and religious
societies all over the world.
Thanks to you, heavily indebted poor
countries got debt relief in 2005.
So now their debts are sustainable and
the future is bright.
Ah...I hate to say this, but it's dead wrong.
Yes, we all cheered when the debts were
wiped clean in 2005, because we saw a bright future.
But what do you think corrupt governments
in those countries saw?
They saw that they could borrow, spend and
get away with it, so they concluded:
It's a pleasure doing business with you!
Yes, the IMF and the World Bank told them
you shouldn't run up debts again.
But economic incentives speak louder than
words, so soon spending started to drift
upwards again, and they began to run up
new dollar-denominated debt.
One fifth of low-income countries now have
debts above 60 percent of GDP, compared
with almost none in 2012.
Several of them now have debt levels close
to where they were when they got debt
relief in the first place.
Almost half of all low-income countries
are now in a debt crisis or highly vulnerable to one.
So it seems that debt relief was just a
transitional phase between unsustainable
debts - and unsustainable debts.

Listen to me, Keerthi. - I can't.
It's over. Don't reiterate.
(Couple quarreling)
Uncle, I need to visit my dad.
My dad is here.
My mom always screams like this.
My dad is a very sweet person.
Hey, let's go. - Leave me with dad.
What's your name? - Sathya!
What's your name, miss?
I'm talking to you. What's your name?
Amudha... Amudha Ranganathan.
We have e-mailed your call later.
Sign it, please.
(Friends chatting)
Do you remember me?
You...
You seem familiar. - Twelfth grade.
You gave me a letter and ran away fearing your friends would mock.
You don't even know what was my reply to it, isn't it?
Amudha?
What a surprise? what are you doing here?
I've moved to Chennai. And joined in your office.
KOPC?
It was 7 years ago, right?
Good.
Okay.
Let's see. - When?
When? Hey Amudha!
Our relation isn't what you think. Don't stretch your imagination.
Will call you later. Hang the call.
I need to talk something important.
Regarding what? - Not a great deal.
Would you like to eat something? Shall I order?
Will you marry me?
I asked shall we get married?
What do you say?
Tell me.
Hold on for a minute. Madam, please take care.
Is it audible now?
Tell me, Sathya.
You will be surprised by culinary skills today.
Whom do you like the most? Mom or dad?
Leave that aside. - Tell me.
Taste it.
Careful. - I spilled it.
Good. Nice, isn't it?
Answer. Whom do you like the most? Mom or dad?
It's obvious. I like my mom.
So my child will like me the most.
Really?
When? - Morning.
I love you, dear.
You didn't even mention it?
My cutie pie.
You didn't tell me.
No. I just wanted to share it now.
Sathya? - Yes., speaking.
Dude, it's me Chandru.
I'm calling from Deepam hospital. Where are you?
Just listen to me. Don't panic.
You please come to the hospital. We are facing a situation.
Who is it?
Okay. - Riya has attempted a suicide.
Please start soon.
I'm... - What happened?
Please start soon... - Okay.
Okay. - What happened?
I'll explain, when I'm back.
What happened? Why are you moody?
Where had he been that has made him moody?
I'm asking you. Why are you moody?
Tell me.
Riya!
Riya!
What's this?
Why did you act so stupid?
What happened?
Sathya.
I didn't realise when you were nearby.
When you moved away I missed you.
Even now...
I wasn't even sure of survival.
As soon as I saw you, I've started talking.
That explains my love for you.
I didn't feel it for these many years, when you were nearby.
But now I feel very lonely.
My mind is filled with wierd thoughts.
Riya, stay quiet. You got to relax.
Don't strain much.
I'll be a good friend to you till the end.
I'm content with just your presence.
I have never seen so distressed.
Was so painful to see her.
Have this water.
Things will fall in place. Have this water.
We are here for her help.
You go and get refreshed.
Go.
Slow it down.
Let me make a call.
Riya, you took the medicine?
Please take the medicine.
Rest properly. Take care of your health.
Okay.
I'll visit you tomorrow.
Want water?
You do remember, I've an appointment at 7? You'll pick me up, won't you?
What's this Ammu? I did mention it earlier.
Riya is getting discharged today.
It's a normal check up, isn't it? So take care of yourself.
Fine? - Okay.
Sathya?
He said he's going to hospital.
Didn't he mention it to you?
Now its... - Not a problem. I'll talk to the doctor.
Tomorrow at 4.
Shall we leave?
Wait. I need to talk with you. Have a seat.
Sit.
Tell me.
For everything.
As this care prolongs...
My love for you keeps growing.
So I think we must keep a distance.
We shall cut off the communication and meetings for sometime.
Then I will call you.
We shall remain good friends as ever.
I landed you in troubled waters.
Lead a happy life.
Spend more time with your wife.
Definitely.
Convey my greetings to Amudha.
Go.
Go.
Go...
Go man.
I'll not indulge in any risk.
Don't worry. Leave.
You must be tired. Have it.
What happened to your phone?
The phone... - You switched it off to avoid disturbance?
Amudha!
What do you mean?
I meant nothing, Sathya.
Whatever it is, cut it to the point.
Okay. I'll.
Do you know what've you been doing these last 10 days, Sathya?
Did you care a least about me?
Did you ask of my itinerary, my health and medical visits?
How can you? You've someone new to care of.
Riya.
You are wrong, Amudha? -I'm wrong? - Yes.
Let it be. You will realise only if you respect my feelings to the least.
Please listen to me.
I'm a broadminded girl, Sathya.
I do know where this so called care will end up?
Even I thought that you are a broadminded girl.
But your words now...
Look at whom you are supporting even now?
Idiot.
You like her.
Yes. I like her.
What's next?
Amudha!
Look at where we have ended up? In such a place?
I do know that you are not in a position to open your ears.
Think.
Who started the issue that day?
Even now, you are not sure of the source of the issue?
Right.
I'm to be blamed for forbidding my parents for your sake.
If they are so vital, you could have stayed with them?
Why did you come to me?
I didn't really mean.
Let's deal it legally.
Listen to me, Amudha.
Amudha!
Who is Amudha?
You are being summoned.
Please sit.
It's just been just a year since you got married.
It's quite nascent.
We take quite a time to begin a life.
But we are hasty to end it up.
Don't think that I'm advising you.
I tell this to everyone who comes here.
Once you sign it and leave.
You think that you are independent.
But, you will find the need for a companion.
You gave a thought about the future of your unborn child?
At least about your future?
I'm a woman as you.
I have a daughter of your age.
Hence I shared it.
We are done with the formalities.
The rest is...
Go. Go talk to her.
Amudha.
I don't know what's my mistake.
Even I had committed one...
Please forgive me.
I have to say just this one thing.
I'm in love with you. You alone.
I will love you as well.
I don't know what to say.
It's my mistake.
I misunderstood you.
