12 Things INFPs Absolutely Need to Be Happy - Duration: 8:13.
12 Things INFPs Absolutely Need to Be Happy
The INFP is one of the rarest of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types, making up just 4 percent
of the population.
It's no wonder INFPs often feel out of place in the world, there simply aren't many people
out there like them.
Creative and unique, INFPs are called "mediators" and "creative seekers."
Living a conventional, routine life isn't enough for them.
They dream of something more.
Henry David Thoreau, who was thought to have been an INFP, wrote in Walden, "I wanted
to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life."
This quote speaks to the the INFP's desires on the deepest level.
In a society designed for fast-talking, fast-moving extroverts, what do thoughtful and reflective
INFPs need to be happy?
Here are 12 things, What an INFP Personality Needs to Be Happy
1 - New ideas to explore.
INFPs are probably the most open-minded of all the personality types.
Possessing an insatiable curiosity about life, their minds are always going.
It makes them happy to entertain new ideas and possibilities.
Rather than concerning themselves with "what is" (like an ISFP would), INFPs are interested
in "what could be."
Like their extroverted counterparts the ENFPs, they approach life with an experimental attitude,
always on the lookout for new experiences, lifestyles, and ideas.
They see each new experience as an opportunity to grow into a better, more whole person.
If life becomes mundane and routine, an INFP will wither.
2 - An intimate understanding of who they are.
Like INFJs, INFPs need to know who they are and what their purpose in life is.
Life is a grand story, and they are at the center of it.
Who were they yesterday, and how does that mesh with who they are today?
How does their identity fit in with the world around them?
Without an intimate understanding of themselves, INFPs will feel lost.
3 - Human contact, not social contact.
Being introverted, INFPs may shy away from large parties, networking events, and group
activities.
It's not social contact INFPs crave, it's mutual human understanding.
They want to peek into another person's world, thoughts, and emotions.
They want to understand what other people are struggling with and what makes them different.
INFPs read people well, often quickly intuiting a person's hidden feelings and motivations.
(However, private by nature, INFPs rarely provide insight into their own.)
Without close relationships based on mutual understanding, INFPs will be unhappy.
4 - Purpose in their work.
Sure, INFPs can punch in and punch out.
They can do repetitive tasks if they have to.
But if they don't see a larger purpose behind it all, they will be unhappy.
Conventional, routine jobs will feel soul-sucking.
INFPs are at their best when they are working for causes they truly believe in.
5 - A source of inspiration.
Along with purpose and identity, INFPs need to feel inspired.
For this reason, they often turn to books, movies, music, or artwork.
Travel may also inspire them and help them further clarify their identity and purpose.
Some INFPs even adopt a nomadic lifestyle, wandering from one place to the next, in search
of meaning and inspiration.
6 - An outlet for their creativity.
INFPs possess the gift of language.
Intuitive and keenly aware of others, they are excellent communicators.
As masters of metaphor and symbolism, many of them become poets, musicians, and authors.
Whatever the medium, INFPs see their creative projects as a means to express the deeper
parts of themselves and better understand their place in the world.
Without an outlet for their creativity, INFPs will feel hollow and empty.
7 - Time alone.
Sometimes INFPs are mistaken for extroverts, due to their excellent ability to communicate
and their depth of caring for others.
However, INFPs are truly introverts who need plenty of time alone to recharge.
Time to daydream, relax, and tease apart the meaning behind their experiences.
And, of course, time to pursue their creative interests.
Without alone time, INFPs will feel disconnected from themselves.
8 - A focus on meaning, not on material things.
INFPs value ideas, meaning, and inspiration.
For this reason, many of them adopt a minimalistic lifestyle.
Unlike INFJs and INTJs, whose inferior Extroverted Sensing function makes them crave luxury,
quality, and sensual experiences, INFPs live a simpler, more Bohemian lifestyle.
This allows them to focus more on the things they care about, like travel or their creative
endeavors, and less on the uninspired, routine work that is usually necessary to earn a paycheck.
9 - Time and space to make decisions that align with their principles.
INFPs give patience and understanding to others, and they crave it in return.
Deeply principled, INFPs make decisions based on what they believe is right.
It doesn't necessarily matter what the fastest route is, or what the data says, or what would
please others.
INFPs need to do what feels right to them.
And sometimes, that means slowing down and looking at a situation from all angles before
pulling the trigger.
10 - Flexibility from others.
We live in a society run by deadlines, schedules, and structure.
We're pushed to be more efficient and more productive today than we were yesterday.
This is not how INFPs work.
Every once in a while, they need to blow off their work and go take a walk in a beautiful
place.
Every once in a while, they will change their mind on a whim, canceling plans with their
friends and instead staying home to journal.
INFPs embrace all that life has to offer.
When their inner spirit is calling, they need flexibility and understanding from others.
11 - A partner who makes them a better person.
Dreamy idealists, INFPs are looking for the perfect partner.
Sometimes they dream so much that they put the object of their affection on a pedestal,
playing and replaying scenarios in their mind about what will be.
However, nobody's perfect.
Rather than clinging to a fantasy that may exist only in their mind, INFPs would be better
off finding a partner who helps them grow.
(INFPs love self-development.)
As passionate, hopeless romantics who respect the independence of their partner, INFPs are
fully worth the commitment, and will no doubt leave their partner happier and better off
than they were alone.
12 - The freedom to dream.
INFPs dream of a better world.
Of a better life for themselves.
Of a society that is fair and equal.
When INFPs dream, they dream big.
And for many, it's not just a dream.
Think Joan of Arc, who was thought to have been an INFP.
As a teenager with no military training, she led the French army to victory over the British
during the Hundred Years' War.
Other famous INFPs include Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn, Fred Rogers, John Lennon,
Kurt Cobain, Tori Amos, William Shakespeare, Helen Keller, and Isabel Briggs Myers (creator
of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator).
INFPs don't just dream, they lead they way to a better world for everyone.
All in all, that's the 12 Things INFPs Absolutely Need to Be Happy.

Overwatch Shield Dancing Guide - Live longer and kill more | OverwatchDojo - Duration: 8:00.
Hey there!
We are going to dance around shields and explain why it is not only fun but actually a really
invaluable tool when you have barriers around you.
Let's get into our shield dancing masterclass.
Hello guys and welcome to the dojo.
We are going to talk about this:
This move seems spectacular and most importantly makes sure that you are safe.
It also lets you have an easy elimination most of the times and fun to do given that
you learn how to do it well.
Shield dancing is a core skill that you need to master in order to maximize your chances
to stay alive in hot situations.
First of all, let's talk about the basics of shield dancing.
This skill is usually only come into play when you are close to the enemy and you have
some kind of friendly barrier around you.
There are two main styles that Overwatch players can use.
One is when you just use up the shield in a way that makes it hard for the enemy to
hit you, essentially putting the shield between you and the enemy all the time.
Shields are also a good tool to break the line of sight, more about that in another
video, click the card right now if you are interested!
This kind of movement allows you to stay protected, and you can fire through your friendly shield
in the meantime.
This is the style that anyone should be able to perform well with any type of character.
We will refer to this as the basic shield dancing.
When doing this move, your most important objective is to protect your head, then to
protect your body, than to damage the enemy while stepping around the edge of the shields.
The other style is the expansion of the basic shield dancing, most often performed by tank
characters.
When doing this style, the tank character usually dances back and forth the shield instead
of around it.
This makes the shield last longer, thus giving the team more opportunity to do their jobs.
Orisa and Winston are the best examples because they can deploy their own shields and dance
back and forth around it to mitigate some of the damage coming from the enemy team.
This style can only be executed if it is safe to do so.
You are reliant on your supports when doing this with a tank.
The rhythm of the dance is the following: deploy the shield, run past it, take and do
some damage, then fall back behind the shield while getting healed by the supports.
Rinse and repeat.
Analysis of shield dancing Alright by now you should be able to understand
when and how to use shield dancing for your own benefits.
We are going to quickly go over these, just to make sure the picture is full.
Shield dancing will give you the following benefits:
It will make sure you can do your job from safety
It will make sure that you can stay alive a lot longer in a 1v1 situation, or when the
enemy team is around you.
It will help you to stay protected when using channeled abilities like Moira's ultimate
or McCree's deadeye.
Symmetra is a beast when shield dancing.
However, we should also talk about the risks and things that you need to pay attention
to.
So when you are waltzing around the barriers, keep the following in mind:
Different shields have different timings.
Keep in mind that if the barrier goes down, you are fully exposed.
Win your fights before that happens, or make sure you have a way to escape.
Melee attacks and melee weapons fully ignore shields.
Some of the enemy characters can fully ignore the shields.
These are Winston's tesla cannon, Symmetra's orbs, Moira's orbs, Moira's ultimate and
Reinhardt's flamestrike.
If there is a sniper in the enemy team, you are susceptible of going down instantly when
the shield disappears.
Pay attention to timing and the damage.
Shield dancing is basically a dodge with an extra tool, however, you can benefit a lot
if you know how to dodge well without protection.
Click the card right now for our guide about dodging!
Alright enough of the lecture, let's get our legs dirty.
We are going to teach you how to dance around different kinds of shields, starting with
Winston.
One more thing that's important, please don't forget to fire at the enemy who you
are hiding from when you are jumping around the barriers, or the whole thing is useless.
Okay, so Winston's bubble may be the most common barrier to dance around.
It has 600 HP, can be deployed every 13 seconds and stays up for 5 seconds.
600 HP means that it will go down in less than a full Roadhog clip (4 shots) from point-blank
range.
It is a sphere with the center point in the shield projector that Winston deploys.
It has a curve, so it is easier to move around it compared to Rein's flat one.
Winston will also use it as an initiation tool in most cases, throwing it down after
he jumped to the enemy team.
To use the shield well, we are going to see a Winston hopping around.
The basic idea here is to use the curve to hide you while you step out in the open to
do damage and fall back behind your shield.
The most important thing is to get the perfect rhythm for dodging the enemy shots, moving
in and out from the bubble.
Next up is Orisa's shield, as the second most common barrier you will dance around.
It has 900 HP, can be deployed every 8 seconds and stays online for 20 seconds.
900 HP is taken down by the hog in one full clip and an additional shot.
The deployed shield has a nice curve in it, so it's usage is a little different from
Winston's.
We would say that Orisa has the most useful shield for waltzing around it, as you have
different surfaces to use against different enemies.
Orisa's shield can be used well for baiting enemies because if the orientation is right,
you can have two layers of shields.
You pass the first, wait for the enemy to chase you and pass the second for a kill.
Reinhardt's shield is not the best buddy for stepping around it, as you can't use
curved surfaces to bait the enemies in.
It has 2000 HP, the most in the game and can be activated whenever he wants to activate
it.
With this shield, you should be most concerned about the shield going down at any moment.
You don't usually want to step in front of the Rein, rather stay behind it for protection.
If you still want to dance around him, be careful.
Rein will usually start hammering if someone is really close and he does not have to protect
the team behind him.
The last one we are going to talk about is Symmetra's shield.
This is usually only used by her to chase enemies down, but in some situations, you
may be able to benefit from it as well.
The shield has 1025 HP, can be cast every 10 seconds and travels until it collides with
the terrain.
The movement speed makes it makes it hard to use it for dancing, but you can push with
it as Symmetra usually does and damage enemies while doing so.
So how to practice shield dancing to master it?
Fire up a custom game with different kind of bots in a control map.
Lower the cooldown of your deployed shield ability (works with Orisa and Winston), and
try to stay alive as long as possible, killing the enemies.
It's recommended to turn abilities off and to make the spawning instantaneous.
Start with 3 enemies first, then if you feel confident you can increase the number.
The task is to try to cap the point before the bots do and use your shield for protection
while doing damage to them.
Make sure you respect the cooldown of the barrier, only deploy a new one if the old
was destroyed or disappear.
You can measure your improvement by seeing how much damage you suffer, how many times
you die and how quickly you can win the round against the enemies.
Of course, if you have a buddy to play with, it's a lot better.
1v1 each other around shields.
Lastly, let's briefly talk about how to counter someone using this technique against
you.
The most evident thing is to destroy the shield from safety before you try to take the enemy
hero down.
If that is not an option, moving unpredictably is your best bet and using your shield ignoring
abilities or melee damage.
Moving unpredictably means that you change directions and paths from where you approach
your shield dancing enemy.
You want to be in control, take the feeling of safety away from the opponent.
Dodge the shots, and try to sneak in as much damage as you can.
Hope you learned something new today.
As usual, like, favorite, comment and share this guide, spread the word about the dojo!
See you guys in the next one!

Earth's Energy Budget - Duration: 1:40.
The Sun pumps out energy in all directions 24/7,
and Earth soaks in it every day.
Some of that energy gets absorbed--
by the oceans, the land, the atmosphere--
and some gets reflected back out into space.
How much stays and how much goes is a function of Earth's Energy Budget.
Almost all of Earth's energy comes from the Sun.
As sunlight heats the planet, the planet changes.
The most obvious transformations are with water.
Oceans soak up heat, warming the planet.
But warming water evaporates, which forms clouds.
Those clouds, in turn, reflect sunlight back into space, which cools the planet.
When the clouds dissipate, sunlight once again warms the water below....
...and the cycle continues.
Other areas of the world have similar cycles.
Polar ice caps, for example, reflect sunlight....
...while dark land surfaces soak it up.
Overall, the amount of energy leaving the planet is equal to the amount coming in,
and Earth's energy budget stays roughly in balance....
...and it's a delicate balance.
That's why NASA has missions designed to keep track of how much energy The Sun is putting out,
as well as missions designed to keep track of forces on Earth
that might alter how much heat the planet traps.
That energy balance isn't simply a scientific measurement,
but a description of one of the most fundamental conditions
for making our planet conducive for sustaining life.

This Is How You Can Tell A Full Moon Is Coming - Duration: 1:55.
The moon has a lot of looks.
And each one happens for a reason.
It takes the moon about 29 and a half days to orbit around the Earth.
And during this time, the sun illuminates the moon from varying angles which creates
a shadow effect that we see here on Earth.
At the start of each lunar cycle, the moon is between the earth and the sun.
This is called a "New Moon".
The side of the moon visible from Earth is not illuminated and therefore we can't see
it.
As the angle between the Moon and the Sun increases, so does the amount of moon we're
able to see.
After the new moon, it enters the waxing crescent phase where we can see 1 to 49% of the moon.
When it reaches 50% illumination, it becomes a first quarter moon, which is kinda confusing
but we'll roll with it.
Next is the waxing Gibbous phase, which means we can see about half to almost all of the
moon.
And finally… we get to see the big cheese.
We get one glorious night of full moon and then the illumination starts to fade.
After a full moon, we see the waning phase which is the opposite of waxing.
The moon follows the same illumination pattern just flipped with the final phase being the
waning crescent.
Then it starts all over again with the new moon!
The way you see the moon depends on where you are on the globe.
If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, a waxing moon will be illuminated on the right
side while a waning moon will be illuminated on the left.
It's the opposite in the Southern Hemisphere.
So now you know, the next time you see a waxing moon, a full moon is right around corner.
You can catch new episodes of Space Crafts every Wednesday In this episode, we'll explain
what happens when the sun explodes and the potential fallout for Earth.

WEIRD Ways The Romans Used URINE In Their Daily Lives - Duration: 4:59.
Given our advancements in the fields of science, medicine, technology, and industry many of
us tend to look back and judge – sometimes harshly – the civilisations that came before
us with the standards of our current generation.
In more advanced countries, people would look at practices by ancient peoples as mildly
unnerving and downright disgusting especially when it comes to hygiene.
However, we need to understand that these people had to make use of whatever resource
is available to them at that time as much as our generation exploits what little resource
we have left.
Take, for example, one of the greatest empires of Western Civilisation: Rome.
Since their rise to their eventual collapse, the ancient Romans have been leaders in politics,
science, and technology for the centuries that they have spent marching through Europe,
Africa, and parts of Asia.
They have made revolutionary contributions in farming and industry as well as the military
sciences.
In fact, the ancient Romans were incredibly advanced in medicine that they were the first
to perform Caesarian sections to pregnant women, carry out non-lethal amputations, and
even conduct eye surgeries; all of this with just the resources that they have on hand.
Their knowledge of the human body was incredible that, even in the field of dentistry, the
Romans were able to keep their pearly whites in pristine condition.
Several studies of Roman remains show that many of them have incredible teeth and that
their civilisation, no matter how ancient by today's standards, only have a 5% rate
of gum disease such as periodontitis.
Compared to today's rate of 15% to 30% in the United Kingdom and 38.8% in the United
States, this figure is pretty significant and gives us a rare glimpse of just how seriously
they took dental hygiene.
Bear in mind that in those days the profession of dentist did not exists and in the rare
occasions that a tooth extraction needed to be done, a Roman would go to a surgeon instead.
Also, the idea of regularly flossing or picking out toothbrushes with activated charcoal was
not even a concept to them.
What they used was no magic potion or some ancient mixture of long-extinct herbs and
plants.
To keep their teeth shiny and clean, they used urine.
Before you start cringing at the idea of urine touching your lips, allow us to explain the
science behind this choice of dental hygiene product.
Despite the lack of extensive documentation and records regarding the use of this bodily
waste as a dental cleaning agent, it is widely known that urine – whether animal or human
– was part of the average Roman's daily life.
Why urine?
Simple.
Urine has a complex chemical composition – despite the waste products mixed in with it – that
has effective cleaning properties and this is mainly attributed to urine's high ammonia
content.
Ammonia is a common cleaning agent that many of us, even today, have stored in our sheds
and cupboards to get rid of grime and germs from any surface in our home.
The ammonia in urine has such a strong capability of cleaning that physicians in ancient Rome
believed that urine helped to whiten teeth – and they did.
Also, though it is not scientifically proven, these physicians also believed that by cleaning
your teeth and washing your mouth – yes, washing your mouth – with urine, you will
be able to prevent the eventual falling off of your teeth.
Urine as a dental hygiene agent, in fact, proves to be quite effective that many of
Rome's elite citizens and nobility pay handsomely for urine imported from Portugal, believing
that it is the most potent one there is.
The ammonia component of urine also proves to be more than useful outside dental hygiene.
Predating the use of bleach, Romans would use urine to wash their clothes and keep their
white garments white.
Ammonia from urine was, in fact, so useful that they would also use it to clean sheep
wool before processing it into garments.
The wool would be soaked in urine that was collected from latrines and other places,
stamped on to agitate the material, and later on washed to make it white and, believe it
or not, clean.
Tanning was also among the many uses Romans found in urine.
By tanning, we meant tanning leather and not lathering up with a vat of cow urine.
In the early days of veterinary medicine, the Romans also used urine to treat sick livestock.
Sheep with bile issues were made to drink human urine and livestock with lung disease
were given urine through the nose.
Roman bee farmers even used urine to treat their sick bees, and foul and poultry were
treated of bird flu by dabbing their beaks with the pungent liquid.
There have been a multitude of uses for urine in the time of the ancient Romans but using
it as teeth whitening and mouthwash takes the cake for being the most bizarre.
Before we begin to judge, the use of urine in dental hygiene was persistent until the
18th Century when commercial mouthwash would be laced with ammonia extracted from urine.
Though using urine in any practical or medical application has long since been phased out,
we have to remember – once again – that we should look upon how ancient civilisations,
such as the Roman Empire, managed to make do with what they have in order to live happy,
healthy, and productive lives.
We do not encourage anyone to try it out though because there are other, much more hygienic
ways of cleaning your teeth.
Urine is still a waste product that carries a number of pathogens that are harmful to
our health.
So, the next time you have a toothache or need to get your teeth whitened, we recommend
a good dentist and some wholesome products from your local pharmacy.
