THE DEEP STATE INSTITUTIONS THAT CONTROL AMERICA THEY DONT CARE WHO YOU VOTE FOR

The Deep State refers to a coordinated effort by career government employees and others

to influence state policy without regard for democratically elected leadership.

Democracy is popular because of the illusion of choice and participation it provides, but

when you live in a society in which most peoples knowledge of the world extends as far as sports,

sitcoms, reality shows, and celebrity gossip, democracy because a very dangerous idea. Until

people are properly educated and informed, instead of indoctrinated to be ignorant mindless

consumers, democracy is nothing more than a clever tool used by the ruling class to

subjugate the rest of of us.

 Gavin Nascimento

When Eisenhower coined the term Military Industrial Complex, his main concern was

the potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power. After him, John F Kennedy

(JFK) warned the citizenry that we are living in a system which has conscripted vast

human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine

that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

He went on to state that its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes

are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure

is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed.

Before both of these two, 28th President of the United States Woodrow Wilson revealed:

Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had mens views confided to me privately. Some

of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are

afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere

so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better

not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.

Perhaps one of the most revealing statements from modern history by a president comes from

the 26th president of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, when he explained how little people

know of how government really operates:

Political parties exist to secure responsible government and to execute the will of the

people.

From these great tasks both of the old parties have turned aside. Instead of instruments

to promote the general welfare, they have become the tools of corrupt interests which

use them impartially to serve their selfish purposes. Behind the ostensible government

sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility

to the people.

To destroy this invisible government, to dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business

and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day.

What these presidents did, as many others have done, is reveal the existence of a government

within the government that has infiltrated the United States. To see some similar quotes

as the ones above, you can refer to this article we published a couple of years ago.

Its no secret that government policy is largely dictated by corporations, and the

financial institutions that sit above them. We no longer live in a democracy, but rather,

a corporatocracy. This is easy to see if you simply follow the money.

As difficult as it was for me, Ive come to an inescapable and profoundly disturbing

conclusion. I believe that an elite group of people and the corporations they run have

gained control over not just our energy, food supply, education, and healthcare, but over

virtually every aspect of our lives; and they do it by controlling the world of finance.

Not by creating more value, but by actually controlling the source of money.

 Foster Gamble

Below is a great clip from the Thrive documentary that explains the modern day banking industry

perfectly.

The Deep State

The military industrial complex, the Deep State, those who the presidents above are

referring to, is comprised of a small group of people and the corporations/institutions

they run. It has been this way for many years, as so many presidential candidates, like Dr.

Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders, have exposed. This organized power completely controls politics,

and they do not care who you vote for.

Regardless of who is elected president, this hidden power has an agenda, and they use politics

to justify it. Just look at the destabilization of the Middle East.

Our perception of politicians and presidents largely comes from mainstream media, not our

ability to think critically about what is going on. If mainstream media praises a candidate,

like Hillary Clinton, thats who the masses prefer. Their power to influence the minds

of the masses is tremendous.

Despite the fact that Donald Trump has been vilified, hes actually taken more action

against this powerful group of elite and their interests than most, but its hard for people

to see this because these corporations (who own the mainstream media, incidentally) continue

to slander him not that he hasnt made it easy for them.

1. The Terror War Industry

One great example is the terror war industry, and the presence of a supposed Islamic

Threat. This perceived threat is maintained through false flag terrorism, a concept that

even the mainstream has acknowledged, particularly since multiple politicians and academics have

revealed it to the world. Vladimir Putin, for example, recently said the attack in Syria

was a false flag, and the globate elite use imaginary and mythical threats

to push forth their agenda.

He, along with many others, also called out the United States and their allies for funding

terrorists organizations. In his recent visit to Saudi Arabia, Donald Trump did the same.

The term terror war industry comes from FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds, who referenced

it during an appearance on RT news. She is a former FBI translator and the founder of

the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition (NSWBC). She gained a lot of attention in

2002 after she accused a colleague of covering up illicit activity involving Turkish nationals,

which included serious security breaches and cover-ups, alluding to intelligence that was

deliberately suppressed.

The Deep State institutions involved with this would be the arms industry and the oil

industry, among others.

2. The Federal Reserve

The federal reserve is a privately owned central bank system in the United States disguised

as a government owned system.

The federal reserve is an independent agency and that means basically that, there is no

other agency of government which can overrule actions that we take.

Alan Greenspan, former Chairman of the Federal Reserve (source)

Henry Ford said that, It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand

our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution

before tomorrow morning.

No matter who you vote for, the banking system doesnt change. These people have the ability

to print money in a way that keeps them protected, and bleeds everybody else dry. As the quote

above from Alan Greenspan illustrates, its an independent agency that can make decisions

no other branches of government can oppose. The people that control the money control

the government, and the presidency. If an institution like the federal reserve isnt

considered a deep state institution, I dont know what is.

Every four years we look to somebody to spark change, but perhaps that whole process is

meant to distract us. Perhaps we are looking in the wrong places.

3. The Military Industrial Complex

Former Republican U.S. congressional aide Mike Lofgren, who retired in 2011 after 28

years as a congressional staffer, defines the Deep State as follows:

It is a hybrid of national security and law enforcement agencies: the Department of Defense,

the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, the Central Intelligence

Agency and the Justice Department. I also include the Department of the Treasury because

of its jurisdiction over financial flows, its enforcement of international sanctions

and its organic symbiosis with Wall Street.

The military industrial complex is huge, and full of private contractors, intelligence

agencies, and other defence agencies that have, just as Eisenhower warned us, amassed

a great deal of power. The crazy thing about it is, nobody knows whats going on in here,

not even the President. If the President and the United States Congress doesnt even

have access to this information, just ask yourself, who does?

Were talking about Special Access Programs (SAPs), in which we have unacknowledged and

waived SAPs. These programs do not exist publicly, but they do indeed exist. They are better

known as Deep Black programs. A 1997 US Senate report described them as so sensitive

that they are exempt from standard reporting requirements to the Congress. Welcome to

the world of secrecy. You can read more about the Black Budget in detail here.

These programs dont change, regardless of who you vote for. These are the institutions,

agencies, and ongoing programs that are above the law, beyond scrutiny, and operating in

near total secrecy.

Business Insider reports that the U.S. intelligence community consists of 17 discreet agencies

that operate with enormous budgets and incredible secrecy, bringing total surveillance and total

information awareness to bear on the people of Earth.

The United States has a history of government agencies existing in secret for years. The

National Security Agency (NSA) was founded in 1952, its existence was hidden until the

mid 1960s. Even more secretive is the National Reconnaissance Office, which was founded in

1960 but remained completely secret for 30 years.

If Voting Doesnt Make A Difference, What Will?

This is the way the system works, its a rotten system, and I see elections as so

much of a charade. So much deceit goes on. . . . whether its a Republican or a Democrat

president, the people who want to keep the status quo seems to have their finger in the

pot and can control things. They just get so nervous so, if they have an independent

thinker out there, whether its Sanders, or Trump, or Ron Paul, theyre going to

be very desperate to try to change things. . . . More people are discovering that the

system is all rigged, and that voting is just pacification for the voters and it really

doesnt count.

Dr. Ron Pal, three time presidential candidate

Voting is simply the illusion of choice. As former New York City Mayor John F. Hylan stated:

The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government, which like a giant octopus sprawls

its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation . . . The little coterie of powerful

international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes.

They practically control both parties.

These Deep State institutions have been in place for a long time, and remain in place

regardless of who votes. So what changes things? Lets take a look at some examples. Take

Genetically Modified Foods, for instance, an issue for which activism and awareness

alone have created groundbreaking change. One example would be the fact that a federal

lawsuit forced the U.S. government to share disturbing facts about genetically engineered

foods.

As a result, a number of countries have since completely banned GMOs and the pesticides

that go with them. This is where change comes from: us, not them. If we constantly look

to one person, who is usually part of the 1 percent, to make significant changes,

nothing will ever change. Politics seems like one big distraction, a place for powerful

people to play games with the population and keep our attention. Its become more of

an entertainment platform as opposed to a real platform for change.

But there is a massive shift in consciousness occurring. The veil that blinds the masses

in so many ways is becoming transparent. Our thoughts and feelings about our world are

changing, and as a result, we are beginning to manifest a new world. We are definitely

living in a time where new information and evidence will conflict with long-held belief

systems

Seeing through this Deep State and the institutions that really call the shots is a key step.

We must create more awareness of these issues and speak up about them instead of just giving

all of our power over to one individual, hoping that they can make some sort of change for

us. We have to do it.

THE SCIENCE OF MANTRAS HOW SACRED SOUNDS HEAL BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT - Duration: 6:46.

THE SCIENCE OF MANTRAS HOW SACRED SOUNDS HEAL BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT

For more than 3000 years mantras (sacred sounds) have been chanted for the purpose of spiritual

healing.

During the early period of Hinduism, spiritual gurus became fascinated by poetry and began

to write sounds in sacred texts like the Rigveda.

Those same sounds have echoed throughout the East all the way to today, and are now chanted

by billions of Hindus, Buddhists and spiritualists the world over.

Today, mantras are chanted for myriad reasons.

There are mantras to cure depression and anxiety, mantras said to create wealth, mantras used

to attract wealth for near every purpose there is a corresponding mantra.

Yet despite the billions of people who use mantras, and the sheer range of their uses,

the Western world has stubbornly turned a blind eye to this oldest of spiritual practices.

It is shocking to think that after 3000 years there is still virtually zero scientific research

to substantiate mantras, but no funding has been given to scientifically investigate this

most important spiritual practice.

And, so, it has fallen to the spiritual community itself to substantiate the mantras.

So what, precisely, do we truly know about mantras?

Yoga masters claim that mantras have the power to create chemical changes in the body.

The argument is that the specific vibrational qualities of mantras create reverberations

in the body that lead to changes on the molecular level.

We can understand how this works when we consider mans relation to sound.

Our auditory faculty has evolved through millions of years to include specific constants that

form the very foundations of our auditory composition.

Many of the sounds we make today, like grunts and some syllables, have been used for millions

of years, long before we became homo-sapiens.

Similar to the way birds use song to communicate information about the weather, we have used

grunts and syllables to form our understanding of the world.

The reason why many of todays words are onomatopoetic is because human vocals were

created as an echo of nature.

Early man used syllables as a way of echoing the sound of the thing they were trying to

describe.

Hence why bob (as in bobbing up and down) sounds like an object bobbing up

and down in the water.

Crash, Bang, Honk, and Chime are other examples.

As mankind has evolved we have moved away from onomatopoetic language.

So it is that English is not nearly as onomatopoetic as Sanskrit, the latter being a much earlier

language.

When we speak in Sanskrit we create sounds that are very closely related to the sounds

of nature.

The sacred Sanskrit word Om, for instance, means Universe and we can hear an echo

of the universe in the sound of the mantra.

We get a sense of the open and infinite nature of the universe when we listen to this sound.

Om is a vey open sound.

It seems to conjure thoughts of an open space, reconnecting us with the vastness of the universe.

To say that Om sounds like an open space, of course, means that it has auditory composition

similar to the way sound vibrates in an actual open space.

The quality of the sound is a recreation of the sound of the real thing.

What does it mean to sound like the real thing?

It means that the sound of the mantra and the sound of an actual open space are very

similar.

In other words, when we recite Om we recreate the vibrational qualities of an actual

open space, and we do so inside the body.

It is as though we are bringing that part of nature, that vast open space of Om,

into our own being.

Not only do we recreate that open space in an auditory and physical sense, we also recreate

it in the mind.

When we recite mantras, we dont simply make sounds.

We meditate on them.

To meditate means to focus consciousness on a certain space.

When we meditate on Om we focus consciousness on the mantra itself.

In other words, we place our consciousness inside the sound, inside OM, and, in

turn, inside the open space that Om represents.

This is the science of mantras.

And it is one of humankinds oldest healing techniques.

For millions of years we have recreated the vibrational qualities of nature using the

voice.

Mantras simply take it further.

When we meditate on those primordial sounds, we place consciousness inside the sound, healing

the mind by reconnecting it with those auditory representations of the natural world.

By changing the vibrational qualities of those sounds, we change the effect the sound has

on the mind.

The root chakra mantra Lam, for instance, grounds us and creates feelings of belonging,

where Ah creates release, helping us to let go.

This is the power of Sanskrit mantras.

They are a way of recreating the vibrational qualities of real-world events, objects, or

spaces in the body, and then placing consciousness inside those sounds by meditating.

Simply chanting a Sanskrit mantra puts us in-tune with positive vibrational energies

that heal body, mind

and spirit.

How God Can Change Your Life // Bayless Conley - Duration: 28:31.

There are many questions you are faced with every day.

We are all searching for answers that will make a real difference in our lives.

It's hard to imagine that these answers might be right in front of us.

Get ready to discover answers in the Bible with Bayless Conley.

You know, the gospel of John is unique in that John only records a handful of miracles

that Christ did.

And then John makes this statement: He said, "These have been recorded that you might

believe that Jesus is the Son of God."

Every miracle he recorded brings us revelation about who Jesus is.

And we're going to be talking in this show about the very first miracle that Christ did.

I believe it's going to be a blessing to you.

So if you've got a Bible… maybe an iPad with a Bible on it, get it.

Let's sit down together.

We're going to get into the Word of God.

And we're going to learn some things about Jesus that are revealed through this miracle

that He does, turning water into wine at the wedding feast in Cana of Galilee.

I want to begin, if you wouldn't mind opening your Bible, to John's gospel, the twentieth

chapter.

John, chapter 20.

"Miracles in the Gospel of John".

John, chapter 20 and verse 30.

John makes this statement:

And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written

in this book; but these are written that you may believe

that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His

name.

So John had a specific reason for recording the miracles that he did in his gospel.

And I think it's interesting to know that for a period of over 450 years there were

no recorded miracles.

From the time of Malachi to John there were no prophets.

That's a 400-year period.

And the Scripture says in John that John the Baptist, that he did no miracle.

The last recorded miracle was in the Book of Daniel when God shut the mouths of the

lions and delivered Daniel from the lions' den.

That was 450 years before the first miracle of Christ.

And John only records eight miracles, and he calls them signs.

There are several words that he could have used, words the other gospel writers used,

but John calls them signs.

A sign is a miracle that teaches a lesson.

They are miracles that show Christ's person in glory.

They are written not just to amaze, but to instruct.

And the eight miracles recorded by John, the first one that we are going to be looking

at tonight in John, chapter 2, is turning water into wine.

The second one is the healing of the nobleman's son.

It's recorded in John, chapter 4.

The third is the healing of the man that had been sick 38 years.

That's in John, chapter 5.

And then there was the feeding of the five thousand with five barley loaves and two small

fish, John, chapter 6.

Also in John, chapter 6, is Peter walking on the water…

Christ walking on the water, Himself.

That was miracle, number five.

The sixth miracle is the healing of the man born blind.

You find that in John, chapter 9.

In John, chapter 11, we have the raising of Lazarus from the dead.

And then, finally, in John, chapter 21, there is that supernatural catch of 153 large fish

where the net didn't break.

But, let's look at the first one, John, chapter 2.

Turn there with me, if you would.

The first recorded miracle of Christ is He turned water into wine at a wedding.

John, chapter 2, and verse 1.

On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine."

Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me?

My hour has not yet come."

His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."

Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification

of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.

Jesus said to them, "Fill the waterpots with water."

And they filled them up to the brim.

And He said to them, "Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast."

And they took it.

When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know

where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast

called the bridegroom.

And he said to him, "Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests

have well drunk, then the inferior.

You have kept the good wine until now!"

This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and

His disciples believed in Him.

Or we could say their faith was strengthened in Him because they did have a fledging faith

and they were following Him.

But their belief in Him was solidified.

Now this first miracle, this beginning of signs took place in Cana.

Why was this the first sign?

Why did John record it?

Because this first sign symbolizes conversion.

It symbolizes transformation.

This very first sign symbolizes change.

And, my friend, spiritual and moral change is the first thing on the agenda for man when

it comes to God dealing with humanity.

Change, an inward change.

And with that in mind, let me begin by sharing some thoughts from this story about conversion

or about salvation, some truths that I believe that this sign was meant to point to.

All right, first, the master of the feast, he didn't know of the change.

Only the servants knew.

Only those who experience conversion understand it.

A lot of my friends just didn't get it when I got saved.

They said, "Look, something has happened to Bayless.

We don't know what it is.

He doesn't do drugs, anymore.

He still hangs around with us; but, I mean, he's sober.

Have you ever seen him sober before?

This is weird."

And somebody says, "It gets worse.

I saw him in the park the other day, and he was reading a Bible!"

"You're kidding!

A Bible?"

"Yeah, he's reading a Bible.

But that's not the end of it.

He's talking about Jesus all the time.

And I heard he's going to a church!"

"What?

He's going to a church?

I don't believe it!"

"I didn't, either.

But it's true!

It's freaking me out!

Of all people, Bayless!"

Some of you were misunderstood by your family.

You accepted Christ, and they just looked at you and shook their heads.

It's something you can't understand from the outside.

You can only understand it from getting on the inside by being born again.

And I don't know if you noticed, but just the contents were changed, not the pots.

Second Corinthians 4:7 says, "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the

excellence and the power may be of God and not of us."

My friend, when you get saved, when a person is converted, the part of them that changes

is their spirit, not their body.

It's not outward; it is inward.

In fact, we're right here at John 2.

Look in in the third chapter with me, if you would.

Jesus is carrying on a conversation with the ruler of the Jews named Nicodemus.

And look in verses 6 and 7.

Jesus said,

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Do not marvel that I said to you, "You must be born again.'

Jesus is saying is that the part of a person that is born again is not their flesh.

You get your flesh and blood body from your parents, but that which is born of the Holy

Spirit is the human spirit.

It's the person on the inside that gets changed.

Second Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;

old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new."

Now, obviously, that's not outward.

I got saved, and I still had freckles.

My eyes were still green.

Nothing outward had changed, but something inward had definitely, definitely changed.

Now, see, I'm looking at a room full of pots right now.

But there's wine in the pots.

There's more to you than meets the eye.

You know, I have this lovely watch that Harrison and Bethany gave me some time ago.

You can see this movement on the face of the watch.

There's a red second hand; there's a little calendar that turns; there's a minute hand;

you know, there's an hour hand; there's movement that can be recognized outwardly.

But it's only because there's things going on, on the inside that allows the face of

the watch to give expression.

And if you take the insides out, if you take away all of the internal mechanisms and the

battery, the watch is dead.

It has no expression without the internal mechanisms, without the internal battery.

And, my friend, when you take the spirit out of the body, the spirit is dead.

The book of James declares, "The spirit… the body without the spirit is dead.

And it's the inside part of you, it's your spirit that needs to be born again.

Now verse 7,

Jesus said to them, "Fill the waterpots with water."

And they filled them up to the brim.

Just a couple thoughts on this.

You know, they didn't fill them halfway.

They filled them to the brim.

They obeyed with zeal.

And I think that's the way it ought to be.

There's a lot of half-hearted work that goes on in God's house in the body of Christ.

But what we do, we ought to do to the brim.

If it's believing, do it with all of your heart.

If it's preaching, preach in season and out of season.

Don't preach like you're half asleep and don't believe what you're saying, yourself,

anyway.

If it's, you know, if it's praying, pray mightily.

Fill it up to the brim.

If it's studying, turn the Scriptures inside out and lay ahold of them like your life depended

on it.

Study to the brim.

If it's giving, do it with liberality.

Fill the vessels to the brim.

We're to serve the Lord with all of our hearts.

What we set our hand to, we're supposed to do it with all of our heart, all of our

strength.

It's a little side note, but I love the fact that they didn't just fill them up

a little bit.

They didn't just put some water in.

They filled them up to the brim.

And then, you know, when they took them to the master of the feast, he calls the bridegroom

and says, "Hey, everybody sets out the good wine at first; and when everybody's had

a little bit to drink, then they put out the inferior wine.

You've kept the good wine until now."

The Christian life is better than our unsaved days.

The best I had unsaved does not compare with the life I have now.

My old life was much inferior in every way, and I wouldn't go back for any price.

Just another thought: Did you notice Jesus didn't charge for the wine?

You can't pay for salvation, my friend.

It is a free gift of God's grace that just must be received.

And then, you know, this miracle of transformation was accomplished by His words and by His servants.

By His word; by His servants.

Men and women experience new life in Christ and they're saved through the foolishness

of preaching.

First Corinthians 1:21 says, "It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save

those who believe."

Romans 10:14 asks the question, "How shall they call on Him on whom they have not believed?

How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?

And how shall they hear without a preacher?"

Now we're born again through the incorruptible seed of the Word, but someone must plant the

seed.

Yes, it was His word, but it was also, you know, there was the involvement of servants,

as well.

And, you know, these servants, they were just mere men.

It doesn't talk about their life, but I can guarantee you they were men that had faults

and inconsistencies and failings.

Yet no one rejected the wine because of the weakness or the failings of the servants.

Don't reject the Gospel just because of the humanity of the vessel that brings it.

That's why Paul said in Second Corinthians 4:5, "For we do not preach ourselves, but

Christ Jesus the Lord and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake."

I mean, why reject the meal because those who are serving it are disappointing?

Let's take it a step farther.

You are lost out in the desert, hopelessly lost.

It's hot, you haven't had anything to drink in a couple of days; you realize you

are on the verge of perishing.

All of a sudden over the sand dunes you hear a strange noise.

And here comes this old rusty Jeep driving your way.

The guy stops in the Jeep, and he is a sight to see.

He hasn't shaved in who knows how long, he stinks, you can smell him from where you

are.

His lips are chapped; his skin is sunburned.

He says, "Hey, you want a drink of water?

And I'd be glad to drive you out of here."

You say, "No, I'm not taking any water from you.

You look a mess!

And you stink!

You obviously don't know anything about hygiene.

And there hasn't been any proper introductions.

I don't want your water, and I don't want your ride.

Get out of here!"

All right, go ahead and die.

You know what?

You are not going to find a minister of the Gospel or a Christian anywhere that doesn't

have some issues, doesn't have some faults.

You know, they said of John the Baptist, "Ah, you know, he has a demon.

He doesn't eat with us and he doesn't drink with us."

Well, Jesus came eating and drinking, and they said, "Ah, He's a glutton, and He

drinks too much wine."

I mean, you couldn't please the people.

It's easy to find faults in people if you look for them.

And maybe you've been turned off by somebody that tried to share with you.

Listen, don't judge the whole parade by a couple of clowns, okay?

The Gospel is real.

Don't reject the message because the one bringing it is disappointing.

And I think the main lessons in this story actually do deal with conversion, but there's

more to it than that.

And I want to talk about a few of the other lessons we can learn here.

In verse 5, I love it.

To me, these are some of the most powerful words in all the Bible.

Now Mary, you know, when she told Jesus, "You know, they have no wine."

And the indication in the original language may be, "Hey, they've just about run out

of wine."

And Jesus, you know, kindly rebuffed her.

The phrase "woman" is not derogatory in any way.

You find it used throughout the New Testament, even sometimes when an angel would address

a woman.

So it wasn't derogatory.

He wasn't shaming her.

But there was a mild rebuff in that.

He said, "Look, what does your concern have to do with Me?

My time is not yet."

Maybe His time just had to do with when the wine completely ran out and there would be

no human way to solve it.

Maybe it was just that He was going to hear from the Father in the next few moments.

But Mary, I think, though she had observed no miracle of Christ because the Scripture

says this is the first miracle He did, I think, she had grown to know Him well enough, having

raised Him and knowing where He came from and who He was, that she was pretty sure He

was going to do something.

And she said… and here again, here's the powerful words: "Whatever He says to you,

do it."

Not whatever He says to you, write a song about it; whatever He says to you, pray about

it; whatever He says to you, have a panel discussion about it.

Whatever He says to you, do it.

And Jesus then tells the servants to do something ridiculous.

There's these stone vessels there, He said, "Fill them with water."

Now that doesn't make sense; but, you know, when God is about to bless you, He most normally

issues a command.

And if that command is obeyed, many times miracles follow.

I mean, think about this: "Fill them with water."

"Water?

Did You not hear Your mother?

They're not out of water.

They're out of wine!

This makes no sense.

This is ridiculous.

It's idiotic.

And besides that, a hundred and fifty gallons of water?

Jesus, come on!

Do you know how long that's going to take us?

I mean, we've got a two-gallon bucket here.

That's 75 dips down in the well.

We're going to be at this for an hour!

Come on!"

But they do it.

They don't argue.

They just do it.

It makes no sense, it's laborious, but they do it.

And then He says, "All right, now take some out, give it to the master of the feast."

"What?

Look, my job's on the line here.

I take that guy some water, and I'm never going to get a gig working another wedding

ever!

You know, this is a small town, Jesus.

Everybody's going to hear about this.

You really want me to do that?"

But there was, you know, no argument.

They just did it.

And there's no indication that would let us think that somehow the water turned to

wine before they took it.

I think it turned to wine in process or after they handed it to the master of the feast.

It took faith.

Sometimes we have to do the ridiculous before God will do the miraculous.

We must obey even if, at times, it makes no sense.

And you may even feel at times that God is somehow toying with you, having a laugh at

your expense.

Let me assure you, He is not.

Our part is to obey and to do it zealously.

To fill it up to the brim.

And once we've obeyed, the miracle part is up to Him.

We draw the water, He turns it into wine; we lower the nets, He brings the fish; we

circle the city and shout, He causes the walls to fall down.

Now somebody says, "A hundred and fifty gallons of wine!

What, did God want everybody to get drunk?"

Well, no.

A wedding in those days wasn't just a couple hours on a Sunday afternoon.

It actually lasted for an entire week.

And, generally, the whole village was invited.

Jesus met the need of an entire village.

He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider, and no matter what kind of a need you have

or how great it might be, He can meet that need.

And, you know, there is no indication that they drank all of it.

This is just what I personally think.

I think all the leftover wine was just a wedding gift to that bridegroom and that bride from

Jesus.

Do you remember, I think it's either in First or Second Kings 4…

Second Kings, it would have to be… with Elisha.

And there was a widow woman, and he says, "All right, go borrow vessels, not a few."

She's ready to die.

She just has a little jar of oil.

And she gets her kids, so she's going to have to sell her kids into, you know, an indenture

service.

And so she gets all these vessels from all the neighbors and starts pouring out that

oil.

It pours out and pours out, and she fills all those vessels, says, "Okay, give me

another."

And the boy said, "There's no more."

She goes and tells the prophet.

He says, "All right, go ahead and sell it.

Pay your debts and live on the rest."

And just knowing how kind and wonderful our Savior is, I think all of that leftover amazing

wine… can you imagine how good wine is that the Son of God made?

Some of you wine connoisseurs in here, you have no idea!

And so there is this beautiful gift given to this little couple… and, again, that's

just my personal theology.

You don't have to agree with that.

But Jesus did make 150 gallons of wine.

And He did the miracle at a simple wedding in a remote town among poor people in Cana.

Whoever heard of Cana?

It was a tiny village in Galilee.

He did not do His first miracle in Herod's palace or in front of the religious elite.

There were no kings, no dignitaries present that day.

Just a young couple in distress and embarrassed because they had run out of wine at their

wedding.

And there was quite a social stigma that would have been attached to that.

Some people would have thought that it was a sign that their marriage would have been

cursed.

It was literally a social disaster for them with a degree of disgrace attached to it that

it would take them years to outlive.

Jesus met their need in that obscure village… away from the famous, out of the sight of

the religious leaders… in Cana.

You know, it's interesting.

Cana belonged to the tribe of Asher of which the dying Jacob prophesied when he got his

son, Asher, before him, and he said, "He will provide delicacies fit for a king."

Well, it certainly happened that day in that remote, unknown town.

And just maybe you are here listening to me, and you feel looked over and passed by in

the grand scheme of things.

You might think, "Nobody even knows who I am."

My friend, God does.

And delicacies fit for a king can happen to you.

But you first need to do what this couple did.

They invited Jesus.

Jesus was not a gate crasher.

He comes into our lives and into our circumstances by invitation only.

Have you invited Him in?

If you want to experience that transformation that takes place on the inside, changes the

contents of the pot, you have to invite Him in.

He won't force Himself on you.

It's this amazing thing called a free will.

I don't know if you've ever contemplated it, but there really is no such thing as genuine

love without a free will.

God didn't make, you know, a race of automatons.

He literally gave us the ability to reject Him if we don't want Him in our lives.

And I'll guarantee you, if you don't want God in your earthly life for 70 or 80 years,

you are not going to want Him throughout eternity, and you won't be bothered with it.

But if He's going to come into your life, you have to invite Him in.

You know, salvation is a gift as we said.

But it's a gift that must be received.

Even in the book of Revelation, Jesus is pictured standing at the door of our heart and knocking.

Well friend, the handle is on the inside.

If you don't open the door He is not coming in.

If you don't invite Him in, if you don't receive Him, you'll never be a partaker

of salvation.

And the truth is, God has no grandchildren.

Your mama and daddy can't piggyback you into God's kingdom.

Your husband, your wife can't bring you into God's kingdom.

You have to make a decision on your own.

And the good news, Jesus said whoever comes to me I will not cast aside, I will not turn

away.

It doesn't matter how bad you've been.

It doesn't matter that you didn't do what you should have done or that you did something

that you shouldn't have done.

You are loved by God, fiercely loved by God.

And Jesus Christ has already shed His blood to redeem you.

So right now wherever you are just open your heart to Him.

Confess Him as the Lord of your life.

Be sincere, talk to God.

Use your own words.

My friend, He will hear you.

He sees you now and He is listening to you right now.

How clear is your vision for your life and the future?

Sometimes we struggle through life and it's merely because we don't have a clear vision.

The Bible says, "Where there is no vision the people parish."

The power of vision is something that you need to find out about.

Jesus wants us absolutely passionate and on fire.

And it's one of the things that vision will do.

It keeps us on target, and it keeps us on fire.

What is she saying?(30) (Listening Practice) [ ForB English Lesson ] - Duration: 3:06.

Hi, everyone!

I'm Gabriella.

You're watching ForB English and today we're guessing.

What is she saying?

So you're going to guess what I'm saying.

Are you ready?

Could you say that again?

Could you say that again?

Could you say that again?

What am I saying?

Let's try it now, with a hint.

Could you say that again?

Could you say that again?

Could you say that again?

Let's try that one time slowly.

Could you say that again?

Could you say that again?

Could you say that again?

Could you get it this time?

I'm going to reveal the answer now.

The answer is the question "Could you say that again?"

Now this is a very useful question in English, especially when you're learning English around the world,

because many times you will need to ask a native speaker "Could you say that again?"

and that's really going to help you to repeat and listen to repeated phrases

from the native speaker and that's actually the best way to learn English.

Now let's talk a little bit about the pronunciation of this phrase.

Our advice is to break it down into three parts, so the first part is "could you".

So it's like a "due", "due" sound.

"Could you say", like "say", "thad-again, "thad-again", so you can hear the sounds combining "thad-again"

and it's a "d" sound, not "t" as well: natural, relaxed, native speech, especially when we talk fast.

So let's practice this together now.

So please repeat after me.

Could you say that again?

OK. A little bit faster.

Could you say that again?

And one more time native speed.

Could you say that again?

Very good.

Now also notice my intonation goes up at the end because it's a question.

So let's try it three times native speed now with intonation.

Could you say that again?

Could you say that again?

Could you say that again?

Excellent!

Good job, Probably the most useful phrase in English you'll ever learn.

So could you say that again?

Please try it.

I'm Gabriella.

The dark genius of covfefe With one stupid tweet, Donald Trump is winning again - Duration: 7:20.

The dark genius of covfefe With one stupid tweet, Donald Trump is winning again

I have watched almost all 618 episodes of the animated TV series The Simpsons.

Along with King of the Hill and The Boondocks, it adds up to an insightful

and honest commentary on American culture and politics, through a seemingly unlikely

medium.

One of my favorite Simpsons episodes is called Homer vs. Dignity, in which

Homer, desperate for money, asks his boss, the megalomaniacal billionaire Montgomery

Burns, for a raise.

Mr. Burns makes a counterproposal.

Homer will become Mr. Burns personal toy and prank monkey, whom he will humiliate

in various ways, including dressing him in a female panda suit and mating him with

an aroused male panda of the species at the local zoo.

As Mr. Burns mocks Homer the prank monkey, he throws money at him.

After watching this episode dozens of times since it debuted in 2000, I have come to the

conclusion that it is an indictment not just of Mr. Burns and the callous cruelty of Americas

plutocrats and Wall Street robber barons, but of Homer Simpson as well.

Poor Homer, like too many other Americans, is a slave to consumerism and measures his

self-worth by the amount of money in his pocket and his ability to buy things he does not

really need.

Homer is easily manipulated and he literally dances for the crumbs his boss throws at him.

Donald Trump is a cartoon president who has succeeded in making America a joke before

the world.

Unfortunately, Trump has dragged down many members of the American public with him.

This includes not just the human deplorables who bathe in Trumps political effluence

as though it were pristine water from the fountain at Lourdes, but also Trumps detractors,

who are all too keen to jump on every apparent gaffe in order to enjoy a moment of liberal

Schadenfreude as they signal their superiority over the mouth-breathing rubes of the white

working class who voted for him.

The most recent episode in America as a cartoon series starring Mr. Trump the unpredictable

billionaire occurred on Tuesday evening.

In response to a story about his adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner seeking a dubious

and clandestine means of communicating with the Russian government, Trump wrote a notorious

tweet that began Despite the constant negative press covfefe and ended there as well.

Covfefe has been trending online ever since.

It will be turned into a meme, become an object of fun on late-night television and likely

make an appearance on Saturday Night Live in the near future.

The chattering classes will try to assign some profound or hilarious meaning to covfefe.

It will be the subject of dozens if not hundreds of columns and essays.

Somewhere, right now, a writer is trying to analyze the semiotics of covfefe and

what it tells us about language formation and identity performance online.

Spoiler alert: The meaning of covfefe is not that deep.

Trump was trying to type coverage and screwed it up.

In all, Covfefe-gate is a distraction from a horrible truth and a signal of the collective

frustration that Trumps opponents have felt since his election in November.

In the ways that matter Donald Trump is winning.

The Republican Party has embraced him in a type of political suicide pact as he advocates

for its most extreme and cruel policies.

Trump has filled a vacant U.S. Supreme Court seat with Neil Gorsuch, a right-wing extremist

and ideologue whose influence on America will far outlast Trumps relatively short time

in office.

Trump and the Republicans have already sabotaged the Affordable Care Act and are now close

to destroying it outright, a decision that will kill tens of thousands of Americans a

year.

They are also tearing apart the social safety net and punishing the elderly, the poor, the

sick and most vulnerable in order to give the very richest Americans more money.

Trumps administration is also eliminating civil rights protections for people of color,

women, gays and lesbians, those with disabilities and other vulnerable and marginalized groups

in America.

Trumps attorney general, Jeff Sessions, as well as Republicans more generally, are

determined to keep African-Americans and others from voting.

In addition, Sessions will not act to prevent police thuggery and other violence against

black and brown Americans.

This is a de facto endorsement of police brutality against people of color.

Trump has undermined NATO and Americas leadership in the world at the behest, and

perhaps the direct command, of Vladimir Putin.

Trump now appears certain to withdraw the United States from the Paris climate accords.

This move can only bring humanity closer to our doom as a species.

Trump and members of his administration have shown a reckless disregard for democratic

norms.

They are embroiled in scandals.

They abuse power and obstruct justice, operate the White House as a personal racket and a

tool for lining their pockets with public money and have likely been manipulated by

a foreign power.

Yet Trump has not been impeached and wont be anytime soon.

His voters still support him.

The Republican Party and the right-wing echo chamber have successfully insulated their

president from any consequences for his fiendish behavior.

Most important, Trump and the Republican Party have normalized fascism and authoritarianism

in America.

For Trumps opponents, this is all maddening and frustrating.

They laugh to keep from crying while trying to make sense of the unimaginable and what

must feel like a living nightmare from which they cannot awake.

In all, their jabs and mocking of covfefe is not some type of Mikhail Bakhtin-like act

of cultural resistance by the serfs against the expansive power of the king and the church.

Rather it is desperation and impotent powerlessness.

Real resistance to Trumps regime will involve marching and mobilizing, consumer and labor

strikes, doing the hard work of building alliances across the divides of class and race, renewing

the countrys civic culture, running for local and state office, using the courts and

the law to push back against Republican anti-democratic gerrymander schemes, and expending blood,

sweat and tears to stop Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

Making fun of Trumps illiterate or clumsy statements can be a complement to substantive

resistance.

It is in no way a substitute for it.

Ultimately, liberals, progressives and others who endlessly enjoy mocking Donald Trumps

errors in grammar and spelling as well as his more general lack of intelligence and

grace still cannot accept that they were bested by a buffoon.

Dance monkeys, dance.

In many ways, his detractors are Homer Simpson and Donald Trump is Mr. Burns.

Covfefe may be nothing more than Trump throwing crumbs at his enemies for his own

amusement.

VEGAN BODYBUILDERS THAT WILL LITERALLY SMASH YOUR VEGAN STEREOTY - Health - Duration: 4:20.

VEGAN BODYBUILDERS THAT WILL LITERALLY SMASH YOUR VEGAN STEREOTYPE

Since I was a child, there has been a big misconception about non-meat eaters, whether

they are vegetarians or vegans, that once deterred me from ever believing giving up

meat was healthy, and then, as an adult, made me want to give up meat even more.

Questions circulating the topic typically involved, How do you get enough protein?

and How do you get enough iron?

It was, for a long time, assumed that the best way to get protein and iron was to eat

meat, and that giving meat up meant sacrificing your health.

Thankfully, however, a growing movement supporting plant-based eating has since debunked such

myths.

You can get plenty of protein from:

Lentils, 18 grams of protein per cup Chickpeas, 12 grams/cup

Tempeh, 41 grams per cup Black beans, 15 grams per cup

Nuts and nut butters, varied Tofu, 11 grams per 4 ounces

Quinoa, 9 grams per cup Other legumes, varied

Grains, varied You can get plenty of iron from:

Legumes: lentils, soybeans, tofu, tempeh, lima beans

Grains: quinoa, fortified cereals, brown rice, oatmeal

Nuts and seeds: pumpkin, squash, pine, pistachio, sunflower, cashews, unhulled sesame

Vegetables: tomato sauce, swiss chard, collard greens

Perhaps for a normal person this kind of diet might make sense, but what about for

a bodybuilder?

Is it possible to get strong and have a muscular body on a vegan diet?

Yes.

And the following bodybuilders stories prove it.

This Ironman triathlete and bodybuilder clearly shows how vegan can be strong.

Thinking animals can be used in a humane and safe manner to produce dairy products

is simply not true . The cruelty and torture that can be involved is just as bad as the

slaughtering, Thompson said, explaining his switch to veganism.

[D]oing something I passionately believe is right made it an easy transition.

Erin Fergus

Named Womens Physique Pro by the Organization of Competitive Bodybuilders, Fergus celebrated

with a Facebook post that gave a proper shoutout to veganism.

A vegan pro, how about that?!

I MADE HISTORY AGAIN FOR THE ANIMALS! Max Seabrook

While there has long been a stigma that vegans cant be as strong as meat eaters, theres

also been a stigma surrounding bodybuilders, and any other career based on physical appearance.

Seabrook is not only a vegan bodybuilder and animal rights activist, however, but also

a med student and certified personal trainer, and holds a B.Sc. in human biomedical science.

Samantha Shorkey

In 2014, Shorkey proved she could not only hang with the meat-eating bodybuilders, but

beat them, when she won first place in the overall bikini title at the INBF South Western

Natural Championships.

I do my best to make conscious decisions that do not contribute to the exploitation,

death, and suffering of our animal friends, she says of being vegan.

Ryan Nelson

Nelson proves plant-powered bodybuilding is nothing short of badass. The animal

rights activist said in an Instagram post, If you really want to make a change, GO

VEGAN!

Eating animals and their byproducts is f*cking up Mother Earth and her climate.

Plus its cruel AF and just downright weird!

Its 2017, the choice is yours.

Take animals off the plate!
