Waching daily Oct 27 2018

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi & Russian President Vladimir Putin finalized the deal

of S 400 Triumf Air Defense on 5th Oct, during India-Russia bilateral annual summit held

in New Delhi.

The contract is worth 5.5 Billion USD and India will get 5 regiments of S 400.

The delivery is expected to start in the next 2 years.

S 400 will massively argument India's capacity to counter Pakistan's Air Force.

In this video, Defense Updates analyzes why India's Russian made S 400 will render Pakistani

Air Force useless?

Let's get in the details.

S 400 can track 300 targets at a time, engage up to 36 targets in parallel and simultaneously

launch 72 missiles.

The system has powerful hardware integrated with 'state of art' software platform.

S 400 uses multiple radars depending on threat perception.

The primary one is either the 91N6E Big Bird Acquisition and Battle Management Radar or

92N6E Grave Stone Multimode Engagement Radar These have a range of around 600 km.

The main radar is complimented by target acquisition radars like 67N6 Gamma De and 9N6 Protivnik

GE radars in L band, Nebo SVU in the Very High-Frequency band and Nebo m & Zebu M in multiband.

Nebo SVU & Zebu M have claimed capability against stealth aircraft.

The radars are very resistant to jamming.

S 400 deploys multiple missiles to cover its strike envelope.

1. Short-range 9M96E (40 km) with an active radar homing head having a speed of Mach 2.6

2. Medium-range 9M96E2 (120 km) with an active radar homing head having a speed of Mach 3

3. Long-range 48N6 (250 km) with an active radar homing head having a speed of Mach 14

4. Very-long-range 40N6 (400 km) with an active radar homing head having a speed of Mach 14

Hence, these missiles are not only guided by radars of S 400 but also have own active

and semi-active radar homing capability enabling them to keep chasing fast & maneuvering targets

till the last moment.

Another interesting point is that S 400 to be provided to India is more potent than the

one exported to China, as the Chinese system lacks the Very-long-range 40N6 missile.

S 400 vertical launch enables its missiles to have seamless 360-degree target envelop.

It is so potent that it can interpret targets flying at up to Mach 14.

As evident S 400 is a very capable system and is rightly considered to be a game changer

by many military experts.

The capacity of the platform can be judged from the fact that even Israel which has one

of the most advanced air force in the world had made high-level requests to Russia not

to provide S 300 to Syria.

Viewers may note that S 300 is a generation old platform compared to S 400.

Pakistan's air force consists of a mix of several different types of fighters, some

EW aircraft, several AWACS and diverse array of UAV.

The most potent of the fighters is the American made F 16 and has around 80 of these.

The PAF has added around 100 JF-17 Thunder which is developed in coordination with China.

The F 16's that Pakistan posses are fairly old and doesn't incorporate the latest components.

JF 17 though recently acquired is designed for affordability and lacks 'state of art'

sensors or avionics.

None of these jets were designed to be stealthy and have large Radar Cross Section (RCS) which

makes them very vulnerable to a potent Air Defense System like the S 400.

The jets will not be able to avoid detection and once detected they will have no way to

'outrun' or 'outmaneuver' the missile launched by S 400.

Pakistan at this point is in no position to acquire 5th generation fighters as it is in

massive debt and seeking loans from external sources like International's Monetary Fund

(IMF) to keep its economy afloat.

India may choose to deploy 2 of its 5 regiments along the Indo-Pak border.

In this case, almost the entire Pakistan will be under the scanning envelop of S 400 and

a major part will be within its striking range.

That will mean Pakistani aircraft will be tracked as soon as they take to the air.

This has massive tactical implications going forward, as Pakistan's Air Force will not

be in any position to launch a surprise attack on India.

Having an element of surprise is key to winning wars, and this will be taken away from Pakistan.

Also, India will be in a position to take down Pakistani aircraft within Pakistani airspace,

if required.

Clearly, deployment of S 400 will tilt the tactical balance heavily in India's favor

vis-à-vis Pakistani Air Force.

[막달렌] 트랜스 화장실에 대한 대답 - Duration: 7:09.

The American government is partially funding the European Trans Lobby.

So I'm gonna talk about a topic of American policy - trangender bathrooms.

Jaclyn Glenn, atheist. She's sort of taking the worst bits of liberal feminism -

- when I say liberal, I never mean it in a good way -

- and the worst bits of antifeminism and combined them to make

this sort of monster.

I mean, of all the important things in the world that we could be talking and debating about, we're talking about who can go into what bathroom to take a shit.

Take that up with the trans lobby, Jaclyn.

Because it wasn't anybody else who brought up this nonsense.

Let's say I were a transgender woman...

Okay.

I can't go into the women's bathroom because all the women are gonna think I'm some sort of weird pedophile.

When's the last time you went into a women's toilet and you got questioned on whether you're female or not?

I'm guessing that hasn't happened recently.

And then I can't go into the men's bathroom, either. Because if I walk in looking like a woman, I'm gonna get the shit beat out of me.

Despite all the media attention that this is getting, I still haven't heard of a single case where a male transwoman went into a men's bathroom and got the hit kicked out of him.

Not one.

(singing) Let them pee... let them pee...

They can't hold it in anymore...

(playing "Let It Go" from the movie "Frozen") Let it go, let it go. That perfect girl is gone.

Jaclyn: (continuing to sing) I don't care, what the right wing says.

Thanks for ruining my favorite song, Jaclyn.

If only there was a way we could research, to find out the number of people who are transgender who are actually pedophiles.

Oh my god! There are!

And guess what? Transgender people aren't really a threat!

We're not talking about [how] trangender people generally are, we're talking specifically [about] male transwomen [with] the same pattern violence and sex offenses as ordinary males.

Any you know what? If a guy just throws on girls' clothes so that he can walk into a women's bathroom and creep on people, then guess what?

That's illegal! And they'll be arrested! Just like any guy that would walk into a women's bathroom to creep.

Magdalen: Daniel Muscato didn't have to throw on any women's clothes for you to send him a International Women's Day "love you girl" tweet.

Daniel Muscato - Danielle Muscato.

And why are we only worried about little girls?

Why aren't we worried about little boys?

I mean, aren't they just as much of a concern?

Have you never seen a mum take her little boy into the female's?

There's a reason why women do that with their young sons.

I mean, the likelyhood of a man, who's a priest, walking into a public bathroom and molesting a boy - the odds of that are way higher than a transgender woman walking into a bathroom and doing anything wrong.

They've done reports on child abuse in the Catholic church. There have been a lot of female victims.

You've obviously not looked into that issue.

And for some reason, the concern with this thing is always brought up for transgender women walking into a women's bathroom.

You don't really hear anybody bitching about a transgender man walking into a bathroom that's, you know, got the gentalia of a woman.

That's not really an issue for anyone, so I guess we're sexist.

This coming from someone who says that men are just gonna beat the hell out of trans in the male toilet?

Who's being sexist there?

(imitating posh woman's voice) Oh, but the odds are so much higher of a man being a creep and dressing like a woman to go in and creep on girls.

If it's sexist to call men violent, then why are you saying that they're a risk to transgender people?

I guess we're sexist again there.

Because like I said, we're not concerned about the little boys who are at risk from all the pervy men that walk into their restrooms.

That's 'cause little boys usually go in with their mum unless they have their dad to protect them!

See! It's not legal to be a perv!

If you're a guy who wants to molest a boy, you walk into a men's bathroom and something bad happens.

That's illegal!

You get - arrested!

Same thing that would happen if a guy, dressed up as a woman, walked into a women's bathroom and did something bad to a little girl.

You get - arrested!

Okay, Jaclyn.

Let's just get rid of sex segregated toilets, changing rooms, prisons.

Get rid of it all, because everybody who commits a crime always get arrested.

And there's no point making in predictions based on statistical information.

Because we can just arrest everybody.

That's not what we're debating right now!

We're debating whether not transgender people can walk into the restroom of the gender they identify with.

You seem to get all irate about sexism. Have you even considered what it means to identify with a gender?

To identify womenhood as femininity, is about as sexist as you can get.

Now apparently the American Family Association, which is some kind of conservative Christian group -

What is it with you liberals were you always have to attack the people?

Catholics spoke out against sterelisation in the US.

Sometimes being Christian doesn't automatically nullify their opinion.

They do stuff that is good.

Occasionally.

They wanna call for a boycott, and just ban all of the Target stores.

Boycotting is not the same thing as banning.

Don't equate those 2 things.

They are choosing not to give their business to a company that is doing something which they object to.

And that's their right.

It's not silencing, or censoring anyone.

And it seems like everytime there's ever "family" in some sort of group, it's some sort of right-wing hateful group.

Plently of Christians, Muslims, and Jews are not hateful people.

Despite what the most extreme parts of their religion engage in.

It's really unfair to accuse people of being hateful just because they're religious.

It's objectional to infer that this is just an issue for religous people.

It's a big issue for women and girls.

Whether they're religous or not.

"Focus on the family!" I'm so tired of people's bigoted bullshit!

You're the one that's claiming someone can "identify" as a member of the opposite sex purely by looking feminine.

This is the most dogmatic ideology since the Abrahamic faiths.

In my opinion, the best solution to this whole thing would be either A: get the fuck over it and let transgender people use whatever bathroom they choose to use -

96% of homocides worldwide were caused by men.

These people are somehow not included in the group of men because... they say so.

- Or B: have gender neutral bathrooms!

There's a unisex changing room in swimming baths in Edinburgh.

I used to go there. My boxing coach said that I could do the sauna training.

It was really handy being able to chat to him.

Parents going in with different sex kids.

I don't have an issue with that.

However, I appreciate why some women do.

Women need to be asked about this.

And not just you as an individual, me as an individual.

Women.

I might be okay with it.

That might stop them going swimming.

Everyone has their own stall. You walk out, and there are sinks.

You take a shit, you take a pee, you wash your hands and ya leave.

Why is this something that we have to debate?

I've actually used a lot of different unisex toilets.

You've got a fucking queue 3 times longer because men, who would have used urinals - which is really quick for them -

- they're now using cubicles and they're pissing all over the seat and it fucking stinks.

Like I said at the beginning, I feel like this whole thing is kinda stupid and that's why I answered it with a stupid song.

A lot of women have experienced sexual assault.

We've actually got justification for being afraid of men.

It's not irrational.

It's nor right-wing.

And it's not a joke.

WHAT IS THIS THING!? Mystery Treasure! - metal detecting uk - Duration: 6:13.

We have these really big big big holes again. What are we expecting this time?

It's a super steady clear signal. It can not be iron.

We are so deep and we still don't get any signal with the pinpointer.

Just with the metal detector.

Ah, I do not know? Meteorite?

Meteorite? Buried treasure? Meteorite again?

Oh yes!

I can't tell for sure what it is, but I know it's gonna be valuable.

It is! That I know too.

How is the digging going?

Well... It is... The ground is rock hard here.

One inch at the time.

There is some tile coming up.

This has to be treasure. Just has to be.

It hast to be. This is like our last day in England detecting. Probably.

Don't hit it with the shovel.

Careful.

Maybe pot of silver.

Pot of silver?

The signal would match that.

Yeah, last time I found a pot of silver it had exactly that sound, or signal.

So it could be. It could be.

I am guessing it's gonna be this big, not iron, but some kind of metal... lump.

Or a piece of a plow.

No, no. This is a steady signal. So high.

If it's a piece of a plow we are not gonna publish this video. Don't worry about that guys.

Yeah, don't trust Emil on that one.

We will get back to you in a couple hours.

Getting pretty excited right about now.

Anything there?

This could be our payday.

That's the money layer. - Again.

We are just reaching the money layer, as you have seen in our other episodes.

This is the technique for digging deep holes in hard ground.

We are going deeper and deeper.

You just have to apply all the weight and just slide it in there between the sheets of silver.

Somewhere there in the middle.

Sometimes it's really difficult to push it really deep if it's too dry.

You should have some water to make it a little softer.

Or slaves digging. Well, slaves digging would be even better.

You can apply for the next season.

You have me here?

Well it was your signal and you were like hey I need help digging.

Now we are getting close. Now something is moving.

Ancient people used to hide pots of tresure, coins, jewelry in the middle of the woods, forests and swamps.

Wherever they could quickly dig it down.

Before invading army approached them. This could be one of those.

It would fit that very well since we don't know what was here before.

If you had a treasure you preferably wanna hide it somewhere where no one can see you.

And where there's nothing else. There's not many other signals around here. This is the only major one.

So we might be on to something.

We just switched digger here.

Fresh muscles. Oh, that is another technique that he got.

That is the Joel special.

We got the glory hole right here.

Steady. The Deus is chirping like a bird.

Like a really good signal.

For you Deus users this is how a big silver hoard should sound like.

You can't get a better signal than that.

It's the ultimate. It's the wet dream.

We just hit metal in the hole.

Something there. Gonna zoom in on it. Can you clean it up a bit?

Can clearly see it's metallic. We don't know yet what kind of metal.

We don't know how big, we don't know the geometry. But we are gonna find out!

Wow! We got some new interesting stuff from the hole.

Yeah, there is some white ceramics.

Is it ceramic? or bone?

Ceramic.

That would indicate something old.

It should.

The mystery deepens!

The mystery deepens. So does the hole.

Come on Joel, dig dig.

Ok guys we got it. Something big just popped out of the hole

when Joel with his strong hands were using the shovel.

There were some farmers talking to us also. They weren't impressed with this piece

of lead. Buried 30 to 40 cm's in the ground.

Whyyy?

Well, it's heavy.

Henrik there is your treasure. You found it.

Thanks.

It was nice one.

What are you gonna do with it?

Two pound of lead.

Sell it on the market?

Ebay, probably.

That is a good idea.

Fetch good money.

Oh well....

Apollo's First Manned Mission Was Live Streamed in Space | Apollo - Duration: 5:15.

After the Apollo 1 disaster, NASA had to retrace its every move, piecing together the reasons

why the first manned mission went catastrophically wrong.

Three astronauts were dead and the space program was on pause.

And while it was one of the darkest times in NASA's history,

the tragic accident likely saved the Apollo Program.

Up until Apollo 1, the United States was making major progress on its mission to the moon.

But, eventually, speed surpassed safety, and it ended in disaster.

For months after the fatal fire, NASA's investigators tore apart the charred Apollo 1 spacecraft.

The exact cause of the blaze was never identified, but the final report highlighted a number

of factors including the spacecraft's pure oxygen environment, the amount of combustible

materials in the crew cabin and the inward-opening hatch.

Many of these issues were raised by the Apollo 1 astronauts.

But the crew, along with NASA, knew that the Apollo missions walked a dangerous line of risk and reward.

Before his fatal mission, Apollo 1 Command Pilot, Gus Grissom, wrote that "The conquest

of space is worth the risk of life".

To prove that the astronaut's deaths weren't in vain, NASA decided to rebuild.

The Apollo spacecraft immediately underwent major modifications.

Unlike the block I Command-Service Modules, the redesigned spacecraft, the block II CSM,

was equipped with an outward-opening hatch

that could be released from the inside in seven seconds.

Arguably, the most incriminating error with the Apollo 1 spacecraft was the fact that

the sealed cabin was pressurized with 100-percent oxygen.

This system would likely operate safely in space, but at sea-level, the high pressure made the

Apollo 1 spacecraft extremely combustible.

So moving forward, NASA would use a mixed gas atmosphere while on the launch pad and

then switch to a single pure oxygen atmosphere once in space.

Along with fireproofing as much of the CSM as possible, the agency also made structural

changes to its launch complex and mandated strict safety procedures

for both astronauts and ground control.

NASA also needed to decide how it would proceed with the subsequent Apollo missions.

Ultimately, the agency decided that its next three uncrewed missions would be dubbed

Apollo 4, 5 and 6.

The missions would carry out test flights for the Saturn V rocket, redesigned CSM spacecraft

and Lunar Module.

About 20 months after the fire, NASA was ready for another manned Apollo mission.

On October 11, 1968, Apollo 7 successfully took to the sky and entered orbit.

The mission's objective was to ensure the redesigned CSM was capable of operating

effectively in Earth orbit.

The Mission Commander, Wally Schirra, was the only astronaut to fly in the Mercury,

Gemini and Apollo programs.

He was joined by rookies, Walter Cunningham and Donn Eisele.

All eyes were on the Apollo 7 team, literally.

The crew, albeit reluctantly, put on the first live TV broadcast in space.

Nicknamed the "Wally, Walt, and Donn Show", during the transmissions, the astronauts entertained

viewers by showing off the effects of microgravity and preparing hot meals in their tiny cabin.

Everything seemed to be working perfectly, well, everything except the astronauts' immune systems.

The entire crew was hit with a nasty cold.

And in space, fluids don't drain like they do on Earth, so their symptoms were exceptionally bad.

Despite the added discomfort and difficulty, the Apollo 7 crew successfully tested the

major aspects of the redesigned CSM, including the engine, which in later missions would

need to fire the spacecraft into and out of the moon's orbit.

Once ready to return home, the astronauts fired the service module's propulsion system,

inserting the spacecraft into a trans-Earth injection.

The command module's heat shield proved capable of withstanding nearly 3,000 degrees

celsius during descent.

The parachutes deployed and the spacecraft safely splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean.

After 10 days and 20 hours, the Apollo 7 astronauts were finally able to blow their noses.

The successful end to the Apollo 7 mission proved that NASA's hard reset was worth it.

In the months since the Apollo fire, the space program reinvented itself, showing that it

was dedicated to ensuring the safety of its own.

But unforeseen circumstances would force NASA to once again rapidly change course and take

on an even greater risk for Apollo 8.

What was supposed to be another mission within Earth's orbit, wound up becoming a dangerous

trek to the far side of the moon.

In 1968, the same year as Apollo 7, NASA marked its tenth anniversary.

If you want to learn more about the agency's first missions and the disastrous start to

the Apollo Program, check out this playlist here.
