Waching daily Oct 11 2018

More and more often I see men not wearing jackets at all

and this is a bit sad because the jacket

is one of the favorites and one of men's most classic clothes.

I'm Themis, from Men of Style and in this video, you will see

how to wear a jacket.

Of the most common reasons people don't wear jackets is because

you might be thinking it's not your style or you can not combine it with

the rest of your wardrobe, but it's also possible

you've never tried to.

That's the exact content of this video. You will see some things

and some appearances and ways to adapt the jacket in your everyday life.

You can wear it all week long and at any time you want.

The first appearance and the most prominent, is the most official one.

The most rigorous look. This is the main reason why

men do not wear the jacket and that's because they think it's too formal.

Especially a blazer, a sports blazer, you can wear it as you like.

But the first look you will see now is the most official, that is

if you're in a place with a strict dress code, where you wear a suit every day,

you can break it at some point and change your appearance a little.

You can wear it with a chinos, a simple shirt, a tie

and a blazer above all.

It is the most formal look but it is also the most obvious one.

The second look may look a bit similar to the first one, though

it's the most classic look when you want to wear a jacket, a blazer.

That is, put a shirt without a tie or something exaggerated

or something that formal.

What you can do is wear the blazer with a shirt,

pants and a pair of shoes that will matter a lot in this situation.

You can combine it with a monk strap shoe to add a bit of formality

or if you want to have a more relaxed image with your jacket,

you can wear it with a shirt, jeans and a pair of sneakers.

Still, you may want to wear your jacket on a more relaxed day

of the week in your office, for example

on a Friday, which is customary to be relaxed in places with

a dress code.

Then you can wear the jacket with a polo. The polo shirt is something in between

a T-shirt and a shirt.

So you can wear a polo and show something more relaxed,

but at the same time you preserve your prestige.

Next appearance you can do, especially during this transition period

when temperature drops, is to put it with a turtleneck.

But not the thick one. A thin turtleneck will give you

the sense of strictness and protection,

But it will also maintain a clean style.

And by clean, I don't mean clean clothes,

which is meant to be spotless.

I mean the purity of the clothes and their combinations.

What you can do to show something different and unique,

is wearing a belt, a watch and shoes

that add something special to your outfit.

For example, you can wear it with a jean shirt inside

or if it is a lot more cold, you can put a denim jacket.

It may sound a little extreme, it may sound

a bit too fashionable, but it is a nice and pleasant

way to mix your jacket and wear it on every day of the week.

The next way is the exact opposite, that is to put on the jacket

and wear something on top of it.

If it's winter and you still want to wear the jacket, no matter

the fabric, it will not protect you from cold

and you will definitely get cold.

What you can do is wear something thicker.

Wear a coat or a gabardine which has some waterproofing,

that will protect you from rain.

The next look is the jacket with a T-shirt.

Wearing the jacket with a T-shirt? Of course!

But it should not be too relaxed.

Especially the T-shirt along with the jacket, shows that feeling that you combine

something very relaxed with something formal because it makes

a contrast.

So, pick clothes that match. That is, do not wear T-shirts

with skulls or something like that.

Choose a simple T-shirt, which will fit well and make a classic

T-shirt - blazer combination.

Another question I often hear: If the jacket can be worn with jeans

Of course it can, but the best you can

choose, is dark jeans.

Medium shade is acceptable as well.

However, you should never choose torn jeans,

to wear with the jacket.

No need! Put a clean, nice line jeans.

These were some outfits and there are others I can show you,

to wear your jacket.

You have to put it in your wardrobe, it's classic and timeless

for a man.

If you still don't think you can combine your jacket

comment below and ask me a question

so, I can help you.

That was Themis, from Men of Style and until the next time...

Take care!

Découvrir Barcelone autrement - C'est une autre histoire - Duration: 9:35.

Hi! I'm Manon Bril, I'm in front of the Sagrada Familia, ever heard of it?

Of course, you have! Everybody knows Gaudí's major work

that's still unachieved, and Park Güell, too!

So, today I'll talk about something else and show you other spots in Barcelona,

since it's a huge city with such an amazing historic heritage!

So let me take you to Barcelona today.

Welcome to "That's Another Story"!

BARCELONA in DETAIL

First, let's go back to the origins of the city.

Marks of the ancient past of Barcelona are still visible,

but you've got to be able to spot them!

This is the Barrio Gótico,

one of the oldest quarters in the city,

where the Romans founded the colony of Barcino.

Here's a proof they've been here,

in this building, where Catalugna Trail Centre is located:

you can admire the remains of a Temple of Augustus,

these columns are 2,000 years old.

The temple was built to honour Emperor Augustus.

It was made of sandstone

and had many 9-meter-high columns,

but only four still stand today.

As always when it comes to ruins,

the other stones may well have been reused elsewhere.

Three of these four columns were discovered

in the 15th century, but were only identified as such in the 19th century.

The 4th one was restored and rebuilt

from tons of pieces from other columns in 1879,

and was first placed on Plaça del Rei.

It joined the other three in 1956.

Let's move forward a bit

and wander in a particular setting:

Labyrinth Park of Horta.

It was created in 1791 on the estate of the Desvalls family,

it's the oldest park in the city.

The rest was composed in the mid-19th century,

the atmosphere is pretty romantic here.

And if you manage to reach the centre,

you'll find a statue of Cupid.

Remember? The god of Love I've told you about many times,

he shoots arrows to make you fall in love.

There are tons of statues of ancient gods and characters in the park,

so, well, you can come here

for the fun of recognising all the people I've already told about!

Here, that's the myth of Echo.

I've already told about Narcissus and Echo.

Like I said, and it's so true,

when we think of Barcelona,

the famous Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudí, comes to mind.

But let's take a look at some of his less famous monuments.

Let me remind you that Antoni Gaudí was born in Reus in 1852

and died in Barcelona in 1926,

where he was hit by a streetcar.

His work left its mark on the city

and most of his buildings are designated UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Of course you know the super famous ones:

Sagrada Familia, Park Güell or Casa Battló.

But why not discover Gaudí

through the very first house he's ever built?

It's Casa Vicens,

built between 1883 and 1888.

So pay attention

because it's full of tiny details

you can admire and scrutinise and all,

mainly on the glazed tiles.

Well, to be more accurate,

Gaudí only built one part of the house,

the rest was finished later by an architect named Serra de Martínez.

The difference is pretty obvious, they did it on purpose

because in the upper part Gaudí made,

the flowers alternate on the tiles, one up, one down,

but here, they're all in the same direction.

Let's go in for subtleties: if you pay attention to tiny details,

you'll be able to notice it!

So it's an amazing house where,

as you can see, many artistic influences entwine:

oriental art, baroque, and pre-art nouveau.

So don't hesitate to come and visit this villa.

It was inhabited until 2014

and has just been reopened to the public!

You can visit the apartments and all, awesome!

One specificity of the city is its eclectic architecture.

With the old city, Gaudí's buildings,

the super modern skyscrapers,

there's something for everyone, with very different atmospheres.

All it takes is a look at the city's map.

Look!

The difference between the old quarters, their winding streets,

and the more recent avenues, crisscrossed and so straight, is pretty obvious.

These long lines are mostly due to Cerdà,

an urbanist who launched a big idealistic project to extend the city in 1859,

based on the fact that the working class couldn't live a decent life

with the wages of the time.

It was decided to destroy the city's walls to increase its total surface

and to conceive more orderly streets for health reasons:

it made natural lighting and ventilation easier,

along with the circulation of people,

of vehicles, goods and gaz energy.

In the end, the project evolved a lot:

the blocs got much higher

and the aimed social mix never came true.

The most well-off classes settled in these areas,

where art nouveau buildings multiplied,

whereas more popular classes still packed

in the old city's alleyways.

And if it's so obvious from here,

it's because we're at the top of one of the city's hills.

But I won't tell you about this place myself!

In each city I've visited, this time,

I've asked somebody living there

to show us a place they like and all,

so the locals too can show us

why they like their city.

For this video shot in Barcelona, I've asked Florian,

who's an old pal, we were in the same kindergarten!

Do you still have kindergarten friends?

We've known each other for 31 years! — Yeah!

I've lived in Barcelona for two years and it's a very nice city.

<i>So here, we're at the Bunkers del Carmel.

It's an amazing Barcelona lookout spot. My favorite.

As you can see behind me,

we have a look out upon the lower part of Barcelona

and the Mediterranean Sea,

and on the other side, upon the Carmel.

It's a great place to have "apéro". — Indeed!

The good thing's that you must climb to get here so it's less crowded.

These bunkers were built at the top

of Turó de la Rovira, in 1938,

during the Spanish Civil War to fight against air raids

and to keep an eye on the whole city.

There used be canons here, they were removed after the war.

You can see where they stood.

Still, the place offers a wonderful viewpoint.

It's open 24/7 and totally free.

From here, you have a stunning view on the city:

you can admire the Sagrada Familia

and many other iconic monuments.

Traces of the Civil War can be seen elsewhere in Barcelona.

Like, on the façade of Sant Felip Neri Church,

you can see bombing marks.

The church was built ca.1750.

It's one of the few baroque churches in the city.

The church bears the gloomy marks of an air raid

launched in January 1938 on 42 refugees

who were hiding in the basement of the convent.

When the monument was restored,

these marks were left as such and now stand as memorials.

This is the end of our tour of Barcelona!

I hope you've enjoyed wandering with us

in the eclectic streets of the city

to direct your attention on less famous stuff.

Well...a little less famous.

By the way, have you really paid close attention?

Have you noticed this little mushroom was hidden

in each place I've showed you?

Join me on the social networks,

like Instagram,

where you'll find the stories of this trip,

and on Twitter,

I'll give you the answers to this little mushroom riddle.

This video was supported by the European Commission

for the European Year of Cultural Heritage

and we'd like to thank them for their support.

Thanks to them, we're visiting three European cities,

Barcelona was the first, then Athens and Bucharest.

Now I've got to go, I've a flight to catch, bye!

Quick vs Quality, Why Make-up Matters: Take and Make Great Photography with Gavin Hoey - Duration: 7:08.

In this video

I'll show you how you can quickly

improve your portraits

by working with a makeup artist.

Hello I'm Gavin Hoey

and you're watching AdoramaTV

brought to you by Adorama,

the camera store that's got everything

for us photographers

and today you join me in my small home studio

and I'm going to do a beauty portrait shoot.

Now for this to work I need

a couple of things.

I need some good light.

I need a really talented model

but there's one more thing

that can really make your beauty pictures

and portraits stand out

and that is a super talented makeup artist.

So today I've got the amazing Sophie

who's doing the makeup on Beth.

Now what I've given her the challenge

to do is two different makeup looks;

one where I've given her

a really short period of time

just to do a very basic makeup look

and then another where we'll have a lot longer

for her to do the makeup

and create a different look.

The lighting isn't going to change,

the model isn't going to change.

What I want to see is the difference

in quality between a quick makeup

and a quality makeup.

So let's get some light set

and let's get shooting.

So the quick makeup

is done and Beth looks fantastic

Sophie has done a great job

and Beth now has a basic coverage makeup.

It's a nice matte finish

so it's going to cut out flare

and hot spots from these lights

that should make the whole post-processing

much quicker and simpler.

Now because this was

a quick makeup

I've just asked Beth to tie her hair back

just so we have a nice clean look.

We also need to talk about

the lighting here as well.

I want to keep the light the same

in the next shot,

so I'm going to go with a nice classic beauty

light set up here,

so I've got a beauty dish

with an eVolv 200 as the light source.

Now with an elevated light

I'd get a shadow below Beth's chin

so to fill that in,

I'm using a Californian Sun bounce.

This is just a basic Beauty lighting setup

and you can find out more about that

if you check out the Adorama Learning Center.

Around the back I've got my gray seamless paper

and just to put a little bit of light back here

I've got another eVolv 200

and that should add

a nice little vignetted area

of light back here.

Okay let's take a test shot and see how this looks?

And that looks just fine,

nice simple lighting,

very, very clean simple look.

Okay so let's take a few shots

like this and see what we get.

Beth are you ready?

Okay here we go.

In my experience

this is a sort of level you can expect

from a model who's really good

at doing their own makeup.

At first glance

this all looks great

but look a little closer,

you'll notice how Beth's

neck and shoulders

are a different tone

to her face.

Hands are often overlooked

especially when you're short of time

and in this case Beth's hands

are clearly not the same tone as her face.

So those worked really well,

very clean, very simple timeless beauty shots

but let's see what happens if we give our makeup artist

Sophie a little bit more time

and a little bit more freedom

and scope to do something a bit more creative.

So Beth off you go.

So whilst Sophie is working her magic

on Beth there's a few things

that will help make your work

with a makeup artist a lot simpler

and it all starts

before the shoot actually happens.

You can't just expect the makeup artist

to read your mind,

so we always provide a mood board.

Web sites like Pinterest

are really good

to gather your ideas together

and then share them

with your makeup artist.

On the day of your shoot

expect your makeup

artist to need some space

to work in so make sure you've planned

and prepared for that.

Speaking of which another really good tip

is to make sure they've got great light

so in this case,

I've just got my specular LED lights here.

That's going to help the makeup artist

see what's going on

and make the makeup more realistic

to these really bright lights

that I'm using in my studio.

When you hire a makeup artist

do be aware that that's what you're getting

someone who does makeup.

Now if you also need a hairstylist

that could be somebody else.

Not all makeup artists do hair

and makeup. Sophie however

she's trained in hair as well so,

make sure you check with your

makeup artist

and explain what you need

and that they can actually do it.

Great makeup takes time

so expect that

to be part of your day.

So whilst your makeup artist

is working their magic

it's time for you to set the lights up,

get everything prepared,

so you're ready to shoot

as soon as your model is ready

and finally makeup artists,

well they don't work for free,

like everybody else they should be paid

as part of your team.

So make sure you factor that into your costs.

And there you go Sophie has worked

her magic on Beth

who now has a wet look hair

and much more intense makeup.

This should make for a very different

set of pictures

using exactly the same lighting.

Well let's find out,

let's take a test shot,

see how this looks that looks?

That looks fabulous

and is very different

to the last look.

Now the makeup artist job

doesn't actually stop there.

A really good makeup artist

will be on set with you

and they'll keep an eye

on the makeup

any stray hairs

and they can help you out

enormously, so it's always worth

talking to makeup artist

and explaining what you need.

So Sophie if you could just keep an eye out

for the stray hairs,

do a little bit of retouching

and well let's just take some shots.

Here we go.

Beth are you ready?

In total this look took around

about an hour to do

and that included

both the hair and the makeup.

And that time was put to really good use

because now Beth has got some makeup

on her neck, her shoulders

and even her hands

so their color

is a much closer

match to her face.

So to really see the work

that the makeup artist does

you need to go in close

and then you can see the sharpness

af the lip line,

the detail around the eyes

and just how smooth

and even the skin tones are,

all of those things really add up

and save a ton of time in post-production.

And there you go done!

It's incredible what a difference the makeup

has made to this shot

between the straightforward shot

and the much more intense look.

Sophie did a fantastic job

and of course Beth did a great job modeling.

vendor video: Alphacool Eistools Crimping Tool kit! Your solution for cable sleeving! - Duration: 3:48.

Hello my name is Nathanael from Alphacool and do you remember the Alphacool Molex extractor Kit?

Yes, you do. Everyone likes it and love this, because it's such a fancy tool kit. But for real project you will need some more tools and customers ask for this.

So now we provide a complete box were everthing is included that you will need.

[Intro]

So, lets open this nice and stable soft box and as you can see here all the tools are kept safe in a thick foam.

So let's get started with the wire stripper first, and yeah, here is the tape measure - this is for inch and millimeters, so everyone can use it.

And, here the wire stripper lies good in my hand and is easy to use you can just cut the cable here like this and you are just the length how long you want to strip the wire

and than just use it like this. So this is easy to use and works good.

Here we have the side cutter this lies good in my hand and of course you can use it to cut cables like this, this works very easy,

or the bigger one the Alphacool Alphacord and because the Alphacord is such a stable product,

you main need more than one cut so but it works so here we go.

And here we have the crimping tool to crimp the cables and this is massive.

A big tool and we have two replacement jaws here so this will last for a very very long time. So let's make a practical test here.

First of all I have a cable. I can crimp the cable like this, than I would need to cut the molex part here.

Put it in the right position like lets same this, and than I would need to put it into the tool and see what happens

and here we go this is the result, perfect.

Finally here we have the sleeving needle and this is a tool that makes it much easier for you to bring the sleeving on to your cable.

So this is loose so you need it hold it with your hands and than if you have a sleeving here, you get rid of the part already in the inside

and now this is free to go over the needle and over your cable and you go step by step by step by step and hold it like this.

So I'm not a professionel in this, but our modders make brilliant results using this tool.

It was a great pleasure for me to make this video to show you all this works together and we have a pretty good result here,

so yes this Alphacord is available and a lots of colors and this is my favorite sleeving.

So I wish you that you can use this at home and also get brilliant results of your next sleeving and modding project.

Have a great day, good by.

Inner 29 EP Recording - Drums - Duration: 4:02.

Day 1 - Drum Recording

So, this is the first day of recording

we started recording drums

We already tracked two songs

this is the third one

we are still reviewing and adjusting some details

They are in the recording room talking and reviewing some details with the drummer

and this is it

Now you will see some short clips of what was done today

This is Kleyton

- Say hi to the people

- What's up

Show them what cymbals you're using today

I'm using...

a Sabian B8 pro, ride

a Zeus 17"

a crash, Sabian B8

14"

and an Avatar Hi-Hat, also 14"

could be a little louder, maybe

wait, I forgot to mute the demo with the drums

sorry

That's it! Sounds good

All right

just for the knowledge, this is the best studio in Joinville because...

There's a McDonald's right across the street

and It's open untill 4am or 5am

it's amazing

no comments

So I kinda dancing that way because I like to pretend that I am a...

orchestra conductor, so that I fell like I'm inside the song

I don't know why

and now we're trying out two drum tracks in one song

this is not very common these days, but perhaps we can bring that trend back

Listen a little bit

Do you know who's this?

It's that little boy that came here

- Do you know him?

- No.

That boy from this song:

Don't you know?

*Brazilian Inside Joke*

This one stays by this side

And the toms and the snare drum in the other side

But do you think...

But the kick drum and the overheads are from the main one

Man, just one little thing...

- Good Morning!

- Good Morning!?

- Oh! good morning, there is a new day out there...

just a sec

- You will make this vocal

-Oh, hey!

It is focused?

- Cool, right?

- I liked.

- Me too

- So, we finished the first day

You saw a little of what we did today.

We're organizing everything around here.

We are making a backup

We've recorded interesting stuff, hope you enjoy

Now, in less than a week we will record the bass

- So it will be very nice...

Stay alert, you know?

Follow our pages on Facebook, instagram and stuff...

and...

- And don't use drugs!

-I don't know... man! you'll have to edit this very well...

- Oh! Someone put my coat on the trash!

Parris Chariz - Static Shock (ft. St. Domonick) [CC Lyrics] - Duration: 4:04.

[Hook: Parris Chariz] I raise my right hand to the Lord

Lemme pray up keep my young boul off the block Keep yo head up watch the opps (yeah)

Let the wave sound make the static shock

I raise my right hand to the God Lost a cousin lemme pray up for the block

I keep my head up watch the opps (yeah) Waver ride up when I make the static shock

(yeah)

[Verse 1: Parris Chariz] Let me mix this sauce with the seasoning

I ask the block whatchu believing in If this ain't whatchu want, it's whatchu

needed then We all grab, just watch what bag you reaching

in Don't know no new rapper that got the flow

with the season I cross my T when I rap, this like the model

for Jesus New tools out of the shed light when I pen

wraps My soul glow when I flip switch in my gift

bag My presence is wanted, the wave can't catch

a new brake I got new wins in my safe

I change the code every week You can't catch me I been surfing

CD changer drinking water DVD is taping my future

Devil passing out rumors Leather smooth as her shoulders

I'm running towards that cougar All these rappers no artist

They get the beat just keep talking I'm flowing faucets of verses

It's never ending I'm working The faith is meaner in person

And you just seeing the surface

[Hook: Parris Chariz] I raise my right hand to the Lord

Lemme pray up keep my young boul off the block Keep yo head up watch the opps (yeah)

Let the wave sound make the static shock

I raise my right hand to the God Lost a cousin lemme pray up for the block

I keep my head up watch the opps (yeah) Wavers ride up when I make the static shock

(yeah)

[Verse 2: St. Domonick] All of my dreams are lucid

Riding round listening to Boosie Had to hit P, like you stupid

Cause the beat kick like kyuken In the street getting ruthless

If they want beef go to Ruth Chris Ride for my tribe like I'm Q tip (ay)

Think it's time to hit 'em with the new tip (ay)

These boys lying like Luscious Open up my mind with the loosie (hey)

Feeling like shrine with the blueprint (yuh) The be like Dom what's the movement (hey)

I be like, man I'm just chillin Amen sweatpants mind on a million (hey)

What you said?

Can't hear me My bad, really can't talk with a grill in

Put sauce on my sentences I got the Light and it's infinite

Can't mess with him he a Benedict Boy you ain't gang where your membership

Feel like Mark Twain with the penmanship Only got one goal in life

To make sure my youngins aright (ay) I manifest what I write

I got some homies in the morgue They the only reason why I haven't stopped

(ay) They keep me going even more

I hit the stage, Dreads swing like static shock (vuelo)

[Hook: Parris Chariz] I raise my right hand to the Lord

Lemme pray up keep my young soul off the block Keep yo head up watch the opps (yeah)

Let the wave sound make the static shock

I raise my right hand to the God Lost a cousin lemme pray up for the block

I keep my head up watch the opps (yeah) Wavers ride up when I make the static shock

(yeah)

[Outro: Clip from "Boyz N the Hood"] "What we need to do is we need to keep everything

in our neighborhood, everything, black Black owned with black money, just like the

Jews, the Italians, the Mexicans, and the Koreans do

I know every time you turn on the TV that's what you see: black people [yeah] selling

the rock [right], pushing the rock [yeah], pushing the rock, yeah I know

But that wasn't a problem as long as it was here.

Wasn't a problem until it was in Iowa, and it showed up on Wall Street where there are

hardly any black people."

طرز تهیه کشمش تازه و خوشطعم از انگور در منزل |How to Make Raisins from Grapes at Home- Eng Subs - Duration: 2:44.

How to make raisins from grapes at home

to make raisins first fill a pot with water

and bring it to boil

after water started to boil

remove the lid

and place the grapes in bunch each by each inside the boiling water for 3 seconds and then remove it and place it in a sieve

then knot the top of each grape bunch with a thread

we are going to hang the grapes under the sun to get them dried

after knotting the thread

use a skewer or a wood or anything in a shape of rod

and knot it to the grape bunches

the way that the grape could hang from the rod

then hang the grape bunches under the sun so that they will get dried

depending the sun intensity

this process could take up to few days

note that grapes must be hanged under the sun

until they get fully dried

this process much take place under the sun only

and you cannot place the grapes into the oven or over the stove to make them dried because they will get cooked

as you see after one week the grapes all fully dried and turn to raisins

the raisins are ready to be separated from the bunch

the raisins are very much fresh and delicious

and you can use it raw or in your cooking

important tip

in case you are drying more amounts of grape in order to make raisins

to be able to remove the raisins from the grape bunch much easier and faster

place the raisins with their bunch in the freezer for 1 hour
