Vinaigre de figue de Barbarie | Recette et bienfaits - Duration: 4:02.

Hello everyone.

Here is how to make prickly pear vinegar.

Clean and purée the prickly pears.

Remove the black areoles with a knife, like this.

Wash the fruits and keep the peel.

Purée the fruit.

Put the pulp in a jar.

The ideal storage temperature range is: 25-30 °C / 77-86 °F.

Cover the jar with a cloth and rubber band to let the gasses escape...

...and prevent bugs from entering.

Since it is winter, I had to store it a little longer.

Here is the result after 2.5 months (temperature: 18-19 °C / 64-66 °F).

Notice the mother of vinegar..

This gelatinous substance.

You can check the pH level with litmus paper.

My vinegar has an acidity level of about 4, so it is ready.

Filter the vinegar.

Betalains give to this vinegar a beautiful color.

It is absolutely delicious.

Prickly pear vinegar has several therapeutic properties.

It is a natural antibiotic and antibacterial agent.

It is a source of malic acid: a powerful detoxifying agent.

If you liked this recipe, support my project on Tipeee. Thanks, until next time!

Angelina falls in love with Toronto's Distillery District – On the go with EF #94 - Duration: 7:08.

Hi guys! I'm still in Toronto and today I'm going to discover the Distillery District.

This district is full of art, hip people, cool restaurants and shops,

and the theme of the art here is love!

All of these big houses behind me used to be a large whiskey distillery,

but nowadays, it's home to hip restaurants, cool bars and boutiques.

It's also a place for art lovers because there are many great outdoor sculptures,

galleries and theatres around the area.

In December, they host the annual Toronto Christmas Market here.

I spotted my first large outdoor sculpture, so let's go check it out.

It kind of looks like something from out of space.

I guess it could be a giant pacifier, at least this part.

I don't think you can climb this. It doesn't look like it's meant for climbing,

but maybe it's a large playground. Who knows?

Okay. The sign actually says "do not climb," so we know it's not a playground. It's a sculpture.

There's supposed to be some kind of a love theme going on with the sculptures,

but I can't really see the love in this thing.

I mean, it's really cool, but I don't really get the theme.

Maybe we'll find some more sculptures that are more love-y.

I like this t-shirt. It says "poutine."

The picture is actually of poutine, which is a Canadian traditional dish,

I guess you could say, or something that you eat a lot here in Canada.

It is French fries, gravy and cheese curds.

It might sound a little strange, but it's actually really tasty. I like it.

Oh look! Some more street art. Now I can definitely see the love theme.

Let's check it out.

I think they're getting married or maybe they just got married.

I hope they get some good pictures. Beautiful!

Let's check out the art.

So, we have one big heart with all these different types of locks.

I think this is a love symbol, kind of locking in your love with each other.

This is really neat - and very romantic.

There are all these different locks that people have written their names on.

Some of them just have the initials on them.

We have the big heart right here and then the letters "love" spelled L-O-V-E.

That's really nice!

I know this guy. Can you guess who it is? It's John Lennon.

It's so nice to walk around here, window shop, look at the different art works and pieces.

I feel like in every window, you find something new.

It's so colourful! Look! It's a huge peace sign. Peace and Love.

It has all these different symbols from different religions, I think.

I like this. This definitely goes with the theme of love.

Speaking of art, I found this really interesting art gallery I want to check out.

Come on.

Here's another huge sculpture. I actually know this one.

It's called I.T. by the artist Michael Christian and it looks like a giant spider.

It has the little red thing up there, which I guess could be the heart.

Heart … love … I totally get the theme there.

However, it kind of looks scary, especially when you're standing right underneath it.

It's like, hello! It's a giant spider!

This is a cool store! It kind of looks like a warehouse.

I want to see what it looks like on the inside.

It smells so good in here. This is my favourite skin care brand.

Face cleanser, some serums…. Wow. Thank you so much!

Today has been really fun, but I'm starting to get super hungry,

so I'm going to head inside and grab something really Canadian.

Let's see. I'm looking for some waffles with maple syrup.

They do have waffles and if there are waffles, I'm sure they have maple syrup.

The maple leaf is really important to the Canadians.

You can see it on the Canadian flag, among other things.

It's definitely a staple here in Canada. Maple syrup is a must.

Thank you so much. I need to take a picture of it.

I'm just going to take a quick picture of this for me. There you go.

Oh my goodness. How amazing does this look?

First of all, and most important, is the maple syrup.

Let's drizzle that on. Yes! Wow. Oh, this looks amazing.

I'm going to try it first with just the maple syrup because it's the best part.

Here we go. A nice big bite with lots of syrup. This proves that we're really in Canada.

Apparently, for being a sweet treat, maple syrup isn't even that unhealthy.

You get full of antioxidants and other nutrients, so it's not really that bad for you.

You can put it on waffles or pancakes, if you prefer pancakes.

That's also really delicious, but I'm a waffle girl.

Today is my last day here in Canada, but I've had so much fun.

Today I've seen some really great artwork.

I want to know, what is your favourite piece of artwork that you've seen?

Please comment below for the chance to win this very Canadian mug

and don't forget to watch the next episode. Bye!

Vignette // 3min Premiere Pro CC Tutorial // Chung Dha - Duration: 3:43.

Hey Filmmakers ChungDha here in this video we're going to teach you how to use vignette

inside of Premiere Pro CC there are a few things you should learn about it and

how to use it onto a color matte and also of course on a normal video so let's start

so first we're going to start with a color matte so a color matte using it

for your background especially for your title or your outro or your intro it's a

little bit dull because it's just one plane fret color you might want to make

it pop out a little bit more using a vignette so inside of your Effects go and

search for lumetri color it's on the video color Corrections and then luma

tree color drag this onto the color matte and now you can actually go into

your Effect control and on the bottom you will find free yet and press this to

drop it down so at the amount this parameter if you drag it to the left it

will darken to the right it will brighten so let's darken it and the next

parameter at the mid point you can make it how far it actually vignettes and the

roundness changed it to more rounder of a circle or more of an ellipse and the

feather is to change how harsh or how soft the vignette is so now that we have

used the vignette on a color matte it makes it look more nicer and more

interesting than just a flat background so now we're going to add a vignette

onto a video clip so this we can either drag it onto the clip itself however

that would make quite a lot of work that you need to drag and drop it on every

clip so the best way to do it is to use an adjustment layer so go to your new

item here and then choose adjustment layer press ok and drag this over top of

your clip and this you can extend over multiple Clips which would make it much

easier instead of having to drag and drop it onto multiple Clips so now we're

going to drag and drop the lumetri color effect onto the adjustment layer

so what the adjustment layer does it can contain quite a lot of effects and what

it will do is use those effect and affect the

clips that is under that adjustm ent layer so now that we have added the lumetri

color we can now add the vignette to it so here we just drag it to the left

and the main thing is you don't want to overly do it so this is too much as you

can see because it does looks like just black corners so you don't want to

overly do it just want to do it until it looks still realistic so every of the

parameters we can adjust and more fredrik just make it a little bit more

interesting so you don't want to overly make it too harsh so now that we have

added the vignette especially with the adjustment layer is also much easier to

toggle it on and off using this I of that layer especially you can see that

adding a vignette does add a little bit to the footage that it doesn't look too

flat and look more interesting than before so that was mainly it how to use

vignette inside of Premiere Pro CC hope you guys found this video quite

interesting if you want see more upcoming videos please hit that

updated when I post a new video thank you guys for watching and I'll see you

Rock Climb Better INSTANTLY - 3 Footwork Tips for Beginners - Duration: 3:03.

When I first started climbing, it didn't take me long to figure out that it's better

to step on footholds with my toes instead of the middle part of my feet.

However, it took me a while to figure out more intricate footwork techniques back in

the days, so here are 3 footwork tips that you definitely don't want to miss.

The first tip is, utilize the inside edge and the outside edge.

The inside edge refers to the inner part of the toes and the outside edge refers to the

outer part of the toes.

Chances are when you first start climbing, you probably step on everything with the inside

edge because that seems to be the most natural way.

Typically the inside edge works great for slabs and vertical walls because you can keep

your body close to the wall, and it's not too tiring for your arms in situations where

you need to bent your arms to make a move because most of your weight is on your feet.

However, when climbing on walls that's more than 90 degrees, it becomes harder to keep

your body towards the wall with the inside edge and bending your arms to hold your weight

becomes very tiring.

If you step on holds with the outside edge, your body will be turned closer towards the

wall, and it's possible to keep your arms straight and hold your weight with your lats

while you make a move.

You will feel less tired since your lats are way stronger than you arms.

You might ask why the outside edge is rarely used in slabs.

it's because your thighs will actually push your body further away from the wall and thus

make it harder to put your weight on your feet.

The second tip is, use the very tips of the toes, neither the inside edge nor the outside

edge, to step on small slippery footholds.

In order to step on small slippery footholds, you have to apply more inward force than downward

force than usual, and it's a lot easier to apply inward force with the tips of the

toes.

You also want to keep your heels as low as possible while stepping with the tips of your

toes.

You might think if I bring my heels up, won't I be a few inches closer to the next target

handhold?

Yes, but that also means it's harder to apply inward force with your heels up.

Hence, it increases the chance of slipping off the hold.

The final tip is, avoid matching feet by utilizing the step through when the footholds aren't

too far apart.

Matching feet takes extra time and even if you match feet with the best technique, you

will still inevitably waste some arm strength during the process.

Most of the time you will be surprised by how easy it is to perform the step through.

In cases where the footholds are far apart and matching feet is required, you can pivot

the toes of one foot and make room for the toes of your other foot to step in.

In cases where the foothold is small and there's no room for the toes of both feet, you will

have to place your toes of the other foot on top of the current toes and then quickly

slide your current toes off for your toes of the other foot to land on the foothold.

Thanks for watching.

Hope you can learn something from the video, and as always, make sure to like and subscribe.

See you in the next video.

Trump says "meaningful" steps need to be taken to lift sanctions, amid hinting more summits.. - Duration: 1:50.

U.S. President Donald Trump has said that he expects to have more summits with North

Korean leader Kim Jong-un even after their meeting in Hanoi next week.

But in the meantime, Trump is calling on Pyeongyang to take "meaningful" steps, if it wants to

see sanctions lifted.

Our Lee Ji-won reports.

U.S. President Donald Trump has again stressed that he and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un

have a "very good relationship," but that sanctions will be in place until more is done.

"The sanctions are on in full.

As you know, I haven't taken sanctions off.

I'd love to be able to, but in order to do that, we have to do something that's meaningful

on the other side."

This comes as President Trump fielded questions from reporters at the White House prior to

his bilateral talks with Austria's Chancellor on Wednesday.

And as if to further lure North Korea into taking that "meaningful" step, President Trump

also reiterated the potential he sees in North Korea's economy.

While stressing that he'll be meeting with Kim Jong-un for two days this time, President

Trump hinted on the likelihood of having more summits with Kim.

"But we've made a lot of progress.

We've made a tremendous amount.

That doesn't mean this is going to be the last meeting, because I don't believe it will.

But we have subjects to discuss which will be very fruitful, I believe."

This comes in line with President Trump saying that he is in no rush over North Korea's denuclearization

on Tuesday.

He said he doesn't have any pressing time schedule and that as long as there is no nuclear

testing, he is in no hurry.

These remarks add to speculation that Trump is trying to lower expectations about the

upcoming summit,... with no complete denuclearization deal reached this time as well.

Some observers suggest the meeting could first settle on a nuclear freeze for now.

Lee Ji-won, Arirang News.

How To Get Rid Of Heartburn In 1 Minute - Duration: 4:20.

If you experience heartburn, you know the feeling well: a slight hiccup, followed by

a burning sensation in your chest and throat.

It may be triggered by the foods you eat, particularly spicy, fatty, or acidic foods.

Or perhaps you have gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a chronic condition with many

potential causes.

Whatever the cause, heartburn is uncomfortable and inconvenient.

In this video we share our top tips to cure heartburn.

Any extra resources or information will be included in the description so make sure to

check it out.

Our first tip is to try to Loosen clothing.

Heartburn happens when the contents of your stomach rise up into your esophagus, where

stomach acids can burn the tissue.

In some cases, you might be having an episode of heartburn because tight clothing is compressing

your stomach.

If that's the case, the first thing to do is loosen your belt — or your pants, dress,

or whatever else is holding you tight.

Our second tip is to Stand up straight.

Your posture can also contribute to heartburn.

If you're sitting or lying down, try standing up.

If you're already standing, try standing up more straightly.

An upright posture puts less pressure on your lower esophageal sphincter (LES).

Your LES is a ring of muscle that helps stop stomach acid from rising into your esophagus.

Our third tip is to Elevate your upper body.

Lying down can make heartburn worse.

When it comes time for bed, adjust your sleeping surface to raise your upper body.

According to the Mayo Clinic, lifting your head with extra pillows isn't usually enough.

Instead, the goal is to elevate your body from the waist up.

If you have an adjustable bed, set it at a suitable angle to provide relief.

If your bed isn't adjustable, you can change the angle of your sleeping surface by using

a wedge pillow.

Our fourth tip is to Mix baking soda with water.

You might have a heartburn remedy at hand in your kitchen without even knowing it.

Baking soda can calm some episodes of heartburn by neutralizing your stomach acid.

To do this, dissolve a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and drink it slowly.

In fact, you should drink everything slowly when you have heartburn.

Our fifth tip is to Try ginger.

Ginger has been used as a folk remedy for heartburn for centuries.

Ginger can help relieve nausea, so some believe it may be worth trying for heartburn, too.

Consider adding grated or diced ginger root to your favorite stir-fry recipes, soups,

and other foods.

To make ginger tea, steep raw ginger root, dried ginger root, or ginger tea bags in boiling

water.

It's probably best to avoid ginger ale, though.

Carbonated beverages are a common heartburn trigger, and most brands of ginger ale are

made with artificial flavoring rather than the real thing.

Our sixth tip is to Take licorice supplements.

Licorice root is another folk remedy that's been used to treat heartburn.

It's believed that it might help increase the mucous coating of your esophageal lining,

which may protect your esophagus from damage caused by stomach acid.

Deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) is a supplement that contains licorice that's been processed

to remove much of its glycyrrhizin, a compound that can cause adverse side effects.

Eating too much licorice or DGL may raise your blood pressure, lower your potassium

levels, and interfere with certain medications.

Always talk to your doctor before taking licorice or DGL supplements.

Our seventh tip is to Sip apple cider vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar is another home remedy that some people use to treat heartburn, believing

that it may neutralize stomach acid.

One researcher suggested that drinking diluted apple cider vinegar after a meal may help

alleviate heartburn for some people.

However, these effects didn't reach the level of statistical significance so more

research is needed.

If you decide to try this remedy, dilute the apple cider vinegar with water and drink it

after your meal.

Our seventh tip is to Chew gum.

According to 2014 research, chewing gum for half an hour after meals may also help reduce

heartburn.

Chewing gum stimulates saliva production and swallowing.

This might help dilute and clear stomach acid from your esophagus.

Our final tip is to Avoid cigarette smoke.

You probably already know that smoking is bad for your health.

But did you know that smoking can contribute to heartburn?

If you're a smoker and you get an attack of heartburn, don't light up.

Smoking might be a go-to coping strategy when you're uncomfortable, but it's not going

to make that burning feeling go away.

So that sums up our top tips for curing heartburn.

idioms 101 - the teacher's pet - Duration: 1:37.

Hey everyone! Wojtek here. When I was in high school, there was this girl that

would always have the best marks and therefore have the teachers favor all

the time. She was the teacher's pet. Now animals aren't allowed in school, so I'm

not talking about a cat ,a dog or a hamster. When someone is the teacher's

pet, they are their favorite student. So they might get some special

treatment from the teacher. Please note, that this is not a compliment in any way

shape or form. The term surfaced around the schoolyard in the late 1800s and was

used as an insult by kids because it implies that the person is on the

teachers side, not with the rest of the children. Some examples of the teacher's

pet being used in context are... Sarah is the teacher's pet, that's why she always

sits at the front of the class. or... Ask Tom. He's a teacher's pet so he must know

the answer. Remember, the next time someone says someone is a teacher's pet,

they are talking about them being the teachers favorite student. If you'd like

to practice using this idiom, tell us who was the teacher's pet in your class

while you were going to school in the comment section below.

That's all for today. If you've enjoyed this video and would like to see more,

like, share, subscribe. Until next time, keep on language learning.
