North Korea releases dozens of photos of newly developed Hwasong-15 ICBM - Duration: 1:00.

Let's start with the first pictures of the ICBM North Korea launched on Wednesday...

The regime released the photos of the Hwasong-15 through its state media this morning.

North Korea's Rodong Sinmun and Korean Central News Agency revealed roughly 40 photos of

before, during and after the missile test.

While the Hwasong-15 is believed to be an upgraded version of the Hwasong-14 launched

in July,... the front part of Hwasong-15 is relatively round-shaped and blunt compared

to the Hwasong-14.

Also revealed is a nine-wheeled transporter erector launcher... that Pyongyang claims

to have newly developed.

The photos also show Kim Jong-un overseeing the test with his close aides,... monitoring

the flight data and celebrating the successful launch.

Advanced Poi Choreography Combo: November 2017 - Duration: 5:21.

Hey gang!

Drex here from DrexFactor.com dropping my second combo tutorial on you for the month

of November!

Awesome!

This combo is going to be another advanced one with lots of rapid transitions between

tricks and even a little bit of dance thrown in.

Fun challenge!

You up for it?

To get this combo you'll need the following tricks under your belt: opposite antispin

flowers, Wall Plane Flowers, Split-time opposite antispin flowers, Zan's Diamond in split-time

opposites, stalls, and 4-beat corkscrews.

Wow that's a lot!

You can find links to a playlist of all these tutorials down in the description of this

video or up in the cards if you happen to be watching this video on YouTube.

Before we dive in, I just want to take a moment to give a shout out to the friends of the

channel!

Big thanks to Dark Monk, Emazing Lights, Flowtoys, Spinballs, and Ultra Poi for helping to make

the videos on this channel possible.

You can visit them all on the web by following the links down in the description of this

video.

This first part goes super fast and involves a lot of changes.

We start out with our arms to the sides and feet together.

Step your left foot out to the side and do opposite antispin flowers with petals down

and across before doing antispin versus extension hybrid for a quarter of a circle.

From here we want to jump into split-opposite antispin flowers for petals out to the side,

top, and other side with our right foot kicking over to touch our left when both poi are off

to the right.

From here we are going to jump into Zan's Diamond in split-time opposites.

We're going to go across, right up, left up, and both hands to the left.

It looks like this.

Now we switch back into our split time opposites flower by having the right hand go up and

stalling both poi out to the right as we do this the left foot reaches over to touch the

right and then opens out again.

As we stall the poi, sweep both hands and poi down and around to your left, stalling

them up and as you do so you're going to do a little bit of a jump where you're going

to fling your feet out horizontally, essentially like you're throwing them out like a frisbee.

Like so.

As you come to rest, allow the two poi to come to a stall down over to your left hand

side.

Tap your right foot to your left and reach it back out again as your right hand goes

up and over to stall out to your right.

Step back with your left leg behind your right and use your momentum to start a 4-beat corkscrew

faced away from the audience.

Let the poi come to rest towards your right and step forward with your right foot.

Your entire body should melt down facing stage right.

Straighten your torso out tall and proud and let your two poi stall out with the left hand

in front and right hand in back.

This next part is going to be tricky: you're going to do an outside pirouette.

Start by moving your left hand back and your right hand forward, putting both hands above

your head as you do so.

You'll do half a corkscrew with the poi as they come together.

Touch your left foot to your right knee and spot around to your left.

Your body should untwist and the poi come to a rest in front of you.

You're going to take a step forward with your left foot and then with your right and

you're done.

Good lord.

So all together then, that's opposite antispin down, across.

Wall plane hybrid, split opposite antispin, Zan's Diamond, back to the split-time antispin.

Stall.

Swing around and jump.

And stall down.

Kick out that right foot.

And step back around, doing a corkscrew.

Melting down and bring your head up, your poi out.

Do the pirouette around and let the poi come to a rest as you step forward with your right.

Let's see that again in slow-mo.

Yeah...I know this one's a lot.

It's very fast and it incorporates a lot of both very difficult tricks as well as body

movement.

If you can do this, though, I think you can probably pull off nearly any tech poi combo

out there.

You can show me your version of this pattern by shooting video and posting it to Instagram

with the hashtag #drexfactorpoi.

Be on the lookout next month: I've got a very special plan in mind for December's

Combo!

Bank of Korea lifts key rate to 1.5% for November - Duration: 2:22.

South Korea's central bank has hiked the benchmark interest rate... ending its wait-and-see approach

to determine if the local economy could withstand the move.

But as our Kim Ji-yeon reports, the rate increase could exacerbate the country's massive household

debt problem.

The Bank of Korea raised the benchmark interest rate by a quarter-of-a-percentage-point to

1-point-5-percent,... the first rate hike in six years and five months.

It puts an end to the record low key rate of one-point-two-five percent that the BOK

has been maintaining since June last year.

The bank's rate hike decision comes despite heightened geopolitical tensions stemming

from North Korea's recent missile test earlier this week.

The decision to raise rates is mainly attributed to the fast recovery pace of the South Korean

economy and takes into account various external factors including mounting expectations that

the U.S. Federal Reserve will raise rates again in December.

South Korea's GDP growth in the third quarter of this year grew at the fast pace of 1-point-4-percent

on booming exports,... and consumer sentiment reached its highest level in almost seven

years in November... as relations between South Korea and China improved.

Despite the optimism projected by Korea's central bank, local experts raised concerns

that the rate hike would increase the burden of the one-point-three-trillion U.S. dollar

household debt... since it would severely affect homeowners' ability to repay their

debts and raise the risk of people defaulting on their housing loans.

(Korean ) "Despite the series of government measures

that were unveiled earlier this year, the increase in Korea's household debt is showing

no signs of waning.

A rate hike could put a strain to those who have to pay more in interest payments,...

which means less spending power and thus, prolonging sluggish domestic consumption."

( ... .)

The expert said now the focus is on how fast the BOK will raise rates again next year...

which is expected to depend on the recovery pace of the local economy, housing market

trends and further rate hikes from the U.S. Federal Reserve.

Last month, the BOK said it projected Asia's fourth-largest economy to grow 2-point-9-percent

next year.

UN Security Council convenes again after another North Korean missile provocation - Duration: 2:47.

An emergency meeting of the UN Security Council was convened in New York on Wednesday... in

reaction to North Korea's ballistic missile launch.

The United States is calling for more sanctions, including cutting off the regime's oil supply.

And even if there is no new UN resolution, further unilateral sanctions by Washington

are said to be in the works.

Kwon Jang-ho has the details.

The United Nations Security Council roundly condemned North Korea's latest missile provocations,

but it was the U.S. ambassador who came out the strongest.

(English) AP "The dictator of North Korea made a choice

yesterday that brings the world closer to war, not farther from it.

We have never sought war with North Korea and still today we do not seek it.

If war does come, it will be because of continued acts of aggression like we witnessed yesterday.

And if war comes, make no mistake, the North Korean regime will be utterly destroyed."

The U.S. ambassador called for all nations to fully implement UN sanctions on North Korea

and cut off all diplomatic ties.

But she also suggested additional moves, such as taking away the regime's voting powers

at the UN... and cutting off oil.

On that last suggestion, Haley pointed out that China was North Korea's biggest supplier

of oil, and said that in fact, President Trump had asked China's President Xi to turn off

the taps to the regime.

China's ambassador meanwhile urged North Korea to comply with UN resolutions, and advocated

dialogue between all relevant parties.

Russia placed some responsibility on South Korea and the U.S, calling on the two nations

to refrain from carrying out any more joint military drills for the rest of the year,

saying it could "inflame an already explosive situation."

(Russian) AP "We have stated more than once that these

kinds of moves are not only an irritant but overall undermine the military balance in

the region and also threaten the security of neighboring states."

Whether the UN Security Council will take up a new resolution or sanctions remains unclear.

President Trump has* called for more sanctions.

Earlier on Wednesday, he tweeted that he had spoken to Chinese President Xi Jinping...

and that, quote, "additional major sanctions will be imposed on North Korea today," adding

"this situation will be handled " U.S. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, said

later that a number of options for sanctions were being explored, including hitting some

financial institutions.

Although he did not specify a timeline, he said the Treasury Department will make an

announcement when the sanctions are ready to be rolled out.

About 200 Korean tourists stranded in Bali to travel by ferry and buses - Duration: 2:13.

The Korean government is sending a rescue plane to the Indonesian resort island of Bali

to start bringing back several thousand Korean nationals stranded there,... with international

airports closed over a potential volcanic eruption.

The first rescue plane will leave at around 3-P.M this afternoon.

Won Jung-hwan reports.

There are powerful and continuous tremors... and black volcanic ash is spewing into the

atmosphere.

Indonesian officials fear Bali's Mount Agung is on the verge of a full-scale eruption,...

and local residents and journalists within ten kilometers of the volcano were told by

authorities to evacuate.

(INDONESIAN)

"Yes I'm worried for sure but I want to get my stuff from my home, just for a while."

Bali's main airport, Denpasar International Airport, remained closed for nearly three

consecutive days,... leaving some 60-thousand travelers stranded.

Officials had originally extended the closure of Bali's main gateway for another 24 hours,....

but they reopened the airport as ash from Mount Agung shifted away from the transportation

hub and authorities downgraded their aviation warning to 'orange', the second most serious

level.

President Moon Jae-in, during a National Security Council meeting on Wednesday morning, urged

his staff to do everything they can to ensure the safety of Koreans in the area.

(KOREAN) "President Moon Jae-in asked Foreign Affairs

Minister Kang Kyung-hwa, to take active measures, including sending chartered airplane to secure

safe passage for Korean residents and tourists in Bali, stranded by the eruption."

Korea's embassy in Indonesia has drawn up measures to ensure the safety of Korean citizens

on Bali,... by providing alternative transportation, including ferries and buses, to help 200 Korean

tourists make the 12 to 13 hour journey from Bali to Juanda Airport on Indonesia's Java

Island.

Meanwhile, Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced it will use a chartered plane on

Thursday to take 273 Korean nationals still stranded in Bali to Surabaya Airport in East

Java.

Cold wave across country _ 113017 - Duration: 1:59.

Good afternoon.

A cold snap has gripped the nation.

Here in Seoul,... we will only get up to 3 degrees Celsius,... while Daejeon and Daegu

will top out at 8 degrees this afternoon with cold wave alerts in some central regions.

Not too surprising because since November 15th we've only had a couple days with temperatures

above the seasonal averages..so for the last two days we've been shivering under exceptionally

cold temperatures.

And today's no different.

The cold wave across the country is likely to intensify .... so it's best if you stay

bundled up... it's going to be a cold start to December.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

While cold temperatures have gripped much of South Korea under sunny skies, North Korea

will have colder temperatures with highs in the negative territory even in the afternoon.

As for major cities in Asia,..people in New Delhi will continue to suffer from toxic smog.

Meanwhile, it's going to be another scorcher in Melbourne...but Australia's record breaking

heat is about to give way to flooding...with storms set to dump downpours over the next

few days, starting tomorrow...

Heading to North America, single digit morning lows in New York and Washington DC will rise

to the teens in the afternoon under mostly sunny skies.

As for South America, those in Bogota will need to keep an umbrella handy as it will

be rainy through Sunday.

Taking you to Europe,... sunny, cloudy skies to snow are on tap depending on the region.

Lastly to Africa, strong gusty winds in Cape Town will continue into Thursday.

That's all the weather update for now.

EU condemns North Korea's missile launch - Duration: 1:44.

The European Union has joined the chorus of global condemnation of North Korea's missile

launch,... describing it as a grave threat to international security.

The member nations are calling for stronger sanctions and pressure against the regime.

Russia has also spoken out,... calling Pyongyang's provocation destabilizing.

Our Kim Hyo-sun tells us more.

North Korea's launch of its Hwasong-15 ICBM was swiftly denounced by the European community.

Russia's presidential spokesman also described the missile test as a provocation.

(RUSSIAN) - "The missile launch is a provocative action

that foments further tensions and puts off the launch of efforts to settle the crisis

situation."

He called on Pyongyang to stop its nuclear and missile tests,... while urging South Korea

and the United States to halt their joint air force drill scheduled for next month in

order to prevent a worst scenario on the Korean Peninsula.

The members of the European Union are also deeply concerned.

France reiterated the need to intensify sanctions and pressure against the regime,... with its

leader taking to Twitter to say the solidarity of the international community has become

much stronger in pressuring the North.

Stating that stronger pressure is needed,... Germany said it would summon North Korea's

ambassador.

Italy's Foreign Minister also joined international condemnation,... stressing that it's necessary

to expel the North Korean ambassador to Italy.

The London-based International Maritime Organization also urged the North to stop firing missiles

towards the sea routes,... as they pose a serious threat to the safety of its members.

Kim Hyo-sun, Arirang News.
