First of all the landing gear level, this one, to raise or extend the landing gear
this is the extended landing gear
and this one is raise landing gear
at the moment you select the position the landing gear start the change of state
as you can see, there is a white button, the pilot push that button in order to move the level
in ground when I select the raise position, nothing happens, but this yellow mark is a warning signal
this allow to raise the landing gear while in ground, ignoring the WOW and retract the landing gear
dangerous and not recommendable
for that when the level is up, nothing happen due the WOW sensor

with the light test, you will see the red light of the level
there you can see it
landing gear down, and that tree green light say the landing gear is extended
the only indication the gear is in its position, not the wheel is flated or whatever
when the gear is raised, the lights goes off in order to say the landing gear is nor locked to land
speaking about the light, that red one, turn on when you are in landing parameters and the landing gear is not down
under 10000 feet, below 190 knots and vertical speed is -250 feet/minute
that light will tell you if you are not sure if you have to extend the landing gear
in case of some failure, the landing gear works with the hydraulic system B
you can use the level, but the system will use the pneumatic power
normally the landing gear will lock correctly
but if it is not possible to extend the landing gear, there is a emergenci extend , this level over here, with left click
I unlock and with the right click you push the white button of the middle
the lift click extend the landing gear ç, and the pilot have to make special move to be sure the landing gear is locked
in BMS is not implemented but his is real life xD
une landed, you will push that white button to reset the system and use the normal level again
this level do not forced to you to have the landing gear forever down
you have to push that button to be able to raise the landing gear
the next one
for example the taxy lights
there are only 2 position but in real life there are three
taxi off and landing
landing have more light focused down to see the runway, I don´t know if there are two different laps one for landing and other for taxi
in BMS is not implemented, there is only one light
as you can see there is only on off , IRL there are 3 positions do not forget
the HORN SILENCE this only silence the warning tone when you have to have the landing down because low speed
the same sound when the landing lever have the red flashing light
with this that warning is silenced
remember the parameters, below 10000 feet, less than 190knots and a vertical speed of -250feet/sec

Cat I and Cat III
this is kind of the payload configuration of the plane, depending of the loads
when there are AG loadout will be Cat III
with external fuel except when is only the center one, also will be Cat III config
when asymmetric load out Cat III will be also needed
this limit the angle of attack to avoid go to stall
due the AOA restriction, the G load will be also restricted
but you will be able to get 9g if the AOA is not needed to be too great, this happens in hi-speed
parquin brake
the real one have 3 position but in BMS there is only two
off is no parking brak and also no anti-skid -IRL
this switch is magnetic helded , and the normal actuation is to keep it in parking brake when the plane is stopped
or anti-skid, this one is not implemented, just the anti-skid is always on in BMS
the anti-skid is kind of ABS for the cars, the anti-skid was invented before the ABS
the cars are always behind the airplane inventions
anti-skid avoid to get the wheels blocked due hi braking operations
sometimes could be interesting to turn off the anti-skid, for example with the runway covered by water
the aircraft procedures say all about this you only need to follow the books and read them
there are two brake channels in BMS there is only one
this is kind of emergency procedures when one channel do not work or something
I thin the brakes use the hydraulic system B and may be this switch switch the channel of change to be able to operate with other accumulator, I will need to see the hydraulic diagram of the plane
ground jettison enable , you can turn it on
the only function of this and could be interesting , is for the maverick when you are calibrating in ground , when you align it with the TGP view
and could be interesting activate maverick and TGP to perform that visual matching, for that you need turn on this switch
with this switch on the maverick can activate the camera
this will allow us to eject the external stores with the panic button or manually with the SMS page
there are two buttons more, the panic button, now will test it xD and the hook, first the hook
on the tail of the plane the f16 have a hook that we can lower or raise
now when using the hook button you can see the hook where it is
this is not for carrier operation because the plane is not ready for that
in BMS there is no the system to use the hook in a normal airbase
there we can not really use it as emergency procedure to use in BMS we can use it bur will be no effective

now the ground jettison enable is off, and I am going to use the panic button
using the mouse and keep it pushed for a while, you can heard the sound but nothing happend
in external view you can check all is there
the emergency jettison is not going to drop all stores, only the AG and external fuel
activating the ground jettison enable and now use the panic button and the mfd get the screen of stores in jettison mode while the panic button is pressed
you can see the panic button is now depressed and sometimes the sms page still there, when that happen just push again the panic button for a sec and release, that will solve it
as you can see we drop the pod and fuel tanks
for example the ground camera was not ejected, this is useful only for unplanned scrambles lol
time to set cat 1, and the panel is viewed
