Here are 8 Ways you Can Increase Dopamine Levels

in your Brain without Medication

We are all looking for happiness, but where is it?

What is the key to overall happiness in life?

Some people think it is money, family, or other materialistic objects.

Finding happiness in life might be easier than you think.

We have chemicals in our brain that are responsible for the way we feel negative feelings

and positive feelings.

The brain chemicals, or neurochemicals, that make us feel good are often referred to as

the feel good chemicals, They mainly consist of dopamine and serotonin, but dopamine

is the one that really makes you feel happy.

So what can we do to increase our dopamine levels?

Well, doctors will try to prescribe medications that are said to balance out our neurochemicals,

but they are way too risky.

They have serious side effects and are really addictive.

Instead of taking pharmaceuticals we should always resort to natural treatment.

It is the only kind of treatment that doesnt typically make everything worse, and you have

guaranteed results and thankfully, there are several ways to naturally boost your dopamine

levels.

One of the easiest ways to naturally boost your dopamine levels is by setting goals.

Research shows that dopamine is automatically released when we complete a goal.

The best part about it is that it does not matter how big or small the goal is!

Studies show that more dopamine is released when you physically check off your to do list.

So, write down some small goals and check them off when you complete them.

Youll feel great about your day.

Another way to increase your dopamine naturally is by focusing on something you love.

If you love to draw take 20 minutes out of each day and focus on your drawing!

When you are doing these you love you become extremely focused, and psychologists call

this the flow.

So get your flow on and focus on something you love to do.

Exercising is great for us, we all know that.

It strengthens virtually every part of our bodies from bones, muscles, cardiovascular

system, immune health, and yes, even your emotional health.

According to scientists, exercising releases dopamine and serotonin in your brain.

It doesnt even have to be a hard workout either!

Just go for a walk!

Another important component of natural happiness is reminding yourself of your streaks.

Have a visual reminder of how many days in a row you have achieved something.

It can do more than you think.

Increasing tyrosine, an essential amino acid, can naturally boost your dopamine levels.

It is essentially the building block of dopamine.

It helps make up the dopamine compound.

Increasing your intake of this nutrient can dramatically increase your dopamine levels.

Eating bananas, beef, chicken, green tea, watermelon, yogurt, coffee, and almonds can

increase your tyrosine levels.

Listening to music can also make you feel one thousand times better.

It also increases dopamine levels, according to research.

The next time you are feeling down, listen to your favorite tunes.

Listening to music daily might even change the whole game for you.

Meditating has literally hundreds of benefits.

It has been scientifically proven to reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and treat many other

health issues.

Mindfully meditating is an excellent way to just let life go on.

Simply exist in time and enjoy being alive.

It also keeps you from overthinking.

Some studies have even directly linked meditation to raising dopamine levels.

Last but not least, writing down the things you love about life can also release dopamine.

Taking ten minutes out of each day and writing down things you like, love, and enjoy about

life.

It can also be beneficial to your self esteem to write the things you

like about yourself!

Camera Obscura: Through the Viewfinder with Marcin Lewandowski - Duration: 11:15.

Welcome to AdoramaTV.

My name is Marcin Lewandowski

and in this episode of The Viewfinder

we'll step back

from the usual tips and tricks

regarding photography

and look at the very beginning

of photography,

building a camera ourselves:

a Camera Obscura.

Camera obscura is the most

basic photography device.

In fact, it's so basic

that it doesn't even

capture the image,

just displays it.

What's really interesting

about camera obscura

is that practically

every single camera in existence

works on the same principle.

I will try to keep it as simple as possible

and not delve

into too much technicalities

in this episode.

I will demonstrate how to make it work

and show you how easy it is

to build your own.

As an added bonus,

we'll be able

to do something

that inventors of this device

didn't even dream about.

We will use our mobile phones

to capture the image,

simply by sliding it

at the back.

All we need are simple materials

that you might

have around the house:

cardboard,

magnifying glass,

sharp knife,

ruler,

tape,

some tracing paper

and if you don't want to damage your table

I also suggest a cutting mat.

When I said let's not go

into too much technicalities,

it's because there is a lot

of things we can calculate

when building

camera obscura.

You can calculate the focal length

of your lens.

You can use different type of lenses.

You can use a pinhole lens.

You can use actual lens.

To make things easy,

simple and visually strong,

we're just going to use

the simple magnifying glass.

Buy the cheapest ones,

buy the nicest ones, whatever.

Just make sure that you can easily

pop it off.

Before you start doing anything,

think about health and safety.

Your health and safety

and the ones around you

because you'll be using a sharp knife.

So let's be doubly careful

so that you don't cut off your fingers.

So 20cm is the width of our camera obscura.

This is the first wall

of our camera obscura.

Basically, what this will be...

We're going to mount the lens on one side,

the light will fall in

and somewhere here

we're going to have our sensor

in a form of tracing paper

and the images will

magically appear on it.

Let's get on with it.

Okay let's put our pieces together.

So first this is how I do it.

Don't feel like

this is the right way to do it,

or the wrong way to do it.

I just stick them together initially

and then I going to roll them

around with tape just to make sure that

they all fit tightly and they're all snug.

What I also did at home,

you can use it for

if you have any light leaks

black paper inside works,

black paint,

black spray paint.

You don't have to do this

but the less light that falls

in through any little gaps,

the better it is.

This one needs a little bit of work.

This is the body of our camera obscura.

So to tighten it this is what I do,

this is just an initial tightening

to improve the sturdiness.

So this is our camera body.

What we need now is a lens in the front

and a "sensor" at the back.

Okay so let's go to the lens.

Just pop it out.

Not every one will work like this

but some of them are glued inside.

There's another reason

to go for the cheapest one

because there are skimpier

materials used

probably will be no glue

and it is going to pop out like this, boom.

Okay so we need a piece of cardboard

now to mount our lens on.

You could probably just cut out a circle

the size of your magnifying glass

but because we have a square camera

I'm just going to cut a square.

The moment of truth.

So now we need to put

our lens on it.

Because we have a square piece

it's very easy for us

to half the middle of it

just do two lines roughly

there and there.

Look at the middle,

so this will be my, first edge

second edge, third edge

so basically marking the size

of the glass that we have

and going to cut a rectangle box

that's slightly smaller

than the size of our glass.

So this is roughly the biggest aperture

we can get.

It's like with any camera and any lens

the smaller the window you will cut

for your magnifying glass

the slower the aperture will be.

So now mounting of our lens.

Now this is probably the most technical

and hardcore element

of the whole process,

just kidding.

So now with our lens in,

we're almost there.

What's happening inside?

Cool.

See it's focusing on the bottom.

As you can see

our cardboard was really wobbly

so what we want to do

is tighten it a little bit

well not really tighten it,

as in black it out.

So this is what I'm doing now,

getting rid of the light leaks.

Okay let's see,

okay it's pretty dark

Coolio.

This is our focusing mechanism.

This is what we need right?

We want one piece to go into the other.

They are way too long and I can already see that

but the main thing is that they fit

so they can move

and they do.

So that's one thing accomplished.

The next thing we will do

is Mount the lens

on our camera.

It's not a screw in,

it's not an F mount,

it's not an E mount.

It's a CO mount.

A camera obscura mount

basically just tape it to the front

and again if you can avoid any light leaks

that will work in your advantage.

Now that we have the camera body

with the lens

what we need is our sensor.

So the reason

I'm kind of adjusting it a little bit

is because we're going to put this

piece, the frame. onto the front of this

and this box is sliding into the other one,

so we don't want the edges of it

being in the way.

Again just to keep things simple

we're going to use the same tape

as we used to glue our camera body together.

Again very roughly

our full-frame sensor.

Okay.

So initially, I mean with the original design

of camera obscura,

it was used to draw on

and you can do that.

Why not, if you can draw,

I encourage you to do so.

Okay.

Now let's mount our sensor.

Let's put it together

and see if we can see anything?

Alright.

Well I know we will

but for the demonstration

we'll go outside.

Instead of the magnifying glass

in front of your camera obscura

you could use an old lens

or a lens from an old camera

or you could even use a pinhole.

I hope you'll enjoy your handmade camera.

Do I take you away

Or leave you to stay

Do I turn away from everything

Do I beg for you instead

With a heart full of haste

And take you away from this ruthless place

Do you know this?

Do you know the things that I've been through

For you to make that face

Like its not enough for you

It's not enough for you

No it's not enough for you

It's not enough for you

If I could see

The lies that begin

The birth of all sins

I'd be standing right behind of this crowd

And I'd listen to all the things you never said

And kept assuming with my thoughts out aloud

This restlessness is killing me

These oceans of emotions

Branched in rivers of illusions

I might ask myself forever

Do I take you away

Or leave you to stay

Do I turn away from everything

Do I beg for you instead

With a heart full of haste

And take you away from this ruthless place

Do you know this?

Do you know the things that I've been through

For you to make that face

Like it's not enough for you

It's not enough for you

No it's not enough for you

It's not enough for you

I'll clutch you in my arms so tight

I'll wring out all my wishes

Out with you

That's never true

I'll take a breath,

I'll hold it tight

And waste another moment

Out with you

Get it through

Do I take you away?

Or leave you to stay

Do I turn away from everything

Do I beg for you instead

With a heart full of haste

And take you away from this ruthless place

From this..

Ruthless place

Do you know this

Do you know the things that I've been through

For you to make that face

Like it's not enough for you

It's not enough for you

No it's not enough for you

It's not enough for you

Don't Settle - Duration: 1:48.

Those of Reformational convictions in this country—in the United States—have

perhaps an unparalleled opportunity to lighten the world with the message of

Scripture recovered by the Reformers, but only if you don't settle.

Don't settle for wealth, comfort, success, status.

Don't settle for the false lights of small God big man theologies.

However you are gonna do it my friend, live and

die with all your strength to see God's Word go out. That people might hear of a

super-sufficient Savior, of the glory of a God whose love does not find but

creates that which is pleasing to it.

That people might hear of a God who loves sinners and who keeps His own to

the uttermost.

That the enslaving darkness of false religion and self-dependence

all around us might be replaced with heartfelt happy trust in Christ and joy

in Him.

Jared Nomak, we're ready for you.

In the past 12 months, have you gotten a tattoo,

or undergone any ear, skin, or body piercings?

No.

Where did you get that scar on your chin?

Childhood accident.

You say you don't have any immediate next of kin,

- is that right? - Not that I'm in contact with.

Nobody to call in case of an emergency?

No one.

- No family? - I told you, no.

Are you telling me I can't be a donor?

It depends. We came up

with some unusual results on your blood test.

What?

How unusual?

Let me explain.

Your blood has a very rare phenotype,

one we haven't encountered before.

THE SECRET behind ALL VIDEO GAMES TRAILERS - Duration: 5:03.

Yo Trashers! We are in the middle of the E3, the world's biggest trade fair in the video game world

that stands every year in june in Los Angeles.

It is the unmissable appointment for every video game fan, with a central point:

those famous conferences from the different studios during which

they announce the next consoles and games.

The exercise is hard: how can you deeply impact the players in the shortest time possible,

in order to be remembered more than 10 minutes?

Well, the CGI cinematic is the answer: we talked about it a few months ago

in the video about the most memorable trailers.

Visually, it kicks asses, and it is so different from the visuals we are used to in-game

that there is no risk people come to you to say you ''cheat'' because

''it does not represent the final quality of the game''.

Anyways, you could not dream about a better showcase for your game.

It is quite simple: from now on, the E3 is a forced passage for every AAA's marketing campaign,

even though its cost is really high, in terms of time and money.

Because yes, you have to realize that every trailer represents months of work.

Well, by the absurd at least, you have the time to make an entire game

while others ''just'' make a 3 minutes-trailer.

But did you know that behind all those incredible cinematics

you know hide the same team?

The studio Blur, an absolute reference in terms of animated short movies,

but which is in the end pretty unknown by most of the people.

So let us take a ride with some trailers

they created those last years, you are going to be surprised.

Not bad huh? And we could have made this last longer,

because for all I can say, there is a whole lot left.

So Blur is an american studio created in 1995 by Tim Miller and his two associates,

yes, the same Tim Miller that directed Deadpool,

which special effects were realized by Blur.

For yes, more than being a studio that creates trailers,

those geniuses are often engaged in cinema.

We can note in their feats the SFX of all the spatial scenes

in Avatar and the Thor 2's prologue, nothing less.

The studio became such a reference those past years that now the developers often

come to see them and simply give them the liberty

to create what they want in the trailer.

Because Blur are professionals in every domain: scenario, motion capture,

storyboard, they know how to do everything, and they are good at it.

The proof is that in one of their original short-films, Gopher Broke received a nomination

for the Oscars.

So we can wonder: when are short or long films based on our favourite games

with such quality coming? It makes people dream yeah.

Except that they already did it, and you can even see it for free

on Youtube.

More and more developers call Blur to create cinematics longer

than 8 or 9 minutes.

Let us take Star Wars: The Old Republic as an example: 5 insane trailers

that put end-to-end represent a 26 minutes long story, a real short film in two parts

that first describes the return of the Sith in the galaxy from the point of view

of a young Jedi, and then from a young Sith's point of view.

And a second part with a greater quality where we follow a tragic family story

which every member is a powerful Force user.

I do not tell you more, if you like Star Wars just go see it. For some people,

it is even better than Star Wars 7.

But what simple wrecks everything is The Elder Scrolls Online. Here, we have 24 minutes of animation

in which we are plunged into a war opposing the 3 basic archetypes of

the franchise: the Warrior, the Thief, and the Sorcerer.

So the story is quite classic, about forgiveness and betrayal,

but we still get surprised to feel affection towards those 3 characters along

the battles.

Here again, I strongly recommend them to you. We still have a classic Heroic Fantasy mood,

but it works.

And you can even make the pleasure last longer with a small 4 minutes additional dose

with another story set in the Dwemer ruins, in Morrowind.

A Kotaku's article talks about Blur as the Pixar of video games…

And frankly, I think they are correct.

Because studios that can hold them are quite rare, as Blizzard and Digic Pictures,

the ones who made the Assassin's Creed's and The Wticher's trailers.

But Blur stands out by the scenarisation of their trailers and

their length.

And actually, I do not even know why we keep talking about ''trailers'', for they are

real short films.

I really wanted to make you discover the existence of this studio because even if

most of you already saw one of their cinematics without knowing they were

the ones behind it.

So if you want to catch up, I advise you

to see their Youtube channel, there are all their works on it, which represents nothing less

than 120 videos.

Thanks to all for watching this video, I hope that you found it interesting.

I clearly think that the future holds some real good things in this domain for us.

But until then, I tell ya all see you next time, bye!
