THESE BIBLE PAGES WERE FOUND FUSED TO A PIECE OF STEEL FROM 9/11 GROUND ZERO

September 11, 2001, is one of those days in history that forever changed the world in

which we live in.

For the United States, it was one of the biggest attacks to ever occur on America soil.

The coming down of the twin towers of the World Trade Center was something that sent

shock waves through the masses, as the two once large towering structures laid in a large

heap of rubble.

The tragedy was tremendous, and over three thousand innocent individuals lost their lives

on this one day.

But as the dust settled around the area that was now known as ground zero, symbols of hope

and perhaps forgiveness was found among the rubble.

BIBLE FOUND IN GROUND ZERO RUBBLE

The American flag that once stood high on a pole was now leaning but still standing,

not knocked down, a symbol that the flag still stood strong and so would the nation.

For those who are of spiritual belief, there were signs that God hadn't abandoned us.

Two large cross beams were now forming a distinctive cross near the still standing American flag.

These two symbols of hope and recovery were found early, but another symbol would also

be found as the rubble began to be cleared away.

Fund among the rubble was a bible that had been somewhat burned and melted, but this

wasn't the most unusual part of the discovery, it was the page that the now milted bibles

were turned to and now remains on.

There clear as day was a verse from Revelation which was taken from Christ sermon on the

mount that read: �Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth

for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on

thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.� To believers, this was a clear message that

despite what had happened we have to find it in our hearts to forgive our enemies if

only to help ourselves to heal.

The firefighter who recovered the bible in 2003 turned it over to those preserving those

things of historical significance documenting September 11th.

The melted remains of the Bible found on that fateful day is now part of Ground Zero Museum

that is now opened on the spot where the twin towers used to be, and the new FreedomTower

now stands along as a memorial to those who lost their lives that day.

As for this being a message or not, ponder this.

There are many verses of the bible and several in the book of Revelation alone.

But this the verse that was recovered.

But even if forgiveness is possible, no one will ever forget what happened on 9/11 and

no one ever should not even future generations.

How to make the best-ever strawberry banana bread - Duration: 2:51.

Today I'm going to make one of my favourite spring recipes,

strawberry banana bread.

This recipe is from our September issue from last year

and it was such a hit with everybody.

Lots of people made it and shared their pics

with #colesmag on Instagram.

First is the flour.

One cup of brown sugar.

And a teaspoon of baking powder.

For the wet mixture, I'm starting with

two overripe bananas which have been mashed.

Adding the melted butter.

And half a cup of buttermilk.

And now add the wet mixture to the dry mixture.

Now for the star ingredient - strawberries.

I've got one cup of chopped strawberries here.

Bake for one hour at 180 degrees.

Now for the strawberry butter cream.

This is my favourite part.

I'm adding 75g of finely chopped strawberries

and a tablespoon of caster sugar.

Cook this for five minutes or until the sugar is dissolved

and the strawberries have broken down.

Then cook for another two minutes so it thickens slightly

and set aside to cool.

Beat until very pale.

Gradually add icing sugar a little bit at a time

and beat well between each addition.

And now we're adding the strawberry syrup.

Now that the banana bread has cooled,

I'm going to start spreading the icing on.

Use a palette knife to spread the icing

because it gives a nice, smooth finish.

And now for the final touch - more fresh strawberries.

And here it is,

President Donald Trump vs. NFL | What's Trending Now! - Duration: 4:40.

This weekend Donald Trump made an enemy out of the NFL when he had this to say about 49ers

quarterback Colin Kaepernick, kneeling during the national anthem to protest the killing

of innocent black people by the police back in August 2016.

Reality check -- the reality TV portion of your life is over, Donald.

The comments, as you can image, received a lot of attention and criticism -- especially

this part of it.

When Trump spoke about white supremacists he said there were some "very fine people."

Got it. But, an athlete protesting the killing of unarmed black man is a "son of a b*tch?"

"Trump referred to any NFL player who protests racism and police violence as a 'son of a

b*tch' who should be fired."

To which Teresa Kaepernick, Colin Kapernick's mother, responded on Twitter, "Guess that

makes me a proud b*tch."

Oh snap!

Trump's weird war of sports team escalated when Golden State Warriors basketball player

Steph Curry announced that he did not want to go to

the White House.

Trump responded to this about twenty minutes after the segment aired on Fox and Friends

saying, "Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team. [Steph]

Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn."

So he disinvited somebody from the White House who had already turned him down. Okay. This

is really starting to sound like high school right now. How depressing is that?

Then, Lebron James joined the Twitter battle adding, "U bum @StephenCurry30 already said

he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until

you showed up!"

The tweet currently has 653 [thousand] retweets and a million and a half likes!

As Trump continued to speak out against people in sports kneeling during the national anthem,

all eyes were on football teams to see what Sunday night football teams would do during

the national anthem.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell released a statement in support of players expressing

their political opinions during the national anthem saying, "Divisive comments like these

demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our

players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent

in our communities."

This was followed by many teams releasing their own statements in support of players

expressing their political views -- from the Arizona Cardinals to the Baltimore Ravens

and the Atlanta Falcons.

Michael Thomas of the Miami Dolphins released this powerful statement:

Even Michael Jordan -- legendary basketball player and owner of the Hornets -- released

this statement. "One of the fundamental rights this country is founded on was freedom of

speech, and we have a long tradition of nonviolent, peaceful protest. Those who exercise the right

to peacefully express themselves should not be demonized or ostracized."

And on Sunday, some teams did in fact kneel and others locked arms in solidarity for those

who kneeled. And some, such as the Seattle Seahawks and the Tennessee Titans, stayed

in their locker room during the national anthem.

And Trump continued to attack the NFL over Twitter, so it's clear that if it's a fight

he wants, this war against the NFL is going to be a tough one. As director Ava DuVernay

points out on Twitter, "He's not declaring war on NFL and NBA. Owners are his donors.

He's declaring [war] against black people with opinions."

Many, however, are saying that kneeling during the national anthem shows a disrespect for

our flag, our country and our troops, and those who support Donald Trump, are burning

NFL jerseys in protest.

Although as Twitter user @Koopa_kinte points out -- the founding fathers never said kneeling

during the national anthem was a sign of disrespect, but carrying the flag horizontally, wearing

it as clothes and using it as advertising is -- something that's done in America regularly

without anyone saying anything about it.

And another Twitter user says, "Think NFL players is 'protesting the flag,' is like

thinking Rosa Parks was protesting public transportation."

The protest has now even spread to Major League Baseball. Oakland A's catcher Bruce Maxwell

became the first professional baseball player to take a knee during the national anthem

over the weekend. He has also released a statement saying, "The point of my kneeling is not to

disrespect our military... I'm kneeling for the people that don't have a voice. This goes

beyond the black community. This goes beyond the Hispanic community. Because right now

we're having a racial divide in all types of people."

"This now has gone from just a Black Lives Matter topic to just complete inequality of

any man or woman that wants to stand for their rights!"

So, what side are you on? Should Trump be challenging players and the NFL, or is this

Releasing Limited Beliefs

As we raise our vibrations and congeal with a higher dimension, our brains will need reprogramming.

Our vibrations need to resonate with the dimension we are flowing in.

Limiting beliefs lodged in our cellular memory need to be uprooted.

Literally, we need to roto rooter our cells.

Our life experiences have given us so much negative material.

Now, there has been some positive influence, we will let that be.

The negative influences have the ability to halt your ascension process and overall success.

As we go higher, we have to think differently than we did before.

Be aware that in this process many old things will come up, they have to.

This part of the ascension process cannot be avoided.

We need these things to come up so that we can release them in love.

�Yes,� I said, �release them in love.�

Why you may ask?

Let�s explore the purpose of limiting beliefs.

They are to limit you from moving in a certain direction.

For example, a trauma experienced as a child could present a limiting belief of fear or

powerlessness.

You create the limits to avoid the trauma happening to you again.

It is almost like a defense mechanism to keep you safe.

So for a period, they may actually have kept you safe, so you thought.

The longer a limiting belief stays in place, the less beneficial it becomes.

As we move higher in vibration, you will find that it no longer serves you.

It�s okay to release it.

The limiting belief has done its job.

Once you release it, you create space for more beneficial beliefs.

Here are a few steps to release limiting beliefs:

1.

Name the limiting belief

Naming the limiting belief whether it be powerlessness or fear will help you to become specific about

what you are releasing.

2.

Create an Affirmation of Release

Example: I RELEASE FEAR AND EMBRACE COURAGE & FAITH

3.

Meditate Daily

In your times of meditation, repeat the affirmation until it becomes so much a part of you, that

the subconscious repeats it for you.

As you meditate on what you really are, the identity of the limiting belief falls off.

You can repeat this process for each limiting belief or place them all in one category.

It doesn�t matter how you choose to release them, just release them and expand.

You will certainly thank grateful that you did.

Pastor V Presentation - Duration: 3:44.

Okay, so you wouldn't believe the number of people who all came up to me and the rest

of the vestry at the end of the summer and said, "What are we going to do to honor Pastor V?"

and that's just... he may have only served for three months, but he has become a treasure

for our congregation, and we really feel that way, and so we did this note-writing exercise

where everybody wrote a thank you or appreciation, and you can see how heavy it is, how much

everybody really appreciates you.

And that's just full of our thanks.

The other thing is, your wife Lynne did not come today, did she?

She was not.

Okay, well we didn't want to leave her out, because being a pastor's wife can be a thankless

job, so we got these, you can bring them for her.

I'll see that she gets them.

Okay.

We wanted to tell her that we appreciated her for letting us "borrow" you during your retirement.

Finally we have, not finally, one more, but we have a little keepsake for you, if you'd

like to open it now you may do so, just for you to remember your three months serving us

as our interim... our supply priest.

I didn't want it to break, so I left it in the Styrofoam.

It was in there very well.

It says, "Pastor V, words cannot express how much you have been a

blessing to our church this summer.

Thank you for everything you have done for us.

With love, from the people of St. Jude's Episcopal Church."

And there's a definition of a Lutherpalian on the back.

And finally, as we all know, St. Jude's is a very generous congregation, and when we

asked everyone to help honor Pastor V by making contributions to the cancer hospital in India

which he has supported for many years, everybody really stepped up and came through,

and I think that is a testament to how much we love and appreciate Pastor V and everything you've

done for us this summer.

So, I am pleased to announce that from our hearts, in honor of Pastor Handlee Vige, the

congregation of St. Jude's Episcopal Church will be giving a donation to the India mission

in the amount of $2,443.

Wow!

That is truly, truly humbling.

I have said to Father Hein any number of times that this is a wonderful parish, and it truly is.

You have such a generous and giving heart and you have been so welcoming and embracing of

Lynne and me and thank you so much.

This will do a lot of good, I'll talk with you about how to forward that to St. Timothy

Lutheran Church to see that that accomplishes its purposes.
