What To Do With The Images After The Festival: Out of the Darkroom with Ruth Medjber - Duration: 5:38.

Hello I'm Ruth Medjber,

welcome to

Out of the Darkroom.

In this series of

special videos, I'm giving my

professional insight

into shooting music festivals.

In this episode we will look

at what to do

with the photographs

after the festival.

Well congratulations you

survived a music festival

as a working photographer,

now you have hundreds, if

not thousands of images

to process and share.

Processing can be done relatively

quickly in Lightroom and exported as

screen resolution, JPEGs for web sharing.

What I tend to do is also export

a higher resolution batch that I can share

with my clients as well

as with the printed press.

Normally for press images

or music photography, I wouldn't do

anything more than a touch of cropping

and exposure balance in Lightroom

and there's definitely no need for

anything further like Photoshop.

One thing you should always do with your

images before you share them is embed

all the necessary data.

This will ensure

that your name, copyright information

and contact details are embedded

into the files themselves,

so if a journalist or

even a band gets hold of an image that

they want to use they'll know how to

contact you.

Not only should you be

filling in information like the keyword

tags such as band names and even

the festival name,

you should also be captioning

correctly.

If you have a really great

photo of two friends posing for the

camera at the festival then the

newspapers are going to want to know

their names, their ages

and where they're from.

Some newspapers won't run the

images without this information so you

need to write down the captions as you

shoot and then transcribe this

information into the IPTC section of the

photograph. This can be done really

easily in Lightroom.

When I'm sharing to

web I will embed my watermark on to the

image, I do this in an unobtrusive way,

slightly opaque so as not to upset

the whole image.

Some people don't do it

at all which is also fine but I like to

think of it more as a form of free

advertising, when people share my images

between each other online.

Sometimes you'll find that

a band share images

online without asking permission or even

tagging you

It will also be a savior

when someone else tries

to claim ownership of that image

and take all the credit.

In this day and age,

turnaround time is everything.

If you're shooting Friday to Sunday

down at the festival

then booked Monday off

to process and share.

If you've arrived home

Sunday night,

ideally start work

immediately.

There really is no time to waste.

Chances are you'll have gotten some

similar shots to the other

photographers there,

but your advantage can be the

speed of delivery.

If you were just

shooting for yourself,

there will be no

restrictions on when

you can post your images,

so post them to your social media

platforms instantly.

If you're doing a

Facebook album then tag each band,

tag the festivals,

tag the drink sponsors,

tag everyone and anyone

who you think will

have an interest in sharing

that image

and spreading your name around.

If you're shooting for blogs

or magazines then

usually you'll have to file with them

first before releasing the photos on

your own website

or social media channels.

If you're shooting

for a corporate client

then you'll definitely

have to check with them

when or even if

you can release the photographs.

Some clients might insist

that you sign

a copyright transferal contract

when you

shoot the festival for them,

in which case

you might not have any rights

to share the photos at all?

If you have the

rights to your images and think

you've gotten some of the best shot of

your life then you might like

to sell your prints.

You can physically print

and roll and post these yourself,

maybe setting up a store on your own website?

Or you could decide to lose a percentage

of the sales and let a third-party

online print store handle it all for you.

Whatever you do

try to share

only your best images.

You want people to know that

you shoot quality work,

not that you're a bit hit-and-miss.

Quality over quantity.

Realistically your Instagram followers

are going to get bored

very quickly of seeing

the same stuff from the same

festival for days on end,

so limit your

posts and redirect them to a full

gallery on your site

if their interested

in seeing more.

On Facebook you can

share albums which is brilliant

for tagging bands and tagging friends.

People are more inclined to scroll through

a Facebook album,

so you can be a little

bit more generous

with your shots here

but still try to keep

duplicate band shots to a minimum.

If you've shot the festival

just for yourself

and are not aligned to any

paper or blog,

then you might consider

sharing your images

with the local press.

Usually the papers will have their own

photographers on site,

but you can send

the editor an email

with a very small sample

selection of your work

saying that you were there,

you shot the festival

and you've got amazing shots

of X, Y, Z

should they wish to see more.

Freelance press photographers spend

years building up their lists of editors

email addresses, news desks,

picture editors, contact info

exactly for this purpose.

Once you get into the swing

of things you'll know exactly what your

local papers like to show

and how they

like to receive their pictures.

Some like straight

email attachments,

some prefer an FTP system

which you'll need access to.

Most journalists will welcome

a WeTransfer files

so you don't clog their inbox,

but always remember the IPTC info

if you're venturing into the press world.

That's all from me for this episode.

tips and tricks.

First Indian food truck of Spain: Masala73 - Duration: 1:44.

I craved for doing something special.

Offering something new to the gastronomic panorama of Barcelona.

Something cool.

I wanted to bring the flavor of India here.

It was a challenge.

I've spent a lot of time in India.

Eating. Cooking.

Soaking up their culture.

I'm passionate about its spices.

Masala, that is how the Hindi call them.

Indian cuisine takes time.

You can't muddle through.

You need patience.

Experience to get it right.

They said I'm crazy to open a food truck.

They said: I'm a professional chef, how could I sell food on the street?

But honestly, I didn't listen to anyone.

But honestly, I didn't listen to anyone.

After working 17 years in restaurants,

I needed something different.

It's a privilege to cook on the street.

To instantly see the reaction of our customers.

Observe what they feel.

A sincere smile is the best gift a chef can receive.

After all, that's why we cook.

To make people enjoy.

I don´t need your help.

I don´t need your help.

You see the colours black and white,

You´re all strait-laced, and you think that´s right.

You trap me underfoot, and steal my loot.

But I got myself these walking boots.

I can carry on with bleeding feet,

Don´t need your staff or your wheelie seat.

Don´t need your sweet talkin´ mouth to say,

"I won´t stay if you don´t play the game my way!"

My means are good but I lack the balls,

to say no takes more than it´s my fault,

and when I trip over I know how to fall,

but hey! I got nowhere else to go.

Save me, save me.

No need to save me, save me.

I don´t need your helping hand.

Save me, save me,

No need to save me, save me

I don´t need

I don´t need your help now.

I can keep rockin´ like the rolling stones,

I can make you move like you got no bones,

don´t need a safezone or a place called home,

never wash me of my sins or make me atone.

I´m on a trap door and I´m feeling sick,

I had my head cracked by a cheeky beak,

but when it grows back it will be more thick

I think I can live my life like this.

Save me, save me.

HUEVOS RANCHEROS TOSTADAS - Duration: 8:44.

- Hello everyone, it's Barry here (laughs),

well, I'm sorry, welcome to My Virgin Kitchen.

I hope you are well.

Today we are making Huevos Rancheros Tostadas

and I do apologise about the pronunciation,

I don't really care, to be honest,

it's just gonna taste blooming gorgeous

and I hope you give it a go.

Huevos Rancheros is kind of like a Mexicany-vibey breakfast

with eggs, tomatoes, avocado,

amongst other delicious things.

We have it as a Tostada, which I believe translates

to the phrase, "toasted",

so we serve it on a tortilla that is crispy

and there's a few ways we can do that,

but hey, I just wanna eat, I'm hungry,

we're gonna have a late breakfast today,

just because of you guys.

So if you wanna try this out, the full method and write-up,

that I've done on MyVirginKitchen.com

is down in the link below and you just head over there,

there's over 1,000 video recipes now, amazing.

I'm gonna summon in my assistant today.

Hello! - Hello. (laughs)

- Mrs. Barry's at her new job,

but she has a few days off during the week,

which means she's not gone.

- No, I'm not.

- She was never really gone,

- No, (laughs) I was never really gone.

- She was just, - I can't, I still live here.

- Yeah, she was just gone to earn money,

but she's gonna help me just prepare some ingredients,

so we can just concentrate on the good stuff

and as we managed to get the Queen fixed,

we've given Michael the day off, but she is standing strong,

God Save the Queen and all that stuff.

Just before we start, massive thank you to everyone,

that is as excited as I am about the plans,

that I sort of mentioned off the last video,

the Raindrop Cake, which was kind of crazy, that thing,

so things like the Vegetarian Day, the Baking Days,

the Kids' Kitchen thing, it's all very exciting

and one thing I will say,

if you're not a massive fan of veggie things,

like some of you guys were saying stuff like that,

I used to think like that as well,

but it's only gonna be like one day a week,

so if you're like, "I know that I don't need

"to come here on Tuesdays, I'm not gonna watch that,"

but it won't just be me hosting it either.

I've got loads of cool friends and family,

that are gonna come in, and some actual vegetarians as well,

some baking experts, it's gonna be awesome!

That's it.

We were just about to start the prep...

and I've forgotten something from the shops.

- You have, you forgot the, what are they, beans?

- Refried beans.

- Refried beans.

- So Mrs. Barry is gonna go get that from the shop

and then I'm gonna do the prep.

- Yep.

- Alright, little damp cloth on there.

(rustling plastic packaging)

(chopping tomatoes)

And I'm just chopping up a tomato into little chunks.

I'm only gonna use the one actually,

we'll put this one away.

We'll also get a chilli, which I've just deseeded,

so the seeds are down there and with that,

I'm just gonna cut that up very roughly.,

so like half a chilli, that's completely optional,

you don't need to use it at all,

or you could use the whole half, I mean, the whole thing.

Coriander, so just roughly chop that.

Just gonna get rid of the seeds a minute

(water gushing from tap)

and I washed my hands as well,

'cause you do not wanna get that in your eyes.

So yeah, just roughly chop up,

this is a small iceberg lettuce,

so pretty rough with that.

So that's quite a lot of the prep done,

the other one is slicing avocado,

but I'll do that right at the end,

a bit of lime's gonna go with that.

So we've got the tomatoes, deseeded chilies,

handful of coriander and the lettuce, nice.

To make our Tostada, this is a corn tortilla

and there's three ways, I believe, you can do it.

You can either fry it, which is the traditional way,

but probably the most unhealthy,

so just in some shallow oil.

You can put it in the microwave, which has no oil

and it's very, very fast

or we can bake it in the oven, which is what we're gonna do,

it's gonna make it, rather than floppy like this,

a little bit crispier, mmm.

So we're gonna get a baking tray and two become one,

or one become two, Spice Girls, no.

I've preheated my oven to 200 C,

which is 180 C on a fan,

and I think that's gas five,

I'll let you know on the screen right now.

Get some oil, this is sunflower oil,

but you could use vegetable oil.

Little pastry brush, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah,

I feel like I'm a deejay, waka, waka, waka,

waka, waka, fresh, fresh!

DJ Tortilla, I'm sure that exists,

I mean I like him, but he's nacho your kind of music.

(doorbell ringing)

Doorbell, worktop has just arrived

for the back of our kitchen bit.

As you know, it's still a bit bodged at the moment,

so I forgot to say about that, things could be happening.

Anyhow, I've turned them over, a teeny bit more oil

and work it round, wah, wah, wah.

If you ever wanted to know what putting suntan lotion

on a tortilla is like, this is kind of it.

Oven is preheated, nice.

So, the oven's preheated, you could put it in straightaway,

but you know how much I love paprika,

little bit of that on there

and a little bit of pepper as well.

This is gonna go in the oven now

for about three to four minutes, then we'll flip it after.

Meanwhile, last thing you need to do is get two pans ready,

you're gonna have a frying pan for frying the egg,

you could always poach it, if you want, nah,

and also a saucepan just to warm up our refried beans.

Hey hey, right, so that has been actually five minutes.

They've bubbled up and they have gone a little bit crispy.

We're gonna flip it over,

repeat that for another three or four minutes.

Optional, but I love paprika.

I'm gonna get that on a T-shirt, by the way,

someone suggested that, 100%.

Alright folks, this is not gonna look that appealing,

I promise you, at first, but, boom, here we go (laughs).

These are refried beans.

I'm just gonna scrape them out of the tin now.

I only need about...

Yeah, that's gonna be enough for two,

plenty, plenty, plenty.

It does smell a little bit like cat food,

but we're just gonna warn that up

and it will be a little bit more appealing, I promise.

Oh wow, that's much more better looking,

look at you, mate,

you look like you're all dressed up for dinner now.

Sophisticated, refried beans, folks,

so we're just warming this through.

Don't burn them, nobody likes burnt things,

well actually, I do like burnt toast,

but just get it nice and warm and manoeuvrable

and hot, baby, tasty.

Fry the egg, baby.

A fried egg is one of the most beautiful-looking things

in the world, don't you think?

it's just like a cartoon eye.

Oh yes, and meanwhile, these are done.

I'm gonna be cheeky with this fried egg as well,

we're gonna have a little bit of pepper in that,

right in the egg white, just a teeny bit.

With the fried egg done, Mrs. Barry has very kindly

just sliced up the avocado for me, didn't you?

- I did.

- So, we're now gonna serve it up.

I'm gonna whack me nice lens on

and we'll just see if we can make it look nice,

if not, just know that it is nice.

- It is good.

- Oh, you get to find out.

(gasps) - Ooh.

Here we are then, folks, there's the Tostada there.

Listen, (gentle thudding) rock hard, nice and crispy,

boom, down that goes with a little bit of paprika, basing,

and then put down the lettuce,

just spread that all out on there.

I'm not sure if there's any particular order to this,

but I'm loving the colours already

and we just dump down (blowing a raspberry)

the refried beans,

which does smell incredibly like cat food still,

but I do like the taste of them,

so maybe I'm a part-time cat.

Fried egg, whay, look at that!

So we're gonna go for some avocado,

be like two, like that, just squeeze a lime on that,

just to bring it to life, some chopped tomatoes,

the chilli, that I said, you know, earlier, was optional,

just get that on there.

There, don't like that bit.

That's a bit better.

Bit of coriander, sprinkle that on there, alrighty,

and then let's give it another squeezing of the lime juice

just to give it all a bit of a zing.

This is completely optional, but I'm just gonna give it,

like a little squeeze of sour cream on top.

I like that, (grinding pepper in mill) and some pepper,

Boom Chicka Wah Wah, loving it!

I don't know about you,

but that's looking blooming gorgeous.

I'm gonna have to have a taste of that now,

are you ready, Mrs. Barry?

- [Mrs. Barry] I'm ready.

- She's ready.

Here we go folks, I'm gonna go straight through

into that egg, oh my gosh, oh, it is really crispy,

this shell, ah, come on, break, there we go, oh,

oh my gosh, can you see that egg there?

Ah, I'm gonna spin this round.

You see that egg?

Oh my gosh, eggy eggy eggy.

Let's try and get a bit of everything

then on a wedge like this.

Ah, look at that, ohh!

Ooh, mustn't forget the avocado.

There you go (laughs).

- Oh wow, OK.

- Ready?

- Yeah, this looks messy.

Oh oh, oh.

Oh, mmm.

- That good?

- That is really, really good, oh my goodness.

- Mm, oh my gosh, messy, but lush.

- Mm.

- Mm (laughs).

- That is amazing.

- Yeah?

- Oh my goodness.

- Mm.

- Ooh, I got a chillie.

- Mrs. Barry's not a fan of chillie, sorry about that.

- Ohh!

- So, there we go then, folks,

Mrs. Barry-approved and certified.

I really hope you give this recipe a try.

HYPNOBIRTH TUTORIAL CLASS#1 Birth Like A Boss HYPNOBIRTHING SERIES - Duration: 23:56.

welcome I'm Lynn JT hypnobirthing practitioner and I help mums like you to

birth like a boss! So today we're going to cover something really

fundamental: the one strategy that you need to follow in order to achieve the

calm powerful birth that you want. This is part one of a seven video series

so to get the full video series plus all the resources we'll be talking about

including pregnancy self-care tools then go to LynnJT.com or just click on the

link below. Right let's dive right in this is THE strategy to achieve the birth

you want. You need just a simple strategy but first understand that it's not about

WHAT happens ...you see a good birth plan will help you prepare for all

eventualities and understand all your choices, now we have got other

videos on that but right here more vitally we're talking about HOW you deal

with what does happen. You can't always foresee what will actually happen but

the strategy will tell you how to deal with it no matter what. The goal of the strategy is to

unlock your primal potential to give birth with ease - the way all other

mammals do. Every other mammal just gives birth with ease and there's no fear

there's no anxiety around that and you my dear are a mammal! An overthinking

highly intellectual biped yes but at the core you are a mammal and you just need

to awaken that primal animal inside who already knows how to birth like a boss.

So this strategy is to reach that confidence zone where you allow your

instincts to guide you that's what it is is that becoming that animal that just

follows instincts that already knows what to do when to do it and how now

equally important: the complete strategy is to keep you in that zone so you might

have seen some incredibly serene birth videos or just go to any farm and watch an

animal give birth! Now all those Mama mammals

they were all in the zone and that's what we're trying to achieve.

So what are you expecting birth to be like?

something like this...?

this is what we see in the movies here's the gorgeous Charlize Theron is in the

comedy Knocked Up - she's terrified angry and in pain

she wants to hit her birth partner who doesn't have the first clue about how to

help her. Now this is what our friends tell us happened to them - it's the horror

stories, the fear-mongering that we hear so often so it's what we come to expect

and unfortunately that expectation is what manifests itself in our bodies and

that prophecy becomes our own reality that becomes your birth story and

that version of your birth story sucks sorry it really does so we just don't

want that to say "no thanks" and to avoid it. You need to understand first of all

how this self-fulfilling prophecy works how this vicious cycle of fear tension

pain works in real life so many women fall into this fear-tension-pain cycle

Now just think about this remember the last time you had an injection or blood

tests - that's pretty recent if you're pregnant -

and what did the phlebotomist say to you or what did you already know to do maybe

you sat calm relaxed you let your arm go floppy maybe you looked away and talked

about the weather or something but you might have instinctively taken a deep

breath and let it out slowly and try to relax

and if you did all that then it would have been over before it even began.

no trauma hardly any discomfort all done

well when I was a child I used

to have a real fear of needles I just thought it it was I just thought was the

worst thing that could happen the thought of it would make me shiver - I would have

nightmares the night before I'd be sweating and crying and pre-living all

the pain before we even got to the waiting room where I would you know have

to go and have an inoculation now by the time I'm in the chair I'm screaming and

kicking my mum who had to hold me down and I'm tense as a brick my muscle my

muscles in my arm are just so hard and I'm kicking and screaming and want to

punch that poor doctor who has no choice but to jam the needle in

really hard and the pain then is incredible and it's all I can think

about so even after I'll be sweating shaking feeling really sorry for myself

like I've experienced the worst trauma ever and my arm is actually bruised and

bleeding more than it would be if I just relaxed. Now you see the fear's what made

my muscles tense up and the needle had to force its way through damaging more

tissue than it needed to so that that's just a really simple example of the fear

tension pain damage that happened to me because I had that fear and that

misconception might not have happened to you because you didn't so it's just

about that mindset and same for labor and birth . Okay it's a bit more complex

version of that but the cure is in the understanding so let's shine some light

on some of these elements. So fear first in this cycle you can see here fear

equals tension equals painful so where does that fear come from? We've seen it

from the stories that you hear... so is this

your starting point? Either you have already had a traumatic painful horrible

birth experience before and you're scared that your second one is going to

be the same or worse or you've just heard the horrors you've lived it

through someone else's experience in any case for all of this fear comes mainly

from what we either do not know, do not understand fully understand why it

happened to you. Fear has a physiological effect on us - what does it

do to you on a cellular level? how does that affect your birth canal? your vagina?

and your pain levels? your experience of pain? So we know that fear equals tension

is going to tense all of that up now that tension you get because you sense a

threat and your brain automatically floods your

body with stress hormones and when stress hormones take over two

things happen: 1/ you automatically shut off your natural pain relief hormones

(yes you heard me right you do actually have you can your body produces natural

pain relief hormones which are incredibly powerful I will tell you much

more about that later on how to tap into them) but just note that when the stress

hormones unleash your natural pain relief hormones cannot also be released

at the same time it's one or the other so they just stop so you're not getting

that natural pain relief. Then 2/ you tense your muscles because you go into

that fight-or-flight mode and you're ready like a trapped animal the way I

was in that doctor's chair and you can't help it it's like when you flinch it's a

reflex and that's just going to happen when you're scared now

the cervix and the uterus yep let's look at that as a multi-layered muscle

mechanism that is perfectly designed to open up like a blooming flower or I like

to see it actually as a drawstring purse I can tell you more about that the

actual physiology the anatomy of the cervix uterus and you see is actually

like a drawstring purses it's an incredible mechanism and when it's left

to work naturally in the right conditions it just opens up beautifully

without tearing. Now, in the stress conditions, it's like a muscle like any

other and it's going to fight to close back up - it's going to tense up. Fear

signals that it's not safe to birth here and so it won't want to release baby

it's going to go into fight or flight mode and when that happens you want to

run away - your blood supply is taxed away from the pelvis where you need it, away from

baby, and it goes away to your arms and legs instead - that's just the fear

response you cannot control that. In your blood carries oxygen so your oxygen

also gets taxed away from where its most needed therefore you get suboptimal

muscle efficiency where you need that muscle to be working in your cervix and

uterus, which means that your labor progress is

slowed and you'll start hearing things like "failure to progress" - that's that's

a really horrible unhelpful thing to hear "failure to progress" and even worse

though your labour might actually be

stalling even worse it can even regress. If you're under a lot of duress. The

cervix can reverse the opening and actually close back up a bit or even a

lot. These are powerful muscles that are working in overdrive when they're in

this fight flight mode so there will be pain and exhaustion for you and you

might be pushed towards having interventions at this stage because you

can't go on forever like this. Your birth is not supposed to be super long!

Actually when it's when it's done right um in the right conditions you might

hear most people having had a good birth experience - it that it goes by very very fast.

More importantly here your blood is also baby's blood

therefore their oxygen supply. Now if all this happens like domino effect then

there's going to be a sub optimal level of oxygen for the baby

and that can lead to possible distress - now this further slows down your labor

progress, there's more pain more exhaustion more fear that's going to

lead to possibly needing more intervention or at least you can be

pushed towards this so that is the cycle: you're fearing with tension = resistance

your resistance is what is causing the regression, the pain exhaustion and

likely need for intervention. So resistance is what causes the pain your

cervix isn't thinned, the uterus doesn't do its job easily doesn't open up wide

naturally but the baby has got to come out one way or another!

and so it will be forced and there will be excessive pain that's what leads to

the tearing and the bruising. Now on another note once you go down the whole

induction route because if you're in this cycle for too long

then well once you go down the induction route that's a whole other ballgame you

can't control because it's not your hormone your natural hormones anymore

that are guiding the labor they're synthetic hormones and that creates

forced contractions which come on fast and strong and you just don't have time

to adjust the way you would if this were a natural birth without being induced and

then you have time to adjust. When you don't then that's what leads to the fear

the loss of control and then the tension and the pain so that's this is the cycle

that you want to avoid. It can lead to further suffering...

not just the physical but the emotional trauma that comes with intervention and

tissue damage afterwards. Six in eight women will

experience baby blues afterwards and I think a lot of the contributing

factors are how you actually gave birth in the first place - how traumatic it

was. One in eight will go into post natal depression and there is definitely

lots to be said about how the actual birth effected you- but anyway this is

what happens for a lot of a lot of people who are super anxious about

birth who aren't fully clued up on all the ins and outs of how things work. I'm

not just talking about a basic antenatal course I'm really thinking about how

nature has designed you to open up - not just a medicalised version of the facts- so I'm here to

tell you that there is a better way. What we just discussed before that's not what

mother nature intended for you that is not your design. Your vagina is elastic

and the fibers are designed to stretch and retract afterwards so it's meant to

open and close. Now the key is to give birth under the right conditions and the

right mindset and that's the strategy we're talking about -

I haven't invented this and no one invented this technique - this is

something we all have inside us... the thing is that as modern women, as overly

thinking highly intellectual bipeds that we are, we have forgotten how to be the

animal and how to just listen to our intuition - that's it. it's so it's so

simple yet it's so hard for us to get back in touch with that because we're so

out of our natural state and we have lost touch with nature, our instincts and

that primal brain inside us where those secrets are encoded. So let's redefine

your preconceptions right now and let's reverse engineer that horrible cycle.

Imagine this: a peaceful powerful quick birth. Now, when you have

the tools to be in the calm cycle and not the fear tension pain cycle, you can

have a peaceful powerful birth. This is our end point - this is where we want to be.

We've seen that the mind-body connection means that your thoughts will affect your body...

directly on a cellular level. Negative or positive thoughts will self-manifest and

materialize in the body. You'll either tense up or you will be

able to relax so getting is allowing your body to be able to relax is that

key that leads to that ability to birth in a peaceful way so this this is highly

understood by top athletes - have you ever heard of PMA- positive mental attitude?

and all that relaxation that they do before big games before big runs and

you see them really focusing inside going inside not listening to the crowds

or anyone else swimmers even come in to the pools with

the headphones on so they're in their zone and they've built up this positive

mental attitude. They have done hours and hours of visualization and relaxation

these are fundamental lessons that they learn in sports psychology that coaches

use all the time to get athletes to reach their goals and also to beat their own

records, to be able to do things that they might have thought beyond their

physical abilities. To get to that point to be

able to do so much physical exertion to be able to in your case BIRTH - what comes

before that is the deep relaxation it's getting into that zone so it's getting

to that confidence that's what creates it. So confidence needs to replace the

fear that was at the top of the cycle that the first one that we saw needs to

replace the fear and the self-doubt there at the top. So to do that we need

to DE- brainwash you of all the the myths and the misconceptions the

misunderstandings and those false expectations that you have and rebalance

your knowledge bank with helpful birth education. We also need to stop

negative input that feeds the fear - the fear that's already there because

well, there's really going to be some stuff there and what we don't want is that fear

increasing and that fear pattern and your mind being reinforced by more

negative stories and we need to replace that that with positive input -- input that is

practical and input that is empowering with real tools- real scripts

real things that you can use so it's tangible and your brain will accept it

This is the amazing powerful efficient system - this is the strategy

that you actually already have in place you just have to allow yourself to enter

this cycle and you have the power inside to do so it's it's really exciting I

love telling this part because it's like being told that you have superhero

powers that you have special abilities that you're discovering for the first

time and it really is! you are able to do so much more than than you

think you can! if you were an animal you wouldn't even

be here you would just do this naturally literally mindlessly you wouldn't be

overthinking this and you would just naturally go into that cycle but humans

have managed to totally medicalise birth- yes for good reason

obviously you know we've had to and it's amazing and it saved so many lives but

we've done to the point that we we talk about it to the point that we perceive

pregnancy labor and birth as a "condition" and to the point that it's seen as an

affliction even. Our overactive paranoid Minds are the problem - that's what it is:

our crazy imagination and projections into a future that we prefer to view as

scary than anything else. Fortunately our minds are also the

SOLUTION that's why hypnobirthing has been brought in, that's why it is required to make you

see more truths about natural birth, to bring back the animal inside you so that

you are empowered again to give birth the way nature intended. Now of course

as I said I'm not dismissing medical care at all - when it is needed it is

amazing and it's really needed if mom or baby has a condition then yes absolutely

things need to be monitored and you might need interventions when there are

emergencies but still in the first place if everything is good if you don't have

any conditions if everything's been checked out then there's no need to

project into so much worry and all of this still applies - this strategy still

applies - it's not about fighting medical staff here it's about creating the right

environment for yourself staying calm and in the right cycle this strategy

throughout any procedures that you might need and that's why it's so important

to prepare fully in this way even if you've planned a c-section that way you're able

to deal with any situation whether you're doing that with a full medical

team if you're having a home birth... still with the strategy you can birth in

a taxi, in a lift with the midwives, just a birth partner, a

random stranger and even completely by yourself. You don't actually need

anyone there if everything is doing well and most of the time it

will continue to go well in its the fear that tips us into that fear

tension pain cycle and then requiring intervention and that's generally why

intervention is needed ask yourself why for so many many

Millennials babies have been born with no intervention before and still do

today in countries that are less medicalised than us and you can do all

this and you can do it all so well and the results are amazing when you are in

this strategy when you reach the zone you maintain yourself in it your

contractions are easier they are shorter they are more efficient and therefore

fewer total contractions I had the total labor is shorter everything's faster and

efficient and the whole time you can stay relaxed and in control knowing what

is happening , seeing the end and that's what that strategy is about. Now that's

the bigger picture. yes Medical is scary

but that is for medical conditions and if usually if you have a medical

addition you just stay monitored with it all of this still applies you still have

to stay calm. The things you cannot control: fine. What you CAN control is how

you feel inside how you let yourself how you let your mind stay calm as

opposed to going to over drive and into anxiety- I can't even go into all the

benefits of natural childbirth here but these too are overlooked and

not really pushed as much. I'm not saying that you absolutely have to have a

vaginal birth but do you know that having a drug-free vaginal birth

does allow you to have an alert drug-free baby who is then able to

better breastfeed directly after birth and they also have an improved gut flora

which is key for healthy adult immune systems

later in them and more more studies are confirming better brain developmental

outcomes and also remember that you will be fully present if drug-free so that

you can experience what you know could be really the most incredible joy you

ever have in life and also you have a faster recovery without having undergone

drugs or surgery. So what we are going to do in the next part of this series is

to bust through three myths about labour. You now have the strategy: you're

doing everything to keep calm and stay in that calm cycle and so these next parts are

giving you what you need to know about some misconceptions - they're so many but

we're going to bust three major ones and also I want to give you three key stone

tools. So we're going to do three myths about labor and three three keystone tools

on birthing instinct training and building your confidence and being able

to access relaxation through guided meditation. So that's what we will be

doing next I hope you have enjoyed this first tutorial - it's really the crucial

start to you taking that step towards a changed mindset and actually opening

your eyes to to what birth really is all about and how wonderful it is how

it's something that you should be looking forward to as opposed to

fearing - so clicking the link in the comment box below/ in the description box

so you can get access to the full video series and the downloads of the

resources that I'll be giving it out throughout the series as well all right

I'll see you then

Welcome Deck Upgrades

I really like to help get new players started in Magic the Gathering.

The Welcome Decks are the best first step, but what do you do next?

You upgrade, of course.

Welcome Young Mage, I'm the Rhino.

I want to help you get better at Magic.

There are 10 color combinations the Welcome Decks come in.

I could have made 10 videos, one about each combination…

But I didn't because I want you to see what 9 other people would do.

Everyone had a limit of $5 and then a total of $15 to upgrade their Welcome Deck.

Most card shops charge 10 cent for commons and 25 cent for uncommon cards.

So we used that for judging the cost of the upgrades.

Rares and mythics are often at market price.

If you are new to Magic, watch each person describe their color combination.

Learn what they picked and why.

All of these decks are currently in Standard and you can play them at Friday Night Magic.

You probably won't win first place, but you WILL have fun.

You WILL learn a lot.

If you are an old pro at Magic these are some great videos for you too.

Each is a different YouTuber that makes very different content.

Each one wants to help you get better at your game

and help you train up the next generation of competition for you.

These videos ARE for everyone.

Normally I would say "Comment below and tell me what you think."

A thumbs up would be nice.

But in this case I would rather you go to the next video.

Watch each one.

Give them a thumbs up and comment on their video.

If you want to see more, subscribe to their channel.

See you at the end, Rhino out… for now.

ARE 'WAVE X' AND THE 'EVENT' THE SAME WHAT WILL HAPPEN - Duration: 3:59.

ARE WAVE X AND THE EVENT THE SAME?

WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

Q. A number of people/groups say a Wave is coming which will change / bring a new frequency

to humans ( positive ). Is this the same as your EVENT?

Could you do a short reading / update on the event?

Timing and any other feelings?

I think the PTW know its coming and want to pull the dollar down before hand to keep us

busy / distracted.

Thank you.

I do see the Wave or Event (they in my mind are the same thing) happening.

Every time I focus on it, I hear sounds much like a babys heartbeat as heard through

a doppler (found an example here).

It is like the Wave is and has been coming, and the main function is to help ease our

individual vibrations to a higher density, so the collective consciousness as a whole

can elevate.

I see this transformation as a slow and gradual process because our human 3D bodies cannot

take all the energy shifts and upgrades to our frequency all at once.

It may be called a Wave or Event, but in reality, it looks to span over at least the next one

to two years (then it hear it is similar to how people will refer to a War, but in reality

it was an event spanning over several months or years).

The PTW (Powers That Were) are doing what they can to distract us to keep the vibrations

low.

Things like false flags, negativity in media and now Hollywood (entertainment for many)

has become a source of lower vibrations.

This is because the PTW are scared, and they know that if the collective consciousness

rises, there is nothing that cannot be accomplished, and things will be seen for what they are

and NOT what they creates with illusion.

Since the PTW realize their time is slowly coming to an end they are trying to accumulate

as much wealth and power as possible in hopes that it will help to carry them forward.

This is the reason for the suppression of precious metals and I see a newer electronic

currency being created (doesnt feel like bitcoin though).

They also see the value in resources, like oil (aka black gold), other minerals

and farm land (but I will say it looks like GMO companies are working frantically to try

to alleviate this concern).

And that is all I have for this reading.

Sick to your intuition, and try not to get pulled into the illusion.

Question everything, and if it feels off, it probably is.

Love and light-

Ryan Ashley: An Ink Master on Elm Street | Ink Master - Duration: 4:56.

- I think I had to just

stop stressing about the what ifs,

and just confidently believe in myself.

The entire experience was just really once in a lifetime.

Getting to the end takes a lot of strength.

You have to be ready to test yourself,

and be okay with what you learned.

I hope people see me and realize

they can do whatever they want to do as well.

(uplifting piano music)

In winning Ink Master I got a bunch of prizes.

I won $100,000, I won a Dodge Charger,

and I'm here in Texas doing a guest spot all week

at Oliver's shop Elm Street Tattoo.

- This is my chaos of a station.

- [Ryan] There's so much to look at.

This is where I'll be tattooing today.

- This is it.

Going into the finale,

it really could have been anyone of the three.

Gian and Kelly and Ryan, all three great artists,

but I think that the right person won in the end.

- It was terrifying being at the finale live,

but the style fine line black and gray

was my way of putting my security blanket back on,

and thinking, you know if I don't make it past this tattoo

at least the whole world gets to see what I love

and what I'm capable of.

I can't believe I was the one that ending up winning.

Honestly I think my initial reaction was just

blank shell shock.

I really couldn't believe it.

Gian, Kelly, and myself the three of us had become so close,

and such good friends during the whole process

that didn't feel as good as I wanted it to feel, you know?

I think what I was most worried about was my struggle

with color.

- Big chunky 90's new school.

- When Kelly first assigned me the 90's new school

dueling hot rods I was like, man she really went for it.

She went for the jugular on this one.

It's just like we said all season long, you know?

If you want to be Ink Master

you have to show you can attempt everything.

So after a few stressful weeks of trying to research,

what are hot rods, what do they look like,

what is 90's new school?

And figuring out exactly what my job really was

that I had to accomplish.

I kind of just relaxed and decided to have fun with it,

and I pleasantly surprised myself.

- [Oliver] Just looking at Ryan's portfolio

and seeing the few tats she did

at the very beginning showed versatility,

but more than anything it showed the willingness

to try whatever it was gonna take to win.

- Oliver was really hands on, really instrumental

in telling us what we needed to know to do the best

in the competition.

- What is the challenge today?

- American traditional, which is no white.

I know that there have been a lot of amazing women

that have competed on Ink Master you know,

prior to my season.

I would have bet money that Sarah Miller would have been

the first female Ink Master.

Megan Jean who competed on season seven.

I was positive she was going to take it as well.

It's been great because I've received an immense amount

of letters and fan art from very young girls saying

I'm so glad I found you, you inspire me so much.

That in itself is the most rewarding feeling knowing

that I have been able to change some of these peoples' lives

by just being honest.

- I think it's very exciting that a female won.

Just seeing the girls' tattoo on season eight, all of them.

Seeing the tattoos they did every challenge, hit or miss,

triumph or fail, just seeing them make it

that's the inspiration that everybody needs

to do the best at what they do in life.

Ryan's here, highly anticipated arrival.

A lot of people emailed and called.

People are coming out of the woodwork wanting to know

when she's gonna be here.

- This is the last little hurrah

of my Ink Master season eight life.

This is it.

- You made it.

- The beginning and the end,

all in one day. - You hit the big time.

- Wanna do more of like a Tibetan Buddha

like headdress on it.

- Gorgeous.

- I feel great, I've been welcomed with open arms.

Perfect, look at that.

I'm really hoping to produce some awesome tattoos,

and I'm excited to just show Texas what I've got.

- I'm pretty confident that Ryan

is gonna really blow peoples' minds

throughout the rest of her career.

I think she's one of the people that really love it,

and she's dedicated to it.

And if she stays as dedicated in her career

as she was during the competition

I think she's gonna do a lot lot more.

- If I could advice to any other tattooer

that is interested in someday becoming Ink Master,

I would say be confident, believe in yourself,

just do your best, and not be afraid.

(piano keys)

Defend your fort the way you want!

Build sniper towers, if that's your style,

or use all of the powerful traps

you've crafted to make a maze of death that will do the dirty work for you.

When monsters do take a bite out of your defenses, you can repair and

Of course, Constructors are skilled at building forts, but

they also provide valuable crowd-control!

Primed for combat, Soldiers bring grenades,

as well as the big guns...

and sometimes the

BIGGEST GUNS!

Outlanders are the best at harvesting, and have

some unique tools at their disposal.

All that,

and a MEAN right hook!

Finally, there are Ninjas! Great for melee,

and really into throwing stars, they're good for

getting into, and out of, trouble quickly.

Collect cards to get heroes with different skills.

More heroes equals more abilities

Get your friends together for a well-rounded team.

Cooperation can make all the difference.

The people need you!

I like doing v I like to do | Advanced English Grammar Lesson - Duration: 4:34.

Hi! This is Greg from OnlineLanguageAcademy.com

and in this video we're going to be looking at a very common question among

language learners like you and that is: what's the difference between 'I like

doing' and 'I like to do'? ...Are you ready?

Before I start, remember you just have to click SUBSCRIBE on YouTube for your

chance to win 5 conversation classes via Skype with OnlineLanguageAcademy.com

Right, let's have a look at this difference because, really, the difference

is very, very small, but it's important to know if you want to have an advanced

level of English. What you will usually hear is 'I like swimming / I like playing / I

like listening to music' with the gerund. This is the most common way to express

yourself because it's what you normally talk about when you're using the word

'like'. It's usually to tell people what you enjoy doing, what makes you happy,

what you like doing: you like playING you like listenING you like readING.

OK, now to explain the very small difference, I'm going to give you 3

examples. Look at the difference between these two sentences:

I like brushing my teeth 3 times a day or I like to brush my teeth three times

a day. So, in the first example we're saying that we're really happy when

we're brushing our teeth, we enjoy it, it makes us happy, it's fun, we enjoy doing

it! I don't know too many people who really enjoy brushing their teeth! It's a

choice, habit, it's a preference, three times a

day... it's a preference. So in this situation we use 'I like to...' I like to

brush my teeth three times a day. I don't enjoy doing, it I'm not laughing,

I'm not happy while I'm doing it. No! But, it's my choice, it's a habit and it's the

way I want to live. So we use 'I like TO brush my teeth three times a day'. Let's

have a look at another example to help you see the difference between 'I like

doing' and 'I like to do'. 'I like cleaning my house once a week' or 'I like to clean

my house once a week'. So, again, in the first situation you love it, you're happy,

you enjoy cleaning your house... that's not me!! OK, I hate cleaning my house, I hate

it, it's the worst, but I want to live in a clean house so 'I like TO clean my house

once a week'. It's a choice, it's a preference, it's a habit. And finally, look

at the difference between 'I like going to the gym twice a week' and 'I like to go

to the gym twice a week'. Yep, you got it!! In the first situation you enjoy going,

you love running on that treadmill! You like it, it's good, it's fun, it makes you

happy! I like going to the gym twice a week. But, if you're talking about your

choice, what you prefer to do, what habit you have chosen to do in your life, then

we say 'I like to go to the gym twice a week'. OK, a question for you now, I want
