Hey guys, what is up, welcome back to videos. Well Queen

It's a pleasure talking to you hurry back with a brand new review video today

Ladies and gentlemen, I brought you one of the fanciest earbuds that I've ever seen literally

I've never seen such a thing before and I'm 100% Sure y'all will agree on this literally y'all would agree on

What I just said these airports that I have from you right now. They're literally one of the fanciest out there. So I'm honored

I'm literally one of the very first people back review these Bluetooth earbuds that I'm gonna show you guys in a little bit and

Yeah

If I could run into actual let y'all know like a crazy crazy fact about these things

The pammo company basically runs and then G goggle campaign and believe it or not

They happen to claim over above like 40,000 backers literally above two million dollars because you don't know what's in there. Go go

It's basically a website where you go ahead and you know financially, you know support your best companies or invest products

Well, as I said this product right here happens to claim over two million dollars. So this is really really interesting

So anyways, like few days ago, I've received this box right here. So I've already open it up, by the way

I've already tried it for the past few days so I can of course. Um, let you guys know my experience with this company

It's all humble. Here's the box of the earbuds. Once you open them up. You will see the beauty bro

You see the actual beauty

Let's just take a second and look how cute this box looks the first thing that you will notice on this

Is that the whole box is basically leather a real leather matte effect

You can see that and the quality dude the quality. I've never seen as I said earlier

I've never seen such a earbuds on this high quality like seriously

Um, I was literally surprised once I saw them I was a bit surprised like the details, bro

The details are just crazy

So anyways, once you open them up

you will see the couple SS you will see the couple wireless headsets and here are the earbuds here are the

wireless headset true wireless headset

so as I said

I've been using them for the past few days and I can tell you that the

the timing of the connection with this and your phone is

Literally just too fast literally wants to switch on your Bluetooth on your phone, basically

They will pair automatically and the parent is very very fast

I'm like I was blown away on how perfect these earbuds are the connection speed

The quality of the box the amount of playtime you can get with this all these features are just crazy by the way

Just let y'all know this cute little box is not Jessie. It's six

yes, looking bucks that you can carry your you put in but it is also a power bank for the

For the earbuds, right? It's also a power bank or once they're dead

You can literally just put them in and they will start charging automatically and that's cus you guys right here

There's a plug for this power bank to get charged. So right now let's move on to the your plus right here

Let's take a closer shot on the air putz as you can notice. There's literally no buttons

the only thing that you can do

Is pose and play you can play with pose your music with literally just one touch you don't have to push, you know

how to click only one touch put your fingers under the earbuds and that will automatically you know

Play the music for you, or pose it if you know what I mean, so real quick guys

Let's have a quick look on a live

You know a live connection just to prove how fast they are how fast the pairing of this Bluetooth headset is with your phone

So I'm gonna take once again a live test right now. So we'll go ahead and put them all real quick

And by the way, like clearly wants to touch them once you touch the earbuds and put them right in your ears

They will automatically switch on which is just that just that is pretty damn cute

Basically just goes to your phone and blew through a little bit once I switch on my blew through his y'all can see right here

We have that connection

As you can see the time in connecting and boom it's already connected like seriously. This is too fast

This is too fast it like few seconds. But like we should definitely agree. This is wild this is definitely wild

I'm concerning the quality of the music. I'm not gonna lie. It's definitely not the best quality

It's not that the best quality you can find an air bus, but you know with all these features and seriously like under $40

Dude this is a great great ear. Puss. These are an amazing hisses as I said, the quality is definitely not the best but it's

Okay, you know it's literally I'm a really like on a seven out of ten steps out of ten the quality's not bad

It's kind of low on fat bass

that's my opinion the only bad thing about this but

everything else literally everything else is just perfect from the bugs and the look to literally the

connectivity and everything

These earbuds are just amazing. All right, these airports are just amazing. So I just say wants to basically touch it like this

The music is on right now and once you touch it once again now

The music is posed

That's pretty fancy. All right, that's that's very fancy

Um I said I've used them for the past few days

I went to school with them basically with them on and let me just tell you that they were stuck in my ears

They weren't falling off, which is a really really important things on ear

But if you wanna get it, you port make sure they SiC on your ears that they definitely do

All right, they definitely do I go with my motorcycle

I know you don't move your head all out while riding your motorcycle, but you know, it's early

All right, the ear puts our study on my ears. That's for sure

Well, the ear pods are in the you know

splash and moisture resistance so you don't have to worry of them broken on you because of the

Sweating so you don't worry a little bit of water, basically

want to pick them at all and one more thing that blew my mind is that

You can literally receive coals with this and believe it or not

I've tried it because as y'all can see the ear plugs are a little far away from your mouth and the one you're talking to

You know, look you won't hear you, right?

Well, I've been talking to my friend and he said that he heard me clear here

Literally every single word I said

so that's pretty interesting like literally receiving calls with this and

Having the good talked to be like as smooth as it could be. You know, that's really really really mad

I forgot to tell y'all that it has over like 3.5 hours on the play time. That's more than enough

And as I said, this is a portable charging back once they're dead you put them on and they will surcharge and automat

Yeah, of course. You charge it by its own right? You charge it alone?

Then you go whenever you go once they're dead you put them in and they will charge just in there

So hey guys, I believe that's that for the video truly. Hope you guys enjoyed watching it once again in my opinion

These are the fanciest earbuds I've ever seen

I've never seen such a better 8 plus before especially for the you know price range. I'm indeed surprised before the chicken output

We're doing so I make sure to list the links of roots down below in the description if you're interested check it out

Of course and yeah, I believe that's that for the video. This is worth me. Thank you so much for watching and

peace

Fate/Grand Order - Shuten Douji (Caster) Voice Lines (English Subbed) - Duration: 12:32.

Let's see.

I'm the oni's...what was it called?

The point is, I'm the Protector of Principles. After all, the current me is the Dharmapala Girl.

I command the oni so I can't be an ally of man...

Fufu, do forgive me.

Dialogue 1: How long do you intend to stay here?

I am not fond of being kept in suspense.

Dialogue 2: Unfortunately, the Dharmapala Girl won't become anybody's.

Ah, but if you were to put a collar on me, that would make things different.

Dialogue 3: Listen to this.

This Haku dared to defy me by calling me a "sham".

Ibaraki vehemently insisted that "A familiar is an indispensable part" so I can't even strangle it to death.

What should I do?

Dialogue 4 (If you have Ibaraki Douji): I'm me. That's right, the Dharmapala Girl's...

...wait, Ibaraki? That's not right, it's me, you know?

Shuten Douji.

...Whaat?

I do resemble her, but as you thought I'm a different person from Shuten?

You're still saying things like that.

...*Sigh*, just what am I going to do with you?

Dialogue 5 (If you have oni type Servants?): Well then, the Dharmapala Girl has come to visit.

Where are the oni who ceased hostilities and the oni who started imitating humans?

Even if you hide it, I'll see through your lies, you know?

Dialogue 6 (If you have Sakata Kintoki (Rider or Berserker)): Boy, boy?

What do you think about this apron?

Why are you averting your eyes? Hm?

"Another lightly dressed Servant has come" you say, but it's me, me. Did you forget me?

...Huh? "Nice to meet you"?

...*Sigh*, it would be better if you removed those sunglasses.

It's fine, just take them off already.

Dialogue 7 (If you have Assassin Paraiso): Hmm, how curious.

Descendant of Kouga Saburou, you're not going to run away scared today?

...Uh-huh,

"You resemble Shuten Douji a lot, but since it seems like you are a different person, I feel relieved".

Huh, is that so.

It's not like I intended to disguise myself that much.

If you have (Minamoto no Raikou (Berserker or Lancer))[1]: So such coincidences occur too.

Although she is some sort of committee chairman of the public morals or so she's taken to calling herself,

the Dharmapala Girl is the one who protects these so called public morals better.

...the public morals of the oni, that is.

...Then, let's see how she'll react.

...Well now, she just passed me by.

Perhaps she did not notice that I am Shuten Douji?

Dialogue 9 (If you have Summer Ibaraki Douji): Hee~ How stylish.

Yes, yes, it suits you.

Ibaraki, I'm glad.

Shall we act like a duo from now?

That's right, the two of us...

Ufufu, my, my, you're in such high spirits.

Make sure you don't fall over.

Likes: I like these clothes.

Even though, normally, I like wearing more clothes.

Fufu, something like this is fine too from time to time.

Dislikes: Since there is logic for oni, those who do not follow such logic can not be overlooked.

Oni are oni. Not human.

Living like a human, loving like a human and dying like a human are unacceptable.

Isn't that right?

I don't like being so fussy about it, however, the current me is the Dharmapala Girl, fufu.

Holy Grail: *Sigh*, that's right.

Next is that gilded sake cup.

If it was repainted with crimson lacquer, I wouldn't mind making it mine.

Event: When talking about "events", one must put on a "hero show" too, otherwise it can not start.

Shall we go then, Master-han?[2]

Bond Level 1: This appearance? I'm the Dharmapala Girl, what about it?

Pardon me if it's not to your tastes.

Hm? Wha~t is it?

Fufu, what now, are you bothered by it for some reason?

Bond Level 2: Do you know the reason for this?

That's right, it's because of Ibaraki.

She saw something like this in the television and went "Do we oni not have something like that, I wonder~"

Well, there is no such thing.

A white lie? That's not it either, ufufu.

Bond Level 3: The world of man, have those who protect humans, right?

Like guardsmen and samurai.

In that case, what about the world of oni?

Well, they are not exactly guardsmen...

...but we do have something similar to them, you see.

Aah, what was their name, I wonder.

Bond Level 4: What is the current world like?

I don't know much about it.

It seems like I won't notice if a single oni is captured, but while the world of oni continues to scrape by, there will be guardsmen-like existences.

In other words...

Well, that's my current Saint Graph...with that said, what are you going to do? Ufufun.

Bond Level 5: I want to work hard too, you know., Master-han.

How about being employed as a shikigami of a heroine like this?

"A familiar of sorts is over there", you say?

How mean.

This Haku's an empty shell, he's something like a doll woven from my magical power. He's different from a familiar...

In any case, Master-han, how about becoming my familiar for a bit?

It won't hurt that much.

I'm getting used to this Saint Graph.

It feels good...

Master-han, thanks a lot.

Hmm...it's no good, huh.

Since my Saint Graph has been properly adjusted, my appearance won't change.

Master-han, are you dejected?

Sorry.

Aah, I should say something more fitting for this form...

Well then...

"Magic Level UP!"

...would something like this be fine, I wonder.

Fufu. Fufufufufufu.

This is a secret but, it seems like my preference in flavor has changed a wee bit, due of this Saint Graph.

I prefer sweet things that go well with sake.

Viscously melting on the tip of my tongue...

Fufufu. Right, just like a human's...fufufu.

───Master-han, how about you have a taste as well?

Level up.

My, my, thanks a lot. I'm grateful.

Battle Start 1: That's as far as you go. I'll clean e~verything up neatly.

Battle Start 2: Dharmapala Girl, paying an unannounced visit. I'll completely crush you now so do forgive me, okay?

Skill 1: *Gulp, gulp*...Haa! It's overflowing~

Skill 2: Okay, sit. Good boy, good boy.

Command Card Select 1: Is it okay?

Command Card Select 2: My, like that?

Command Card Select 3: Fufu, ye~s

Noble Phantasm Select: Well then

Attack 1: There there

Attack 2: Ufufufu

Attack 3: What to do~

Extra Attack: Fufu, "Golden" or something~!

Noble Phantasm 1: Well then, shall we go? *Gulp gulp*, haa.

Tearing, smashing, melting────

『Dharmapala Girl - Nine-Headed Dragon Massacre』!

While I'm at it, I'll eat you in one gulp!

Noble Phantasm 2: *Sigh*, like I thought, I just can't stop.

It's overflowing.

Tearing, smashing, melting────

『Dharmapala Girl - Nine-Headed Dragon Massacre』!

I'll turn every inch of you into sake────

Noble Phantasm 3: Well then, shall we go? *Gulp gulp*, haa.

Tearing, smashing, melting────

『Dharmapala Girl - Nine-Headed Dragon Massacre』!

Ibaraki: Fufu~n. ....Whyaaaaat!?

Noble Phantasm 4: *Sigh*, like I thought, I just can't stop. It's overflowing.

Tearing, smashing, melting────

『Dharmapala Girl - Nine-Headed Dragon Massacre』!

Ibaraki: Fufu~n. ....Whyaaaaat!?

Damaged by Noble Phantasm: It's to such an extent?

Damage: How mean~

Defeat 1: "Servants" are, beings who can't do as they please, aren't they...

Defeat 2: Dharmapala Girl, eliminated~

Victory 1: Punishment~ kidding. Fufu, it was a joke, just a joke.

Victory 2: Doing things like this once in a while isn't that bad.

Tricky words to say in British and American English - Duration: 10:24.

We're back with some more words that are difficult to pronounce in British English.

And in American English. Are you ready to try them?

Let's get going. Hello everyone! I'm Vicki and I'm British.

And I'm Jay and I'm American. We want to say thank you to everyone who has suggested

words that are hard to pronounce. You made some great suggestions and we've

asked some English learners to try saying them for us.

Yeah, here's the first one. Let's see how they did.

Mishap. Mishap.

Mishap. Mishap.

Oh dear, they're all wrong. This word is confusing.

Yeah. Mishap? Mishap. Mishap? What's this word?

She got it right the first time. It's mishap. It's an s sound, sss. Not sh.

And it means a small accident or mistake. Yes, a mishap isn't serious. It's when

something goes wrong, but it's just a small thing.

Mishap. He got it right.

Yes, he did well. He didn't have a mishap with mishap.

Say it with us. Mishap.

Mishap. OK, what's next?

Let's see. Depth.

Depth. Oh dear, no no no no.

That was hard. Yes. It's a short word and you've got

to say a lot of sounds very quickly. Depth.Yeah. Thank you.

Depth. They did well.

Yeah. So what does depth mean?

It's how deep something is, so the distance from the top of something to its bottom.

The depth of a swimming pool. The depths of the ocean.

Depth. Depth.

So you've got a p sound: p. And then you've got to move your tongue forward very quickly

for the th sound. Try saying it with us.

Depth. Depth.

You know, I have hidden depths. Really?

Yes, there are lots of interesting and unknown things about my character. I'm very deep.

Let's see what's next. OK.

Oh. Posthumously. Hmm. Posthumously.

Posthumously. Posthumously. Posthumously.

Oh nearly, but they've all got the word stress wrong.

Posthumously? I don't think I got that one. Posthumously.

Posthumously. So what does it mean?

OK. If something happens after someone's death, it's posthumous. Like someone might

write a book and then die, and then they publish the book posthumously, so after their death.

Or heroes who died in battle might receive a posthumous medal.

Yes, and the stress is on the first syllable. Say it with us

Posthumously. Posthumously.

Can we have a happier word now? Yes, here's a nice one.

Choir. Choir. Choir?

Choir. Oh this is another hard one.

Yes. Choir.

Hey, she got it right! Yeah. It doesn't start with ch or sh sound.

It starts with a kw. Choir.

Choir. So what does it mean?

A choir is a group of people who sing together. Like a church choir or a school choir.

Let's show everyone. [choir singing]

Wow, we're good! Yeah, let's do that again!

[choir singing] OK, say the word choir with us.

Choir. Choir.

OK, what's next? Let's see.

Asked. Asked.

Ah, that's not right! It should just be one syllable, right?

Yes, and it ends with a t sound... t. So we write E-D but we say T?

That's right. It happens in the past tense when verbs end with an unvoiced sound.

We should make another video about that. It's on my list. We will.

Good. So subscribe to our channel everyone so you don't miss it.

And we say the word 'asked' a little differently in American and British English.

See if you can hear the difference. Asked.

Asked. So in British English we say 'ah'.

And in American English we say 'a'. This happens with quite a few words, like

bath. Bath.

Banana. Banana.

So you can choose. You can say asked or asked. Say it with our learners.

Asked. Asked.

Asked. Asked.

Asked. What's next?

We've got a long word now. Errr. Ono...Onomatopoeia. I don't know.

Onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia. I don't know. Onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia.

They nearly got it. Yes, what does this word mean?

It's when you use words that sound like their meanings. Like the word hiss sounds

like a hiss. SSSss Or the beep sound your cell phone makes. Beep

beep. Or how buzz sounds like buzzing.

Onomatopoeia. Great.

Onomatopoe... Onomatopoeia. Fantastic!

They did a great job! Yes. It's all about getting the rhythm right.

ONomatoPOEIa. Onomatopoeia

Onomatopoeia. So how many syllables does it have?

ON-oh-mat-oh-PEE-a – six! And the main stress is on PEE.

Yes, and there's a secondary stress on ON. Here's how we say it.

Onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia.

What's that trick you use for pronouncing long words?

It's called backchaining. You start at the back and then work forward. Try it with me.

-a. PEE-a.

to-PEE-a. ma- to-PEE-a.

o- ma- to-PEE-a. ON-o- ma- to-PEE-a.

Did it help you say it? OK, let's do one more word.

Another hard one? Yes!

Sword. Sword.

Sword. Sword.

Nice tries but the W should be silent. Sword.

Sword. Now they got it right.

Sword. Sword.

So what's a sword? It's a weapon with a long metal blade and

a handle. There's a famous saying. The pen is mightier

than the sword. Yes, it means words are more powerful than

physical force, because you can change people's opinions with words.

Yes, and it's easier to write with a pen than with a sword.

We want to say a big thank you to all the learners who helped us make this video. You

were very generous and such fun to work with. And you were very good sports.

Yes. We should explain what being a good sport means?

If someone is a good sport then they are pleasant and cheerful, even in a difficult situation.

And we gave them some difficult words to say. If you have any suggestions for more difficult

words, write and tell us in the comments. Maybe we can make another video about them.

And if you've enjoyed this video, please share it with a friend.

And don't forget to subscribe to this channel. Bye everyone!

Bye-bye.

Nodus Compact Coin Wallet (+ GIVEAWAY) | Ideal Minimalist Wallet Perfect for Card & Coin Carry - Duration: 6:54.

Hey, it's Ernest from Trip Astute. In this video, we're doing a review of the Nodus

Compact Coin Wallet. A versatile wallet that's perfect for travelers and those

of you that carry a lot of credit cards.

(light chiming music)

First off, I want to thank Jerry P. for recommending that I check out this wallet.

As you all know, there aren't many quality minimalist wallets out there

that cater to the needs of us point collectors who usually carry multiple cards

in our daily lives in hopes of earning free travel. So when Jerry told me about

the Nodus Compact Coin Wallet, I was definitely intrigued. I reached out to

Nodus and they generously sent us a wallet to review and also another wallet

to give away to our audience. But before we get started, if you're new here,

welcome to our channel. Trip Astute is a travel channel that is focused on

sharing ways to make travel easier, affordable, and more enjoyable. Traveling

can be stressful and expensive, so we're looking for ways to help you maximize

your experience through travel tips, points and miles, and innovative gear. If

that sounds interesting to you, please consider subscribing. Nodus is a company

based in the UK that started in 2013. They wanted to create products that

improve the interaction and experience with items that we use most often. These

include things like wallets, phone cases, and even tablet cases. They're also known

for using extremely high quality Italian leathers. The leather is top grain,

vegetable-tanned, and ethically and sustainably produced

and sourced. High quality leather is not only more durable and desirable, but also

ages well, often developing a patina that is more beautiful than when it's

brand new. While Nodus sent us wallets to review, I

want to emphasize that this is not a paid review. We're not being influenced

to review these wallets in any way. As always, we want to ensure the integrity

of our channel and be able to share our honest opinions and thoughts. So, let's

jump into the highlights of the Nodus Compact Coin Wallet.

Number 1: Capacity for up to 17 cards. The wallet can accommodate up to 17

cards in the main center pocket. While I don't recommend carrying that many, it's

nice to have the flexibility when carrying credit cards in your wallet.

Also, I prefer this style of wallet since it allows me to rotate cards in and out

without worrying about stretching pockets, which is a common problem with

leather bifold and trifold wallets. Number 2: RFID protection. While RFID

isn't much of a threat here in the US, it seems to be a bigger concern outside

of the US with contactless payment cards. The wallet has RFID shielding built into

the main pocket so you can be assured that your card information is safe.

Number 3: Two external pockets. I think this feature is very useful. The

two external pockets do not have RFID protection which makes it perfect for

metro passes, office badges, and even hotel keys. Number 4: Internal

organization pockets. While the cards are meant to occupy the center, the wallet

has an expandable pocket on one side that can hold coins. Those of you in the

US may not care very much about coins, but they are a lot more common when

traveling, especially in Europe and in the UK. Also, you can use the pocket to

hold a few additional cards or small items. The other side has a shallow

pocket for your cash. Keep in mind, it's like other minimalist wallets. You'll need

to fold your notes into thirds in order for it to fit in the wallet. This isn't

an issue for me at all since I use cash less and less every day. But if you

happen to use cash often in your daily life, you may want to find a wallet that

allows you to bi-fold your cash instead. Lastly, the cash pocket has a slot for a

key. I love this feature. Even if you generally carry your keys in your pocket,

it's nice having a place to put a spare key like a bike lock or mailbox key or

even a room key when traveling. I've only seen a few wallets with this feature,

so it's nice seeing it in this wallet. Number 5: High quality leather. I know we

already covered that Nodus uses vegetable-tanned Italian leather, but I

have to say that the leather does feel and look very premium. It has a bit of

texture which gives it a more luxury feel than other wallets. This wallet will

definitely age well and will likely even look nicer as it develops its patina.

Number 6: Compact size. Though it's probably obvious, the wallet is perfect for

front pocket carry. It measures 2.7 inches tall and 4 inches wide. The

thickness will depend on how much you put into the wallet. Number 7: Packaging

and branding: Lastly, the packaging used by Nodus is very impressive. The wallet

arrived in a micro fiber pouch inside of a nicely decorated

cardboard box. Nodus' brand symbol is an octopus and the branding is discreetly

marked on the wallet. It looks like it was stamped or iron branded into the

leather, which is a nice touch. In terms of things I wish it had or were different, I

think the only thing I wish it had were more robust zippers. I would love to see

Nodus add water-resistant or locking zippers to their wallets. It's definitely

not a deal breaker, but more of a wishlist item for me. This wallet is

available off the Nodus website for £60, which is about $75 to $80.

That may seem expensive, but keep in mind the quality of the leather

and craftsmanship. The company offers a generous five-year warranty on their

products which shows that they stand by their customers. Also, Nodus offers free

worldwide shipping on orders over £30. I'll include a link in the video

description below. In summary, I think the Compact Coin Wallet is a great choice

for those of you looking for a daily or travel wallet. It has the capacity to

hold a lot of cards which is very useful for those of you in the credit card

points hobby. The wallet is similar to other minimalist wallets that we've

reviewed, but it does have some unique features that sets it apart from others.

After trying got this wallet, I'm actually excited to learn more about

Nodus and even check out some of their other products. Lastly, we're going to do a

review of their Compact Card Wallet soon, which is more of a traditional

minimalist wallet. While this sort of wallet tends to be too small for me in

my daily life, I do generally carry a lot less with me when I'm actually traveling.

For me, it's usually cash, one credit card, a debit card, a copy of my passport, and

an ID. So I'm looking forward to trying the wallet out and seeing how it fits

into my travel routine. Finally, Nodus would like to give away one of their

Compact Coin Wallets to our audience. As always, you'll need to visit our website

and enter using the contest link. I've included a link in the video description.

You don't have to purchase anything and there's multiple ways to enter and gain

entries. All you have to do is click on any or all the options to enter. The more

options you complete, the more entries you'll earn. And of course, there's no

pressure to enter. The contest runs until Friday, November 9th. and we'll randomly

select one lucky winner on November 10th. Nodus will then ship out the prize to the

winner. Also, the giveaway is open to everyone, not just US

residents. What are your thoughts on the Nodus Compact Coin Wallet? Let us know

in the comment section below. If you enjoyed this video or found it useful,

please give us a thumbs up and consider sharing our video with others who might

benefit or enjoy our content. Until next time, travel safe

and travel smart.

Could Complex Life Survive on Mars? | SciShow News - Duration: 5:41.

[ ♪ Intro ]

We've added a lot to the classic picture of Mars in the last few years,

especially where water is concerned.

Between the pretty strong evidence of salty liquid water scattered across the surface,

not to mention the giant lake that might be hidden deep under the south pole,

it seems like there's a surprising amount of liquid water over there.

And in a paper published this week in Nature Geoscience,

researchers found that all this water we've been finding might actually contain enough oxygen

for certain forms of life to survive there.

Not just simple unicellular microbes, either.

In some places, there might even be enough oxygen for more complex life to survive.

So water is super important to the search for life on other worlds,

because as far as we know, life can't survive without it.

But of course, there's a big difference between figuring out whether life could survive on Mars

and actually finding life there.

And even with the evidence of liquid water, we're still working on that first one.

The main problem is that the water on Mars is full of a type of salt called perchlorates,

which happen to be pretty toxic to life as we know it.

But we know that life can adapt to all kinds of extreme conditions.

And when we talked to Vlada Stamenković, one of the authors on the new paper,

he noted in a place like Mars where there are perchlorates everywhere,

adapting to them might just be normal.

Still, when scientists talk about life surviving on Mars,

they're pretty much always referring to anaerobic life,

simple, unicellular life that doesn't need oxygen to survive.

More complex, aerobic life does require oxygen, and since there's not much of it on Mars,

most researchers assumed aerobic life wouldn't be able to survive there.

At least, until now.

Other recent studies have found

that aerobic life doesn't need quite as much dissolved oxygen to survive in water as we used to think,

only 0.032 parts per billion for single-celled microbes, which is … not a lot.

For comparison, oceans on Earth have about 200 thousand times that.

So the authors of this week's paper wanted to see if the oxygen content of Martian brines

would be enough to support aerobic life.

When they put together a model of how oxygen would dissolve in the brine based on the conditions on Mars,

they found that there were large areas of the planet

where the brine would have enough oxygen to support aerobic life.

And on about 7% of the surface, the model showed that there might even be enough oxygen

to support more complex, multicellular life, like sponges,

which need about 2000 times as much as single-celled aerobic life.

The researchers focused on the small brine deposits close to the Martian surface,

not the giant lake we think might exist about a kilometer and a half below the planet's south pole.

But they said that according to their results, the lake would probably have lots of dissolved oxygen, too,

as long as it has a reliable source of the stuff, like from the atmosphere

or from radiation breaking down water molecules.

Obviously, none of this means there is aerobic life on Mars, or that life exists there at all.

But Stamenković also pointed out that oxygen was a huge factor in the evolution of complex life on Earth.

So finding enough oxygen to support aerobic life right next door

opens up a lot of new possibilities in the search for life on Mars, and maybe on other worlds, too.

Meanwhile, NASA's InSight lander is on its way to Mars, set to touch down in late November.

It's not designed to study places where we think life might be able to survive,

since it's so hard to make sure we don't contaminate those places with microbial hitchhikers from Earth.

Instead, InSight is going to study the planet's interior to learn more about how rocky planets formed in the Solar System.

And last week, NASA released a video with more details about how exactly that will work.

It involves … the claw...

Did I do a good job of that?

Seriously, though.

Since InSight's mission is to study the Martian interior, which we've never properly done before,

its scientific instruments need to be in direct contact with the surface.

So the lander's robotic arm has a claw attached to the end that it will use to pick up those instruments

and place them on the ground.

In other words, the highly-sophisticated robotic lander we're sending to another planet is

basically a glorified claw machine.

Unlike the machines you dump money into at the arcade, though,

the lander's mechanism is designed to actually pick things up.

The mission team considered a few other options, but there were problems with all of them.

A magnet, for example, might not work if too much dust got in the way.

It's actually a pretty cool bit of engineering, the mechanism opens up by heating up wax,

which then expands, putting pressure on a rod that opens the claw.

Then you just lower the open claw onto whatever instrument you want to move.

They all have hooks for the claw to grab onto.

When the wax cools, a spring pushes the rod back into place, closing the claw.

And once it's in place, it will stay closed even with the instrument pulling down on it,

unlike the claws in arcade machines, which are designed to open when something pulls down on them.

So if InSight happens to find any little three-eyed green aliens waiting for it on Mars,

they won't stand a chance.

Stunts From Arrow In Real Life (CW, Parkour) - Duration: 5:42.

What's going on guys? This month we're gonna be getting a new season of the arrow TV show

So we're gonna recreate the stuff from that. Don't forget to hit that like button

So the first stunt we're gonna do is when the arrow does a huge backflip off a structure

So he does what we call backflip layout which just means that he's not in the tuck position

He's straight and I'm gonna be recreating it by doing it off this big structure right here

So this next stunt is a really cool one

We have the arrow doing an aerial off the top of the truck onto the lower part of the truck

So I'm gonna recreate that stunt by doing the aerial off of this, over this gap, onto this lower block here

So for this stunt we have Arsenal hopping on top of a car to do an aerial twist off of it

So I'm gonna hop up this block just like he does and then do the aerial twist just like Arsenal

In this stunt we have the arrow jumping over a big gap to do a Kong vault over some crates

So I'm going to do that stunt by jumping off of this block, over this huge gap here, to do a Kong vault on this block here as if this is the crates

In this stunt we have Oliver Queen getting over a huge fence by using a gate vault

So since I don't have a gate over here, I'm gonna be going outside to recreate that stunt

So the next stunt is someone from the league of villains doing an aerial twist on the ground

So I'm gonna be recreating that by doing the aerial twist here and

Hopefully I'll land in a similar position that he does which is something like the superhero landing like this

So in this stunt we have Sara doing a roll over a table and after her roll she does a kick to hit the arrow

So I'm gonna recreate that by doing the same roll that she does over this block over here and then when I come out of it,

I'm gonna kick this block as if it's the arrow and hopefully it will fall down just like this

So in this next stunt we got Oliver Queen running really fast towards a fence and then he gets over it using a two-handed vault

So just like the other one I'm gonna be going outside to recreate that and hopefully I'll get over the fence just like him

In this stunt we have Roy Harper hopping on top of a car to do a side flip off of it

So I'm going to recreate it just like him by hopping up this block and doing the cool side flip right off of it

So this next one is an easy one, but it's also a fun one. We have Oliver Queen doing a speed vault over something

So I'm just gonna do this speed vault on this block over here

So in this next one, we only see about half the flip, but it was just too good to pass up

It's basically just the arrow doing a Webster off of a structure

So I'm going to recreate it by doing that Webster off of this which is basically a front flip off of one foot instead of two

So this next one is an original one that I haven't recreated yet from movies

we have black Canary's sitting on top of a bar, and she

dismounts it by falling behind and then landing on the ground

So I'm gonna be going outside to try and find a bar and I'm gonna sit on top of it just like her

Fall behind and hopefully land on the ground with my feet

LGR - Awesome Animated Monster Maker - Duration: 9:14.

Greetings and today we've got a neat little program that I recently got in a box of goodies.

Awesome Animated Monster Maker, developed by the ImaginEngine Corporation and released

in 1995 by Houghton Mifflin Interactive for Macintosh and Windows PCs.

My interest was piqued as soon as I unboxed this in my October 2018 donations video, and

judging by the comments I got about it a fair number of you were as well.

While I don't have any memories of playing this as a youngin, it sure seems like the

kind of thing I might've enjoyed.

I mean just look at that cover art, I would've been all over this when I was 7 or 8 years old.

This program was one of the first pieces of software from HMI's CreActive series in

the mid '90s.

A main selling point was that it included both enjoyable software for young children,

as well as some additional real world activities so that kids wouldn't be sitting in front

of a computer all day.

So it wasn't quite classified as edutainment, but it went out of its way to make a point

that kids could indeed still learn something from it.

Potentially, maybe, eh they tried.

Later entries in the Monster Maker series were more blatantly educational, but this

one really is just an activity center.

And it turns out that a sealed, original big box copy like this is pretty darn rare so

thanks again to Chris and Karen for the donation and the opportunity to crack it open and enjoy

the complete package like it's 1995.

Straight away inside you get the A2M2 Activity Book, one of the biggest selling points if

the box's marketing copy is to be believed.

Fun! Games! Puzzles!

Tricks and tips!

Even monstrous recipes and coloring book pages.

Yep, it's a book of kids activities all right, very much reminding me of those booklets

found in supermarket checkout lines purchased by flustered parents as a last ditch effort

to get little Billy to calm the heck down during the final leg of a longer than anticipated

road trip to visit Aunt Gretchen in Rhode Island.

Next up is a brief pamphlet detailing more of Houghton Mifflin's interactive computer

software thingymajigs, as well as a software registration card for registering the software

with a card.

And finally there's the jewel case holding both the software

on CD-ROM and a small instruction manual.

The latter isn't much to look at, mostly talking about how to install and troubleshoot

the thing, along with a grand total of three pages describing the product itself.

Which is fine, because once you get Awesome Animated Monster Maker installed you get a

debatably awesome non-animated monster maker tutorial walkin' ya through the whole thing.

-"Monster Maker lets you make a zillion different monsters!"

-"Click on the platforms to see new monster parts."

-"Stick the parts together in the Monster Chamber to build the monster of your dreams!"

At any time you can jump into the main program where you'll be greeted by Doctor Lizardlips:

a reptilian mad scientist in charge of the Main Lab.

-"Now YOU start dragging monster parts to the body!"

Well, the player's the one in charge, while the doc stands there remarking on your work

while occasionally pulling on a rubber ducky at your behest.

But yeah, the whole idea of this is to go about monster-making with animated awesomeness,

accomplished by clicking, dragging, and dropping any of the parts on-screen.

You get arms, legs, torsos, eyeballs, fuzzy bits, and even brains to adjust the traits

and voice of your monster.

Everything attaches to everything else, kinda like the game Spore but a good thirteen years

earlier.

There are also squeezable color pickles to mix up your creation's aesthetic, either

all at once or part by part.

And finally, there's a piece of Luggage called Rubbage that will delete your monster,

and an angry gray blob with a monocle known as the Exit Bug who will take you away from

the current room.

-"EXIT!"

[foyer music plays, monsters sounding off]

Speaking of rooms there are six more of them after the Main Lab, all of which are selected

through the Foyer.

We'll start with the Sewer Show hosted by Slippo and Mergatroid.

[monsters make music]

This is a room dedicated to song and dance, with no real goal except

to mess around and have fun.

Truthfully that's the goal of the entire program: screwing around and seeing what happens.

In this case it comes down to clicking on the instrument monsters and pressing various

keyboard keys to make your own monster join in the cacophony.

[monstrous musical cacophony]

Next we'll head to Kelpy's Undersea World, a watery

realm that provides access to all kinds of accessories for your monster.

It's also a good example of A2M2's randomly-generated dialogue.

-"Monster, do you ever tickle a porpoise with electric eel earwax?"

-"When pigs fly!"

There are a preset number of recordings of course, but for every quote unquote "conversation"

you have, the outcome will be randomly determined from a library of lines.

This ends up feeling like a game of Mad Libs playing itself in front of you, it's weird

stuff but it works.

Next we'll hit up the Personality Parlor, a room with a monstrous pipe organ and an

array of cuckoo clocks that alter your monster's mind.

Again it's just about having fun with what the program has on offer, so if you want an

angry monster that's continually quoting classic English literature or whatever, this

is the place to do it.

-"Woe unto me!"

Up next is Diaper Dan's Squash Court, the obligatory gross room.

This is a mid-1990s kids activity center, after all.

Dan is a big baby wearing a metallic diaper wielding a giant magnet that attracts garbage,

which he smashes into dustballs using his metal-clad diaper butt.

[gratuitous poop noise]

Again, mid-90s kids software, just roll with it.

The point of this area is to create new monster parts, accomplished by clicking each of the

dustball faucets until you get the number of the part you want.

Then clicking the zapper will turn the dust into the associated part.

Yeah you're constantly getting new pieces to adhere to your monster, so by the end of

your experience your creation looks like a Nickelodeon cubist painting.

And the final activity is contained within Spaghetti and Meatball's Kitchen, a cookhouse

run by a pile of living noodles and an irritable impaled ball of meat.

-"Monster, I heard your mom likes to feed to lobster lice sprinkled with dog dust!"

-"Did your mom ever feed you that?"

So the idea here is that every letter of the alphabet has a corresponding ingredient in

the kitchen, which you can find by either clicking its location or typing on the keyboard.

And if you enjoy all kinds of ample alliterative awesomeness then this is where it's at.

-"Snore of a slimy sea slug!"

-"Half the hair from a happily howling hyena head out of a hole."

Spelling out words results in recipes, creating further possibilities for monster customization.

Not every combination works though, so, sorry: no LGR easter eggs here.

Once you've reached a self-directed conclusion to the making of your awesome animated monster,

you can bring them over into the Photo Studio.

Here your monster's mug is captured for posterity to be displayed in the Rogues Gallery,

in either full color or line drawing form, each suitable for printing.

And at this point the only thing left to do is to actually print the thing out and enjoy

the uniquely-shaped fruits of your labor on a piece of paper.

Neat!

And that is Awesome Animated Monster Maker, a delightful creativity and curiosity-driven

experience that really is a fun time for people of all ages, exactly like the box art promised.

It's not likely to keep you occupied for more than ten minutes, at least if you're

someone in their 30s farting around to make a YouTube video that only loosely ties into Halloween.

But if I put myself in the sticky shoes of a seven year old in 1995, this program would've

been more awesome than a handful of soon-to-be-discontinued PB Crisps.

Okay maybe not that awesome but still pretty friggin rad.

I was enamored by pretty much any kind of animated CD-ROM activity center at that age

and the absurdity of this one would've absolutely been my jam, so I'm a tad envious of you

LGR viewers that got to play around with this when it was new.

Even if it's not as involved as the later Ultra Edition of the program, which included

a bunch of improvements and even some games to play.

At the very least though, the original Awesome Animated Monster Maker is something that still

brought a smile to my face and a chuckle to my chuckle-maker over two decades later, and

for that I am grateful.

[continued monster music] -"EXIT!"

And if you found yourself grateful for this video, then wow, that's quite the compliment.

In that case hand over all your free time by watching these other videos I've made!

Or simply peruse at your own leisure, that works too.

Either way though, thank you for watching LGR!

Pocztówka z 1916 r., na której ukazany został Hotel Europejski w Warszawie - Duration: 1:57.

We present a charming postcard from 1916, on which was shown Hotel Europejski, one of the most famous and oldest Warsaw hotels.

"Europejski" was built on the site of the former Ogiński's palace.

The hotel was designed by Henryk Marconi with his sons.

The construction of a large building "at Saski Square 1" was realized for those times very quickly, because in the years 1855-56.

It was quickly expanded from 90 to 240 hotel rooms, thanks to the addition of a wing from the side of Krakowskie Przedmieście street.

There were apartments, salons, well-known restaurants and cafes.

Some of the rooms were rented for long periods, in which they had their own workshop, paiter Józef Chełmoński,

reportedly Stanisław Witkiewicz also worked on his paintings there.

The "Europejski" also housed the showroom of Aleksander Krywult and the Lourse café.

The hotel had sewerage and the first one a hydraulic lift in Warsaw.

But until the First World War, he did not have a central one because he did not want to give up the use of stoves.

During World War II, the hotel was occupied by the Germans. During the Uprising, the building was burned.

He was picked up from the ruins by a team led by Bohdan Pniewski

and in accordance with the order of the then authorities, he rebuilt the headquarters of the Military Political School.

It regained its original purpose only after 1956 and after many years of reconstruction.

From May this year - after another renovation - the hotel regained its splendor.

A beautiful drawing of postcards lets you look for a hotel building in its shape from a hundred years ago

and feel into the atmosphere of Warsaw from this period.
