How to Disable Tap To Wake on iPhone X, iPhone XS & XS Max, and iPhone XR - Duration: 1:45.What's up Guys!
I'm Dhvanesh from iGeeksBlog and today I will show you how to turn off tap to wake
on your iPhone X, Xs, xs Max or Xr.
Well, iPhone X and latest iPhones don't come with home button so Apple has included
a feature called "Tap to Wake"
It lets you wake up locked iPhone with a tap anywhere on the screen so you can quickly
check notifications, take photos, use widgets, etc. on the Lock screen of your iPhone.
However, if you are concerned about accidental taps that repeatedly wake your iPhone up unintentionally,
then let's check out how to disable "Tap to Wake" feature on your iPhone.
Well, if you have done that
Launch Settings app on your iPhone
Go to General and select Accessibility
Scroll down and here you can see Tap to Wake, just toggle the switch off next to it.
Now, when you lock your iPhone X or iPhone Xs, Xs Max, or Xr, and try tapping the display,
nothing will happen.
Well, that's it!
Like this video, if you find it helpful and subscribe to our YouTube channel for such
all things Apple videos.
Well, I'm signing off and will catch you later.

Eteka: Rise of the Imamba by Ben Hinson | Book Review | BibliChor - Duration: 4:11.Hello Friends Welcome to BibliChor.
Friends today I'm going to review a book Eteka: Rise of the Imamba by Ben Hinson.
I was approached by the author to review it.
So thank you Mr. Hinson for sending me the review copy of your book.
I must say I was intrigued by the premise of the story which takes place in Africa.
Friends as we know Africa is known as the cradle of human civilisation.
Although it has abundant natural resources, it remains the poorest and most underdeveloped
continent in the world, the result of variety of causes which may include colonialism followed
by succession wars, corrupt governments and frequent tribal and military conflicts.
Despite all this Africa has a rich heritage of culture and traditions.
Slowly but surely Africa is harnessing its true potential for development and future
looks bright.
The book offers a good insight into African culture, its cuisine and geo political situations
since the 1950s i.e. the post colonialism era.
There are many real-life famous people and events that make an appearance in various
parts of the book and to some extent take part in shaping of the story.
The book is set in two timelines in Africa during the cold war and in the post-cold war
era.
We have two main characters, the first is Yisa whose story takes place during the 1950s
and 60s.
He is the founding member of the Imamba Brotherhood which is a group of African mercenaries.
In the beginning the purpose of the brotherhood is to provide military aid and training to
the newly formed African nations.
However, over the period of time due to greed for money and lust for power they lose their
way and turn into bunch of hired assassins.
Yisa wants to leave it all behind and settle down with his wife and kid.
Then we have the second protagonist Eteka, whose story takes place in the 90s.
He is a rising young soldier in the Imamba Brotherhood.
He is a skilled assassin and actually he can be considered as more of an antihero.
He falls in love with a girl named Arewa and as the story progresses his character evolves
and he later starts questioning the morality of the actions of the Imamba brotherhood.
The story takes you to the various parts of Africa and multiple other locations around
the world where I really liked learning about the local dialects, cuisine and culture.
One thing that was quite unique about the book was the endnotes giving extra historical
and cultural information which really added another level to the story and enhanced the
reading experience and you can tell that the author has put a lot of time and effort into
the research of the book.
Also keep in mind this is the first book of a series and the story will be continued
in the next book which will hopefully be out soon.
As you might have already seen in this video the book also has illustrations of the various
characters that help you in visualising them.
As the story progressed I enjoyed finding out how the various characters were connected
to each other.
Even though some of the characters feel like superheroes and villains right out of the
marvel franchise, their motivations and back stories feel sincere.
The story does have a misogynous feel to it, and I wish the women had much stronger roles
in it.
For me there was one strong woman character who was the white witch, but I feel she was
a bit underutilised.
There was the character of Isatou who is a runaway and is struggling in the world dominated
by men.
I really hope she will gain strength and more space in the story as we head towards the
sequel.
The book is some 500 plus pages but the language of the book is simple yet sophisticated and
it makes for an easy read.
The story is well supported by fast-paced action, adventure, intriguing subplots, conflict
of flawed human emotions and elements of surprise.
If you enjoy historical thrillers, I highly recommend this book and suggest you give it
a try.
So friends this was my review of Eteka: Rise of the Imamba by Ben Hinson.
If you liked the video please give it a big thumbs up and if you haven't subscribed
to my channel please hit the subscribe button.
As always thanks for watching Bye.

How the future of retail will be - Duration: 5:35.You!
Do you think you have control over your choices?
Can you differentiate the needed from the superfluous?
Do you feel you're a shopping strategist?
Hah!
Intro!
70% of our purchase behavior
is driven by emotions.
Among the various scientific research
there are some interesting numbers.
In an experiment,
25% of the interviewed said
to have visited an entire store,
when only 2% of the surface
had really been covered.
Over 70% say that promos are important,
while they don't know
discounts for over half of the products they purchased.
Shoppers are estimated to consider around
10.4 sources before buying,
although then do not know why they bought
what they bought.
Houston!
Houston!
We have a problem!
But what does "shopping" mean?
It means to buy,
someone says it's a therapy,
it means doing ourselves some good,
or get hurt.
A beautiful answer is the one from Devora Rogers:
shopping is decision making.
Taking a decision.
We go shopping when we buy bread,
as much as we do shopping in the moment
in which we decide which doctor to go to.
Which gym to attend,
which means of transportation to choose,
to go from A to B. This is why we say that we are
all customers of each other.
Our decision making is based on the
simplification of information.
Better said:
the principle of cognitive economy.
Although the weight of our brain is
around 2% of our body,
it consumes over 25% of our resources.
Thus, it will always do everything to avoid waste,
reducing processes and simplifying calculations.
You can do all the strategies you want,
but the brain is lazy.
This is why emotions are often the basis of
our reasoning and they guide our choices.
I know you're convinced it's not like that!
What should I say to you!
Science is science.
But I'm already talking about emotions in this video.
The other key ingredient in the
decision making is "attention".
We are bombarded with continuous information,
but only a small part can really be
processed by the brain.
And that's a big problem,
if we consider that we're in the
"Age of distraction".
Poor Millennials.
Ah, about Millennials:
They are at the center of countless studies
by the Retail world.
78% of Millennials would prefer
a desirable experience to a purchase.
Both for personal purpose and for status.
I do not share what I own anymore,
but where I am,
with whom,
and what I'm doing.
i.e.: here I am,
alone,
speaking again...
and nobody ever stops me.
Basically, it's the end of the era of:
"Yo,
I have a Mercedes and a boat"
But what about brands?
In 2017, 8400 stores closed
in the United States only.
15 per day!
In the meantime, e-commerce explodes by doing
+24% per year!
Phenomenal cosmic powers,
in a small digital space.
Amazon has become the first clothing store
in America.
Meanwhile,
in China,
during "Single's Day", Alibaba sells
products for 143 million dollars in a minute.
This is more or less the same figure
that 3 H&M stores make. In a year.
Meanwhile,
Doug Stevens says that we are only
at the first stage of e-commerce.
What is happening?
Until recently it was thought to be
a transition from the "offline" to "online",
but it is more fair to call it a Revolution.
While the Media has become the Store,
the Store is becoming the Media.
If the website has changed from being
a pure advertising window to a complete online store,
the store has become the place of experience.
The link between brand and consumer.
Of the social life.
Of Life-Style.
An increasingly important touch-point.
On the other hand,
what is a brand, if not a network
of associations in a person's brain?
Brands like Apple propose themselves
as town centers.
SneakerBoy,
an Australian footwear company proposes
experiential stores where you can try any
shoe of any size.
You try everything,
and then you buy online.
And the product?
Completely secondary.
While the brand aims to accompany
our hero towards new discoveries and aspirations,
while proposing lifestyles related to the hero's values,
the product becomes the enabler.
The mean.
So how will tomorrow's stores be?
I'm with Rachel Shechtman who says:
they must have the point of view of a magazine,
they have to change as much as an art gallery,
and sell like a store.
How?
With stories and experiences.
Mrs. Shechtman says that the store must
be a dating service between the brand and people.
It must be about sensations,
it must be what the store
online can not be.
In the end, we are social animals,
and experiences are a primary stimulus to us.
This has been well understood by the retail world,
which it's moving fast in proposing not just stores,
but rather sensory environments that place
the human being at the center,
while proposing experiences of alternative realities.
So that we,
main characters of our stories,
can deceive space and time,
by dedicating ourselves to an activity
which is not so that different from a Wellness Experience.
So, to you out there screaming:
Buy!
Discounts!
Crazy prices!
Shhhhh ...
Less chit-chat and more experience, please.
