let´s go to the ramps start, forgetting about ATC protocols
first of all I will close the canopy because I love the danger... in case the plane start burning I want be in more troubles , you can keep it open to easy scape, and in this way I stop some external noise and you can hear to me clearly
tell you first of all a bug, the light console, when the plane is off,
the flood light and the engine instrument light are swapped
start with the battery, turn it on, and now ask for the ground creo to put on the chocks
meanwhile I turn on the radio for ATC protocols but I will not perform the ATC contact
with the squelch you can adjust the volume
set the frequency a preset... whatever you need
radio on, now it´s time for the generators both of them
now again with the ground crew we ask about connect and supply air power
we need this air power to start the engine since the plane do not have APU
the rpm are now raising
with radio and air connected, we´ll start the left engine with this console and this button
left click a few seconds, and the with the key alt Gr+start you put the left throttle to idle position
you can hear the engine starting and we have to watch the parameters to keep it in the record for anomalies
you can check the exact values using shit+k with the kneeboard
this first page you can configure it before ramp start
with the keys [ and ] you can change the page to see the checklist I downloaded this ones from DCS page
there are the parameters with the numbers
the utilities are now with hydraulic power on
using the brakes you can see how the needle change
now with the generators on we can use external lighting
and the internal ones as you need and want
you can also turn on the weapons panel lights
now it´s time to turn on the right engine, we could say to the ground crew
to supply air power to the other engine but I will start it with out the air supply power
for that I will ask to the creo to disconnect the air supply
I can also turn on the light of this compass
now the air supply is disconnected, now to perform the crossbleed start, with the active engine we have to set 95% rpm
when up to 70% the engine will bleed air to the other engine but you need extra air for that that 95% total
95...
because we have the cocks there is no problem but you can apply some pressure to the brake if you want
now just go to start engine, push a few seconds
and shift right + start you set the idle position and the engine start as same as before
wach the parameters and the aux doors simbol
will be open due both engines are on
I forget to activate the fuel boost pump for each engine
both engines are now feeded only by gravity because I forgot to turn on the pumps
now I can go the engines to idle
when you are flight the pump must be on to avoid the effects of the negative gs and always feed the engines with fuel
the left for the left engine and right for the right engine, turn it on when you have the batteries connected
the crossfeed only when balance or feed the engine that has a pump damaged
do not forget this step as I did to avoid have problems in mid air

both engines in parameters
the hydraulic power is on also
if you move the stick the hydraulic have small movement in the needle
now it´s time for activate other systems
I don remember if I forgot the light test also... lol
there is the light test check all lights on
this test must be done before start the engines to know if all warning lights are good
sorry again
let´s activate the radar in stb mode
you will see the radar scope get some light
and now you can set the light parameters brightness...
activate the dampers in pitch and yaw , it´s a kind of accumulator to make soft the movement
set the chaff flare programs as needed
now we can set the tacan down here
set the channel , and turn it on in T/R
all breakers are in
ok
I don´t know if it is implemented that a breaker get out... but it´s good habit to check if all are in
set the tacan volumen as you need
and the horizontal instruments set on the back up one and configure it as needed, normally -3 degrees
to set -3 degree I set the up position of the aux. gear that make the nose goes up and get those 3 degrees
and again the aux gear go to normal to perform the taxi
we can also turn on the up panel light
and activate the HUD if needed
activate the RwR and we wait a few sect until the scope full active
now we have to test the oxygen mask,
turn on, normal and mask test. Left click is the test not the emergency sorry
the flow indicator windows remain white, that is ok
with this button on the right we can perform the fuel and oxygen quantity test
with right click , you can see the needles going down and the warning light on
I thin in the warning panel must turn of the fuel low lights but looks like is not....
now with left click we reset the lecture to the real one
be sure the oxygen is ok
The iff is not implemented in DCS, you can play with it, just for fun turn it on, set the iff number... the modes
you can perform a light test, because the knob is on off, the lights not turn on
this you can make the functionality tes in the upper position of the switch or just configure it out xD
because the IFF is not implemented configure it as you want
now when we start taxi we will turn on the PITOT
we keep it deactivated because could be overheated due the lack of air cooling
now that the RwR have the scope full on, we can perform the TEST, jucl click here and keep it a few second until the test starts
when the test start we can release the button
test ok
now a dumpers test, you have to use this level of the stick
once I push it, the damper elevator switch and the elevators wiññ change its position
in external views will have to see the elevator move a little
the key is the A
its a really small variation...

and you can see the dumper switch is off now, turn it on again and that is the test
the radar have a test here but does nothing on the scope ... then you can leave in standby mode
remember get the correct set level as you need in that button
there is not defog implemented you can set it up you want to enjoy the sim in more ways clicking everything
the ramp start is done
now we can start taxi and go to fly
for taxi we have to turn on the taxi lights
you can see them there but looks like there's no light on them.... BUG
must be another DCS bug lol
we are ready to taxi, DO NOT TOUCH THE HOOK BUTTON, this button only eject the hook, you will not able to raise it again...
DO NOT TEST THE CHUTE
and flaps always in automatic by general rule
this was the ramp start I hope you learned one or two things
sorry for my mistakes but as you saw the ramp start can be performed without a strict order
