That i've found and I think that this website

Is so usefull / essential for all instagramers with a business

When you are on IG one of the 1st thing people will see Is your bio

It's the first thing a client or a (potential) follower will see

So the bio is really important

I will make another video about this if you love This type of content

we're going to talk about the links that you can put In your bio

This link can help you get some clients

On your online shop if you sell clothes for example

Or on your video if you're a Youtuber like me

But the problem with Instagram and other social medias

Is that we can put only one link !

So we constantly change the link #Annoying

So we choose if we're a businessman / businesswoman Between put the link to sell our book

OR the link of our blog for example

So (finally) the website is called linktr.ee

What is interesting with this website is that I mean this site is a little pearl

A lot of influencers use it

Now you don't have to choose between all your links !

The problem is now solved (yeah!)

You just need to sing in with your intagram account

But it's the free version

Yeah you have the paid and free version (don't worry)

I'm going to talk about this after

In the free version you can only connect one IG account

But you can just use another web browser (#BgJimyTricks)

And you will be abled to connect how many accounts you want

After all of this sign in session

You can add a title for your link

What I've found super interesting with this site

And when someone will click on this link in your bio

Where all your links will be !

So it's really interesting as you can see

And like have said

There is a paid version of this service

This site is free of course but there is some little bonuses

For about $6/ month

It looks cheap but just for those bonuses

I don't think it's worth it to pay for that

So I don't reccomand to purchase this

But I will still let you know what you can expect from this purchase

You can change the appearance of the page where your clients or followers will be redirected

But there is predefined appearences for free

And I think that they are really great

But if you have a brand and realy want to get a specific look

You can purcharse it (I've said buy the free version #NoSense haha)

For $6/month

After that you will be abled to Choose the color, the style of the button, change the title of the page

Because the title is your instagram username (in the free version)

You will also see day by day how many people had click on you links

You can already see "this" in the free version

But only the total number of people

And not how many has clicked day by day

It will cost you $216 for 3 years and $72 for 1 year

For me (small business) it's not worth it just for those little bonuses

But you might be interested

So to make it clear

hello hello hello my scrappy friends

It's Danie here

coming to you with another Scrap Your Stash Process Video!

And today's layout is a wedding layout

this is also a layout that I am redoing

that I previously done

If you follow me on Scrapbook.com,

you probably saw it out there

You might've even seen a video

out there for this layout (but)

or this picture in general

but, I didn't care for it, so

it's nowhere to be found

not unless you're a tech guru and you can find deleted stuff

(laughter)

but anyway,

I am working with the Gather collection today

I'm using the pattern paper that I never thought I would purchase

well this pattern paper is the pink ballet on one side

and then on the back side it's black and white musical notes

well I bought the musical notes because I bought it because it's black musical notes

but I said you know what let me go ahead and try to use the pink side

because I don't do much for myself you know I'm saying I'm the only girl in the

household and I never ever ever just buy pattern papers for myself

so this year (and in the in the last year)

I just decided you know what

I'm just going to splurge out on myself

if I have to take pictures of myself

or scrap photos of just me

it's okay

so it's all good

so anyway I started using

I just used the tearing technique

and I tore off two pieces (technically four pieces)

two pink pieces and two black pieces

and put them on the sides instead of top and bottom as you

as you just seen I was given thumbs down to the ephemera I was pulling off of my desk

'cause you know I'm working with the ephemera I have on my desk

and it didn't work for this layout

because this layout is really mute

I should say...

The colors are muted

so I decided that I was going to go on my computer and

and print out all the corresponding ephemera

that would go along with this

so I printed out a lot the muted florals that they had in the Gather collection

along with a little bit of the like blush pinks that were in the Bloom collection

so that is what you'll see me working with ephemera wise on this layout today

so I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do

because I know I had that that pink floral on the left side

but if you paid attention you

know I layer all around my photo

so I had to figure out what I was going to do

and yeah so now I'm finally figuring out and because I had that older layout

I had some marks on the photo because I didn't really want to go back and print it out

since our I had the layers and it adhered so I just decided to find

something that would cover up all the adhesive that was left behind

that made the picture look raggedy

excuse me I'm getting a little horse

but anyway

so I decided that I was going to pull out the best that ephemera that said "BEST DAY"

of course it was my wedding day so that's one of the best days of my life

so I went ahead and pulled that out and I did pull out this I guess it's like a name

tag or a tab but it doesn't make it only because I'm a goofball and I don't know

how to stamp so I don't think you even see that on I don't think I save that

but I finally was able to use these swans so I pulled out a white one and a pink one

just to correspond me and my husband but yeah I'm just playing around with

everything and seeing where I want to put everything on the layout

I do use the bow

everything that I'm laying on here I generally use

I don't think I pull anything off other than the tab

that's at the top left of the layout

so I'm gonna go ahead and adhere that best day

then I'm going to work with positioning

my tab underneath there because if you know me I always put a little a little

label underneath that

so I maneuvered that "BEST DAY" just a little bit

so the tab is seen and now I'm just going ahead and adhering

my swans to the back

and it's so funny because you know I work on my

layouts before I start doing everything

so you don't have to see me fussy cut

anything but I can never get it like I originally had it before

I think I need to start taking pictures of what I do before I keep pushing forward

or beforeI just dump everything off my layout

so I'm gonna go ahead and add some craft foam

behind that ribbon that I had sitting on top of that "XO" ticket

and I should already have some craft foam behind that ticket so [I'mma] go ahead and

adhere everything to the background

so that is basically the layout of everything

so isn't it so pretty?

I don't get to do pretty layouts

I really think it's so pretty

so I decided to bring out some of that black and that monotone

with the layout so I have this marble heart and then I pull out this gold heart

I love the colors (the golds) in this collection

so I'll pull that out

but I also because I wanted to know the floral on this layout

and I wanted another title on this layout

I decided to print out that other the other

blush floral that's in the collection

and I cut out a portion of the stem (not all of the stem)

because it's going to get covered

and I'm just going to adhere it

and then I'm going to put a title on top of it

and I think this is what ties the

whole or pulls the whole layout together

it's I just love this layout

and there's not a lot going on in this layout

as you can see it doesn't really take me that

long even in real time it didn't even take me that long but

it took me more time to just fussy cut everything then actually put the the layout together

so I think I'm set in my ways on everything on this layout

so I'm gonna go ahead and here every other piece

like I said it should cut out right now because this is about when I start stamping

but I'm not going to you're not going to see me stamp the top portion the top left portion

but I will put the stamp remember underneath the photo

and I do put underneath "Capture" I put "Something New"

I believe and I believe it's an Amy Tangerine stamp

And shoutout to Shimelle!

she is the reason why I pulled out my stamps

because I'm playing along with the 30-day challenge that she has

and I had my stamps on my desk

and I said you know what I have these pretty stamps

I need to use them so that is why I use the stamps today

so I felt like I had to put something on the top left corner

since I took that tab away

so I went through my stash and without these these

scallops from the Cute Girl collection

and I'm just going to add some doodling

right there to connect them to the the pattern paper (the torn pattern paper)

so now I'm going to add my splatters and I think this splatters are so pretty

and perfect on this layout even though they're messy of course

BUT THAT IS IT!

why buy an iPhone

when you can buy a Big Cola...

phone?

China Uncensored.

I know a thing or two about knockoffs.

You know,

things that look like the original,

but maybe aren't exactly the same?

But pretty close.

It's true though that

when it comes to knockoffs,

China is the undisputed king.

And it's largely thanks to

loose intellectual property laws,

and well, people generally not caring about

the laws that are in place.

Plus a Chinese court system

that usually rules in favor

of homegrown Chinese companies.

Take the iPhone.

Um, no, not that iPhone.

That's a Chinese leather goods maker

that beat Apple to the iPhone trademark in China.

I'm talking about the never-ending stream

of cellular hand held devices

that look suspiciously like Apple's iPhone.

Here are my top 5.

Number 5

Oppo China style

This is the Oppo.

A quick glance at their website

makes it pretty clear

where they get their inspiration.

"But they slightly changed the shape

of the home button," you say.

Yes, but these phones—

the F3 and F3 Plus—

otherwise look pretty much

exactly like iPhones.

They even follow Apple's color options.

But after F3,

the numbering gets weird.

There's the A77,

the R9s Plus,

the A39,

the N3, the N1 Mini,

and the awkwardly named, Find 7a.

"Hey Siri, find Find 7a."

Number 4

Big Cola

People in China love the iPhone.

Just look at the lines

for the release of the iPhone

a few years ago.

The problem is,

most people in China are actually really poor.

78% of people there

make less than 10 dollars a day,

according to the Pew Research Center.

And considering the iPhone 7 and 7 plus

both go for around 1,000 US dollars in China,

you can see how there might be

a bit of a disconnect.

That's where Big Cola,

or DaKeLe comes in.

It was specifically designed to be

a cheap iPhone knockoff—

less than half the price.

And you can also get a two-liter version free

if you order two large one-topping pizzas

from Pizza Hut.

Now that's a deal!

In fact, a few years ago,

the Big Cola was even hailed as

the best iPhone knockoff.

Yes, this was a whole industry in China.

But the company folded.

What happened?

Did people start buying the real thing?

No.

Other, larger Chinese companies

with dubious ties to the government

decided to get in on the fake iPhone game

and dominated the market.

And that brings us to...

Number 3

A super Nova

You see, what DaKeLe really was lacking

was big name celebrity endorsement

that only a mega telecommunications giant like Huawei

could reel in.

Sure, it's an iPhone knockoff,

but it's endorsed by Chinese heartthrob singer,

Zhang Yixing.

And it's not just the nova.

The Huawei P10 is also basically

an iPhone clone.

Now sure,

having a Huawei device

may have its downsides.

The US government thinks that Huawei

has "undisclosed connections

with the Chinese government,"

and "Huawei equipment could surreptitiously harbor

software to facilitate cyberwarfare,

including espionage or network disruption."

But don't worry,

they were talking about Huawei's telecommunications equipment,

not their phones, which I'm sure are fine.

Number 2

The iPhone?

Wait, is this an actual iPhone?

It says iPhone.

It has the Apple logo on it.

But as those of you read Chinese can see—

it's not an iPhone.

It's "the Best iPhone 7 Plus knockoff."

You see,

this isn't a brand.

Their motto is:

"We're the leader in high quality iPhone

and Samsung knockoffs."

And they nailed it.

Right down to the iPhone 7's

missing headphone jack, making this knockoff

just as terrible as the original.

I mean, no headphone jack?!

What were they thinking?!!!

And finally,

Number 1

Will the real smartphone

please stand up?

Okay, now this one barely looks like the iPhone.

And yet, the Baili 100C accused the iPhone

of stealing its design.

That's right,

a Chinese smartphone maker so small,

it didn't even have a website,

sued Apple in a Beijing court

for stealing that classic Baili 100C look.

Irony is dead.

And of course,

the Beijing Intellectual Property Office

ruled in favor of the Chinese company.

They said, "Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

have minor differences from Baili's 100C.

The differences are so tiny

that the average customer

could not notice."

The result? Apple was banned

from selling iPhones in Beijing.

Of course, Apple immediately appealed,

and there was no actual break in people

being able to buy the real iPhone.

Apple did eventually win.

It helped that Baili was a defunct company

by then anyway.

But if an out-of-business Chinese knockoff

can sue Apple for stealing its design and win,

at least for a little while...

actually I don't know what that says.

youtube'deki yüzü olduğuna dair başlayan dedikodulardır.

Sizlerden gelen yoğun talep neticesinde işin iç yüzünü öğrenmek üzere yurt dışında

ki bağlantılarımdan konu ile alakalı detaylı şekilde bilgi aldım.

Nihayetinde ortada büyük bir çelişki var.

şekilde görülüyor, web sayfasına girip basitçe kaynak kısmına göz atarsanız

illuminati pramitini net şekilde görebilirsiniz.

Bir başka bölümde poppy illuminatinin sloganı yeni dünya düzenine açık atıflar yaparak

Amerika'yı yüceltiyor.

Ancak verdiği mesajlara dikkatle bakarsanız herkesçe bilinen nette hemen her yerde rastladığımız

illuminati olgularından başkası değil.

Yani aslında bilinenler dışında yeni bir şey yok.

Elbette poppy Türkiye'den olan talebide iyi gözlemlemiş ve bazı videolarına Türkçe

isimler vermiştir.

Ayrıca poppy bir çok youtuberinde adeta ekmek kapısı olmuştur.

Özellikle türkiyede poppy ifşa, illuminatinin kızı poppy isimli bir çok video çekilmiş

ve bu videolar milyonlarca defa tıklanmıştır.

Videoları yapan bu youtuberlar ise kendilerini adeta üstün zekalı ilan ederek poppynin

illuminati ile alakalı sözüm ona bu gizli mesajları deşifre ettiklerini ilan etmiş

ve ard arda videolar hazırlamışlardır.

Buradan bu videoları hazırlayan arkadaşlara ufak bir mesajım var.

Siz hiçbir şeyi deşifre etmediniz sadece poppynin size zaten göstermek istediği birkaç

masonik sembolü gördünüz ki bu üstün zeka gerektiren bir şey değildir.

Konumuza dönecek olursak bu videoları hazırlayan arkadaşlar buldukları sembol ve simgeleri

poppynin özel masonik misyonuna açık birer delil olarak insanlara lanse etmekte ve poppynin

günden güne artan popüleritesine biraz daha katkı sağlamayı başarmaktadırlar.

That top elite of 8,000 to 8,500 worship Lucifer as their god, regard people as sheep to be

used, and manipulate the media so as to conceal how the world really operates.

Bernard became part of that exclusive top 1% and was invited to the elite�s satanic

church of �Eyes Wide Shut� Black Mass, naked women and drugs.

By this time, Bernard�s long-dormant conscience had begun to stir after seeing how currency

speculation, specifically of the Italian lira, bankrupted a company and drove the owner to

commit suicide.

When Bernard was asked to participate in satanic blood sacrifices of children, that was the

coup de gr�s.

Those who participated would be blackmailed by the satanic elite to do their bidding.

Bernard began to refuse assignments.

He wanted out, but was trapped.

He was physically tortured, to prevent him from revealing names of companies, groups,

This website has two major licenses, and they are Stranded Videvo License and CC 3.

If the stock media is licensed under Stranded Videvo License then, you can use it in your

There are no limits on the media you get from Pexels.

As of me, Pexels has the second largest stock media with best license possible.

So, if you are searching for real free stuff, which you can use anywhere then Pexels is

Videezy is a website where you can download 4K videos for free, at this website if you

download anything you have to give credit to the Videezy website.

Also Videezy only gives you stock video but not photos.

The company Eezy has some other websites like, Brusheezy, which gives you free Photoshop

Vecteezy on which you can get Vector Graphics for free, and Themeezy where you can download

time to prune it right so today I am going to tidy up this beech forest and

some of the branches are getting thin and long and they need to be pruned back

and also this is the front the bigger trees at the front the smaller trees at

the back and we start with these very low branches which are getting rotten

I'll cut it back sleeves after but their centre with that cut it back to there

and we'll repeat the process here

there's a path there so cut it back to that Arjun these are okay repeat that

here and the head and you start the do you start it's okay now this one will

reduce it to about there and the very bad feeling here and also slightly back

padding so perhaps it can be cut back the further are the buds here and here

and this one again is getting very very long so you have to clean this one back

Cut Crease Eye Makeup Tutorial | Julia Dantas | CBC Life - Duration: 3:17.

Hello guys

It's Julia Dantas and I'm here with CBC Life to bring to you this bomb, prom makeup tutorial

because of course I want you to look your absolute best this prom season

If you guys want to see how I got this makeup look, then please keep on watching

So I'm starting off with a primer and it's really important to use a primer when you

have a big event because this is really going to ensure that your makeup is going to really

stay on your skin

Next, I'm going into a full coverage foundation.

I'm using the Makeup Forever Ultra HD stick foundation

And I want to give it the most flawless effect possible so I'm going in with a tiny buffing

brush and really just buffing this into my skin so my skin looks flawless

Next for concealer I'm using my Pro Concealer and I'm highlighting underneath my eyes but

I like to balance that out by highlighting my forehead and on the bridge of my nose and

on my chin

And this is going to look great when I start adding my bronzer because it's going to be

really nice contrast so I'm going to look much more chiseled

And whenever you use cream products you always want to remember to set it with powder so

I'm just grabbing some translucent powder and sticking underneath my eyes

For bronzer today I'm using my NARS bronzer, and I like to do a 3 shape, so I do top of

my forehead, underneath my cheekbones and then my jaw, and this is really going to give

us that chiselled defined look.

I'm grabbing my Make Up Forever Ultra HD blush and I'm just putting it on the apples of my

cheeks to give it some colour

So for my eyes I'm going to do a really cool, dramatic cut crease and I'm sticking to neutral

tones so that you can pair this with pretty much any colour scheme you are wearing

So I'm starting out with a pretty light brown shade and this really just going to warm up

the crease, and then building into the darker browns

And I'm just following the crease and the shape of my eye and then just flicking it

outwards at the very end

And then I'm grabbing a darker brown and sticking that right in the crease and then going back

in with a clean blending brush and then just blending that out

I'm really taking my time with this blending to make sure it has a perfect gradient

And then I'm going to grab some concealer and I'm just cleaning up the underneath of

that crease so that it's really sharp, crisp and defined

So of course we need some bling, bling to complete this eye look so I'm using my Makeup

Forever starlet liquid in the shade 03.

And I'm finishing off my eyes with a dramatic wing

I'm going to do a pretty neutrual lip so I can keep all the focus on my eyes so I'm grabbing

a liquid lipstick this is by Colour Pop in the shade Midi and this is going to be great

because it's going to last you all night long

But then I feel like it needs a little bit of gloss on top so I'm pairing that with a

Mac lip gloss to complete this look.

The Antimatter Fountain - Duration: 3:28.

One of the more interesting properties of our universe is the existence of antimatter.

Antimatter is simply matter that merely has the opposite electrical charge.

Other than that it behaves in an identical manner to normal matter, so far as we know,

and would, if you had enough of it, be able to form atoms, planets and even aliens.

Other than the famous effect of antimatter and matter mutually annihilating when they

come into contact with each other, there is nothing special about the material other than

in our world of predominantly normal matter, it is very expensive to create, often claimed

to be the most expensive stuff on earth and only individual

Atoms of antimatter have ever been made, most interestingly when a nucleus of antihelium

was created.

But we don't see atoms of it, so far as we know, in the universe despite the prediction

that the big bang should have created antimatter in equal parts to normal matter.

The universe literally should have annihilated itself just after the Big Bang.

Clearly, it did not.

This has led to one of the great mysteries of physics, the asymmetry of matter and antimatter.

The current thinking there is that somehow the Big Bang produced just a little bit more

matter than antimatter, and that most of what the creation of the universe resulted in was

annihilated, and our matter is just the remnants.

But new research by M. Agostini and colleagues using a detector in Italy, link in the description

below, may be close to solving that question by looking for a peculiar form of radioactive

decay, that if it exists, would go a long way in explaining the asymmetry.

But antimatter isn't entirely banned in nature.

Individual positrons, the electron's antiparticle, are seen in nature, particularly positrons

produced by radioactivity.

But there is one mysterious example of positron creation that is absolutely mindblowing in

the sheer amount of antiparticles it produces.

It's called an antimatter fountain and at least one has been found near the center of

the Milky Way.

It was first observed in 1997 by the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory by surprised scientists

who weren't expecting to see matter/antimatter annihilation radiation in the galaxy.

But, there it was on an enormous scale, stretching as far as 3500 light years from the source.

Not a lot is known about the source of the positrons.

One idea is that exploding stars in star forming regions might produce them, and another is

that they are produced in the jets of black holes.

But its hard to imagine any of those sources creating so many antiparticles, the estimates

are as much as the equivalent of 15 billion tons of positrons a second are being created

and thrown out of the center of the galaxy.

And a secondary mystery is how enough of them avoid encountering normal matter and annihilation

to stretch so far out of the galaxy.

I've always thought that the mysterious antimatter fountain never quite got its due.

Articles and papers on it are sparse, but in my opinion it was one of Compton's more

interesting discoveries.

It's also probably one of the areas of the galaxy that you'd most want to avoid, lest

you get annihilated by positrons.

Donald Trump's controversial visit to the UK is on hold, according to the Guardian,

which reports that the US president, leery of protests upon his arrival, spoke with Prime

Minister Theresa May and told her "he didn�t want to proceed with a state visit to U.K.

until he received more support for the trip."

Trump reportedly told May that he did not want to come if there were "large-scale protests

and his remarks in effect put the visit on hold for some time."

The call, which was leaked by a Downing Street adviser who was in the room, was made in recent

weeks and according to the Guardian explains why there has been little public discussion

about Trump's visit.

The Guardian also notes that Trump's statement "surprised May."

As a reminder, May invited Trump to Britain seven days after his inauguration when she

became the first foreign leader to visit him in the White House.

She told a joint press conference she had extended an invitation from the Queen to Trump

and his wife Melania to make a state visit later in the year and was �delighted that

the president has accepted that invitation�.

While many UK diplomats, including former national security advisor Lord Ricketts, said

the invitation was premature, it was impossible to rescind once made.

Trump's visit prompted further controversy recently after the US president went personally

after the mayor of London in tweets following an attack there earlier this month.

Last week, London Mayor Sadiq Khan called for the British government to cancel a state

visit from Trump.

�I don�t think we should roll out the red carpet to the president of the USA in

the circumstances where his policies go against everything we stand for,� Khan said in an

interview with Britain�s Channel 4 News.

�When you have a special relationship it is no different from when you have got a close

mate.

You stand with them in times of adversity but you call them out when they are wrong.

There are many things about which Donald Trump is wrong�, Khan added.

The acting US ambassador to the UK, Lewis Lukens, clashed with Trump last week by praising

the London mayor, for his strong leadership over the London Bridge and Borough Market

terror attack.

As the Guardian adds, the UK�s traditional effort to act as a bridge between the US and

Europe has become more complex since the vote last year to leave the European Union and

Trump�s support for policies that have angered Euroean allies.

In light of the latest political turbulence in the UK following the disastrous, for the

Tories, general election last week, it was unclear if Trump plans to cancel his trip

to

SAM ARRIVES

Whether the Stars were determined to show their opponents what they could do when they

tried or whether it was because they wanted to show their confidence in Joe, or even whether

it was due to a slump in the playing of the Academy team, was not made manifest, but at

any rate in their half of the sixth inning our friends gathered in four runs, making

the score ten to three in their favor.

"Oh, it's a walk-over," boasted Tom Davis as he did an impromptu war dance.

"Yes, we've got 'em beat a mile," added Seth Potter.

"Don't be too sure," commented the Academy captain.

"No game is won until it's over and we've got three more innings yet.

The seventh is always our lucky number."

"You're welcome to all you can get," rejoined Captain Rankin with a laugh.

"Seven is where we always eat pie, too."

The Stars were about to take the field for the[192] beginning of the seventh when there

was a commotion over at one entrance gate.

A lad came running through the crowd.

"Hold on!" he cried.

"Wait!

I'm going to play.

Let me pitch!"

"Sam Morton!" burst out Tom Davis.

"Why couldn't he stay away until we had the game won?

I'll bet we slump as soon as he goes in the box."

Sam came on running.

He was panting and out of breath.

"What's the matter?

Where were you?"

demanded Darrell.

"I got on—the wrong car.

I thought it—came here.

They—took me off—in the woods—somewhere.

I've had an awful time—getting here.

Is the game—over?"

"No, we're just starting the seventh."

"Can't I pitch?"

Darrell hesitated.

It was a perfectly natural request for Sam and yet Joe had been doing so well that both

the manager and the captain disliked to take him off the mound.

"Can't I pitch?"

again demanded Sam.

"You don't mean to tell me that Joe Matson has——"

"Joe hasn't done anything but what we wanted him to," put in Rankin quickly, "and

he's made a good record."

"Oh, I suppose so," sneered Sam.

"Well, if you don't want me to——"

"Of course you can pitch," said Darrell quietly.

It was unquestioningly Sam's right and though he was in rather an exhausted condition still

the manager and captain knew that he was at his best early in his game.

"What are you going to do; change pitchers?"

demanded the manager of the Academy team, striding up to Darrell and Captain Rankin.

"Yes."

"You can't do it now."

"Why not?"

"It's against the rules.

You've got to have some one bat for him first.

You can't change until next inning."

There was quite a mix-up, and rules were quoted and mis-quoted back and forth, for, as I have

said, the lads were far from being professional or even college players.

The upshot of it was that Sam was allowed to go in, whether or not in accordance with

the rules the boys did not decide, and the little feeling that had been raised soon subsided,

for they were all true sportsmen.

As for Joe, at first he felt humiliated that he was displaced but he realized that he had

had more honor that he had at first expected, and his[194] arm was beginning to pain him

very much.

So, on the whole, he was glad Sam had arrived when he did.

Not so the captain, manager and other Star players, however, for Sam allowed two runs

while he occupied the box, and the Academy team and their friends were jubilant.

The Stars managed to get two runs in their half of the seventh.

Joe did not play, his place at centre field continuing to be filled by Tom.

Joe was glad of the rest and he watched the efforts of his rival closely.

In the eighth Sam did not seem able to pull himself together and three runs were due to

his poor pitching.

"Say, if we play innings enough we'll beat 'em even with their new pitcher!"

called some one in the crowd, anxious to get Sam's "goat," or nerve.

And this seemed likely.

In their half of the eighth the Stars only got one run, and when the ninth inning opened

there were some anxious hearts among the members of the visiting team.

And then came a terrible slump.

Sam grew wild, allowed bases on balls, struck one man and muffed an easy fly.

When the route and riot were over there were five runs to the credit of the schoolboy players

and they had tied the score,[195] pulling up from a long way in the rear.

The crowd went wild for them.

"Fellows, we've got to make our half of this inning count," said Darrell earnestly.

"They're making fools of us and they're not in our class at all.

We've got to beat them!

Sam, wake up!" he said sharply.

"I'm not asleep!" retorted the pitcher.

"If you think I am why don't you send that Matson in again?"

"Easy now, easy," spoke Rankin.

"You can pitch if you pull yourself together, and if we can't make a run this inning and

it goes to the tenth you'll have to unwind some curves."

"I will, but it won't go to the tenth."

It didn't, for the Stars took a brace and pulled off one run, winning the game by a

score of fourteen to thirteen.

But it had been a close call.

"Well, you beat us," acknowledged the Academy manager as the winning run came in.

"But it took two pitchers to do it, and you'd have done better if you'd stuck

to the first one."

"Perhaps," admitted Darrell.

"You played better than I gave you credit for."

"Why don't you use that first pitcher regularly?" the home captain wanted to know.

"Nothing," answered the manager in some confusion.

He was saved a further reply by the approach of a boy who held a note in his hand.

"Right over there," said Darrell, pointing to where the young pitcher was talking to

"I've got a letter for him," the messenger went on.
