to the poor villages far away from the illusory world of Pyongyang.

The SDC is one of the few aid organizations

that is granted access here.

SARAH: "What do you do when your horse is sick,

how to know when your horse is sick, how to prevent

my horse from being sick."

DR LYDIA GRAY: Let's see.

Let's start at the end and work up.

So prevention is when a new horse comes into the farm

and you quarantine.

When you take and isolate sick horses, clearly.

When you take your horse somewhere

you use bio-security measures.

So you don't share equipment.

SARAH: Like one of those HAZMAT suits?

DR LYDIA GRAY: No.

More like your own bucket to drink out of--

SARAH: Oh, yeah.

That's much more moderate.

DR LYDIA GRAY: -- versus, look there's a group watering

trough.

Stay away from that.

Use your own bucket.

Bring your own buckets.

And then so that's how to prevent your horse

from being sick.

Also, having your veterinarian there to do a general wellness

exam like we talked about in the pre-purchase that includes--

it could be annual, it could be twice annual,

but it might also be finished with vaccinations.

They're a great way to prevent diseases.

Then you can talk about parasite control.

That's a way to keep your horse healthy and well.

Knowing they're sick-- you have to know your horse's,

know what he's like when he's healthy.

So that includes not just his attitude and his appetite

and all that, but also what's his normal temperature?

Because there's a range of normal temperatures in horses--

99 and a half to 100 and a half-- but yours

might be different.

Yours might be 99.

Yours might be 101.

If you don't know that before you

think he's acting a little off, and then you

take his temperature, and then it's not

in that perfect textbook range, you're

So know your horse's normals.

SARAH: One of my favorite things that I learned about you

when we first started working together

was that you keep a diary--

DR LYDIA GRAY: I do.

SARAH: --all about Newman.

DR LYDIA GRAY: I keep a journal.

And something--

SARAH: Is it called Newman's Normals?

Because I think it should be.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Well, we used it just yesterday

to figure out something.

He's got airway disease, and he's on a puffer--

inhaler.

SARAH: Right, that I know.

And that also he got trained with treats.

[LAUGHING]

DR LYDIA GRAY: And for the last couple of weeks

he's been coughing and having some mucoid discharge.

And so we upped his schedule, because it

was every three days.

Went to every two days, every day, twice a day--

no different.

Then my barn owner, not me, figured out--

based on the journal--

maybe the inhaler was bad.

SARAH: Oh.

DR LYDIA GRAY: So she just put that aside,

put a new inhaler in-- perfect.

No coughing, no discharge, running around crazy,

may have broken a fence--

super.

So you've got to know your horse's normals

and pay attention and observe.

That's how you figure out stuff.

SARAH: Yeah, and that's how you spot trends and see

what changed.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Exactly.

Spider Plant

Though this plant does require a little upkeep, all you have to do is trim the dead leaf tips

off every once in a while when they start to turn brown.

Spider plants are to be watered occasionally with room temperature water, and to be kept

in indirect sunlight in a bright room that is 55-65 degrees Fahrenheit.

Make sure the soil you buy for your spider plant drains well and that it is placed in

a drainage pot.

The Spider plant produces flowers that are usually white in colour.

Dracaena

Another low-maintenance plant that�s actually perfect for apartment living, a Dracaena removes

toxins like benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, and xylene.

However, if you have any pets like dogs or cats, stay away.

If your pet consumes this plant, it could make them sick.

A Dracaena plant is best kept in a drainage pit with soil that drains well.

For care, put in bright to moderate indirect sunlight and water it when the soil is dry

to the touch.

Place in a room from 65 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

If a Dracaena plant looks droopy or seems to be yellow in colour, this means that it

is over-watered or there is not enough drainage.

Peace Lily

Among other popular indoor plants, the Peace Lily eliminates toxins like ammonia, benzene,

formaldehyde, and trichloroethylene.

To keep your Peace Lily alive, store in indirect sunlight or even a shady area for maximum

growth.

Year round, you�ll have to keep the soil moist and keep the plant in a room above 60

degrees Fahrenheit.

If your Peace Lily isn�t blooming flowers, it is not getting enough sunlight.

Remember, no direct sunlight = happy Peace Lily.

Avoid keeping a Peace Lily in a cold environment because it will not grow.

Root rot is common among Peace Lilies, so make sure that you invest in a pot with good

drainage.

Aloe Vera

Are you prone to both killing plants and getting sunburnt?

Then owning an Aloe Vera plant is perfect for you.

These plants remove a toxin called formaldehyde from the air.

Keep your Aloe Vera plant in a drainage pot along with soil that drains well.

It is best grown in indirect sunlight or artificial lighting.

Water your Aloe Vera plant deeply but not too often.

Clean the air in your home and cure sunburn at the same time!

The healing properties of Aloe Vera can do wonders.

Once your plant reaches maturity, you can start harvesting the leaves for its cooling

contents.

Orchids

A flowering plant by large, Orchids remove a toxin called xylene.

When it comes down to watering upkeep, this plant is the best for those who are forgetful

because Orchids only require water every 5-12 days, depending on the type.

Orchids require shallow planting and should not be left sitting in water.

They grow best when placed in indirect sunlight and in a room that is from 65 to 85 degrees

Fahrenheit.

Depending on the type of orchid, adjust the room temperature accordingly.

For the record, most Orchids are best kept in humid environments.

Snake Plant

Removing a few toxins such as benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, and xylene, the Snake plant,

also known as the Sansevieria plant, can live in drier conditions than other plants.

When watering, check every two to three weeks to see if the soil is dry.

If it is, then water your Snake plant.

Only use room-temperature water to water the plant.

Not only does this plant require little sun but you can also let your Snake plant soak

up some vitamin C from fluorescent lighting.

Keep the plant in a room between 40-85 degrees Fahrenheit.

20 master glassmakers produce 1.5 tonnes of material each day.

A tradition where there's not a single Swiss glassblower left.

and I've been here for 50 years.

There's always something to learn.

-Established 2 centuries ago,

the glass factory in Hergiswil is the last one in Switzerland.

In 1975, the municipality narrowly escaped losing its glassworks.

It's thanks to R. Niederer that it managed to stay open.

His son remembers.

-He fought for 13 years.

Just before he died, he passed the business on to me.

-800 different items are produced here.

Its success is down to marketing, opening the glassworks to the public

and the many different activities and experiences linked to glass:

100,000 visitors per year.

-Is that where we came in?

-The boss can smile: he has ensured the glassworks are financially sound.

For its 200 years in existence, he is building a glass tower.

-This tower is a symbol

that shows we can also

build towers, and tomorrow, who knows? houses made of glass perhaps?

My mum knows how greedy I am.

It's hard to say.

There is a great quote in 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding'.

But the mother is the neck, which can turn in any direction.

It's the same for us:

Mum's got us idiots under control.

I don't know, I'm both.

I like to say that I'm neither-nor.

I'm neither Tamil, nor Swiss.

I'm my own kind and that's Secondo.

I can usually identify better with people like you

than with Swiss people who were born here,

or Tamils who were born in Sri Lanka.

I have more in common with you,

because we're both like this.

If you had to choose:

Rösti?

Or curry?

Look at the food.

It's so varied.

If I had to spend my life eating the same food

I would have a rice dish with different curries.

If you'd have asked me when I was 15

I would have said rösti in a heartbeat.

But now I've come back round again.

And it's healthy too.

a link to one of their products fortunately this kind of comment gets

flagged by YouTube and gets sent to the review folder this means it won't ever

get seen by the public number 3. Don't be boring when you appear on

videos it reduces the amount of energy that you normally have when talking to a

person therefore when you appear on camera try to double your energy and

increase your enthusiasm so when viewers watch your video they'll

be more motivated to subscribe because of your energy and enthusiasm

4. Don't use clickbait. Clickbait is content whose main purpose is to attract

attention and encourage viewers to click on the link but if the link goes to

content that was not promised in the thumbnail they'll be annoyed or get

angry for example if you post a thumbnail of some cleavage but the video

is about ant farms people will get angry and leave the video once they click on

If a person leaves your video quickly you won't get any watch time on your

video and it won't rank very high in the search engines

Clickbait is also against YouTube's Terms of Service which means you could

get a strike against your channel 5. Don't use other people's content

taking other people's content without their permission is against YouTube's

Terms of Service instead of stealing other people's content try to give your

own unique view on a particular topic by all means watch

other people's videos read other people's articles on their blogs listen

to podcasts and live streams to get new ideas but always give your own view on a

particular topic if you want to use somebody else's content make sure you

get permission first alternatively you can use Creative Commons video clips

from the YouTube editor 6. Don't use inappropriate words when you use inappropriate

words in your comments like swear words they'll automatically get

blocked or blacklisted and won't appear to the public this means that you've wasted

your time many youtubers create a blacklist of certain words so when they

appear in the comments they'll automatically get sent in the spam

therefore don't use any swear words in your comments click the card icon to

7. Infrequent uploading when you only upload a new video every month

you're not getting gets much traffic or much exposure the more frequently you

upload new videos to your channel the more exposure

you'll receive if you create an upload schedule for your subscribers then they'll

know when to expect new videos for example I upload new videos every Monday
