3 Colognes That GUARANTEE Compliments | Men's Perfume Recs From Jeremy Fragrance & RMRS - Duration: 6:06.

3 Fragrances That Will Get You LOTS of Compliments [0:00:00]

Antonio: All right, guys, I've got Jeremy of Jeremy Fragrance here and we're talking

about three fragrances that are going to get you compliments.

[Music] Okay, Jeremy.

So, let's jump into it.

What do you got?

Jeremy: First of all, you have to know all these fragrances that you see in my back are

all superstars.

I had over one thousand fragrances.

They were already preselected after testing it several times in stores or via small samples.

Antonio: And now, you've come down to three.

Jeremy: Yeah.

Antonio: Which you think these are easy for guys to find.

Jeremy: Definitely.

Antonio: And when they wear this, they're going to get tons of compliments.

Jeremy: Definitely.

First of all, this one is unpopular.

Antonio: Okay.

Jeremy: This one is called Givenchy Pi Neo and this is popular if you know the fragrance

that it smells similar to which is Armani Code.

This has two advantages over Armani Code besides smelling almost the same.

It lasts easy double the time.

It also is less expensive in terms of 50% less expensive.

Antonio: Okay.

Jeremy: So, many people also don't want to spend a lot of money, so this one is a

cheap one, this is middle expensive, and this is an expensive fragrance, all will get you

compliments.

This is very creative.

Antonio: Very clean.

Jeremy: Yeah.

Antonio: Ah, summer.

Great fragrance.

Jeremy: Summer.

Sparkling summer.

Antonio: Yeah.

Jeremy: It also has anise note which is licorice.

It's what makes this fragrance very creative smelling and it's also the magical note

of Armani Code.

This can be used mainly in the spring summer season, formal and casual.

It's a nice men's fragrance.

Most girls do love the scent DNA just like we most men love this typical fruity floral

woman's style.

So, this is a very safe one, not too expensive.

Number two is Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Intense.

Antonio: Okay.

Jeremy: And this is important because not always the brands do tell you the truth when

saying, oh, this is our new fragrance this is the new Intense version, this is the older

parfum version.

This however is better than the original.

Many people know it Dolce Gabbana Light Blue.

Antonio: Yeah.

Jeremy: It's a fantastic summery aquatic slightly peppery fragrance, but mostly you

get this ozonic floral fruity blue vibe.

To me, this guy Tom Cruise in the movie Cocktail smells like this.

[Laughs] Antonio: I can see that.

Jeremy: The Hawaiian shirt cool guy player.

Antonio: And you could still wear this with a suit though?

Jeremy: Yes.

Sure, in the summer.

Yeah.

It's a masculine one.

Antonio: Okay.

Jeremy: It got me a lot of compliments mostly in my Ibiza-type of environment Hawaiian shirt.

This is where I use that mostly.

Antonio: So, if you go down to Miami, you can wear this.

Jeremy: Yeah.

This is a Miami...

Antonio: California...

Jeremy: Miami Vice sexy cool guy just super confident.

Just the tropical sexy guy wearing that fragrance.

Light Blue Intense Dolce Gabbana.

Antonio: Number three.

Jeremy: And that's – this is the most bold fragrance that I own while having a great

scent to it.

This one is fantastic, it's very daring.

You have to know this is one of my most complimented fragrances, but it is also my most offensive

fragrance in terms of people actually told me what you have to get people first that

they tell you, well, that's offensive what you're wearing.

Antonio: Yeah.

Jeremy: That you don't get that so often.

Antonio: So, this one you're taking a chance.

You may have some people not like it, but you have people just absolutely love it.

Jeremy: Yeah.

If you want to display confidence in the maximum way of smelling with the most masculine way,

you wear this one, tobacco super masculine, oud even more masculine.

oud is Saudi Arabian type of woody fragrance vibe.

Very oriental strong hairy chest masculine alpha male.

And one thing to know about this one, you also have to know there are certain fragrances

that don't smell so good if you smell them close, but if they linger around in the air

they smell fantastic.

Other ones smell fantastic like that, but they are so soft that you don't even notice

them in the air.

Antonio: Yeah.

Jeremy: This is one of those that smell fantastic in the air.

Antonio: That would be a stretch for me, so I'm going to – I'm going to throw in

a little bit of curve ball.

Jeremy: Yeah.

Antonio: Grab one more.

What do you think?

Jeremy: Okay.

Antonio: Is there something you can grab?

Jeremy: There is no such fragrance since the sense of smell is the most subjective sense

that we humans have.

There's no such fragrance that every girl on this planet loves.

But, if we would have to find one that is extremely safe overall which was the mostly

approved, it would be this one currently, Coach for Men.

It's a New York City company.

It's nothing exciting, it's safe.

Antonio: Yeah.

Jeremy: But, girls overall really enjoy this one.

Antonio: I like it.

So, it seems, yeah, three out of the four very clean scent, very...

Jeremy: Yes, correct.

Antonio: So, would you say when it comes to compliments oftentimes it's about having

something that actually wearing it and standing out from the crowd?

Jeremy: That's always good because if you wear a fragrance like Acqua Di Gio, you – the

girl says in her head, oh, he smells good, but I smelled it thirty eight times already.

I'm not going to compliment him.

But, if you wear something different that she has never smelled before, it will be a

very surprising scent DNA and she will ask you and will be new.

Antonio: Well, let me ask how many times were you complimented by men as well?

Jeremy: By men.

Okay.

I've been complimented in the ratio 30% men 70% women

Antonio: Okay.

Jeremy: So, it does happen.

Antonio: Yeah.

Jeremy: Even especially Creed Aventus gets a lot of compliments from men as well.

It's a very authoritative, oh, that guy is cool and type of a fragrance, but mostly

of course from women you get the compliments.

Antonio: All right.

Guys, those are fragrances that can get you compliments.

And that's it.

I'm going to link to Jeremy's channel down in the description.

Go check it out.

You've got, I mean you go into a lot of these, plus I think quite a few other fragrances

on your channel.

Jeremy: Yeah.

Antonio: Guys, if you haven't checked it out, you will absolutely love it.

That's it, guys.

Take care.

I'll see you in the next video.

Jeremy: Thanks.

How Hybrid Mutual Funds Are Taxed, Hindi - Duration: 5:13.

In this video in Hindi, we will discuss the taxation of hybrid mutual funds

One the reasons for the importance of the topic of taxation of hybrid mutual funds is that earlier this year there have been changes in long term capital gains tax for equity oriented funds

These are applicable for certain types of hybrid mutual funds

There have also been re-categorisation and rationalisation of mutual fund schemes which makes it important for you to know the tax implications of existing investments

This also becomes important as equity oriented hybrid funds popularly known as balanced funds were very popular in the recent past

Existing investors will like to know the tax implications of their existing investments

Of course, erstwhile balanced funds can only be sold as hybrid equity funds

The key determinant of taxation of hybrid funds is whether the schemes has invested 65% or more in equities

In case it is so, then it is taxed like an equity fund. If it is less than 65% in equities, it is taxed like a debt fund

If the hybrid fund has invested more than 65% in equities, it is an hybrid equity fund and is taxed like an equity fund

This means annual capital gains of more than Rs 1 lakh for investments in units more than one year old is taxed at 10% under long term capital gains tax

For capital gains on units less than one year old, short term capital gains tax of 15% needs to be paid

For hybrid funds that invest less than 65% in equities or hybrid debt funds, for units more than 3 years old, you get inflation indexation benefits and have to pay long term capital gains tax at 20%

Flosstube #9: Flosstubaversaries all around! - Duration: 45:52.

hi guys Kaitlin here from Big Apple stitching sometimes I regret that name

it's a little corny anyway welcome back to my channel if you're coming back

welcome if you're new thanks for joining me here I don't know why does anybody

else feel like it always the longest part about doing a flosstube is

always getting started it seems like you know it always takes me I don't know

15 minutes to get into it and stop feeling awkward and get used to talking

to the camera again and usually whenever I sit down to start is right when the

cat's start getting into things and doing things that they're not supposed

to be doing theres visitor here right anyway so I guess let's skip the

introduction part because I'm terrible at those and let's just get right into

it I cannot believe it's August already June flew by July flew by and here we

are with the summer being almost over the last time I saw you guys I was

dealing with the great Internet crisis of 2018 I'm back obviously so it's fixed

we have service now we ended up back with our original provider

long story short we had a line down we had spectrum a line went down spectrum

was repeatedly not fixing it it was a situation that required multiple people

to come in a truck with like a lift and a bucket to go up and fix the line that

was broken way up on a pole that was inaccessible by just one human on foot

and they repeatedly sent one person with no ladder why I don't know

we tried to switch to Verizon we couldn't get Verizon to take our money

strange thing they kept not showing up for

installations we couldn't get anyone on the phone it became another

kind of nightmare then we couldn't get any other providers in our area to give

us service because they all had non-compete agreements with spectrum

where they just agreed to divide up the territory and they wouldn't compete with

each other there so they wouldn't offer a service in territories that weren't

theirs so back to spectrum we went luckily they eventually sent a guy who

was very nice and did some really cool spider-man moves to climb up-- he

literally climbed up the side of our building jumped across the roofs spliced

us into another neighbors line and so we have service again just in time for the

governor to decide spectrum is no longer allowed in New York State so who knows

where we'll be in 90 days but in the meantime I can watch flosstube again and

record flosstube again and that's what it's all about right so

oh the mug of the day is this carrot mug I don't know why but this mug always

makes me think of dawn frosty X stitch I have no idea why

Dawn has never expressed any particular interest in carrots to my knowledge

sorry Dawn this is weird maybe kind of stalkerish but I don't know I every time

I see this mug in my cabinet I think of you in a non non stalker way I think so

I think it's because Dawn and I started flosstube started filming floss tube at

the same time and I think I bought this mug around the time which would be this

time last year actually happy flosstubeaversary to me and happy

flosstubeaversary to Jessie Marrie earlier this week five years that's

incredible and happy flosstubeaversary Dawn

and also I think Margo did you also start in August last year? and I think a

bunch other people Michelle did you also start --no you started earlier in 2017 anyway

that's a very long tangent that's not on my list so after the Internet crisis we

went to we went Ontario to visit my family which was great it was nice to

see everyone we went to Ottawa and we were on the hill for Canada Day saw the

snowbirds fly overhead you know saw some fireworks later that night we went to my

dad's lake house for a couple days which I really enjoyed

kind of like a special place for me because I spent a lot of my childhood on

that property you know every summer for most of my childhood he recently rebuilt

it used to be a little basically like a very little cabin cottage and he has

rebuilt it into what's more of a house than a cottage now you know it's

winterized so we can go there for the winter we might have Christmas dinner

there this year so that was great and while we were home I came across some

treasures that I want to share with you guys so first thing I want to share so

last spring Bryan Blitz stitch showed an old knitting magazine he had from the

80s or 90s and he showed a pattern for this from the magazine and said he

thought about he was thinking about doing it and I commented that I remember

that my grandmother my great-grandmother had made it for me and I remember

I remembered it for my childhood when we were home it turns out my mom had saved

it so this is um this is a doll that my great-grandmother knit for me

this is Cinderella before before she meets a fairy godmother and then you

take her and you turn her inside out and

she's ready for the ball with her fan she's come apart a little but um

so I thought that was interesting cuz I totally forgot about this until Brian

showed his video last year and then I was like yeah I remember I remember

loving that as a kid and I wonder what happened to it and it turns out my mom

had saved it all this time so we've come full circle I guess there's that some

other treasures I came across so I think I remember I told you that my

grandmother and my great-grandmother both they both knit and they both did

cross stitch I showed you the chairs I inherited from my grandmother that her

and her mother my great-grandmother recovered with that needlepoint design a

couple videos ago here's the picture of them so this is my grandma Jackie and

her mom my grandma Trefry and you can see behind them

my grandmother's home had so many cross stitch pieces on the wall there was at

least one in every room I remember that and I'm not sure which one of them made

these I think my great-grandmother did more stitching that my grandmother did

but there's this clock it's like hard to tell from this photo but it's a clock

that's a cross stitched cat and then this other cross-stitch cat

piece that says love me love my cat so I think I mentioned a few times that

they've stitched and I my grandmother passed away maybe a decade ago and that

was before I was interested in stitching and I and then my grandfather her

husband passed away last March March 2017 and I kind of always regretted not

asking him by that time I was cross stitching but I wasn't I was just

getting into it I had just found floss tube I had made a couple of small things

it was less of a passion and more of just a stress management thing for me

and something I've always regretted is that I mean I never while he was still

alive I never asked him what he did with all the cross stitches that were in my

grandmother's home because there was one in every room and I when I was younger I

didn't know she tried to teach me when I was younger she also tried to teach me

how to knit here's another picture this is me as a surly 11 year old that says

on the back aged 11 almost 12 I'm wearing a Backstreet Boys t-shirt and

this is when she the summer she tried to teach me how to knit this project was

swiftly abandoned just like the cross stitch she tried to teach me the summer

before and thrown away I'm sure but anyway I always regretted not asking my

grandfather about it before he passed away and what he had

done with her cross stitch pieces because after she passed away he moved

to a smaller home and I didn't see those anymore they weren't on his wall

so

since he passed in the past year I have been kind of asking my dad to to see if

he could find in my grandfather's belongings any of any of those and I

really truly thought they were all gone there was a couple I tried to explain to

him first of all you know anybody who doesn't cross-stitch doesn't really

understand what cross-stitch is so I remember asking him for needlework and

then he brought me some doilies one time when he visited which is needlework but

it wasn't it wasn't what I was what I was talking about and I kept trying to

explain to him that no these were all these like these framed things that she

stitched and he just he didn't remember them and didn't know what happened to

them and and so I kind of really truly thought I would never have any of those

I did find two things though when we were home home this is home but when we

were visiting Ontario I went through some of my grandfather's things and I

did find these two things I do not think my grandmother's stitched them it's

possible my great-grandmother stitched one of them I'm I'm not sure there's no

names on them they could have been stitched by other friends or family

members that they knew but in any case I'll stop rambling and I'll show them

too so this I sort of remember being on the wall in her home it's really fallen

apart over the years this is a wedding

gift that somebody must have made for her and you can see it's me it's on antique

ivory aida 18 count and it would it come like this it's meant to look like a scroll so

somebody's starched it or glued it here and here and then these flowers were

hot glued on and if you're-- my grandmother the

grandmother I knew was my grandfather's second wife so that's why if you're

wondering like my grandparents got married in 1982 that's weird

he got remarried so when my father was an adult but before I existed so she

was the only grandmother on my dad's side that I knew because my dad's mom

had passed away prior to my existence and we were quite close

so I'm rambling because I'm feeling emotional I'm trying to maintain

composure but so this is I don't know it looks like 14 count ivory Aida that's

been glued or starched here I'm going to I'd like to do something with this I'm

not sure what I'm probably gonna remove these flowers I might cut this and try

and put it into a frame I think I think is nice the stitches are beautiful and

it looks like it's just done with DMC so theres that and then this one is

really pretty you know it's funny because I I very vividly remember a

different wedding sampler that hung in her dining room that was pink and blue

and it had little doves on it and a little a little bells like wedding

bells and nobody's come across that but these two that I don't remember I came

across so they must have been somewhere in the house I'm like 15 minutes in and this

is all over the place I'm sorry it's hard to talk about things

like this without rambling by yourself in your living room and

your neighbors are walking by looking at you through the window... anyway I also

found this so this is really beautiful this looks like it was stitched on this

looks like 28 count even weave it feels kind of cottony like an ivory color this

feels kind of like it doesn't feel like the DMSC Satin it feels softer than the DMC

satin but it doesn't doesn't feel like actual real silk it's probably like a

rayon like maybe um like a synthetic silk maybe it's an old DMC satin I don't

know this is definitely a wool and then the the darker color feels like a cotton

so I just thought this is really beautifully done and this I think I'm

gonna try they might try to clean it but I'm probably just gonna hang it as is

it's in really pretty condition you know is that weird to have my

grandparents wedding gifts hanging in my home? I don't think so and then the last

thing I came across or that rather than my dad gave to me that he had set aside

was this quilt that I think was also a gift either a retirement gift or a

wedding gift or something so my my grandparents met

they're both teachers and they they worked at a school for the deaf blind

and they were both they like wrote books about educating deaf blind kids they

were just kind of like on the forefront of some of that research you know in the

80s and they ran a school for deaf blind children so this quilt was stitch for

them possibly as a retirement gift possibly

as a wedding gift I'm not sure my dad doesn't know again things things you

wish--- things you think you have time

things you think you have time to ask that you don't anyway so somebody made

them this beautiful quilts and it has the names of either other teachers or

students written with some sort of fabric marker on squares in the middle

it says them there's the middle block

well somewhere it says thank you from one of these blocks is says thank you

but I thought I would share that for my quilting friends I don't know the name

of this quilting pattern but it's pretty and I'm happy to have it in my life

she obviously she or he or both of them obviously treasured it enough to keep it

over the years okay so after 20 minutes of rambling about things other people

have stitched I guess I could now talk to you about some things I have stitched

so I haven't done a whole lot since I saw you last June and July were very

busy with traveling after we went to Ontario we went to Pennsylvania for four

or five days to spend fourth of July and a few days after that at a lake house

with our friends Dylan's close group of friends he's very fortunate in that

he's remained close friends with some of the guys he went to elementary school

with and they do an annual fourth of July Lake House trip so we went to

participate in that for a few days which was nice and then after that we got home

we basically got home unpacked our suitcase

washed our clothes were here for a couple days and then we drove to

Virginia for a couple days Dylan's grandfather passed away earlier

this year and so Dylan's grandfather and grandmother have a cabin in the

mountains of Virginia that they that they built in probably probably the 70s

they got all their kids together they got one of those cabin kits that Sears

used to sell where it was like literally a mail order kit that was a cabin and

they they built it as a family and that spot was very near and dear to his heart

so Dylan's family wanted to have a little memorial for him this summer at

the cabin was lovely it was nice to be with their with family the weather was

great we were there were there only for well we got in Friday night and we're

gone Sunday morning it was a quick trip and then as soon as we got back from

that both him and I went back to work which has been bananas I started a new

show-- new show first season first seasons are usually chaos because nobody

has hit their stride yet you know like the show hasn't hit its stride the crew

hasn't hit its stride it's they're always kind of chaotic but this show... I

have never come home so physically tired day in day out and after every work day

like I have from this show you know like it's just been so physically demanding

that when I get home I might I might put a stitch or two in but that's all it is

you know maybe five stitches because I just can't keep my eyes open

and totally exhausted so I haven't done a whole lot but I'll but I'll show you

what I have so I do have a couple finishes so first of all I finished the

second part of Cape Cod peeps this is a plum Street simpler design I have since

passed along the pattern so I can't show it to you I stitched this as charted

except for I made a change to the flowers and I can't remember off the top

of my head what that change is I think I used the color that you're supposed to

use for the mermaid's tail and the flowers and then I gave them a yellow

Center instead of a black Center and I think I might have also put some pink

DMC in there if you're interested let me know and I'll I'll look at my notes

because I wrote it down but so that is that I love this little fish when I beat

Margo shes not done yet and I also I have a page finish on my HEAD so this

is what it is Steven Carl- Paulson-- Steven Paul Carlson every video I

flub that up anyway this horse I've totally given up on

pronouncing the title of this piece I just call it my horse I'm not gonna take

it off the frame but I will put something behind it so you can see so

so I finished I finished that page with his nose cool right

it's like I can finally I can finally see a horse I did there are some

mistakes in the side in here so it doesn't really so that is you see this

like Celtic frame that goes around him in here there are some mistakes in there

so that it doesn't it doesn't look exactly like it's supposed to

I'm hoping that when the rest of the frame comes down around here it won't

matter you know like these shapes aren't I got off and it's somewhere in there

and I thought oh it's close enough and then I after I was

done and I stepped back it doesn't it doesn't really look right but I'm not

gonna rip it out I'm just gonna hope that as the band continues down there

that it'll look fine

I actually had this with me when we were on vacation at the lake house with our

friends and it's the so somebody there asked me how my cross-stitch was going

because they all know that I stitch and they asked if they could see what I

brought with me and I don't know what prompted me to say yes but I brought

this out to show them and later Dylan told me that he was so

shocked that I let-- that I brought it out because you know it was a it was

a party type atmosphere there was there was Cheetos everywhere there was red

wine in in cups hanging out you know people have been eating burgers and hot

dogs so he was really shocked that I brought it out to show them and then he

was also shocked that I let other people hold it! looking back I don't know that

was like that was silly nothing happened not a single person's spilled anything on

it but I would not do that again because that could have been disastrous but it

was I don't know I guess I just got caught up and everybody like oooohig

and awwwing over it and being all impressed so you know it is pretty impressive to make

something like that work on it for a long time I've been working on that for

like it'll be two years in January ok so that is all that I have finished that

page finish and then Cape Cod keeps and then I only really worked on to other

things since I've seen you last so I've been working on my Cat and Mouse and I will

insert a picture of where you saw it last and this is where I don't have

the chart with me but this is Kathy barracks cat and mouse I'll insert a

picture of it and this is where I'm at I think I think I've just done this and

maybe brought down some of the sky since you last saw me and then I did

this this guy up here I really what I really should do is make

this a focus piece for August just to get it done because I'm more than

halfway now the only other thing I've worked on is a new start when we were on

our way to Ontario we-- I'm the driver Dylan doesn't have a driver's license so

when we go to Canada we drive because it's cheaper and it allows us to I don't

know make our own schedule you know rather than sitting in the airport and

inevitably missing a connection and then getting stuck in Toronto which always

happens every time I fly home fly from New York

to Ottawa I inevitably miss a connection

because I get stuck in customs and then I'm stuck in either Montreal or Toronto

for eight hours doing nothing so we like to drive when we go and my rule is as

long as he doesn't have a license and I'm the driver

I get to pick the podcasts and I get to pick where we stop for bathroom breaks

and we needed a bathroom break so we stopped at Joannes! I mean and while we

were there I I picked up this little kit this design works kit

it was 399 and with a coupon I think it was like a dollar fifty

it's called singing cat so I don't know I just think he's so cheerful so

charming you know and this is this is how I feel our cats see themselves when

they are having their middle of the night opera moments I guess you could

call them if you're a cat owner you know what I'm talking about so um I don't

know I knew I'm really behind on year of wips and I'm really behind on

the full coverage fanatics number challenge and I have a gazillion other

projects and I have no business starting something new but I just felt like it I

don't know so I started it this kit came with 14

count aida which I swapped out for this scrap of this is picture this Plus Dwarf

and it's like crystal sparkly version so that's what I have this is his arm there

and the side over here and I started think this is gonna be one of those

projects with a backstitch really makes it

I'm just loving the colors on this one and the sparkle and enjoying enjoying I

don't know the fact that it's a kit so all the floss was there didn't have to

kit it up so that's what I've been working on which is kind of a

pitiful amount for two months I know right and just life life life gets in

the way sometimes so I slacked a little on my retirement

planning in July but I did do a little bit of stashing just a little on our way

from Ontario to Pennsylvania I chose a bathroom stop at the stitchers garden

which is a LNS in the Syracuse area of upstate New York did you ever get a

chance or are up there you should totally check it out it's in an old barn it's

adorable she has a ton of stuff a ton of charts people who are still stashing

Lizzie Kate she's got a ton of Lizzie Kates she had some prairie moons she had um

you know she just had a lot I was in there for a long time we we would have

gotten to our destination much faster if we had have had a bathroom break

somewhere else but I'm driving I get to choose okay so during that that break I

picked up a couple things I picked up it just occurred to me I might already have

this one but I picked up this preschooler santa the Cardinal snow shoes

and this bag full of either snowballs or bubbles anyway I picked up my first

by the bay pattern funky flowers this is Hannah I think this is an iris right

that's what it looks like to me and I love irises I was in a sorority in

college and our sorority flower was the lovely purple iris so I don't know I

always since then I guess I've always been attracted to them plus

they're pretty and they only bloom during a specific time of year right and

around Easter the irises and the daffodils are all out and those

gorgeous purples and blues so I picked up summer house stitch works their

fragments in time number 8 it's a deer that's kind of this flower over here

it's a little more um

a little more prim-- its not really prim I don't know this wouldn't

be something I normally gravitate towards but it's pretty so I just wanted

it it's pretty so I grabbed it and then I got my first prairie moon and this is

also I'm taking out the plastic this is also my first Americana cross stitch

pattern home with the free land of the brave this is pretty

these ships over here this is charted entirely in NPI and

calls for about 30 colors I don't know if I'll do it in NPI I have to think

about it they don't look particularly variegated but silk gotta love silk I don't

know um anyway so I'm excited this is my first prairie moon and my first americana

you guys know how many Canadian cross stitches I have this is my first

American themed cross stitch so pick that up on time for the fourth of July and then

I got my July color and cotton this is 36 count Carrara marble

it looks a little more purple in person it's like really pretty gray

color gotta love gray fabric it's got like a

slight purple tone to it gorgeous I also bought it's obviously not here yet but I

did buy Angela's Halloween mystery box which I'm really excited about

I don't normally stitch Halloween but I don't know her she's so great with color

and her stuff I love her floss I love her fabric she's fantastic with color

and she is really great with color palettes

so I figured just because it's a Halloween themed box doesn't mean I have

to stitch a Halloween pattern with it it's gonna be everything that she sends

it's gonna go together beautifully so I don't know maybe like maybe that's where

the solution to my coffee Quaker problem is that I've been stitching that I

haven't worked on in a year because I hate the colors I chose and I feel

overwhelmed with how to fix that I'm not confident with colors like some people

are and Angela has just she just has a great eye for color so I'm I'm confident

that that box is gonna be worth every penny so I put a deposit on it

I think the full balance is due in September I don't know anyway so yeah

that's everything I bought do I have anything else to talk about?

Oh plan wise

I'm really behind in by the numbers and I'm really behind in year of wips

looking at the goals I set for 2018 for myself I wanted to complete the

by-the-numbers challenge I wanted to complete the year of wips challenge I

don't know at this point if I can complete both challenges I think I need

to pick one to focus on I feel that I should focus on year of wips because it

makes more sense to try and finish more projects than to put more stitches into

my HEAD at the same time doing the by-the-numbers challenge will get that

thing closer to being done I mean I've done two pages out of 22 pages out of 26

so in two years it's like I do need to pick up the pace I don't know I but then

maybe it makes more sense just to pick I have three at least three year of wips

projects that are more than halfway complete that if I just buckle down and

focused on them I might get finished I don't know so my

plans are I have no plans and I don't know what I'm doing with my life and

really quick I don't usually do a I'm all into segment I love I love it when

you guys do those I love hearing about everything you're buying stitching and

not not stitching related everything or watching everything you're reading I

love it when people do books I don't do books because I don't read

them enough but I every time michelle recommends a book I put it on my Amazon

wishlist every time Jesse recommends a book I put on Amazon wishlist I just

have this I have this like whole save for later section in Amazon of books

people recommend anyway something that I'm all into that I think something you

guys would love is Dylan and I just sat down and watched like in one weekend the

entire series of Glow I'm not gonna tell you anything about it because I think

that's the best way to go into watching a show is to not really know anything

about it or that's how I went into it

and maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much because I had no expectations but

it's fantastic it's on Netflix it's a Netflix original there's two

seasons so like 20 episodes this is the first show in a long time that I

didn't stitch while watching because I was just so into the story the

characters are fantastic they're great characters the storylines are not

predictable at all it's kind of based on like a true story that you probably

never heard of even if you were alive in the 70s and 80s it's just great

I highly recommend it if you're looking for something to watch or binge

watch the art the set design and the makeup and the costumes are amazing

I hope they won an Emmy I don't know if Netflix can get Emmys I don't pay

attention to who wins Emmys but I hope they did it was it's great so I highly

recommend I highly recommend checking that out okay so if you've made it this

far you're awesome thank you if you've been joining me for

the year that I've been doing this if you just joined me if you have ever

clicked that subscribe button I just want to say thank you

so I've hit 500 over 500 subscribers and it's surreal that that's even a thing

that could happen to me in my life I never would have guessed it I think that

a year ago when I started to do these I assumed literally no one would watch and

look where it's taken me you know I went to a retreat I've met some some amazing

people I've made friends you know I've made friends in other states in other

parts of the world so I want to share a little love in celebration of a year and

of you know the number 500 and just a in celebration of all things flosstube I

want to do a little giveaway and I think the best thing to do since I have like a

really strong shopping bug right now is whoever the winner is I'll just shop

something for you you'll tell me what kind of designers

you like and what kind of fabric and colors you like and I'll put together a

little surprise mystery package and ship it to you

usual rules apply don't mention giveaway be over 18 or have your parents

permission

be a subscriber that's it right the usual stuff so to enter to enter I want

you okay so bear with me here so I read in the news a couple days ago that these

researchers in Japan and I will link the video below have created a robotic arm

that you can control with your mind so they've literally created a third arm

for humans and obviously you'll see if you watch the video it's still in its

very basic basic form where it just basic you can with your mind control it

to do basic tasks like hold things but that's still incredible the whole

concept of of being able to give human beings a third arm so my question to you

is if you want into the giveaway answer this question is what

would you do with a third arm if you had one would you I don't know what I would

do I want to say I would use it to stitch faster in that it could totally

hold my pattern like here and then I could stitch down here and I mean there

are things that you can buy that do that but maybe it could mark my pattern

that's what I would use it for so I could stitch and it wouldn't mark my pattern

as I go because then I wouldn't have the like the thing I have when I'm doing

full-coverage where I do stitches and then I have to go to my I my iPad and

like Mark it what I've done so that's definitely what I would use it for and I

would also use it so that I could eat candy while I stitched without having to

get my other hands dirty and what else can I use a third arm for

I would make the third arm do it could change the channel or like change the

volume while I'm stitching it can comment on your videos while I'm stitching so I

wouldn't have to pause there's probably other uses for a third arm that don't

involve stitching I can't think of any but if you can let me know it doesn't

have to be stitching related but yeah so tell me what you would do with the third

arm and and that'll be the giveaway question and we'll make the deadline for

that we'll go ahead and make that deadline I don't know what I'm looking

around for I don't have a clock or calendar in this room we'll make that

deadline let's make it September 18th that gives you over a month so September

18th enter by then I'll make a video after that announce the winner I'll buy

you some cool things I'll send you some cool things yeah

anyway thank you so much guys for watching thank you for your comments

thanks you for your likes and your subscriptions and you know just for

being there thank you for being a friend

it's been um it's been so great getting to know you guys through it through the

interwebs and I think I guess that's everything I guess that's it

my brain is empty so so that must be it so I'm gonna say goodbye thank you so

much and I'll talk to you guys soon right

have a great rest of the rest of the summer

and I will see you guys hopefully before September or if not the next time I'll

see you will be after September 18th and we'll do that giveaway winner so um okay

time to stop bye!

Finish Every Rep With Ultimate Effort To Be Ready For Your "Right Now" Moment! - Duration: 2:26.

Hi everybody from Coach Dom Costa this next video is about finishing and you

have to do that in practice with every repetition now my team has 14 more weeks

of football but you don't know if you're gonna have 14 weeks of football things

can happen you don't know if you're gonna have 14 more days of football 14

more hours of football minutes seconds so this is why you go hard every rep

every repetition that you do can you give me 4 to 6 seconds of your ultimate

effort every time because that's how we play the game ultimate effort 4 to 6

seconds we do anywhere from 140 180 190 plays per game sometimes a little more

can you do that all those times in a row 4 to 6 seconds

ultimate effort because we're going to try to practice and get you ready for

that so you're mentally ready for the chaos in a game of giving your ultimate

effort are you ready for your right now moment maybe coach put you in hey Smith hey

Jonesy Robinson hey Abdul get in there hey Hernandez here's your moment you're

ready right now get in there right now and then you have to be ready and the

only way you get ready is by practicing like that and paying attention the whole

time the reps count I had too many teams in my early coaching days we get a 14 to

nothing lead in the first quarter and they take their foot off the gas and I'm

imploring them no we gotta go you got to play three more quarters and hey we got this

14 to nothing final score 15 14 21 14 28 14 nobody cares about the score in

the first quarter second quarter halftime third quarter fourth quarter

middle of the fourth quarter last two minutes they only care about the score

they always score the counts is at the end of the game so go hard in every rep

coaches implore your kids to go hard in every rep if you need to get drills that

are more competitive it gets them to buy in do that that's where it comes and

that's why we need it and that's where you're going to reap the rewards of it

is when you get your opportunity to finally get in a game and you don't know

when you are and you don't know when your moments gonna come but because you

practice with that effort you will be ready as best as you

physically mentally spiritually can be for your right now moment so go hard

every rep thanks for watching punch that like button share comment

subscribe thanks so much everybody!
