. It is called Bong Lai Thuong temple. The second Bong Lai temple is located in Cao Phong, Hoa Binh (called Bong Lai Thuong Cao Phong temple) ) is associated with the legend about her death and becoming a saint.

. In the anti-superstition movement after the liberation of the French

olonial empire, the temple was knocked down, leaving only incenses and an ordinance.

Other offerings and ordinances were burnt and lost. Later, citizens secretly set up a small shrine to continue worshiping her (along with the remaining incense).

). However, the shrine was removed by the local authority in vain. In 2006, when .

the government approved of the freedom of religion, the association of the elderly decided to invite a manager to preside over the restoration of the shrine.

The current temple is the merit of many people including the citizens, the manager of the temple and the guests

The temple is associated with many tales from the ancient time to now.

We still have some legends about the strange things that have been spreaded throughout the area.

In the anti-superstition movement (in the sixties of the 20th century) when the temple was destroyed,

there was a family of 11 children (1 youngest son) who accidentally cut down a tree in the back of the temple to use it as firewood.

After cutting down, the youngest son fell sick. The family brought him to hospital, yet it was too late.

He passed away. The people here thought that the family was punished by Co Doi.

The story of Elliot Rodger (Retribution guy) (Supreme Gentleman) - Duration: 10:51.

The story of Elliot Rodger

This is a real story about his life and why he was complaining about the girlfriend?

Elliot Rodger was born (7/24/1991) in London hospital he was grown in the rich family. His father (Peter Rodger) was a film detector and his mother (Li Chin Rodger) was a doctor. Elliot Rodger had a normal childhood and he loved things so much also he was really happy.

At age of 10, his parents got divorced and he felt really depressed because this changed his life forever. Peter got remarried but with stupid Moroccan Muslim woman called Somaya Akaaboune. After this Elliot's mental health started to be weaker because Elliot didn't like Somaya because it wasn't fair that she was not his real mother

Elliot had Autism / Asperger, depression, psychopathy and paranoia. When Elliot started to grow up he started to argue more with his stepmother. One hacker (a cruel society) hacked Elliot's email account and saw the messages about arguing.

One day Somaya decided to go to Morocco and send Elliot with her but Elliot didn't want to go because Somaya was Elliot's worst nightmare but he got forced, when they went to Morocco Elliot hated to be there,

he cried and emailed to his mother that he hates to be in Morocco and he wants to go home as fast as possible so Elliot's father decided to send him back to home, he couldn't stand to be there with, Somaya staid but when Somaya arrived in the USA got really pissed off and started to hate him also she didn't want to see Elliot anymore.

Elliot grew with the suffering of loneliness, family problems and finding some love because no one loved him and he left struggling with hate. In his manifesto, he said that he got bullied because of his look and behavior. In school, he got bullied more by girls than boys because of his hatred towards women.

Elliot was half British and half Malaysian (Half white and half Asian). In his manifesto, he tells that when he aged 19 he joined one game because he was worried about sex. He searched a couple times about how to get a girlfriend from Yahoo but the search ratio was low and he asked the same question many times.

Elliot was planning "The day of retribution" since 2012 because he wanted to revenge Somaya, he searched about guns the year before the Isla Vista massacre (2014). In reality, Elliot wanted to kill Somaya Akaaboune because she was driving him crazy (Calling names, Hated him, arguing,

fighting and didn't give sorry) and Jazz because Elliot thought that Jazz will get better chances to get a social life, sex, and love. Years later Elliot apologized Somaya way that he was acting but Somaya said that it was too late and she didn't care

Elliot made YouTube videos because he wanted people to understand him, first, he made some simple video (About driving and once he made about the plane)

and then he made a video that why he can't get a girlfriend and he was lonely. The real reason was that he was unhappy about everything but he was complaining of hate, loneliness and why people didn't understand him. Especially seeing the young couple was driving him crazy.

He wanted to have one person who will love him because he was not loved by his family. His father said that if he would it get a girlfriend he wouldn't be happy because he was unhappy about everything.

His father loved but didn't care so much about him because he was busy, but Somaya tried to make Peter hate Elliot only who was respecting him was his grandmother (Jinx Rodger).

Once Elliot made one video where he was filming young couple and he was crying and same time angry that why he can't be in paradise and said some things that were not right.

Once Elliot went to a restaurant and saw a young couple kissing that made him crazy and he threw Pepsi on their head.

A second time he saw other young couple and threw hot chocolate on couple's head.

In one video (Before his retribution video) he was talking that he came to the golf course because he wanted to escape from seeing young couples walking in streets and he was also talking that he couldn't stand his life because he didn't have any love and it seemed that he was suicidal.

Elliot had some guests and in eating time he was thinking about socializing with girls and he started to cry once he said that he wants to kill himself.

In the final video he made video called "Elliot Rodgers retribution" and he said that he will go to Isla Vista to shoot everyone that he will see because it was unfair to him that he couldn't socialize

and was really torturing to see people with love because no one loved him and when night comes Elliot drove to Isla Vista and started shooting and once he knocked a door

in sorority house but no one answered so he continued shooting and once there was one biker and he drove over his head, once he stabbed a knife.

Peter Rodger was some place or his home and in television was coming the news that there is shooting going in Isla Vista and he started to be terrified but he didn't know that his son was murdering,

he thought that it was someone else but they were reporting about black BMW car and his father started to run because he was getting scared that his son was murdering, he started to call to police that who murders but there was no information.

In Isla Vista police shoot Elliot and the bulled hit his arm and he crashed to black Jeep and he shot himself into his head because he didn't want to go to jail and death row to suffer.

When Elliot committed Isla Vista massacre he shot his head and his father was running to Isla Vista to save his son but it was too late because he was dead. When he arrived in Isla Vista police discovered that this was his son from drivers license and his father got crazy.

6 Died (4 males and 2 females) victims parents got really crazy, Christopher Ross Michaels-Martinez's father Richard Martínez screams aggressively in the video that he doesn't want to hear sorry because of this motherfucker Elliot Rodger,

he said that politics should do something with gun control. Peter Rodger spoke front to people and he said the facts about him. In ABC news 2020 interview he said that everything was his fault because he didn't care so much only that he was giving was money.

Jazz Rodger made some film where he says that he got's bullied and people tell that "your brother was a mass murder" even police is much crueler to his family and they had it to move out from California because they couldn't stand hate and Somaya Akaaboune moved back to Morocco.

In Manifesto Elliot wanted to kill Jazz and Somaya because Somaya was driving him crazy and Jazz because he was scared that Jazz will surpass Elliot socializing with girls

Two YouTubers Mumkey Jones and BasedShaman documented Elliot's story that was really interesting. At the end of 2018, Mumkey Jones channel got terminated because of stupid YouTube's rules

[Eng sub] 강아지와 문제견 영상을 같이 봐도 되나요?|강형욱의 소소한 Q&A - Duration: 2:32.

Small Q&A

You can ask whatever you'd like but I can't answer everything: Small Q&A

Is it okay to watch videos about problematic dogs with my own dog?

So happy-

Of course-

Pass me the question~

This is a question sent in by Ye Bin Lim.

I currently have a 9-month-old golden retriever.

TV programs that deal with problematic dogs,

are they okay to watch with my dog?

There are times when he stares intently

at videos of dogs barking or doing other problematic behavior,

I'm worried that he might

follow what they're doing.

Q. Can I watch videos about problematic dogs with my dog? Don't worry too much about it.

(Who's that?) I've heard some dogs will run at the TV

I've heard some dogs will run at the TV

and almost act like they're trying to get inside the TV

(Grr....) because they're that on edge.

But in my opinion,

if a puppy is like that,

(Me??) you can use those TV programs to actually train your dog.

That's the advice I give people.

As you're watching TV,

(Anyone feeling guilty..?) you aren't going to be like "Oh!"

If you stay calm and still,

like 'Oh? That kind of dog is in front of me'

'But I'm okay.' If you show your dogs that,

they'll think, 'Oh, there's a dog there.'

'And even when it's making those sounds, my owner is okay?'

(Looking for your reaction..) 'Oh, we must be okay then?'

It helps them become more brave and resolute.

'But they're so young,' you say.

But...

It's not like it says,

(I can't watch..?) <Dogs under 9 months can't watch this>

(M.. Me neither?) or <Dogs under 24 months can't watch this>.

But if you still feel a bit worried,

we have leashes at home, right?

❤Dog leashes❤

I'm not saying you should put the leash on tightly and train them.

I suggest just keeping the leash on as you sit on your couch or chair,

and watch TV with your dog.

That will help your dog stay calm

and it can be educational for them as well.

Watch lots of videos!

Since there's lots of videos on YouTube.

On BodeumTV...

I think it will help to watch my videos with your dog.

Our channel is suitable for all dogs over the age of 3 months.

I'm sorry...

Enjoy the videos with your dog,

and if your dog is one that gets a little nervous,

then put a leash on them and watch the videos sitting down.

If your dog is extra nervous or on edge,

(Today, we're taking a walk inside the house!) you can walk back and forth inside the house as you watch

and that will help more in the training process.

BEST LIU SHA BAO IN SINGAPORE | Taste Testers | EP 95 - Duration: 7:55.

Hi guys!

Hi!

Hi!

Oh! Dim sum!

Har gao.

Xiao long bao.

OH MY GOD!

I love dim sum.

Okay, the standard is...

siew mai, har gao and chee cheong fan.

pork rib with the black bean sauce, carrot cake, fried prawn dumpling, spinach dumpling,

Oh and the lotus rice thing. Wah, I always order.

Next time, I go with and then you order and I just eat.

So I always have to end it with liu sha bao.

It's almost like a dessert.

Like a dessert.

Ya.

I only try the one at Swee Choon.

Okay what, the one at Swee Choon is nice.

Canton Paradise.

Oh yes! Canton Paradise.

The one that comes in pigs.

I will poke the butt right,

so it will look like it's shitting out liu sha bao.

Cannot be too sweet.

I feel like I've ever eaten some liu sha bao that they are so sweet right,

it loses the salted egg feeling.

And I like that it is grainy,

because liu sha bao must be grainy one,

you cannot have one nice custard texture,

then, that one not nice already.

Must have enough sauce to flow out,

when you eat.

And cannot be curdled up together,

you know sticky sticky one.

then, the bao outside must be soft,

yet firm enough to hold!

Ooo!

It's orange.

I confirm got eat this before.

Wah! Damn orange.

It's so shiny.

It reminds me of you know Filet-O-Fish bun.

Ohhh, like very smooth right.

It looks like you know Chinese New Years, you want to go visiting.

And, I like that it is very small.

Because if not, it will be very mesy.

I feel people will scold me if they see how I eat.

But normally, I will let the thing come out first.

Because you know when you eat right,

I want to have each piece to have exact amount of sauce.

I can see that it is coming out already.

Like, "Xenia, I am coming out!"

Ohhh! Wahhh! Ooo!

It definitely flow out.

Wah, smells amazing.

I think this sauce is really quite oily,

you can clearly see the separation.

Mmmm.

So the smell of the salted egg is not very strong,

but the taste is very strong.

It's not too coarse

but when you eat right,

there's these very fine grains that linger on top of your tongue.

The salted egg can be a little bit punchier,

right now it's just creamy

and there's not much salted egg yolk taste.

The bao doesn't taste fresh.

To me, I don't think it's amazing.

Xenia: [gasp] Jia Hui: I'm sorry but it didn't blow my mind.

Xenia to bao: Ssh I know it hurts.

But I loooove you!

This one is huge!

Oooooh

It's really very big ah.

Wah I feel like this one will have a lot of sauce.

Damn oily eh, you see, you see.

There's a lot of bun as compared to the filling.

The custard is a very pale yellow.

Wah tastes very different from just now.

Too gao (thick) already the filling.

Maybe, they wanted the filling to be more flavourful

and then to have more bun right, but it doesn't work that way.

Whatever hits your taste buds first is that filling

which is too sweet,

and then you eat the bun and it's damn plain.

Doesn't complement each other well.

Wah but it's damn sweet eh the inside tastes like condensed milk.

But I like this kind of taste la.

Not gonna lie.

I feel like the bun is a little bit dry as well.

So when you bite into it it's not really fluffy, like how baos are like.

Is it Halloween?

Xenia: It's confirm some charcoal salted egg Jia Hui: Yesss, I was thinking charcoal

But it's nice leh I feel that they put in effort.

This one still has grooves.

I have no idea why charcoal and salted egg yolk go so well together.

I don't know if it's just the colour or what.

Katie [singing]: Black and yellow, black and yellow

Ya siaaaa like the bees

Wa eh damn nice eh

I'm hoping the bun tastes different, I mean 'cause grey colour.

Just to show you how much there is.

It's very gooey.

Yah

Like it sticks to the top of your...what is this called...

Your mouth?

Ya it sticks here!

I like this one, I think.

I like this one too, the bao is also quite soft,

The salted egg taste is much stronger.

To me it's okay leh.

I think the flavour profile is nice eh.

It hits sweet and savoury, it's slightly grainy.

For the taste of the custard itself, the taste was a lot more balanced

compared to the previous ones.

But not bad, I feel like the bun quite soft.

It's very fluffy, yet not soggy.

I just wish there was more, like it was bigger.

This is so familiar

I think this dolly paper

makes it feel very homemade, like your ah ma made it, you know.

This looks exactly like the one I get from Swee Choon normally.

But mine bigger than yours.

That means it's handmade ;)

Both: Ooooooh

And because it's so small right, the filling really gao gao (very thick).

Very xiang (fragrant) eh.

Jia Hui: Oooh, yes Xenia: I don't know why but it smells like Chinese New Year.

This is my favourite.

Although you get a lot of zhap (filling) right,

but then like,

too much then I feel like I'm (just) eating this custard.

The salted egg just bam (punches) you, you know.

There's a big grain of salted egg yolk eh.

Ya, it's damn different from the rest.

It's like the person making this bun right, is purposely telling you

Eh I use the real salted egg

don't say I use custard hor

I give you chunks of real salted egg orh

It's very buttery,

very heavy,

but it's more on the savoury side,

there's not much sugar to it.

It has this added taste.

You know the egg roll, the love letter?

It can get quite jelak after a while

but if you like salted egg right,

then you will like this.

I appreciate the bigger grains

because it adds texture

and has a nicer mouthfeel when you eat.

Both: Wow!

It's so cute.

It has sesame seeds on top.

They purposely make it so small that you can finish it in one bite.

Hah!

It's a nice vibrant colour,

The consistency is thick,

and it's not super watery.

It smells like a mantou.

Is this liu sha bao?

Really ah.

The texture is there, a bit of grainy texture

and it's quite velvety and luscious,

but then,

it is not sweet, it is not savoury,

there's no salted egg yolk taste,

there's no milky taste,

it tastes like rice.

Wah this is a very accurate description.

One thing I like about it is

the ratio, the bun to filling ratio.

and that it's very small,

it is convenient to eat, it is not messy at all.

This liu sha bao right,

is like when we are going through our teenage years,

you going through identity crisis,

you don't know who you are,

do I want to be a sesame bun or do I want to be a liu sha bao?

If nothingness had a taste right, this would be it.

Oh no!

Savage.

Wah so competitive one.

Of course lah!

I Eatbook girl eh

Must at least get one correct!

NTUC!

The grey one!

I would imagine it's frozen, right,

so the filling wouldn't be that great,

it wouldn't be grainy,

it would be more custard-y,

smooth and creamy,

like the fake salted egg filling lah.

NTUC

Surprisingly good, yes.

Wah I'm really impressed that NTUC beat Crystal Jade,

beat Tung Lok, beat Victor's Kitchen

and all these have long queues,

especially Victor's Kitchen.

I know it's mainstream, I know it's basic, but

Crystal Jade!

It's popular for a reason lah.

It is very simple, yet delightful lor.

I'm surprised by Yi Dian Xin,

for a coffee shop dim sum place right,

they really made it very gao (thick) eh.

2019 Bookshelf Tour & Rearrange - Duration: 6:39.

Hello friends it's Tamsien from Babbling Books and I'm super excited

because I am finally finally ready to share with you my bookshelves in my new

home. I have lived here for an entire year and I am so sorry that has taken me

this long to get around to filming this video, but life has happened. This is not

the first time I have taken you on a tour of my bookshelves. In fact I have

had at least two of these bookshelf tour videos, which I will link to in the

description box below. If you'd like to check those out

please do, and then come back and watch this one because I think this is the

biggest and the best bookshelf tour yet. If you've watched any of my previous

bookshelf tours you'll know that I am not in the habit of pulling out each

book, reading you the spine and then putting it back in. I just find those

videos really boring. So this tour is just a general overview of the types of

books that I have in each area and why I put them the way that I have put them.

Hopefully you'll enjoy it, hopefully it might inspire you to

rearrange your bookshelf a little bit or perhaps you will bunker down into your

own style of rearranging your bookshelf. So this video is going to be divided into

two parts. The first part is a sort of time-lapse of me assembling my

bookshelves and filling them all up. I've taken photos periodically over the

entire year to give you a sense of how my bookshelves have evolved, when I wasn't

able to actually film this particular video and show you the whole thing in

one go. So the first section will be a time-lapse so you can see all the books

and then the second section is going to be me taking you on a guided journey around

all of my shelves. Which are divided very strictly into unread and read.

Let's get started.

[Music]

So here they are, here are my bookshelves. Now the ceiling in this room is quite

steeply sloped, so my shelves had to be an unusual shape compared to previous

houses. But let's get started. So over here is my unread bookshelf above it I

have this beautiful print of Bast which is from the Neverwear shop. And on top

section here I've got some of my bookmarks and these two stacks here are

in the center and on the right are actually my 30 before 30 unread books.

So these are the books that I'm challenging myself to read before I turn 30 and

there's a link to the blog post that features all of those in the description

box below. This is the rest of my TBR shelf which is getting a little bit out

of control I'll be honest and these books are divided roughly in

alphabetical order. Not perfectly because I did need to make room for some books.

And over here on the floor I have a pile of books I've recently received from

publishers and one that I bought which is The Vegetarian, which will be going on

to my shelves very soon. This narrow bookshelf over here, which we'll start

from the bottom and go up, has all of my coffee table books and then, arranged by

color, some of my non-fiction books.

In this section I have illustrated books, a lot of them are by Neil Gaiman but

some of them are just some old fairy tales. I have my Alice in Wonderland

collection from a few different countries and at the top here I have two

Folio Society books and my collections of children's classics.

In the center I have my Harry Potter collection of which I have so many books

that it had to be spread over two shelves. And then coming down here in the

center I have my YA novels organized by color, because why not. And they spread

over here and down onto this shelf. Second from the bottom here I have all of my

Japanese translated books and actually I have so many that they've spilled over

into a couple of other shelves but I need to do a bit of rearranging. And this

bottom shelf down here is just various classics. Moving over to the final

section. So down here on the bottom shelf

I have sci-fi. And in this shelf I have literary novels, various historical

fiction, a little bit of translated fiction, some thrillers, all kind of

jumbled in together. Here I have my Neil Gaiman collection

and some fantasy and horror. Moving up I have my vintage red spines, various

different Penguin editions, more Penguins, more Penguins and of course my

fabulous collection of vintage Penguins. This is the only section on the right-hand

side of my bookshelf which is mostly unread. I haven't read all of my vintage

penguins but they just look so nice all together that I couldn't separate them.

So that's it, those are my bookshelves. I'm really happy with how they are, I'm

sure that I'm going to change them as I get new books and I just have new ideas or

inspiration and hopefully if I get a new skylight in here there will be enough

light that I can have my beloved plants back on my shelves. But for now this is

how it is and thank you very much for watching.

ROMA 2-1 BOLOGNA | MOTM interview feat. Angelo Mangiante & Sky Sport | HAT-TRICK | FULL HD - Duration: 2:35.

(So just remember what we talked about, okay...)

So, here we are with today's man of the match.

Before we talk about the game itself, how are you feeling right now?!

Well, of course it's always a special feeling: to have 30,000 here for Roma against Bologna,

- taking nothing away from Bologna, of course.

It feels great and the fans have been brilliant.

There was a lot of tension out there today though...

Yeah, we didn't kill the game off until the final minutes.

We were looking at each other and we knew we had to dig a bit deeper

so we gave it 110% until the end.

Sometimes games go like this though, don't they?

When you have to give everything; blood, sweat, tears.

What was the hardest part about it?

Well, look, I know we say this all the time but I have to say it was the parking.

It was always going to be tricky, but we worked on it all week in training.

Mario set off first, and he kept the spot open for me.

At one point he had to scrap for it with this guy from Flaminio

but we stuck together, stuck to the gameplan and got there in the end.

We finally managed to park and after that it was all a bit easier for us.

It looked like you picked up a knock in there too. That could have been nasty.

How do you feel now?

Look, we're all prepared to go the extra yard when needed.

So, yeah, it's a bit sore right now.

I felt that one, it was a proper chant

but that's a sacrifice I'm more than happy to make for the team.

Will you be fit in time for the next game?

I think so, yes. It's nothing serious.

Just a sore shoulder.

Anything for the team, you know that.

And finally, one last question...

After those three "Daje!" you shouted today,

will you be taking the match-seat home with you?

Look, it's always great to be able to take this home after getting three 'Daje' shouts out there.

The team needed them and that's the main thing.

I'd like to dedicate this to everyone who cheers along with me,

roaring the side on.

We have to go now...

Thanks.

Wow, what grit and determination!

That's the stuff real stars are made of.

Back to the studio!

X-Morph: Defense (Switch) Review | Mr. Panda's Reviews - Duration: 5:47.

PANDA

Hello! I'm Alex, also known as Mr. Panda,

and this is my review of X-Morph: Defense for the Nintendo Switch!

The setting is Earth.

Aliens have crash landed on the planet and are out to harvest the world's resources.

It's up to Earth's strongest militaries to thwart the aliens' attempts

at world domination.

You've probably heard this type of story before, but X-Morph: Defense has a twist:

YOU are the alien, and your mission is to fend off the humans and take over the world!

It's surprising how one role reversal turns everything around.

As the alien force, it's exciting to see your expanding dominion over Earth and hear

the fully voice-acted humans tremble at your might.

Voice of Character: "We're losing this!"

X-Morph: Defense is a blend of two genres: tower defense and shoot 'em up.

In every map, waves of tanks, planes, and other threats approach your harvester core.

Your objective is to protect your core and wipe out all opposing forces.

There are two phases to each wave.

In the first phase, you build towers that automatically fire shots at incoming foes.

By consuming additional resources, you can upgrade towers with specialized weapons, such

as anti-air missiles, lasers, or flamethrowers.

You can set them up wherever you want, but scant resources limit the number of towers.

I appreciated the unlimited time for deliberate planning, as I needed it to consider every

option.

One unexpectedly engaging strategy was walling off enemy paths.

By placing two towers near each other, you can create a laser fence.

Since enemy pathways are always clearly displayed, it's easy to determine the best routes to

close, and the screen conveniently shows you how the paths shift.

Of course, you can't completely prevent enemies from approaching your core, but the

game awkwardly handles the situation by immediately removing your fence if it blocks off the only

remaining path.

I understand that walling off every route would cheapen gameplay, but there's no logical

in-game reason as to why an alien bent on destruction like me

wouldn't want to be unstoppable.

As far as the second phase goes, other tower defense games would normally involve you watching

your towers pick off enemy waves.

In X-Morph: Defense, you don't have the luxury of waiting around and are instead a

part of the action.

In your spaceship, you fly across the field and manually fire your own shots to cover

areas in need of extra protection.

The game transforms into a hardcore twin-stick shooter, with all the thrills of maneuvering

between bullet streams.

Having an active role in the tower defense is empowering.

And as you destroy enemies, you gain more resources.

Mid-battle, you can actually make your ship invisible (dubbed Ghost Mode) and build new

towers as needed.

In addition, you can move towers around at no cost, which creates hectic tension in the

midst of action.

My favorite segments were when the giant mech bosses appeared, which required more focused

strategies and hardcore gunning.

Altogether, the blended gameplay produces chaotic, exhilarating bouts that force players

to balance shooting and building.

Everything happens at a remarkably fast pace with no performance issues or slowdown.

It's not too hard to grasp the gameplay, but the enemy barrages become overwhelming

if you're not well-versed in either genre.

There are different difficulty levels to assist or challenge players.

I found the Normal difficulty quite tough already, especially later in the game when

increasingly frustrating enemy waves approach from all sides.

Easy mode makes it a little too forgiving, completely healing your base core between

each wave.

Gradual upgrades offer the extra firepower necessary to get through the game unscathed.

You earn points through battle to unlock perks such as new spaceship weapons, types of towers,

or core power-ups.

There are about 10-12 upgrades per category – a fair amount to vary gameplay – and

you can transfer your point allocation between any upgrades.

Though once you find a strategy that works (as I did with the incredibly strong lasers),

you could keep that loadout the entire campaign.

Despite X-Morph: Defense's clever concept, its premise wears thin over time.

There are 14 maps, although only nine of them are required to finish the story.

Each stage, lasting at least half an hour each, has about five to seven waves.

By around the fifth stage, I felt like I had seen everything.

The maps, based on real world locations, don't stand out from each other

and have few defining landmarks.

The mazelike, multi-path configurations and layouts are well-designed from a real-time

strategy perspective, but the maps are otherwise generic, merely differing in enemy pathways

and destructible buildings.

An included Survival mode helps increase replayability and variability.

With every wave, you are given random upgrades to choose from.

Your mission is to last as long as possible against endless enemies that follow randomly

generated pathways.

As with the campaign, Survival is fun, but unless you're a hardcore tower defense player

seeking high scores, it gets repetitive.

There are three DLC modes, but unfortunately, they aren't included for free.

One feature strangely absent in the Nintendo Switch version is co-op mode, which is available

in other editions.

Otherwise, the Switch version has no real advantage besides the obvious portability.

Touch screen support would have been accommodating for battle, since it gets frantic fiddling

with the buttons to build towers.

X-Morph: Defense effectively mixes strategic tower defense gameplay with adrenaline-pumping

twin-stick shooting.

The detailed presentation and voice-acting help sell this epic campaign.

And the fact that you get to be the invading alien is a nice change of pace.

It's not for everyone, and unless you love chasing high scores, there's not much to

do after the credits roll.

If you're a fan of either genre or are interested in experiencing a solid combination of the

two gameplay styles, then X-Morph: Defense is an engaging way to take over the world.

I give X-Morph: Defense

a seven out of ten.

Thank you for watching!

or questions in the comments section below!
