Pres. promise to make new year, where all peoples' lives improve evenly with no inequality - Duration: 2:23.

President Moon Jae-in delivered his New Year's address today,... where he pressed hard on

ultimately bettering the country's economy.

He also mentioned the situation with North Korea, pledging that he will continue with

the denuclearization and peace process laid out over the last year.

Our Blue House correspondent Shin Se-min reports.

President Moon Jae-in's proposal for the brand new year of 2019... is to build a nation in

which everyone can prosper together.

In his New Year's speech, President Moon urged the creation of a new economic model for South

Korea,... saying the country's economy right now faces the challenge of persistently slow

growth.

His plan for the coming 12 months... is to improve the lives of the people across the

board.

"In 2019, I will do my utmost to help the people of Korea see the results of our policies

in their lives.

I will work to make this the first year in which people's lives improve evenly, and in

which we overcome inequality."

The president said he will call for interested parties to make compromises and concessions...

so that economic growth can be felt by everyone -- something he said will require patience.

On the issue of job creation,... the president also promised to build 30-thousand smart factories

and to create a regulatory sandbox for new businesses in the IT and communication sectors.

On his drive for ultimate peace,... the president promised to do even more... and to cement

the gains already made.

"The peace we enjoy now is still temporary.

In the new year, the government will do its best to turn this stream of peace into a big,

irreversible wave."

He said through the ultimate denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,... the country can

open up an era of peace and prosperity.

Connecting that with the economy,...

President Moon said,... will link countries to the north and the south of the nation in

a peaceful and prosperous community -- that includes Russia, Europe and Southeast Asia.

M1 Finance - Stocks News, First Deposit Roth IRA 2019 - Are YOU Ready? - Duration: 10:49.

hello everyone and thanks for tuning into the financial investor channel my

name is Brent and today we're gonna be doing our quick first video of the year

2019 we're gonna be kicking it off looking at year-to-date from 2018 as far

as what stocks here within the SP 500 that positive did negative then we're

gonna take a look at stock futures and go into m1 finance making our first

deposit towards 2019 Roth IRA so if you are brand new to the channel hit that

let's go ahead and get into it so just taking a look here at the S&P 500 as a

whole year today this is for 2018 we can see that we had a few stocks within most

of the sectors out there you know being 50/50 with them you know positive here

with an Amazon but also Walmart what was this DL TR dollar tree down

fifteen point eight three percent and a few others there now some of the sectors

that did not come out of it very good or financials so all the financials there

were basically slaughter JPMorgan doing one of the better ones whereas you can

see here that Wells Fargo and Citibank were down over 24 percent there so harsh

and the financials also oil sold off hard after August losing you know what

leave it when they went down from up positive 25% to going down over 25% so

very big slides here within the oil and gas group now industrial goods their

triple M han also down Honeywell General Electric losing over 56% they're down

yeah fifty six point sixty percent that is a huge loss I know a lot of investors

are recommending GE it's very beginning a dear

so hopefully investors were able to jump out of that before they were losing too

much t row there that was one I just covered here in my January stocks to buy

both at I'm taking a look at by not that I recommend other investors by Pepsi was

down seven point eight seven whereas coca-cola was up three point two percent

so this is the quick S&P 500 there now in the very last day of the year

we very we ended in a very positive note I

believe the last four days of 2018 from after Christmas we had a very high note

so day after day after day after Christmas we were positive today the

Wednesday directly after Christmas we had jumped up within the stock market

over 5% so as of that date I don't believe we had any red day since then so

Wednesday here in the 2nd of January I'm already looking at stock futures

currently everything is down a little here SP 500 futures are looking down 0.9

Nasdaq down 0.99 Dow down Dow Jones down point 8 - so I was also kind of taking a

look here I'm also looking at the Hong Kong markets Japan markets Hong Kong is

currently open we can see that this is trending down negative two point seven

nine percent so this is kind of a little indicator I like to look at other

international world markets here so we can see that the Hong Kong market we can

actually jump back over here and take a look at the world and we can see here at

China as down jadi here in the day is being pretty negative

here over in China so what I am thinking is that Wednesday we're gonna have a

negative day here within the market we've had a lot of positive day so this

is completely fine have some breathing room and this is one of the reasons I am

taking a look at to add to my position to start my first deposit on Wednesday

because it is going to be a red day give me some of the good buying opportunities

that I haven't had in the last few trading days now

taking a look here investors are still cautiously optimistic about 2019 but

here's what could go wrong now this article covers that borrowing costs

could hurt so interest rates are starting to get you know they're

increasing every couple months the Fed is continuously increasing rates that

did cut back their rate increase from three to two here in 2019 we shall see

how that all plays out but here we had several hikes during 2018 we had for

hikes there starting the year at a rate of 4.5% and ending it at a rate of 5.5%

so we went over a 1% change there just within the year President Trump getting

in Peach is also another factor that investors are looking towards this good

cause so you know uncertainty does not play well in the market also the trade

war there's a lot going on there with the

war between the United States and China we have the global growth you know it's

been climbing as of 2014 2015 we have been on a straight tear going up into

the highs of it see they had their highs right up back here

so we peaked out here in 2018 on September 20th at 2930 and 75 this is

here within the S&P 500 so as at that point we have dropped more than 18% I

believe were somewhere in that you know within the last three months we've lost

a little over 15 18 percent from the high so we are still kind of training

there now global glow has I said as interest rates start to rise it's very

hard for small mid-cap large cap stocks to use debt in order to build their

companies faster so all that debt on their balance sheets that begins to get

heavier away against them and they can't borrow more debt to build themselves so

they have to take a step back hopefully consolidate themselves a little bit and

we may end up trade in sideways for a while

we may end up falling back as earnings per share revenue don't meet

expectations that could cause these Sox here to continue to fall into 2019

technology stocks have unique challenges you know Netflix Amazon Microsoft Apple

Google Facebook you know whereas a few of these here Facebook is trading below

the S&P 500 one of the main Feng Sox here training below the S&P 500 whereas

Netflix they're at the top here percent change from September 20th to 31st we

can see sp500 seems pretty positive in comparison to all the things stock so

these high-end fliers are kind of keeping the S&P 500 high for the

majority of 2018 all weekend the deflate right around that same point we had

talked about it in our earlier videos where the majority of the stock market

was already in bear territory from March 2018 and tell about August and you know

60% of the stocks already treating 20% down for the year

all it took was those Fang stocks the kind of deflate and that kind of dragged

the S&P 500 back down to that normalized state now that is you know what the

article here kind of covered I will have this link here in the description below

I think a good read for all investors covers a

lot of what is currently making the markets and the future here in 2018

you know uncertain which the stock market does not like so what we're going

to be doing is we're gonna go ahead and start our first deposit into 2019 here

on Wednesday the second January 2019 so all we're going to be doing here heading

over to our funding tab now here within the funding I don't have any sort of

deposits kind of set up we can see here that our IRA contributions for 2017 2018

are currently max and now we have this option here if we have zero dollars of

$6,000 towards our Roth IRA for 2019 so what we're going to be doing here is

there's 52 weeks here in 2019 so I'm gonna take my $6,000 divided by 52 I'm

gonna make a one-time deposit of a hundred and fifteen dollars and 38 cents

and this is just gonna go directly in and here we have the option of

depositing towards 2018 or 2019 now I've already contributed max out for

2018 so I'm gonna go ahead and continue select selecting 2019 I'm not gonna set

a schedule right now I'm gonna make a one-time deposit here on Wednesday I'm

gonna go ahead and hit continue and then it's just gonna ask us okay I want to go

ahead and transfer for my USA account on the next trading window which is our

Wednesday and then I'm gonna go ahead and confirm so now on Wednesday I have a

hundred and fifteen dollars and 38 cents being deposited here when the stock

market is expected to go into negative on Wednesday so I'm gonna be able to buy

something here at a discount it may continue to fall here on Thursday Friday

you know and then end the week there now from that point I have always wanted and

enjoyed setting my weekly deposits here on Monday so we're going to go ahead and

redo this here same amount we're gonna go ahead and set a schedule this time

this is gonna repeat weekly I do enjoy depositing every single week on Mondays

for a hundred and fifteen dollars and 38 cents so here that is our whole schedule

we're gonna go ahead and confirm there now from from this point on

we're gonna go ahead and dismiss that go back to our funding let's see if this

actually went through here so let's go back into our funding and there we go so

everything is fixed I may have just glitched out here so we have a one-time

deposit going in this is going to go in tomorrow and then we have our

automatically we are mato mattock weekly deposits that are going to be started

here on the 7th of January which is next Monday we're going to be adding a

hundred and fifteen dollars and 38 cents going every week forward so as of these

two deposits we're gonna have 50 additional weeks in 2019 and that is

that so that is all I really wanted to cover in today's video if you guys have

President Trump tweets he is also looking forward to meeting North Korean leader, while.. - Duration: 2:30.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un gave his highly anticipated New Year's speech yesterday, in

which many were hoping for a sign that there might be a breakthrough in North Korea's negotiations

with the U.S.

The State Department decided not to comment on the speech, but President Trump said he

hopes to meet with Kim Jong-un. Lee Ji-won has more.

In response to Kim Jong-un's New Year's speech, U.S. President Donald Trump said he too looks

forward to meeting with his North Korean counterpart.

President Trump on Tuesday evening, tweeted the comment together with part of a news report

that says Kim Jong-un is ready to meet President Trump anytime.

He referred to Kim as someone who realizes that North Korea possesses great economic

potential.

Trump's tweet also included the part of the report where it said the regime will not make

or test nuclear weapons or give them to others.

This follows the North Korean leader's New Year's speech early on Tuesday, where he said

he is firmly determined to denuclearize.

But Kim also said, should the U.S. not keep its promise to the world, and only urge the

North to take measures, Pyeongyang will have no choice but to find "other ways" to settle

peace on the Korean Peninsula.

And in making a peaceful and prosperous peninsula, Kim said efforts for multi-party talks should

be made to change the current armistice agreement to a declaration to end the Korean War,...

and have South Korea cease all military drills with "other foreign sources."

Kim's New Year's speech was long awaited by many around the world as it was hoped to provide

a breakthrough in the current months-long deadlock in the denuclearization talks.

But the U.S. seemed to be careful on its evaluation of the speech.

A U.S. State Department spokesperson,.. speaking to Seoul-based Yonhap News Agency on the condition

of anonymity on Tuesday said the U.S. declines the "opportunity to comment".

While such a response is uncommon, some watchers say that the temporary shutdown of the U.S.

federal government may have been a reason for it.

Meanwhile, major U.S. media outlets reported on how the deadlock still continues.

The New York Times said that the nuclear negotiations are back at square one, as the North's demands

are not that different from before the summit.

And the Washington Post cited a senior analyst who said that the U.S. should move decisively

in the new year to find out how far Kim is willing to go towards a verified cap on his

arsenal.

for the new year.

They'll be dealing with challenges like slowing growth and rising trade protectionism.

The buzzwords for Korea's top five conglomerates to kick-off the new year are innovation, strengthening

competitiveness and future readiness... as they face a variety of uncertainties.

At 'Digital City,' Samsung Electronics headquarters in Suwon, Co-Vice Chairman and CEO Kim Ki-nam

celebrated the company's 50th anniversary since its founding.

He laid out Samsung's vision to become one of the most advanced IT companies that lasts

a century.

He said the company must overcome obstacles by creating a corporate culture of learning

from past failures and encouraging challenges... calling it crucial to the development of the

next-generation of goods and innovative technology as well as nurturing new industries.

In his new year's speech, Chung Eui-sun, Executive Vice Chairman of Korea's largest automaker

Hyundai Motor Group, called for changes and innovation in how the automaker thinks and

operate... saying they're the game changers in the global market.

Chung said the group plans to launch 13 new models in the key U.S. and Chinese markets...

and strengthen operations in emerging markets like India and Southeast Asia.

Together with its affiliate Kia Motors, they're aiming to develop 44 hybrid, all-electric

and hydrogen fuel cell electric models by 2025... and want to sell one-point-6-7-million

units of the models each year... as part of its "clean mobility" strategy.

The CEO of Korea's second largest chipmaker, SK Hynix, Lee Seok-hee emphasized turning

risks into opportunities amid falling global DRAM prices and fears of an end to the semiconductor

boom.

Through innovation, Lee laid out plans to bring the company's market value to almost

90 billion U.S. dollars in three years.

LG Group Chairman Koo Gwang-mo emphasized "consumers"... saying providing goods and

services that change consumers' lifestyles and to do that faster than anyone else...

are the standards LG should pursue.

Daytrip to Ocean Park HK | Excursions - Duration: 16:50.

Wuhoi Everyone!

We went to Ocean Park.

As an early celebration for Gizela's Birthday, me and my friends travel a short ferry ride

from Macau to neighboring Hong Kong.

Our goal is to ride as many rides as we can before our stomachs churn and finally give out.

We also want to relax and enjoy.

So here goes our excursion.

As Daniel left an hour earlier, the rest of us decide to go back down from the summit

and to the waterfront below.

What a better way to end this day than by taking the scenic route via cable car.

As 3 people who work everyday operating and maintaining cable cars back home, we still

did enjoy this ride.

In total, we experienced 15 attractions inside the park including the extreme rollercoasters,

the aquariums, the fun games, and even the long, boring escalators.

It was a fun day and I really enjoyed this excursion.

Favourite Books of 2018 - Duration: 18:03.

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel! Today I am here to talk to you about my

favourite books of 2018. I didn't really have too much of a criteria for this

list. I basically chose some of the books that I gave 5 stars to and some of

the books that I gave 4 stars too. I also tried to focus on the ones that I

really enjoyed and the stories that I felt most connected to and kind of stuck

with me after reading them. Rather than just choosing the ones that I gave

5 stars to because I think that although giving a book 5 stars obviously means I

really did enjoy it but I think there's a big difference between enjoying

something when you're reading it and still enjoying that book months after

you've read it if that makes sense. Like I think there's a big difference between

the two. So yeah these are books that I really really enjoyed and are definitely

my favorite books ever that I managed to read in 2018. So the first book that I

want to talk about is Heartstopper by Alice Oseman and this is a graphic

novel and it's Volume one. Alice did a Kickstarter for this book so...

what this books about is about two characters from her very first novel

Solitaire, they're not really main characters in the story but they do play

a part in the story and basically she really loved these characters a lot

and she decided to write a graphic novel based around these two characters

and she started a Kickstarter back in I think maybe August it might have been or

something like that. And it was really successful and it's

now going to be published next year in I think either February or March I can't

remember. So definitely get a copy if you haven't already got yourself a copy in

the Kickstarter. But this is absolutely one of my favourite books of this year

it's just a really cute heartwarming read and the artwork is

just so incredible in this. When I first got it...I don't know if you can see...I

wasn't sure about it because it was in greyscale and I don't really like

graphic novels in greyscale very much. I quite like a little bit of color and

yeah was a little bit disappointed when I saw that

it was in greyscale but it just suits her art style so much I mean look how

adorable they look I don't know whether you can see that but they look so

adorable it's just so cute. So yeah I really absolutely loved this graphic

novel and I can't wait to pick up volume 2 when it comes out in July next year.

Yeah I'm very excited about that.

So the second book that I want to talk

about is Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson and this is actually the third

book in the Mistborn series and I could quite easily have chosen the other two

in this trilogy but I chose this one just because it's the final one and it's

where everything sort of comes together and makes finally makes sense but really

everything that I have to say about this book kind of refers to all three books.

So firstly I just love Brandon Sanderson's world-building it's just

incredible and there's so much attention to like the detail of...of the world and

how the magic system works and it's quite a complicated magic system on...

it works on metals and it's just really interesting because it didn't work how I

initially thought it was going to work and although in the beginning it made

a lot of the fight sequences quite complicated to understand but when

you got in it, it was just so good and he's so good at writing fight scenes as

well and including all the sort of magical elements to it as well and yeah

his writing and his characterisation you just feel so connected to all of the

characters and you kind of know...like learn their background over time rather

than having it all at once given to you and I find that really interesting and

it sort of adds to the story because it's most appropriate when you do find

out some of their backstory and yeah I just really loved it a lot. It was also

my first time reading a high fantasy book. I'd always been quite scared to

read high fantasy because a lot of the fantasy I've read has been YA and I've

read a little bit of adult fantasy but it's more where it just dips slightly

into the fantasy and not...isn't quite fully in it.

So yeah this was my like my first experience of it and I really loved it

and I really want to pick up more by Brandon Sanderson because of it.

The other thing that I really enjoyed about this series was that I buddy read

the whole entire series with my friend Steve over at the lawn gnome and it was

just a really lovely experience to read these books with someone. Especially as

they're so long it was quite motivating because you could discuss what you were

reading even if you were reading it slowly, with somebody and I really

enjoyed that so I definitely want to read...do more buddy reads with people

because I did really enjoy it. The next book on this list will come as no

surprise to anybody if you've been watching my channel for a while because

I absolutely raved about this book since reading it and that is The Glass Castle

by Jeannette Walls and oh my gosh this book. This book is a memoir which I don't

usually enjoy memoirs really that much but this memoir is told more like a

story which was the first thing that really connected me to the writing and

the book itself. Even though everything in this book is true there

are moments that you're kind of like how can this be true. how? how? and because you're

just almost in disbelief that this actually happened but it's just

incredible it's a really heartwarming and heartbreaking story and I...I just it

blew me away when I read it. It made me laugh it made me cry basically Jeannette

Walls...this is about her childhood and about her alcoholic father and her

sort of artistic mother and both of them were very neglectful of their four

children including Jeanette and it's kind of how they lived with that and how

you know they still love each other, like there's still so much love for each

other regardless of how they were retreated and how they got to where they

are. It's really complicated without spoiling obviously moments in this book

but I just really loved this book and it just made me go through all the emotions

and yeah I would definitely recommend to anyone if you are into sort of

reading true life stories and also if you're very into kind of like books that

almost break your heart a little bit. I don't know if that's a thing but I

quite like books that make me quite emotional. I feel like I really connect

with them in that sense.

The next book I actually listen to on audible and that

was A Man Called Ove and this actually was a big surprise...I obviously

I'd heard great things about Frederick Backman's writing and I really wanted to

try something by him and I picked this book on a whim a couple of years ago

because it was on sale on audible and it was cheaper and yeah I was just blown

away by this story because it took me by surprise. It's basically about a

grumpy old man and how he kind of doesn't want to be a part of everyday

society after losing his wife and it's kind of how his new next-door neighbors

move in and kind of bring him out of his shell and back into you know the real

world and basically throughout this whole story he's trying to commit

suicide and and yeah it's just a really again a heartbreaking but also

heartwarming story it's also really funny as well which just adds to the

whole kind of tone of the book. It kind of it makes it a bit more of a

light-hearted read than a really deep and dark one. Again the next book is not

going to come as a surprise to anyone and that is The Song Rising by Samantha

Shannon, this is the third book in The Bone Season series by Samantha Shannon

and again I've raved about this series a lot. It's basically a dystopian /

supernatural kind of world and just her writing and her world building it's just

incredible like when you read this book you can just imagine so many of the

different places that she mentions obviously there's a lot around London

but there's also other parts of the UK that she also goes into very...a lot of

detail of and to places I've never been to either and I could easily imagine

them in my mind and in this like new dystopian society as well

which i think is just amazing to be able to do that and then obviously the

characters themselves are just so in-depth and so well thought out and the

whole supernatural kind of weaves in like naturally if that makes sense like

it doesn't seem like out of place in the in the book and it's just I don't know

it's just her writing is incredible and I just love where this story is going

and I'm really excited to pick up the next book in this series when it comes

out in like I think it's 2020 so there's a long wait but I'm very excited about it.

So the next book is another book that was a real surprise to me and that was

Hex by Thomas Olde Heuvault I think that's how you pronounce his name and

yeah this was a real surprise because I what I picked it up in a bookshop in

Cardiff I think when I went on a like booktube meetup thing and I just picked

up on a whim because I liked the blurb and I wasn't really sure whether I was

going to enjoy it but I absolutely did. His writing is very similar to that of

Stephen King so if you love anything by Stephen King particularly his horror

stuff then you will probably enjoy this book Basically this is set in a town

that has basically an old 17th century witch in it and they all think they're

cursed and basically the teenagers of the town

decide they're gonna get rid of this curse or slash this witch and all these

things start happening and it's just incredible because it's more it just

really discusses the idea of prejudice and how we we are basically sheep we

just followed the crowd aren't going to stick up for what we really believe in

we're just gonna let things happen even if we don't morally believe in them and

it's about what human kind could do to each other if they thought it was worth

it. I'm trying not just for this book because it's a big spoiler otherwise but

yeah I just really loved this book and I thought it was really creepy in all the

right ways and yeah I flew through this book and I really enjoyed it. We then

have The Gloaming by Kirsty Logan of course a Kirsty Logan book had to

be on this list because I've pretty much loved everything that I've read by her

and particularly The Gracekeepers which was her last novel and this is

kind of set in the same sort of world. It's kind of like a prequel to The Gracekeepers

but also kind of not and yeah I just love how she manages to weave in

sort of fairy tales and sort of mermaids into a plot without making it

stereotypical or like cliche and I just really love her writing, her writing is

very sort of... I don't want to say poetic because that's not kind of what it

sounds like but it's very beautiful writing it's very lyrical and really

fits their kind of tone of this book. The next book I have is Ask The Passengers

by A S King and this is basically about Astrid who is kind of questioning her

sexuality but she doesn't feel like she really wants to put a label on it but

society is trying to basically make her put a label on it and she feels really

kind of lost in her sort of life and she decides to send messages to people

...strangers that she's never met on the planes that are flying above her so

basically she has this habit of going out into the garden and lying on the

bench and just watching the sky it's kind of a way to sort of get away from

everything that's happening and then she sends these, these messages to the people

always on the people on the plane and basically it's kind of got a little bit

of magical realism and the respect that there's chapters in here from the

passengers on the plane and they've got their own sort of life going on and it's

just a small chapter on...on their kind of story and where they are when they're

getting on that plane and then at the very end it kind of links it back to

Astrid and her sending love to them on the plane so it sounds very weird and

kind of like it wouldn't work but it really does and I just really loved this

book because it kind of brought out so many important messages and I really

loved the character of Astrid. I thought she was very um reflective and

intelligent in this book so yeah I really enjoyed a sort of unique

perspective on the sort of coming out sort of typical coming out stories. We

then have a book by one of my absolute favourite authors so it really it's no

surprise that this book has made this list and that is The Prisoner of Heaven

by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, this is the third book in the cemetery of Forgotten books

series and although I say that lightly because I don't think you need to read

the books in order if you don't want to because they all do make sense as they

are. However it does make more sense if you like you get a bit more out of the

book if you have read all of the books in order. Especially with this book

because this book kind of connects both the Shadow of the Wind the first book and

The Angel's Game which is the second book they're both entirely different stories

with different people but this book kind of connects the two I don't want to

spoil it but they make a little bit more sense with this book and yeah I just

absolutely loved this book partly because it goes into the backstory of one of my

favorite characters which is Fermin. I think that's how you say his name and it

kind of details his backstory and how he got to where he is and it's just it's

just a really beautifully written book and that is really hard to come by with

translated books I find because this is basically translated by Lucia Graves

who does such a good job of translating Carlos's work. Two of my favourite

things about his writing is how much detail he goes into in sort of history

and political history and also into sort of the descriptions of the places and

the people because you just feel like you're when you pick it up this book and

start reading that you just kind of walk into this world. This kind of Gothic

world and it's just...it's just magical and it kind of feels like it's got

magical realism in it even though it hasn't and I don't I mean that I'm

trying to not spoil it by saying that so yeah I just really love his work love

his writing and I can't wait to pick up the fourth book in this series now. So

the next book is Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas which I've literally just

finished reading and I absolutely loved this book.

This is the sixth book or kind of sixth book in the Throne of Glass series which

if you've been following my channel for a while you all know that I absolutely

love and it was really nice this book because one of my favourite characters in

this series all very early on in the series was Chaol or Chaol...I'm still not sure

how you say his name and obviously in the last kind of a couple of books he

hasn't played a huge part in them and so it was really nice to get this story

from his perspective and find out what he was doing in this world and yeah I

just really loved Sarah J Maas' kind of attention to sort of his disability

and how it all fits into the main plot and it's just made me so excited to get

hold of Kingdom of Ash the final book so I'm definitely going to be doing that in

the new year. And the last book on this list is Monsters by Emerald Fennel or

Finnell I'm not sure and and this book completely took me by surprise because

when I first started reading it I thought I'm not sure I'm gonna enjoy

this sort of dark black comedy sort of tone this book has but since finishing

the book I've just like that I haven't been able to get this story out of my

head and I've just...I don't know for some reason I want to read more books like

this because it really shocked me in all the right ways. So this is about a girl

who's kind of like 12 years old and she goes to stay with her Uncle and Aunt

in their hotel in this Cornish town and basically murders keep happening of the

women in the town and she's obsessed with murders and how basically people do

it and she decides she's going to discover who the murderer is and

basically her friend who is also staying in that hotel on holiday joins her on

this mission and it's just I don't know it's just really funny but also quite

dark and I just loved it. I just thought by the end when everything comes

together it's just the perfect kind of tone for that kind of book. Ok so those

were my favourite books of 2018. Do go down into
