So for us just to stay on course,
to go in a straight line,
the boat's having to steer 17 degrees to port,
just to stay on course,
because of the current,
which I'm going to get Riley to explain.
- The Gulf Stream,
most people in the US will be familiar with.
Because of the trade winds coming over from Africa,
it goes along like this
and up the coast to the US,
and there's a 3.1 knot current now
going up the coast of the US.
Another thing about this is,
wind against current creates those short choppy waves,
and this can be an absolute disaster area
in the Gulf Stream,
if you've got northerly winds.
- The water is so clear.
