DCS: F-5 Tiger II - CBU-52 Cluster - #17 Tutorial - English Subtitles - Duration: 13:05.

Hi and welcome again to Revientor Reborn, this is DCS and we are in F-5E

this is a Cammo of iran, green, and you can see I am going to talk about the CBU53B cluster bomb

it´s difficult to use in DCS at least with the F5

looking the real manual, and the numbers do not match, in this case you can not follow the real charts

because in DCS F-5 you can not set the "open" altitude, when the cluster bomblet are released

if you can not set that value you can not follow that tables

here you have some pictures , you can see in the header the altitude, and the typical values, but in DCS this do not work in that way

in DCS the way to works is, when 4 second happened after the release, the bomblets go out

at the end of the tutorial, I will give to you a table of values , to be able to search other values to release the bombs

now I am show to you two ways to strike, the typical one of the other videos, and the one at the beginning of this video

I like more the second one because works too way much better

in a dive of 30º there is no much dispersion, we´ll try always to use the max coverage, take into account when this bomb it´s open drop bomblets that cover an area

that bomblets as long as they are in the air, the cover is bigger and bigger, but that is not well modeled in DCS and have a max coverage value

if the bomblets are close the only hit small area, IDL if they are very dispersed the cover too much area but causes insignificant damage

they have to fall far but close enough lol, in DCS looks like over 3500 is good to that max coverage

let´s set up the plane and perform the strike

I am only going to drop one bomb, the center one

do not forget to arm the bomb, because it´s just a bomb I will not use ripple

in a Hi dive, the ripple is not really a good option, will cover a few meters more but not too much

looking the real manual, higher the speed and close to 0 dive, higher the coverage , with more dive speed increase the coverage, less speed decrease, but the dive itself decrease the coverage

the one at the start of this video it´s the cool one

the the visor to 160, with a 30º of five, from 8000 feet over 450-500 knots

target on the left, weapons ready, speed good, altitude good, now we can start the turning,

here some advice that I did not mention in other videos, in this turn, first aim with the top of the visor (HUD), then roll to level wings and then look the perfect aim

my target is in the middle of the cross

idle, remember 500 knots , 30 dive it´s easy to see only look for the 3 number there is no more

do not use pedals, I have to aim more to the right, in this case 30dive, because the bomb wait 4 second to open

at this speed with this dive will fly around 2000 feet vertical until open the bomb

I need to calculate the drop to get the bombs deploying bomblets around 4000 feet

I have to drop it over 6000 feet, but remember 4000 is not the magic number, it will be good around 3000 too

6000 feet, boms away,

that are the bomblets, look the pattern, as you can see the cover an area, and we miss the target no problem

this is the ACMI recording of the video of low altitude strike, in this way I will be focused on speak and not to do 2 things at same time

man, 140 in the visor, 1500 over the target is the final altitude, with an airspeed around 500 knots

let´me turn of the track ir

500, almost 1500 feet and the target is near the end of the runway

I will use the tracir now....

bombs away, and now look

some flares there, my target is this.. and look how make a sweep in almost 1/4 of the runway

5 bombs with the max distance between them,

as brief, perform a strike leveled is better to cover more area, but this 0.14 separation is not the best one, will be better have the arm station buttons

assigned to the keyboard and manually turn one of them on, drop the bomb, then the other one, drop the bomb, and so on

this plane is not designed for this bombs, lol xD

now the cool part of the video, the data to make your own test and the way that I took this data

first, remember, the first strike, 8000 feet 450-500 knots , and drop the bomb at 5000 feet with a dive of 30 using the reticle at 160 milrad

that was the first strike, now practice,

the level strike parameters, 1500 feet, 500 knots, 0 dive (but around -500//-1000 feet/min) 140 milrad

some important parameters and how find them, I did some test, how much altitude the bomb lose in that 4 seconds,

(follow the cursor to know where to find the data) in this case I drop a bomb, at 8000 feet, with 60 dive

500 knots , in this case it will lose 3000 feet , if you fly faster the bomb will lose more altitude

with dive 20 will lose, 1500 feet, when flying at 550 knots, the second event is where the bomblets come out

this 20 dive at 2300 feet, 440 knots, 1200 feel will lose the bomb

the 30 dive, in this other ACMI, speed 533 knots, 1900 feet will lose the bomb

as you can see the faster the plane the longer the altitude lost

in vertical strike, drop only 1 bomb and when using level strike, use all bombs

I enjoyed this tutorial a lot, the investigation thing was very interesting, I spend almost all the afternoon doing this

subscribe gimme a like and see you in the next tutorial

Colossians Bible Study - Part 1 - Enjoying Everyday Life - Duration: 28:33.

ANNOUNCER: THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM IS PAID FOR

BY THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

JOYCE: YOU'RE MORE THAN WHAT YOU LOOK AT IN THE MIRROR.

YOU'RE MORE THAN HOW YOU FEEL.

YOU'RE MORE THAN WHAT PEOPLE SAY.

YOU ARE WHAT GOD SAYS THAT YOU ARE.

BUT IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT, IT'S NEVER GOING TO MANIFEST

IN YOUR LIFE.

CC BY ABERDEEN CAPTIONING 1-800-688-6621 ABERCAP.COM

JOYCE: IN COLOSSIANS IN CHAPTER 1,

THERE ARE 12 DIFFERENT LESSONS JUST IN CHAPTER 1.

NOW, OBVIOUSLY I DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO GET IN DEPTH

INTO EACH ONE OF THESE, BUT I BELIEVE BY THE TIME YOU

LEAVE HERE TODAY THAT EVERY PERSON IS GOING TO GET

SOMETHING, AND MAYBE THREE, OR FOUR, OR FIVE SOMETHINGS,

THAT ARE GOING TO CONVICT YOU AND HELP YOU TO REALLY LIVE

THE LIFE THAT JESUS DIED FOR US TO LIVE.

NOW, I'M ALL ABOUT PEOPLE BEING SAVED, LOVE EVANGELISM, LOVE

TO SEE PEOPLE RECEIVE CHRIST.

THAT HAS TO BE PART OF EVERYBODY'S MINISTRY,

BUT TO BE HONEST, THE REAL CALL ON MY LIFE IS

AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN TO HELP PEOPLE, ONCE THEY'RE SAVED,

GROW AND MATURE SO THEY CAN HAVE THE LIFE THAT JESUS DIED

TO GIVE THEM.

HE DIDN'T DIE JUST SO WE COULD GET SAVED AND SOMEDAY GO

TO HEAVEN, AND SPEND 50 YEARS HERE MISERABLE.

THE THIEF COMES ONLY TO STEAL, TO KILL, TO DESTROY.

BUT JESUS SAID, "I CAME THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE,

AND HAVE IT IN ABUNDANCE, TO THE FULL UNTIL IT OVERFLOWS."

AMEN?

AND I'M NOT TALKING ENJOYING LIFE WHEN IT'S TIME

FOR A VACATION OR WHEN YOU GET TO GO SHOPPING.

I'M TALKING ABOUT I BELIEVE THAT GOD OFFERS US AN ABILITY

TO ENJOY EVERYDAY, ORDINARY, PLAIN OLD LIFE.

YOU KNOW, IF THE ONLY TIME WE CAN ENJOY OURSELF IS WHEN

SOMETHING EXCITING IS GOING ON, THEN WE'RE GOING TO MISS

A LOT OF JOY IN LIFE.

SO, HOW MANY OF YOU ARE READY TO JUST DIG A LITTLE BIT DEEPER

AND REALLY LEARN MORE?

ALL RIGHT.

I'M ONLY GOING TO READ THE FIRST MAYBE FIVE OR SIX VERSES

OF COLOSSIANS CHAPTER 1 JUST TO KIND OF GIVE YOU

A LITTLE BIT OF WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT HERE, AND THEN WE'RE

GOING TO BEGIN TO GET INTO THE STUDY OF IT AND LOOK

AT SOME OF THE OTHER VERSES.

COLOSSIANS 1, VERSE 1, "PAUL, AN APOSTLE OF CHRIST JESUS

[THE MESSIAH], BY THE WILL OF GOD."

SO, BOY, WE SHOULD UNDERLINE "BY THE WILL OF GOD" BECAUSE IF

WE'RE NOT DOING WHAT WE'RE DOING BECAUSE WE REALLY BELIEVE

IT'S GOD'S WILL FOR US TO DO IT,

HOW CAN WE EVER DO IT WELL OR HOW CAN WE ENJOY IT?

YOU SAY, "WELL, HOW CAN I KNOW IF I'M IN THE WILL OF GOD?"

WELL, TO BE HONEST, IT'S NOT ALL THAT HARD.

I MEAN, GOD IS NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO DO

THAT'S GOING TO MAKE YOU MISERABLE ALL THE TIME.

I BELIEVE THAT IF WE'RE IN THE WILL OF GOD,

WHATEVER WE'RE DOING, NUMBER ONE, WE'RE GOING TO BE

PRETTY GOOD AT IT.

I DON'T THINK THAT WE SHOULD HAVE TO SPEND OUR LIFE

FEELING LIKE WE'RE TRYING TO PUT A ROUND PEG IN A SQUARE HOLE

ALL THE TIME.

YOU KNOW, I'M VERY COMFORTABLE DOING WHAT I'M DOING.

I'VE HAD TO LEARN THINGS ABOUT, YOU KNOW, NOT GETTING UP HERE

AND TRYING TO IMPRESS PEOPLE, AND SO ON AND SO FORTH.

ALTHOUGH I WORK HARD, WHAT I'M DOING IS NOT HARD

FOR ME TO DO BECAUSE I'M IN THE WILL OF GOD DOING IT.

NOW, IF YOU'RE REALLY DESIGNED TO BE A STAY-AT-HOME MOM

AND THAT'S WHERE GOD WANTS YOU, AND YOU'RE OFF TRYING TO DO

SOMETHING ELSE BECAUSE YOU THINK THAT THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

TO BE A MODERN WOMAN, YOU'RE GOING TO BE MISERABLE.

WE ALL HAVE TO GET AROUND TO SAYING, "I WANT TO DO

WHAT GOD WANTS ME TO DO.

I'M NOT GOING TO COMPARE MYSELF WITH ANYBODY ELSE.

I'M NOT GOING TO COMPETE WITH ANYBODY ELSE.

I JUST WANT TO BE IN MY PLACE, DOING WHAT GOD WANTS ME TO DO."

ONE OF THE BIGGEST QUESTIONS THAT PEOPLE HAVE IS, HOW CAN I

KNOW THE WILL OF GOD?

WELL, IT'S VERY SIMPLE.

YOU STEP OUT AND START TRYING STUFF UNTIL YOU FIND WHAT'S

COMFORTABLE FOR YOU.

AND BY COMFORTABLE, I DON'T NECESSARILY MEAN EASY.

LIKE I SAID, I WORK HARD, BUT THIS IS MY SPOT.

THIS IS WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO BE DOING.

AND WHEN I FIRST FELT THE CALL OF GOD ON MY LIFE, I WANTED

TO SERVE GOD, I WANTED TO BE USED BY GOD, AND I'M PRETTY

AGGRESSIVE AND BOLD, SO I JUST TRIED A BUNCH OF STUFF.

AND IT DIDN'T TAKE ME LONG TO FIGURE OUT

WHAT I WASN'T GOOD AT AND WHAT WASN'T GOING TO WORK.

BUT BOY, WHEN I STARTED TEACHING, I FOUND MY SPOT.

I TRIED FOR A LITTLE WHILE TO WORK IN THE NURSERY.

WELL, IT ONLY TOOK A WEEK OR TWO FOR ME AND THE KIDS TO KNOW

THAT THAT WASN'T THE SPOT FOR ME.

I TRIED STREET EVANGELISM, AND I HATED IT.

I MEAN, NOW I AM BOLD AND I CAN

STAND--I HONESTLY COULD STAND UP HERE IN FRONT

OF 25 MILLION PEOPLE AND IT WOULDN'T BOTHER ME ONE IOTA.

BUT I DON'T WANT TO CHASE SOMEBODY DOWN ON THE STREET

THAT I DON'T KNOW, BACK THEM IN A CORNER, AND TRY

TO TELL THEM ABOUT JESUS.

THAT'S JUST NOT ME.

NOW, THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT ARE VERY GOOD AT THAT.

YOU SEE, WE HAVE TO BE CAREFUL THAT WE DON'T LOOK AT WHAT

SOMEBODY ELSE IS DOING AND THINK THAT'S WHAT WE SHOULD DO,

OR THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH US IF WE'RE NOT DOING THAT.

SO, NUMBER ONE LESSON, COLOSSIANS 1, VERSE 1, BE SURE

THAT WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY,

YOU BELIEVE THAT IT'S GOD'S WILL FOR YOU AT THAT TIME

IN YOUR LIFE.

AND SOMETIMES THINGS DO CHANGE, LIKE WE JUST STARTED

A NEW CONFERENCE SCHEDULE.

WELL, WE BELIEVE THAT THIS SCHEDULE IS GOD'S WILL

FOR THIS MINISTRY FOR THIS TIME IN OUR LIFE.

THERE WERE OTHER TIMES WHEN WE DID FIVE SESSIONS EVERY WEEKEND.

AND THEN WE--LONG TIME WE DID FOUR SESSIONS EVERY WEEKEND.

WELL, NOW WE BELIEVE THIS IS RIGHT, AND IT'S PROVEN OUT

JUST BY EVEN THE WAY PEOPLE ARE RESPONDING.

BUT YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO TAKE A CHANCE.

WHEN YOU TAKE A STEP OF FAITH, YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO BE WILLING

TO BE WRONG TO FIND OUT IF YOU'RE RIGHT.

COME ON, LET'S SAY THAT AGAIN.

WHEN YOU TAKE A STEP OF FAITH, YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO TAKE A CHANCE

ON BEING WRONG TO FIND OUT IF YOU'RE RIGHT.

AND, YOU KNOW, TO BE HONEST, WE JUST GET TOO BOTHERED

BY THE THOUGHTS OF BEING WRONG.

YOU KNOW, IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL, JUST SAY, "WELL, I THOUGHT

THAT WAS WHAT GOD WANTED.

I STEPPED OUT, I TRIED IT, IT'S NOT RIGHT.

I CAN CHECK THAT OFF MY LIST AND GO ON TO THE NEXT THING."

COME ON, EVERYBODY SAY, "I WANT TO BE IN THE WILL OF GOD."

VERSE 2, "TO THE SAINTS (THE CONSECRATED PEOPLE

OF GOD]"

NOW, IN JUST A FEW MINUTES, WE'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE CONSECRATED.

SEE, THESE ARE WORDS WE READ PAST THEM, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

WE DON'T KNOW.

WE GO ON, SO WE NEVER GET THE LESSON OUT OF IT THAT WE

SHOULD GET OUT OF IT.

VERSE 3, "WE CONTINUALLY GIVE THANKS."

HOW MANY STARTED THIS MORNING BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE

JUST TELLING GOD SEVERAL THINGS YOU WERE THANKFUL FOR, OKAY?

WELL, SEE, THAT--YOU KNOW, WE DON'T NEED TO GET UP AND START

TELLING GOD EVERYTHING WE'VE GOT TO HAVE TO BE HAPPY THAT DAY.

WE NEED TO GET UP AND FIND, AND I MEAN PURPOSELY FIND

SEVERAL THINGS.

I THANKED GOD THIS MORNING THAT I COULD WALK, TALK, SEE,

AND HEAR.

'CAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT?

THERE'S A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT COULDN'T DO THAT.

I THANKED GOD THIS MORNING THAT I HAD SOMETHING FRUITFUL

TO COME OVER HERE AND DO.

I WAS A LITTLE TIRED WHEN I GOT UP, BUT I SAID,

"WE'LL KICK IT IN GEAR, AND WE'LL GET OVER THERE

AND MAKE SOME PEOPLE HAPPY, AND SERVE YOU,

AND BE IN YOUR WILL.

AND THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY."

I THANK GOD FOR FAMILY.

I THANK GOD A LOT OF MORNINGS FOR WATER.

THERE'S A LOT OF PEOPLE IN THE WORLD THAT DON'T HAVE IT.

SO, WE NEED TO BE THANKFUL PEOPLE.

AND THEN, IN VERSE 4, AND I LOVE

THIS, HE SAYS, "[FOR WE HAVE HEARD OF YOUR FAITH,"

THEY WERE FAMOUS FOR THEIR FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS, "THE LEANING

OF YOUR ENTIRE HUMAN PERSONALITY ON GOD IN ABSOLUTE TRUST

AND CONFIDENCE IN HIS POWER, HIS WISDOM, AND HIS GOODNESS].

AND WE'VE HEARD OF YOUR LOVE [THE LOVE THAT YOU SHOW

FOR ALL THE SAINTS]."

I THOUGHT, "OH MY, MY, MY, I WISH THE CHURCH WAS FAMOUS TODAY

FOR ITS FAITH AND ITS LOVE."

PAUL HAD NEVER MET THESE PEOPLE.

HE'D NEVER SEEN THEM.

HE WAS WRITING THEM A LETTER.

HE CARED ABOUT THEM, BUT HE'D NEVER MET THEM.

BUT HE HAD HEARD ABOUT THEIR FAITH AND HE'D HEARD

ABOUT THEIR LOVE, AND THEN THE NEXT THING HE TALKS ABOUT

IS THE HOPE THAT THEY HAD.

I WROTE A WHOLE BOOK ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO ON HOPE.

GET YOUR HOPES UP.

YOU KNOW WHAT?

A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO HAVE FAITH, THEY DON'T HAVE

ANY HOPE.

IN VERSE 5, HE SAID, "BECAUSE OF THE HOPE OF EXPERIENCING

WHAT IS LAID UP FOR YOU."

THAT'S WHY HE SAID THEY HAD THIS FAITH AND LOVE,

BECAUSE THEY HAD HOPE.

YOU KNOW WHAT HOPE IS?

IT'S JUST AN EXPECTATION THAT SOMETHING GOOD IS ABOUT

TO HAPPEN TO YOU AT ANY MINUTE.

AND THERE ARE PEOPLE EVEN HERE IN THE ROOM AND PROBABLY

WATCHING BY TV, YOU THINK, "WELL, I'VE GOT MY FAITH OUT.

I'M BELIEVING GOD FOR SOMETHING."

BUT IF YOU GOT A NEGATIVE ATTITUDE AND YOU DON'T REALLY

BELIEVE THAT ANYTHING GOOD'S GOING TO HAPPEN, THEN YOU

CAN'T HAVE FAITH BECAUSE HOPE IS THE FOUNDATION THAT FAITH

STANDS ON.

AND I'LL TELL YOU SOMETHING, THE OTHER DAY WE WERE MEETING

WITH OUR PUBLISHER, AND I HAD HIM GET OUT ALL THE BOOKS

THAT I HAD WRITTEN, WHICH THERE'S

ABOUT 116 OF THEM NOW.

AND I JUST GOT--IT TOUCHED MY HEART.

I SAW THIS ONE LITTLE BOOK, IT'S CALLED A MINI-BOOK, THOSE WERE

REAL POPULAR BACK WHEN I FIRST STARTED WRITING.

AND THE TITLE OF IT WAS "THE ANSWER TO EVERY PROBLEM."

AND, OF COURSE, I JUST LOOKED SO MUCH DIFFERENT BACK--IT WAS

JUST A LITTLE, TINY BOOK.

AND ACTUALLY, THE ARTWORK ON IT WAS CLIPART, IT WAS THE STUFF

WHERE YOU USED TO--BEFORE YOU HAD ALL THE FANCY COMPUTER STUFF

WHERE YOU WOULD JUST CUT STUFF OUT AND, YOU KNOW, PASTE IT

AND DO THIS STUFF WITH IT.

AND IT WAS SO CHILDISH LOOKING, BUT

"THE ANSWER TO EVERY PROBLEM," AND I WROTE IT BACK LIKE

THOSE 25 YEARS AGO, IS HOPE.

YOU KNOW WHAT?

IF YOU DON'T LET THE DEVIL KILL YOUR HOPE, THEN HE DON'T KNOW

WHAT TO DO WITH YOU.

BECAUSE IF NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU, YOU KEEP SAYING,

"SOMETHING GOOD IS GOING TO HAPPEN," MAYBE IT DIDN'T

HAPPEN YESTERDAY, AND MAYBE IT DIDN'T HAPPEN TODAY,

BUT IT MAY HAPPEN IN 5 MINUTES.

IF IT DOESN'T HAPPEN TONIGHT, IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TOMORROW.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND THESE ARE THINGS, EVERY ONE OF THESE THINGS

THAT I HAVE SAID SO FAR,

BEING IN THE WILL OF GOD, KNOWING WHAT IT MEANS TO BE

CONSECRATED TO GOD, FOCUSING ON FAITH, LIVING FROM FAITH

TO FAITH, AND ALWAYS BELIEVING IN AND TRUSTING IN GOD

NO MATTER WHAT.

AND HOPE, DON'T LET THE DEVIL STEAL YOUR HOPE.

I MEAN, JUST IF YOU WOULD TAKE THOSE THINGS THAT I HAVE

MENTIONED TODAY, AND YOU WOULD GO HOME AND MEDITATE ON THEM

AND FOCUS ON THEM OVER AND OVER AND OVER, YOU WOULD GET

SOMETHING THAT COULD BE LIFE-CHANGING FOR YOU.

AND THEN HE GOES ON AND THERE--I MEAN, THERE'S JUST--I'LL TELL

YOU THE 12 THINGS THAT ARE IN CHAPTER 1.

CONSECRATION, THANKSGIVING, FAITH, LOVE, BEING

IN THE WILL OF GOD.

PAUL'S APOSTOLIC PRAYER, WHICH IS PHENOMENAL.

WHAT IS OURS IN CHRIST, EVERYBODY SAY, "IN CHRIST."

IF THERE'S ANYTHING THAT WE NEED TO FOCUS ON AND LEARN,

IT'S WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST.

IN CHRIST, IN CHRIST, IN CHRIST.

AND THERE'S TEACHING IN CHAPTER 1

AND IN CHAPTER 2 ABOUT THAT.

AND THIS AFTERNOON IN PARTICULAR,

I'M GOING TO FOCUS A LOT ON KNOWING WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST.

PEOPLE DON'T KNOW WHO THEY ARE.

YOU'RE MORE THAN WHAT YOU LOOK AT IN THE MIRROR.

YOU'RE MORE THAN HOW YOU FEEL.

YOU'RE MORE THAN WHAT PEOPLE SAY.

YOU ARE WHAT GOD SAYS THAT YOU ARE.

BUT IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT, IT'S NEVER GOING TO MANIFEST

IN YOUR LIFE.

"I DON'T FEEL LIKE ANYBODY LOVES ME."

WELL, WE'VE GOT TO STOP LIVING BY HOW WE FEEL.

WE'LL TALK ABOUT THAT A LITTLE BIT TODAY TOO

IF YOU'D LIKE TO.

MATTER OF FACT, I CAN TALK ABOUT ANYTHING YOU WANT,

JUST THROW A FEW SUBJECTS OUT.

IN CHAPTER 1, IT TALKS ABOUT KEEPING JESUS FIRST.

THAT JESUS RESTORES EVERYTHING THE DEVIL HAS TAKEN FROM US,

EVERYTHING.

THAT WE ARE TO REJOICE IN OUR SUFFERINGS.

SEE, YOU DIDN'T GET EXCITED ABOUT THAT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YOU LIKE THAT HE'S GOING TO GIVE YOU BACK

EVERYTHING THE DEVIL TOOK.

CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY, OH MY GOSH.

THE MYSTERY OF THE AGES.

COLOSSIANS 1:27, "CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY."

SPIRITUAL MATURITY AND BEING WILLING TO HELP OTHERS.

A LITTLE BACKGROUND ABOUT THE CHURCH AT COLOSSAE.

THE THEME OF THIS LETTER TO THE COLOSSIANS IS

THE HEADSHIP OF CHRIST.

HE'S THE HEAD, WE'RE THE BODY.

AS LONG AS THE BODY IS TAKING DIRECTION FROM THE HEAD,

WE'RE GOING TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE.

BUT WHEN THE BODY STARTS TRYING TO RUN EVERYTHING,

THAT'S WHEN WE GET IN TROUBLE.

THE HEADSHIP OF CHRIST AND THE BELIEVER'S

RESPONSIBILITY, RESPONSIBILITY TO MANIFEST

THE RESURRECTION LIFE THAT JESUS IS OFFERING US.

A RESURRECTION LIFE.

PAUL TALKED ABOUT IT IN PHILIPPIANS, "THAT I MIGHT

KNOW HIM AND THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION THAT LIFTS

ME OUT FROM AMONG THE DEAD, EVEN WHILE I'M IN THE BODY."

THAT MEANS YOU CAN BE RIGHT HERE IN THE BODY, GOING TO WORK,

GOING HOME, DOING THE DISHES, CUTTING THE GRASS, FIGHTING

WITH THE KIDS, ALL THE STUFF THAT EVERYBODY ELSE

GOES THROUGH.

CHRISTIANITY DOES NOT OFFER US A PERFECT LIFE WHERE THERE'S

NO PROBLEMS, BUT IT OFFERS US A RESURRECTION LIFE.

IT OFFERS US A PLACE IN CHRIST, WHERE WE CAN RISE

ABOVE THE STORMS OF LIFE, LET THEM DO WHAT THEY'RE GOING TO.

WE'RE STILL GOING TO HAVE OUR JOY IN GOD, AND WE'RE NOT

GOING TO GIVE UP OUR HOPE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: EAGLES DO THAT, YOU KNOW?

THE BIBLE SAYS, "YOU CAN MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES."

IT TALKS ABOUT THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD SHALL RENEW

THEIR STRENGTH.

YOU KNOW WHAT THE WORD "WAIT" MEANS?

IT DOESN'T MEAN TO GO SIT IN A CHAIR SOMEWHERE

AND DO NOTHING TILL GOD MOVES.

THE WORD "WAIT" HAS THE SAME DEFINITION AS THE WORD "HOPE."

IT MEANS TO WAIT EXPECTANTLY, LOOKING AND LONGING FOR GOD

TO MOVE IN YOUR LIFE.

IF YOU'RE NOT WAITING WITH EXPECTATION,

THEN YOU'RE NOT WAITING ACCORDING TO WHAT THE BIBLE

MEANS WHEN IT TALKS ABOUT WAITING.

WAITING ON GOD.

WE CAN GET UP EVERY DAY EXCITED, WAITING TO SEE WHAT GOD

IS GOING TO DO THAT DAY.

YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT GOD MAY DO ANY GIVEN DAY IN YOUR LIFE,

BUT I'LL BET YOU ONE THING, I BET THAT MOST OF YOU

NEED TO EXPECT MORE THAN WHAT YOU'RE EXPECTING.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I MEAN, I'M EXPECTING SOMETHING GREAT TO HAPPEN TODAY.

LORD HAVE MERCY, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S GOING TO BE,

BUT I'M EXPECTING--YOU SAY, "WELL, WHAT IF NOTHING HAPPENS?"

WELL, THEN I'M GOING TO EXPECT SOMETHING GOOD TO HAPPEN

ON THE WAY HOME, OR WHEN I GET HOME,

OR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

SEE, YOU CAN JUST RAMP YOUR JOY UP TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL,

AND YOU CAN DO IT ALL BY YOURSELF.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE ANY MUSIC, YOU DON'T

HAVE TO HAVE ANYBODY PREACHING TO YOU.

ALL YOU GOT TO DO IS GET FULL OF HOPE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: EVERYBODY SAY IT WITH ME, "SOMETHING GOOD

IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME."

SEE, YOU FEEL BETTER ALREADY.

CHRISTIANITY WOULD'VE BEEN IN DANGER IN THE DAYS THAT PAUL

WROTE THIS LETTER OF BEING COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED

BY FALSE RELIGIONS WERE IT NOT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD

PROTECTING IT.

IN THOSE DAYS, JUST LIKE TODAY, THERE EXISTED A STRANGE MIXTURE

OF ALL KINDS OF DIFFERENT SO-CALLED RELIGIONS.

IN THOSE DAYS, THERE WAS A MIXTURE OF JEWISH LEGALISM,

GRECIAN PHILOSOPHY, AND ORIENTAL MYSTICISM.

AND IT WAS INTERWOVEN IN A MOST CUNNING AND DECEPTIVE WAY.

AND IN 1 THESSALONIANS, IT'S ACTUALLY SPOKEN OF

AS THE MYSTERY OF LAWLESSNESS.

AND IT EXISTED UNDER THE GENERAL NAME GNOSTICISM.

THE GNOSTIC SAYS THAT WE CANNOT KNOW GOD.

AND I TALKED A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THIS LAST NIGHT, BUT NOTHING IS

SADDER THAN FOR SOMEBODY TO BE COMMITTED TO A RELIGION,

AND THEY'RE DILIGENT IN GOING TO A CHURCH SOMEWHERE WEEK

AFTER WEEK, BUT NEVER TAUGHT THAT JESUS DIDN'T DIE FOR THEM

TO HAVE A RELIGION, BUT SO THEY COULD HAVE

A PERSONAL, INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

I MEAN, THERE WERE DAYS WHEN PEOPLE DIDN'T BELIEVE THEY

COULD EVEN UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE.

THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO READ IT.

THEY THOUGHT THE PRIESTS WERE THE ONLY ONE

WHO COULD UNDERSTAND IT.

DAYS WHEN PEOPLE THOUGHT THEY DIDN'T THINK THEY COULD HEAR

FROM GOD.

THEY THOUGHT THEY HAD TO GO TO SOMEBODY ELSE ALL THE TIME

TO HEAR FROM GOD FOR THEM.

CAN I TELL YOU SOMETHING TODAY?

NOW, THERE'S A SONG THAT SAYS THIS, BUT I'VE BEEN MEDITATING

ON THIS, I'M ALMOST TEMPTED TO WRITE A BOOK ON IT.

GOD IS YOUR FRIEND.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: HE IS YOUR FRIEND.

HE IS NOT MAD AT YOU, HE'S NOT WAITING

TO BANG YOU OVER THE HEAD BECAUSE YOU'VE MADE A MISTAKE.

HE'S NOT LOADING US DOWN WITH RELIGIOUS RULES

AND REGULATIONS, WHICH WE'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT

THIS AFTERNOON.

THANK GOD WE CAN BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT,

NOT A LIST OF RULES.

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: TALK ABOUT ADDING CREATIVITY TO YOUR LIFE, MAN,

JUST START BEING LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

EVEN PRAYER, YOU KNOW?

I MEAN, OF COURSE I LOVE THE WORD "PRAYER,"

IT'S ALL OVER THE BIBLE.

BUT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO SAY TO PEOPLE, YOU KNOW,

JUST HAVE A TALK WITH GOD.

HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH GOD.

SOMEHOW OR ANOTHER, IF WE RELEGATE IT

INTO "MY PRAYER TIME," WE CAN ALMOST GET THE IDEA

THAT'S BEEN PASSED DOWN TO US THAT IT'S THIS RELIGIOUS

EXERCISE THAT HAS TO BE PERFORMED IN A CERTAIN WAY,

IN A CERTAIN PLACE, WITH A CERTAIN VOICE TONE,

AND WE ALMOST BECOME LIKE OTHER PEOPLE WHEN WE TRY

TO TALK TO GOD.

SO MUCH DECEPTION EXISTED IN THOSE DAYS, AND PAUL

WAS VERY CONCERNED THAT THEY

WERE GOING GO TO BE DECEIVED AND BE LED BACK INTO LEGALISM.

OR HE EXPRESSED A CONCERN, HE SAID, "I'M FEARFUL LEST YOU BE

MOVED AWAY FROM THE SIMPLICITY THAT IS FOUND IN CHRIST."

AND I LOVE THAT.

A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS SUPPOSED TO BE SIMPLE.

BEING A CHRISTIAN IS SUPPOSED TO SIMPLIFY OUR LIFE, NOT LOAD

US DOWN WITH A BUNCH OF RULES AND REGULATIONS

WE THINK WE HAVE TO FOLLOW IN ORDER TO GET SOMETHING RIGHT

EVERY SINGLE DAY.

AND I CAN TELL YOU TODAY SO MANY PEOPLE GEAR TOWARD

HOW MUCH THEY DO SOMETHING.

HOW LONG DO I PRAY?

HOW MANY CHAPTERS DO I READ EVERY DAY?

ON AND ON AND ON.

JUST STOP COUNTING STUFF.

JUST STOP SETTING YOUR CLOCK AND THINKING, "WELL, YOU KNOW,

I'M GOING TO PRAY AN HOUR."

WELL, YOU KNOW, I USED TO DO THAT.

I MEAN, I WOULD HEAR PEOPLE COME IN AND TALK ABOUT HOW LONG THEY

PRAYED EVERY DAY WHEN THEY WERE PREACHING, AND SO I THOUGHT

I NEEDED TO TRY TO DO THAT.

AND I REMEMBER ONE TIME, DUMB, DUMB ME BACK THEN,

I GOT MY CLOCK, LOCKED MYSELF IN A ROOM, AND I DECIDED

THAT I WAS GOING TO PRAY 4 HOURS EVERY DAY

LIKE THE INTERCESSOR THAT CAME TO OUR CHURCH AND SPOKE

ON INTERCESSION.

AND AFTER 5 MINUTES, I'D SAID EVERYTHING I KNEW HOW TO SAY.

DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ELSE.

FINALLY FELL ASLEEP.

AND I WAS SO BORED IN THAT ROOM

FOR 4 HOURS.

NOW, THAT'S SILLY.

WE DON'T NEED TO BEHAVE LIKE THAT.

AND HOPEFULLY, MAYBE YOU HAVEN'T GONE THROUGH STUFF LIKE THAT,

BUT HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE?

A LOT OF US HAVE, YOU KNOW?

AND IT'S REALLY OUT OF A GOOD HEART.

WE JUST WANT TO DO WHAT'S RIGHT.

WE WANT TO PLEASE GOD.

GINGER: DAVE, YOU'VE FOR A LONG TIME HAD A STRONG

DESIRE FOR GOD TO OPEN DOORS FOR US TO BE ABLE TO SHARE

CHRIST ALL OVER THE WORLD,

BUT IN PARTICULAR, HERE IN EUROPE IS SOMEPLACE

THAT HE FIRST PUT YOU IN THE MILITARY.

AND SO, IT'S BEEN A REAL STRONG CONCERN FOR YOU TO BE ABLE

TO SHARE CHRIST WITH EVERYONE HERE.

WHY IS THAT?

DAVE: WELL, I THINK ONE OF THE REASONS IS

WE'VE BEEN--WE'RE ALMOST IN EVERY OTHER COUNTRY.

AND SO, YOU KNOW, I FELT LIKE THERE ARE AREAS OVER HERE

IN EUROPE WHERE WE'RE NOT ON TELEVISION.

WE'RE NOT ON TELEVISION IN ITALY, WE'RE NOT

ON TELEVISION IN SPAIN, WE'RE NOT ON TELEVISION

IN FRANCE.

AND SO, I FELT LIKE, YOU KNOW, WE NEED TO GET ON TELEVISION

IN THOSE PLACES IF WE CAN.

SO WE BEGAN TO PRAY ABOUT IT, YOU KNOW, TO SEE WHAT GOD

WOULD DO.

GINGER: SO, INTERNET'S ONE OF THE AREAS HERE IN FRANCE

THAT WE'RE REALLY SEEING GOD USE.

DAVE: YEAH.

I BELIEVE THAT INTERNET IS THE FIRST STEP, AND IT'S AMAZING

WHAT INTERNET HAS DONE, WHAT HAS HAPPENED ACROSS--AS A RESULT

OF INTERNET IN FRANCE.

AND SO, AND WE'RE SEEING THAT BY THE CONFERENCE

THAT WE'RE DOING RIGHT HERE IN PARIS.

AND THE OVERWHELMING RESPONSE WE'RE HAVING IS A RESULT

OF INTERNET, FAR MORE THAN WE

WOULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED.

AND SO, GOD IS DOING TREMENDOUS THINGS HERE.

GINGER: ANY IDEA--SO MANY YEARS AGO WHEN YOU

WERE STATIONED HERE IN FRANCE, CORRECT?

PART OF THE TIME IN THE MILITARY,

AND ALSO IN GERMANY?

DAVE: YES, I WAS STATIONED IN LA ROCHELLE, FRANCE,

WHICH IS ON THE WEST COAST OF FRANCE, FOR A YEAR

AND A HALF, AND IN GERMANY FOR A YEAR.

GINGER: THAT YOU'D BE BACK HERE TODAY

FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS?

DAVE: NO IDEA, NO IDEA.

OF COURSE, THAT WAS EVEN BEFORE THE MINISTRY,

SO BEFORE I MET JOYCE.

SO YES, NO IDEA.

GINGER: SO, NOW FOR GOD TO BE ABLE TO OPEN THESE DOORS

TO SHARE HIM AND SEEING SO MANY PEOPLE'S LIVES

REALLY BEING CHANGED HAS TO BE A WONDERFUL THRILL FOR YOU.

DAVE: OH, IT'S AMAZING.

IT'S AMAZING WHAT GOD IS DOING.

AND, YOU KNOW, EACH TIME HE DOES SOMETHING, WE JUST STAND

KIND OF AROUND WITH OUR MOUTHS HANGING OPEN AT WHAT HE'S DONE.

AND SO, WE'RE VERY THANKFUL, VERY APPRECIATIVE OF WHAT GOD

HAS DONE, AND WE JUST--WE'RE EXCITED BECAUSE WE KNOW

THAT THIS IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG OF WHAT HE'S

GOING TO DO HERE, SO.

[MUSIC]

ANNOUNCER: YOU MEAN MORE TO US AT JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES

THAN YOU MAY EVER KNOW.

WE APPRECIATE YOU, AND WE THANK OUR FRIENDS AND PARTNERS

Hornet La Frappe - new album

Shout out to Hornel La Frappe, go buy his new album

Bald Sofiane

I want to look at him closely

He looks more brutal with the new haircut

Simple melody

Dangerous guys

They are very dangerous

I love the beat

It's a simple beat

I was listening to his song Gramme 2 Peuf today. Awesome song

It's his best song

Although I've only heard 4 or 5 of his songs

It's sad that I don't know the language they rap

It would be cool to sing along with them

I can't get used to his new haircut

You're right

Very hard song

And as always they have many people in the video

Perfect... perfect, perfect

He has different flags in the picture, is there a Russian flag?

There's a Jamaican flag

There's no Russian flag

His new album is perfect

It's both hard and melodic

Nice mix of both

And his song Gramme 2 Peuf is dope

I don't know French

This song is dope too. Good beginning of this night

Yeah, they warmed us up with this song

Go buy the new album of Hornet La Frappe

Salute guys!

Rand Fishkin & Geraldine DeRuiter on Personal Branding - Duration: 15:36.

Hey entrepreneurs you are in for a treat today because I have the Rand Fishkin

and the Geraldine here to interview and Caitlin and I are going to be doing this

interview and we're gonna be talking about branding and video and marketing

and all sorts of good stuff so are you ready?

Hey guys if you want to know more

about personal branding with video you are in the right place. My name is Salma

Jafri I'm a video content strategist and you need to be subscribed to this

YouTube channel so go ahead and click the red subscribe icon and don't forget to

hit the bell notification so you are the first to know when I upload a new video.

We're here talking with Rand and Geraldine who just spoke at a conference

right now - we were both watching - and it was awesome to see both of you and it's

really nice to see both of you together. So do you do this often, like, couple

conferencing? Ah, this is only the second time ever. How does that work? To be able to say, you

know, I'm speaking at a conference with my wife or my husband? Not many people

can say that. That is true yeah I think it's nice to be able to compare

and contrast it gives you empathy for the other person. Okay so honestly who is

the better speaker? I mean Rand had more time

and he's done this more than I have but I was still better. (laughter) Do you guys compare quips, like who has the funnier jokes?

So here's a secret about Rand. He doesn't actually practice his talks at all. You're that good!

If it's the first time that he's given a speech on stage it's the first time

he's given that talk so you would never you never know. Does it work for

spontaneity? I have no idea what I'm gonna say before I get up there just...

And when did you finish your slides for this presentation?

Uhhh, yesterday at 5:31 p.m. even though I promised I'd have them done at 5:30

So the organizers were freaking out. (Yeah really close). And I hafta...if I have a time limit I have to

practice a lot. If there's no time limits I'm a little bit more relaxed. Are there are tips you would give for up and coming speakers?

I would say have a style that's true to your speaking style like don't...if you're not

if you're a very serious person don't try and crack a bunch of jokes. If

you crack a bunch of jokes in your real life,

don't become super serious like be organic to who you are. Okay. So a lot of my

audience are getting started with branding. Okay they're getting started

with video marketing. So take us back to somebody who wants to start a business

and what kind of platforms should they be on right now. So we're in 2017 but

it's pretty much ending right now, right? So let's talk about strategy for the

next six months. Where would you tell them to focus their efforts? What

platform should they concentrate on? What kind of content should they create? And I

remember seeing your graph when you started TheEverywhereist, and I saw that it

took you a few years to gain traction and it was a flat line, there were a little bumps

along the way when you got like a good you know a viral hit somewhere along the

way and then it started to sort of take off gently and then there was this big

boost where you started to get a hundred thousand views right? And then I was like

and I and I saw it in one of your presentations this amazing a little note

that you put as an arrow where you said most people quit

here. And it was just right before the take-off point. So I want you to speak to

that audience everyone who's creating right now

feeling like they're not getting that traction

what do you want to say to them and where should they be what should they be

doing? One of the things that I heard recently and it completely embodied kind of

my own philosophy and something that Rand had told me repeatedly which is -

When I started my blog I would get incredibly frustrated and I said this

isn't going anywhere this isn't doing anything and I think the thing

that I said to you most often was "what am I doing?" (laughter) It's a valid thought. We all

have it. (yeah). And Rand said Just. Keep. Writing. And one of the things

one of the articles that I read recently was from someone who said that you might

be smarter than me, you might be more talented than me, you might have more

resources but I will outwork you. No matter what I will outwork you and I was

like "oh dang" and I do think that part of part of what I had when I started the

blog (and I talk about this a lot) is I had more time than other people. And so

find the one thing that you can do better than anyone else. You might take

better photos, you might have more time. And do that. And I would also say

consistency is key. So for me it was every single day I was going to post up

and it was awful and it actually made things almost worse but I do think that

if you have that consistency, after a certain number of years you will

something will happen. You talked a lot about failure in your talk today (yeah) and I think the

idea of failing forward and continuing to persevere will help you get over the

hump and figure out, you know, what your determination of success is. Yeah.

I mean wow that made my talk sound way better than it was (laughter) It was that, it was ALL that. (the highlight reel). But I do think that you're trudging through and there's no audience

and there's no response and that is when people give up. And I think that's what

you need to work through. How do you know that you're good enough to

continue? I almost think you don't need to be good enough you just need to keep

going. I think a lot of people - we say this all the time - like done is better

than good. What about talent versus hard work?

I think talent will get you part of the way but eventually that peters out (yeah)

I mean hard work improves talent. Talent that doesn't work stays static.

So (that's a tweetable though). Yeah. You can be the greatest writer in the

world - if you never produce anything, it doesn't matter. And you can be a mediocre writer

and sell tons of books and a lot of mediocre writers sell lots of books. We're not taking any names though! My mom always says "completion versus perfection".

Don't worry about it you can always go back, you can always tweak, you can always

make better. But just finishing...yeah! Perfectionist is, like perfection is the

enemy of done. Okay but what about like adding noise to

the world? It's like you're creating content you're doing a lot of stuff yeah...

I think this is where empathy and audience understanding

comes in. Right. So strategy. If you're just creating - you know I don't want to say only for

yourself - but if you're only, especially in the business world right, if you're

writing B2B type of content and you're pumping it out because you think you're

supposed to, but you have no empathy for your audience, you can't put yourself in

their shoes, you don't know what they actually want,

you're probably yelling at a wall. But if if you can imagine their pain and their

struggles and think to yourself - and know for a fact - I know that when they walk

out of a talk at a conference they're all thinking about this. I know when they

struggle with this piece of their job they're all wondering how did this

person have success in it. And if you can attack those problems directly I think

you build up an audience. You talked a little bit

in your talk about link building essentially and guess posting and things

like that and being relevant, so kind of going back to your original question of

going into 2018 what should people focus on what kind of content where should

they be? Do you have any recommendations there? Yeah I mean so (that's a good question)

Yeah for the guest contribution side of things I think one of the one of

the keys is not not to think of it exclusively as just like oh this is a

way I get links but but rather to say oh I am struggling to achieve the rankings,

the reach, the amplification that I want on my own platform. Let me see if I can

leverage some other people's platforms to try and do that. And you know there's

a bunch of powerful ones out there on the web

(pointed to in the presentation) that give you reach far beyond what what maybe

your small website could achieve. That's that's pretty exciting. I mean

Geraldine just wrote for Refinery29 that probably got thousands of visitors that

wouldn't have ordinarily come to your website and now hopefully many of them

are following you. I just want to quickly ask you...this is on YouTube. I'm a

YouTube strategist. A lot of my clients want to get on YouTube. Is it too late to

get on YouTube? Oh, God no! Yeah, I never think it's too late for anything. The internet started...how many years ago did the Internet start!

Maybe in like 70 years...in 70 years we'll be talking about "well is it too late?" Even then. What is true today, is that you you have to be better

in your sphere than what exists but that that's true universally. And you don't

mean better in terms of just production quality. You mean better in terms of

being able to articulate what you want what you want to say and be able to be

aligned with your audience. Yeah giving people something that they truly

want. Right, so better doesn't just necessarily mean more money or technical

or more resources it just means more you. Well so what I always say is if you like

create something that people want...if you can't...if you're not enjoying creating it,

and you can't understand why someone else would want to watch it,

then no one else will wanna watch it. (yeah yeah) And so something that a friend

of mine stole this quote from me, but it's mine! Our friend Will Reynolds took

it - and he does attribute it to me - it's be be the search result that you want to

find, and I would say be the video that you would want to watch, and be the blog

post that you would want to read. Does that sort of automatically mean don't

try and be the expert all the time? Oh yes, absolutely! You know cause we're always trying to

pretend like we know everything (yeah) and we're you know credible and

authoritative and we're there and so follow us. So does that mean that you

know have more vulnerability and just you know be a little bit more uh...

make your mistakes and own them. So vulnerability is a great way to build an

audience because people can relate to that. They know that they're not alone

and I think walking through the learning process which is something that Rand

experienced with his blog SEO Moz. The SEO Moz blog, which was what Moz

was before, started because Rand was trying to answer his own questions

about SEO. And I think that's what you need to do you need to say hey I don't

know how this works and I need to figure it out. You're using video with

Whiteboard Friday that's a really popular part of your website...that's how I learned a lot of my SEO tactics

I really enjoy it. How are you competing with Whiteboard Friday? Are you planning to incorporate more video?

I am planning a hostile takeover (laughter). (The Geraldine edition) I've replaced the whiteboard markers with permanent markers (oh that is trolling!).

Are you going to do Whiteboard Friday at some point? No you know what. I don't think so. I don't think it's my forte.

I think video makes me a little uncomfortable

so right now I've been slacking on writing so I'm trying to do that. Okay. So coming

back to Whiteboard Friday - it's once a week. So would you recommend that

strategy to somebody I mean I know that most people are like okay you need to be

on YouTube at least two or three times a week right now to gain traction...

I'm doing once a week right now and it's actually pretty ok because that's what I

can manage but what would you say? I think it's much less about the time

frame you choose and much more about the consistency. So if you want to be once a

month, if you are "hey we produce four videos a year but they are absolutely

incredible and really something no one else is doing", you're gonna be fine. Right.

I mean I think...you know television has the same format, right. There's a lot of TV shows

that are only a few episodes they come out all at once, or they come out over

many years (right) or you know it's a movie it only hits once. It's less

about that and more about the consistency of sticking with it so that

someone knows reliably "hey I'll get another one in January, I'll get another

one in April". So it's like almost like building trust with your audience, they

know what to expect. You create an expectation and then you fulfil it. Okay awesome. So all right...

I am gonna put all the links to everything we talked about in the

description below so you guys can check that out. Parting words to anybody

wanting to start their brand right now. It's the end of 2017, what would you say?

Well, first of all do it immediately, like don't wait. (Don't wait). Don't wait, like there's

there's no point. And then once you start be consistent whether it's once a week

whether it's once a month just make something that people can rely on and

then keep doing it because persistence is what is going to get you to the end

of the race when everyone else kind of peters out. Nice. That's great. Uh. I mean I'm

very passionate about getting to know your audience right? So I would urge

you to spend time with the people that you're trying to reach. I would urge you

to get to know their challenges and their problems. I would urge you to build

a group of them that you know personally and spend time with and like and wanna

hang out with. Certainly in the SEO world that's what's worked wonders for my brand.

Kinda like we just did with inside my Facebook group. We hung out

with. I just called them over hey I'm over - I was in Houston and then I'm in

Boston and I'm like come on over, who wants to come over for a meetup you know...

and like that's always like fun because it's online but then it's real life as

well, so yeah. People try to get celebrities and stuff in the door and I think

starting at the roots of brand advocates and people who are happy to share and be

excited about what you're doing (yeah). That word of mouth is going to go.

Awesome. So okay guys thank you so much for being here. Thank you having us! This was very

aspirational for me and Caitlin. We really really wanted to meet you guys

and I'm really glad that you had the time, you took the time out to be here so

thank you so much. Thanks for having us. All right guys so remember again you can

watch this episode on the YouTube channel and also inside the Facebook

Group - it's Personal Branding with Video. Go check that out. All the links are in

the description. Don't forget to leave a comment about your favorite part of this

episode. So go ahead, build your personal brands. You can do it. You can #BeTheMedia.

See you next week! Byeeee.

Furniture Shopping For My New Apartment - Duration: 10:21.

Emart is that way.

Let's start with Emart x2

Why?

There are a lot of cute home stuff

You thought we would go in to buy clothes?

That's where H&M home is.

Mom: Oh, H&M has home? J: Yes, so does Zara!

But I like H&M because it's cheaper.

Call him to check out Zara home.

But there isn't one here. Zara home is in Garosugil and Coex.

This is for candles? But we already have candles that come in cups so this is unnecessary.

These cushion covers so so cheap.

around $3?

Isn't this one better?

Yeah, I like this color.

How many does it come with? two?

But I want this...

Are you going to wash it?

No, we can vacuum this.

Out of the three, this will match our apartment.

This is prettier

I want this. How much is it?

I want this kind of rug.

You like this one?

These are nice.

We need these because it helps freshen up the air.

Like the one in your room right now

There are birds here x2

J: You like these? Mom: These are also great for new homes.

What is this for?

You should pick the curtain. (I'm VERY picky...)

You want something like this? Isn't this too short?

This one is pretty.

Mom, feel this.

Mom, I want something like this.

Omg this is 1+1! It's cheaper than EMART.

There are a lot of pretty ones here

What would you do if I bought that one?

It doesn't even have a price

Because no one is going to buy it

Mom, let's buy this chair.

Sit down

Oh, it's kinda comfy.

Put one in your room.

Nice

I like this

Even babies walk on that

You are the worst. You know I'm afraid of heights.

I know, but you can't see the bottom

Count Dooku.

- This time we will do it together. - I was about to say that.

Get help. You're no match for him. He's a Sith lord.

Chancellor Palpatine, Sith lords are our speciality.

Your swords, please.

We don't want to make a mess of things in front of the chancellor.

You won't get away this time, Dooku.

I've been looking forward to this.

My powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count.

Good. Twice the pride, double the fall.

Get-

I sense great fear in you, Skywalker.

You have hate. You have anger.

But you don't use them.

Good, Anakin. Good.

Kill him.

Kill him now.

I shouldn't.

Do it.

You did well, Anakin.

He was too dangerous to be kept alive.

Yes, but he was an unarmed prisoner.

I shouldn't have done that. It's not the Jedi way.

It is only natural. He cut off your arm, and you wanted revenge.

It wasn't the first time, Anakin.

Remember what you told me about your mother and the Sand People?

Now we must leave before more security droids arrive.

Anakin, there's no time.

We must get off this ship before it's too late.

- He seems to be all right. - Leave him, or we'll never make it.

His fate will be the same as ours.

Citi: Malala Fund - Duration: 1:01.

There are 130 million girls around the world

who are not in school today.

Girls are not in school because of economic issues and they have to work.

There's early child marriage, there's war and conflict.

At the Malala Fund

we help girls stay in school.

There are some really amazing people around the world doing incredible work.

The Malala Fund invests in education champions who work in the community

and do advocacy and pave the way so that girls can actually go to school.

To have the expertise of our financial partner,

Citi, guiding us is very important.

The fact that Citi is in countries where girls are vulnerable

ensures that we are able to get funds to the people

that we're working with and expand with great confidence.

When girls go to school we're going to maximize their talents.

We could have a solution for climate change in that girl.

That girl could be the next Nobel Peace Prize winner.
