Hi. Today I will show you how to make peony made from crepe paper.
I made it by request from my viewers.
Detailed list of all needed items is in the description of this video.
First, take a darkest crepe paper and cut a strip. 8cm x 20cm.
Stretch it a little. Fold it a few times.
Cut the petals. About 10mm of width.
Curl them a little by using scissors.
Take slightly brighter crepe paper and cut a strip. 8 cm x 35cm.
Stretch it a little.
Fold it.
Cut the petals. About 20mm of width.
Gently stretch an end of each petal.
Take the brightest crepe paper and cut a strip. 8.5cm x 25cm.
Stretch it and fold it.
Cut the petals. About 25mm of width.
Crease them a little.
Now, roll up the first strip.
Tie it by using thread.
Add second strip.
Tie it strongly.
Add the last strip slightly lower than previous one.
Tie it by using thread.
Unfold the petals.
Cut off an excess of crepe paper.
Cut a piece of dark crepe paper.
Take a small pieces of crepe paper and wrap them.
Twist an end.
Cut 2 narrow strips. Stretch them. Cut the leaves.
Take a flower bud, a floral wire and the leaves.
Bind them together by using floral tape.
Cut the strips from green crepe paper. 4cm x 12cm.
Cut the leaves.
Stretch them a little.
Attach a piece of wire to a leaf by using floral tape.
Put a floral wire into a center of flower.
Fold the end of wire. This should block it inside the flower.
Wrap the stalk by using floral tape.
Attach the leaves...
...and the flower bud.
Now a sprig. Cut the strips. 3cm x 13cm each.
Cut the leaves.
Attach them to the wires.
Finally, bind a few leaves together.
And it's done.
These peonies looks almost as real ones.
They will be a beautiful summer decoration.
You can use them to make a bouquet and give it to someone you like.
