Versus - E3 2017 Press Conference Showdown - Duration: 9:31.

E3 is *the* place for publishers to go all out in showcasing upcoming games and getting

players excited for the future.

This year's event saw one of the fiercest battles yet, with EA, Microsoft, Bethesda,

Ubisoft, and Sony hosting live conferences, plus an additional bit of madness from Devolver

Digital, and Nintendo's usual Direct show.

In today's episode of Versus, we'll be pitting those publishers which held live conferences

against one another, assessing what they did well, and what they didn't do so well, before

ultimately crowning our winner.

This is Mack, for PlayStation LifeStyle, here with the E3 2017 Press Conference Showdown.

Up first is EA, whose slow start and heavy focus on YouTube Content Creators made us

a little sleepy.

The sports section went by without any surprises, as it does every year.

This was broken up by a quick look at some new Battlefield 1 DLC, and a hint at a competitive

mode coming in September.

Following a super awkward introduction from a YouTuber, we got to see some more Need for

Speed Payback action.

It looked great, and had a serious Fast and the Furious feel to it.

"A Way Out" was then given time in the spotlight, a game by the creators of Brothers:

A Tale of Two Sons.

Its unique only-playable-in-coop caught our attention, along with a you-can't-deny-it

similarity to Uncharted 4.

It looked solid, and it was cool to have a charismatic developer up onstage.

Then the reveal for Anthem dropped.

It offered a small tease, but got us and everyone else talking.

It was a big reason to tune into Microsoft's conference the following day, where gameplay

was being showcased.

Some other EA Sports stuff, this time NBA Live 18, followed.

After the basketball, we finally get to see Star Wars Battlefront 2 in action for a solid

30 minutes.

It looked fantastic, and it really seems as though DICE has listened to player feedback

from the first game, and is focused on making many improvements.

Going multi-era and including Darth Maul going up against Rey was odd to see, but we imagine

was very fun to play.

Overall, EA's conference started slow, then went up and down like a rollercoaster, before

ending on the big high.

We're awarding bonus points here for the little to no mention about mobile gaming!

All eyes were on Microsoft, as it needed to not only reveal its new console, but also

provide a slew of system sellers to help give it a healthy launch.

Phil Spencer wasted no time, immediately kicking off the show with the Xbox One X, the new

most powerful console, which will launch on November 7th of this year.

Not only is it powerful, but it's also small in size, smaller than the Xbox One S even!

What came next were a bunch of trailers for fantastic looking titles, some of which are

exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox One X; others that are exclusive to the Xbox One, Xbox One

X, and PC; and others that aren't exclusive at all.

We got a look at Forza Motorsport 7, Metro: Exodus, Assassin's Creed: Origins, PlayerUnknown's

Battlegrounds, Deep Rock Galactic, State of Decay 2, The Darwin Project, Minecraft in

4K, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Black Desert, The Last Night, The Artful Escape, Code Vein,

Sea of Thieves, Tacoma, Super Lucky's Tale, Cuphead, and a bunch more that were quickly

displayed onscreen.

Phil appeared back on stage, continuing to talk games.

We saw Ashen, Life is Strange: Before The Storm, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, and Ori

and the Will of the Wisps.

Lots and lots of great looking titles fired our way in quick succession.

And this would have been absolutely fine, if not for the ridiculous amount of different

"exclusive" types.

Timed exclusives, console exclusives, Xbox and Windows 10 exclusive, and non-exclusives

all jumbled together made for a confusing mess.

With the Xbox One X having been revealed, we'd assumed that the next stage would be

showing why it deserves to be bought.

A brief mention of original Xbox backwards compatibility preceded the even briefer reveal

of the Xbox One X's price tag.

At $499, it's a pretty steep ask for a mid-generation upgrade.

Especially with the Xbox One S's price having now dropped to $199.

With the price revealed, Phil quickly moved onto the terrific Anthem gameplay, with this

non-exclusive closing out the show.

While we commend Microsoft for squeezing a hell of a lot of content into their conference,

we felt that the Xbox One X wasn't given the spotlight it needed.

And while we get that Microsoft wants standard Xbox One owners to feel included, the new

system needed more time to show what exclusive features its hardware allows for.

Bethesda gets big props for its E3 2017, as every game showcased is coming out this year!

Virtual reality got some attention with Doom VFR and Fallout 4 VR.

More Elder Scrolls action came in the form of another look at the Morrowind expansion

for ESO, as well as a new card game, and the Nintendo Switch version of Skyrim.

Moving on to the more meaty announcements: Dishonored is getting a standalone DLC in

which the player is tasked with taking out the Outsider.

The Evil Within 2 made a glorious appearance, and is releasing on the not-so-unlucky October

(Friday the) 13th.

And Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus was confirmed with an epic bit of gameplay and a gruesome

combat trailer.

It was a short conference, but had enough to get us excited about the very near future.

What with all the leaks surrounding Assassin's Creed Origins and other Ubisoft game rumors,

we weren't too excited about its E3 2017 conference.

And so you can imagine our surprise when it turned out to be an absolute riot!

Right off the bat, we got some Nintendo Switch love in the form of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom

Battle, which looked like an XCOM turned adorable and is set to launch this year on August 29th.

Miyamoto joined the Ubisoft CEO onstage, as the game's Creative Director looked ready

to start crying with pride.

It was a great moment, and a fantastic start to the show.

Assassin's Creed Origins gameplay came next, showcased on a small monitor for some bizarre

reason, along with the announcement of its release on October 27th.

It seems to be the "Year of the Racer," with Ubisoft adding to the pile with The Crew

2.

It looks much better than the first, with cars, boats, and planes, all traveling through

a variety of different environments.

That'll be launching in early 2018.

Then it was time for yet another showing of South Park: The Fractured But Whole.

This time, however, we got a concrete release date of October 17th.

Virtual Reality was next on the agenda, with the reveal of a new game called Transference,

set to launch in Spring 2018.

Elijah Wood featured in this creepy yet cool reveal trailer.

Onto Skull and Bones, an incredible looking new IP that is all about pirates, and waging

war at sea.

Effectively taking the best bits from Black Flag and making it into its own IP is a genius

move.

We got to see a nice chunk of gameplay, which made the reveal even better.

It's coming in 2018.

Things then took a bit of a dip with a Just Dance reveal, which was tolerable when compared

to previous years, and the new toy-selling-focused IP, Starlink Battle for Atlas.

Steep followed with its new expansion.

No news of For Honor's future, however, which came as a bit of a shock.

Back to the AAA goodness of Far Cry 5, with a few minutes of gameplay to keep us hyped.

Visually, it looked stunning, and it was a fine way to close out the show…

At least it would have been, if not for Ubisoft's final big surprise: Beyond Good & Evil 2.

A crazy good cinematic trailer revealed the game, which combined with the emotional Michael

Ancel, made for a brilliant finish.

Ubisoft got their pacing just right, and it paid off.

We started out with low expectations, and ended up being very impressed!

Following a masterful pre-show which contained its own host of game reveals, the Sony conference

kicked off with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, followed by a Horizon Zero Dawn DLC reveal.

An extended look at Days Gone gameplay finished off the introductory segment.

Right from the word "go," Sony was flexing its exclusive muscles, with sole host Shawn

Layden pointing out that it's all about the games.

Next up was Monster Hunter World, a Shadow of the Colossus remake, Marvel vs. Capcom

Infinite, and then Call of Duty: WWII.

Next PlayStation VR was given some love, to the relief of me and every other early adopter

of the hardware.

Skyrim VR is a thing, Star Child, The Inpatient, Final Fantasy fishing, Bravo Team, and Moss

were all showcased.

Quite a few titles there to get excited about.

Detroit: Become Human and Destiny 2 came next, followed by the "true exclusive" Marvel's

Spider-Man.

It was obvious that, combined with the awesome pre-show to rule all pre-shows, Sony wanted

to assert itself as the king when it comes to games.

However, despite the range of upcoming titles that Sony did show, it was clear that they

pulled a few punches, likely reserving big reveals and gameplay debuts for this year's

PlayStation Experience.

I know a lot of us wanted to see The Last of Us Part II in action, and splitting upcoming

content between two shows was always going to make Sony's E3 presence a little less

dominating.

What's more, with just one presenter, and trailers taking up the rest of the hour, this

"conference" felt more like a "Sony Direct" type thing.

It would have been nice to hear from some devs, you know?

This, and the lack of any big 2017 releases, along with the absence of an expected price

drop and any other huge reveals, left us hungry for some more.

Though all conferences had their share of high and low points, we think that Ubisoft

pulled off the best show this year.

Making significant improvements over previous years, and getting passionate developers involved

helped win us over.

And Ubisoft really weren't playing around with their big announcements!

We think Ubisoft surprised everyone, whereas the others either failed to deliver when they

needed to, or grew a little complacent with their continued success.

And so, overall, our staff pick Ubisoft as the winner of this E3 2017 Press Conference

Showdown.

How to Communicate With Our Pets and Honour Their Soul Purpose - Duration: 14:11.

How to Communicate With Our Pets and Honour Their Soul Purpose

by Edward Morgan

Guest writer for Wake Up World

Everyone on this Earth is here for a reason.

Everyone here has a purpose, as does everything in Nature; a gift or a contribution to share

with the rest of the world.

And this could not be more true for our pets!

As we share our lives with our animal friends, it is important for us to recognize and honour

their specific soul purpose and longing for being here.

What is it that they would like to share with the world?

What is their gift, and their contribution?

What is it that makes them truly happy?

Like us, the answer is: whatever comes naturally to them.

Simply paying attention to their unique personality is often enough to give us a pretty clear

impression of what their soul purpose is.

But we can also tune into their energy as well as communicate directly with our pets,

and take our relationships with them to higher levels of understanding and communion.

Sidda and Chubs

Ill use my dog, Sidda, as an example.

Sidda is a blue heeler/german shepherd cross who has been in my life for almost 12 years

now.

She is a sweet, gentle soul who has seen me through my most intense periods of growth,

and I know that it was not by accident that she and I were connected.

Through marriage, babies, divorce, moving, another marriage, parenting, self-discovery

and awareness, becoming a writer etc she certainly has had her paws full!

Together we have experienced moments of pure joy and happiness, as well as moments of profound

grief and frustration.

Sidda is a nurturer, or a healer.

No matter who she is around, her calming energy gives comfort.

My barn cats regularly come to Sidda for her love and attention, have their wounds licked,

or simply just to sleep beside her.

Sidda has also become like a mother to my 3 year old Great Pyranese, Chubs.

Chubs often has runny eyes and Sidda licks them clean for him several times a day.

But, although Sidda is incredibly loving to everyone on my farm and within my family,

her loyalties are to me.

Where I go, she goes.

When I have communicated with her, she has told me that she is here to take care of me.

She has also expressed concern for my wellbeing after she is no longer here.

I now make an extra effort to thank her for all of her unconditional love and care that

she has given me over the years.

And even though she can not accompany me around the farm as often as she would like to, due

to her age, I still let her know that she is doing a wonderful job taking care of me.

And I try to spend special alone time with her when I can, as I know how important it

is for the both of us.

My other dog, Chubs, is a protector, or a guardian.

He takes great pride in patrolling the perimeters of my farm and can often be found in the cattle

pens, keeping a watchful eye on my cows.

This brings me great comfort as there is a wolf who has been making regular visits to

my farm these days.

Not to mention, there is the added comfort of knowing hes keeping an eye on my yard

from human intruders as well the kind who would like to borrow things and not return

them!

Beyond being the guardian of our territory, Chubs also takes his role as protector of

my children very seriously.

Every weekday morning he escorts my 2 oldest kids to the end of our lane and waits with

them until the school bus arrives.

When I have communicated with Chubs, he has let me know how much he likes to run ahead

of my truck as I drive over to the cattle pens to check my cows, so I always try to

let him lead the way.

He also let me know how much he enjoys when my husband returns home on the weekends, which

is easy to understand as my husband gives him lots of attention and belly rubs.

They seem to have a special manly bond.

We all want to contribute and we all need a purpose.

Recognizing and appreciating that need in our pets can establish an even deeper bond

and level of understanding between us.

Some may be here to comfort, others for protection, to nurture, or to be playful and lighten the

mood of those around them or for a combination of all of these.

Animal Communication Exercises

Here is an exercise that you can try either in the presence of your pet or not, it really

doesnt matter.

That is the beauty of animal communication: they are telepathic, so a connection is easy

to make.

From a relaxed state, after inhaling and exhaling a few deep breaths, feel your love for your

pet in your heart.

Spend a few moments in this awareness.

Picture them in your mind.

If you are with your pet, you can place a hand upon them, but you want both you and

your pet to be relaxed.

I also like to sometimes rest my forehead upon their forehead.

I feel a strong, calming connection with my dogs during this time.

Now grow this feeling of love and appreciation.

Feel this love expand out from you until you are surrounded in this beautiful feeling.

You can imagine it as a specific colour too if you like, such as pink or green.

Now imagine your pet.

Imagine their energy, their light, surrounding them.

Wait a moment, and then imagine your energies merging and blending together in a bubble,

or being joined together by a cord.

Ask them if you could ask a question, or if there is anything that they would like you

to know.

You do not have to speak out loud, as they are telepathic and will hear you loud and

clear.

It is probable that their answer will be in the form of pictures, much like a movie, as

that is often how they communicate.

But you may hear their words as well.

For me, Sidda communicates with her voice, which is lovely and sweet, like she is.

And for Chubs, he communicates with pictures.

He simply shows me what he is thinking, and it is easy for me to understand him that way.

This place of love and understanding is a beautiful space to tell your pet how much

you appreciate them, and show them pictures of all of the things they do that you love

and appreciate about them.

If you have just recently adopted this pet, it would be nice to let them know that this

will be their forever home and that they can relax.

Sometimes animals also become frustrated because they are unsure of what we want from them,

so perhaps letting them know that you want them to be happy would be a comfort to them

as well.

If you are having behavioural issues with your pet, be sure not to picture what you

are not happy with, as this will confuse them.

Instead, focus on their good behaviour or on what you woud like to see.

For example, do not picture them relieving themselves on your carpet.

Picture them relieving themselves outside, or if you have a cat, in a litterbox.

If communication doesnt happen easily at first, dont worry.

Using our intuition is like a muscle that needs to be worked and practiced.

Patience is important here as this is a form of communication that animals often dont

expect us to use.

They will likely be a little surprised and caught off guard by you the first time.

Try not to overthink the process, and with most answers from our intuition, the first

one is usually the correct one.

Feel with your heart and use your imagination.

Sometimes just the intent that you would like to talk with your pet is enough to have their

message come through and this even works for pets who have already passed on.

A Dog Named Hobo

Not long ago I had a dog named Hobo.

I had found him abandoned on the side of the road as a pup.

Several years ago he developed a lump on his side and a few days later he went missing.

I knew in my heart that he had found a peaceful place to leave this world, but I couldnt

find him anywhere.

So one night before bed, I stated in my mind, Hobo, I love you and miss you, and I would

like to say goodbye to you. That night I had a dream of him.

He walked up to me in the dream, wagging his tail, looking happy and healthy.

I petted him and hugged him and then loaded him up in the back of my truck so that he

could have a ride with his face in the breeze, which was something he always loved to do.

I was so grateful for that dream as it gave me peace.

Not long after that, I did find Hobo.

He was laying peacefully beneath an oak tree in my pasture.

I buried him beneath that oak tree.

He and Sidda had been very close, as I had got them only a couple of months apart.

Sidda has also let me know how she still misses him.

Its interesting though, because Chubs in many ways is very similar to Hobo and has,

in a sense, taken over the same responsibilities here on my farm.

Sharing Grief

I came back to my family farm almost 8 years ago, and moved into an empty house on my grandparents

yard.

I enjoyed living close to my grandparents for a couple of years before health problems

forced them both to move into care homes.

My grandpa always had dogs throughout his entire life, and they were always incredibly

loyal to him.

He always talked to them and showed them lots of love.

So, when he had to leave the farm due to his advanced Alzheimers, I was heartbroken,

and so was his loyal dog, Trixer.

She became very depressed and wouldnt leave her house.

My heart ached for her.

I went over to her house and sat with her one evening, and as my tears disappeared into

her thick, black coat, I told her how I understood how she missed my grandpa, and how I missed

him too.

I assured her that I loved her and would be there for her, and that, when she was ready,

she would be welcome over on the other side of the yard at my house, and that I could

use her help there.

After a few days, I was starting to give up hope that Trixer would ever come around.

She had never let anyone pet her but my grandpa, and I began to worry that she would just stay

hiding out, waiting for his return that would never come.

But then she surprised me; one day she walked over to my house, wagging her tail, and came

straight up to me.

I cried tears of joy for the life that was once again in her eyes.

I petted her and made sure to tell her and my other dogs, Sidda and Hobo, that this was

Trixers home now too.

Trixer became as loyal to me as she had been to my grandpa.

It felt like we were grieving for him together, and healing together as well.

We were giving one another hope and comfort.

Trixer only lived for another 6 months after grandpa went into care, but it was a special

time that I will never forget.

She walked with me faithfully, wherever I went, and followed my all-terrain vehicle

across the pastures as I checked my cattle.

She seemed to become like a pup again that summer.

But, one cool morning, late in the fall, she was not outside my front door as she usually

was.

I found her in her old dog house over by my grandpas old house.

She looked tired, and I knew that she would pass soon.

I could feel that her heart was playing out.

The next day, I found her sleeping near my garden.

She let me know that she wanted to move on so that she could be there for my grandpa

when his time comes.

I stayed with her as much as I could, and that evening she passed on while in my arms.

As I held her body, I noticed that she had chosen the only point in the whole yard where

you can see both my grandpas house, and mine.

She was wanting to look out for both of us, even as she passed.

My grandpa passed within the year.

I buried Trixer beneath an oak tree that overlooks my garden, and I will often take a break from

my work there and sit in the shade of the oak, thinking of Trixer and thanking her for

the wonderful gifts that she gave me.

Last Thoughts

There is no wrong way to communicate with your pet, so dont be afraid to experiment

or tweak things until you find what feels right for you.

And dont be surprised if you start to receive their messages even when you are not trying.

Once the pathways are opened, communication can flow.

Your pet is with you for a reason.

You have chosen one another.

So have fun and enjoy honouring your pet and their beautiful purpose here and their shared

journey with you!

BREAKING: Tim Allen Just Got GREAT NEWS About "Last Man Standing" - Duration: 3:45.

The Leftists in entertainment just can't stand the fact that most Americans don't

agree with their degenerate values.

When they see a conservative program enjoying huge success, they immediately try to stamp

it out.

That's why ABC canceled their popular Tim Allen sitcom Last Man Standing despite its

high ratings.

It's a show that appeals to conservative audiences.

Now viewers may have good news.

Cable Network CMT is exploring the possibility of picking up the show (via Breitbart).

CMT is in talks with 20th Century Fox TV, the studio that makes Last Man Standing.

This could be an ideal arrangement since CMT currently airs reruns of the show.

It's also revived a canceled ABC program before — the country music drama Nashville.

The actors' contracts expire in two weeks.

To work out a deal, 20th Century Fox TV would have to pick up the options on those contracts.

It would be a big expense for CMT, but one that would have a big payoff.

Last Man Standing was ABC's second-highest-rated comedy, despite airing on the slow Friday

night time slot.

So far, insiders are saying the deal is a "long-shot."

The fate of the popular series is up in the air.

If CMT can pull it off they would certainly draw in a large and loyal fanbase to their

station.

A petition to bring back the show got nearly 400,000 signatures in a single month.

Viewers were outraged the show was canceled almost immediately after the announcement.

To terminate such a widely popular program makes no business sense for a TV network.

ABC apparently wants to change up its Friday night line-up to make it sci-fi and fantasy

oriented.

They're going to be using Friday night for their fantasy series Once Upon a Time and

the Marvel show Inhumans.

But it's always hard for networks to get good numbers on Friday nights.

Why mess with proven success for possible failure?

And why not simply continue Last Man Standing in another time slot or on another night?

None of it makes any business sense, but that's because this wasn't a business decision

for ABC.

It was an ideological decision.

ABC doesn't mind losing money as long as it takes out one of the few conservative shows

on TV.

They're happy to be rid of Tim Allen, who's a declared conservative and Trump supporter,

and who attended the president's inauguration in January.

Remember, ABC is a station that's fully against President Trump.

Just watch a few minutes of their news coverage.

it's the same old Leftist nonsense.

Also, ABC is owned by Disney, which has become a progressive brainwashing machine for young

people.

Disney properties routinely shove depraved PC garbage down kids' throats while denigrating

traditional values.

Unfortunately, Disney has turned some of our favorite cultural icons — like Star Wars

and Marvel Comics — into Left-wing propaganda.

They're doing a huge disservice to fans everywhere, who just want quality entertainment

free of liberal bias.

Conservatism will win the day.

Whether CMT revives Last Man Standing or not, Tim Allen is enjoying massive success.

And ABC is alienating millions of TV viewers.

They're taking themselves on the road to financial ruin.

Serves them right.

Boycott them and teach them what happens when you try to stifle free speech!

Do you support Tim Allen?

Would you want to see Last Man Standing revived?

Please share this news and tell us what you think!

NOKTA Impact little review

First I want to thank you Viking Company for good price.

Also Green Camo company.

NOKTA Impact.

I was spend a little time with this machine.

I was sceptic with first contact with Impact...

Now I know that I was wrong...

I will made new movies also about Impact.

This is my favourite machine at this moment.

I really love this sweet soft audio.

I'm impress.

This is not my opinion only.

Many peoples can confirm it too.

My good pal Mariusz can confirm it also.

Excellent audio line.

In my opinion even better than XP Deus.

Soft and easy to use not like digital and hard to stand with XP Deus.

Nokta has soft tones, maybe little worst audio description for edge effects.

You can work with it longer if you compare to Deus.

I'm working in kind of mixed mode: GEN (D).

Is similar to Delta Pitch from XP Deus.

We can full modulated tones in static and disc mode.

We can hear shape, depth and kind of item.

If you have rusty iron or coin you get sweet smooth tones.

So work with this audi is awesome.

Very big advantage of this machine.

This feature work in heavy iron fested or trash dump area.

With Impact you get very fast recovery speed.

From one hole I get often few items...

This really works.

Depth. Next factor.

I was use today DEEP program...

Very noisy, for slow - mole mode work only. But very, very deep also!

I waas test it in my old place. Where I was found old big russian silver coin.

Place was heavy searched before.

I was test it this place with other brands in past.

Very difficult area to search.

I was found another coin today... with Impact.

Bog, fat silver coin.

But before with other brands nothing. With Impact - DEEP program - success!

It was 50 cm from last big silver coin!

Depth 30 cm!

I need to check and examine what this coin is. Coins was in bad shape.

I was search this place very good before! I was sure that I don't find nothing.

This place was hunted many times before! By me and other persons too!

For me this unit works very good!

I'm shocked.

Again.

Very good, fasst audio with super item description.

You can work with it many hours.

If you learn it, you can easy recognize item kind.

You can easy to hear coins, or other items and choose what you want to dig.

Screw caps. You can easy recognize them, but you should always dig it.

Why?

Because, some coins are very near this ID!

So remember: Always dig it!

Some peoples says: I can recognize pull tab... not you can't!

Why?

Because, coin can lay on edge, or ground conditions can change. Or other item can mask good signal.

Sweep speed can change ID value also.

If you want to find something interesting item, you should to dig it!

Build quality is not top...

Is good...

This ugly foam is my modification.

I was glue it for my arm rest working comfort and to reduce arm rest play with my tiny arms...

This grip is also not good for your wrist. But you can work with it few hours.

You can't adjust grip angle anyway.

What about batteries?

I was little afraid about working time.

I have rechargeables now and works good. 3 hunts and 40% of power still.

Next thing headphones.

Wireless Makro Racer 2. Works perfect! I love it.

Maybe Nokta offer it soon.

You have wireless transmitter inside of Impact.

I love this machine, This is my first metal detector now.

In my opinion better than XP Deus.

Better audio, but Deus still shine in trashy environment.

If I need to choose, I choose Impact.

Deus has better edge effects in harsh environment with tones of trashes.

You can choose what you like!

And next advantage.

No ground filters adjustment!

Each program has independent adjustments and you can't to change it! This is right way.

Simplicity!!!

So we have only few adjustments only.

Only few.

Notch, disc., gain, sat... and few more.

So, we need to choose right program.

I'm using also static and mixed mode programs.

This is very interesting idea. To work in all metal mode without discrimination!!!

You can adjust discrimination with GEN (D).

And we have delta pitch, and super modulated audio.

This mixed mode works perfects even with not easy hunting area.

The same with static mode too.

We have also other programs.

We can choose number of tones by each program.

And few more programs. For higher mineralization for example!

Many program, simple unit to adjust. In my opinion number one machine today.

EXPLORING THE HAUNTED TUNNEL 😱 (THE RAKE) - Duration: 14:17.

so this started I was a funny video guys but we really weren't prepared for what

we were going to find in these tunnels you're gonna have to watch it see looks

like they don't follow you but we have a major issue Jake what is it today make

it this should we have ever had you might have to hold every day there's

a new way to jail this isn't just one of our normal issues look we have a serious

problem at hand there are dope in the woods they are

house look what I don't I know how to say those two I thought only YouTube

videos online Lance Stewart the face guys being

haunted they're just clipping they're not real don't start real then I went on

to ghost hunters form 69 calm and I use their online map and I found out that we

have one of the most haunted woods in the whole country right behind our house

looking we cannot run a YouTube channel with dull stuff we have to stop them how

are we going to stop the ghost jig I've prepared it today we're canceling

everything on our own which agree having so many video I don't care okay this is

more important loaded with the 24 hour floating box for jinx if we give you a

24 hour floating box sport when we're dead so from today I am no longer Papa

Jake and ghost hunter Gary or put an end to these costs available to live here

I've got flashlights for when we entered the tunnel headlamp tunnel which is are

hiding their main character will have the GoPro footage here so we can record

everything extra life we have the nicest things get hairy Jake you can't use a

knife against it goes suck them up with this we have the back here we also have

maps like I guess your side so you have to put this on what's the math for one

word Logan go strikes if you get as far as eyes you'll be possessed there's no

telling what you'll do to its state all right I also have this here I saw it on

Bear Grylls website we have to survive in these woods we need something to make

fire with the cake man this is like this is all a little crazy like do we really

need all this stuff Stewart was crazy when he was possessed

by a ghost you think the babe clan was crazy this isn't crazy Logan

this is survival

alright guys so we just got to the woods and this is where apparently there have

been spottings of some haunted stuff going down now we're doing it during the

day and I know what you guys are saying Pappa Jake why don't you go during 3

a.m. or sometime where it's a lot scarier well I don't think I'm ready for

that I don't either so here's the deal guys we will go back and we will do

another one of these videos at 3 a.m. if we get a look at how many likes I don't

know guys we're gonna need a lot of light right now I guess 5,000 lights we

will come back and we will do this at 3mp alright guys you always got to check

you guys know underneath dude what does it look Delvin moves I can't grab men or

something basically guys we gotta be scared of like a few things there's

ghosts ok that's that's just a given but what

we don't know is there could be Rat Man there could be the rake there's some

other creatures that we don't know about that might be down here we're alive I

could be like guys tell me if you see anything if you hear anything so that we

can know but Logan you got to be really careful because at any moment dude even

in the woods you don't know like down there there could be alright now I ask

exactly so we gotta be on point your wood basically we're going to be heading

over to an abandoned pipe that we found and that's where we're gonna go and look

somebody water oh dude that doesn't look at yo there's like actual footprints

here yellow again there's a turtle what oh my god okay okay I'm sorry I'm sorry

I'm not scary yo there could be two Nutri ninja turtles in the pipe we're

heading into guys so we're currently walking we know the location of an

abandoned pipe there's been some like rumors surrounding the pipe some people

say that it reach into the sewer system other people have been saying that it

just goes nowhere beyond the fact that it might be haunted there could also be

the real risk of danger in there guys this is definitely going to be very

scary to come back to this place at night so maybe you don't like the video

in fact you don't want just turn the video off don't even like it

still plaza more like motor oh man with that what is that

Jake jinkin I'm not touching I did as weird stuff keeping for the Aventa types

this one particular chicken blood lots of the bushes man Jake we have to cross

the river all right guys so I just want to give you an update as to what is

going on with these woods there's been a lot of reports and newspaper articles

published of children going missing kids would come down into the woods to play

and they would never come out and no one really knows what happened to them where

they went things that would show that someone had

been living in these woods and someone was here quite frankly we don't know

what happened to the kids and that ruby-spears made okay we're gonna have

to like somehow make it to better give me just dude look at that tree it looks

like I don't think I like you were like driving Haley's this one finger the

rarity shows up in that if something goes up in their room how do we go

there's like it's like a cable oh yeah there's definitely tracks

you know what is that look in those watch out don't don't go in there you

don't know what's in that don't know what's in there you see anything I know

maybe you should just keep going guys you know check that out guys you'll pass

the flashlight I'm going in all right guys we're gonna uh take a look up in

here yo there's definitely some weird stuff going on in here guys guys I don't

know very much about the war of the rake in fact I don't know a lot about the

rake other than what he looks like but if you guys think this might be some

sort of raked cavern maybe some place where he lives

let me know down below definitely got some weird prints in here Logan look

right there there's definitely some weird places

where something's been in here some form of animal spit in here and they're

clawing out that hallmark dude that's a massive claw mark girl yo guys I don't I

don't really feel comfortable being in here I think we got to keep moving this

is not a place you want to be right now this place is just way too sketchy I

think we need to come back here at 3:00 a.m. because whatever it is is out right

now but I don't want to wait for it to get back

maybe it's the beginning of the tunnel it could be we push record there's

something really creepy over there yo I'm starting to feel like quick weird

man like I'm not you kidding guys I'm like starting to feel like like scared

but it's like it's different kind of scared it's like somebody doesn't want

us to go in that tunnel and your work that rope for maybe 50 foreplay on it

what kids where do they go I'll look you should touch that I don't know man like

coming back here at 3:00 a.m. might be a very bad idea

yo what can you guys see that I don't know if I can see it from here like we

came here to hunt go you're Gary the goat son it just your dryer you'd be

right I'm Gary the goats honor got across here yo Jake what's that white

stuff what the heck is up here guys there is some weird stuff all right guys

this is the part of the video where I can't actually get down into this just

great so we're gonna have to review the footage when we get home but we're going

to try and put it down here so we can't find Steve whatever's in there it's

producing a lot of white stuff and this is freaking me out all right guys you're

going to need to let us know what you see down there we're going to review the

footage later

we're gonna find wait Logan I almost forgot I brought a

secret weapon all on my phone I got us two ghost hunting equipment these are a

few apps they measure EMP and measure EBP ESP all that stuff

that is what you used to detect goat all right there we go guys you VP levels are

spiking bro when you apply a few filters and note it it's going to give us a

better view of any sort of weird stuff going on oh my god it looks so creepy

alright guys so I'm going to keep monitoring the radar on my phone here

we're also going to be adjusting a filter onto the camera itself so you

guys see it a good idea as to if we see any ghosts or anything that's abnormal

and guys if you see anything during this if you see anything during the footage

here let us know in the comments as to what you saw or what you think you saw

do you know what's going on bro dude what the hell was that I don't know man

a sudden we heard like the weirdest noise coming from the end of the tunnel

I don't know man I don't like I'm Way too freaked out right now guys and the

fact that you guys might like this video not for us to come back at 3:00 a.m. is

Putin Offers Asylum To Leaker Comey - Duration: 7:38.

Putin Offers Asylum To Leaker Comey

by Tyler Durden

Vladimir Putin trolled the US on Thursday, when speaking in a live call-in show with

the Russian nation, the Russian president likened Comey to Edward Snowden, who was granted

asylum in Russia in 2013, and scoffed at James Comey's disclosure of his conversations with

U.S. President Donald Trump, saying the move has made Comey eligible for political asylum

in Russia.

"It looks weird when the chief of a security agency records his conversation with the commander-in-chief

and then hands it over to media via his friend," Putin was quoted by Russia's Tass.

This is strange.

What is the difference then between the FBI director and Mr. Snowden?

He is not a head of the special services, but a human rights activist.

The trolling concluded when Putin said that "by the way, if he (Comey) is subject to any

sort of persecution in connection with this, we will be ready to give him political asylum

in Russia.

And he should know about this."

Putin also said that Comey has so far presented no evidence to prove that Russia had meddled

in the U.S. presidential election, saying Washington had tried to influence Russian

elections for years.

"I am not familiar in detail with the testimony given by former FBI director Comey," Putin

said during a question and answer session with citizens.

"Again, he gave no evidence of this (Russian meddling)."

The remarks reflected Putin's growing annoyance of being the bete noir of the US media, and

with the congressional and FBI investigations into links between Trump campaign officials

and Russia, which have shattered Moscow's hopes for improving ties with Washington,

much to the delight of the US Military-Industrial Complex and, of course, NATO.

Predictably, the Russian president once again reiterrated his denial of meddling in the

U.S. election, saying that Russia has openly expressed its views and hasn't engaged in

any covert activities.

Continuing the combative mood, Putin then turned the tables on the US, saying it was

the US which has sought to influence Russian elections by funding NGOs as part of its aspirations

for global domination.

"Turn a globe and point your finger anywhere, you will find American interests and interference

there."

"And what about constant U.S. propaganda, constant U.S. support of America-oriented

non-government organisations by giving them money directly?

Isn't it an impact on our minds?

Isn't it an attempt to influence how we should behave during election campaigns?

This continues year after year," he said.

He added that many heads of state around the world had told him of similar U.S. meddling

in their internal affairs.

But they would not voice their concerns openly, fearing to "spoil relations" with Washington.

As for Russia, "we have an opinion of our own, we express it openly.

But this is not any sort of underground subversive activity", Putin said.

On a conciliatory note, Putin added that Russia still hopes for normalization of ties with

the U.S.

During the question and answer session, Putin said he did not consider the US to be an enemy

of Russia and claimed he wanted a "constructive dialogue" with Washington.

He said Moscow and Washington could cooperate in efforts to prevent the proliferation of

weapons of mass destruction and pool efforts to tackle the North Korean nuclear and missile

problem.

He said the two countries could also cooperate in dealing with global poverty and efforts

to prevent climate change.

Putin also noted that Moscow hopes that the U.S. could play a "constructive role" in helping

settle the Ukrainian crisis, an offer which we doubt will be favorably met by the Pentago.

During a tightly choreographed marathon TV show, an annual affair that lasts hours, Putin

said that Russia has climbed out of recession despite continuing Western sanctions, adding

that the restrictions have forced the country to "switch on our brains" to reduce dependence

on energy exports.

He lamented yesterday's Senate decision Wednesday to impose new sanctions on Russia as a reflection

of Western efforts to "contain" Russia, but insisted that the measures have only made

the country stronger.

As reported yesterday, the Senate voted to punish Moscow for interfering in the 2016

election by approving a wide-ranging package of sanctions that target key sectors of Russia's

economy and individuals who carried out cyberattacks.

The Senate bill follows up on several rounds of other sanctions imposed by the United States

and the European Union over Russia's annexation of Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula and its support

for pro-Russia insurgents in eastern Ukraine.

Putin argued that Russia has done nothing to warrant the Senate's move, saying it highlights

the West's policy of containing Russia and also reflects domestic infighting in the United

States.

"It's evidence of a continuing internal political struggle in the U.S.," he said.

Russia has responded to the U.S. and EU sanctions by halting most Western food imports, a move

that has helped increase Russian agricultural output.

Russian farmers have pleaded with the Kremlin to keep the import ban even if the West lifts

its sanctions, but Putin said that if "our partners lift the sanctions against our economy,

we will respond in kind."

Discussing the economy, the Russian leader claimed that the "crisis is over," pointing

at modest economic growth over the past nine months, low inflation and rising currency

reserves.

Putin said that a slump in oil prices had been a more important factor in Russia's economic

slowdown than the sanctions.

Importantly, Putin acknowledged that the Russian economy hasn't yet shed its dependence on

exports of raw materials, but noted that non-energy exports have been growing.

Putin also recognized that people's incomes have fallen and 13.5 percent of Russians now

live below the poverty line, currently equivalent to $170 per month.

Most of the questions during the show were about low salaries, decrepit housing, failing

health care and other social problems.

As in the past, Putin chided local officials for failing to provide due care for people

and ordered them to quickly fix the flaws.

Even before the show ended, local officials rushed to report that they are looking into

the problems.

Putin also offered a glimpse into his closely guarded private life, saying he has two grandchildren

whose privacy he wants to respect.

Putin, who in 2013 announced on state television that he was divorcing his wife, has two daughters

in their early 30s who haven't been seen in public for years and became the subject of

rumors.

One of Putin's daughters was reported to be in charge of a lucrative project to build

a Silicon Valley-like community under the auspices of Moscow State University.

Putin said during the show that both of his daughters live in Moscow and "work in science

and education."

He said one of his grandchildren goes to pre-school and the other, a boy, has just been born.

He said he doesn't want to give details about his family for fear of hurting their privacy.

Review of Dark Days | The Forge - Duration: 4:28.

The next big mystery of the DC Universe is here; and the world's greatest detective

is already on the case.

You may think that the Button just happened and that enough for you right now.

But this event written by Scott Snyder is one you won't want to miss.

KraKatow!!!

A volcano erupts in the middle of the ocean.

And Batman is trying to save the life of the lone survivor.

The King of the oceans rushes to help.

The man is saved.

But Aquaman has questions.

It wasn't luck that Batman was there to save this man.

That guy was a Wayne Enterprises employee doing off-the-books research into a metal.

And Aquaman wants to know why it is Batman is drilling in his oceans in such secrecy.

But Batman offers no answers.

He knows what Atlantis has hidden in the depths of the ocean and instead asks what are they

hiding?

As he looks up to a cloaked ship that then vanishes from the sight.

Aqauman isn't the only Justice League member to question Batman's mysterious investigation.

Next is Green Lantern.

Green Lantern goes to the Batcave on a secret mission form Ganthet to stop Batman from revealing

secrets that are best kept buried.

When Hal gets there Batman isn't around.

Instead he is surprised by Duke who has been left by Batman to guard the Cave from everyone

including the Batfamily.

And since Yellow isn't a weakness to Green Lantern's ring Duke poses no threat to Hal

and he tosses him aside as Hal finds a secret cave inside the BatCave.

Duke tags along.

In this secret area of the Batcave a voice calls out to them telling them secrets and

explaining that Batman is obsessed with the mysteries of a mysterious metal.

While Batman continues his investigation slowly involving many members of the DC Universe.

Next is Mr. Terrific in the Batcave that's on the moon.

Then to the Fortress of Solitude where he has a secret room not even Superman goes into.

It has a lock that no human could unlock so he has Mister Miracle unlock it then leaves

him.

And Batman stands there in front of a tower that is giving of Dark Energy.

As Batman stands there analyzing it; the voice in the Batcave calling out to Green Lantern

and Duke is revealed to be the Joker.

Is this one of the three Jokers?

Does this story come after the War of Jokes and Riddles?

What is this mysterious metal?

These are the questions I have for the next issue.

Subscribe if you like this story.

That last page reveal was a shocker.

I was so surprised to see the Joker again.

I've been waiting for this since last years announcement that there were three Jokers.

I think it is real fitting for Scott Snyder to be the one writing the tale of the 3 Jokers.

Although I know the name of this event is Metal.

But honestly after seeing that last page all I could think of is the Joker's connection.

The story was good and I love Scot Snyder as a writer for Batman.

His New 52 run is of my favorite Batman runs.

The problem with multiple artists on a book is the multiple art styles.

It didn't distract me while I was originally reading it because the story held my attention

so well.

But when I reread it.

I noticed that I loved some of the panels more than others.

What I don't get is what is Hawkman's connection to this.

Hawkman wrote a warning in his diary about looking into this metal as it ould only bring

horrors.

And of course Batman isn't one to heed a warning but I don't get why Hawkman is involved

in the first place.

Hawkman got his abilities or curse from Nth metal.

We know what metal that is.

So I doubt that it's the same metal or else someone should have said something.

I mean this metal is connected to many enchanted relics such as Dr. Fate's helmet and Aquaman's

Trident.

Hawkman's been exposed to those before and should have known a connection.

Let me know what you think this mysterious metal is down in the comments.

One other thing I like that the Outsiders were referenced.

Although that isn't the version I used to read.

I did like the Outsiders so its fun to see that.

I wonder if they will get a book out of this.

I wonder if this will lead to a new universe?

I know this is supposed to be about the Dark Multiverse but I believe it starts in the

main DC Universe.

Do you agree let me know if you think this is a different universe or if it'll end

in a different universe.

And please give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it.

Thanks for watching and til next time.

Interview with Taylor Meyer | Terry Bryant Scholarship Winner - Duration: 12:09.

Well, good afternoon.

My name is Cindy Speaker, and I am delighted today to get to interview Taylor Meyer.

Taylor is the 2016 Terry Bryant Scholarship winner.

I can't wait to show you her presentation because it's phenomenal.

Let me tell you also that Taylor was the valedictorian of her class.

She is now gone along and started at Cornell University for chemical engineering.

Taylor, thanks for being with us today.

Oh, it's a pleasure to be here.

Well, Taylor, as you know, we talked briefly before we started here, but I think your presentation

is fantastic.

We're gonna show it in just a minute.

Actually, I'll have you tell us about it after we've seen it so the people understand the

concept.

First of all, tell us a little bit about you, who you are, and how you came to enter this

particular scholarship contest.

Okay.

My name's Taylor.

I am now at Cornell studying chemical engineering.

I'm involved in alternative energy in a group called ESW at campus.

I really, really, before coming to Cornell, was struggling to find a way to fund school.

My Mom told me to look out for that.

I had part-time jobs, but the scholarships in general really seemed to help.

I found the Terry Bryant one.

I thought of this idea.

I thought it would work.

I did have some film experience prior to, so I took that and combined it.

That's how I applied for this scholarship.

Let me say to those that are watching now, the scholarship ... and tell us about the

topic.

The topic was about distracted driving.

I, myself, being a teenager, knew all about distracted driving and the problems with cell

phone usage, and how you think you can handle driving and talking and texting at the same

time, when you really can't.

I thought, "What better way to apply that with film and [inaudible 00:02:24], loves

and just real life examples of what happens when in the car."

Yeah, yeah.

Do you feel like distracted driving in your age group ... and obviously I'm a whole lot

older ... But in your age group, is distracting driving something that you guys talk about,

or is it just we older people that talk about it?

I know it's definitely something that we always seem to miss.

I know sometimes you're in the car with someone and you see them using your phone.

You get a little bit apprehensive because you're like, "I don't know about that.

Do you want me to use the phone?"

There's a boundary you don't want to cross with your friend.

Interesting, interesting.

Well, let's go ahead and watch the presentation.

Then I'm gonna have you talk about it afterwards.

So let's go ahead and roll that.

Hey.

Want to play with me?

Yeah.

Selfie.

I hope you don't drive like that when I'm in the car.

Okay, Taylor, honestly, I think that's a fabulous presentation.

Tell me about it.

Tell us how you came up with it, and how you chose that type of media 'cause it's very

interesting.

Okay, because I did say I did have experience in film, we had learned about stop motion.

Stop motion, a popular thing to do as legos just because they're tiny little people.

They're easy to move.

With that in mind, I thought of distracted driving and I thought there wasn't a better

concept to mesh with because what more of a simple example could legos be?

I mean, they're destructible.

You can see the real life consequences, what happens when you're on the phone.

With my little sister, my little brother, I made the connection to like ... Not only

does distracted driving affect you, but those around you as well.

Yeah, yeah.

I think it's great.

I'm proud of you.

I don't even know you, but I'm like, "Wow, this is quite an interesting young lady."

You're a role model.

I can see that already and I've just met you.

Do you think about that at all?

Do you have any cognizance of the fact that you're a role model, and probably other young

people look up to you.

Do you ever think about that?

Not very often.

I know I have two younger siblings, but it kind of just slips my mind sometimes.

Yeah, yeah.

Well, let's talk a little bit more about what advice you would give to young people.

I think that the things that you've accomplished already in your young life, I think that you

would have some really valuable lessons to share with younger people, even like your

siblings.

Can you think of things that maybe stick out to you as far as ... These are things you

just need to know that will help you in life.

Well, one thing that's really struck with me or staying with me is in, I think it was,

8th grade year, I was learning geometry in middle school.

I was really having a hard time with it.

It was one of the hardest math classes I had ever taken.

I was like, "Nothing's gonna get tougher than geometry."

I'm in college now, and nothing was tougher than geometry.

For all of kids out there struggling with geometry, I promise it gets better.

That's quite a thing to stay with.

Well, you know, that's interesting, when I was in high school, I really liked algebra,

but geometry was like Greek to me.

Don't you think that those two are really different.

It's like ... Oh, they are, You-

You probably liked algebra too, right?

Yes, I did, I did.

Yeah, algebra's great, but geometry is like, "What are theorems and all this?"

I'm like, "I just don't get it."

Tell us a little bit about your career goals because chemical engineering, that's a pretty

big profession to get into.

What are you looking towards doing as you go through your college years and get beyond

that?

Well, with chemical engineering, I'm looking towards the future.

With that in mind, alternative energy is the big things that I want to focus on.

It's what I've been studying particularly in school, the chemical applications in real

life situations.

Okay, that's interesting.

Tell me a little more about that because I'm not familiar with what is current in terms

of that conversation about alternative energy.

What types of things are you looking at?

Well, there's a lot of things in cells, solar cells, that have to do with the applications,

the kind of materials you use, and all that has to go back to chemistry.

What is the most efficient?

What can you do to make the cell better?

What kind of other alternative energy is there out there?

There's biofuels, there's different types of cells we can use.

It's ever reaching.

It's graphs, and that's something I really want to focus on towards the future.

Wow, wow, that's really interesting.

I would say that that is over my head, but very interesting.

Let me go back for a minute to distracted driving because I'm always curious, what do

young people think that ... I mean, do you ever think about the fact that in relative

to distracted driving, you know there tends to be a stereotype that people tend to think

that young people are more guilty of distracted driving than older people.

But it was very interesting the other day, I interviewed a lawyer.

What he said, he said, "Here's the thing.

The young people are so text savvy, that they're not the ones that get into the accidents as

much because it's the older ... " He said he had a 16 year old son.

He said, "Look, when I try and send a text message, it may me a minute.

My son does it in two seconds."

What would you say to older people relative to the stereotypes that tend to exist for

young people and distracted driving?

Well, there's definitely a misconcept ... There's definitely a disconnect where everyone thinks

it's the younger children or kids distracted driving.

I definitely see my Mom trying to text and talk to people at the wheel.

But just to figure out who she wants to text, where they are, what button to press to open

it, I'll see her to do something.

It's just a lot more than when I'm doing it.

There's definitely a gap between the time it takes and you lose.

That's really interesting.

You just kind of threw your Mom under the bus.

Maybe we'd better- Don't tell her.

We won't tell her.

I'm sure she's so proud of you that she really doesn't even mind.

Well, let me tell you, and again with lawyers, and obviously Terry Bryant is a law firm.

Terry Bryant is a lawyer.

His law firm, they deal a lot with accidents and often they do occur from distracted driving

type issues.

What do you know about the law firm?

How do you feel that his work is important?

As a young person, do you look at that type of thing and say, "We really need this."

How do you feel about that?

Well, I can just tell that by the way Terry Bryant has funded scholarships for kids to

go to school, and have them create stories, presentations about distracted driving, I

know he really cares about its impact to society and how he wants the younger generation to

get involved and to make a difference.

I thinks that's really good for a law firm to just benefit the greater good and reach

out.

That's always important in the community.

I think they're doing really well as a law firm.

That's great and much appreciated.

Anything you want to say to him personally that I can pass along for ya?

Oh, well, thanks, Terry, for giving me this opportunity to go to school and helping me

fund education.

It's really meant a lot to me.

Taylor, thank you so much for being with us today.

I think you're a wonderful young lady.

You're a role model.

I think your presentation was phenomenal.

You executed it perfectly.

We're so proud to get to talk with you today.

Thanks for your time.

Thank you so much, Cindy.

Have a great day.

You too.

Bye now.

Next Stop: The Budget - Duration: 2:53.

Brad Miller: Happy Friday everybody, you know, I'm trying to ride the bus all month to

see how much money I can save.

PSTA is doing the same thing, with this budget we are preparing, we are looking at ways we

can be more efficient and to save money.

Debbie Leous: Welcome to budget season.

This is where we insure that everyone is going to come in with a balanced budget to meet

our goals, to be fiscally responsible, and to do more with less.

Michael Hanson: Hi, my name is Michael Hanson.

I am the Director of Finance here at PSTA.

My role during budget season is to help everyone, with their budget request this time of the

year, and help keep them on track with their spending patterns, so we can be resourceful

and be fiscally responsible with our budget here at PSTA.

Cassandra Borchers: Here in the planning department, everyone pitches in when it comes to making

sure the organization is efficiently run as well as bringing new money into our agency.

On the scheduling side, Christine and her team look at our schedules to make sure that

are services out on the road are efficient.

And Heather and her team always bring in new dollars, whether that's grant funding or

to build new projects.

James Bradford: Here in operations, we have the largest workforce in all of PSTA with

our collective bargaining employees.

Salary and fringe benefits account for one of the largest line items in PSTA's budget.

Through optimal employment practices, we are able to achieve or service needs without over

hiring, by paying out more overtime we can fill the balance.

We can realize a cost savings though minimizing benefit costs, thereby, not only meeting our

budgetary goals, but also giving our union workforce an opportunity to earn more.

Cyndi Rskin-Schmitt: And here in the marketing department, we have a very limited budget,

so we have to make effective use of those dollars.

Some of the things we do is strong storytelling with our local press, so we get media stories

in the newspaper and on TV.

We are also able to save a lot of money by doing the majority of the graphic design work

in house, rather than outsourcing it.

And we also interact directly with our customers and the public using social media, which is

free or very low costs to reach a large number of people.

Debra Woodward: The current projects that we are working on, is our reginal fare collection

project.

We are partnering to save money with our other agencies including HART.

This project consists of the Flamingo app as well as the smart card, which will be used

at both transit agencies, and in the future the other agencies in the region.

Henry Lukasik: One of the innovative cost saving plans that we will be embarking on,

as you can see behind me, is to take our 210 fare boxes, and rather than replace them,

we are going to rebuild them.

This will extend their useful life another five to ten years, and will result in cost

savings of approximately 2.6 million dollars.

Michael: Oh no, I printed two pages… and in color.
