Waching daily Jan 30 2019

Hi, I'm Phil

Today I'll talk about culture difference of UK I experienced.

But...something is wrong....

There is not Gina...

Where is Gina...

Actually, If we film with Gina, is more better but we can't do it everytime.

I will upload video like this more frequently in the future.

It is already two years ago....

In April 2017, I went to the UK for an exchange student. It can be said it is short if it is short, and it is long if it is long, but it was precious time to me.

So I will talk about what I experienced.

First of all is about 'The bus.'

Usually a lot of bus drivers wait until the passenger gets on and off.

Perhaps it is because the place where I lived was a little quiet place.

Of course, in the case of London, roads are often crowded like Seoul,

It is not pretty different with Seoul.

But what I tell you it is greeting with bus drivers.

Of course you can think 'I also greet at but in Korea'

what I surprised

I think that the ratio of the passenger who greets and driver who receives it a little high.

It's like.... I didn't expect re-greet. But I feel so good when drivers receive my greeting?

Also English says a lot 'cheers' when they drink.

Not only that, when they greet, they used 'cheers' a lot.

So I used to say 'cheers' a lot when I took a bus. Feeling was good.

So it's like really comfy and familiar mood of bus? I was satisfied.

Second is 'The weather'

In the last video, Gina said that Korean weather is totally different with UK weather.

I agree 100% about it.

It feels like...

Korean summer is high temperature and humid.

So it's really annoying.

But UK summer is not too humid, like this. so

At summer, it was not too uncomfy.

I think UK weather is pretty good.

But I wanna talk about attitude of people to the weather.

Maybe You guys heard about that in UK people don't use umbrellas a lot?

Some people misunderstand that the UK people don't use umbrellas even in the storm.

When it is crazy rain, most of people use the umbrellas.

Of course, when it is rains, we need to use the umbrella. But it rains too often.

Like a shower.

So in my opinion.

A lot of people thing when it rains, 'It will be stop soon' like this.

So if you stayed in London for a day,

you can understant this quote 'the weather is really boring.'

Perhaps if UK weather is like Korean weather like the rainy season is fixed and sewer floods,

the attitude of the weather of English will be changed.

And when it is raining,

if you go to cafe and drink coffee.

It's pretty nice.

Third one is 'Pub culture.'

In the UK, Pub is one of the most popular and representative cultures.

When you meet friends, watch the sport, have a meal or drink,

I felt that the pub is like a social place.

It sounds not too heavy, if you wanna go to the pub.

I was a little bit surprised when I felt Pub is opening space...?

This is a little different from Korea.

Because what is our nation?

We are nation of '흥' (fun)

We have a lot of attractions in Koreal.

When we met friends, first go to eat meat and Noraebang and play to bowling.

If there is an empire under the sun in the 21st century, it would be Korea...?

Also I tought Korea has more atrractions rather than UK.

And I felt UK poeple likes a variety of drinks.

So I think they would liek to go to the pub.

And in Korea if you wanna drink you have to order to meal usually.

But in UK, there is no hesitation about no meal with drink.

I think the advantage of UK pub is that you can go there without hesitation. Even if you just wanna a drink.

And originally, Pub is short for public and house.

In the case of Korea, if you think a pub, you imagine draft beer house or garaoke.

So I heard somethings, pub is a social meeting place for UK peopld.

So they said there were memories and it is comfy.

Of course, too mcuch drinking is not good.

In some pub in UK, I liked the cheerful atmosphere because people was dancing like that.

I think that is a little different from the Korean drink culture.

And last one is 'The leather jacket.'

Personally I was really empressived the leather jacket.

what is the leather jacket.

A lot of UK people has the leather jacket.

When I guessed....maybe 7 out of 10 have a leather jacket...

It is simlar of 'long padding' in Korea,

There are a lot of people who wear the leat jacket in UK. Really.

But I will tell you the differene between long padding and leather jacket.

Long padding spreads in fashion a year or two ago and is loved by the masses.

But like leather jacket.....is...

Just....originally....

It seems to be one of the clothing that has been loved by the UK people for a long time.

Why tell you about this leather jacket.

There are a lot of parts that I don't understand a little bit.

What is a fun

when it rains or cold or warm,

There are so many people in the UK who just wear white t-shirst and leather jacket on the streets.

At first I thought,

If people wears the leather jacket when ii rains, water flows down in clothes or leather is really strong.

So people wears it...

And I thought a lot about this....

So I asked to my friends...

I have never heard a clear answer.

They just said 'it is cool, comfy etc.'

Just I thought...'ah it is just popular.

Please comment below if you know why UK people loves the leather jacket.

So today I prepared until here.

I hope you guys like this video :D

So I will upload QnA video soon.

If you like this video, pls subs and likes!

So I will be back with other vidoes! Love you and Thank you!

Πρόγραμμα γυμναστικής για αρχάριες γυναίκες στο γυμναστήριο - Duration: 5:07.

before we start, this is a program for healthy beginners and untrain people

why I say "healthy" because if you have knee problems

the workout should be a little different

what most of the womer want?

Legs, butt, flat somach and a little bit of upper body

The girl you see is my sister

she did her lower body warm up

and then she warmed up the upper body

she did that because I told her. I want her to do an exercise for the lower and an exercise for the upper body

so she finished with the warm up in the beginning

if you want to do first the exercises for the lower body and then the exercises for the upper body

of course you can do it

but before you start with the exercises for the upper body you should warm up the upper body

I said a lot of times "upper body"

I have the exercises this way so you go from the hardest to the easiest, I am speaking for the leg exercises

for the up upper body you can do first the push or the pull exercises

and at the end you will focus on your arms

you will see

let's start with the workout

control the movement, don't let it take you down

bend a little bit your knees

push with your legs so the waist stay in touch with the floor

let's go

don't lift your self so much

so for those of you who are beginners and want to try this workout

the first week I want you to do one set of every exercise

the 2nd 2 sets, the 3rd 3 sets and after that stay at 3

to make the exercise harder

add more wheigt

for the exercise that it is with your bodyweight

go your legs further

and to do it more harder

you can lift one of your legs

if you don't want to go too a gym

of course you can make your body at home

leave me a comment with what you want to learn and I will make it in a future video

this was the video for today

Choosing Cochlear Implants For Your Child—Advice From A Mom | MED-EL - Duration: 2:22.

My name is Colleen Powell.

My son Liam has 2 cochlear implants. He was implanted on one side

at age 3 and on the other at age 7.

He has the FLEX 24 electrode

and he wears the SONNET processors most of the time

but he loves the RONDOS with the

WaterWear for swimming.

When Liam was first implanted he was 3. He didn't have

really any language at that point.

And very quickly after he got his first implant

not only did his language explode

but he himself was asking for a second implant.

He recognized that he could

hear much better with the implant

as opposed to the hearing aid.

And so it was 4 years before we could make that happen.

But after surgery .... he just come out of surgery and he was still

kind of asleep and we were in the recovery room with him and he

sort of reached up and he felt the bandage on his head and he said:

"Oh, they did the implant!" And I said: "Yes."

And he goes: "I didn't even feel it."

And he was kind of sleepy and he just said: "Thanks, mom."

And I was like:

"For what, buddy?" And he just said: "For letting me get this implant."

Just that he recognized how much it helped him

and that he was so thankful for it and really

wanted it himself. It just felt like a real miracle to me.

The first thing I would say is:

There's a lot of hope.

Well, it may feel very scary and really unknown right now.

There is so much great stuff ahead for your kid.

And the advice I would give is just to ... in anyway you can

find some community, find some other parents,

find adult cochlear implant users.

Just so that you get a little bit of a picture

of what's ahead. And then to trust yourself.

The thing that I wish I'd known was that I was on the right path.

I think when you make this decisions for your child

for their life. I mean the implant is

hopefully gonna be there

forever for him. It feels really overwhelming.

And you wonder: "Am I making the right decision?"

"Is this the right thing?"

I felt really insecure and really unsure of myself.

Now on the other side of it I just wish I had trusted myself a

little more. And I'd known that we are on the right

path, we are making the right decisions.

And that ... it was gonna turn out...

just better than we could have imagined.

#venturewednesday | Startup Intelligence Center - Duration: 3:58.

My name is Sophia and I'm in the lead of the Startup Intelligence Center.

The Startup Intelligence Center is basically the entry gate

for any startup cooperation between startups and Daimler Financial Services.

Our task is to bring in the outside-in perspective:

what are the latest trends in the tech and startup scene?

In order not to miss anything.

Another task is to check: where are pain points in our organization?

Where do business units or colleagues have some kind of a pain point?

In order to solve these with new technologies, with startup solutions.

At the Startup Intelligence Center we mainly focus on three tech areas:

first of all Mobility Services, Financial Service and Insurance.

And in this area of course on FinTechs and InsurTechs.

My name is Sabrina and I am startup scout at the Startup Intelligence Center.

Finding startups isn't difficult, the market is huge and very dynamic, new startups emerge each day.

The challenge is to find the one, right startup for us in this wealth of startups.

The starting point in our scouting process is our colleague's pain point,

a specific problem they have which needs to be solved.

As soon as we understand what the pain point is, we start scouting.

Therefore we contact all our partners we collaborate with:

STARTUP AUTOBAHN, Tech Invest. But we also check our own startup database

which is regularly filled as we take part in events and scout by ourselves.

In the scouting process we mainly focus on the business model and the founding team.

Furthermore we have IT-colleagues who are responsible for a tech-check.

In tandem with us, they check the technology: can we apply the technology and is it compatible with the technology we use already?

As soon as we have a top five, we organize a pitch day and invite the startups.

We support during the whole process and the final decision,

whether there will be a cooperation, is up to the department.

Our departments are used to completely different ways of working

because we used to work differently in the past, we organized projects in another way.

Allowing to incorporate something new by the startups now –

meaning a really agile way of development based on various sprints,

on new designer profiles – bringing all of this together, and convincing the department:

"Hey, let's try something new!"

That's exactly our task in this process.

For me, the job of a startup scout is interesting because of two things:

on the one hand it is very analytical. You analyze the market,

you take a look at a vast number of startups and you have to filter the most interesting one for our company.

You encounter new technologies, you encounter the future.

But on the other hand it's people business: it's about getting to know people,

cooperating with people, characterizing people.

t's a lot about gut feeling and intuition: is this the new startup that will make it big tomorrow?

These are two things or facets of the job

that I find very exciting and which is why I really like to be a startup scout.

I think that new colleagues in the team probably don't feel like they're new after only two days.

That's us, that's what makes us unique

and what allows us to be so dynamic:

no one could ever get used to defined structures.

I am convinced that our team has an important role

because otherwise we would often forget to be outward-looking.

But this becomes ever more important, we have to look outwards – and we want to do so.

PM Lee calls for preparations to abolish 6-tier disability grading system starting July - Duration: 2:16.

Last year's Paralympics in Pyeongchang... helped change many people's perceptions in

South Korea of people with disabilities.

That's apparently true for the government, too,... which has decided to simplify the

way it provides benefits to disabled people and to expand the benefits.

Our Cha Sang-mi has this story.

This taxi is for people with disabilities... who travel seated in a wheelchair.

But not all disabled people could use it due to the strict disabilities grading system.

Long-persisting perceptions of the disabled began to change in South Korea last year when

the government announced plans to scrap the 31-year-old policy of providing services to

disabled people according to the severity of their disability.

"The long-cherished wish for people with disabilities -- the abolition of grades of disabilities

-- comes into effect this July.

The government should put in more effort so the disabled can actually feel more changes."

The implementation of the new policy comes after a year of discussions and research between

the government and associations concerning people with disabilities.

Starting July, the government will, in phases, boost support for the disabled, through equipment

and devices, facilities, and living, as well as emergency safety services.

This includes plans to increase the number of specialist schools for disabled students

to 199, building over 20 schools by year 2022.

As for subsidies, the government has already raised the basic monthly disability allowance,

but is looking to increase it further up to 270 U.S. dollars.

The six grades of severity will also be recategorized into two grades: severe conditions and not

severe conditions.

The PM at a meeting on the new disability policies on Wednesday said despite the changes,

people with disabilities face many challenges: "The employment rate for people with disabilities

is only half the employment rate for ordinary citizens and per capita income for the disabled

is also only two thirds the normal income."

The Prime Minister called for a wise solution to "disabled community care" to avoid any

more conflicts from policy change.

pCon.planner - Dot.Pro | Forma 5 - Duration: 3:56.

In this new video, in addition to showing how to configure our new chair Dot.Pro, we take the opportunity to present our new interface design.

With it, we have tried to create a visual unit between the design of our Price List and pCon.planner.

To insert the chair Dot.Pro, we go to the icon "Task Chairs"

And we choose Dot.Pro.

Within Dot.Pro, we show the two aspects that we offer in the Price List:

"Dot.Pro mesh backrest" and "Dot.Pro upholstered backrest"

In this case, we choose the mesh backrest.

In the following menu, we choose the type of mechanism. For Dot.Pro we offer 4 types of configurations:

- "Synchro Atom" or "Synchro Atom + sliding seat" - "Synchro Motion" or "Synchro Motion + sliding seat"

For example, we select the option "Synchro Atom"

On the right we open the configurator of the product where the predetermined options appear and that we can modify as we want with the possibilities of the series.

In the configurator we can change the backrest options "mesh" or "upholstered"

Fabric groups: Dot.Pro offers from Group 1 to 6, the lattest is upholstered in leather.

In this case we choose the G5 - Synergy Lateral LD528

A remarkable feature of Dot.Pro is the border of the seat, to match the backrest of mesh, in this case Web, for the Mesh backrest versión.

We can also modify our choice between the "Synchro Atom or Motion" mechanism, as well as the "Sliding seat" .

The "sliding seat" allows to regulate the depth of the seat by 5 cm.

We can change the finish of the base between "Polyamide Star base D69", "Polished aluminium Star base D69" or "White aluminum Star base D69"

Depending on the type of floor, we can choose between "Hard or soft double-wheel"

We choose our arm options: "without arms", "black or white fixed arms", "1D arms", "3D arms with polyamide or aluminum support" or "4D arms"

Dot.Pro incorporates a new type of lumbar adjustment called "Flex"

Lumbar support formed by a single piece of polypropylene that crosses the backrest transversally, with a system adjustable in height of flexible slats.

We can also modify the mesh type and colour of the backrest between "Black Meci Mesh" and "Web Mesh: intense black, grey- black and white"

We already have our chair configured

and ready to include it in our Project

Once placed in our project, we launched our render to show our product in an office environment.

We choose our render parameters and wait for the result.

Here the result of our render with the incorporation of our chair Dot.Pro.
