Rubina is here just for you with an another episode of bachelors cooking.
Today we are going to make an unique recipe and i.e Spinach Idli
Let's move on towards its ingredients
Oil, Chopped Onion, Grated Carrot, Spinach Paste
I have put in some spinach leaves in mixer jar and blend them with some water and prepared their paste.
This is grind spinach paste
Boiled and mashed potatoes, Coriander leaves
Chopped Green Chillies, Ginger-Garlic Paste
So let's make Spinach Idli
Turn on the induction on high flame
Adding oil and let it heat up
Oil is heat up. adding 1 tsp Black Mustard Seeds & 1 tsp cumin Seeds
Let them crackle
They are crackled and releasing its aroma
Further to the process adding chopped green chillies
Adding 1/2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
Adding 1 Chopped Onion and mix it well
Onions are mixed adding grated carrot and mix it well
Now adding boiled and mashed potatoes and spinach paste
Mix it well
As you can see it mixed well and now we'll be adding regular spices
Salt to taste, 1/4 tsp Coriander Powder,
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder, pinch of Red chilli powder as in we have already used green chillies in it
We'll cook it for 2-3 mins and then we'll transfer it to a bowl or plate to let it cool down
See you atfer 2-3 mins.
Our spinach veggie is ready and i have taken it our in a bowl and let it cool down.
Let's start the further processing.
Transferring the spinach veggie to a mixing bowl
Adding Idli batter in it
Mix it well
As you can see, it got mixed very easily
Now we'll fill it in the idli mould
Here we have the idli mould and we'll grease it with little bit of oil
Mould is greased and filling the batter into idli mould
One mould is filled and now we'll fill the second mould
Batter is settled well in the idli mould
Now well put it into microwave for 5 mins.
Within 5 mins it will be ready and them we'll serve it
See you after 5 mins
5 mins has been passed
Idlis are ready in front of you
Let's take them out and as you can see how easily they are coming out
Our spinach idlis are absolutely ready, let's serve them.
So serve spinach idli i have prepared the green chutney in advance..
Making green chutney is very easy. I have shared prior also
Take some coriander leaves and add 2-3 garlic cloves
A small piece of ginger and if you want you can add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Add some water and grind it in the mixer and your green chutney will be ready.
So here we have our green chutney in the plate
Sprinkling some coconut powder
Placing Spinach Idli
Sprinkle some coriander leave over an sides of the idlis
Garnish it with some more coconut powder
Spinach Idli is absolutely ready & you can relish it with either Green chutney or tomato Ketchup.
