Waching daily Jun 26 2017

Depending on a person,

this could be good or extremely bad.

My office is well-known for its family-like atmosphere.

It's thanks to my boss.

"For the team's unity and progress,"

"we'll have a get-together after work."

"The weather is gloomy."

"Let's have a get-together."

"What are you doing on your day off?"

"The weather is nice."

"Let's have a get-together."

"Let's have a get-together."

That's too often.

My co-workers and I are frustrated by his insistence.

"I can't join the get-together because I have a cold."

"A cold?"

"Alcohol will cure that. Come with me."

That day, I became sick with a cold and a hangover.

We have a get-together almost every day.

Please stop my boss.

(Please stop my boss.)

Do you like drinking?

- I like drinking, / - I see.

but my agency doesn't hold get-together often.

I wish we had more.

We had one get-together in the past two years.

- Everyone is busy. / - That's right.

(That doesn't suit me.)

How is your boss at a get-together?

He's really good at grilling meat.

(I saw him do it once, but he's really good.)

He'll keep grilling if you compliment him.

I complimented him a lot.

(He just ate while his boss grilled meat.)

Let's meet our guest and hear the story.

- Please come out. / - Please come out!

(Whose boss is addicted to get-togethers?)

(She's cute.)

(Kang Yoojin)

Be careful.

She slid down too fast.

(Is she hungover?)

It's quite steep.

Does he really drink with his employees so often?

I'm working at a used car dealership.

There are ten employees at the company.

The official work get-together is only once a month.

- Once a month? / - Yes.

However, we drink together 18 times a month.

- 18 out of 30 days? / - At least 18 days.

- 18 days at least? / - At least?

At first, he gathered us because we sold a car

or because it was our pay day.

- He had reasons at least. / - I see.

- Now... / - How about now?

"The weather is nice. Let's have a drink."

- "Today is Wednesday. Let's drink." / - Exactly.

- Like this? / - Yes.

Can't you just make an excuse to avoid it?

When I tell him that I have plans,

he asks me about thrice,

"Is that true? Do you really have plans?"

If I don't go, he holds grudge against me.

(He holds grudge if his employees miss a work drink.)

I see.

The next day, he keeps looking at my face and says...

(Next day, whenever he runs into her...)

"Were you that busy yesterday?"

(Were you so busy, you missed the get-together?)

- That would be uncomfortable. / - I see.

He says, "You look great. You must've had fun."

- "We had so much fun without you." / - Right.

- Like this? / - Yes.

Why does he drink with his employees so often?

He believes that drinking together is the only way

to improve team bond.

We drink about 20 bottles at the first bar.

- 20 bottles of soju? / - Soju?

That means each one drinks two bottles.

We drink another 20 bottles at the second bar.

- Oh, gosh. / - Does he let you come to work late?

He's always the first one to arrive.

- He has a healthy liver. / - He comes at 9 a.m. sharp.

- Healthy liver. / - That's why he can drink a lot.

He scolds us because we're late.

- He made you drink. / - Exactly.

Does he say, "We'll drink tonight since you're late."

- He says that sometimes. / - I see.

He says that we're weak-minded.

Who pays the bills when you drink together?

My boss pays most of the time.

- He doesn't pay sometimes? / - No.

- If someone sold a lot of cars, / - I see.

he makes that employee pay.

If it's my pay day he texts me,

"Thank you for paying for the next get-together."

- Is that true? / - Yes.

How many times out of ten does your boss pay?

- About six times. / - He pays just a little over half,

- and his employees pay the rest? / - That's unfair.

- He should pay every time. / - He should pay.

He should pay since he gathered them.

- If you gather people together, you pay. / - Exactly.

- Don't you agree? / - I don't get paid much.

I can't afford to pay 100 or 200 dollars at gatherings.

That's too much.

Exactly.

(How would you improve team bond like this?)

You're revealing the bad thing about your boss.

- Would you be all right after this? / - Right.

- He easily holds grudges. / - Will you be okay?

To be honest, I'm a little afraid,

but my health comes first.

(I should save my life first.)

- So I mustered up my courage. / - For your health.

It's for her health.

- You're here to maintain your health. / - Yes.

Let's meet her boss and hear him out.

Where are you?

- Hello. / - Hello.

She told us about her concern.

- Yes. / - Can you understand her?

Honestly, I can't fully understand her.

He's always like that.

All the time.

I don't think she can get any more than 50 votes.

Used car dealers change jobs frequently.

I started drinking with my employees

to help them bond with each other.

As they liked it, I came to drink with them more often.

- He's the only one who likes it. / - You think...

Did you just call him sweetie?

- Are you dating him? / - No, I said "he".

- The way I see it... / - She said "he".

It looks like

there's something going on between the two of them.

(Is there something going on between them?)

(She strongly denies it.)

- I'm offended. / - Our guest...

She just said,

- "I'm offended." / - Right.

Even though she doesn't feel that way for him,

it might be one of the reasons why he wants to

- Right. / - drink with his employees so often.

- Let's ask him... / - Are you married?

(Are you married by any chance?)

- Yes, I'm married. / - You are?

I apologize.

- I see. / - However...

Why did you jump to a conclusion?

(He's embarrassed.)

You drink with them three to four times a week.

- Don't you think it can be stressful? / - Right.

Mostly, when we drink together,

I go home after having a few drinks.

- It takes some time to do that already. / - Right.

Your employees drink more?

Yes, they drink more without me.

When we drink together,

we get excited as we get drunk.

- Of course. / - So we drink some more

after he goes home. That's true.

However, when he gets a little tipsy,

he tells us to go home, too.

- He can just leave. / - He wants you to leave, too?

- He wants to end the gathering? / - Yes.

When we say we're tired and want to go home,

- he says, "Gosh, you traitors." / - Oh, my.

- He's abusing his power. / - Exactly.

Why does he call you out on holidays?

Before I joined the company, my boss promised

he would never make me work on weekends.

So I joined the company.

We live in the same unit of an apartment complex.

Same unit?

- They're neighbors. / - That's too bad.

She can't refuse.

If I run, I can get there in four seconds.

- Four seconds. / - You two live very close.

He'd ask me on weekends

if I want to have a barbecue, so I have to go.

He'd ask me to grill meat so he can drink.

- I have a question. / - Go ahead.

- He's married. / - Right.

- He has a wife at home. / - That's right.

- I think she should be here, too. / - I think so, too.

Your wife must be worried.

Actually, I got divorced.

- You're divorced? / - Yes.

(Oh, my. I'm so sorry.)

- I'm sorry. / - Are you single now?

- Yes, I am. / - I see.

- He's single. / - See? I told you so.

What did I tell you?

(Dongyeop is so quick to catch on other people.)

No wonder.

- That's why... / - I had a feeling.

- It all adds up now. / - That's right.

- Please go on. / - That's why I can't refuse it.

- He's divorced. / - He keeps saying he has no friends,

- and no one to drink with. / - Maybe Dongyeop's right.

Don't you think he drinks with you

- because he has feelings for you? / - What is it?

As I said, that offends me.

- Please go ahead. / - She wouldn't know,

- but her boss / - He likes her?

might be hiding flowers and a ring behind him.

(He might be hiding flowers and a ring.)

- Sir. / - Sir, tell us the truth.

- Tell us the truth. / - It's not like that.

We don't drink alone together. Mr. Park drinks with us.

- When celebrities date someone, / - Right.

- they call their manager. / - Exactly.

(Oh, it's to fool other people.)

You joined them often, right?

I did. I thought Dongyeop had feelings for me.

(I thought I was the one Dongyeop liked.)

It turned out he liked my friend.

- Hang on. / - It was a long time ago.

(We all know that.)

Let's meet the other employees.

Welcome.

- Hello. / - Hello.

Are the three of you having a hard time, too?

Please tell us how you feel.

Okay.

- He sounds... / - He looks tired.

You drank last night, right?

Did you drink last night?

Yes, we did.

- Right. / - "Let's drink since we'll be on show."

He hates it when we don't drink shots in one go.

He always holds the bottle instead of his glass.

He holds it until we finish our glasses

to put pressure on us.

The real problem is that we sell cars,

but we reek of alcohol in front of our customers.

Our work is delayed, and we get complaints.

Likewise, drinking after work

- causes trouble. / - I see.

I'm 42 years old.

It takes me a long time to sober up.

That's so sad.

He must be worried the most.

I couldn't go to work once or twice.

My boss said I'm so weak when I drank so little.

He looks down on me.

While working for him for the past year,

I've gained 15kg.

(It's a serious problem.)

- Because of alcohol. / - Yes.

(The get-togethers damaged his health.)

- Drinking alcohol makes you fat. / - Goodness.

- It's a serious problem. / - You must've been skinny.

- Next... / - You look like you gained a lot of weight.

I gained over 10kg in the past 6 months.

- Really? / - As I gained over 10kg,

I have to buy new clothes every month.

(He buys new clothes every month.)

- Also... / - Every month.

- If I miss the gathering, he bullies me. / - My gosh.

- He excludes me during lunch. / - He holds grudges.

I think they gained weight because of

their lack of self-management skills.

- As for me, / - You don't give them free time.

- every morning, / - He has a muscular body.

I do some exercises such as squats

and push-ups for 20 minutes, and I sober up.

After I take a shower, I feel okay.

- So I tell them / - That's why he has thick arms.

to drink just as much as I am.

- That's because you're healthy. / - That's just you.

I used to work at a pharmaceutical company.

When I meet with my clients,

I drank until 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. and even 5 a.m.,

but I still came to work by 7:30 a.m.

- It's all a matter of attitude. / - But...

(Oh my gosh!)

Boss forces sick employees to drink! [Hello Counselor / 2017.06.26] - Duration: 11:53.

Weren't you tired when you worked at the company,

drinking every day with your clients?

I'd always enjoyed the get-togethers.

I talked about what happened that day with them.

I didn't think my employees would have a hard time.

I'll explain to you.

There are some people with a strong liver.

You have a strong liver, but they don't.

Don't you think it's too much for them

to drink as much as you do every day?

They'd be okay if they drink just as much as I do.

He just said you force them to drink a lot.

It doesn't take him a long time to recover

after drinking

We feel so tired the day after we drink.

I couldn't eat anything.

- I was sick. /- Did you throw up, too?

I once got so sick I had to get an IV injection.

- Oh, no. / - However,

I had to drink the next day.

My goodness.

Your letter mentioned him saying that drinking

helps to recover from a cold.

One day, I was taking medications for a cold.

He said that drinking alcohol helps to recover,

so I drank that night, but the next day...

What happened the next day?

I had a really hard time.

- Of course. / - Did you recover from the cold?

- She put it mildly. / - She had a cold.

She got an IV injection and threw up.

Why did you force her to drink?

I don't force my employees to drink.

I'm just joking around them.

- Pardon? / - I just told her

to sit there with us without drinking.

I told her to eat some meat.

He's lying.

- He's lying? / - Is that a lie?

That's all a lie.

He kept forcing me to drink.

Did he pour you a glass?

Yes, he said I should drink it to recover.

I once sweated so much after drinking soju

that I recovered from a cold.

I said that jokingly.

I made her drink less than usual.

- She drank a little. / - It's all from your viewpoint.

- Exactly. / - Drinking motivates you

because you like drinking.

Your employees don't enjoy drinking.

How can they be motivated when it makes them sick?

As I listen to you, I can understand them a little,

- I see. / - but until now,

- I didn't think... / - What don't you like?

- What do you mean? Food? / - Anything.

I don't like running.

Imagine your boss asking you to jog with him.

- Let's say you got a new job. / - Your superior says,

"Let's go for a run since it's Wednesday."

"We should run since it's weekend."

He wants you to jog with him every day.

Would you be happy about that?

- I should get used to that. / - Sorry?

(Goodness!)

- Get used to it? / - You're abusing your power.

Why don't you join us for a drink?

I don't want to!

We drink in a good atmosphere.

I'm sure you do.

It's a good thing, but if you drink too often,

your employees can suffer from it.

Do you not have any friends?

(Don't you have any friends?)

- I mean... / - He has a point.

- You should meet your friends / - Right.

- and... / - My apartment is far from city.

I have to drive a long way to meet my friends.

Besides, most of my friends have children.

They have a few drinks and go home early.

You should set your boss up

- with someone you know. / - That might work.

I think that'd be the best way.

I tried that, too.

He said, "I like drinking with you guys the most."

See? I told you so. My goodness.

But he's the only one who enjoys that.

- I see. / - Also, he has bad mood swings.

He's usually nice to us, but when he's drunk,

he tells us to be quiet in an irritated voice.

- Is he seriously mad? / - When he's in a bad mood?

He makes a lot of jokes when we drink together.

- I see. / - His jokes are not very funny.

If we don't laugh, he gets upset.

- He gets angry. Just laughing at his jokes / - Gosh.

- is not enough. / - He's laughing.

- We must say he's amazing vehemently. / - Really?

"You're amazing."

Mr. Park, please go ahead.

For me, keeping up with his speed is hardest.

- His drinking speed? / - I want to take a break.

But every time he drinks, we have to drink, too.

- You have to drink as much as he does? / - Yes.

- Why would you force your habit on them? / - He's...

- Exactly. / - He never gives me a break.

Doesn't your wife complain about this?

I have a wife and a seven-year-old son.

They hate my boss.

Why would they like him?

My seven-year-old son always calls me

saying he wants to eat dinner with me.

When I tell him that I have a work dinner,

he says

he really wants to eat with me disappointedly.

- Oh, dear. / - When I hear him say that,

I feel sorry for him.

(The get-togethers make his seven-year-old son upset.)

(Oh, no.)

He looks like Byun Jinsub.

- You're right. / - He does.

- I know. / - Tell us your wishes.

I can endure everything they just talked about,

but I can't eat

any more fried chicken.

- They eat fried chicken often. / - It makes you fat.

We eat fried chicken 9 times out of 10.

We always go to the same restaurant.

- I see. / - I don't even want to see the owner.

- You hate it that much? / - I never buy fried chicken.

I love fried chicken, but that's too much.

Why do you always eat fried chicken?

All my family members like fried chicken.

If we can choose between a barbecue and fried chicken,

we always choose fried chicken.

That's your family. Think of your employees.

- He's not considerate at all. / - I went there

because it's quiet and nice to talk with them.

Then, I found out the restaurant uses clean oil.

He's lying. That's a lie.

Okay.

You shouldn't lie on a TV show.

The restaurant is right in front of his house.

- It's in the neighborhood. / - Goodness.

- He can walk home. / - For his own convenience?

That's right. He can walk home from there.

- He calls them to his neighborhood. / - Gosh.

He's such a selfish man

and everyone around him has to do as he wants.

- In fact... / - Eunji lost her temper.

I'm sorry.

You said your employees are like family to you,

but you're treating them as if they're your servants.

He's acting like a king.

You can't always feel comfortable around family.

Sometimes you don't.

- That's true. / - He yells at his employee

just to make them like his own family.

He says he enjoys it and he's not controlling,

- but he's quite dogmatic. / - Indeed.

Right? What's the hardest part?

Weekday or weekend, I have to go out when he calls me.

I can never attend my friends' birthday parties.

Not too long ago, a friend of mine who lives far away

visited me on a weekend.

However, he was in a bad mood and wanted to drink.

I told my friend I couldn't meet her because of work.

My friend was very disappointed.

- Of course. / - That's ridiculous.

- His employees are so nice. / - As everyone is busy,

it's hard to set a date for a family dinner.

But my boss asked me to drink with him,

so I couldn't even have dinner with my family.

- He's a nuisance. / - You can't even see your family?

Not long ago, I dated someone for a while.

- Did you break up with her? - We broke up.

- Oh, my. / - I told her

how often I drink with my colleagues.

- She thought I was lying. / - Of course.

She didn't believe me. I had to make a video call

and send her a group photo to prove I wasn't lying.

But as it happened month after month...

They even drink at the same place.

- Exactly. / - I couldn't say it's because of my boss.

- They can't exercise when they want. / - It means

none of your employees can have a private life.

They're here to ask you to give them freedom.

He looks like a nice person who is an alcoholic.

I'm serious.

He looks drunk.

He has never told me that it's hard for him

to date someone before.

She also didn't tell me that her friend visited her.

I thought they felt comfortable around me.

I'm sure they told you that before,

but you reacted badly when they did,

- and it backfired. / - Right.

They're afraid it might only do them harm,

so they think they shouldn't tell you.

Even if you say they don't have to come,

- that's not how it works. / - That's ridiculous.

- Right. / - It's like you choosing a cheap menu

and telling them to choose anything they want.

They must be under pressure as you're their boss.

- You should drink less often. / - They're afraid.

I hope we drink together just once a month.

- Once a month? / - Once a month?

- That sounds good. / - Let's hear them out.

How many times a month would be acceptable?

- Once a month sounds reasonable. / - All right.

Mr. Park, what about you?

Twice a month.

- Twice a month? / - Okay.

- You two can drink alone together. / - Right.

That's a good idea.

(Did I really say that?)

Once every three months.

- He's tired. / - He really hates it.

He's tired of his job.

- He needs to buy new clothes too often. / - Right.

They said once a month. What do you think?

I will drink with them less often,

but we should get together more than once a month.

- Why? / - When I started my business,

I had no experience in this field.

I wanted to adjust to this industry quickly.

Drinking doesn't strengthen your bond.

As owner of the company,

shouldn't you understand their needs and desires?

- I can't change overnight. / - He's laughing.

How many times will you drink with them?

I think twice a week would be okay.

Please let me explain what the problem is.

You drink with them to motivate them,

- That's not true. / - but they're discouraged.

- They're discouraged. / - You can drink

as often as you want.

We're talking about the times you drink with them.

- Exactly. / - I don't understand why he wants to

drink with people who don't want to drink.

- It's bad because / - Right.

it's not enjoyable at all.

I realized that I had things my own way.

- Everything. / - Everything.

If they hate it, I'll drink with them once or twice

a month from now on.

Give them your word.

- Okay. / - Like a man.

Say something you want to tell him for the last time.

He planned

to go on a two-day trip with us

- at the end of this month. / - That's too much.

- He's unbelievable. / - He suggested we should

- A two-day trip. / - drink until we pass out.

- After that trip, / - Until they pass out?

I hope we don't go on a trip like that too often.

We can drink coffee instead of alcohol,

- and watch movies together / - Right.

to strengthen our bond.

(We hope they find a healthy hobby for the team unity.)

(Please, we're begging you.)

Do you think it's a worry?

- Where's my remote? / - They're a team and a family.

If any one of them is concerned or stressed out,

- I think there's a problem. / - That's right.

- It's definitely a worry. / - You think so?

I think the employees

have had enough of his behavior

even though the CEO is nice and all.

I also think it's a worry.

I also think it's a worry.

At first, I thought he's a friendly CEO,

but it's vital to separate your work and personal life.

Press the button if you empathize with her worry.

(What does the audience think?)

Sister on extreme diet- skips meals for 3 days! [Hello Counselor / 2017.06.26] - Duration: 18:59.

She's struggling every single day

from a fight that seems to never end.

Hello.

The season to show off your body, summer has come.

My sister succeeded in losing 10kg

after making strenuous effort.

The problem is that her diet doesn't seem to end.

"Don't you think I've lost a bit of weight?"

"What about my waist?"

"I guess you did lose a bit of weight."

"Hey!"

(You!)

"Tell me the truth!"

"Tell me where and how much I lost weight!"

She's sensitive.

(The sensitive boss has come!)

"What's this smell?"

"Is that ramyeon? For goodness' sake!"

(Swearing violently)

"Are you eating again?"

"What did I tell you to do while I'm on a diet?"

"I told you not to eat anything at home!"

- Gosh, she's sensitive. / - She's sensitive.

(There's nobody more sensitive than her sister.)

I can no longer just watch my sister

who is becoming exhausted from her dramatic diet.

Please stop my sister's diet now.

(Sister! Stop going on a diet.)

- Women are always anxious about diet. / - Right.

- Many girl groups go on a diet. / - That's right.

- We lose 8kg to 9kg at once, / - It's true.

then we gain it back in three months.

- Isn't it bad for your health? / - It's bad.

That's why I developed atopic dermatitis.

My immune system got weak.

If you starve yourself,

take anorectic agents and use wrong methods to diet,

- your immune system becomes weak. / - Yes.

- That's right. / - Yes, my body type has changed.

(It's so tough.)

Please come on out!

(Who is suffering because of her sister's diet?)

(Kim Yoonjung)

(Hello!)

What is your sister's diet like?

It's quite extreme.

When she thinks she gained weight, she starves herself.

She only drinks water.

- Water for all three meals? / - Yes.

She eats five cherry tomatoes and two eggs for the day.

- In total? / - That's all she eats.

I was worried that she'd be malnourished,

so I fed her vitamins.

How nice of you. What happened then?

Since she took it on an empty stomach, she vomited.

- It's bad for your stomach. / - It's Vitamin C.

You mustn't take Vitamin C on an empty stomach.

(It's worth worrying about, right?)

Why is she on such a diet?

Is she very fat?

She lost 10kg from her diet in the past year.

- She weighs 53kg now. / - That's nice.

However, she wants to be skinny like me.

She wants to be skinny like female idol singers.

We're not that skinny.

(We're not that skinny.)

The two idol singers here are not skinny.

All the idol singers here are not skinny.

Is she planning on losing more weight?

She says she'll lose 5kg by next week.

- 5kg by next week? / - How is that possible?

- Exactly. / - What will she do? Eat nothing?

She works at a clothing shop in a department store.

- She mostly stands. / - She stands for nine hours.

She works while standing.

When she has free time, she does squats.

- She even exercises there? / - While standing?

After work, it takes about an hour

to walk home from the subway station.

She walks home after work?

- Yes, she walks home. / - She's incredible.

(Stop her.)

She's not asking you to go on a diet together.

Why are you unhappy with that?

I'm living with my sister in a studio flat.

- In a studio flat. / - I see.

That's why I bump into her every time.

- That's right. / - You keep seeing her.

When we have eye contact, she asks "Did I lose weight?"

"I think you really lost weight."

"Don't lie."

- "You say that soullessly." / - That's right.

"Why don't you get fat? You eat so much."

(She is blunt. It's like a torture.)

Her sister's constant remarks stress her out.

How do you eat?

You could end up starving yourself like your sister.

That's right. I can't eat at home.

- I go to convenience stores. / - Convenience stores.

- I eat there before coming home. / - On your way home,

- you eat what you want at convenience stores? / - Yes.

I tend to tell others to eat.

- "Please eat this." / - People have different styles.

Our road managers get fat when we're on a diet.

- I see. / - Yes.

(Apink likes their chubby managers a lot.)

Let's meet her sister. Hello.

(Who harasses her sister with the extreme diet?)

She's pretty.

Please stand up.

- You don't need to lose weight. / - Stand up.

- Show us. / - We'll give you an objective opinion.

Turn around like this

- just once. / - She looks healthy.

- You look pretty. / - You don't need to lose weight.

We don't think you need to lose weight.

No, I need to lose more. I want to be under 40kg.

(She's never been that light.)

- Gosh, that's bad for you. / - 40kg?

There must be a reason why you want to lose weight.

People say that one is prettiest in their 20s,

so I want to be prettiest at such age.

Like Hyuna or the actress Jung Hyesung,

I want to have a body that was born skinny.

Too bad you're already born.

Exactly. I weighed 98kg when I was 29 years old.

I want to be skinny.

- You're not convincing her. / - I was on a roll.

- You were on a roll. / - You were.

- She was... / - Why must you lose 5kg by next week?

- Is there a reason? / - What's happening next week?

Nothing like that.

I just think it's possible

- to lose 5kg in a week. / - It's summer.

You started so suddenly, though.

I danced for ten years.

- You danced. / - I did.

- I did street dance. / - Street dance.

- I did street dance. / - Strip dance...

- It's "street dance". / - I see.

(Is he lustful?)

It's "street dance".

Street dance.

- I knew I made a mistake. / - I did street dance.

I gained 10kg after I quit dancing.

When I worked at a mobile phone agency,

my boss and my co-worker called me a pig.

- They called me that way. / - Then...

I worked part-time as an extra for about six months.

The leaders asked if I was a track and field athlete.

"Your legs seem healthy."

At the department store, customers and co-workers say

that my legs look like elephant legs.

- Customers? / - "You have a hippo's hips."

"You must be born again to have skinny legs."

- They say these things. / - No way.

- They say those things? / - Customers say that?

I hear that stuff almost every single day.

- You get that even now? / - Yes, just few days ago.

It wasn't even a week ago when I heard it.

"My daughter is so skinny."

"It's so nice to see a fat person like you."

- Why would she do that? / - A customer said that?

No, the co-workers I work with.

They say those things.

- Do they only do that to you? / - It's worse to me.

I'm younger than them...

- It's because you're pretty. / - That's right.

Since the place is small,

I feel like I'm the target of the conversation.

When I was younger,

I was also stressed out about having a big face.

"Your face covers the whole sun. Step aside."

When I heard those things,

I didn't like it.

- I haven't seen Bomi's face once. / - Same here.

- You can't see Bomi's face. / - I can't see it.

What do you think after hearing your sister's story?

I think she's stressed out about her figure.

I knew it, but she relieves her stress

- by venting on me. / - I see.

- She takes it out on you. / - That's right.

- What does she do? / - She's hysterical.

When I'm eating something,

she'd ask if I'm eating again.

"Why don't you get fat? Why do I gain weight alone?"

She says things like that.

Do you relieve your stress on your sister?

First, she's the only one

I can talk to at ease.

- In fact, seeing her / - You're jealous?

frustrates me.

- She eats, but she doesn't get fat. / - She's skinny.

We have the same genes,

but she's tall and slim with a slender waist.

On the other hand, I think I'm fat,

so just seeing her makes me upset.

I get that, but she also finds

joy from eating at the end of the day.

You could get vicarious satisfaction from seeing

- her eat. / - I'd want to eat just by smelling food.

I have to starve myself,

so I hate situations that entice me to eat.

- Exactly. / - I'm afraid of eating.

(What's wrong with you?)

What do you do for a living?

I work for customer service at a credit card company.

- Gosh, that's tough, too. / - That's also

a very stressful job.

Some customers swear at me.

- They still do? / - Yes.

When I hesitate quietly out of fear,

some would say, "Hey, keep talking."

- People still do that? / - Yes.

- I don't get it. / - I can't believe

- there are people like that. / - There are a lot.

- There are a lot like that. / - How do you relieve

- your stress, then? / - I eat.

- You eat. / - By eating?

- She forbids you from eating. / - You can't eat.

You must relieve stress, but she doesn't let you eat.

How do you relieve it, then?

I can't de-stress because of her.

Gosh, what's wrong with her?

(She sounds really upset.)

Tell me what you eat when you're on a diet.

For lunch, I eat a banana, five cherry tomatoes

and two boiled eggs.

For dinner, if I'm seriously starving,

I drink low-fat milk.

That's all you eat for lunch?

Yes.

You've been doing this for a year now?

In case I eat fried chicken for get-togethers,

- I'd... / - Look behind you.

(Do you like fried chicken, too?)

What do you do, then?

In case I...

In case I eat fried chicken,

I starve myself

for about three days.

(She starves for three days.)

(My goodness.)

- Seriously... / - That's why

I always live within the rules I set myself.

That would be totally stressful.

- You won't lose any weight. / - What's happiness?

You'll store fat

since your body doesn't know when you'll get energy.

- Exactly. / - The faster you lose weight by starving,

the faster you'll gain it back.

Eventually, you'll keep starving again and again.

Do you mind telling me if you have a boyfriend or not?

- Yes, we just started dating. / - It's new.

How do you eat when you go on a date?

I don't want to show my sensitive side since

we just started dating recently.

I would eat,

but not more than half a bowl of rice.

Does he know you're on such diet?

- Yes, and since it's bad for my health, / - Exactly.

he tells me not to diet.

However, I told him that I'll continue.

(I don't understand.)

She's been on a diet for a year. How was she before?

She used to love eating as well,

but ever since we moved to Seoul,

she's been dieting non-stop.

Since you moved to Seoul?

Since there are many pretty women in Seoul...

You lose fat to look like a Seoulite.

(What a lame joke.)

I see.

- Let's meet her friend. / - What an old man.

Hello.

You're the sister's friend.

Yes, I'm the sister's friend.

(Nice to meet you.)

What do you think about her?

When we're on the phone,

she'd tell me she'll call back since her stomach hurts.

She hangs up like that.

It must be hard to meet her because

- she wouldn't want to eat out. / - That's right.

When we eat out, she refuses to eat.

"I'll just sit with you while you eat."

- Seriously... / - She'd say that.

When I tell her I'd treat her to an expensive meal,

she says she can't eat since the food looks like fat.

- What's the matter with her? / - She'd eat nothing

and drink coffee at a coffee shop.

(Sister, what's wrong with you?)

Your sister is mostly worried about your health.

- That's right. / - How can you work

after eating so little food? Are you okay?

Actually,

I feel that my brain would shut down for a while.

- What? / - There are moments like that.

- Isn't that serious? / - It feels

as though everything just stops.

Even when someone speaks,

my brain isn't able to take it in.

- That's not good. / - My eyelids tremble.

- You need magnesium. / - My hands and feet tremble.

The nutrition imbalance is serious.

However, I've never fainted.

- I never had / - Will you stop if you faint?

a serious accident yet...

You mustn't go on a diet that makes you faint.

- You mustn't. / - You'll ruin your health.

Why faint? Aren't you trying to be happy?

However, she almost fainted once.

- She had bloody discharge for ten days. / - Oh, my.

- My gosh. / - For ten days?

- Her body lost nutritional balance. / - Oh, dear.

- That's what happened. / - If you starve,

your immune system weakens and you contract diseases.

Eunji also suffered from middle ear infection.

Yes, I got sinusitis for the first time in my life.

I also got middle ear infection at the same time.

My tonsils were all swollen,

so I couldn't even sing for a while.

I get why your sister is worried,

but I'm more worried about your health

- since that's what I'm going through. / - Exactly.

- She never goes to hospitals. / - Why don't you?

Doctors will obviously say that starving is the cause.

In order to take medication, you need to eat.

I don't have the confidence to do that.

Aren't you worried about your health?

You'll run into huge problems

- all at once. / - Your body's protesting now.

- Of course. / - It keeps protesting,

but you're not accepting it.

If you don't negotiate and appease your body now,

- riots will break out. / - Tell me honestly.

Do you have pain elsewhere

that your sister is not aware of?

I have bad knees.

Once, my knees felt like it's been hit with a hammer.

I went to the hospital in the middle of work.

It was patellar ligament infection.

Since I exercised too much without eating,

- Exactly. / - the doctor said

I got an infection on my ligaments.

Did you not go back to the hospital after that?

- Not after the diagnoses. / - What was the reason?

- The doctor didn't let me exercise. / - Oh, dear.

You need to have ligaments to exercise.

It was tough back then.

Gaining or losing a bit of weight

- is not what matters. / - Of course not.

Building your self-esteem and confidence

is more important. You have a boyfriend, too.

What do you think?

I guess I developed a victim mentality.

When someone says that I'm pretty, I wonder what

- they mean. / - You don't accept a praise as is.

Yes, I often think that way.

An ex-boyfriend of mine whom I dated two years back

told me that I should lose fat on my legs.

"It'd be nice if your calves were a bit slimmer."

He told me these things directly.

If you want to lose fat on your legs only,

there are exercises that target your legs.

You shouldn't be doing what you're doing now.

They say that you'll lose fat on your legs in the end.

- That's not true. / - It's not like that.

I've been to concerts by

Beyonce and Britney Stewardess...

- It's "Spears". / - Spears.

- Is it an airplane? / - Yes...

- Hey. / - I'm sorry.

- He's American. / - You don't even speak English.

- There's no point living in the US. / - I'm sorry.

Their legs...

- When you look at them, / - There's really something.

- They're huge. / - their legs are this huge.

They're so cool. They're the best.

I was totally surprised when she danced like this.

What was that?

Was it "Single Ladies" by any chance?

- "Single Ladies". / - ♪ Single lady ♪

Here comes Kang Hodong.

(Beyonce, are you watching me?)

She danced like this.

She was totally gorgeous.

However, when I see your sister...

You picked the wrong role model.

You're like Beyonce.

Some people would envy you. Be satisfied with yourself

and have more self-esteem.

I'm not sure what others think, but I think I'm okay.

That's why I find every single day joyful.

That's happiness.

Do you have a wish for your sister?

Actually, after our mom and dad separated,

- I didn't see my sister for... / - They got divorced?

You must have lived apart from your sister for long.

How long were you two apart from each other?

(The sisters met after a long time.)

About seven to eight years.

You lived apart from your sister.

There are many things I'd like to do with her.

I want to come to Seoul

and hang out together with her

or just enjoy delicious food at home.

You want to eat together and chat.

We can't do anything because of her diet.

- That's right. / - You want to create good memories.

Did you know about this?

When my sister came to Seoul for the first time,

we went out together.

After talking with each other for a while,

I realized it was our first time going out on our own.

However, due to my diet,

- we couldn't go to a coffee shop. / - What is that?

We couldn't eat out either.

We walked all the way from Hongdae to Sangsu,

and back again to our neighborhood.

I didn't realize it then, but she would've been upset.

Ascension Signs - Duration: 5:07.

Ascension Signs

by Kim Hutchinson,

Ascension messages are flowing in daily. The following two messages were received this

week. One came from the clouds; the other, from a dream. The messages are clear: something

big is happening. Can you feel the excitement?

Dragon Energy Upgrades

On Tuesday, I was in my backyard getting my daily dose of vitamin Sun. I was dreamily

gazing up at the blue sky, peppered with fluffy white clouds, when I spotted the face of a

dragon. Shortly thereafter, a second one materialized; then, a third dragon manifested. More kept

popping up. Everywhere I looked, dragons were looking back at me.

While I find dragons fascinating, Im not in a habit of seeing them, nor do I have an

affiliation with them; so, I knew I didnt conjure up these images.

I decided to share my experience on Facebook. I received comments and private messages from

other people who witnessed dragon clouds, too. A friend wrote:

every time I looked at the clouds hey thats a dragon! Another dragon! Look a

dragon. Over and over. And then I drove through a random lightning storm where the lightening

was actually horizontal like dragon fire. Something big is stirring for sure.

Ascension Connection: The next day, I logged onto Facebook, and the first thing I saw was

a picture of a dragon. It was accompanied by an intriguing post by LoveHasWon.org that

talked about the arrival of Red Dragon Energy which is here to assist with our final

event.

In addition to that article, I find it interesting that 2012, a pivotal year in our ascension

process, was the year of the dragon. The galactic alignment on December 21, 2012, allowed transformative

light and ascension energy from the Central Sun to flood into our universe. Since then,

these waves of dragon energy have been bathing our planet, helping us to prepare

for our shift into 5D consciousness.

Dream Alters Reality

Two nights ago, I dreamt of the orchid given to me several months ago by a friend of mine

who is a contemporary shaman. In the dream, scientists injected me with DNA taken from

the orchid. I took on the striped appearance of the flowers, and a multitude of veins appeared

on my skin. I immediately felt stronger, and I had greater flexibility. Also, all my pain

went away. I felt like I had superpowers.

The next morning, I checked on my beautiful orchid. I expected to see her looking fabulous

as usual, given that she has been in blossom for months. Instead, she was droopy and the

flowers were all withered. Since then, she had lost most of her blossoms.

I knew this had a profound meaning. The connection between my dream and my reality was

too close to ignore. Upon reflection, I believe I unintentionally stole my plants prana

while I was sleeping. As improbable as that may sound, affecting reality while sleeping

is something I do every day. I travel through the multiverse and heal people while in a

lucid dream state.

Ascension Connection: Dreams create reality. In fact, what we consider to be reality is,

in fact, a dream! This is significant for the ascension because we are dreaming the

New Earth into being. In other words, a heart-based 5D reality is being made manifest by our collective

dreams. No wonder sleep is so pleasurable lately, and why Ive been napping

so much.

Negro Leagues Sleuth-Not Forgotten: Real Sports Trailer (HBO) - Duration: 2:04.

Hey, all right! What's going on, man?

BRYANT GUMBEL: Though it may seem strange,

young Cam Perron seems most at home,

when he's hanging around with a bunch of old black men

from a bygone baseball league at a ball park in the deep South.

The old timers have gathered for an annual reunion

of the Negro Leagues.

Which were at one time, the only home

for black baseball players shutout of the majors.

And every year, it's the event that Cam prizes above all else.

I've never missed one.

-You haven't missed any of them? -Nope.

What number was this?

This was the eighth reunion and the tenth event

that we've had in Burmingham.

-And you've made them all? -Yes.

I think I probably would've quit my job

-if they told me I couldn't go. -(GUMBEL CHUCKLES)

GUMBEL: We first met Cam four years ago,

at Rickwood Field, the oldest ball park in America.

A fitting backdrop to celebrate several players of yesteryear.

Back then, Cam was still just a teenager.

MAN: Cam!

GUMBEL: By then, Cam had already become one of this country's

foremost authorities on baseball's old Negro Leaguers.

And one of their closest friends as well.

This unlikeliest of tales began a thousand miles north,

and ten years ago,

when Cam was just a normal boy in suburban Boston.

Collecting any and everything related to baseball.

CAM PERRON: Cards, photos, letters... anything.

Signed baseball cards?

Yup.

And you have how many of these?

-Baseballs? -Yeah.

Four-fifty, 500.

(GUMBEL WHEEZING AND LAUGHING)

GUMBEL: But his interests and his future,

were dramatically altered, when at the age of 12,

he came upon a set of cards featuring players

from leagues in which only the ball was white.

I was fascinated by the fact that it was you know, different.

You know, these people were not like

the mainstream baseball player and I kind of fell for

this whole underdog aspect.

How-to: The nappy-change routine | Mustela - Duration: 1:56.

A baby's skin takes two years to mature so the diaper area is delicate and repeated exposure

to urine and stools can cause redness and pain.

So as soon as a diaper is dirty it is important to clean the diaper area meticulously using

the right kind of product.

Water on its own it is not enough to get rid of urine and stools completely

as they contain bacteria that can cause redness.

Begin cleansing with a piece of cotton pad moisten with high skin tolerance no-rinse

cleansing water.

Always work from the cleanest area to the dirtiest.

So from front to back concentrating on all the skin folds.

If the stools have come up the base of the back, lift baby's legs but be careful not

to raise her pelvis too high, because that can cause reflux.

If necessary turn the baby on her side.

Pat the skin folds and nappy area dry, if there is a rash or redness leave the baby's

bottom exposed to the air so it can dry for a little longer.

If the baby is a boy start from the foreskin and clean carefully downwards under the scrotum.

Paining particular attention to the area between the scrotum and the anus.

For a creamier texture choose a cleansing milk or wipes for extra practicality.

Always apply 1-2-3 vitamin barrier cream before putting the clean diaper on your baby, as

this will prevent, relieve, and repair rashes and redness.

1-2-3 vitamin barrier cream is effective in all circumstances.

In case of diarrhea or teething, and is gentle and easy to apply.

Spread it over your baby's bottom in a thick , uniform layer.

The two key steps in protecting babies from irritation are meticulous cleansing and applying

Will the Swiss be driving at 17? - Duration: 2:55.

An emergency stop in a cordoned-off area.

Learner driver Jonathan Saffra slams on the brake.

The government want to make a lesson on braking compulsory.

That's understandable, but is it really necessary?

For driving instructors, it's been

an absolute basic for the last 28 years.

It should really happen in the very first lesson,

because learner drivers practice

with their parents too,

and they can't brake in an emergency

because they haven't got a brake pedal.

So driving instructors should cover that

with learners in their first lesson.

With a provisional licence in their pocket

and an experienced driver in the passenger seat,

they may soon be able to venture onto the roads at 17.

But it won't be full speed ahead for the driving test.

If you're under 25, you'll need at least one year's driving experience.

The Federal Roads Office

wants to make things safer for young people.

They are most often involved in accidents.

87% of fatal accidents and three quarters of serious injuries

are caused by young people aged between 18 and 24.

It's a question of protecting them.

Giving them more expertise is is vital

before they drive on their own in traffic.

The President of the Zurich Association of Driving Instructors

is sceptical of the planned changes,

particularly the proposed twelve-month period

before youngsters can take their test.

It doesn't guarantee driving practice.

It doesn't depend on the twelve months,

but on the distance they drive,

the hours spent behind the wheel.

There are people who drive an awful lot,

who spend more hours driving in three months

than others do in two years.

Learner driver Jonathan Saffra is a case in point.

He lives in a household that doesn't have a car.

If he wants to practice with his parents, he has to be organized.

Would he have liked to get his provisional licence at 17?

I personally think that's somewhat too young.

At that age, I wouldn't have been mature enough

to drive a car –

But everyone's different.

The driving lesson is over.

Just a couple of points for improvement.

You need to be a bit more observant when you're driving,

particularly at junctions.

And you need to use your rear-view mirrors more.

The government's proposals are now being circulated for consultation.

Under the new rules,

learning to drive would be somewhat cheaper

as only one extra lesson would be needed post-test

rather than the current two.

Radio as an integration project - Duration: 4:31.

It's Saturday morning.

Journalist Absera Tewelde is meeting her fellow editor

Abdu Mohammed in front of Zurich's main station.

They've known each other for years.

They worked at the radio together in Eritrea.

We worked together in Eritrea for 16 years.

When I first arrived in Switzerland

21 months ago I heard

that Abdu was also here.

And I'm very happy about that.

Absera Tewelde has applied for asylum in Switzerland

and is still awaiting the decision.

She asked Abdu Mohammed

if he'd like to be involved in the voluntary project.

The Radio LoRa studio is located at the heart of the Langstrasse district.

Zurich's alternative local radio station

broadcasts its programmes once a month.

Before they go on air they discuss

today's programme with the other editors.

With the programme the editors, some of whom

have lived in Switzerland for four years like Abdu Mohammed,

want to help their compatriots find their way

so that they can integrate into Swiss society.

Hence the name Radio Brhan -

which translates roughly as light or clarity.

New migrants always face the problem

of having to learn the language very quickly.

Because they have to find work.

They have to learn how to find a job.

The radio programme is a pilot project

of Zurich's Organization for Integration AOZ.

The great thing about radio is

that you can provide information in people's mother tongue.

And so you can talk about practical, everyday topics.

Absera Tewelde is ready and will present the programme today.

She speaks Tigrinya - the most widely spoken language in Eritrea -

to greet the listeners:

The programme runs for 90 minutes.

Besides topics related to integration it includes entertainment and music.

Today, an editor recites a traditional poem.

About halfway through the programme a doctor appears as a guest.

She explains how people eat in Switzerland.

People can also see the programme on Facebook or YouTube.

The programme has run for around a year

and, as the AOZ says, its audience is growing.

Absera Tewelde hopes that this will continue for a long time.

The end of a successful day.

Satisfied, the editors set off for home.

They'll only meet up again in a month's time -

for the next programme of "Radio Brhan".
