my old nikon d3300 was worn out
shuttercount of +60000
sensor got more and more noisy and it produced unsharp pictures with some lenses... now I have to start all over with the lenses
this is the only lens I got so far.. going to get an adapter to use the nikkor lenses manually
well I'm looking forward to film with it
the videos will probably still be 2,5K cause editing 4K footage needs too much recources..
I have to try it out first but I don't think I can do that...
furthermore I'm thinking about doing a video advent calendar here on the channel... cause I still got a lot of stuff on the harddrive...
means a video every day but I'm not sure if I can keep it up
some videos are already edited but I won't upload unfinished business

Today we're having lunch here at Tikky Cafe
This is actually the first restaurant I visited here in Chiang Mai when I arrived here
This is such a nice and cute place
Now they're getting our order...
So when I had my first meal here I knew that the food in Thailand is amazing
I also noticed that food here in Thailand is very cheap, especially since I arrived here straight from Japan
You can get a great meal for a few euros
Even less
And the smoothies here are absolutely delicious
The one that has coconut, mango and passion fruit
There are times I'm graving for this smoothie
Soon it'll arrive
You can select the spicy level of your food and your protein here
So you can get any of the dishes as a vegetarian option if you wish
But there are also a few ready made vegetarian orders available in the menu
Like this Panang Special, which is amazing
And now our lovely smoothies have arrived
Look at this, creamy and perfect
Omg, this is just pure awesomeness
But so is this one
They have this special meal on the menu which has tofu, mushrooms and panang curry
And you can select the spicy level for yourself
And this one here, the papaya salad, is the spiciest food in Thailand
In this restaurant it is VERY spicy
On the first day I arrived here I had a taste of it
"Thai style", which is the original way they do it here
I lost my sense of taste instantly
So be careful
If you're planning on eating something else as well, you might loose your sense of taste with the salad
But this curry dish is huge
And absolutely amazing
And this is "medium spicy" which is already quite spicy
They have different scales in each restaurant
But you just have to try and find your level
So good
It was a lovely meal, as always
And the service here is great as well
And luckily we arrived early since all of the tables are now full at this time - noon on a Saturday
This restaurant is a great choice if you arrive here and you're not familiar with Thai food
Because there are photos of each dish
So it's easier to decide which one you want
And then you'll write your order on this piece of paper
So it's easy because you don't have to think of how to pronounce the food etc.
Just write down the dish and which spicy level you want
So it's a very easy first introduction to Thai cuisine
We we're just leaving with our scooter
And it started to rain on us!

I hope that most regular Down Under Visa BLOG page readers (those interested in Australian
partner visas for their lovely ladies from the Philippines)
have read and understood the toughening-up that's
taken place in the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) when it comes
to the processing of partner visa applications and
prospective marriage visas both in the Australian offices and
in the Manila Embassy.
November 2017 changes in Australian partner visa processing
We (Down Under Visa) received a letter a few days ago from one of the senior officers in
the Australian Embassy in Manila about the issue of partner
visa applications, and what they will no longer accept.
It covered the same issues that we announced
in our recent BLOG article.
In summary: * Applications need to be "fully-loaded" when
submitted, with all the supporting documentation included.
o That means all relationship evidence and other documents right there at the time of
application o And that means not thinking you can wait
for the Department to send out endless reminder letters (known as Requests for Information,
or RFI's) * And it means if the application is lodged
"naked" (as the Department are calling it), they will not
send an RFI letter.
They will refuse the application immediately.
* And a refusal means you lose the Visa Application Charge, ie. the $7,000.00 you need to pay
them.
We've long warned applicants not to assume they can slap together a last-minute partner
visa application inside Australia, yet we still
have enquirers who assume they can do just that.
Sadly I can see a lot of refusals coming up very shortly if
people try that one out.
Changes to PIC 4020 ie false statements and bogus documents
We had also announced the tougher stance they are now taking when there are false statements
and bogus documents in a visa application.
Note well that an omission of an important bit of information
equates to a false statement too.
False statement and/or bogus documents will lead to a 10 year ban from making any further
visa applications
* This will apply to statements made in the current application AND on applications made
in the last 10 years
* This will apply to all applications made, whether granted, refused or withdrawn.
o That means no more dodging the issue by withdrawing the visa application
o And it's also retrospective.
They will look at old applications from the applicant as well.
So not only will an application need to be complete and decision-ready, it will need
to be absolutely accurate.
No room for mistakes and careless omissions of important information.
Accuracy and last- minute rush-jobs simply do not go together.
No more paper application forms (47sp, 40SP) for partner visa applications
Yes, they've removed the paper application forms that we used to know so well before
we changed over to electronic applications a few years back.
If you lodge paper application forms, they'll send them right
back to you.
So thinking you can avoid the computer and send off a couple of forms that you did on
the kitchen table, this won't happen anymore.
The application process has got even more serious, so you need to be 100%
sure of what you're doing.
So yes, back to what I said at the start.
You need to be seriously crazy to be ill-prepared, under-skilled
and to rush through a last-minute Australian partner visa application.
Act in haste, and repent at leisure.
At the best, enough leisure time to save up more money.
At worst, maybe 10 years of repentance.

Most of those song are in the minor scale
there are 2 basic minor scales
the Melodic and the Harmonic minor scale
and those are what we are going to see today
As I did with the major scale, I will introduce you to the minor scale with the minor chords
we saw the minor chords some weeks ago.

We are going to learn for basic minor chords the corresponding minor scale
So we will introduce ourselves to the minor scales through the minor chords
as we did with the major scale
We saw that there are 3 basics configurations for majors chords
the G major for example, has this major scale
We also have 3 basics configurations for the minor chords
Though there are lots of variations to them

A 3th configuration we did not see is this one
The barre of the Fm
This barré comes from this position of Dm

This is much better.
So, from this Dm, we can play all those barre minor chords

Now let us learn the minor scale based on those 3 positions
For this position
the melodic minor scale is going to be
Ths C-note is the tonic of the scale
That means that the scale starts and ends there
maybe you feel melancoly inside the melody
it continues...
and backwards
Lets do that again
This is for this position of the minor chord
So if you know a part of a song plays around this chord, you can also do to solo within those notes
That is for the melodic minor scale
The harmonic minor scale is a little bit different
The difference is just on one single note (on interval)
the difference is at this level of the scale
Instead of this note you have to play this one
The last note is just ONE fret BEFORE the tonic
This scale has an arabic or spanish taste

And back
The chord is the same
All you need to know is that the last note of the harmonic scale is 1/2 ton (one fret) away to the tonic
