Attracting a Healthy, Positive Tribe! - Duration: 4:21.

Attracting a Healthy, Positive Tribe!

Sipping coffee, eating dark chocolates and sharing laughs with a friend in a super cute

caf this morning my heart was overwhelmed with gratitude for the tribe Ive attracted

into my life these days Unfortunately this wasnt always the case.

In the past Ive experienced friendships that have given me anxiety, stolen my energy

and have even caused me depression.

The Law of Attraction is all about energy and energy in contagious!

When we surround ourselves with negative people they dont contribute to our life force

energy. Your life energy is precious and must be protected!

Here are a few tips on how you can use your vibe to attract a tribe of healthy, positive

people that motivate and believe in you!

Stay Grounded

Sometimes its us that we need to work on and not our negative friendships.

Before you go ditching all your friends make sure to take a look at your own attitude and

helpfulness when it comes to your friendships.

Constant drama, lies, broken plans and promises are all reasonable reasons to cut the cord

but keep in mind that sometimes friends go through phases that arent entirely positive.

Im sure you have found yourself in a place where you werent exuding energy, calmness

or success.

Remember the friends that were there for you and be mindful that sometimes being there

for each other for the bad stuff can be the most fulfilling thing we do.

Find Your Tribe

To discover your truth simply gain more wisdom!

Read books, try out a new hobby, enroll in a class, travel to a new place.

There are endless ways to self-discovery!

By gaining an abundance of knowledge you can discover more of what you like.

Getting to know more about yourself will put you in places you love allowing you to meet

like-minded people!

Protect Your Magic

Tap into your intuition when it comes to making decisions on strengthening relationships,

releasing negative friendships and reviving those that have gone stale.

Ask yourself where all your energy is going.

If you find youre continuously depleted, you may have to consider letting go of some

of the people in your daily life.

Focus your energy on strengthening the relationships that increase your overall health, success

and encourage you to live with enthusiasm.

When it comes to those friends that youve known forever but leave you in energetic debt

its time for some spring cleaning.

Sometimes when were honest with ourselves we find ourselves keeping friends out of guilt

and putting energy into people that dont give back.

Allow yourself to create space for new friendships to blossom.

If you feel in your heart its worth reviving reach out, be open, put out the energy you

want to come back to you.

A friend should bring out the best in you and it should be your intention to do the

same

in return!

7 Best FX Pedals For Synths & Keyboards ft. EHX, BOSS & More... - Duration: 21:04.

hi guys it's Gaz from p.m. TV UK and today we're going to be checking out

some fantastic effects pedals that you can use with your keyboards or your

synthesizer so when we talk about effects pedals the image that's conjured

up usually is that of a guitarist onstage madly press in different boxes

however we can use these on keyboards and synthesizers to further their sound

and really give you some extra effects and enhance your experience so most

analog synthesizers are just that an analog synthesizer there's very rarely

you find any of them with effect or any other kind of expansive features like

that often to get effect on them you have to plug them into a computer deal

with latency and try and record in real time at all possible however it's much

easier to connect an effects pedal or even a chain of effects pedals and

instantly craft your sound for live and studio use with regards to the type of

effect that you're looking for it's limitless there are so many pedals out

there from delays reverbs chorus flanger loopers distortions OverDrive's you name

it and there are multiple different kinds of each of those effects as well

so to help you narrow this down we picked the best variety of pedals that

we feel will benefit you in both keyboard and synthesizer and today we're

using the rule into FP 30 and the are to do make kubrick so two products that

aren't flashy that aren't high-end that's going to give us a good idea of

which each one of these pedals can do on a smaller budget too so this is the

electro harmonix nano small stone phase shifter it's a lovely little compact

pedal looks killer built to last and it sounds amazing

let bloggers in and give it a go

the pedals very simple there's not a lot to get lost in it so the rate knob as

you might imagine allows you to manipulate the speed at which the

frequency is sweeping and the color adds the cue and allows you to manipulate the

common filter as it's moving too what's also worth noting that the small stone

is true bypass

you

oh yeah we have the fantastic boss ds-1 you will know it you will have seen it

because it's one of the most popular pedals that's ever been made conceived

in 1978 as part of bosses second wave of impact pedals the ds1 has been

incredibly popular the ds1 has been responsible for some of the most unique

and driven tones in contemporary music so let's check it out so simplicity is

the key with the ds1 that's not taken away from its sound because it is huge

so we have a torn here this controls the tone of the distortion we have a

distortion knob this controls the actual amount of distortion and we have a level

as well which controls the overall level of the pedal

the sense still sounds nice without it let's crank it on and see how that goes

so the ds1 is a really powerful pedal perhaps a little bit too powerful to

have a full blast through a piano or a keyboard however it can get you some

really unique turns over you know get you something about edgy in a bit sharp

and something you haven't heard before maybe you could have it sitting behind

in your mech somewhere just to give it a bit more body the cathedral stereo

reverb pedal by electro-harmonix is a massive sounding reverb pedal is

seriously it's huge the only way for us to find out just how huge it is is to

plug it in and take a look and see what we can do with the keyboard and the

synthesizer

so the cathedral is the ideal pedal to get a huge sound out of whatever you use

and it really does allow you to take a mono signal or a stereo signal and just

fighting it it's awesome so more synthesizers are mono

synthesizers at least a little micro Britt we're using theirs now that can

mean that the sound although it's awesome there's space around it that can

be used up and this is exactly where this guy comes in

so the cathedral stereo reverb is really straightforward and easy to use you have

all of your reverb tapes down here you can use the mode to select them and by

pressing in the mode it takes you to a specific preset that's already on there

you can see if you don't preset on top of that the rotaries on the top of the

pedal gives you ultimate control over the sound you're trying to craft

everything from blend so changing how much is in there the reverb time damping

in torn feedback pre delay and as we mentioned the mordor's well there's also

the tap on there as well so you can keep in time and if you hold it down you've

got an infinite reverb that will go on forever

you

so let's try it out with the microbrew and see how that sounds

you

having used the cathedral paddle I am incredibly impressed with how much it

released second your sound and gives it more space so to speak it is a fantastic

way to add more depth to any of your analog gear and one of my favorite

pedals the jim dunlop many crybaby wah look at it it's awesome the thing I love

about this pedal is the fact that it's small you can fit it in a bag anywhere

take it with you and it sounds amazing you may not think that a while pedal and

a piano or a synthesizer would get along too well

however it's perfect for any little lead runs and just for adding something

different you might not expect to see any other shoe it's really

self-explanatory to use on let's control your wire and then off so try it with

the maker boot Faust it's really simple just plug in and your amplifier and job

is a good one we've just got a nice little lead patch

lined up here let's give it a go and see how it sounds

the less I have the lovely little why many in the FP 30 and see if we can get

some lovely fella sweeps on the goal with it we're going to try it on some

strings as well

the deluxe memory by by electro-harmonix is one of the most feature-rich

delay pedals that that are going around it's fully analog and they might have

control that you've got over your tone both on the rotaries and via the use of

an external expression pedal is second to none

so very simple straight across the top there we have our blend think of that as

a wet and a dry mix essentially it determines how much is going through

your signal we have our gain and remember this guy also has an effect

loop too which is handy if you want to chain up further pedals to it and use it

with your amplifier we have the rate which is the rate at which the delay is

happening we have depth which means you can get some Coover bra or and kind of

quarter see type things going on with your delay we have the feedback and we

have the delay itself there we also have the tap divided on here so this is your

divisions of the time and you have your expression mode on here each one of

these can be controlled externally viola expression pedal on the side there you

also have a tap on there so you can keep it perfectly in sync no matter what BPM

you are how fast your dramas going our hope lacks your buns maybe

so not really fat and stop the microbrew I mean you can hear it as massive let's

say out with the FT 13 see how we get along there

so I really like this pedal if you can bait it with an expression pedal as well

then if you play in your keys or your synthesizer you've got control over the

rate the depth the feedback or the delay which which just allows you to

concentrate on your performance I mean it's a really ingenious pedal and I

think it really seconds your sound and gives you something that you wouldn't

necessarily hear straightaway on any one of these units so here we have the

lovely boss super chorus ch1 a chorus pedal is an essential in any guitarists

arsenal the same applies to anyone who's playing keyboard or synthesizer and is

using effect pedals to allows you to widen your sound and give you a really

cool kind of stereo effect so let's see what kind of effect this guy has on the

ruined FP 30 I'm thinking we could maybe go for some kind of honky-tonk zone

maybe get some kind of saloon kind of thing going here let's see what it

sounds like without the pedal engaged

let's head on

I really like the vibe on that FP 30 with the super cordis it reminded me of

you know Westworld being in a saloon you know honky-tonk kind of stuff lovely

let's tie it in the matrix do that soon you

and you

so the super cordis really does fatten up the sound of the maitre Brut there

you can hear it spreading it around and it just makes it sound amazing so here

we have the electro harmonix electric mr. mistress mistress mistress electric

mistress it's a fully analog flanger pedal really simple does what it says on

the tin let's have a look at it and see how it sounds

so we have the color knob here this allows you to set the intensity of the

effect obviously the follow clockwise you turn it the more pronounced the

effect becomes pretty simple next we have the range which allows you to set

the limit of the flanger sweep and next we have the rate which controls the rate

at which the flanger is sweeping and the filter matrix is an awesome little thing

when it's on the right it disconnected from the flanger and it puts it in a

separate kind of filter metric socket which allows it gets input unique things

so I feel like the deluxe electric mistress has a lot to offer it's either

very subtle or it's very much in your face the panel on how you want to use it

really I really do feel like it benefitted the synthesizer section more

it gives it a bit more thickness and the filter matrix allows it create some

pretty cool stones and when you combine it with all of the other filters going

on the maker Brut they are so very interesting on that one and I highly

recommend this if you do have a synthesizer it's lovely so if I'd

tremendous fun today checking out all of these lovely pedals here I mean this is

a small selection of the overall availability in the market it is

seriously huge and there's so much to choose from I just feel like some of

these pedals are the best in terms of bang for a buck

and sound improvement so hopefully if I know you've got a good idea on how

different effects can shape the sound and give you a unique kind of torn the

most important thing is to try out any potential pedals and instruments best

way to do that is to pop down one of your local PMT stores we have them

dotted all across the country and we have experts in stores who'll be able to

"[More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you rain from the sky,"

" rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty"

" which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof?"

" Is there a deity with Allah ?"

"[No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him]."

[Surat An-Naml]

We all know that Allah, Almighty, didn't create a thing for vain!

but for a wise reason..

So, why did Allah create wood?

and what is the secret behind its formation?

and how could man benefit from the wood?

and what would happen, without having wood?

[Trees]

'Fasero..'

'If it wasn't because of Allah, it wouldn't have occurred..'

'Fasero..'

'From this you will attain faith..'

The gourd vine.. olives.. pomegranate tree..

I've wondered under trees.. about the secrets of their branches and their beauty..

I found details that tell stories, about the creativity of the Creator!!

"It is the work of Allah, Who perfected all things."

We define a tree as a plant that have a stem.. / Dr. Jamil Al-Lahham, Professor of Botany, Yarmouk University, Jordan

.. that carry branches on top, that bear leaves.

Not all plants are trees..

because, many plants are..

herbaceous plants..

For example; decorative plants as Ficus tree

Conocarpus trees..

some trees are used as a hedge..

because they have dense leaves.. and many branches.. /Qassim Hassan Kassem, agricultural engineer

Some trees are used as windbreakers.

Allah, Almighty, made these trees as decorative for Earth..

gardens on Earth

Another type of trees are the fruit trees..

Allah, Almighty, made them as food for man!

for example, Pomegranate trees

Grapes ..

Guava trees..

the third type of trees is..

Perennial trees..

they grow in forests..

More than 20% of the world's oxygen is produced in the Amazon rainforests

Allah, Almighty, made them for the benefit of man to get wood from them..

Subhan Allah, a divine arrangement..

you enjoy the scenery made by some trees.. this is one side

and you enjoy eating other plant pruducts..

also perennial plants have benefits ..

that is to use there wood..

I thought there are 6 to 7 types of wood only!

But, actually there are more than 1500 type.. Subhan Allah!

There is the beech wood..

It is a type of wood that is very hard and strong..

The carpenters guaranty its strength..

and they habitually use its name..

because they know what does the name indicate.!!

Another wood is the Oak-wood..

It is a very strong wood..

so, it is used in building ships..

And one of the most expensive.. or the most expensive wood is..

is the agarwood [Oud wood]

that's why we focused our filming more on it!

there is nothing as Oud tree!

M. Ramzi Salim, Vice President of agarwood Producers' Union, Indonesia

but, we have a tree that produces Oud.

Because, not every tree produces agarwood [Oud]..

So, we may have a very big tree that is long lasting, that is tens of years old, but it doesn't have Oud!

Why?

to form Oud, there must be an external influence..

that is the effect of infection..

because of the growth of certain mold..

Do you mean that infection is the cause of formation of Oud?

Exactly.. I mean..

As a result of having injury on the stem of the tree

an injury that is caused by anything.. may be by an insect, making a small hole in the tree..

or as a result of friction between branches moved by wind..

So, in the presence of injury..

and the presence of certain molds in the environment..

this specific mold attacks the tree at the site of injury, and it penetrates the tree..

the tree will protect itself by producing a dark aromatic resin in response to the attack..

this dark aromatic resin is the Oud!

Subhan Allah, after being infected, we get the best aroma..

And the best tree is the tree that is infected more!

Perhaps harmful to wood, but, useful to humans!

We cut the tree.. and take the good parts of it separately..

and from parts that are not of good quality we get Oud oil by distillation..

You mean all types pf Oud oils.. exactly..

From wood..

we extract Oud oil..

explain this process for me..

First we grind them to be like this..

this is what is left..

Yes!

after grinding.. we cook it.. we have two methods for preparing..

first method, is to sock it in water for two months..

ordinary water.. Yes..

in water for two months..

and then we cook it..

Then we put it in the distiller for at least, three to four days..

the second method is..

we treat it in the dry form..

Directly to the distiller..

Yes, and by this method, it yields more oil..

and it is faster..

but it is of less quality..

So, the choice is yours!

You mean it is up to the business man!

yes!

and in both cases it is pure..

'Fasero..'

'If it wasn't because of Allah, it wouldn't have occurred..'

'Fasero..'

Recent studies have confirmed that if trees are properly planted around the buildings, this will reduce the need for air conditioning by 30%

In general, a tree is formed of three parts..

The first part is that under the surface of the land.. it is the roots and root fibers..

these root fibers are responsible of absorption..

of water..

and nutrients..

and transporting it to the stem of the plant..

which is the pillar that supports the plant and that carries the leaves..

and that carries the fruits of the fruit trees..

one significance of the stem is that..

it transports water and nutrients to other parts of the tree..

through..

what is called..

the transmitting ducts..

they are like capillary tubes..

and water flows inside them by the property of capillarity.

i.e. The thinner the tube that is put in a water container..

the faster its ability to transport water.

We know that these trees..

can reach up to 100 meters!

especially the trees that make wood..

the ductal tissue in the plant is formed of two parts..

the first part is the wood..

that transports water and elements from the soil..

and the bark of the tree, is the part that transports nutrients within the plant..

and both must be close to each other.. side by side.

the vessels are formed of cellulose material..

and woody material..

and a third material that is called cellulose 2.

these materials..

form the inner vessels that are surrounded by the wood bark..

they are the the origin of the strength of the wood..

At this farm we have about 7 types of trees..

7 types of trees that produce Oud [agarwood]..

this is one species, that is Aquilaria malaccensis..

You call it Kalimantan..

So, this is the Kalimantan agarwood.. Exactly!

Actually, the Kalimantan is more than one species..

this is one of them, Aquilaria malaccensis..

there is also, Aquilaria microcarpa..

and Aquilaria crassna ..

So this is different.. from that.. yes!

How many species of agarwood trees are there..

The known trees in Indonesia are of 46 species..

only in Indonesia?

Yes, not world wide..

Some types as the Cambodian agarwood..

here we have Cambodian agarwood too..

not necessarily to be in Cambodia..

but, You know it at your region with this name..

they used to bring it from Cambodia.. and they kept on calling it that name..

This is the first time that I know this information.. so we can have the Cambodian agarwood from Indonesia!

Yes, you can!

The surface of the earth is covered by about 3 trillion trees, which vary between red cherry and olive trees, with an average of 422 trees per inhabitant of the earth

the fragrance differs according to the mold that has infected the tree..

So, you may find in the market, a Kalimantan Oud..

it might be spicy..

correct.

At Banka region, they have the same kind of tree.. but it is sweet, as the Cambodian..

why does the same tree give different fragrance?

same species of trees..

same tree and different fragrance!!

because of the kind of mold!

Allah, Almighty, has guided man to have things....

He who gave each thing its form and then guided it!

How is it possible that a man at the 21 century would know the age of a tree.. that is 10 to 11 thousand years old?!

Man have to cut the tree.. a transverse section..

when you look at the section..

you will see that it is formed of circular rings..

each circle represents a period of time that the tree has lived..

a year of its age..

some circles are dark.. others are lighter in color..

the lighter colored circles..

Subhan Allah it represents..

it tells us a story about this tree..

it says that at that time of its age..

there was..

sufficient nutrients and the weather was good.. for this tree!

What about the dark circle!!

It indicates that..

the weather at that time was tough summer..

What they are doing now..

they are working with the pieces of wood that was previously cleaned in a first round..

at the area of collection..

Now, here, they do deeper cleaning..

and also they do grading..

Subhan, Allah, while looking at that wood..

from this wood, comes the great provision that Allah, Almighty, has granted the countries of East Asia, specifically!

'We have beauty..'

'have hearing, vision, and a brain that is still..'

'finding signs of perfection in this body.'

'And the eyes will see'

'how can a plant have branches from a seed?!'

'And between excrements and blood, milk is formed'

'Fasero..'

'If it wasn't because of Allah, it wouldn't have occurred..'

We have trees in our country.. at the Gulf area..

or let's say anywhere else in the world..

why these molds do not infect them?!

only here..?!

They don't.. Subhan Allah.. this is just a grace..

that Allah, Almighty, has given me..

You know the Amazon rainforests..

very big forests..

also Africa..

but they don't have the agarwood!

this is a provision from Allah.. Subhan Allah..

Yes!

You can take any of these trees and plant them in Kuwait..

like this one.. Yes!

and it will grow to a big tree..

but don't expect that it will produce Oud!

because it doesn't have the mold that can not live in a place like Kuwait..

The highest forest densities are found in the forests of regions such as Russia, Scandinavia and North America. However, the largest forest areas are found in the tropics, home to about 43% of the world's trees

The US is highest producer of wood among the countries that produce wood in the world.

then comes China..

then India..

then Brazil..

then Russia..

then Indonesia..

also we have south Africa..

Congo..

and Nigeria..

these are the most important countries..

that produce wood..

Some of the countries have put laws, that when you cut a tree, you must plant three trees!

two or three trees..

to replace this tree!

Why? to have balance!

I never hear about a wood that is more expensive than the agarwood [Oud]

Who has deprived the Amazon forests the agarwood.. and who has planted it in East Asia?!

Exalted He is The Withholder.. The Expander..

He gives and takes..

Provision is not as we choose!

But, it is as the will of Allah, Almighty..

He, Subhanahu, He knows what is best for you!

listen to this verse..

"And if Allah had extended [excessively] provision for His servants, they would have committed tyranny throughout the earth."

" But He sends [it] down in an amount which He wills. Indeed He is, of His servants, Acquainted and Seeing."

'Before it's the right time..'

'nothing was there..'

'there was no time.. no place!'

'Allah just said to the universe; Be.. and it is!'

'Life will be beautiful..'

'If we just have reflected upon the signs given from Al-Ilah..'

'beautify your vision by.. looking at all that is made by His Hands..

'Fasero..'

'you will see how Allah has created it..'

'Fasero..'

'There is no a fault to be found..'
