Hi, Dozle here brining you another Clash Royale video.
I want to introduce you to Radwimps, Japan's No. 1 player.
Radwimps was the first Japanese player to reach Ultimate Champion.
He finished first last season as well. He won 6,400 trophies to reach Ultimate Champion. 6400 is crazy, isn't it?
I struggled just getting to 5000. Anyway, he's a player that reached 6400 trophies.
Radwimps uses a very interesting deck. We're seeing more decks using the Battle Rams Three Musketeers combo recently,
but what's original about Radwimps' deck is his use of the Minion Hordes and Heal.
t's very interesting. He uses the Heal on the Minion Horde and the Three Musketeers to take down Towers. So let's check out some of his game replays!
Let's take a look at some replays. I have three for you today so let's check them out.
The key card for this deck is the Heal.
Does he cast the Heal spell on the Minion Horde or on the Three Musketeers?
He varies it depending on what spell or deck the opponent is using.
His first opponent here is using a Skeleton Army template.
The opponent quickly targets a unit with his Knight and Baby Dragon and sends out the Skeleton Army right away.
Radwimps takes on the Knight and Baby Dragon with the Battle Ram which is something you want to remember.
When I used this deck,
I received my opponent's attack with the Knight or the Skeleton, but once I learned to use the Battle Ram, the battles became a lot easier.
So keep in mind that the Battle Ram can be an option. Right here. This is his go-to pattern.
The Battle Ram and the Minion Horde.
The point here is not casting Heal right away.
I think he delayed using the Heal because he didn't know what his opponent's offensive spell was.
Once he sees that his opponent used the Poison, he stacked on the Heal to take down his Tower with the Minion Horde.
If the opponent has Arrows or the Fireball, your Minion Horde or Battle Ram will die in an instant if you cast the Heal too early.
Which would be a waste of 3 Elixir. Radwimps' style is to wait casting the Heal until he knows what his opponent's spell is.
The exhilaration of quickly taking down a Tower with the Minion Horde plus the Heal is what's fun about this deck. Please try it out for yourself.
You see him attacking now with the Three Musketeers plus the Battle Ram.
This pairing is pretty tough to handle.
You can't ignore the Battle Ram and if you try to take him out first, you have two Musketeers firing from the rear. It's a very tricky combination.
Now you see his opponent attacking with the Baby Dragon and the Skeleton Army. This is what's difficult about the Skeleton Army.
The Baby Dragon takes out its target while the Skeleton Army takes out the Tower.
Radwimps sends out the Battle Ram into the Tower while casting the Heal and just barely keeps the Minion Horde alive.
It didn't do major damage, but he kept pressuring his opponent.
You see him split his Musketeers here, sending two the right. I think, he's trying to send the two Musketeers plus the Battle Ram up the right.
Oh, wait. He's going for the left.
He stacked the Battle Ram with the Minion Horde.
He sees his opponent play the Skeleton Army so he quickly adds another Minion Horde and heals them.
And it's over.
That must've felt good.
Radwimps didn't force his way up the left.
His opponent sent out a single Skeleton Army from behind and figured he couldn't defend, Elixir cost wise, so he sent his Minion Horde with the Battle Ram and used the Heal to take down the King's Tower.
Let's check out the second game replay.
The second replay features the X-bow deck which is very popular right now.
The X-bow deck has many different templates. The X-bow is powerful.
A lot of ranked players use it too.
Radwimps first sends out the Battle Ram. There's something I want to mention about the Battle Ram. The moment the Barbarians drop the ram, they become completely untargeted.
It's both good and bad. The bad thing is, like you just saw here, they slip out of the X-Bow's sights and the arrows hit the Tower.
The good thing about it is, they can act as lightning rods for the Lightning.
The Lightning does damage to three units with high stamina within its AoE.
For example, if you cast it on the Three Musketeers plus the Battle Ram in its AoE, you'd think it would strike the Battle Ram once and 2 or 3 times on the Three Musketeers.
But for some strange reason when it's cast on the Battle Ram, the ram is struck once and the Barbarians once each.
So it takes on all three lightning strikes by itself. It matches up really well with the Lightning.
Right here, he heals the Minion Hordes and takes out the Tower on the left.
It's so powerful.
I've shown you how he uses the Heal and the Minion Hordes to take down Towers so far, but he also uses the Heal on the Three Musketeers as well. You rarely see the combination of the Heal and the Three Musketeers against an opponent with the Lightning.
But most opponents using the Fireball would probably fire it towards the two Musketeers that are split up.
Even if they're hit by the Fireball, you can resurrect dying Musketeers.
That's powerful. When you consider that you can heal them for only half of the 6 Elixir out 9 Elixir, the Heal has great value. The opponent here has the Fireball.
Radwimps sees that he's using the Fireball then sends out the Three Musketeers. This deck is built to bait out the opponent's Fireball.
If the Fireball is used on the Three Musketeers, your Minion Horde comes to life. If it's used on the Minion Horde, the Three Musketeers come to life.
I think it's a deck that effectively depletes your opponent's spell.
Right here you see him take down the King's Tower to end the game.
He's not choosing weak opponents either. The players in this trophy range are all amazing players. Even against players like that, Radwimps' Heal deck can take down King's Towers. It's simply terrifying.
Let's go over the last replay.
The opponent is using a Hog Bait deck.
A Hog and Barrel combo, I believe. It's been a popular deck for a while.
Although its popularity has leveled off lately.
Right here, he deals with the Goblin Barrel with the Log.
There's a lot of ways to drop the barrel.
Depending on how the barrel is thrown, you can somewhat predict where it lands supposedly.
I'll go over that in another video.
Right here, he used the Heal. That is interesting. The opponent was caught off guard there. It was used like the Freeze.
To blindside them. The opponent played the Princess to handle the Minion Horde.
Using the Heal in that way can be very effective.
It's interesting. The Heal can be used in a variety of ways. Using it to counter the Poison or to catch the opponent off guard like Radwimps just did.
There are variations of using it on the Minions too.
If you know your opponent will be using the Fireball for sure,
using the Heal would be a waste of 3 Elixir.
So you need to observe and study your opponent's strategy carefully. I think you'll find yourself losing a lot when you first start using this deck. I practiced using this deck after seeing
Radwimps' replay, but I would waste my Heal spell or I wouldn't know how to use it offensively. It might be a struggle at first, but once you get the hang of it it's a really fun deck.
Right here you see him conserving the Heal, making his opponent sacrifice one unit and then he regroups. The Three Musketeers is an interesting element of this deck.
It's a card that baits spells out the opponent.
The Three Musketeers and the Minion Horde are hard to take out without using spells.
Radwimps built this deck utilizing the characteristics of his cards. He separates his Musketeers against the opponent's Hog Rider to bait out the Fireball. Once the Fireball is used,
he sends his Musketeers up the right with the Minion Horde.
Will he heal them?
He definitely has the Heal ready to cast there. Oh, the Battle Ram then the Heal. Amazing. He added the Battle Ram just now.
So, those were replays of Radwimps playing against three types of decks that are pretty popular right now.
It's a hard deck to use initially. It's hard knowing how to use the Battle Ram or the Heal, but once you get the hang of it it's satisfying. It feels good taking down towers using a healed Minion Horde. I hope you try it out.
Today's video was Celica Square's Radwimps offensive strategy.
Radwimps started his own channel where he reviews his own gameplay so I hope you check that out. Celica Square's leader Asu No Mirai posts videos every day too so check that out as well. That's it for today. I'll see you in the next video. Bye!
