we are located in
in the mountain areas of Cyprus
specifically we just passed Kakopetria
and we are heading towards
a medieval bridge
which is called
"Tzelefos Bridge"
In Cypriot dialect it means..
"patient" im i'm not mistaken, i might be mistaken
don't quote me on that, like they say at Andreas' Village
but because i haven't been there in a few months
i forgot the route..i'm a bit shit at this.
so
i give you my word i will try and find it
because it's something you should see
it's a very nice bridge
medieval, stone
and if you're with your girlfriend and stuff
on the bridge and you kiss, supposedly..
..you will have eternal love and bullshit like that
whoever believes in fairy tales..

we are at the village of Kato Amiantos
nice little village, not graphic or anything but ok
it's alright
i spent about 20 mins on maps this morning
to
to see from where i would go and i have no internet
on the phone or 3G so i can't have GPS
i can't keep looking at my phone on the bike, i'm scared
i might do something stupid, i don't really trust myself

Right from Trimiklini
towards Pera Pedi which is the first village we shall pass through
very nice route so far
i should say that i haven't been here before
not with a car or a bike
the last time i went to the bridge, i used another road
from Platres or Kyperounta, don't remember
but not from here
so i don't really know the roads so i'll go slow
so we don't have any bullshit
or if some bullshit happens and we can't run again
that's the worst thing that can happen

you pass PeraPedi and then you go straight and reach
another village called Mandria
from Mandria
right
you towards Agios Nicholaos
and then from Agios Nikolaos, right towards
the road for the bridge
we shall see if it's true or if google is full of shit
because in Cyprus as you know
a lot of things are not like other countries
when it comes to maps
there is no street view or anything
so we are a bit forgotten by civilization, unfortunately
but it is what it is

car is good too if you have a Mazda mx5 or a sports car
maybe a BMW

everyone knows where it is
and everytime i go to the bridge, there's always wedding photography going on
but there is nobody on the way there
that's the strange thing!
don't know why
so i conclude, either everyone goes in the morning
and leave at night, and i don't see them because i go afternoons
or they live next to it!
i cant see any other alternatives
so, we are about
5-6 km from Agios Nikolaos and i'm looking for a sign for the bridge
on the right somewhere

there is a mosque
which doesn't make sense to me

we are not near the occupied side so i don't understand the mosque

at the end of the road
which is a 2 way road, believe it or not

It's not my favorite road
i will show you my favorite road in Cyprus one day, but it's not this
