How to add YouTube subtitles 2018 - Duration: 4:00.

Adding subtitles to your YouTube videos

is a great idea from an accessibility

point of view for your audience and also

if they're in a situation where they

can't listen live perhaps in an office

environment. I'll show you how thanks to

YouTube automatically created subtitles

it's easy to edit and then publish your.

subtitles. Here we go. So here I am in

Video Manager which is under creator

studio and then I just click on the

video that I want to edit. So I'll click here

and say edit. Now bear in mind that what

I'll show you the automated subtitles

will take a few minutes to appear

especially if you've got a longer video

but once you've allowed enough time you

simply go to subtitle/CC and

there hopefully it will say publish English

automatic. Now you do have an option if

you wanted to to add a completely new

set of subtitles and you can then

transcribe individually listen back to

each section. Now that's going to take

slightly longer unless there was an

issue with sound and the subtitles that are

automatic aren't that accurate. But if

they are you, maybe it's just a case

of going through editing a few adding a

few capitals and that sort of thing and

you're good to go. So simply go to edit

and you'll see the subtitle sections and

the timing appear on the left and as

you play the video I'll just add the sound

now

And as soon as you

stop typing it won't resume until you're

ready to. So if like me you'll be using

YouTube so should be you have

been

You will no doubt have seen

So this is a five-minute video it would

probably take in the region of 10 to 15

minutes maximum to edit and have that

ready and once you're ready and once

you're happy with it you simply save

timings. What will happen is there'll be

two versions. There will be the original

which is still live and then the pending

publication. So all you'll need to do at

that point is unpublish the

automatic ones so you can first say

umpublish and then you can simply say

delete draft and confirm delete draft.

That should leave you with just the one

that you've started to edit or completed.

And once it's completed you go through

to that once you've finished all the

edits you want click here on the drop

down and you can download it. For example

LinkedIn now except subtitle files in

the .SRT format Facebook does as well.

So you could create the subtitles here

and then reuse them elsewhere in other

platforms. How great is that?

So subtitles are well worth spending a

bit of time on. It helps increase more

traffic because it is easier to find YouTube

knows more about what the video is

talking about and links it to other

videos so it could suggest your content

and help you get more traffic so that's

it from me I'm Paul from PR Wilson media

your social media personal trainer

Cheers

YouTube Premieres: The Ultimate Guide to More Views ⭐🎬📊 - Duration: 10:54.

(light dance club music)

- This is a screen

that you're going to have to get familiar with.

It's part of YouTube Premieres,

this is everything you need to know about it.

My time is up, so let's do this.

- VidIQ. (upbeat rhythmic music)

- [Woman] vidIQ.

- [Man] VidIQ.com

- In a nutshell, YouTube Premiers allows

you to livestream your video on-demand content.

You upload a video, schedule it to publish

at a future time and date,

which then allows your biggest fans to all watch a video

in unison, whilst commenting on it, just like a livestream,

and it allows you, the video creator,

to take part in that conversation.

The difference, of course,

is that it's not a livestream, it's pre-recorded content.

You're just there, engaging with the conversation

as the video goes live, and once the Premiere has finished,

it acts as a normal video on YouTube.

Hello to all of you, watching right now,

and to all of you in the vidIQ community.

My name is Rob.

If this is your first time here

in these glorious YouTube surroundings,

we are indeed the YouTube tool and channel

that aims to help you get more views

in less time by educating you on your YouTube journey.

Our Chrome extension is free to download and a link

is in the description.

Now I understand the irony of this video.

It's all about YouTube Premieres

but it's not a Premiere itself

because YouTube haven't rolled it out to all channels.

Only a select few have it.

Very fortunately one of our good friends, Liron,

does have access to it, so he was our guinea pig to help us

show you how it works.

Let's take a look. (upbeat music)

Currently you can only set up a YouTube Premiere

via a desktop upload but you can watch a YouTube Premiere

through the mobile application.

Obviously, when you upload the video you don't want

to publish it immediately so make sure the upload

is not set to public.

When you add your video and reach the upload page,

if you are eligible, you will see this Premieres section.

Since almost all video creators already have the option

to schedule videos, setting up a Premiere is nothing more

than a toggle.

So if we schedule a video, it looks like this

but if we get Liron to sort of all these bits and pieces

then toggle the Premieres button on and adjust the date,

the publish button now looks like this.

So YouTube Premieres are super simple to set up

for video creators who are eligible

and have access to the tool.

(bell ringing)

But, what about the other side of the spectrum?

How does a YouTube Premiere appear

to the average YouTube viewer?

Let's take a look.

You can search for content that is scheduled to Premiere

but you can't filter by Premiered content.

On YouTube browse pages, it will look very similar

to a scheduled live stream.

You can set a reminder or jump on to the watch page

and it will look something like this.

So as soon as the watch page is available you can post

comments and wait for the Premiere to start.

Liron's looking very serious

with his green hair. (bell ringing)

What else do we need to know?

The first oddity is that when the video

is in a pre-Premiere state, it's hard to watch.

You can't watch it privately on the watch page

and when you try and add cards and end screens

in the classic studio, it just shows a thumbnail,

making it difficult to reference things correctly.

At least that was the case in Liron's experience.

However, if you use the new video editor

in the Creator Studio Beta, you can add

end screens and watch your video.

So bear in mind that in the first few months of Premieres,

the tool may be in a state of flux.

All right then, Liron's just about done editing his video,

the Premiere is almost ready to go live.

Let's find out what happens.

The first thing to note is that the Premiere starts

with a two minute countdown.

So if you schedule a video to go live on the hour,

the two minute countdown starts on the hour.

Just like a live stream, you will see how many people

are watching and most crucially, each of these viewers

has the opportunity to interact with the video content

through live chat, but only during

the Premiere of the video.

Since vidIQ is subscribed to Liron's channel

and you should too, a link is in the description,

a notification appeared on my desktop

bang on time for the Premiere.

So as you will find, just like live streams, it may take

a short period of time before your audience peaks

on the video, which is no doubt why the countdown

is there in the first place.

All right, let's speed this bad boy up

and get to the Premiere itself.

(downbeat techno music)

- We love using our Chrome browser on our computer

and our mobile phone.

And it does certain things really, really right

but there's a bunch of stuff

that it gets really, really wrong.

Today, I'm gonna show you how to fix those wrongs

with these settings.

Let's do this.

(lively music)

The first feature I wanna look at is--

- So, yeah its a pre-recorded video acting like

a YouTube livestream right now.

Some things to know during the Premiere, you can't scrub

the video forwards but you can scrub it back but it doesn't

tell you how long the video is.

If you try and speed up the video,

it may fun fast for a couple of seconds,

before defaulting back to a normal speed

because, essentially, everybody should be watching

exactly the same thing as it's running forward.

All the chat conversation you see is linked to the video,

just like a live stream, so viewers who watch the video

after the Premiere will see this chat

but they can't contribute to it.

They can post comments as normal, however.

And once that Premiere run of the video ends,

if you go back to the watch page it runs just like

a normal video on demand.

Notice, there is no two minute count down now.

Oh, and instead of seeing when the video was published,

you'll see when it was Premiered.

Now in terms of the analytics you don't get any

of the real time data you get from a live stream.

All of the viewers from the Premiere

are automatically transferred

onto regular YouTube analytics.

If you really wanted to look at the analytics

just as the Premiere finishes, you could go

to the Creator Studio app on a mobile device,

go to the video in question,

and then even though it doesn't show any data for views

or watch time, if you tap on the graph and then change

the timeframe to 60 minutes, you should be able

to get an immediate feedback from the Premiere

but it's not precise, I realize.

All right then, so those are the nuts and bolts, the guts,

the everything you need to know part

of YouTube Premieres functionality.

The next question is, should you use it,

if and when you have access to it?

Well, here's what we think are the pros and cons

of YouTube Premieres.

And let's be honest, I don't think a baseball cap

really works on me.

(hat thuds)

Let's carry on. (video beeps)

The biggest benefit would appear to be

promotion before publication.

We can confirm that Premiere videos

that have not yet been published do appear in search

and on channel pages.

So we can only assume that they will appear

in browse features too.

So being able to condition your audience

into knowing exactly when a video is released

and being able to promote it as such,

especially in a community tab,

is very enticing.

But this does lead to the question of how often

should you use a Premiere tool?

Imagine if everybody starts using it

for all of their videos.

The browse features, subscription boxes, channel pages,

they're just gonna be full of content that nobody

can actually watch yet.

So, do you save the Premiere tool for special occasions?

That's something that were gonna have to learn

as video creators as more of us get access to this feature.

On the flip side, being able to engage

directly with your audience, as it's being shown

for the first time, takes engagement to a whole new level.

Imagine being able to talk to Christopher Nolan

as you watched The Dark Knight Rises for the first time

and have him actually respond.

Now that just sounds cool.

However, what if nobody turns up to your Premiere?

That might leave you a little red faced.

Now, Liron has a healthy 8,000 subscribers

on his channel, but less than 10 people turned up

for this Premiere.

There was still some good engagement

but as a video creator you may feel a little disheartened

if less than 0.1% of your audience

is turning up for your content.

Now, there could be many reasons for this.

We asked Liron to do us a favor,

so he quickly punched out a video

and maybe the audience weren't too interested in the topic.

We just needed something that was gonna Premiere

and maybe it was posted at a time

that's not familiar with Liron's audience.

But the other potential worry is that these Premieres

perform like live streams and if you've ever done

a live stream, you will know that a very small fraction

of your audience turns up for that live stream.

Now granted, they could be on there for hours

and you get these watch time bombs in the short term.

But in the long term, live stream videos

tend to perform very poorly on-demand

because they're just not suited

to people watching the replays.

It's all about the interaction there and then.

So, could that early velocity of a video be really impacted

by a poor performance in the Premiere?

Again, that's something all of us

are gonna have to monitor very closely.

On the flip side, for those viewers who do turn up

for your Premiere, you're likely to get

very high watch time from them

because they're your most committed fans.

They want to see your content

before anybody else with the added attraction

of being able to talk to the video creator themselves.

That is very alluring.

(light dance club music)

Yeah, this countdown to your Premiere,

as of time of recording, you can't switch this off

and you can't customize it to fit your own branding.

On the plus side, Premieres are very simple to set up

with one toggle to click and a date to set up.

And when the video is live, people can contribute

to Super Chat, so you can actually earn more money

from that content even though it's not necessarily

a live stream.

But as a final caution to YouTube Premieres,

some content just isn't going to be suited

to that style of release.

Liron's video was a tutorial all about Chrome

and you would imagine that most viewers

would want to pause a video, rewind or skip forward

if they didn't find a tip useful

and Premieres just doesn't allow that.

And it's also a long-term gain video.

People aren't gonna rush to watch this tutorial.

It's gonna be found more in search intent

over a longer period of time as evergreen content.

So again, consider that and how it applies

to your content.

And finally, and perhaps the most exciting news of all,

YouTube themselves have said that Premieres

will be available to all video creators.

However, they are rolling it out

and you know what that means.

And will it actually be available to all video creators?

Hmm.

With all that being said, we're gonna throw this

over to your side of the fence.

Do you have YouTube Premieres?

What has been your experience of it?

If you haven't got it yet, what do you think

you're going to do with it?

And do you think this is a plus

for the whole YouTube ecosystem?

We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Now, this video wasn't sponsored by YouTube,

but I did recently have a chance to go to the Creator Store

in London, where, as you can see, I bought one or two

pieces of memorabilia including socks.

Now that you know everything you need to know

about YouTube Premieres, maybe you want to know more

about YouTube hashtags as well.

We've got an awesome video over here on the subject

and if you want to know more

about general YouTube tips, tricks and news,

we've got a playlist down here.

Enjoy the rest of your video-making day

and we'll see you on the rest of those videos.

Right now, that is a wrap.

Crystal Skull Makeup | Halloween with a #Cirqueway Twist | Cirque du Soleil Tutorials - Duration: 24:36.

Hi everyone! My name is Véronique.

I'm a makeup artist at Cirque since 8 years.

This year, I decided to take on

the creative Halloween makeup challenge

the Cirque way.

Today's character is Crystal Skull makeup.

I'll show you, step by step, how to achieve this look.

Check out the description below

to see the list of products and tools you'll need to complete the look.

So the first step is obviously the foundation.

You can use a liquid foundation, a cream base foundation,

whatever foundation you like.

I prefer to use a liquid foundation

just because I would like to have

something a little bit more sheer.

I like to apply it with a brush

starting in the centre of the face

so you can cover a little bit more the imperfection of the skin.

As usual, the imperfections are found in the center of the face.

We start in the center and we stretch softly

until the edge of the face.

Don't forget to blend down the neck and a little bit on your ears.

You can swirl, you can do stripes,

you can do whatever movement you like,

just spread it out.

Once you've applied the foundation

pretty much everywhere on your face with the brush,

you can use a little sponge, a wet sponge

to even out everything

just to make sure there is no lines

or weird clumps of foundation,

just make it all soft.

Once the foundation is done,

you can go on with your highlight.

I used a liquid highlight

just because I wanted something a little bit more sheer,

more fashion, less cakey than a cream highlight,

but between you and me,

you can obviously use a cream highlight if you want.

Just make sure that you use at least

three shades lighter than your skin tone

so it makes a contrast.

You can dab along your cheekbones,

the bridge of your nose,

the bottom of your forehead,

around the mouth, on your chin.

Yeah, that's pretty much it.

And of course with your sponge,

dab, dab, dab, dab, dab, dab, dab, dab, dab,

just to make sure everything is nice and blended.

You don't want to see any outlines

between your highlight and your foundation.

So once your foundation and highlights are done,

you need to set your makeup.

You'll need for this a powder puff and translucent powder,

setting powder actually.

You need to apply the powder with a powder puff

and fold it like a little taco

and then just press everywhere.

This will make the difference between

makeup that lasts for 5 minutes or 5 hours.

Make sure you powder under your eyes specifically

and on your forehead,

everywhere that creases the most.

Touch up with the egg

and powder puff;

egg, powder puff; egg, powder puff;

this way, you make sure there's no creases on your makeup.

Once you have powdered your face generously,

just use a big brush and remove the excess.

The makeup will take the powder it needs

and simply take off the rest.

So, once you've powdered your makeup,

then you're ready to go on for the contouring.

Yay!

For the contouring,

you'll need a big fluffy brush with a bit of firmness

and some copper powder.

Don't use something too orangey or too light,

you want to have something more brownish-copperish,

and shiny, why not?

So you want to go on your temples,

under your cheekbones,

on the side of your nose,

in the crease of your eye.

Where else?

I think that's pretty much it.

Well, you'll see.

So while you apply,

just do back-and-forth movements with your brush

so you can blend.

Oh yeah! Under the jawbone.

I forgot that part.

So, you apply and you blend, and you apply and you blend.

Just follow your bone structure so this will enhance your natural skull shape.

When you get to your smaller areas,

like the side of the nose and the crease of the eye,

use a smaller brush.

Just make sure you use something very fluffy,

so that the bristles are not too firm, otherwise it won't really blend,

it will just make lines.

You don't want lines, we want blending.

So, once you've done your contouring,

you can come back with more pigmented copper colour,

just a little bit under your cheekbone and on your temples.

Follow also your hairline.

This will just give a little bit more richness to the colour,

it will be less dull and flat.

After contouring, guess what?

Highlight!

Yeah, so I'll switch with a highlight powder,

something not too bright though, just really shimmery.

I'll go along my cheekbones

and the base of my forehead, the bridge of my nose,

around the mouth, on the chin.

Did you notice these are the exact same place

we applied the liquid highlight before?

Now, we're ready to work on the eyes.

I kind of start with the plum colour,

something more matte because I want to have a little bit more depth,

and you can use a round fluffy brush.

Yay, fluffy!

Because you want to have something blended.

So, start applying your colour at the outer corner of the eye

and then push along your eye crease.

And the secret of blending is

back-and-forth, back-and-forth, back-and-forth.

Once you've worked on the top of your eyes,

you can switch with something,

a brush that's a little bit more tight and thin

to do under your eyes.

Same thing as on top,

you start at the outer corner of the eye

and then you push towards the inner corner.

Oh yeah, use your fluffy brush just to finish your blending.

After the plum colour, you can switch with a dark brown.

Use a brush that is a little bit more firm

so you can have something more defined.

I came back with a fluffy brush just to blend,

that was a mistake.

Yeah, there you go, back on track.

So, you add a little bit more dark at the outer corner of the eye,

just a little bit smaller than your plum,

so then you'll have again more deepness in your colour.

It's all about dimension here,

so the lighter color which was a copper was thicker,

then you switch with the plum like medium-thick

and then you switch with the dark brown like something a little bit smaller.

While you've done this,

you can also continue along your lash line.

Start defining your eyes.

Oh yeah! I was thinking,

with the plum colour,

wouldn't that be great to add some depth

under the cheekbones and on the temples?

Yeah!

You can use the same brush that you applied the copper,

just go in the centre of your copper

and blend, blend, blend, blend, blend, blend.

Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth…

Seriously, the secret of blending is a lot of movement and low pressure.

Oh yeah, you can add shadow under the tip of the nose.

That's really nice.

Oh, and the crease of the chin.

My God, so much little details.

Oh yeah, one last place,

at the inner corner of the eye.

Yeah, I kind of forgot,

but that really adds something.

Sometimes when you do your contouring,

you realize that your highlight really miss contrast,

so this is where I realized

I should use a white shimmery powder

just on top of my highlight zones

just to give more punch.

The same thing as the contouring.

The previous highlight is something wider and larger,

but this white pigment will go just on smaller zones.

So the same areas that you applied the highlight before,

but a little bit smaller.

So it's like the highlight of the highlight.

Yay! Now we're ready to work on the lips.

So, for the lips,

seriously you can use anything you'd like.

I personally prefer liquid lipsticks,

you know the one that dries,

you can wear it, you don't feel it,

you can drink, you can give kisses

and you don't have to worry about anything.

So, I like to apply it with a brush,

even though it comes with a little applicator

just because the brush is a little bit more precise.

So, use the tip to really do your outline.

Oh yeah, that was tough.

It's really hard to have an even lip

because naturally we do not have even lips.

So with the brush, it's easier to fill those little gaps

and trick a little bit your lip liner.

After that, yeah, just fill it in.

Alright! Now, we're ready to continue our eyes.

So for this, just use your liquid liner.

Nothing specific,

you can use a gel liner, you can use a liquid liner,

you can use like a pen liner,

you can even use like water-based facepaint makeup to do your liner.

Seriously, it doesn't really matter. Just use what you like.

Once you've done your black liner,

then you can use your dark brown powder,

you know the one that you used around your eyes previously?

So, just use a firm brush and blend the top of your black liner.

This way, you'll have like a mini smoky effect.

And then once you're there,

why not push it into your eye crease?

Not all the way, but just a little bit.

Oh yeah, I'm touching up my liner because I realized it was,

not so clean.

You're able to come back if needed.

So, once you've done the top of your eyes,

you can use the same eyeliner under your eyes.

Go as close as possible to your lash line.

If you feel comfortable,

you can even apply it in the water line zone.

Once you've done your black line,

you want to go back with your brown powder

and blend it.

This is very important to blend it before it dries,

because once the black line is dry,

forget it,

you're not going to be able to have a nice blending.

Alright, now that we're done with the dark side,

let's switch to the light.

Yep, so we're gonna use the white eyeliner.

You can use also a white water-based makeup,

this is actually what I use, with a mini, mini, mini brush,

just to get close as possible to the inner corner.

What I feel that is really nice is also to shift that white

just above your black liner, near the inner corner.

I don't know if you follow me.

And before it dries, once again,

you want to use your white pigment,

you know the one that we've done the highlight of the highlight before?

So, simply dab over the inner corner of the eye before the white dries.

This will give a little shimmer

and it will blend also the ending of the white.

It just makes it more soft.

Yay! The party begins!

The skull shape.

Alright, so for this, you need water-based makeup.

Mix it with water, of course,

and use a brush that has the shape of a drop.

You want it more round and thick at the base,

going like really pointy at the ending.

So, simply follow your natural bone structure.

So, oh yeah, a trick:

when you press on the brush, it will make thicker lines,

but if you go just very gentle, it will make mini lines.

This way, you can have a line that goes from thick to thin.

Ah, look at this! Wooo!

Once you're done with the white lines,

you can now switch with black eyeliner,

just to add a bit more contrast,

especially under the cheekbones.

Yes, contrast!

Alright, now we're ready for the teeth.

You can use the same drop-shaped brush type,

but a little bit smaller,

so you can have lines that go from thick to thin

in only one brush stroke.

So, press and release,

press and release…

There you go.

After that, you can go around the skull shape

just to add lines,

just to give a bit more funkiness.

Go crazy.

Just follow your instinct.

After a while, just have a look at your makeup.

Just check if you need more contrast, if you need more blending.

Like here, I felt that the black lines were a bit like,

ugh, too sharp, too harsh,

so I used a little bit of black powder, just to soften it up

and after look around,

you can add brown powder next to the white lines

just to give more contrast.

I realize I put also black lines under my jawbone

just so it kind of separates the head from the neck.

But go crazy, just have a look, turn your head,

just see if something needs to be more contrasted.

Ah, my favorite part: the crystals!

Alright, so I don't know if you ever glued crystals before,

but a few tips here. Use eyelash glue.

You can use a normal latex one,

but if you want more durability, just use a latex-free lash glue.

This way, it will last a little bit longer,

especially if you're going to a party or a parade.

So, the big ones I just use my fingers,

but when you get to smaller stones,

what I recommend you is use the back of a brush,

like the back tip of a brush.

Put the glue on your face,

then with a tweezer, grab your crystal

and just glue it over the glue.

This will save you so much time

and so much crystals rolling on the floor.

When the stones are glued, then you have an overall view.

I felt it was a little bit dull,

so I wanted to add a bit more bling.

Yeah right, more bling.

So, I added dots.

You can add swirls, lines, flowers…

I'm just kidding, do whatever you like

and have a look of what you want to be more detailed.

So, since this makeup is all about contrast,

I realized that my eyes were missing a little bit of contrast,

so what's the opposite of the dark is the light, right?

So, I use a little bit of the white pigment over the eyes

just to give more punch,

so it really makes a contrast between white and black.

And after that, same thing on the lips,

a little bit of white pigment,

just so it shines and give more volume.

Now, guess what? The lashes!

Seriously, this really makes a difference

when you're doing a makeup just to complete the look.

Check this out.

Oh, I'm having a little bit of trouble here.

Use of course lash glue,

use the tip of the brush,

not the bristles but the opposite of the brush

and brush it along the edge of the lash.

So, the left one was a little bit better. Actually, much better.

So, the trick is hold your lash between your fingers like in a sandwich,

start applying near the inner corner following our lash line and then

boop-boop-boop-boop-boop until the outer corner.

There you go. You can brush them upward,

just make sure they're even.

There we go.

Ah, much better!

So, we're pretty much at the end of the makeup for now.

So, you can have an overall view.

Just check if you're missing contrast anywhere.

I realized that I was definitely missing contrast,

so I used the same black eyeliner

and I just went around my white lines,

just so they really pop.

Check if you need brown shadow,

just make sure everything is like super contrasted.

Alright, now that the makeup is done, what do you need?

Accessories!

Ta-dam!!

To complete the look, simply use a wig

and craft yourself a crown with stuff you have at home.

Be creative.

How To Get Into Real Estate Flipping - Duration: 12:49.

Friends, flipping has made me a lot of money but it pales in comparison to what

it has done for my good friend, Jerry Norton. So, I've got him as a guest today.

We're talking about how you enter the market and get into real estate flipping.

So today, we're going to cover real estate flipping 101.

-Alright. Welcome guys and I'm here with Kris. And we're going to talk about real

estate flipping 101 - How to get started in real estate flipping? If you're

excited about learning how to make money like right now, not a long term strategy

but a short term strategy, then that's we're going to be talking about today. -And

real quick pros and cons. I mean obviously, the pro is if I can flip a

deal, I can make a pile of money. And frankly, a lot of people get driven into

the game or real estate for the money. And there's can be a con to that. And the

con is is that, sometimes the people that are looking for the quick buck are not

always as thorough as they need to be to actually make sure they're doing the

deal the right way. -Yeah. -Gerry how many deals do you think you've done in your

lifetime? -Hundreds and probably thousands. I've been doing this full-time for 15

years, all across the US. So you know, a lot of deals. And you know what you make

a really good point? This strategy is about making short-term money right now.

But every time you do a deal, if you want to make more money, you got to do another

deal. It's exciting to kind of pad the bank account. But you can then also do

some long-term strategies or reinvest that capital into long term strategies.

-You know there's a lot of people that are here, they're like, "Hey, I need quick

cash. I'm going to do a flip. And then a lot of people come up with a like, "Well, every

X number of deals I do, I'm going to park my money into a hold." You know, for me, I'm

buying a couple hundred homes every single year that "Hey, I don't need the

money today. I don't need the money tomorrow. But in five years, I'm expecting

millions and millions and millions of dollars to come back to me." So, that's my

patience strategy. So, if you can combine to make money now and to make money

tomorrow together, this can definitely give you the tools that you need for

having a very successful strategy. And entryway into the game of real estate.

And today, I couldn't think of anyone better than my good friend Jerry to

really cover flipping 101 and the 3 things that you need to actually

get in the game. -Yeah, so let's keep it simple, right? We got 3 steps here. The

very first step is what we call finding or you know, deals. It's getting that deal.

And we often call that finding. And so, what that means is it means I got to go

out in my market or wherever I'm looking for deals. And I got to find that good

deal. Now, that's step number 1. -Now, by the

way on that first step, real quick, just give us a quick tip. What could someone

do to actually find a good deal? Well, in your market and wherever you live, whatever

market you're doing, there are people right now that are looking to sell their

property at a discount. So, it's got money in it, margin in it to make money and

they just want to get rid of that property because they have something

going on in their lives that's stressing them out financially, the property is

distressed. And they are very motivated to sell that property at a discount to

you. -And Jerry and I have shot some other videos. And what I want to do right here

is just quickly synthesize some of the best strategies that I've

been learning from Jerry and that we've both been engaging in. The first one I

want to bring up real quick. The double-dip. -That's a cool one. -That one is

basically where are going out to Realtors that represent these good deals and say, "Hey,

you can also represent me and get the full 6% commission." And now, all of the

sudden, you become their favorite client. And they're all

the sudden, boom! They're bringing deals to you.

What's another strategy that, Jerry someone could use for also finding some

good deals? -Well, you can build a referral network. We call those finders or bird

dogs. It's people that can go out in your market and when they identify, you know, a

vacant property or a neglected property or maybe a seller that's in financial

distress, they can bring that to you and say, "Hey, here's this motivated

seller I found. And you can pay them for that great deal." -Yeah and that's actually

one of my favorite strategies. Just get the word out there just say, "Hey, I

got money,V I'm looking for a deal and I'll pay you to find it for me because I

value what that is." -Yeah. So, there's a couple of strategies that you have. And

then probably a third and very typical one is just, listen. Just go find real

estate agents that specialize in finding good deals and say, "Hey, go to town and find

me a great deal." So, there's a number of ways to find a good deal. Real quick

though on flipping though. If you find a good deal, that doesn't mean it's the

deal you're going to do, right? -That's right. I mean, how often do you find something

that looks good on the outside and then you find out it's not? -Yeah, I could have

all kinds of things going on with that deal. -And so, that brings us to the

second step which is, what we call analyze. -That's right. So, what we have to

do once we found that good deal is more than likely there's been some neglect

going on. Sometimes not much, sometimes it just needs cleaned up. Maybe carpet and

paint. Sometimes needs everything. Needs new kitchens, new baths, new flooring, new

paint, new roofs. All you know, like it couldn't eat a lot of things. And

anywhere in between. So, what we need to do is we need to look at that deal and say,

you know, "If I were to get that deal and then I were to turn around and fix it up

at some extent. And then put it back on the market and look for a retail buyer

or a homeowner, what do all those numbers need to look like? Like where... How

do i factor everything in so that I actually make a profit?" -Yeah. And one of

our other videos that's connected to this, you'll be able to actually see

Jerry outlining his simple formula that he uses to determine if there's a good

deal what it's worth what he'll need to offer. Because you need to get it a

certain price that then factors in the repairs. -Yeah. -Factors in the carrying

costs of the money, the closing costs and your profit. And that will help you

figure out what does the sales price need to be. Is that realistic? what can i

buy it for? Can I get it? -Yeah. -I mean,

the real question is... It's not, "Is it a good deal?" The answer is yes if

you get it at the right price. -Right. So, what is that right price? Because

anything is a good deal if you get it at the right price. -If you can't get it in

that price, you just got a walk. -That's right. -That I'm going to tell you the deal

of the decade is coming along every single day. If you're looking in the

market, you've got a great team finding. And if you know how to analyze. And at

the end of the video, we are going to share with you a quick little hack that will

actually show you how to wrap this whole system into something far simpler.

Actually, find the deals for you, hand them off to other people. Get paid

up to $10,000. -You know, that's a great point. A lot of people say,

"There are no deals." What are you talking about? Yes there are. That's a

scarcity mindset. -Well, in the link in the description below,

Jerry's actually... He's got a little bit of a training that he does online for

you and then he gives you full access to actually his free property finder. And

what it'll do is it'll actually find the properties for you. So, that there's no

excuses. As long as he live in the United States, his system works inside of

America and every zip code. And will basically find all the under market

value properties that you can analyze. And that brings us to the third step

which is? -Funding. -This is kind of the fun one. Because this is when you get paid.

-That's right. So, once we've got that deal, we've analyzed it, we're going to assume

that we've now made an offer. You know, we got that deal, we got a contract under

that price. Well, if you're going to do a fix and flip, your next biggest obstacle is

funding. Somehow, there's you got to be able to pay for that property, to buy it

and fix it up. -You got to get some money. -Yeah. Bottom

line. -And there's a number of ways that you can do that. And then there's

actually like a really cool shortcut so you can avoid it. But I mean the big one

is, obviously there's you can find people out there that have the money that can

take it down cash. In one of our other videos, we actually talk about how you

find cash buyers. And it's actually kind of... Let's just give them a little

taste of it. It's a really cool ninja strategy. Where the MLS houses, all the

past deals and you can sort through and find the ones that have actually bought

cash in your area. And you could track down all of those buyers and say, "Hey, I

got another deal. -Yeah. That's right. -So, that's one way of getting an all-cash

buyer. But you've got to be able to line up the money if you're going to do the

whole flip. There is an alternative though where you can skip, you know... Think

about it this way. If you've trapped $50,000 of profit, how

would you like to walk away from 100% of the rest of the work?

But maybe get paid a quick 10 grand. What's that called? -We call that

wholesaling. And that's exactly it. You don't actually bring the money in to buy

the deal, you don't manage it, do the rehab, find a buyer, none of those steps.

You get to skip all of that, take a little bit of a profit. Leave enough meat

on the bone for the next guy. Let them do all the work. And then you walk away, you

take that little bit of money and what's cool is since it didn't take you any

time tied up in that deal, turn run go do another one.

-Yeah. So, there are literally some people out there that are in the flipping game

and they're managing all of the rehab, all of the work, everything. And then

we've got other people that say, "I always skip that part. I take the safest portion

of the profits. And I'm out of the deal." So, whether the numbers were

miscalculated or maybe the market takes a downturn or maybe it became more

expensive, you know, listen... I don't get the upside, I don't get the downside

because I took my money. And some people will literally specialize in wholesaling

and some people say, "No, no. I've gotten good enough at the flipping game that I

actually know my numbers and I'm good at it and I know how to win in it."

So, you got 2 options. -You know what's so cool though about that wholesaling

strategy is when that closing takes place, you get paid right up front. It

doesn't matter what that property does, doesn't matter what that investor ends

up doing with it. You don't even care if they rent it, flip it, you don't care

you're out. You make that chunk of money and you'd have to deal with any of that

hassle. That's a really exciting thing to do.

Friends, what we're really talking about today,

you know, when I look at how I retired at 26. And now, I'm back in the game doing

more real estate than ever before. Last year's my most profitable year in real

estate I've ever had in my life. When I look at what this is afforded me, because

in my life, it's it's allowed me to travel around the world, that's allowed

me to live in beautiful homes and drive nice cars and put my kids in whatever

schooling that I want and customized their education, you know, I mean some of

life's most precious memories for me come from the fact that there's always

been an abundance of money. And that's because I got in the game of real estate.

And that's really what we're talking about today. It is a game, it does have

rules. And you need to learn those rules. And if it for you, the game is, "Kris, I

want to get into the game of flipping." Then you need a mentor. You need someone

that can take you by the hand, show you the ropes, show you what a good deal is

what a bad deal is, help you find them. And I'm suggesting today that,

that mentor for you is Mr. Jerry Norton. The reason why is because this is his 15

year game. My 15 year game is holding homes over the long haul. And I'm

patient. For those of you that are like, "I need to make money now." -ATD? -Yeah, maybe.

But it's... -All though you have ATD's, so... -I can't tell if it's sometimes ATD and sometimes

it's like compulsive disorder. The reason why I'm suggesting Jerry is because he's designed a

software that will actually help you find the very best deals, his training

will teach you how to analyze and make sure it's got the proper numbers on it.

And he'll even pay you $10,000 when you did the work to find

the deal to actually not flip it. But if you want to flip it, there's additional

training and resources that will make sure that you do that the right way. He

really is the master of this niche. And if you want to learn more about what

that looks like, click the link in the description below.

Sign up for his free training online. Go through and have him share with you. And

then give them... Right there he's going to give you access. Here's the way... He's not going to

charge you for that. He will give you the access. Right now you're getting 1,500 to

2,000 people every week that are actually downloading your software for

free. They're doing deals. You never hear from some of them ever again. But they're

making money. Guys, Jerry's creating some real crazy awesome value in the world.

I recommend him as a mentor in your team. -And you know what Kris? You know you

might be thinking, "Well, why would you give me that for free?" Here's why. I'm

hoping that you'll go find deals and you'll bring them to me. I'll pay you $10,000.

But I'm hoping you'll use that software to bring me deals. I'll

pay you for them. So, I've got a real, you know, personal motivation for doing this.

-Well, and you know, it's kind of cool. Well, I like aligning with Jerry because on

the one hand, sometimes he's just helping people and they're growing. And he'll

never get anything out of it. And then there are other people where he might

make 50,000 on the flip after giving them 10,000. That's a huge financial win

to you. And that's also a financial win to some of it as a beginner or an expert

just preferring that particular strategy. So... That's what I love about real estate

is that not... It's not always a win-win situation. But there's always room for

one. And what you've created is a win-win. And when you can create a win for the

investor and for the mentor and for everybody, dude, that's a win-win-win all

way around. So... Friends, thank you so much for watching this video. If you are new

to the game of real estate and you're not a subscriber, correct that right now. Click

Jerry teaching other aspects of flipping, we want you to comment on that below.
