Is this movie good? I mean, doesn't it feel like super rushed? God damn I just want a good batman/superman movie. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the Avengers but the batbutt will always hold a spot in my heart.

★DRAW THIS AGAIN CHALLENGE | 2011 vs 2017 | MILI KOEY - Duration: 2:39.*Subtitles generated by Google translator*
Hello everyone! I'm Mili Koey
And in today's video I bring you, the Draw this again!
In the last video of reacting to my old drawings.
I asked you which of those drawings you wanted me to do again with the style of now.
And the vast majority chose option "B". What was this ... so ...
you rule and here you have it
As you can see, the first thing I did was to make the sketch and I kept the original composition
Although the girl if it is true that I gave a little more movement, turning it a little.
so that it was not so static and give it a little more perspective with the subject of hair.
If you realize I have removed a lot, leaving it simpler but clearer
And now what I do is paint all the base colors
to let me know where the lights and shadows go
And start shading. In this case, the illumination of the original drawing did not make any sense.
because the light is supposed to come from the moon, so it has to be a pretty strong backlight.
And to compensate, I put the eyes of yellow color, so that it was the view to that point.
And if you look, you will see that I have always played with the same range of colors, blue throwing violets,
and the strongest thing would be pink, and with the yellow touch as a complementary point to the rest of the colors.
And following that range of colors, I painted the body using blues and parts with pink touches ..
And now I move to the hair, to give it the feeling that light comes from the moon.
making the back part brighter than the front.
And once we have everything marked, I start to create lighting effects.
The problem is that just that part was not recorded, so you will see those effects directly.
And well this has been the result, I hope you liked it and I think there is a lot of improvement.
at least in the subject of composition and selection of lights and shadows with more criteria.
Here you can see the comparison between one and the other ...
Well, I say goodbye, but not before telling you that you have all my social networks in the description
subscribe to the channel if you like the content
We'll see again in the next video!
Chau!

The Sleepover Club: Where Are They Now? - Duration: 9:35.Hey guys, it's Laura and for today's video I'm gonna be telling you where the
sleepover club are now and what they're doing in 2017. So, I used to be obsessed
with the sleepover club and I've seen so many "where are they now" from different
programmes and I never- they never ever talk about the sleepover club. There's
never been any lists about it, and I want to know where they are so I did my own
research and I'm gonna tell you. Okay, so let's start with Frankie. She was like
the main leader person of the sleepover club. She was played by Caitlin Stasey.
This is her back in 2003, when the sleepover club was out, and this is her
now. You might recognize her from the TV show "Reign" which is on Netflix, where she
plays the character Kenna. She also played Rachel Kinski in
Neighbours from 2005 to 2009. I'm probably gonna have to put up counter of how many
times someone from sleepover Club was in "Neighbours" our "Home and Away" because
there's just a lot. She currently lives in LA and apart from acting she
also is a collaborator on a feminist website where different women
participated in interviews talking about the role of women in society and
how being a woman has affected them, and each of the interviews is accompanied by
a naked picture of the person doing the interview. Caitlin did an interview
on the website herself, which included her naked photos and she said part of
the reason for doing that was that she had a fear that her nudes would be
leaked to the media someday so she thought why not put them out there
herself, which is kind of like what SIA did quite recently. She has a public
Twitter and Instagram which are linked below if you'd like to find out more
about her. Next we have Kenny who was the tomboy in the sleepover club. She was
played by Hannah Wang. This is what she looked like back in the sleepover club
days, and this is what she looks like now. She is acted in a few things since the
sleepover club and she was also a host on Rush TV. From what I can gather, she
also did a Bachelor of Arts degree and in one of the more recent things she worked
on in 2017, she was a production assistant in a short called "Her Levels
of Love". Then there is Lindz who is the twin of one of the M&Ms. Lindz was played
by Basia Ahern. This is what she looked like back in
2003, and this is what she looks like now. She's acted in a couple of TV series other than
sleepover club including out of the blue and double trouble. She hasn't seemed to
have acted in anything since 2010. Then there is Fliss, who was the kind of girly
one of the sleepover club. So Fliss was played by Ashley Chisholm. This is what
she looked like back then, and this is what she looks like now. She was in home
and away before the sleepover club, but she hasn't really
acted in that much since she was in a horror movie called submerged in 2011.
And she was also apparently in a TV commercial for McDonald's. Next we have
Rosie, who was sort of the new girl at the sleepover club. She was played by Elisa Taylor. This is what she
looked like back in 2003, and this is what she looks like now. She has been in
tons of things since the sleepover club. She was in neighbours and she's also
currently in the 100, which a lot of you may know her from. According to Twitter,
she now lives in LA. She used to have a YouTube channel where she played
original songs and her brother actually currently has a YouTube channel. She has
a public Instagram and Twitter which I'll link below if you want to find out
more about her. Next we have Matthew who is probably my favourite character in the
sleepover club. I was like in love with him when I was 12. Matthew was played by
Ryan Corr and he has acted in so many really big things since then. By the way,
this is him back then and this is him now. He was in the water diviner with
Russell Crowe in 2014, he was in Hacksaw Ridge with Andrew Garfield in 2016,
which was directed by Mel Gibson so he's worked with like loads of big names. He
was also in blue water high. He was in an episode of Neighbours like most people in
this list. I was actually researching him for like a full day and I found out way
too much.. but I couldn't find out where he lived, like what country he was based
in. No matter what I did, I couldn't find that out so it was
probably a good thing because, my obsession is too real. Oh you little
detective Laura! I'm just looking at my notes. It says here that I thought he was
still based in Australia because he's girlfriends Twitter says she lives there
and they live together, I think but also there's no evidence that she's still his
girlfriend so it's a long thing. He was also a nominee for Cleo's Bachelor of
the Year 2012 and he also got a Best Actor nomination in the 2015 Australia
Academy of Cinema and Television Awards for his role in Holding the Man. Oh, he's
getting all the awards.. and GQ Australia named him breakthrough actor of the year
last November. He is killing it. So that was the love of my life when I was 12.
Next we have Michael. Michael was played by Blake Hampson who isn't really acting
at all anymore. This was him back in the sleepover club days, and this is him now.
Since sleepover club, he was in a TV movie and another show but they were
pretty small roles. I think he's currently living in Utah and I could
probably go into more detail of where.. I literally think I could go find
him and murder him if I wanted, there's too much about him
on the internet. He needs to sort out his privacy settings. From what I can gather,
he's not acting anymore. He's doing like entrepreneurship and management or
something in business. It was a bit confusing because he kind of works in
health care in information technology, but he also does something in
entrepreneurship. So, I'm not really sure what he's doing. He apparently is in a
relationship. He likes hiking and board sports.
I found out way too much about this boy for someone who's not currently in the
public eye. He has an about me page online which tells you more about him
which I can link below. He seems to articulate things really well and seems
really like philosophical or like he really like thinks about deeply about
things. There are more things I know. I'm not gonna tell you all of them because
it's... I don't think he wants as much stuff that I could find about him out on
the internet. So, um, if you're watching this, Blake, like maybe fix your privacy
settings on Facebook and everywhere else. After that we have Marco who is played by
Stefan LaRosa. He was the last member of the M'n'Ms.
This is him back in 2003, and this is him now. I love my notes... they're so funny!
I wrote: "The only thing he was in after the sleepover club was... dun dun dun... I'll give
you a guess. Give a guess now! Write a comment below what do you think he was
in since the sleepover club?
it was Neighbours... it was Neighbours. Yeah, so he was in a 2007
episode of Neighbors where he played Sam Tyler his Facebook page is public but he
hasn't posted since 2015. He still lives in Melbourne.
I'm such a creep.. Just letting you know, this information...
There's no websites that have done things about where the people in the
sleepover club are. I'm like..seem to be the first one to do it, so, I actually
just had to be a complete stalker to find out these things. Then do you
remember Sara and Alana, who were kind of like the Mean Girls who were mean to
the sleepover club. So Sarah was played by Annalise Woods. This is her back in
the sleepover club. I don't think I could find a picture of Sara. She was only in
two things since the sleepover Club. In 2006, where she played small roles. The
girl who played Alana, which is Ashley Brewer, is acting still and she's been in
loads of things. She was in H20: Just Add Water, which a lot of people apparently
were in when I researched, and found that was another thing that a lot of people
were in from sleepover club. She also had a recurring role in Neighbours.
A bit more recently she was in a TV series called The Bold and the Beautiful.
Also, here's a weird fact: She used to share a flat in Melbourne with Margot
Robbie. You know.. the girl who plays Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. Yeah, so
Alana from sleepover club used to share a flat with Harley Quinn. That's
weird isn't it? I also researched Mr. Biceps, who was their hot teacher,
that everyone liked, and I found out that he doesn't really act anymore but he had
done casting for quite a lot of recent movies. Then we have Ryan Scott. Do you
remember Ryan Scott? This was Fliss' crush, she was obsessed with Ryan Scott.
So Ryan Scott was played by Craig Marriott.. and I'm not gonna lie to you.. I
researched a bit too much into Ryan Scott because I couldn't really find that much
and I needed to find stuff, so I did find some stuff but not a lot. So before the sleepover
Club, Ryan Scott was in the TV show flipper which also starred Jessica Alba.
He's acted in three things since the Sleepover Club and it's so annoying
because I'm trying to get a recent picture of him to show you, but the only
one I could get was from the year after the Sleepover Club, in 2004, when he was
in a movie called Rapid Fear. Then he was in the movie "Nim's Island" and he was also
in H20: Just Add Water, but in both the scenes that he was in, you barely saw
him. So, I'll do like, you can see the pictures of those parts that he was in
but you would literally....like that could be anyone. Then I thought I would
just mentioned the last two which are Calum, who was Fliss' brother in it.
I only researched him a little bit, and I found out that he also played Elliott in
H20. Then there is Molly Tan, Kenny's sister. I just wanted to find out what
she was doing now. Her real name is Hannah Ling but I couldn't find anything about
her..like anything about her other than that she played a role in "The Sleepover Club".
I looked for her on Facebook. I looked for her on LinkedIn. I looked
everywhere. She doesn't seem to exist. She obviously, probably, still does but I
couldn't find anything about her. So that's everything I found out about the
people who used to be in The Sleepover Club. If you're like me and you just
loved the Sleepover Club and you kind of just wondered what are they doing, or are
they still acting? And it's good to know that a lot of them still are and they're
doing like really well in their careers, specifically the guy who played Matthew,
the girl who played Frankie, and the girl who played Rosie are just doing so well.
Who am I missing? I feel like some else was doing really well...
Oh yeah! And Alana. I'm sorry to any of the people who acted in the Sleepover
Club who feel like I might have invaded your privacy to make this video. I tried
not to share too much that I found out because I didn't... like, if any of you
weren't currently acting or it was kind of about your personal life. I didn't
really want to share it. If you liked this video, make sure to give it a big
thumbs up and subscribe to my channel, hit the notification bell to hear when I
make new videos, which is actually every week! And today's Laura's crazy face is.....
So, I will see you next time! Bye!
but he seems pretty cool and he seems really
articulate and smart and like really like deep thinking.. what.. why.. when I say
articulate then I am not articulate any more.

The Law of One Catalysts and the Mundane - Duration: 13:36.The Law of One Catalysts and the Mundane
by Simon Esler,
If you've explored the Law of One material then the concept of a catalyst should be relatively
familiar to you.
For those of you who have not come across this material, The Law of One is a book series
by L/L Research comprised of channeled transcripts from a source calling itself Ra.
A catalyst, as it is often used in this material, can be defined as an experience or choice
within an incarnation that has the potential to accelerate or develop our spiritual polarity
in terms of negative or positive orientation.
It is often used to describe a particularly challenging circumstance that is in fact meant
to aide us in refining ourselves spiritually.
Here is a strong example from the material itself.
"Questioner: What is the plan for use of the catalyst of cancer?
Ra: I am Ra.
The catalyst, and all catalyst, is designed to offer experience.
This experience in your density may be loved and accepted or it may be controlled.
These are the two paths.
When neither path is chosen the catalyst fails in its design and the entity proceeds until
catalyst strikes it which causes it to form a bias towards acceptance and love or separation
and control."
- The Law of One, Book 2, Session 46
The idea of challenges as catalysts for spiritual growth can be a very useful perspective for
those choosing a positive spiritual orientation as it gives us motivation to take the most
difficult moments in our lives and transform them into opportunities for great progress
and expanded perspective.
It can help us lessen our resistance to what arises and work with everything as a gift.
A challenge can even be seen as a choice, in that, the Law of One material alleges we
each carefully planned very specific difficulties into our own incarnation as a way of working
through karma and improving aspects of our being that are calling for deeper work.
Ra takes our choice even further by alleging that we chose to experience creation as a
series of separations and distortions instead of experiencing complete unity directly.
"In truth there is no right or wrong.
There is no polarity for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your
dance through the mind/body/spirit complex which you amuse yourself by distorting in
various ways at this time.
This distortion is not in any case necessary.
It is chosen by each of you as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought
which binds all things."
- The Law of One, Book 1, Session 1
It is helpful, then, to apply the Law of One to the notion that all moments - be they difficult
or mundane - be considered as undifferentiated in their spiritual potential.
By this I mean we can apply oneness to the very concept of life as swinging pendulum
between a series of catalysts, so that we can experiment with taking ourselves into
an even deeper understanding of unity.
From the perspective of life as a series of spaced out catalysts we may see ourselves
as moving in and out of moments that are more or less meaningful to our spiritual progress.
For example we lose our job, things get progressively financially difficult until we find a new
job and things calm down.
We enjoy the comfort of new employment and a healthier bank account until...our dog dies
two weeks later.
It may seem from this example that the intensity of losing our job is something dense with
an opportunity for wisdom which then dissipates until we arrive upon the loss of our pet.
It may seem that the in-between, the space between these experiences, is less dense in
what it has to offer us.
As another example, after experiencing the intensity of a catalyst, like getting into
a fender bender on the way home, we arrive upon moments that seem more mundane and less
relevant, like arriving home after the accident and having to do the dishes.
What can often happen when we perceive a moment or experience as less than, or merely a background
event to the ever important catalyst, is that we settle into our social programming and
unconscious, personal habits.
From this state we tend to lose the heightened conscious awareness that the intensity of
a perceived catalyst beckons and which so often leads to self mastery.
The truth is that every moment in this life is precious and bursting with spiritual potential.
The criticism here is not that there is something flawed with the application of life as a movement
from catalyst to catalyst, but that our social programming tends to create habits in which
we become forgetful of the miraculous nature of each moment.
We tend to take our moments and categorize them via an unhelpful duality of being more
or less relevant to our life path.
The Law of One teaching on catalysts is certainly not meant to encourage that we disregard any
of life's moments, but rather to support us in facing what is difficult with more heart.
But as this high vibrational teaching is stepped down into our daily human experience it can
become distorted by the lens of duality the permeates this reality.
Here is one instance in which the Law of One material points to the catalytic nature of
all moments:
"All that assaults your senses is catalyst.
We, in speaking to this support group through this instrument, offer catalyst.
The configurations of each in the group of body offer catalyst through comfort/discomfort.
In fact all that is unprocessed that has come before the notice of a mind/body/spirit complex
is catalyst."
- The Law of One, Book 4, Session 93
Important in this statement is the notion that moments with clear catalysts are one
with the moments that appear to have none at all.
This separation, like all notions of separation according to the LoO, is an illusion.
The moment in which we experience the fender bender is as sacred and meant to help us evolve
as the moment in which we're washing our dishes.
If we take the time to observe the heart and courage that arises when we transform a particularly
difficult experience in our lives into something beautiful and full of wisdom we can see that
our capacity to transform our experience on this planet is immense.
A mere shifting of our perspective has an incredible metaphysical impact.
This capacity is why it is rare to see someone emerge from overcoming something like cancer
as less wise and compassionate or more materialistic and attached to what is temporary.
We tend to rediscover what is sacred when we commit to what challenges us and this is
one of the most laudable qualities of human beings.
If all is one then, even though we can say we face a series of marked catalysts in this
life, we can also say that the moments in between perceived catalysts, the mundane,
the habitual, the social defaults are themselves some of the most important catalysts in our
lives.
A moment in which we are tempted to become slightly less conscious is in fact a very
subtle catalyst, especially if it encourages us to operate under the bias that purpose
and meaning within our lives are things that come and go.
One might even argue that catalysts which exist as more subtle and hard to perceive
are more difficult in that they can become invisible and thus can go undealt with throughout
an entire incarnation.
So what does this ability look like when it is stationed within the mundane?
Can we catch those moments in our lives where we have imagined that we have stepped away
from the sacred?
Can we see where we have falsely come to believe that we don't need to apply our transformative
abilities because of a feeling that we are engaging something to "get past" on the way
to the "real" meaningful things awaiting us in another moment?
In my experience with applying this expanded perspective I have found that what is different
about transforming the mundane moments (like cleaning my cat's litter box) from transforming
the overt challenges that arise (like sending my cat in for dangerous surgery), is that
transforming the mundane is actually a very light, subtle practice.
It becomes more about settling into the mundane by allowing it to be as sacred as it already
is and this is actually a very gentle gesture.
It does not involve the intensity of trying to find the gift within something like facing
sickness or abuse.
I would describe the feeling of this practice as not so much actively transforming the mundane
but very softly removing our interference so that the moment's true nature can blossom
before us.
We are often very hard in ourselves within the context of trying to progress spiritually.
When we are within the space of the mundane, making our bed, brushing our teeth, cleaning
our home, we may be looping in our heads about the most recent catalyst impacting us or those
that we perceive to be on our horizon.
We fail to see how healing our time within the mundane can be.
We sometimes miss the extent to which the mundane is a place where the sacred is being
offered to us in a very soft, accessible way.
It can be a time for us to settle into our ability to bring beauty into humanity's turmoil.
With many of us being hard on ourselves to spiritually "make the cut," dropping the bias
that some moments have more spiritual meaning than others becomes a great act of kindness
towards ourselves.
What if we recall this kindness on a daily, moment to moment basis?
Remembering this when we are tempted to default into the notion that we are killing time,
or moving through one of life's boring obligations, can become very healing and has the potential
to contribute to this great awakening in ways that just may surprise us!
We often talk about the power of mass meditation, and rightly so, but imagine the impact we
could have if every person cleaning the dishes right now was in a state of peace and gratitude?
What would the impact on the collective be if millions of the humans who brush their
teeth every day were in a heart centered state of divine purpose?
How many opportunities like this pass us by every day?
We are all ensconced in the mundane every single day, so why not uplift it to its true
sacred nature as a form of service?
We would all do well to recognize that while things like circles, ceremonies and shared
rituals are indeed supportive on our spiritual journey, they are not indicators that moments
which fall outside of these boundaries are any less sacred.
Similarly, as more and more people pierce the veil of consensus reality via experiences
like perceiving auras and orbs, or having contact with non-terrestrial beings, we must
not lose our sense of the sacred through glimpsing the shape of a leaf on a tree or folding our
laundry.
As we expand together, uniting the importance of these seemingly opposite experiences will
become more and more important.
Perhaps a more helpful perspective is that within each incarnation we are in a constant
stream of catalysts that vary in how easily their importance is perceived.
Some are more gross and in your face and some are subtle and more difficult to comprehend,
in terms of how they may be challenging our spiritual nature.
From this way of seeing we begin to understand that we are moving within a flow of experiences
that demand a fluid mastery of our transformative abilities.
We learn to apply our natural ability to reveal the sacred in the way that is best suited
to each moment as it arises.
We start to sense the difference between discovering the sacred through uplifting the experience
of breaking a bone or losing a friend versus transforming the experience of cleaning our
bathroom or waiting for the bus.
What begins to emerge is that these different applications of the same practice begin to
support each other.
The moment we embody the idea that this broken bone is a beautiful gift of wisdom arising
as a life experience we truly needed we strengthen our trust in what life is offering us.
It brings us closer to an unconditional trust in life's unfolding so that when we are on
our knees scrubbing the grime off our bathtub, the undercurrent of the sacred can blossom
here as well.
This happens the other way around also.
As you uplift the moments that your social conditioning says have less meaning and purpose,
your resiliency to perform this practice when life's challenges become more obvious is boosted.
This way we begin to integrate a more high vibrational perspective into our natural state
of being.
The sacred is awaiting us constantly, quietly shining beneath the invisible misperceptions
we carry.
When we are mindlessly scrolling our newsfeed, it is there.
When we are fighting with a loved one, it is there.
You are one with the sacredness that surrounds you.
Therefore to be yourself is to become the sacred by allowing it to be revealed within
each circumstance you encounter.
Water does not become less itself when it moves from the crashing of a waterfall to
the quiet trickle of a stream.
May we all find our fluid nature in the same way as we move through the variety of this
life's experiences.

PUSHING YOUR COMFORT ZONE, Green River, Utah - PART 1 - My New Devinci Wilson - Duration: 10:16.Alex, Wesley and I made some plans go down to Utah, to watch Rampage and do some riding while we were there.
So we packed up, stuffed my bike in the trunk and went to Utah
I just bought my Wilson one week before this trip and with all the rain in the Fraser Valley
This was my first chance to ride my new bike
Our first destination was Green River, a very small town with some nearby riding spots
Alright! Sending it on my new bike
Oh weird little jump. Oh yeah, that's actually really weird.
Here we go, roll in
OH SH*T
That was insane I overshot the sh*t out of that thing! That was inane!
Whoa! I didn't think I was going so fast
I don't even know how that happened
Whoa! Ah, hit that weird huh? I was like going too slow
Nice
Where are we going, up there?
There are lots of really cool lines to ride, a lot of which were featured in mountain bike films you may have seen.
It was really exciting to be in such a unique place
The dirt was very different from what I'm used to, it was all soft and dry, and everything was just completely open
All right, sweet!
yeah, how was that?
I want to uh, try this thing too
Were you like right here?
It's cool, I slapped the front end down though, I didn't do it very smoothly
Hiking up this hill is the worst! We did it three times, that was more than enough.
Whoa, dude, sick!
Oh baby
Oooohhh the speed!
Jordan, are you ok?
I think so
That really was quite the crash, thankfully myself and the bike were okay
But being my first day in Utah and on my new bike did not feel good. It really dampened my spirits
I was feeling down, and I just wasn't sure if I could ride confidently after that.
I know like I was kind of keeping it careful on some parts and other parts I was letting off the brakes a bit.
But yeah, then I just like, I couldn't turn I went right into the rough stuff, and like what do you do?
I knew I wanted to get my Redemption
But, before that had to warm up again on familiar features, and just take things a bit easier
That felt bigger than before for some reason.
So we hiked all the way back up and we did it again
Oh it's so dusty!
Dude, that gets sketch ville
That was so sketchy oh
Oh, cuz I just couldn't see the pathway on the ground
Yeah, dude, I was like scared man. I definitely went slower that run. I just needed to make it down in one piece
Just so I could help get my mind back in the game
Okay
Send it J-dog!
All right
By the end of the day I had mostly regained my confidence again, but I'm just really sick of making stupid decisions,
so I definitely had to go forward with more caution.
Ya that was a bit sketchy
Yeah
Thank you guys for watching

Should You Take a Break or Push Through? - Duration: 7:01.Okay my fellow entrepreneurs, let's be real. We all do a whole lot of things we
don't feel like doing, am i right? After all, that's what separates the successful
from the people who struggle, you know? We do what we got to do no matter what,
whether we feel like it or like it or not, am i right? Give me a thumbs up if
you know what I'm talking about. But you know what? The truth is sometimes we
actually need to take a break and the question is how do you know the
difference between when you need to just suck it up and push through and when
it's really time to take a break.
Hey there i'm Nafissa Shireen and welcome to Living Forward TV. We help you to
create a thriving business you absolutely love all around your personal
freedom and each week we bring you extra resources that you can download and use
in your business right away so that you can get results faster. You know what's a
total total buzzkill when it comes to freedom? Burnout. So make sure to grab our
download this week because I go over the 10 signs you need to look for that tell
you when it's time to take a break. If you're an entrepreneur then you know
that you're going to have to do things that you don't really want to do.
Sometimes things you don't feel like doing and sometimes it's things you
don't even have the energy to do. It might be things like picking up the
phone, or writing one more email, attending a networking event,
implementing a new technology, and that list can go on and on and on. And you
know what? Too bad if you don't like it, right? I mean if you're committed to your
business if you're gonna do what it takes. You're gonna do what it takes to
succeed, it doesn't matter how unenjoyable it is or how quite frankly
how tired and cranky you are, the truth is usually when you're tired or not
feeling energized it's really just your subconscious mind looking for a way to
rationalize not taking action and you really don't want to let that win.
As Napoleon Hill says in "Think and Grow Rich" it's a burning desire that's the
starting point of all achievement. And when you have a burning desire, that
means you'll do whatever it takes, even if it's uncomfortable or unpleasant, and
you know what else? Sometimes doing what it takes
means you need to listen to your body and you need to take a break. You see,
there is a huge difference between pushing through temporary discomfort and
working past the point of effectiveness and the question is how do you know the
difference? I need to give you a couple of examples. Now if you just can't
stomach another rubber chicken luncheon networking, right, you know where you're
trading business cards and you're hearing one elevator pitch after another,
and you're still trying to go through yours in your head and you're feeling
like tired and drained just thinking about it and you think to yourself: "You
know, I think I'm just gonna stay in tonight"
well that's likely your subconscious mind trying to find a way out for you.
But if you're emotionally exhausted, you're on the verge of tears, and
anything could set you off, and you're just ready to rip someone's head off at
the first sight, then you actually do need a night off. Or maybe you have a
project or campaign coming up and you're tired and crabby and you'd rather read a
book or watch a movie or go out with friends for a drink and so you tell
yourself: "You know what? The break's gonna do me some good"
when you actually know the truth is that the break is just a way to distract
yourself and it will delay you more, that's when you need to really, quite
frankly just suck it up and get it done. But if you're working, just wanting to
get it done but you can't concentrate and tasks are taking three to four times
as long as they should and your mind is wandering all over the place, then that's
a good sign that you need to go to bed. You see when you're no longer effective
and you're making mistakes and a 10-minute task takes hours, it's a
really good indication that your body and your mind needs a break. No matter
how much you love your business you can't keep creating and you cannot be
effective when you're running on empty. Taking space for yourself really gives
you time for reflection and for pause. There's a great article in science daily
and I'm gonna link to it below in the show notes so you can read it and it
shows a lot about how your brain works and it shows how your brain actually
stops registering a sight, sound, or feeling when it's faced with a constant
stimulus. So what does that mean in other words? The longer you work at something,
the more ineffective you become. And if you resist taking a break when you
really really need one, you know because you feel guilty or you think you're on a
roll, it's gonna take you way more time and you're just not gonna deliver the
quality of work that you're capable of. And how long a break you need, I mean it
really depends on you if you've been running on empty for a really really
long time then there's a chance you may need a good few days off. And by time
off I don't mean half working, half doing other things. I mean completely unplugged,
completely away. You see, during periods of intense focus your brain can't
actually process any new ideas or make new connections. It can
only work with what you already have, but when you let your mind wander and relax
you'll find that you have flashes of inspiration that just like pop out of
nowhere. I know for me some of my best ideas will pop into my head when I'm
grooming or spending time with my horse. It's really cool actually and that's
where I do a lot of my thinking. And taking a break also will recharge your
batteries your physical batteries and your energetic levels. You know, the thing
is you may not want to take a whole lot of time off, but if you proactively work
breaks and downtime into your schedule such as a 10-minute break every 90
minutes or no working after 5:00 p.m. or you prioritize physical activity and
moving your body, you'll find that overall you're more relaxed you're more
productive, you're more energized, and you really don't need to take those big
breaks away. But from time to time it's inevitable that a moment will hit you
where you've really gone past the point of effectiveness and being committed to
your business and having a burning desire to make it happen and do what it
takes means you'll take a needed break and
remember to grab our handout today because I go over with you the ten signs
that will tell you when it's actually time to take a break. If you found

Audio govorilki - Duration: 3:39.Then I had another idea, or rather, the continuation of the already mentioned ideas about audiobooks, but we all probably don't discover America - we just show each other a convenient way to them :-) The message is: It all started when I had to work and asked my daughter to read her a story. And then I remembered the "talking stick", which has long wanted to try, but all it once. Went to vector-ski.ru/vecs/index.htm downloaded, put. With the settings had no problems, however, with text-speech engines I've been experimenting. However, on the website everything is clearly written. Then I went to the library to Moshkovo (lib.ru), download Andersen's fairy tales, ran the program and all the child sits with an open mouth! Of course, the pronunciation is not perfect, but given that it is not necessary to strain - the result is more than satisfactory. Later, after putting my daughter to bed, I launched James bond and began poking around in the settings. Finding the program is the ability to record sound to mp3, I remembered that I had read the idea of audiobooks - Audiobooks. Mechanics is clear: the text in the Game - mp3 to disk. Where is there business, you ask? Currently disk mp3 players have become commonplace, and for many stereos have this feature, but the main goal is to motorists. Now, there are many radios, "understanding mp3", and where there is such a need in an interesting interlocutor, not like driving? Besides, some of the extremeness of the situation as if "excuse" of small defects of the play, although they can be avoided by working on a dictionary program (ask the stress in words that are pronounced incorrectly, etc.). About the production of discs and their marketing has been written so that makes no sense to repeat, although the difference between the average price of a CD (70-90 rubles) and the price of blanks (10 p, and even cheaper) is obvious. The main cost is the promotion of a new product, and the ambush - the ease of copying your products. You can try to exchange the disks (twice listening to this CD wanting to be a little, it's not music) or to negotiate with the exchange. Everything will depend on the "repertoire" that much to offer. N. F. I think this invention will not appeal to as many motorists as students of humanitarian Universities and high school students. No need to read a textbook or literary work (which you should read). You can just put the disc and listen to it in a comfortable setting - in a café in the stadium, on a walk with a girl. You don't even have to listen to the speaker. Will listen to the subconscious. But the subconscious is a powerful thing (read John Kehoe "Subconscious can do anything!"), save in extreme circumstances, the exam or set-off (in addition, allows to achieve incredible success in cultivation). For students, you can collect a whole library and re-earn on rental discs.

Currently Reading | November 2017 - Duration: 9:23.Hi everyone it's Lauren, I hope that you are well. Normally at this time of the
month I would be doing a reading wrap up video where I'm going to review all of the
books that I've read in the month of November, but I really have just have not
been reading very much this month at all and what I have read I've kind of picked
up and put down and started and stopped and started again. So what I thought I
would do is just do a general reading update video and let you know the one
book that I have read and where I am in the other books that I'm half way
through at the moment. So let's start with the success story for November and
that is the Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead, now this is a really
interesting book and I don't really know what I was expecting but wherever they
were my expectations were defied by this book, This is the story of a runaway
slave called Cora and it talks about the Underground
Railroad which was a network connecting its loads in the south to freedom in the
north in this book however the Underground Railroad is depicted as an
actual factual railroad, steam engines going through tunnels underground so
it's quite interesting it's not quite magical realism because it's not magical
but it's almost a mythical look at slavery in general and different slaves'
experiences, and then also the different experiences of escape and the different
characters who would be helping slaves escape the different attitudes towards
slavery in the whole of the United States during this period. So where
the imagination of this novel verges on fact I'm not quite sure and I quite
liked that aspect of it because it's it's almost just an examination, it's not
it doesn't have to be based in fact for the emotions of the book to be truthful
But despite how unconventional this book is you still really get behind the
emotions the psyches and the motives of the slaves, slave catchers and slave
owners in this, you get quite a broad spectrum of people so definitely
definitely an interesting one. From my most successful read of this month to
the least successful read, I started and then gave up on Catch-22 by Joseph
Heller which was a pick for the book club that I have with my friends and I
was really looking forward to reading this book because it's one of those
classics that you hear so much about and I never actually felt the need to
pick it up. I have a feeling that this book would be an amazing film and I
understand why this book is so famous but that doesn't make it any less
difficult to read.Tthis is about a collection of pilots in World War two
who are stationed in Italy and it is just so bizarre, it's a massive cast of
characters and really the first half of the book I think, I think I got to about
just over a third in to be fair but at least the first third of the book, was
just introducing new characters and it's very abstract, I was reminded...it felt
like I was inside a Monty Python sketch or Spike Milligan or something like that
it's very odd. The humour is there you can see that
it's very funny in its absurdity but then that that does make it quite
difficult to read and it's quite a long book so you know after about 150 pages I
just kind of thought I'm not gonna finish this. I'm very pleased that I
started reading it though and I feel like I kind of get what people are
talking about with Catch-22, I still would read the film. I would love to hear
from you if you've read it because I feel like it's one of those books that a
lot of people struggle with and everyone are in our book club found it like very
difficult even the people that finished it they were like yeah I finished it but
you know it was a slog! So aside from those two I'm currently in the middle of
four books and the first of these is The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan. This
is very pleasant, I'm not very far through it at the moment but it's one of
those very accessible quite commercial reads but it's still very well written
and so it's thoroughly enjoyable this is about an old man called Anthony I think
yes Anthony, who has spent his life collecting at lost objects, things that
he's found that other people have lost and he hires an assistant Laura and then
when he dies he kind of leaves all of these lost items to her, so how I feel
this is going to play out inthe rest of the novel is that she's going to try
and reunite people with these things, I don't know, but he's also written kind of
little short stories about the different items where he imagines who the owners
might be and how they might have been lost so it's quite an interesting book
lots of different styles lots of different little everyday very English
plots and yeah so far enjoying it as I say.
I'm also reading The Book of Dust by Philip Pullman. I really really loved the
His Dark Materials trilogy when it came out when when I was growing up and I
read, I've reread them I think it was either last Christmas it actually might have
been the Christmas before I reread them and it's just so nice to be immersed
back in that world and that's how I'm feeling with this. This is a prequel to
that series and it follows kind of the lead up and so Lyra who is our main
character in His Dark Materials if you haven't read it this takes place when
she's a baby and it's about kind of all of the events and all the political
maneuverings that were happening up until that point. I am about I think 150
oh no, I've read more than that, I'm 236 pages in and I'm just kind of reading it
as and when, because it's quite a big book this is too big for my handbag
definitely so I'm reading it at home and when I'm in the mood for it and it's
just nice it's really nice to dip in. It's a children's book so it's easy to
read, it's a world and a universe that I love being part of, so nothing
more to report really as yet but it just feels like feels like a bit
of a warm hug I think, reading this book. Something that is the opposite of a warm
hug and I have been reading it for a few months now and I think I'm just gonna
have to give it up and say okay I'm gonna stop reading this is Feminist
Futures, now this is a collection of essays all about women, culture and
development in the third world and on the surface I thought this is going to
be really, really interesting. The problem with this collection is that it's much
much more academic than I realized and academic in terms of Development
Studies which I was unaware of and didn't realize was a thing, and it's lots of
essays written by lots of different people about different parts of the
world and the main arguments in most of the essays I really agree with and
thought was interesting and they're trying to show that you can't just put
your own values for your own society on a completely different culture, and if
you see a country, a culture where women are not as equal to men of which they
are in many places of the world, you can't just put Western values on top of
that culture and send women to work and send them to school and be like right
okay we're done now you're all equal because that society has its own set of
rules in its own set of values and you have to empower those women
to bring themselves up within the social norms of their society, so
that's interesting. The way is written is so, so dense and so academic and I'm sure
if you're someone who studies these kind of policies you would find that very
interesting and very helpful. For a layman it just wasn't there, so I'm
although about halfway through I'm probably not gonna pick this up again
which is a shame. And finally something that I've only picked up the other day
but I'm already about halfway through it so I must be enjoying it and that is
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. Now this is about a woman
who is incredibly lonely and isolated, so she does go to work but she doesn't
really talk to her co-workers, she finds other people very difficult to
understand, it's very difficult for her done to communicate with people on the same
level and it's about her just going about her life and but we also
on reading this know that there's something awful which has happened in her past but
we don't know about that and she also then sees a musician on
stage one night falls in love with him and decides right he's the person for me
so gets to the point where she's kind of borderline stalking him. So that's
the crux of the novel, it's very interesting because it you have so much
empathy for Eleanor because she is so lonely but also so socially unable to
get out of that and she did not understand, she doesn't really understand
why she's different she doesn't understand how modern society works or
how it functions really and she doesn't really see that she's outside of the
norm she sees that other people are odd. I do want to see what's going on in her past
though because there's some elements of this book which are quite interesting
and it's a bit odd the way it's all handled so I kind of want to wait 'til
the end of the book and see kind of how Eleanor is going to emerge to me as a 3D
person because at the moment she's a bit of a caricature, but also it's quite
funny as well it's one of these things where someone's idiosyncrasies are quite
endearing so I'm interested to see where we go with that and when we're going to
kind of find out more about her. But so far, yeah enjoying it. Loving it. So I
would love to know what you've been reading in November
I hope that you've finished more than one book although it is obviously about
quality and not about quantity and it's about, you know, enjoying your reads so I
hope that you've been reading some good stuff do you give me some
recommendations below I love to hear what you've all been reading I'd also
like to hear any thoughts that you have on the books that I'm currently reading
and I will see you in my next video, bye!
