Once again, I heard many, many stories from people whose lives have been impacted in powerful

ways because of the broadcast, and person after person thanked me.

They live in regions where they don't have a church there.

In fact, in this particular meeting, we have people that came from France, people

that came from Hungary, people that came from Poland.

We had people traveling as much as seven hours to get to the meeting and then

turn around and go home after it was over.

And again, I remember I met three young men, and one of them said, "You know,

I was three years doing a prison sentence due to a drug offense."

He said, "And I found Christ watching your broadcast in prison."

And he was there at the meeting, and I was able to shake his hand and look him in

the eye and it was awesome.

And it just, you know, story after story after story, and, and that's why we do what we do.

It's about people.

About 2 years ago, I had the opportunity to meet Bayless in Duisburg.

It was after the service, and I told him:

"I have faith that I will get well when you pray for me."

And he just said: "Be healed in Jesus' name!"

My doctor recently told me that I'm in remission.

The cancer will not come back. I am healed.

I'm here in Winterthur, Switzerland getting ready for a meeting that's gonna start in

just a little bit.

We're trusting that people are gonna get saved and that the Saints are going to be encouraged.

We're going to have a good time.

On Sundays, I set my alarm, and watch Bayless.

That gives me strength for the week ahead.

Through his teaching, Bayless helped open my eyes,

so I could understand the Good News and the Bible.

The night before last, we were in Neubrandenburg, in the far Northeastern part of Germany.

It was a real blessing being there. The pastors and

a lot of the leaders said that hardly anyone goes up there.

A while ago, I found Bayless on YouTube. In that season of my life,

for about a year, I didn't belong to a church.

I was looking for sermons on YouTube,

and discovered Answers with Bayless Conley.

Over and over he shares thoughts and prayers in his messages

that are really encouraging me.

That's why I like his sermons so much.

We've heard some amazing stories.

People whose lives have been impacted, because of the broadcast.

I remember one guy, in particular, he said, "I saw your broadcast and that was the first

thing that gave me hope in my life."

Last night we were in Hannover.

Had a lot of freedom preaching and then gave the invitation and we had 120 people that came

forward to give their lives to Jesus.

I found the answer that I needed to go on.

Yes, I subscribed to his YouTube channel,

and gained insight from the TV program.

It moved me that so many came forward

to confess their faith.

In every city that we go, throughout Germany and throughout the Netherlands and

throughout Switzerland and several other European countries, we have great fruit. And

it's due to the faithfulness of God and I think it's just the fact that, that we wouldn't

quit and we've had a lot of people hold up our arms and pray with us and walk together

with us and support us. And without that, you know, it just wouldn't be here.

I listen to Bayless Conley's messages every day.

Watching him on TV is great,

and I didn't want to miss this meeting.

I'm delighted, and I'll share about it when I get home.

Very excited about the future.

Very grateful for people that pray for us and support what we do and, friend,

we're reaping the harvest for eternity.

These people matter.

BIG NEWS! YAMAHA Brand eBikes coming! - Duration: 1:52.

Guess what?

Yamaha just came out with a press release, like a few minutes ago with some really exciting

news that...

I'm sure you've probably surmised from the title of the video.

Yes!

It's true, just like Japan; here in the good old US of A, Yamaha is going to come out with

electric bikes of their very own.

No more motor systems only, now they're going to have complete finished electric bikes from

Yamaha.

This year at Interbike Yamaha is going BIG!

They're paying out the nose to advertise at every point of registration, they got this

big press room at the show, and probably some more stuff too.

They've even sent out materials at the dealer level to showcase their heritage in the eBike

world.

Official YAMAHA zip ties!

This is what the fuss is all about; they're making an electric bike brand of their very

own.

They have a website, but there's nothing on it as of yet... (patience is a virtue)

Do they even have anything finished?

When are they going to come out?

Will they have an entire line of electric bikes?

How much are they going to cost?

Why can't I guy one now!?

Is it going to be a direct import of their Japanese electric bikes?

Well I hope not because I gotta go faster than 15mph.

[JI] Hello, today is a more serious video because

I'm sure recently you know there was a hurricane in Texas, Harvey,

and now in Southern Florida they have Irma and other ones as well.

So that means there are a lot of news channels showing

messages, warnings, what to do for evacuation plans.

Recently you might have noticed on Facebook,

it went viral about one man in a yellow shirt

kind of signing, I guess a.k.a interpreting what they were saying.

But actually it was horrible!

It wasn't actual interpreting.

So we kind of wanted to talk about that topic of

fake interpreting problems that we noticed on the news recently.

[JE] So... as a Deaf person, my perspective is that I feel offended.

It's not respectful and...

it just makes me think that

they think Deaf people are not important enough to provide

equal access to the information as a hearing person would have.

That we're lesser. "Oh this is good enough."

"Somebody knows a little bit of sign, great, good enough."

Or "Oh it's last minute, we don't want to go

and actually get an interpreter from an agency that's certified.

No big deal. We'll just stick a random person in there."

But that's not appropriate.

So it just kind of shows how they feel about the Deaf people in their community.

It's not good at all!

The person who did the signing...

I'm not automatically assuming he's a bad person.

I'm not blaming him. We don't know the situation of how he got in there.

Maybe he felt obligated he had to do it and couldn't say no.

I don't know. So that aside, that's not the point.

The point is the governmental office, whoever set up the warning about the evacuation plans,

they are responsible for providing equal accessibility to that information.

They should have gotten an qualified interpreter from an agency or whatever.

Even if they couldn't, at least put captions on there.

Not just stick a random person in. No!

They have to know what is the appropriate way to provide equal accessibility.

[JI] Yeah, as an interpreter, a professional interpreter I was offended too!

It kind of felt like they thought that was a qualified interpreter?

That's good enough for their Deaf citizens?

No, that's ridiculous!

If they say, "oh it's last minute, it's an emergency",

I'm aware of that and yes it's an emergency situation.

An interpreting agency or somebody would be willing to send

anyone at that time, whether it's their coordinator or director

but somebody from the agency who's qualified.

I know many interpreters who would be wiling to volunteer,

at least do whatever they have to because it's important!

So if they say, "oh we couldn't find an interpreter",

I'm sorry but that's crap!

No, it's not fair.

I want to show you, I'll put down the credit of who did this,

an actual transcript of what the woman said

and a transcript of what the interpreter, man, interpreted.

Let me show you right now.

So as you can see, there's HUGE gaps in the information

and the few things he actually signed, some of it doesn't even make sense!

So really it's just unfortunate we noticed this happening multiple times.

[JE] This is not the first time or the last time.

[JI] Right, so like I said,

if you notice that on your news,

try to get a hold of someone at the new station or whatever

and let them know, complain.

Obviously if you're in an emergency situation, take care of yourself

and then later contact them after you are safe

and say "no, that's not acceptable!"

Deaf people have a right to equal accessibility

the same as any hearing person does.

So I just kind of wanted to throw that out there.

Why Marvel's Inhumans Was Such A Flop - Duration: 6:28.

Marvel's ABC TV series Inhumans has made its long-awaited debut, with a modified version

of the first two episodes landing in IMAX theaters across the country.

Unfortunately, the reaction from critics and fans has not been kind.

The theatrical release currently has yet to earn a single positive review on Rotten Tomatoes,

the box office take has been anemic, and fans have been left wondering how a project that

spent such a long time in development is turning out to be Marvel's first massive flop.

There are several factors that brought Inhumans to this point, so let's take a look at where

this project went so wrong.

Red light, green light

Inhumans was first announced in 2014, as part of Marvel Studios' slate of then-upcoming

theatrical releases, and it was intended at that time to be included in Phase Three.

The Inhuman Royal Family was never the most high-profile of Marvel's stable of characters.

But at the time of the announcement, the studio was coming off the surprise smash hit Guardians

of the Galaxy, featuring an ensemble of characters whose profiles had previously been even lower.

There seemed to be no reason for concern — until April 2016, when the project was pulled from

Marvel's schedule.

At first, Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige said the release date was just being

shuffled to make room for a solo Spider-Man movie and a sequel to Ant-Man.

But then the project moved to the small screen with ABC, and things got even weirder.

"We've been hiding here for too long, let's go to our rightful home"

Rumors persisted that the project was in danger of being scrapped altogether, and many fans

were surprised when casting announcements soon began to hit the web — and then disappointed,

once teaser images soon followed.

Terrible teasers

The Inhuman Royal Family consists of some of the most colorful and outlandish characters

in Marvel Comics.

You've got Medusa's swirling, deadly red locks and Gorgon's sci-fi-fantasy aesthetic and

the fish-man Triton.

So, the series' visual design calls for some serious artistic flair.

But when the first teaser images of the cast in costume were released, it quickly became

apparent that we were not going to get that.

Fans immediately voiced their dismay on social media.

Medusa in particular was singled out, as her hair was less of a special effect and more

of a really bad wig.

The bargain-basement feel of the crucial first promotional image didn't do anything to increase

their anticipation of what should've been a visual spectacle.

And the trailers weren't much better.

Despite an appearance by the teleporting dog Lockjaw getting a positive response, pretty

much every other aspect of the trailer was widely criticized.

Medusa again underwhelmed as fans got not even a tease of what her hair could do, and

some even began to wonder if her abilities would make it into the show at all.

The second trailer resolved that issue — but only by employing some of the worst CGI effects

this side of a ten year-old SyFy movie.

"Never."

A preview shown at San Diego Comic-Con also left fans deriding the new footage as "aggressively

awful."

So, instead of hype, the imagery only earned gripes.

Awkward press panel

A few weeks prior to the release of the IMAX presentation, ABC TV held its annual press

event with the Television Critics' Association.

When the cast of Inhumans came out to talk to the assembled journalists, it became quickly

apparent that they may not have been ready to field question after question about the

poor internet reaction to the trailers and the show's perceived lack of quality.

Anson Mount, for example, responded to questions about the poor reception by saying they made

him feel like Ben Affleck during the Batman Vs. Superman tour.

"I agree."

And the rest of the cast members were viewed as evasive, deflective, and somewhat bewildered

by what they were up against.

Marvel TV chief Jeph Loeb even snapped at reporters and shut the event down early.

Of course, the cast may have had a reason to be on edge.

Imperiled production

The plan to divert Inhumans from the silver to small screen meant that producers had just

months to cast, write, and develop an eight-episode miniseries from an already ambitious basis.

Making matters worse, the IMAX premiere of the first two episodes meant that those episodes

would have to be produced on an extremely accelerated schedule.

Those episodes' director, Roel Reine, revealed that although the process was "collaborative,"

he was definitely under the studio's thumb all the while, telling CNET, there was "always

a Marvel executive around me just to make sure that whatever I did, or whatever we did

together, would tie in with other characters in other universes, in other comics, in other

series or movies.

They're very protective."

The rushed nature of the production is apparent in the finished product, and the fact that

some scenes are gorgeously shot in IMAX actually hurts rather than helps.

The IMAX experiment

Critics have pointed out that the scenes that are shot in IMAX look fantastic, but that

they also make it even more apparent which scenes were not.

The interiors and costumes have every bit the low-budget aesthetic suggested by the

trailers, flaws that are only magnified up on that gigantic screen, with the gorgeous

IMAX footage occasionally popping in to make the rest of the film look even worse by comparison.

"We're inhumans"

In the first week of a planned two-week run, Inhumans grossed about $1.5 million, which

is a paltry sum compared to the promotional expenses.

While an investment by IMAX will make Inhumans profitable for Disney no matter what happens,

it's not exactly encouraging for partnerships of this kind in the future.

Critical miss

In the summer of flailing film studios blaming critics for killing their box office returns,

Inhumans is no exception.

Reviewers overwhelmingly railed on what they saw in the series, from the acting to direction

to set design and even special effects.

Some have gone so far as to call it the worst thing Marvel has done.

And after the critical lashing the Marvel TV execs took for Iron Fist, that says a lot.

Perhaps the fact that the studio gave the reins of the show to Iron Fist's showrunner

Scott Buck can be blamed for that double-dose of disses.

After all, Iron Fist also failed to live up to expectations for similar reasons.

Both shows were rushed in conception and execution, poorly written and plotted, and indifferently

staged and photographed.

Whether or not the failure of Inhumans is part of any trend of declining quality among

Marvel TV productions is up for debate, but if Buck is allowed to go to bat for a third

Marvel property, he's going to have two strikes against him already.

so this gentleman came to us what was that about a week and a half ago and at

that time had a little red spot over the white space of his right first and

second digits just a little red he thought he may have had a splinter in

there or something we felt it it felt a little firm and there may have been a

splinter in there but what happened really puffed up or gotten big and so we

decided to just leave it and see where it went and now it comes back today a

couple of weeks later it looks like this which is nice and big and ready to be

opened and when we do this we're not going expecting to get anything out we

just want to make sure that if there's an infection we relieve that pressure

and drain it if we do get out anything that's an added bonus so we'll see

I know there's some numbness because I could feel it already when she was going

to swallow right in the middle right for your food that burn it all keeps spread

out here perfect yeah just like that

yeah a little bit that's they're mostly just clear

doing okay mm-hmm and that's a lot of pressure when we do this we're not

expecting to get anything out we just want to make sure that if there's an

infection we will relieve that pressure and drain it if we do get out anything

yeah you know that greediness at the end of my utensil but again like it'd be

nothing that you say this was probably would so an x-ray would not help us that

would not show what one x-ray

yes ought to see oh we did get out that pocket collection of foods

I'm just trying to there's anything in there freeing up if this

so I'm not gonna pack this and just kind of leave it open and then we'll drain if

I have a little bit of drainage with it and if there's something freed up in

there it may come out what you can do is do warm compresses on it

just kind of increase the blood flow to the area and allow it to drain and has

that drains it will swell and will go down it may be plugging trainers there

may be a little pus in there too but it looks good we don't need any antibiotics

what you want to do is keep an eye on the area if there's redness that's ready

and that's when you'll want to use call it some antibiotics but for now what

they're that dark spot was there's nothing obvious right there oh no what

right over that area all righty okay

so I won't accomplish it so I'm going to squeeze a little bit more here

Today September 14th is R U OK? Day. a day created to help prevent Suicide.

The R U OK? vision is a world where we are all connected and are protected from suicide

Have you ever in your life noticed someone isn't quiet acting normal?

Maybe they are withdrawn, agitated or just out of sorts

well today the day!

1. Start by asking R U OK?

2. Listen to their reply take what they say seriously and don't interrupt

or rush them Don't judge their experiences or reactions

if they need time to think, wait for them to come back to you

encourage them to explain their feelings

3. Encourage them to action ask if they have had similar problems in the past

ask how they would like you to support them

if you have been through a similar issue tell them how you fixed it

after two weeks if the person is still feeling down, suggest they should see a health care professional

4. Check in with them Pop a reminder in your diary/phone to follow

up with them, if you think they are really struggling follow up sooner
