China readies its military
After Chinese leader Xi Jinping
Vows to take Taiwan
But the US may have a different idea.

I'm Chris Chappell.
The Chinese military is preparing for war.
Again.
In fact, for a country that hasn't seen real combat
since a brief war with Vietnam in 1979,
China seems to be preparing for war a lot.
At least once a year it seems.
I mean, it's good to be prepared, right?
You never know when a war might sneak up behind you
and suddenly happen through no fault of your own.
But these "preparation for war" headlines
aren't necessarily that alarming by themselves.
After all, the US military talks about
combat readiness all the time,
which is essentially being prepared for war.
But could there be any indication about a specific war
that the Chinese Communist Party is possibly getting ready for?
"Taiwanese independence would be a disaster.
Those are the words of Chinese President Xi Jinping,
who made the comments in a speech on Wednesday in Beijing.
Taiwan is China's most sensitive issue
and is claimed as a breakaway province of a 'one China.'
And in his speech,
Xi said China will strive to lead Taiwan to
a bright future under Beijing's rule."
Yes, the future looks bright for China and Taiwan,
and unrelatedly, Xi Jinping called on the PLA to,
you guessed it, prepare for war.
But I'm sure this preparing for war stuff doesn't have
anything to do with Xi's speech on Taiwan.
Actually, it does.
It's pretty much a warning.
Xi gave his speech about Taiwan
on the 40th anniversary
of the major change in China's Taiwan policy.
In 1979, the Chinese Communist Party
stopped saying it would "liberate" Taiwan,
and instead said it would "peacefully reunify" with Taiwan.
By force if necessary.
By the way,
even the word "reunification"
is a pretty clever propaganda term.
In Chinese, the term is actually "unification."
But if you translate it as "reunification"
that makes it seem like Taiwan
was historically always a part of China.
Which is not true.
Now even though Xi's speech
caused a lot of controversy,
it wasn't technically a change
in the People's Republic of China's
current policy toward Taiwan.
In fact, the language was less harsh
than a speech Xi gave as last March,
when he said China was ready to fight
a bloody battle against its enemies.
And for the military to prepare for war…
which, again, he says ALL THE TIME.
But this year, he struck a different tone.
"Chinese people don't attack Chinese people."
Which has been true exactly...
never, in Chinese history.
I mean...Mao.
Xi Jinping actually had lifted that line
from a 1995 speech about Taiwan
given by his biggest political rival,
former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin.
Which is kind of like Tupac lifting a line from Biggie.
Look them up on Wikipedia.
There were also other goodies
sprinkled throughout Xi Jinping's speech.
Like when he said China, quote,
"achieved a great victory in frustrating
the Taiwan independence movement
and other separatist activities."
Which sounds to me like he wants bragging rights
for illegally interfering in Taiwan's recent elections.
Now Xi's not technically taking credit.
But I mean, if you want to give him credit...
Xi also mentioned the One Country,
Two Systems model a bunch of times.
That would mean Taiwan can become part of
the Communist People's Republic of China,
but would still get to keep a degree of political autonomy.
One Country, Two Systems.
It would be totally fine, Xi Jinping says.
"After peaceful reunification,
Taiwan will have lasting peace
and the people will enjoy good and prosperous lives.
With the great motherland's support,
Taiwan compatriots' welfare will be even better,
their development space will be even greater,
they can stand more upright in the international community
with more confidence,
they will be safer and they will have more dignity."
Yeah, just like Hong Kong!
The one country two systems policy is in action there,
and it's worked great!
Well, except for a few minor things,
like multiple pro-democracy figures being harassed,
jailed, and kicked out of office.
Oh, and prominent foreign activists
being banned from visiting Hong Kong.
Oh, and a bunch of broken promises
about letting people there vote.
Plus Chinese state security spying on foreign journalists.
But otherwise, it's great!
And yet, for some reason,
Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen
just doesn't see it like that.
First, I must emphasize that
we have never accepted the "1992 Consensus."
The fundamental reason is because
the Beijing authorities' definition of the "1992 Consensus"
is "one China" and "one country, two systems."
The speech delivered by China's leader today
has confirmed our misgivings.
Here, I want to reiterate that Taiwan
absolutely will not accept "one country, two systems."
The vast majority of Taiwanese
also resolutely oppose "one country, two systems,"
and this opposition is also a "Taiwan consensus."
In fact, even though Xi Jinping's speech
wasn't a departure from Chinese policy,
Tsai responded with a public break from the 1992 consensus.
The 1992 consensus established that Taiwan and China
both agree that there is only one China,
and that Taiwan is a part of it,
but each side has their own interpretation
of what "China" means.
Essentially, each side claims that
they are the one true China.
The Chinese Communist Party doesn't mention
this whole "interpretation" part
when they talk about the 1992 consensus,
just the part where Taiwan agrees it's part of China.
Now since President Tsai was elected in 2016,
she had never openly acknowledged the 1992 consensus.
And her party, the DPP,
has historically not accepted it.
But now Tsai is actively and publicly rejecting it.
She said, "I myself expect all of Taiwan's political parties
to clearly state, 'We reject "one country, two systems.'
And there's no need to talk about the 1992 consensus anymore,
because this term has already been defined by Beijing
as 'one country, two systems.'"
And Taiwan is even now, well...preparing for war.
Maybe you guys have more in common than you think.
And it's really breaking Xi Jinping up.
No wonder Xi Jinping said "Taiwan is so close,
yet so far away."
Xi Jinping just wants to reunify with you, Tsai.
How can you be so cruel?
But not only has Tsai taken a stronger and stronger stance
against the People's Republic of China,
she's also now calling out the international community.
"When a country that does its best
to practice democracy and shared international values
faces threats and violation,
I believe that this is also a violation of democracy
and those values.
If the international community does not speak out for
and support Taiwan while it is facing such a situation,
we have to ask which country will be next."
But while democracy and human rights is nice and all,
don't you know how much money China has?!
But even though the US has official diplomatic ties
with the communist People's Republic of China,
the US has for decades also had strong,
unofficial, but positive ties with Taiwan.
Last November,
two US sailed two Navy ships
through the Strait of Taiwan,
a third time for the year.
Last year also saw the Trump Administration
setting up a 255 million dollar defacto embassy in Taiwan.
And, on the last day of 2018,
Trump signed into law the Asia Reassurance Initiative Act.
The section on Taiwan focuses on the US's commitment
"to counter efforts to change the status quo
and to support peaceful resolution acceptable
to both sides of the Taiwan Strait."
And to regularly sell weapons to Taiwan.
You know, in case anyone over there
decides to prepare for war.
So look out, Xi Jinping.
Because if you get too aggro,
you might just end up with Trump jumping in the middle.
And things would get...interesting.

would come to Taiwan's aid in event of an invasion?
Well, first of all,
I think it would be very difficult for China
to ever even launch an invasion of Taiwan.
But should it ever happen,
I'm fairly confident the United States would get involved.
Decades of US policy has shown strong support for Taiwan.
In a recent episode I talked about the island of Kinmen,
which is only a few miles off the coast of Mainland China—
but is administered by Taiwan's government.
In the 1950's, the Chinese military
actually bombarded the island,
specifically to see if the US
would actually get involved.
And the US did.
And as I mentioned, the Trump administration
has shown a lot of support for Taiwan,
and I think that will continue
despite the resignation of James Mattis,
who was a staunch supporter of Taiwan.
The real risk to Taiwan is a gradual
cultural and economic invasion.
The United States would be powerless
if the Chinese Communist Party were able to
successfully promote its interests in Taiwan
to the extent that there is
a strong enough force for unification
coming from inside Taiwan.
But remember,
even if Taiwan does someday get back together with China,
that doesn't mean that it's the Chinese Communist Party
that's going to be in charge.

THE WORD "SEEK," S-E-E-K, IS AN EXTREMELY STRONG WORD.
AND INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH, I LOOKED UP THE WORD SEEK,
AND EVERY PLACE THAT IT'S USED IN THE OLD TESTAMENT,
IT REFERS TO SEEKING GOD.
EVERY SINGLE PLACE IT'S USED IN THE OLD TESTAMENT, IT REFERS TO
EITHER SEEKING GOD OR SOMETIMES GOD WAS SEEKING PEOPLE
FOR SOMETHING.
THE WORD MEANS TO CRAVE, TO PURSUE, TO MAKE SACRIFICES TO
GET, TO GO AFTER WITH ALL OF YOUR STRENGTH AND ALL
OF YOUR HEART.
SO YOU KNOW, WE CAN TELL A LOT ABOUT OURSELVES, AND YES, I'M

BUT ACROSS THIS DIRECTION, BEHIND THIS FENCE IS
AN INCREDIBLE RESPITE, A PLACE OF RESCUE AND HEALTH,
A PLACE THAT WE ARE THRILLED TO TELL YOU ABOUT.
THIS IS THE SAN JOSE VILLANUEVA CLINIC.

WHEN THEY GET THEIR HOPES UP THAT THOSE HOPES WILL BE DASHED.
WELL, WE ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF SHARING HOPE, SO WE COME IN HERE
AND WE KEEP OUR WORD.
WE ARE HERE WHEN ALL OF THESE PEOPLE NEED IT.
AND YOU'LL SEE THERE ARE A LOT OF FAMILIES HERE, A LOT OF
CHILDREN WHO ARE SICK AND SUFFERING, BUT ONE THING THAT
YOU WON'T SEE IS A LOT OF YOUNG MEN, AND THAT IS
BECAUSE OF THE GANG ACTIVITY.
IN THIS AREA, YOUNG BOYS IN PARTICULARLY ARE RECRUITED AT
A VERY YOUNG AGE.
SO, ANY WAY THAT WE CAN COME IN HERE AND SHARE CHRIST WILL MAKE

good morning everyone Jennifer LeClaire here with you senior leader of The
Awakening House of Prayer in South Florida founder of the ignite Network
and of course author of our devotional mornings with the holy spirit listening
daily to the still small voice of God today's devotion titled hold on to hope
and here's what I heard the Lord say father is able to use every bit of your
bad day every part of your past every moment of pain and persecution you've
endured for your benefit believe that with all of your heart and soul nothing
you face is too much for you you are an overcomer nothing you endure will shake
you or break you when hope is the anchor of your soul so hold onto hope through
every bad day through memories of the past through painful experiences and
through persecution father is using everything in your life for your good my
god that's good news come on somebody that's good news chin up you can do this
today's scripture reference is Genesis 50:20 Romans 15:13 and Romans 12:12
and the prayer starter I am so grateful that father can bring good out of bad
that's a miracle and it's a truth that gives me hope I will hope in your love I
will hope in you I will patiently hope surely there is a future and my hope
will not be cut off will you stir hope in my heart and of course his answer is
yes yes yes yes yes he is the god of Hope when hope seems missing God has
somehow been left out and we need to include him because he is the one who
brings hope to our heart and every situation his word is life god we thank
you this morning for who you are the God of all hope there is never a time when
we can other out of our lips that our situation is hopeless
as long as we know our God I thank you Lord that you are the God of
all hope the God of all grace the God of all mercy the God of all comfort the God
of all peace God you are the all in all Jesus you are the all in all there's no
one like you you make the crooked places straight you make the wrong things right
you work the bad things out for our good you are a miracle working God and we
love you Jesus we adore you King of Kings we magnify
you son of David oh God we're so grateful for who you are for who you are
not just for what you've promised us all of your promises are yes and amen and
they're magnificent they're worth rejoicing over every promise you've made
us it's true you are not a man that you should lie nor the Son of man that you
should repent there is no shifting shadow if turning
in you when you say a thing you mean a thing and you're going to do a thing
you're just waiting for us to ask in faith you're just waiting us waiting for
us to release a believing prayer not a doubting prayer not a fearful prayer but
a believing prayer god help us to release believing prayers help us to
release prayers that are wrapped it with faith god help us to release prayers
that other ar-ar-ar just released with with confidence God in the name of Jesus
God our confidence is in you the creator of the universe our hope is in you the
lifter of our head and the lover of our soul our our faith and our our loyalty
is to you and to your leadership father we thank you that you sent the Holy
Spirit he is our leader on the earth he is the one who leads us and guides us
into all truth he is the one who leads us and guides us out of danger and into
safety he is the one that leads us and guides us to the place that you intend
for us to go Lord we are so grateful that you have not left us as orphans but
our spirit your Spirit bears witness in our heart that you are our Father and we
out today Abba Father Oh God would you help us today in our
shortcomings would you help us today with her fears would you help us today
with that discontent in our soul because we're hungry for you God would you meet
each one of us individually 1 million-plus where we are right now at
this point in time where my voice is emanating over the airways and out into
the spirit realm would you help each one of us individually right now with the
problem the challenge the obstacle that we face God would you infuse our heart
with hope would you help us define the promise in Scripture that applies to our
current situation would you help us Lord with an enduring spirit that we will
continue to press and press and press and press until we cross the finish line
with arms held up and head held high god I thank you that you are with us we
don't have to ask you to be with us you are with us you promised you would be
with us you promised you would never leave us even to the end of the age and
there's somebody out there right now who you're just feeling so alone you feel
like nobody understands you you feel like nobody gets it you feel like nobody
ever could get it you feel physically alone emotionally alone there's
different ones I'm talking to actually there's a whole slew of you some of you
are surrounded by people but you feel alone that is probably the worst kind of
loneliness there is it's one thing to feel alone when you're alone but when
you're around people and you feel lonely there's a deep wound in your soul where
you're not willing or you're not able to let people in so you isolate yourself
and you stand in that place where you just don't seem to fit in you just don't
seem to understand you just don't seem to find funny what other people find
funny because you're imprisoned in your mind
father the name of Jesus I ask you to release those ones today who are in
bondage God to go into the deep recesses of their soul the pathways even in their
brain where the enemy has come in with strongholds hurts wounds pains fears
all these different issues of life that that we have to all face from one time
or another god help us Lord today to walk into a place of freedom to walk
into that place of joy where we actually enjoy our life we're not miserable and
an endowment an angry and God help us Lord there's so many people listening to
me and in one way or another you're lonely they say it's lonely at the top
you know what that's a lie it doesn't have to be lonely at the top
dear God there's all these lies there's all these I just wanted to I'm not
getting off this this loneliness thing I'm telling you what start letting
people into your heart one of my mentors one time was going through something and
she was a woman that I respected above all and she said you know I I just feel
like I'm on the outside I don't even know why she told me that I guess she
was so I guess she didn't have anywhere else to talk to it was the strangest
thing powerful powerful powerful she said I just feel like I'm on the outside
at the church I just feel like I'm and and the Lord put words in my mouth and
before I could before she felt lonely she felt alone even though she was
celebrated she felt alone even though she was admired and inhaled it says high
esteem and everybody wanted a prophetic word from her everybody wanted a counsel
with her everybody wanted her to pray and she felt alone and out of my mouth
came these words I said maybe you feel alone because you've isolated yourself
and then I was like either because I couldn't believe I said it she said I
receive that rebuke and you're correct and I said no no no I'm not rebuking you
she says the Holy Spirit did through you and she says you're right I've I've put
I'm the one that's pulled away I am the one that has created the situation in
which I feel alone and lonely I am the one who has done this to myself I've
allowed the enemy to fool me to lie to me to keep me in an area of captivity in
part of my soul where I can't see that all the people around me they're
celebrating and they love me and they want what I have to give and I want to
receive from them too and I was like whoa Wow some of you you're lonely and
you don't know that's what your problem is
you don't know and some of you that is your problem that is your issue is
loneliness you're lonely oh whatever maybe just it's your job and you feel
isolated and alone in your workplace you go home with your family it's called a
compartment to loneliness you go home with your family and you're open and
you're good and you have a great time but you get in that workplace and you
just feel all alone or at some Christmas party and and everybody there is doing
this that and the other and you just lost somebody in the past year or two or
three and everybody's celebrating and drinking eggnog and eating cookies and
you feel alone you feel like you can't engage because you don't have anything
to offer and you don't want to receive anything from anybody else because you
might get hurt again ah shock our Father in the name of Jesus today deal with
loneliness deal with that loneliness god help us Lord to come out of our shell
help us Lord to find the best in every situation help us Lord to fellowship
with you throughout the day throughout the night no matter where we are because
we'll never be lonely when we're in your presence and we understand that the king
of kings wants an audience with us that his eye is upon us that his ear is bowed
down to us god help us today to realize that we are never alone we are never
alone because you are with us I'm going to tell you one more story I'm going to
pray because there's prayer answers and the floodgates day 34 after 9/11 I was
living in Alabama and I woke up to phones ringing
on the day of 9/11 and the buildings were crashing it was like I I guess I
didn't get up as early back then because it it wasn't it didn't happen like 5:00
in the morning I was walking up the phone was ringing ringing ringing
ringing I'm like what in the world is this finally I woke up I had a roommate
at the time and she came in and she said that there's been a terrorist attack on
America and I'm like what and I'm in the news business you know and I just
everybody was freaked out and then she went to go out with some boyfriend that
she made and I'm like man I don't want to be by myself I haven't I'm like I'm
scared I'm think this is Armageddon the whole thing's
coming down I was just born again within three months I just been but just been
born again just been born again and I was just freaked out and I'm like I
don't want to stay here by myself I didn't know what was gonna go on I
didn't know what was gonna happen and she was not a very nice lady but you
know what she said something that helped me she says you're not alone because
Jesus is with you and that shifted my paradigm from that moment forward we are
never alone because Jesus is with you don't let the emotion of loneliness
overwhelm you it's just an emotion it's not your reality you are not alone you
are not alone you may feel that way but you're not led by your feelings you're
led by your spirit father help all those who are lonely you know somebody is
getting irritated because you're like well I'm not lonely move on you know
what get off my broadcast I'm helping people the Holy Spirit is highlighting
this pray for somebody quit being so selfish in the name of Jesus father I
thank you that we are not alone we are not alone because you are with us and I
break the spirit of loneliness that speaks to your people to try to get them
to further isolate themselves at a time when you are trying to bring others in
their life to bless them father help us Lord not to tap into that spirit that
voice of loneliness that would try to make us feel as if nobody wants to be
around us that will never have any friends that will be alone forever god
help us to remember that you are the friend that sticks closer than a brother
you are the God who was with us you've formed us in our mother's womb you've
had your eye upon us every moment of our life even before we knew you you loved
us we love you because you first loved us help us Lord to get our relationship
with you into such a intimate level that whether we're in a crowd of a million or
we're all alone that we never feel that loneliness again because it's not of God
and we break the powers of loneliness in Jesus name thank you lord thank you lord
thank you lord thank you lord thank you lord thank you
Lord in Jesus name we give you praise now listen there's that's a whole big
thing there's there's there's prayer answers in the flood gates I want to
stay on that loneliness thing a little more but I'm gonna study some of it and
I'm gonna do a teaching on it there is pray answers in the flood gates prayer
answers in the flood gates so maybe you have been praying and praying and
praying and praying and praying and God is saying come meet me and hold out your
hands and I'm gonna put in your palms that which you have asked me for but
you've got to get in the flood gates some of you your prayer answer is coming
in the form of a strategy some of your prayer answer is coming in the form of
that still small voice that comforts you some of your prayer answer is coming in
a directive that says go work at this place or go to the bake at this hour or
go find this thing father the name of Jesus I thank you Lord that you are the
God who answers prayers you hear and answer prayers and I thank you Lord that
your word says you're to put me and remembers of my word so I'm reminding
you Lord that your word says that if we ask anything according to your will that
you hear us and if you hear us we know that we have that which we asked first
John I thank you Lord for those words they inspire us to pray they inspire us
to keep on asking Jesus you said in your word that we should ask and keep on
asking that we should knock and keep on knocking that we should seek and keep on
seeking God some of us have been seeking asking and knocking for years and I
thank you Lord that those prayer answers are in the floodgates so we run we run
with full abandon we run into the we're gonna run we're gonna run so we run out
of breath and we're gonna keep running we're gonna run and we're gonna sit at
the head of those flood gates and we're gonna wait upon you because that prayer
answer is there in the flood gate you're pouring out prayer answers open heavens
you are short on ababa shay if you abide in me says god and my word abides in
you ask anything and I will do it for you there are prayer answers in the
floodgates go sit in the presence of God abide in him meditate on the word
practice the presence of God do all these things we've been pressing into
all month there are prayer answers it's a tipping point day 34 prayer answers
and the floodgates this is not for the lazy and it's not for the lukewarm and
it's not for the lackadaisical it's for those who are abiding in him he is the
vine and we are the branches apart from him we can do nothing but in him we are
everything we have everything that he has for us and that he wants us to be
God we thank you there's prayer answers in the floodgates
and I just hear the Lord saying don't grow weary don't grow weary and waiting
on me because I will never be late says the Lord and don't grow weary and
putting your hand to the work that I have given you for I will bring the
increase says the Lord and stop looking around and about you to see where the
blessing is coming from and look up to me because I will tell you which
direction to walk which direction to run when to sit down and take a break when
to lay down and take a sleep I will direct your steps and direct your life
says God if you will let me I will cause you to run smack dab into the biggest
blessing you've ever experienced in your life if you'll let me
but you must run to me you must walk toward me you must do what I've told you
to do obey my word obey my instructions obey the whispers that I speak to your
heart says God listen for my still small voice stand with your arms raised up in
your ears wide open and your heart ready to receive for I will pour out my wisdom
upon you in the flood gate says God and I will give you the answer to the riddle
the solution to the mystery that has that has puzzled you for years and years
and years says the Lord those things which you could not understand those
things you've been praying about I will bring closure to you in the flood
gate says the Lord I will come and I will meet you there
I will show you things to come and I will solve issues of your past I'm
standing at the head of the floodgate says God
now walk toward me run toward me crawl toward me move toward me continue to go
forward and don't look back says the Lord because your blessings that you
received and the days gone by were sufficient for that hour with the
blessing that I have for you in the season ahead far exceeds what you've
ever experienced before and what says eye has not seen nor has ear heard what
I have in my heart for you my heart is big my heart is overflowing towards you
and the floodgates are open and all you must do is sit in a position of
receiving with eyes wide open ears wide open hearts wide open run walk crawl do
what you need to do to get there and then sit in my presence those who wait
upon me will find their strength renewed they will mount up with wings like
eagles you will see things the way that I see them you will see the prayer
answers from that position of surrender that position of waiting that position
of not striving in your own strength but leaning on mine father we thank you
today that we will we will we will sit in the floodgates we will wait upon you
by faith and patience we inherit the promises and those promises are there
those prayer answers are there everything we need is there it's in your
presence what you're pouring out upon us is not something we can ever ever attain
on our own it doesn't come by good works it doesn't come by anything but your
grace father we thank you for your grace we thank you that you are so willing to
bless that it is your nature to bless we're so grateful that it is you who
makes all things new there's somebody listening to me you need you need a
fresh start you need a new beginning and I just hear the Lord saying then have
one it's almost like you're waiting for something to shift or waiting for
something to change but you have the power to make it
you have the power to make change in your own life if you listen if you want
a new beginning listen to me if you want a new beginning I don't know who I'm
talking to if you want a new beginning in some area
of your life then make one God is not keeping you from the new beginning some
of you that new beginning is just a new attitude it's not even as shit listen to
me it's not even a shift in your job or your spouse or your whatever it is it's
your try that you're not satisfied with some of you on the brink of divorce you
don't need a divorce you need a new attitude you need some new communication
skills you need some new perspectives if you want a new beginning beloved you can
have a new beginning you don't have to wait on the Lord to do anything he's
given you the ability to think his thoughts I know you don't like to hear
that because you just want some but somebody just want you just wants to get
zapped and have everything new but we are responsible it's the first law of
success I am responsible you are responsible for receiving Christ and
you're responsible for the habits that you have you're responsible for the
thoughts that you think so father today I pray over all those who need a new
beginning and I thank you Lord that we can have that fresh start we can have
that do-over we can decide today is a new day we can decide I'm going to look
from a different vantage point I'm gonna listen with different ears I'm going to
stop hearing everything around me is negative and I'm gonna look to see that
some of the people who are around me that are negative are just really hurt
as how I'm gonna stop reacting and I'm gonna start responding we can decide we
can choose we can choose to stop and listen to that one who's hurting or we
can say oh they're such a bother and they never shut up we can choose to
build a relationship and family with the people around us or we can choose to be
work minded that we drive everyone around us away we can choose to lead or
we can choose to follow father help us to follow your leadership but to be
willing to lead others out of a heart of love out of a heart of its we not I out
of a heart of we're a team we're a family we're a unit when one succeeds we
all succeed but well one is hurting we're all hurting help us Lord to stop
looking at other people and their problems as a bother and start looking
at other people and their problems as an opportunity to show forth the love of
God and the grace of God and believing that the grace that we need to do what
we need to do will be there when we step out and put our hand back to it god help
us Lord not to be so selfish and self-centered that we just want to see
prayer answers for ourselves but help us God in the name of Jesus to be somebody
else's prayer answer ah to be somebody else's prayer answer the answer to
somebody else's prayer god help us to get our mind off ourselves
yes we need prayer answers God yes we need miracles yes we need breakthrough
yes there's so many things we need God but help us to get our mind off what we
need and stop being so need focus and need based and to be Christ centered
instead and people Center relationship centered God helped us to make that
shift because when it all comes crashing down it's not gonna be how hard this one
worked or what this one didn't get done it's gonna be about who they are and how
we can move forward and protect each other and love each other and pray for
each other god help us make that shift in the name of jesus my lord there's
just so much going on this broadcast today I need three hours to pray and I
don't have it we need to do a teaching on loneliness somebody remind me we need
to do a teaching on relationships and what kingdom relationship should look
like because we're missing it people many of us are missing it not all of you
some of you are good at it it's not all about the work it's about people God
cares about people the work will get done yeah we got to get the work done
dear Lord of course we do
so father thank you thank you Lord that you help us today to put first things
first you are first god help us Lord to know when there's grace to to shift and
help us always to keep relationships in my because you're you're the one who
brought us into relationship with you
you are the one you are the one and we give you praise and we give you honor
and we give you glory because you are the one you are the one you are the
lifter of our head you are the one who loves us unconditionally
you don't like everything we do but you love us with a passion so help us Lord
to love others with that same passion that you love us help us to demonstrate
agape love to people who feel lonely to people who need a prayer answer who have
been waiting so long they're about to give up to people who can't get the work
done because they're so hurt they're so distracted they're so whatever help us
Lord to take a few minutes of time and reassure them that they matter in the
name of Jesus amen and amen god is good there was a lot going on in this

A Pre-Owned Mercedes Sprinter Becomes a Motorhome - Advanced RV - Duration: 8:27.
We're newbies, and just pretty much went the "Go for Broke" and been through the
whole menu of everything; the big homes, and we just came to the conclusion of
what we're doing just there's something missing, it just isn't working anymore.
We were looking at the next chapter in our life of how we wanted to get back
to seeing the beautiful country we live in, and now that we're both retired this
is a good way we came about doing it.
From the beginning, I knew I didn't want a big rig, and we were looking at maybe a trailer a
smaller to pull; but the more we thought about that it's like, well,
I really don't think I want to pull something. We did all the research
between the RAM Promaster and the Ford Transit and you know the Mercedes
Sprinter then thought the Mercedes were gonna be our best fit and it was gonna
be a long process. It didn't matter where you found a place to have it done it was
gonna take time. But the first time she saw Mike doing an interview on
YouTube, she had me watch it and she pretty much right from the get-go going
we're gonna do this they're gonna be the ones. To be self-contained, to be
able to park just about anywhere and just to have that flexibility to be able to
get places, I mean it was automatic. It was like okay, sure, they're for us.
One of my concerns, I thought, are they gonna be willing to go outside the box? Because what we
wanted was very unique. But to hear Mike say they do
work with the customer, and do custom, and you got an idea you
throw it out there and there's variations -
Because anything they've done my understanding is there is very few
that are alike. They're all a little bit unique and different.
Louann did the research and found in Green Bay Wisconsin that this auto house they had
just received this unit; driving into the driveway and seeing her in a parking lot
just totally I was like a kid in a candy store. Every cell in my body just
lit up going wow if we're gonna do this this is the platform we're gonna do it on.
Just bought it on the spot then went from there.
She was leased out to a power company, so she spent her first four years taking some hard knocks.
She's got some nicks and dents and stuff and she was pretty dirty when we found her
One of my first concerns was, not only the custom build, but are
they gonna work with a used vehicle?
I filled out a little form online, I mean it was less than 10 minutes.
Mike called me right back, goes "Oh yeah 2013 we've done them, no problem."
I go, "Yes!" So then my second
question was, "Well, are you okay with alternatives to materials that you're using?"
Because I had asked, "Are you non-toxic? What kind of materials are you putting in there?"
And they're doing a great job, a lot of them are, but then I kind of wanted to push the envelope a little bit
to go a little bit more. And no problem! We set up the appointment
to come, and we talked to Brittany and Mike and we got the tour,
and went through it all - Talking about budget, what we were looking at, and
we're like, "Okay, we're in." It just went very smoothly and just a wonderful experience
Right off the bat I was really amazed at the quality work
that Mary put in to doing the curtains; she made a nice little fabric Kleenex box and a nice little bag out of the excess material.
And that to me was just like, "Okay, thank you so much this is just
really really nice" And seeing materials used and not wasted,
was really important to me so that just really touched my heart.
I would say one of the first major important things for us is comfort and sleep. The second
thing was non-toxic sustainable products.
I started doing research, that's kind of my thing, and I found there was an ad
that popped up about Avocado Green Mattress and I'm going, "Well, this is
interesting. What's this?" I start looking into the company and the history. They use all
non-toxic materials. There's actually organic wool, there's a natural latex
like ARV is putting into a lot of theirs. And they also have this special
technology of an inner spring. We chose to do a pillow top which is comfort.
It's made in California. I called, we talked to them, and they're just fantastic.
And very interested in our application because this is unusual for them.
"You're building an RV? Cool! It's gonna be in a Sprinter van? Oh! Even neater!"
"When it's done you gotta send me pictures!"
Our first night experience was just awesome. It is so comfortable.
It's like a hug. It supports you.
We wanted the open feel. We don't like things boxed in. We wanted windows to be
able to enjoy nature. And with our cat Aries, he likes to be with us, he doesn't
like us to leave him alone, he doesn't want to be left with other people - we've
tried that - and so this is perfect. He's loving it. He's got a litter box,
it's a dome litter box, which Rob and the team designed, which is really cool
because it folds up so you can clean it. It's got a little door for him
to get in. It's secure so it won't go sliding. Underneath the bed there's a little area
for him to hang out. This morning he just sat there looking out
the window, we were at a nice state park and he just looking...
We've got two camping chairs and bikes. We did not want a rack on the back because
that's just advertising, and there are thefts involved that we've known
depending upon where you are. So we wanted a place. Rob came up with this
fantastic design for the pullout shelf, it holds 500 pounds. It's got a neat little
latch on it. Full extension's about four feet which still leaves us a little more
up front to store things from the inside. For us being in our mid 60's and
moving on, the convenience of just pulling it out. You'll be able to store
your things there, instead of having to reach way underneath and get things if
you them way packed in. To have it totally slide out where you can pick what you
need and then slide it back. Opening the two back doors and the things that you
can't see. Once we started exploring all those things that are
hidden, all the operating features. Your delicate stuff is encased in all
your operating systems in there, so they're well covered and yet they have
access in case something comes about where you have access panels to
get into them, that you can't see unless you you're right there on top of it.
And the different cavities that were all finished out to perfection;
You look at it and it's just amazing of that type of fit and
finish and regard for the client and what they totally do to all their units
to just make it as picture-perfect as they can - top to bottom this has just been an amazing experience.
"Infinity" kind of just encompassed why we were doing this because the possibilities are endless.
You know, kind of go where the road takes you, where your heart takes you.
Getting anywhere you want and it doesn't matter when you get there, and if you
love it you stay, if you don't you move on - there's nothing holding us back now.
Seeing what they did here and getting her cleaned up it was just meant to be for us.
Like us now being retired, "Infinity" being retired and we all enjoying our
next chapter all together. Because she's gonna be our bubble our
capsule to birth us into all these new experiences and there's so many that, the
family members we haven't met yet, as we have met here at Advanced RV, it
was just total family from the beginning. Everyone here has just been just unbelievable.
It's just awesome to talk to like-minded people and share your ideas and that's been great.
It's almost like an immediate connection. Everyone at ARV came up to us and said,
"There's a lot of things that we really had to think about", which is great.
This is how this company progresses, and they've always been in tune to that.
Mike was very adamant about that when him and Marsha got started -
Taking something and asking, "How can we do it better?" And from what we've seen in the
years they've been doing it is, they're just following that to the T just to
make everything better for past clients and clients to come and it's been wonderful.

we've created are artificial. and so I find a lot of inspiration in
archaeological finds and archaeological digs. And sometimes it's the art,
sometimes it's the actual people or the fragments
that have been found, sometimes it's the land around the archaeological dig. I
have a Terrain Collection that is inspired by that. So what I'm gonna do is
I am going to offer one of three things. I'm going to offer, I'm going to give you
a choice between three things. The first item is this necklace here. This is my
Large Stampede necklace, and somebody specifically requested that I offer this
as one of the options. It has a coin on it that I have designed that is based on
the drawings in the Lascaux caves. And the Lascaux caves are in France, and the
drawings are 17,000 years old. 17,000 years ago we were drawing robust figures.
These were far far from stick figures. They were very robust, and they had depth
and perspective. They are also huge. They are giant paintings. They are just
spectacular. And my Stampede this Large Stampede necklace brings together some
of the drawings on the cave. And I don't know if you can see it here. I might put
a picture up. There are several animals. There's there's one horse here that's a
little hidden. If you don't know it's there, you might not catch that it's
there. But this is one of my favorite pieces. I wear it you'll see me wear it a

that we get to see at the Heinz History Museum yeah the space capsule came very

we got to go see it and waited for over a year

did a little research and found out a little bit about the Oviatt place is
haunted yep we're going we going anyway yeah but made it even
better you know going through the museum but we've been to Canaveral twice
together and I went with my family a couple of times as well okay I think I
went one other time without you so three times for me that several times we've
been there all the different tours and everything you take awesome place if
you've never been there we've had we even had lunch with an astronaut
Maryann's met several astronauts that's right I have my picture taken with them
got their autographs I'm a big groupie when it comes to space
nyancy people and serial killers I guess
we've been up to the NASA Glenn facility up in Cleveland a couple times I think
that's where you met most of the true and a Mission Control guy and she also
got a little souvenir up there so in case you guys haven't noticed our sets a
little different the little ghost is missing back here this is actually what
resides underneath the ghost yes normally that sits underneath Glenn that
goes I'm going to talk about this here in a second okay so the Apollo 11 why
was that so important that was the mission that put the first man on the
moon it's a Neil Armstrong I think when they
said there's gonna be a Pittsburgh yes we have to go see the capsule not just a
capsule but all the memorabilia and all that kind of other stuff associated with
it so Neil Armstrong Buzz Aldrin and Collins was his first name don't
remember Michael Michael Collins there we go
the three men that were on Apollo 11 mission of course Neil Armstrong was the
first man on the moon second man on the moon was Buzz Aldrin
mm-hmm okay Buzz Aldrin also flew the Eagle from the
council capsule down to the moon and takeoff which I'm going to bring you
back attention to this suit this is signed by Buzz Aldrin yeah
it's a thing for groupies you have a spacesuit signed by Buzz Aldrin that
sits back here and every one of our videos and you guys didn't know it
that's right it was the souvenir that he mentioned I brought home I went to a
it's on me about my guitar souvenir or even I went to a memorabilia sale up in
Cleveland and they happen to have this company that was there that had been
selling the apollo replica spacesuits that they made i believe for a Apollo 13
movie they were the company that made them and they had some that they had
signed by some of the astronauts and so if it's at NASA and they're saying yeah
it's these are authentic you better believe I'm going home with
one and I sure did so I picked ice Aldrin they had a couple of others so we
normally put a ghost caution back here you know to dress up the set number one
but number two they kind of protect that through the little bits that's right I
gotta protect that so to to the video for today this was a long introduction
but I'm excited about this okay you're gonna actually see the Apollo 11 that we
get to visit in Pittsburgh at the Heinz History Museum so take a look at this

just big up against the Space Shuttle that's true I am so you even get to meet

Apollo program he's unfortunately passed away out but yeah I met him just before
he died it was like a year or so before he died when I met him and he was
actually doing an autograph signing at a local car dealership that's about 15
minutes away from our house and my dad and I went up there and probably most
people were like what yeah so I definitely I got to meet a bunch of
other ones as well but that one was like the closest to home yeah like it was
literally like 15 minutes away yeah that's exciting when they come close to
home we don't have to drive drive or fly yeah yeah so if you've ever met any

Welcome to Ranger Reviews, a webseries where we look at episodes of the tv show, Power
Rangers and then discuss it!
Today, we're exploring the thirty fifth episode of the show Power Rangers Zeo as well
as the one hundred and ninetieth episode overall, titled "Mondo's Last Stand".
We begin this episode at the Youth Center where Adam and Jason are sparring while Kat,
Tanya, and Tommy watch.
Can I just say: I missed having Austin St John on this show for some eye candy.
Got damn.
Then, Tanya acts surprised that Jason is good at fighting like he wasn't a freaking Power
Ranger before.
Rocky shows up, and he asks Tommy if he wants to spar, and Rocky feels let down that Tommy
already agreed to fight with Jason.
Then, Bulk and Skull come in, and they make fun of Rocky because they say he's definitely
being replaced by Jason.
Irony.
Then Rocky sits down, thinking about this.
Meanwhile, Mondo is watching a montage of his creations sucking.
Machina then says it's a shame they didn't have his own battle sense, and he suggests
if you want something done right, do it yourself.
Then, Rocky goes and gets a juice, and he finds Billy.
Billy says how Jason is going to teach him a new kata next, and Bulk and Skull say how
Jason looks so much more attractive than Rocky, poking fun.
I love this.
Also, Stone is there with a client from the Burble Baby Foundation, clearly a pun on the
Gerber Baby thing.
They say that they're looking for the original baby from their ad campaigns, and they say
"he would be a teenager now, and he most likely just moved to this city".
That's oddly vague information.
Rito and Goldar land together on the moon, looking around and then a freaking RV shows
up in front of them, driving up to them.
They contemplate knocking on the door, but then it opens, and it's freaking Rita.
Uh, guess things didn't work out at Master Vile's.
In a clearing, Mondo is about to uncover the Damocles Sword from underground, and Machina
warns that last time he used it, he almost died.
He yells that he's got this now, and he beckons it from the ground, watching it grow.
At the Youth Center, Bulk and Skull think that Jason is the Burble Baby, and they say
that have to make sure, and they need to get his fingerprints.
Then, everyone's communicators go off, and Jason goes to get his towel, knocking his
communicator off.
Also, his communicator has golden straps.
That's a nice touch.
Tommy talks to Zordon, finding out about Mondo doing stuff.
They decide to take the Zeo Jet Cycles because they can't teleport there for plot convenience
reasons.
They then wonder where Jason is, and Rocky says "he's talking to Bulk and Skull.
I guess you want to wait for him".
Nope, not at all.
It's morphin time!
Also, Billy is going back to the Power Chamber.
The Rangers ride around on their bikes, and they're getting fired at the Quadrifighters
from above, and Sprocket heckles them just as they're hit right off of their damn bikes.
Now, they're fighting against the Cogs that have surrounded them, and Tommy tells Rocky
to keep them busy.
He's going to look for Mondo.
Tommy then finds Mondo, telling Zordon about the giant sword.
He rolls down a hill to stop him, but Mondo just disappears.
The Cogs then disappear, and the Rangers regroup.
Tommy tells the others about the sword.
They get back to the Power Chamber, and Tommy thanks Rocky for a good job, for some odd
reason.
Then, they just ignore him, asking Billy about the sword.
They say they have to get in touch with Jason, but they can't because it doesn't seem
like he's wearing it.
Billy says to lock onto it, and teleport it to the Power Chamber.
At the detective agency, Bulk and Skull realize they have Jason's communicator, but it disappears
right in front of them, and they freak out a bit, but then they're just eat baby food?
Whatever, Billy says there's ink on Jason's communicator.
They decide to split up, and they leave, and the door closes on Rocky, which is a really
funny moment.
Rocky is then walking alone in the countryside, and he finds Mondo, Machina, and Sprocket
with the sword, which Mondo uses to make himself grow giant.
Rocky then goes to contact the other Rangers, but then he stops, realizing that this is
his opportunity to prove himself because he doesn't want to be replaced by Jason.
It's morphin' time!
Rocky then calls out his Super Zeo Zord, warping into the cockpit.
He lands in front of Mondo, taking him on one-on-one.
This is a really dumb idea, Rocky.
And of course, Rocky isn't doing great against Mondo, and his Zord also has giant tonfa weapons,
which Mondo cuts in half.
Rocky is then forced to retreat.
Mondo then says that by nightfall, it'll be clear that there's only one power in
the galaxy left now.
Rocky arrives in the Power Chamber, and Alpha says that Mondo is in the city, destroying
things.
Rocky then blames himself because he allowed Mondo to destroy Mondo.
Rocky then says that if he hadn't tried to defeat Mondo alone, he'd never be in
the city.
The others show up, and Jason asks why Rocky would ever do that.
Great question, Jason.
Then, Jason says "you'll have to bring your Super Zeo Zords together to form the
Super Zeo Megazord".
Billy says that they need a part though, and Jason volunteers to go get this part from
the junkyard that Billy accidentally tossed without realizing it.
Also, I like how Tanya just says that it can't be too hard to form the Super Zeo Megazord
if they've done it before with other things.
She's not wrong.
Jason gets a tracker for the part, and it's morphin' time!
The Rangers then just form the Super Zeo Megazord with absolutely zero issue.
What was the point of this?
Whatever, Jason finds the power booster at the junkyard with his tracker, and he gets
ambushed by Cogs.
Billy teleports it in and then he teleports it out back into the Megazord directly.
I guess we just needed a reason to get rid of Jason for this fight, huh?
The Rangers are good to go now, and they're fighting against Mondo one-on-one, and Mondo
warns that they'll never win when he has this big ass sword!
Then, the Rangers just called out two separate sabers.
Also, Jason has defeated the Cogs pretty easily.
Then, the Rangers smash the two sabers together, forming the Super Zeo Zord Saber, using it
to slash Mondo who… just blows up into nothingness.
Uh, yeah, they definitely just killed Mondo.
Then, Machina says how this is happening again, and Sprocket asks if this has happened before,
and Machina says yes, but he'll be back and stronger than ever.
Meanwhile at the Youth Center, Bulk and Skull try to get Jason to show their find, but nope,
they're wrong.
Stone comes in with Ernie and the lady, and they find out that everything was wrong, and
Ernie was the original baby.
Whatever, he's going to make baby food smoothies now, I guess.
Then, Rocky apologizes to everyone for being weird about this, and Tanya exclaims that
Mondo is dead now.
Then, Rocky sas "let's go get a juice!
The new guy is buying!", and everyone laughs.
The end.
Just kidding!
Rita and Zedd see that this happened, and they say that they're going to be coming
for Earth now that Mondo is gone.
Ooh, ominous.
This episode is actually decent, but the Rocky part really could've been amped up a bit
more.
Also, Mondo is just straight up dead now, which is weird to think about.
Rocky being jealous of Jason makes sense, but they never touch on the exact reason as
to why it'd make sense.
I mean, Rocky straight out replaced Jason last time.
How come no one mentioned that AT ALL?
I feel like that's a pretty big sticking point here.
Other than that, I like how they're progressing the overall plot with B-plots that are more
interesting than the A-plots.
It's classic children's television writing, and I really dig it.
So, how will next time showcase Rita and Zedd's triumphant return as the villains?
Maybe it won't at all, but until then, may the power protect you!
