From Queen Naija To Will Smith, Who's Your Favorite Social Media Star? | The Trophy Room - Duration: 24:33.

Last year, BET kicked off the Social Awards,

highlighting the biggest influencers and moments

that broke the internet,

producing over 400000 interactions

on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

But this year, it is back and bigger

than ever as the Social Awards takes place on Sunday,

March 3rd at 8:00 p.m.

live to celebrate all of the top influencers, talents,

and moments that happened in 2018.

Right now, we are in what I like to call the Trophy Room

as I'll sit down with my celebrity panel

and we're gone get down to the bottom

of what moments really broke the internet in 2018.

Ready to meet my guests?

We have the legendary Mr. Brian B.

Dot Miller, the one and only Miss Tracy G.

and my guy, the youngest in charge, Mr. Jameer Pond,

and I am Jamila Mustafa.

Alright panel, our first category is best celeb follow.

The nominees are Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Jada Pinkett Smith,

Plies, or Will Smith.

Now, these nominees are celebrities

that offer us a front row seat to their personal lives,

I get a little jealous but I can't stop watching.

Who are you guys rolling with?

A little jealous ...

That was good, that was good.

Yeah.

You know, I'm a fan of Sweet Boy Society

but I gotta say Will Smith, I mean, you know,

to have somebody not here for a long time on social media

and to so ... he mastered it.

He's like a master course teacher

and when he slows down his voice and talks like that,

it makes it seem so much more magnified

like he's giving me a lot of gems.

Shout out to Will, I'm going with Will, check.

And I agree with you though because he just got a Instagram-

He just got it. ... in like 2017,

he shows his personal life,

he shows a little bit of his family's personal life

which I bet they don't like but I find entertaining.

It's hilarious.

And he's a master of reinventing himself and that's a good skill.

Exactly! Which makes him also a great student

because it's funny how we look at him

as like the quintessential teacher,

but the reason why he's killing Instagram

is because he studies what works, what doesn't.

What's an open lane that I can take, okay,

everyone is going off of entertainment,

how can I make it edu-tainment, you know?

Come on, let me pick a gem. Here's a gem for me.

Polish it up, boy, it's worth a lot.

But with that said, I'ma go with his counterpart,

the pocket therapist that is Jada Pinkett Smith.

And the fact that your hubster is also in this category,

I mean, it's gotta go to either or.

The fight is fixed.

Two for one.

The fight is fixed.

Who you got, B. Dot?

I mean, after following you,

Jamila, I think I'm gonna go with ...

I gotta go with Nicki Minaj, man.

Because as a reformed creeper,

her posts are like soft core porn, you know.

You might stare hard enough, you might see a nip slip,

you might see a back shot, I'm just saying.

So it takes me back to my former life

so I'm going with Nicki Minaj.

Okay, got you ... alright.

Whoo! That was intense, now we're gonna get into a category

where we can laugh a little bit.

Oh, let's lighten it up, yeah.

Okay. And our next category is L.M.A.O. the nominees are

Chicklet, I Am Zoie, That Girl Jay Cole, B.

Simone, Yes I'm Pretty Vee.

Now these nominees are the funniest,

the most innovative popular kids on social media

if you could say.

From their skits to their roasting

to even their alter egos

and transforming into different personalities,

these kids are killing the internet.

Who would you say are you laughing your ass off at?

You're my boyfriend!

Okay!

Like those are like my three favorite words of

Instagram like for real, B.

Simone, she was just able to submit herself

off of that type of branding, you know?

That voice, she got so many different celebrities

to do it, obviously Nick

Cannon picked up on all her value

and she's a part of Wild 'N Out.

She's also now gonna have her own show

off of you're my boyfriend, I think it's just called

You're My Boyfriend and it's like what?

I do also like Jay Cole

because she just gives a whole buffet of personality, you know?

One day she's just a snot faced kid,

the next day she's just like a hood nigga that you gone

'bout to be like nah, you know?

So she just gives so many different layers

and so I'm here for it

and I'm also just here for three women

dominating this category, three, three, three!

Why over here? What I do?

Yeah!

Just a friendly reminder.

I'm with you though.

I guess this is the reason why I voted for Chicklet

because I love the dynamic between hm and his girl,

it reminds me of my relationship,

just a little bit less violent, you know?

But I love the way they keep their thing,

their relationship spicy,

they're constantly one-upping each other

and it just feels fun.

It feels like I'm almost in their relationship too.

Yeah. And I like seeing women like get they bully on.

Oh yeah. You know what I mean?

You're aggressive today. She's ... for real.

Yeah, no, I'm getting inspo.

Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Okay. I'm, I'm going with Jay Cole.

I think Jay Cole has had an incredible year

and I think her brand of comedy is so versatile

like you were saying, she could play somebody old

and somebody young like a clip back to back.

And it's just brilliant to me,

like her brilliance is very good and she got a ...

either she got a young old face or a old young face,

but there's something there-

And ain't no Instagram filters. Right.

... it's not a Instagram filter, I don't know what it is-

Sold separately.

... but she's so clever and just like in her approach,

I really think 2019 she really gone take over.

Now one person that is on the list

but we didn't talk about is

Yes I'm Pretty Vee with the follow me,

don't follow me, follow me, the robe, her funny punch lines,

I think she's pretty good.

Also, what do you guys think about I Am Zoie?

I think I Am Zoie is dope,

I mean, what he did as far as taking the kids and kinda

like he's studying that kinda craft

as far as what they're saying,

how to react and then blending it,

I think he's really good at what he does.

But I think that girl Jay Cole, she just got the one up, man.

Yeah. That Halloween skit was kinda funny.

Dawg, yeah!

Alright, okay.

Now, this next category you guys are all wavy,

I mean, come on, look at the swag you're giving me.

We love you already boo.

Where you get this from, huh? This is swaggy right here.

That's a fact, it look like it's my size though.

It's my size though.

That's her size.

I'm returning this tomorrow.

But our next category is Issa Wave.

Now, these nominees are City Girls, Ella Mai,

Her, Lil' Baby, and Queen Naija.

Now, this category really covers the musical artists

and the waves that they've created

whether that's social media, whether that's record sales,

that's really kinda word of mouth

and I think that they're pretty dope.

Who do you think is the waviest of the wave?

Well, I'm the president of the City Boys Fan Club.

Shout out to JT and Yung Miami, I just love their album.

I love Period, I love they're brash,

their brand of unapologetic feminism.

It's the kind of feminism I can get behind, you know?

Okay.

Thick fine woman with some twerk ...

They make no apologies for scamming

and being independent and having your own money,

taking someone else's money.

And I'm like you know what, go ahead girl, do your thing.

So I'm going with the City Girls.

Yeah. And you know what, just to vibe off of that,

they don't need the glance of B.

Dot, we don't need males to feel empowered-

Damn! Shots!

... no, not in a way where I want your absence

like I do appreciate the presence of y'all-

Okay, 'cause I would love to be there, you know.

... but mainly in hip hop like

once you placed a woman in front of a camera,

it's like okay, we need you to be some sexual desire

to satisfy the male appetite.

And for them to do their twerk video,

first of all, we just don't see women in pairs like that

so then they made it like a triplet treat

by adding Cardi B to twerk, that became a huge hit.

We haven't see a music video where girls just wanna have fun

and we dancing and it's not ...

We don't need, you know, dudes around to twerk.

We don't need dudes around to look cute!

We don't need dudes around to like show off,

you know what I'm saying?

So it was a different flavor of self love, so ..

I like that. I was with it, what you think?

I'm definitely going with City Girls as well.

I think City Girls-

Three for three- Hey-

... they better win the award, I mean, come on.

... I hope so 'cause along with that, I mean, you saw

a lot of movements being made. So we saw the free JT movement,

which is like on par with free Meek Mill,

free Tony Yayo back in the day, you know, that was good.

Flute out, which became ...

it should be part of a dictionary at this point-

It's a new verb.

... it's gonna ruin a lot of kids

just like it ruined like Fabolos, I still don't-

Bootlyicious, it's a lot of those ...

That's what I'm saying, bling bling-

All tree 'o dem.

... all tree 'o dem.

Respeck, you know what I'm saying?

So that's on par with that and then you just have like

we're saying, you know, the celebration of women.

This is what Martin Luther King wanted.

Light skin and dark skin, Jew and Gentile, shaking at once.

Amen! Amen!

Amen! Shaking at once ...

You know?

So I think they got the streets on lock right now.

And one person we can't forget about

when we talk about creating waves socially is Queen Naija.

She was able to go from YouTube with one man,

get out of that relationship and start dating the guy

who she did her skits with,

then release music on social media

and actually use that platform

to turn into a huge social star but a huge musician.

That sounds like a Tyler Perry movie right there.

It does.

That's a novel.

That's a dope timeline of consistency,

like her fan base is crazy.

Yeah, I saw it firsthand when she was in Times Square

last summer, she caused a frenzy like it was

N*Sync, Backstreet Boys, you know, in the middle-

Wow. Bring out Carson Daly.

... yeah! You know, in the middle of Times Square.

And that showed like real life interaction,

it's not just confined to YouTube, it's real life.

Yeah. And sometimes you need to prove

that like there has to be proof of Internet concept in a sense

because a lot of these big brands,

it's like okay, we'll give you a little change

because it's cute on Instagram,

but we have to test it out to see

if people will actually leave their homes to see you.

That's a fact.

So we just brought up Queen Naija but also come on,

we got Lil' Baby who had an outstanding year.

Can't forget Baby, man. Yeah.

Baby, you know, from killing it in Atlanta

to having some of the most respected musicians

in the game dub him as being next,

Baby was able to score that

Drake feature, he's doing some really pretty big things

that's he's a young guy who said he didn't even wanna rap.

I know that's making all the real rappers pissed off like

I been wanting this all my life.

All my life, I had to rap!

Yes, it's just one of those moments.

So what's your take on Lil' Baby and also we gotta throw Ella Mai

in that category, similar to Queen Naija,

who got discovered on social media.

See, that's the beauty of Lil' Baby

like whenever he does these features, he owns it man.

He's had two Drake features at this point,

every time he holds his own.

And then he has the Yo Gotti feature,

Put It on a Date, where he kills it.

I mean, that flow is like water. His pH balance is high.

Essential.

... it's essential.

And I think we talk about Lil' Baby and him and Gunna,

what they did with-

Drip Too Hard. ... yeah, their mix tape.

And when you talk about even the term drip.

Like it was out before

but they kinda took it to a different level

so you cannot like take away Baby's success.

Lil' Baby's definitely killing it.

And they've also created a lot of content for the dancers.

Now maybe it wasn't like on this In My Feelings

but like the hardcore choreographers and whatever,

I've just seen on Instagram that explode.

And he's been consistent.

Alright, Ella Mai, from social media,

was it Chris Brown I think that kinda discovered her

and then she signed with what, Mustard?

And then she went ahead and launched,

what's your take on that?

I mean, look. Can we talk about the massive success of Boo'd Up?

Can we!

You can't ... like there was a moment

where you couldn't escape that song if you wanted to,

it was one of the best songs of the year

if not the most memorable song definitely.

And she didn't disappoint with her album,

you know, her album, I know they had the controversy

with her and Jacquees, you know what I'm saying?

Alleged king of R&B.

Alleged, well, that's a different story.

But you can't deny the impact or the content

like she's not a one hit wonder,

she's proven that she's here to stay.

You know what's so ill about her too

is that you don't think that she's British,

like she knows how to mask that accent.

I'm like what?

Fooled you!

Now, you guys know how to really hustle in real life.

You gotta go get to the bags.

But right now, we not talking about real life,

we want to talk about who hustles the hardest

in social media.

Our next category is Social Hustle.

These nominees are the influencers

who turn their social media into real life bags

and were able to transform their followers into dollars,

proving that it's not how you start,

it's how you finish and how many bags you collect along the way.

Yes! That's a fact.

So we have Blame It on Kway, Jay Versace,

Lala Milan, Supa Cent, and Shiggy.

Shiggy is a household digital name.

Like In My Feelings-

That's a strong statement-

No, that ... it's a fact. ... but it's true.

I'm standing tall next to that statement

because we saw white people doing the dance,

Asians doing the dance, this was a United Nations type of mission

with the In My Feelings challenge, you know?

But he still kept it gully, he still kept it Queens.

I just felt like he was

one of the most ubiquitous influencers of 2018.

Ubiquitous, come on word! Yes, SAT.

Did he maximize the moment?

I can spell it too.

You know what, aye, look, I believe you.

You know, I do agree with Shiggy

but I definitely wanna give spotlights to Jay Versace

who like really kinda ... he's taking the social media,

he got a Sprite deal, you know what I'm saying?

He has a show on YouTube

that like a lot of stars have already been on

so he's getting a lot of co-signs.

He's very funny and he's making inspirational content,

he makes dance, like very versatile

so we can't forget that.

But it's very undeniable to talk about social media

impact this year and leave out Shiggy.

I mean, the Drake co-sign, you know,

he does a wonderful Stephen A. Smith impersonation, you know?

The spit is extra juicy, it's right there, you know?

But he's very good and I think people are gonna start

seeing him outside of just the dance challenge,

at least I hope 'cause he's very talented.

Can you come off of that?

Aye, that's the thing.

And that's the challenge right now with Shiggy,

you know, just to piggyback off of everyone's

saying like it's undeniable.

I mean, the guy, he flipped a dance

and then you saw him on Good Morning America,

you saw him at Madison Square Garden

with Drake doing the dance. I mean-

And the video, all up in the video.

... he was all up in the videos, you know.

So he definitely maximized his moment.

But you also gotta give props to a person like Kway, man.

I mean, he's so good at what he's doing

that I forget that that's not him in real life.

But I see him in his regular clothes,

I'm like who's this guy?

And then when I saw him with Janet Jackson,

I'm like okay, this guy's a riot.

Right. And two spin off shows, I mean, he has his own show,

the dating show of him and a character

which really pushed the boundaries here

which is a man dressed as a woman,

wouldn't even really call it trans

with a dating show featuring men.

And then of course the Tyler Perry, his sponsorship deals,

his spin off deals, makeup, and the Janet feature.

Like you can't ... that's a hustle right there.

Not as a hustle, that's also undeniable.

I mean, you got a lot of people out here

that are revolutionizing what the game is and how you arrive.

Yes, but also Supa Cent.

She embodies her name from moving metrics into money

without a co-sign, you know, without a dance, without nudity.

She was able to take her makeup and sell a million

in under an hour, I believe it was.

Under an hour, a million sold without needing Kris Jenner

to put her into position, you know?

But also a lot of these dudes and women,

they make money together.

Like we have really seen how collaboration,

there's strength in numbers literally and figuratively

so they killing it.

It takes a village.

And shout out to Lala, boomerang,

a big show crossing over into serious episodic TV work.

I mean, hey, they are hustling. Shoot.

They are.

You can't deny it.

Let's hope we got our jobs, okay?

They taking ours.

They ain't gone take me from this couch.

Hell no, we won't go.

Now one thing we have to talk about,

I know this is gonna be

one of our toughest discussions and topics

but that is what was the top social moment of 2018?

Now, these are the pop culture moments

that completely broke the internet,

they left us talking then, we're still talking about it.

And they could probably resurface in 2019.

We got Black Panther, Wakanda forever.

We got Beychella, the Drizzy Drake versus Pusha T.,

Who is the King of R&B, and the In My Feelings Challenge.

What was the biggest social moment of 2018?

One?

I'm going with Black Panther. I'm going with Black Panther,

I just think it was such a monumental moment,

everybody came dressed to the nines

in their formal kufis and dashikis,

I mean, fathers were coming back in the home.

It was very beautiful like to see black people mobilize

to give all their money to Marvel Studios

and neither here nor there,

but I think the way everything kinda

just formulated around the movie ...

I mean, people were seeing it three, four, five times-

Yes, I've never done that.

... over a billion dollars worldwide,

nominated for an Oscar,

and we support Chadwick still doing this, this right here.

It's a lot of monumental things that kinda made

this like carry over to even now.

Man, I hate Wakanda.

Oh, please!

Don't talk about Wakanda!

So much fiction on this side.

Listen, we would hate Wakanda.

Y'all love Wakanda more than actual countries in Africa.

I saw people go into the movie- Wakanda's real!

... I seen people go into the movie theater

like it was a day in Kwanzaa like what the hell is going on?

Umoja! Umoja be that ... Umoja.

But listen, when you're talking about moments,

we cannot forget about Beyonce, what she did at Coachella.

I mean- Never, never.

HBCU. Yes, HBCU.

I mean, she reinvented what a concert looks like.

I don't even know who's on the bill this year,

I don't even think it matters.

Ariana Grande though.

Okay ... sounds like something you get from Starbucks.

One of my favorite moments is Drake!

Now, I know that the Soulja Boy moment happened in 2019,

but he was so smart that he waited in 2019 to say

that he had the biggest comeback of 2018

just to be the biggest comeback of 2019.

Who's on first? He's that smart!

Who's on first?

Then he came at Tyga, who arguably,

he really should be on the list

because Tyga arguably had one of the best comebacks.

Nobody survives Jenner Kardashians.

He had a song with Nicki Minaj,

he had another song, I mean, ya boy's hot.

He is.

But not hotter than big Draco. Big Draco right here-

He's steaming.

... we don't know, not one song from-

Tyga's still with Young Money.

... in 2019 but he got a deal.

I think he realized the strategy of appealing

to our eyeballs more than our ears.

That's a fact.

So that's the difference between him and Tyga.

Tyga had great songs, but I'm telling you

there's probably some people don't realize

those great songs were made by Tyga.

But you will always remember those antics came from ...

Big Draco!

Big Draco! What up though!

Very true. That's true.

Next question, I need one name, the King of R&B.

You guys are the music authorities,

you've done your research,

you know music like the back of your hand.

Give it to me, who's the king or kings or R&B?

Kick it off, Jameer.

Alright, well look.

Alright, if we talking about overall king,

my man uncle Stevie Wonder has created timeless classics

time and time and time again

and he's created soundtracks that I like.

My mother candidly told me that I was made

to a Stevie Wonder song and I didn't need to hear that

but, you know, I said, I understand.

Hope it wasn't Part Time Lover.

I hope it wasn't! But it would make sense.

Whoo! Different type of couch for that.

Different type of couch, need to lay down for that.

Them type of couch.

But overall for me, I'ma have to go with Jodici,

I think what they did in the 90's has carried over

even now with R&B stars are looking like hip hop stars

with the tattoos and the leather and, you know, just that appeal.

So I gotta go with Jodici, you know,

so shout out to Jodici.

I really wanna be like Beyonce's the king

and is sonning all of y'all,

but I'll stick to testosterone, Terius Nash, The Dream.

A king who creates kings, a king who also creates queens,

that's how you live forever.

That's very true. B.

Dot, give it to me. You know your music.

Don't make me do it.

Ah, come on now, he shall who remain nameless.

Don't make me do it ... gotta go with Robert Kelly.

But hey, most kings get their heads cut off.

Okay, alright.

Yeah. Jay-Z said that one.

I'ma leave it at that.

Robert Kelly's canceled, you gotta say R.

Kelly, don't say Robert Kelly. We know him as the artist.

Well let me pick it up, 'cause after B.

Dot's it's like gosh, you start thinking about the hits

and you don't want to think about the hits.

You know, I'ma give it to,

now he may not be the most legendary,

but for me I really used to enjoy Maxwell.

Maxwell had a lot of good hits, he was strong,

you know, I could go on for days, but-

You love that song Fortunate, right?

... how'd you know?

R. Kelly wrote it.

Yeah, yeah! And then life got a little bit deep, huh?

And the award for the most not to be trusted goes to ...

Now I have to ask you guys this, right?

We just talked about the biggest moments in 2018

from social to music and a lot more,

but what are your predictions for 2019?

What do you think socially is gonna really take off?

I'm getting saucy.

Let's see, I think men are really gonna embrace

more of these lace front wigs, yeah.

I really think so.

No, I'm with you on that, seriously. You laughing now ...

It's a part of feminism,

like if feminism is equality for both sexes, genders,

however you wanna put it, then you might need to let ...

you know how we borrow our man's like hoodies,

you might need to plop this ...

What?

I'm only saying it's absurd 'cause you got all yours.

Wait until that middle or that front go ...

Yeah. But also like prepared or not,

you might get a sale while you have it.

It's more expensive when you got less.

I think we'll get more in depth with cancel culture

and we'll actually figure out like what does it actually mean

and how to properly apply it

because unfortunately it's gone be

a lot more people going down in 2019.

And I think like this R. Kelly thing is just like the start,

I didn't wanna say the Ignition,

but it's just the Ignition to what the bigger problem is,

which is good but we gone have to figure out

what's gonna happen with all these people

providing maybe soundtracks and movies

and shows to your our lives.

Because part two in a sense,

we have to see how that Michael Jackson documentary is gonna be.

That's supposed to be a bombshell, so ...

Very true. B. Dot, what's your prediction for 2019?

I think we're gonna see more meltdowns on IG Live

and other live services.

And also, I think we're gonna see more bad selfies.

And hopefully we'll see like less gang culture.

I feel like 2018, there was a lot of cautionary tales,

I think the biggest one being Tekashi 6ix9ine

and everything that he's going through.

So hopefully people won't be self-snitching.

Yeah, just be soft.

I hope they were taking notes,

you guys gave a lot of good tips for 2019.

Well thank you so much to my all star panel,

we got the legendary Mr. B.

Dot, we got the one and only Tracy G.

and my guy, the youngest in charge, Jameer Pond.

And I'm Jamila Mustafa and this is the Trophy Room.

Well, there you have it.

How to Make Coffee Creamer | Food 101 | Well Done - Duration: 2:32.

- Coffee creamer is one of my favorite indulgences.

Truth is, it's not just creamer.

You know, it's not just cream.

So, there's all kinds of ingredients on the side.

You know, everything in moderation, right?

But if you're on a health kick,

and you're trying to minimize

ingredients that you can't pronounce,

then I'm gonna show you to make coffee creamer

with two ingredients, right at your home.

Those two ingredients are milk

and sweetened condensed milk.

This is key.

The only ingredients in sweetened condensed milk

are milk and sugar.

So this is nonnegotiable.

You've got to have as sweetened condensed milk

to make your creamer.

You can play around with the milks that you stir with it.

It could be regular milk,

half-and-half, heavy cream.

So in this case, I'm just gonna make a basic vanilla creamer

with just milk and this.

You could mix all of this in a big jar

and just shake it up.

I like to make things more complicated.

I'm using whole milk,

but this is the way you can make things lower in fat.

Use whatever milk you want.

And then you just whisk this together.

I'm just gonna make this vanilla flavored,

and add a couple teaspoons.

That's it, I mean it's super simple.

And it's cheaper than this.

Let's do a little taste test.

Yum.

Still yum.

I actually prefer this.

The way I like to store it

is just in a little dressing bottle,

if you have one, or a mason jar.

You just add it to your coffee.

If you wanted to make this Almond Joy flavor,

which happens to be my sister-in-law's

favorite coffee creamer,

all you would add is coconut extract

and some chocolate syrup to this.

You can also do a non-dairy creamer.

They make a sweetened condensed coconut milk.

I'm gonna add these straight to the bottle,

show you how easy this is.

I'm making a mess, sorry.

I'm gonna keep this non-dairy

and use an almond milk,

'cause this is what I have.

This is unsweetened.

I think I'll make this vanilla flavored.

How easy is this, y'all?

You gotta feel better about homemade coffee creamer.

Do what you wanna do, like I said.

Everything in moderation,

and this stuff is quite delicious,

but look how easy that was

and you can pronounce all the ingredients,

so you have to feel a little bit good about that.

For more great ideas like this,

follow Well Done Food on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook,

and follow me on Instagram,

and I'll tell you how I really feel

about this kind of stuff.

That Seriously just Happened... 😰 | Wario Land | Jaltoid Games - Duration: 13:15.

[Intro Theme]

(Emi) I like the way they die in a fit of stars.

(Emi) I can appreciate that, I love stars a lot.

(Emi) Penis.

(Emi) It's just not, not a penis. (Dalton) Damn it!

(Emi) How did that even happen?

(Dalton) I wasn't paying attention.

(Emi) Well Dalton...

It looks like...

You're not the master I once thought you were.😔

(Emi) I like that a lot.

(Dalton) Oh my god, I hate this.

(Dalton) That enemy is like actually passive

this thing will never kill you.🤣

[Dalton Laughing]

(Dalton) You bump into it, and it dies. Watch.

[Dalton Laughing]

(Emi) WAAAOOOOHHHH!!

(Dalton) It's totally passive!

(Emi) You know what he kind of looks like to me?

(Dalton) What?

(Emi) Do you know who Ray the, the squirrel is?

(Dalton) Ray, the squirrel?

(Emi) It was gonna be like the original buddy

to, um. Mighty the armadillo.

(Emi) Like the first Sonic design.

(Dalton) Oh, I think I've heard of that.

(Emi) Yeah, he just looks like a-

The head of Ray.

(Dalton) Oh my gosh.

(Emi) and that it.

(Emi) ABWABAWABEA

(Dalton) Dude, check him out.

(Emi) *Inhails*

(Emi) ABWABWABWABWAA!

(Emi) Woh.

(Dalton) Dude, that fucking bitch want to kill us. (Emi) That's Kinky.

(Dalton) *Scoffs*

(Dalton) Just kill him, don't even worry about that guy.

(Emi) Ok, I guess it doesn't matter, he's dead.

(Emi) I like the oozing, uh...

People...

uh...

(Emi) Was going to go for the low hanging fruit.

In multiple ways, but.

(Dalton) "I'm multiple ways" (Emi) But decided against it.

[Emi Laughing]

(Emi) It's like cum dude. (Dalton) I- It's like a cave.

(Dalton) No I like it it's g-

(Dalton) This game has a really nice style. (Emi) It does.

(Emi) It really does feel like he like an explorer or something.

(Dalton) Yeah, like.

(Dalton) It's not fast paced. I actually have to take my time with everything.

(Emi) Yeah, it feels more like actually exploring, than like. Getting through levels quickly.

(Dalton) Yeah, like

(Dalton) I'm not encouraged to go at any like, pace.

(Emi) Like a side scrolling explorer.

(Dalton) Also I know you can go down one of those.

(Emi) Do it, try it.

(Dalton) I don't know which one. (Emi) You got a billion lives Dalton.

(Dalton) Oh, you can go down any of them. Never mind.

[Emi Laughing]

(Emi) Well I mean. (Dalton) Just to get a heart.

(Emi) You were right

(Dalton) Yeah, there's a lot of secrets like that sprinkled in.

I only really know the ones in the first world.

(Dalton) I'm not super familiar with the rest of the game.

(Dalton) Like, I've beaten it.

but

(Dalton) I've only ever explored the rest of the game, because I never actually like, myself...

completed all the levels.

(Emi) Mmhm.

(Dalton) Cause it was my brother's game.

(Emi) Ooo.

(Emi) We're they ever angry when you played their games, or their gameboys, or whatever.

(Dalton) Sometimes, not usually. (Emi) Alright, because

(Emi) Me and my sister.

(Emi) We never had gameboys, but we had.. uhhh gameboy colors. (Dalton) Like,

(Dalton) We would borrow eachoter's shit all the time, and it would get annoying.

(Dalton) But like, we usually had enough, stuff.

(Dalton) Where we didn't have to do that usually.

(Emi) My sister would get so pissed.

(Emi) If I played on her Gameboy

(Emi) Or played any of her games, cause we both had a Super Mario, uh Deluxe.

(Dalton) Yeah (Emi) Or whatever it was.

(Emi) and she was a lot further than mine.

(Dalton) WHAT?? Hold on, hold on, hold on.

(Dalton) Emi, before we conti- u-

(Dalton) What do we fucking do here?

(Emi) It doesn't even matter!

(Dalton) I know it doesn't matter

(Dalton) There we go!

(Dalton) We finally got some goddamn money.

(Dalton) Ok, I'm sorry. Continue.

(Emi) She didn't like when I player her fucking version of Mario, because she was further.

(Dalton) ((exactly a thousand))

(Emi) She would just get really mad... then she would tell mom.

(Emi) and mom would really care.

[Dalton Laughing]

(Dalton) Cause then shes like, "It's just a Gameboy" (Emi) I remember she let me play hers.

(Emi) She's like ok, but don't tell Cassey.

(Emi) I'm like, ok. I won't.

(Dalton) Yeaaah.

(Dalton) Shit like that would happen. (Emi) I just wanted to play in the later levels. I wasn't very good, so I couldn't get anywhere

[Dalton Laughing]

(Dalton) Just going for those hearts again.

(Emi) You don't need them!

(Emi) Like, listen. Usually I'm all for collectables, but Dalton.

You already have, Ninty "Nine't" Of them.

(Emi) having a little dancy?

(Emi) Pretty good music, I like it.

🎶

(Emi) I love chiptune music so much!

(Emi) Oh.

He's coming.

(Emi) Dalton he's coming

(Emi) oh.

(Emi) Oh.

(Emi) Is that supposed to be lava?

(Dalton) Oh, that's so annoying.

(Dalton) Yeah, that's like lava. (Emi) Mmmm.

(Emi) I like his faces. (Dalton) Ok, these are annoying.

(Emi) Woh, those are so rad!

(Dalton) Yeah. (Emi) Oh dude!

(Emi) The enemies are so different. (Dalton) I know, like-

(Dalton) I- I don't know how they didn't keep up with this style. Like.

(Dalton) And also like, for the gameboy, it's like, really fitting. (Emi) I like it.

(Dalton) No, get it. Get it!

(Emi) Well now what?

(Dalton) Aw, damn it.

(Dalton) I thought maybe I could like, do some like, crazy trick shit there. [Emi Laughing]

(Dalton) Oh no, this is annoying when you don't have the power-up.

(Dalton) Cause like. (Emi) Oh God.

(Emi) Oh god. (Dalton) Yeah, it's like you barely make it.

(Emi) Oooooh no!

(Dalton) You ready for the freaky part?

(Dalton) Climbing up the latter and watching it creep up behind you. Oh, no...

I always remember that being-

This like.

(Dalton) This part would panic me as a kid.

(Emi) Looks like you're going fast enough

[Emi Laughing]

(Dalton) He looks [Dalton Laughing]

(Emi) Eeeeh! 😏

(Dalton) Maaah!😏 (Emi) Meeeh! 😏

(Emi) Ba, bah, baah!😏

(Dalton) Alright, let's try this again.

(Emi) I like his pointy shoes.

(Emi) Attention to detail, but yeah!

(Emi) What we were talking about when we were here before

(Emi) I like the style, a lot.

(Emi) Like, it's a lot more like, ummm...

(Emi) Cartoony? But like (Dalton) Yeah.

(Emi) That influence cartoony, you know?

(Dalton) Yeah it's not like.

(Emi) Like old, it's like retro, or something. (Dalton) They weren't setting out to make this (i don't think) in like a certain "style."

(Dalton) Damn it, I did it a Fff-

(Dalton) You know what, I'm not going for it.

(Dalton) Fuck, that gonna r- really suck coming up here.

(Emi) Those guys are so cute.

(Emi) And like these blocks, they have really cute faces.

(Emi) Even that, um, whatever. He's kind of like a thwomp.

Er? Whatever those are called.

🎶

(Emi) They all just have good F- aahhhh... ohno.

(Dalton) Yeah, this part is the worst part like that. (Emi) Ooolululululu.

(Dalton) Yeah.

(Emi) Oh no.

(Dalton) Please be a power-up.

(Dalton) No fuck (Emi) He looks like he's got like a bad itch that he can't reach.

(Emi) Just wait until we see him again.

(Emi) "Err!"

(Emi) "MMmhh"

(Emi) You know?

(Dalton) BYE BYE! BYE!! BUH-BYE!! [Emi Laughing]

🎶

(Dalton) Aaaawww! (Emi) What?

(Dalton) Nooo! (Emi) Oh he got you right in the booty!

(Emi) You know Dalton I was giving you a lot of credit before, but maybe it's too soon.

(Dalton) Wow Emi. [Emi Laughing]

(Dalton) No this is the a- em-

(Dalton) This is like the hardest level... (Emi) Already? (Dalton) In this world.

(Dalton) Yeah, in this world (Emi) Oh. Ok.

(Emi) Ok, I believe you. (Dalton) It's actually very challenging if you don't have power ups.

(Emi) Did they make another one in color.

(Dalton) Yes, they had one- Well not this exact game.

(Dalton) But they have made other like versions. (Emi) A Sequel?

(Dalton) Yup! (Emi) Or, something.

(Dalton) I think this game goes up to like, 4.

(Emi) and then you end up in Ma- in uhh- Wario World.

(Emi) Which is apparently very bad.😔

(Emi) It was on the Gamecube (Dalton) Oh, I remember that.

(Dalton) I've never actually played that. We got it once, and I said that, "I never actually played this." [Emi Laughing]

(Dalton) And I never played it. [Emi Laughing]

(Dalton) So I- I-

(Dalton) I didn't have an opportunity before, and then I did, and then I didn't (Emi) So you... didn't..

(Emi) You didn't have to experience the pause screen.

(Dalton) What do you mean?

(Emi) Where he goes...

(Emi) "NYAAA, NYA, NYA, NYAAAA, NYA!" [🎶]

(Emi) Just for like, the entirety of it being paused. (Dalton) Damn it. [🎶]

🎶

(Emi) and if you wait long enough [🎶]

[🎶Nya, nya-nya, nya-nya🎶]

(Emi) Uhh, apparently he says, "sorry" or something, I don't know. [🎶Nya, nya-nya, nya-nya🎶]

(Emi) and it's actually the only part of the game that I remember.

(Emi) I did play it. (Dalton) Yeah, it's.

(Emi) Briefly though. (Dalton) Is it worth it though?

(Emi) No. (Dalton) Like, would you say it's a worthwhile game? (Emi) I mean...

(Emi) Experience it.

(Emi) Experience any game! Ok? (Dalton) Is it like Mario Land?

(Emi) I don't remember Dalton. (Dalton) Because Mario Land is a weird game.

(Emi) No, It- *sigh*

(Dalton) It's so bizarre, I don't remember exactly why is came out so weird.

(Dalton) But it's so bizarre. I think it was either a different developer, or it was a diffrent game at first. (Emi) Mario Land?

(Emi) Which one is that?

(Dalton) It's the one for the Gameboy.

(Emi) I thought you like Mario Land 3

(Dalton) That's this game.🤣

(Emi) Wait Ugh-

(Emi) Uhhh?

(Emi) I'm so confused.😰

(Emi) But it's not this game, I thouht Mario- Maybe it was Mario World 3?

(Emi) Why do they make such bad names? (Dalton) I like. Ok, ok, ok.

(Dalton) They're actually, like-

(Dalton) If you understand why they name them, the way they name them. It's actually really simple.

(Dalton) Mario

Land

(Dalton) Is the portable series (Emi) Uh, huh.

(Dalton) It's on handhelds

(Dalton) Mario World is on consoles.

(Dalton) Home like- (Emi) Has it always been that way?

(Dalton) It has always been that way.

(Dalton) So if- (Emi) Oh.

(Dalton) If something is "Land" it's on a portable console.

(Dalton) If it's "World", It's on a console. (Emi) Is that why they did that?

(Emi) Why though? Why? Why land, and world?

(Dalton) I don't know.😰 (Emi) Why?

(Dalton) Like. ahhh.

(Dalton) It's stupid to have to explain that.

(Dalton) Cause like..

(Dalton) It's so easy, to like, remember once you like, remember that. But it's-

(Dalton) It's still one of those confusing branding things Nintendo does. It's like-

(Dalton) "Yeah, Instead of like making is simple, let's make it creative!"

(Emi) Super...

Mario...

World Wiiu...

(Emi) Deluxe... (Dalton) Fuck Yeah!

(Emi) Two...

Switch...

Rose...

Pink...

Gold...

Peach Baby.

Rosalina.

Galaxy.

Odyssey

(Dalton) Two😏

(Emi) Three?

(Dalton) "U" not "two" "U" [Dalton Laughing]

(Emi) Wiiu, Deluxe, Smash. Super

(Dalton) The Wiiu was the dumbest for any console they've ever come up with.

(Emi) *Sigh*

(Dalton) I don't know how that made it past the boardroom meeting.

(Emi) The Wiiu feel like a weird split in time.

(Dalton) Oh damn, he killed him.

(Emi) Brutal 😍

(Emi) It's so close though?

(Dalton) Oh, I'd love to play some Virtual Boy games. (Emi) Wait.

(Dalton) Oh my god we were at the end.

(Dalton) We were at the goddamn end.

(Dalton) Here we go. You ready for the first boss? (Emi) *BURPS*

(Emi) YEAH!

(Emi) Wow, I'm as disgusting

(Emi) *Sharp Inhale*

(Emi) *Burp*

(Emi) As Wario. hhhhhhhhhaa,

(Dalton) Just so you know, the whole level I thin is themed after the boss. (Emi) Oh, you've gone.

(Dalton) It- It's like

(Dalton) The progression in this game is so satisfying.

(Dalton) Love it! (Emi) You don't need those coins.

(Emi) Ok thank you Jesus

(Dalton) *Exhails*😰 (Emi) Ooooo!😰

(Emi) Murdered!

[Dalton Laughing] (Emi) What was the point? Who set that up?

(Emi) The boss?

(Emi) Yeah that was really gonna work (Dalton) Ahh!

(Dalton) I forgot how this part worked.

[Dalton Laughing] (Emi) Oh.

(Emi) That was close dude.

(Emi) Woh.

(Emi) What was the point of that?

(Dalton) That's a check point (Emi) *Gasps*

(Dalton) Aw these guys. They're like penguins, I think. (Emi) Those are like-

(Emi) Yeah, they're penguins with uh-

[Death Sound]

(Emi) Why are you bullying him?

(Dalton) Why not?

(Emi) What do you mean why not?

(Dalton) Dude, what I'm going to do will blow your mind.

(Dalton) Bam. (Emi) (Emi) Woh!

(Emi) That's a good sound, I like that. (Dalton) Oh, dude.

(Dalton) I- like.

(Dalton) Everything about this game is good. I like, everything.

(Dalton) Maybe like it's pretty challenging? (Emi) A secret.

(Emi) I enjoy a good secret or two.

(Emi) Hey guys! Comment a secret for me. I like secrets. (Dalton) Here's the boss.

(Emi) Woh (Dalton) Oh I figured out a way to cheese this boss.

(Emi) "Chase him" (Dalton) Damn it now theres not.

(Emi) That's very cheesy.

🎶

(Emi) You're dead now dude.

(Dalton) How do- I don't remember how to do it.

(Dalton) Like there's a way to fffff-

just cheese it.

(Dalton) So you don't have to really... is it this?

(Emi) Mmmm, cheesy. 😏

🎶

(Emi) Hello?

(Dalton) Oh, damn it.

(Emi) What even just happened? (Dalton) I attacked him.

(Emi) It looked like...

(Dalton) Yeah, you can attack him. OK! OK!

(Dalton) There is, There is one

(Dalton) Alright watch this. (Emi) I'm watching.

(Emi) and learning.

(Emi) Clap if you believe!

(Dalton) Like look at this guy, he's ready for fucking battle. He wanted to kill me today

(Emi) Just today though.

(Dalton) Ok, you can just get him underneath with this.

(Dalton) I think it's three.

(Dalton) And then, tha- Oh no two that time.

(Dalton) (Emi) Wow.

(Dalton) Yeah.

(Dalton) This thing is really good like when you need to- (Emi) Ooo!

(Dalton) When you need a-

a solid...

(Emi) Wow! (Dalton) There we go!

(Emi) Cheesy!

(Dalton) I don't know if that's like (Emi) Mmmm!

(Dalton) As hard as it was supposed to be?

(Emi) Maybe it was the first boss (Dalton) Woh, I just got flung up in the air. Did you see that?

(Emi) I thought you did that. (Dalton) No, I ju- I don't think I had control over that.

(Emi) Something happened! 😰

(Dalton) I am not gambling with that cash, sorry

(Dalton) 150? Fuck that!

(Emi) Dalton you can just cheat it anyways fuck you.

(Dalton) No, I earned. Ok, it's different!

(Dalton) When you steal the money, and cheat it. It doesn't feel good. When it's 150 of your goddamn hard earned cash, fuck you Emi I'm keeping it.

🎶

(Emi) I really felt the emotion when you said that. Like you broke a little bit.

(Dalton) *Sniff* Yes.

(Emi) "Yes" 😏

(Dalton) You like teapots emi? (Emi) Are those mushrooms?

(Emi) Huh?

(Emi) Teapots? I SURE DO!

(Emi) WOW! (Dalton) Mt.Teapot

🎶

(Emi) Oh, yes!

🎶

(Emi) Yes indeed!

🎶

(Emi) Give me that teapot!

(Emi) MOUNT TEAPOT?!?! oh my gawd...

BT Daily: Living in "Brutal" Times - Duration: 3:19.

[Darris McNeely] Every year in the United States the President delivers what is called

the State of the Union Address before the assembled houses of the Congress.

And this year, that will be done.

As I was thinking about that phrase, the State of the Union, in connection with some of the

headlines that have been making news here in America, I have to come back to the topic

of abortion that seems to be coming back to the top of the list again.

This week, there was a push in the Virginia legislature, the state of Virginia, to pass

a very extreme abortion bill that would allow a doctor to actually take the life of a baby

even up to the full-term or after it is born.

And watching and listening to the description of the lawmakers, the governor of the state

of Virginia explaining exactly how this would be done, I couldn't believe what I was hearing,

that in the United States of America, the land of the free, the land where there is

such a concern for helping people and providing for the underprivileged immigrants and the

dispossessed of the world, we would be pushing legislation to take life after it leaves the

womb of the mother.

Fortunately, the state of Virginia, the legislature killed such a bill in committee, but it'll

probably come back.

In fact, news reports say that there are other states that are pushing extreme abortion bills

that will allow late-term abortions and making it perfectly legal.

As I reported in other Dailys, this is coming about as a result of a fear of overturning

Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision, which legalized abortion in the United States.

That fear is pushing people now to a greater degree of brutality.

That's the only word I can use because it's a word that comes actually from scripture.

In 2 Timothy 3, the Apostle Paul describes what conditions will be like, as he calls

it, in the last days.

2 Timothy 3:1.

It's a description here in verses 1 and 2 of what he says it will be like in the last

days.

And he says it will be perilous times and there are several conditions of human nature

and society that the Apostle Paul lists of not only his world in the first century, but

unfortunately our world in the 21st century.

And in verse 2, he uses the word brutal.

People will be brutal.

I can't think of any better word to describe the desire of legislators in the United States

of America to pass such legislation, such laws that would allow abortion at that stage

and actually take a viable life outside the womb of a mother.

We have entered some very interesting and difficult times in the world and especially

in America.

It is time to pray, thy kingdom come.

That's BT Daily.

Join us next time.

RV Rescue: How Motorhomes Are Blessing Lives After the Paradise Fire - Duration: 2:46.

I have a twin brother who lives in Paradise, and he called me the morning of

November 8th and he said, "We're alright."

And I said, "You're alright? What do you mean?"

He said, "You haven't heard about the fires?"

I said, "No."

So when I get this call,

I'm just shocked. I mean it's like, here's my home town.

I had just been in Paradise

maybe three months before. And so I had driven around town, I'd been to homes

that we had lived in, a lot of these places. and then as I go onto social

media, I start to see these places are on fire, and it is terrifying.

I was looking for ways to help. And so it wasn't, like, the natural thing I would

think of, which also leads me to believe this was inspired. And I had this idea:

get RVs, get travel trailers, do whatever it takes to give people a place to live.

That's when I started searching online through the classifieds, and I started

sorting, going like, "Okay, so what do you look for?"

I had seen these converted buses

and, you know, it's like, "I don't know. I don't know what to buy. I don't know what

to look for." And that's when I had the thought, "Oh, I could call my neighbor and

I'll bet he would know what to do. He runs an RV dealership." And he said,

"Oh, I'll give you a motor home. We've got one that we got as a trade-in."

And he said,

"We'll be glad to give it to you. I don't know what it needs." And he said, "It'd cost

a couple hundred dollars to have my service guys go through it."

Next day he called

and said, "Hey, Barry my guys won't accept money for it. They want to come in after

hours to fix this up themselves."

But since then we've got 15 motor homes and

trailers that have been donated that we've been going through and getting serviced

and ready to haul out there.

This all started really as a thought—and

I believe the Spirit whispers to us—and just the thought was, you know, as you saw

the story, "I wonder if I could do something like that." And just a really simple thing

to act on that impression, and then it has just continued from there.

And I just think that's so important for each of us, is to act on these impressions, on

these feelings as they come to us, and not just slide them aside or feel like,

"Oh there's not much I can do. I'm not famous, I'm not rich, I'm not whatever."

Versus saying, "Well what am I?"

And I am a son of God or a child of God, and I

have things that I can offer, and I was called to be on the earth at this time

to be able to offer these things.

I think He's grateful, proud to have us be His

hands. Not only is it that we're doing His work but we experience the joy that

comes from the privilege of being about His work. And I think He loves that we want to be like Him.

🍑 Tonceitoys │ 10 Años de Aniversario en YouTube - Duration: 19:45.

Oh.. hoho... look at this date!

Now this deserves a video

Hi

It's been a while since I didn't upload anything

So...

This is an excellent opportunity to do it

New content for the channel in its 10th anniversary

I have so much to share

It'll be something... momentarily interesting

And obviously,

It'll be a 'bit' more longer than usual

So, go ahead

Get comfortable ladies and gentlemen

And join me along with this piece of audiovisual content

Behind the name

Indirectly I have done myself a 'voice reveal' in someway

And well, since that's done now

Why not a 'face reveal'?

Back to the point,

the channel's name

Memorable but somewhat confusing

I have encountered many people who thought I only spoke english because of the 'Toys' in the name

Which, I can understand

Personally, to me it sounds like a toy factory name

But not in a strictly Anglo-Saxon way

What I can't understand that much

is how there have been so many people that don't know how to pronounce it correctly

So, here it goes

Pay attention

My nick is pronounced as

Ton - 'Say' - Toys

It's a word stressed on the third-to-last syllable, alright

It makes sense, okay?

None of

Toncéitoys

Toncitoys

Tonquetoys

Tonsextoys?

Really people, it's not that difficult

Or, just call me Alejandro

I like my name

Curious fact,

I was never the original creator of the name 'Tonceitoys'

Its history is somewhat peculiar

and its origin comes from a... mispronounced name

many years ago, by my little brother

I'll tell you how it came to be

For those who watched Disney Channel in the 2000s

you may have seen this movie before

Spy Kids 3!

In this movie there is a scene in which the villain releases some evil little robots

the...

For some reason, that scene of the movie got stuck in my brother's mind

Now, let's travel to the year 2008

during the era of those Flash-made browser games

Ahh... those times...

We both discovered one of this games called

'The Caverns of Hammerfest'

So we created our accounts there

I don't remember how I named mine

I do remember it got hacked after I finished the game

Meanwhile, my brother wanted to name his account 'Tinkertoys'

but since he was so little he got it wrong and wrote 'Tonceitoys'

That's the name's history,

its first internet appearance was in this little game

The first years online

Some time passed by and my brother got bored of the game

and since I didn't have an account anymore

he let me use his, ocassionally

At the last months of 2008 was the time which I started watching videos on YouTube more regularly

but without having an account

One of my favorite channels at the time was Sara94's channel

She made videos mainly about Crash

parodies, remixes and piano covers

Videogames and music

Hmm...

I think her channel's theme was a big inspiration for my own channel

And not only that,

I also was beginning to participate in the forums of

CrashMania.net

an entire website with all related things about Crash Bandicoot!

My favorite videogame character,

since I was 3 years old

I miss those old kinds of forums

this one had a very wholesome community

There were always funny threads,

many people participated regularly

You could visit the forum a few times

and started to recognize their usernames,

their profile pictures,

and in some cases, their signatures below their posts

Everyone writing in english,

sharing artworks and interesting facts about the games or about anything

and I...

I... was the youngest in that forum

I was 13 at that time

Although, that never made me feel intimidated

I learned a lot from those who were older than me

and also they were very nice to me

I was a little one with lots of enthusiasm and desire to learn

They found me very charismatic

Being that way, I remember one of the very first online friends I made thanks to the forum

It was someone who helped and guided me through all this 'online situation'

which was something new for me at the time

This girl used to make Crash artworks with Photoshop

I remember the time that I realized that I had seen some of her works before

Even some years before I was in that forum withouth knowing they were hers

And being there talking with the same person who made them

Oh man...

I felt that same excitement like when you meet a celebrity

I was like:

"Wait, you actually made those?"

"Oh geez! How cool!! I've seen them as a child!"

The forums at the time didn't have a PM system

so she added me to Messenger

not the Facebook one but...

Windows Live Messenger...

Oh man, so old...

I got it installed recently when I was using Windows XP

She was 4 years older than me, so at that age

I felt as she was some kind of master to me and I her apprentice, obviously

even with a somewhat difficult time difference

because she was in Switzerland and me in Peru

She taught me many things which even today I don't forget

like...

how to use Photoshop

what was deviantArt

ocassionally she shared some music with me

and at the same time

I practiced my english through chatting so people could understand me better

She was someone who inspired me a lot about all these artistic things

And consequently, that made me create an account in deviantArt

YouTube came a little later

I used to see that many users had a channel to show how they made their works

or just show them with some background music

I thought:

"Hmm..."

"I should create my own YouTube channel"

"It would help me a lot"

And that's how I started with this channel,

at first I named it after my name in english with some birthday numbers but

I felt it could be more...

...excellent.

So then I remembered my brother's account in Hammerfest

'Tonceitoys'

And yes,

that was much better!

I had the name

now...

I still needed a logo that represents me

I was wondering what could it be...

I remember I already was 14

February, 2009

It was an afternoon, summer vacations with a clear and orange sky when I said

"I could use maybe...

the Wumpa fruit from Crash's games...

mhmm..."

"Yes...

...how about I draw a letter T on it"

Ohhh... now that's SO much better!

So I started to make some doodles in a paper

being lay down in my bed

until I came with an earlier version of my logo

and this was the result

I uploaded it as my profile image

and finally I was starting to feel that I had a trademark of my own, made by me

with that I began to fully use 'Tonceitoys' as my username

For all things related to the world of videogames

and entertainment

Of course,

after the first videos I got so focused on YouTube that I abandoned deviantArt around 2011...

oops...

But...

that's how it was for me when I was a teenager

I tried new things, I put aside others and so on

The inactivity

Oh that's easy,

it happens to all of us

the things in life itself

Take in mind that when I started this channel I was 14

I was still in high school

with lots of free time

except maybe, for homework and exams

That, and inmediatly after I finished school at 16 I got enrolled in university

I studied another 6 years focusing more on that

and also, I discovered new things along the way

like,

playing on Steam,

playing musical instruments,

and some other hobbies,

I kept putting aside making videos more and more

until I completely lost interest

Add to that the procrastination...

inconsistensy...

and some creative blocking and...

that's the result.

I finally graduated from university last December

I'm officialy in my post-university era

So I have much more freedom to organize myself as best suites me

Times to reflect

Making this kind of videos gives me a good opportunity to share some...

personal insights about what it is growing in life

Both the last years of school and university

have been two of the most challenging and the ones who most made me change

the way I see things in life

Oh 2018...

you sure were a very conflictive and weird...

year.

I made all things happen, good and bad, things that I was not expecting to do

I feel like it was a very 'out of character' year for me

Sometimes it really felt like that Blink-182 song,

"Nobody likes you when you're twenty three"

In my case,

let's say that life itself didn't like me that much at that age in so many aspects

It was the 2nd most difficult year of my life

but, having already lived through my 1st worst year of my life at 16

I just, made the decision to do everything I had in my hands to get over it and learn from all that happened

Simply, I continued with the same saying that I told myself years ago

"Keep being loyal to yourself before others and you will soon see that

it will be transmitted and reflected in others"

That made me grow a lot and at the same time,

I came to make possible so many new things that I'm really proud of

About being 23...

Goodbye 23 year old Ale,

I'm 24 now

Putting the age aside,

I can say that,

a year or bad period in our lives

it's not something that completely define us

with regards to how we are as a person,

or how the rest of our lives will be like

On the contrary,

life flows like the waves of moving water

there are moments that make you feel terrible,

others that make you feel happy

thing is that,

no matter how are your actual circunstances are like

or if you wish for them to happen or not

they will happen anyways

and that you can benefit from those bad things that will happen

will depend on your ability to see the message

or lesson in your misfortunes,

and to not let them drag you down completely

Most of the things that make you feel worse,

gradually won't make you feel THAT bad like how it is when it happens on the first time

Well,

unless somebody dies

and about all the good things,

you learn to appreciate them a lot more

Something that motivates me a lot is thinking about

how good of a role model I can be to my '10 years old ago self'

If we would met with each other and I could tell him

all the achievements that he will make,

every challenge he will go through

the life lessons he will eventually learn and also

every mistake he will make

and the ones he will recover from in all those years

I'm sure he would tell me something like:

"Woah,

I did not imagine how much things were going to change

but, you know what Ale from the future,

even though we do not have everything we wanted,

I'm glad to know that, I'll become like you someday

Of course, after he gets over the shock of that situation because,

could you imagine it?

It would be a pretty disturbing thing to occur

I'd be like:

"B-but... wha.. a-are you, are you actually me from the future?!"

"What are you doing here? H-how is this possible???!"

It's so curious when there are still traces of what you once were on the internet and say:

"Ugh, that's how I used to think?"

Sometimes it shocks me to recognize that being an adult in my twenties I can see

my adolescence with another perspective

like a completely different person from who am I now

Even though it isn't a decade that far from that stage

You can tell I've been on this planet far much longer than what I imagined

Although, there are still likes and interests that remain from my adolescence but

priorities and situations in life change with time

Is...

something that creates in me a certain nostalgia

when I think about it

for everything I had to leave behind in those ten years

and at the same time

with a certain satisfaction for what I'm today after going through all the things I experienced in all that time

It's not like I have everything solved in life

nor that I have THAT much experience in life like if I was in my thirties, forties...

But I don't need to let go by so many years

to have a decent perspective of the things

Mainly about knowing what I want from my life

and find out how to make that happen

inside what is in my control, of course

Being in your twenties is the only decade of adulthood

where, biologically speaking,

one keeps growing instead of getting old

So,

it is better to take advantage of this stage as best as possible!

Tonceitoys in the present

Geez, that last section sure was somewhat 'meta',

but now I want to ask the really serious question here,

How the heck do I have that many subscribers if I havent uploaded anything in years??

Really?

Ehh.. I appreciate your patience...

I think..

YouTube from 2009 sure was different

What do you think of this?

When channels had more personality,

oh, and have you seen my Crash gameplay,

recorded in Fraps with 240p quality?

What the..?

Oh you have to take a look a this one,

The channel's first video!

I remember putting all these pics from Google Images

and them added some Crash Tag Team Racing music badly recorded

"I gave you 5, take a look at my channel and listen to my midis"

Ahhh, that's right!

at that time YouTube used a 5 star rating and

oh,

I never listened to his midis

"Thanks"

Thanks?

Who I was trying to respond??

"Sorry for the bad quality"

people really used to be more tolerant about the quality standard of YouTube at that time

I can assure you that whatever I upload now

won't be strictly about Crash videos

Come on, this is the greatness of being a small channel on YouTube

when gaining subs or likes isn't your main priority

not like the YouTube as it is now that basically

its logic has become a wild competition for gaining money,

with ads, Patreon donations, sponsor products,

mindlessly extend videos for more than 10 minutes for the sake of monetizing them better

making clickbait titles and so many other dumb things

sure there are people who make a living with those but

personally my actual priority with the channel is more about a productive hobby

than a mean of generating income

Nothing like being a 'Youtuber' in the full sense of the word

with this I mean

making a living out of this channel

it's not something I want to

The purpose I made this channel,

of this trademark as Tonceitoys

has really changed a lot with time

In essence,

what I'm aiming for is give a good time to whoever is watching me right in this instant with what I share

It's not like I owe you this or that you owe me anything,

At the end of the day, you are unknown people to me

I find funny that typical phrase of:

"Hey YouTube friends!"

You are not my friends!

But that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy making some videos for you

It's more like...

donating things or doing charity work,

I do not know who am I benefiting with doing this

but still,

the fact of making the world a little bit better for others

is what motivates me and makes me happy

Look at it like this...

For those little moments in which you are feeling happy

the less time you'll have in your life feeling sad

and that, I could have the possibility to help with that

Honestly,

it really means a lot to me more than gaining money from my videos or becoming well-known

Also, the quality of my videos will progressively be better

being self-critical with myself,

I know the quality of the audio from my voiceovers wasn't the best in this video

It could be better,

it's the first video like this where I use my voice after all

I suggest you to not wait for frequent uploads,

I'm more about quality over quantity with regards of making videos in general

I'm also planning and I've been doing in a few ocassions some streams

in that website with a purple logo that I'm not sure if should mention it here

Should I?

Ah well, I'm risking it anyways,

If you're interested in games like Team Fortress 2,

Don't Starve,

Guitar Hero

and some other varieties,

classics and hidden gems of singleplayer

I invite you to check my Twitch channel

And to watch it for as long as you like and can

I don't have a fixed schedule exactly

But, that's what my Facebook page is for

with it I think of sharing things that won't be on YouTube or Twitch

like behind the scenes, announcements for streams and events,

among other... extra bonuses

And taking advantage of the anniversary of the channel

I have created 2 new secondary channels,

Tonceitoys 2, for everything related to music and things outside of videogames,

and...

Tonceitoys 3, for all things related to archive my streams

So,

you have at your disposal

the 3 Tonceitoys YouTube Channels

plus the Tonceitoys Twitch Channel,

plus the Tonceitoys Fanpage

the complete collection,

all... in one place

in the description below

And so, you've reached the end of this video

congratulations

well,

that was everything I wanted to say

Thank you all for your time and attention

Until next time

If there will be a next time...

Will there be?

Maybe... I could upload

in a few weeks or..

maybe next month..

or next year

..two years?

five years?!

I don't know, you'd never know

Alright, I'll stop joking with you

Goodbye.
